#if u can. obviously #not everyone can but for those who can feel my words infect ur brain #this isnt to shame ppl who buy from fast fashion brands for financial reasons #but if ur fast fashion clothes are showing signs of wear and tear fix em!! #u COULD replace them.... or u could patch them up and embroider cute flowers or a cool ass dragon on them #and then boom ur fast fashion item is longer lasting and ur own creation that u can wear proudly #u can sew a rip together #and darn over a threadbare section #if u have gained/lost weight u can try to adjust them bc theres lots of guides out there #u can embroider over a stain or just purposefully add more so it looks deliberate #eg. bleach painting #also if u were just gonna throw it out buy a replacement anyway why not give mending a go!! #or cut it up to make patches for future mends

So since I can’t seem think of anything else, here’s another idea for you :

I think that when Ed headbutts Stede, his eyes are suggesting that he’s waking up violently like when you have a nightmare in a movie and you’re sitting up from the trauma.

what if all the sequences with him and Hornigold (Hornigold’s ghost? Just this guy in white?) are a sort of fever dream/coma following an injury or him getting knocked out or drowning?

It’s got this blue haze and Hornigold is always behind him like a mentor figure or a guide.

Ed jumping with the rock and sinking is a metaphor of him choosing to live (« don’t let go ») and killing his past self(« life begins again »).

And maybe it’s Stede’s words « I love everything about you » etc that get him out of it. But that does not mean that he forgave him, just that he’s going to live.

She's finally gotten around to it! So many of you have reached out asking if I could provide tray files for my builds. I finally am able to meet those asks! I have been working behind the scenes to set up a Patreon account where you can find all of my builds, their tray files, and cc lists.

I will make it very clear, this patreon is just a hosting page for my trayfile and cc build requirements. It will always be free and nothing will ever be paywalled. I promise you I am financially stable enough to not need any donations or funds, but in the off change someone does sign up then all proceeds will be donated to The Trevor Project or any other organization working to aid marginalized communities.

little background story, I spent a few days coming up with a branding guide for my future content. No its not that serious, but it was a lot of fun to think about font size, color scheme, logo design. I did some custom cover photos for the builds on Patreon but got lazy and just added in the photos I took previously. Going forward there should be some consistency in how it all looks.

I cant wait to share more content soon (hint: tomorrow)!

How can I maintain my femme fatale appearance as a day time look? I am able to exude it when it comes to nighttime however, what would a daytime look be ?

Style outfits in dark colors and luxurious, tailored fabrics, but in more casual cuts (e.g. a black knit tank dress/slip dress, silk button-downs, casual blouses, tailored shorts, vests, dresses, skirts, blazers, vegan leather/leather basics, items with lace-up and lace-trim detailing, coated denim, etc.)

Wear pointed-toe shoes like flat slingbacks, kitten heel pumps/boots

Make a thin jet black cat-eye with standout black lashes and full brows the focal point of your makeup look. Save the red/deep-hued lipstick for nighttime

Embrace a shaggy bob, tousled waves, a layered lob, long layers, or a sleek bouncy hairstyle

Try a sensual floral, instead an outright seductive scent (think something like YSL Mon Paris)

Maintain good posture, eye contact, and clear, assertive communication – be playful when the situation deems it appropriate. Never forget your class or charm

Another weird question for y'all: If you are moderately allergic* to a thing and had been eating it anyway for years because you didn't know, and then when you figure out what you're allergic to you quit eating it at all, can you lose your ability to tolerate even a little bit of it? *a phrase which here means "probably severely allergic but can tolerate small amounts when on antihistamines"

So based on what I've read so far for primers on chaos magic, I recommend starting with Condensed Chaos: An Introduction To Chaos Magic by Phil Hine, THEN getting the updated and revised and expanded editions of Liber Null and Psychonaut and also Liber Kaos by Peter J Carroll.

Caveats for Condensed Chaos:

misuse of "shaman" and similar terms (none of what is brought up relates to Tungusic peoples)

written by a neurotypical white English bisexual cisgender man, and boy howdy is the neurotypical part obvious in several areas

inconsistent capitalization for concepts, and also inconsistent comma usage

definitely a product of its time and not decolonized, which is a larger problem in chaos magic as a whole

Recommended Audience for Condensed Chaos:

pop culture mages/pagans

those interested in servitors, sigils, or chaos magic more broadly

technology mages

those who want to explore Jungian psychology in magic

As for Peter J Carroll's works... Basically the same as the above, yet also way more difficult to read if you're not used to old grimoire-esque language and writing styles.

I'd still genuinely recommend all three of these, just with the reminder to raise an eyebrow at some of the claims made.

The books I still have to read on chaos magic that I currently own are Hands-On Chaos Magic: Reality Manipulation Through The Ovayki Current by Andrieh Vitimus; Creating Magickal Entities: A Complete Guide to Entity Creation by David Michael Cunningham, Taylor Ellwood, and T Amanda R Wagener; and Magickal Servitors: Create Your Own Spirits To Attract Pleasure, Power and Prosperity by Damon Brand.

Plenty of reading left for me to do on this subject.
