Kk I know aint no one cares but I do.

Shaggy and Fred's moments in Scooby Doo the mystery begins (fraggy)

Fred seems upset that shaggy is getting tripped on the bus but he doesn't really do anything other than get kind of uncomfortable knowing that it's happening.

In the library I noticed most of the scene when it shows the characters, Fred is looking in Shaggy's Direction it's just like kind of um idk gay. And it's like every time it comes to show a Fred reaction half of those reaction scenes he's looking at Shaggy.

K so they get to the cemetery and Shaggy wants to back out but Fred and Velma link arms with him and force him to go into the cemetery. We cut to them getting to the graves and Shaggy pulls his arm away from Fred's grip, which meant Fred was walking and scooping Shaggy's arm the whole way there. So gay.

There's the scene in the graveyard and Velma is talking and Shaggy's on the total opposite side of her and so he's looking near her direction to listen to what she's saying. And he's looking that way and he standing right next to Fred so he's looking in his Direction. And the whole time for the total of almost 9 seconds, it looks like Shaggy is just staring at Fred and Fred is looking directly at the gravestone. And so he looks over at Shaggy because he feels his eyes on him and it's just very gay. It's a gay scene what else am I supposed to say?.

Everyone in this group has a crush on Fred. I feel like compared to curse of the Lake Monster, Velma starts to realize she's a lesbian in THAT movie.

Shaggy's basement / room is so cool btw.

Daphnes face when Velma calls her a "Hottie".

Fred looks so impressed when Shaggy takes the blame. Also shaggy looks directly at Fred during this scene. "It wasn't just them *licks lips* I was there too"-Fred lmao.

I love this Shaggy so much you don't understand.

"Thanks to Shaggy *arm grab* now we have our suspects" idk just cute.

And so we get to the stairwell scene. Fred is so open and smiley. Shaggy is so inviting its just adorable. "So what are we gonna go as?" *Fred looks him up and down* sir-

That stare between velma and daphne. K but Fred dressed like that making me wanna headcanon that he listens to hip hop now. White boy in Ohio of course he would. Bro he got the earings in and everything.

Gotta point out that when Shaggy is ranting Fred always cuts him off and addresses it. Cuute. Freds smile when Shaggy says he was held back. All their smiles. They're just so soft.

He got distracted and started ranting and Mr. Fred stepped in. LMAO Daphne's reaction to him getting distracted.

He got distracted and Fred brought him back. Aw and Fred encourages him.

Velma just ✨staring✨ at Daphne.

Shaggy runs into the room and Fred immediately asks what's wrong.

Fred and Shaggy parenting their dog together. Fred is growing a soft spot for Shaggy you can tell.

Their eye contact when trying to alert the villain.

The ending with close proximity fraggy and vaphne.

K but a shaggy and velma friendship is adorable.

Shaggy latches onto Freds hand and tries to pull him to the van.

LMAO both Fred and Shaggy giving her uncle the eye.

Fred zipping Shaggys lips shut. Idk but it's there.

Fred fist bumping Daphnes uncle and Shaggy laughing at it.

I always thought during the Man to Man scene Fred was being disrespectful but now I think it's just because Shaggy's like a year or two older. Cause Shaggy asks to talk "man to man" and Fred says "sort of" which this version of Fred idt would say that in a disrespectful way. Maybe '02 Fred but not this one.

"Play the field" he would so experiment. Bisexual. He doesnt leave Shaggy in the dark and he makes sure to not only explain to him but also show that he doesnt look down on him for not getting it first thing.

Fred playing along to shaggys antics lmao. He just nodding and smiling.

Aw Shaggy's speech about futon's vs mattresses and Fred smiling down and shaking his head after.

Fred making his chilli cheese fries joke about Shaggy and then getting a kick out of it.

They know Shaggy so well at this point its adorable.

Aw shaggy and velma run to the group and Shaggy immediately grabs Fred's arm and hides behind him. While also screaming "Save me". Too cute.

He did it again. He looked at Shaggy when talking. It wasn't even directed at him. Shaggy held contact too. He looked at Fred for like 6 seconds bruh. Fred did it too. After the wanda grubwort story. His was like 3 sec.

He goes on a rant and Fred and Daphne just smile and look down as he tries to lie to them. And then Fred interrupts his rambling and addresses what he is trying to say. And Fred tells him "It's okay" before continuing. Just so much beautiful communication. Fred also looks at Shaggy when Velma jokes and then shaggy looks at Fred and laughs and -😭💗.

Its only when Fred looks at him that he finally comes clean. Close proximity Fred Jones. Hes so touchy. Also when he comes up to Shaggy he like, runs his hand down Shaggy back. K but the deleted scene (comes from the OG script) of Fred saying "I will Never understand girls".

I mean it is true. Of course Shaggy aint her type. He's not a girl. I love that he can't understand Scooby. Its so goofy and cute.

He reaches out to touch shaggy when he asks whats wrong. Shaggy pushing Daphne out of the way so HE can hide behind Fred.

Its too funny. Fred once again protects both Shaggy and Daphne and im just like-

"Shaggy, you're okay" *Freds hand lingers* awwww and then when Shaggy starts ranting again Fred grabs his arm and reassures him that Velma is okay. And then he touches his arm and leads him. Too cute im telling y'all.

Daphne and Shaggy curling up into Fred's chest. Not only THAT but Shaggy bends down into his chest. Like sir you are 6'2. Bisexuals. All 3. Daphne and Velma walk away with their arms comforting each other. And Fred puts his hand on Shaggys back.

Fred asked Shaggy how his date went and he rested his hand on his shoulder then he let it slide down to Shaggys back and let it sit there until Daphne began reading the list of names.

Fred once again reassures shaggy that the problem is something else. I mean look, he could be a jerk and just roll his eyes at Shaggy but no. He takes time to explain and communicate.

Awww k so the group hug at the end when Shaggy ruffles Fred's hair. And he goes "Not the hair, man. Not the hair".

elfilin:theyre themed around a more cutesy aesthetic for angels n space! contrasting forgo and elfilis more dark theme of those, also w an inspiration of retro futurism! and yes their outfit is completely stupid and overly complicated thats part of the charm <3 theyre like a scene kid to me.also a little star bc all of kirbys friends get one.fun fact they had 4 beta designs bc nothing looked good

fecto forgo:(sorry for bad pic i need to redo its entire reference sheet) just an hospital gown w medical tomes that werent removed from them (my best friend gave me that idea n what to add lol), i think theyre best described as a blob of weird elfilis slime that can take a humanesque form rather than a human form that can blob, theyre constantly melting n all its veins are visible, theyre v cold to touch n in the tube their body flows in a way that gives them cherub imagery similar to what was intended w canon forgo, also its legs are useless, theyre very weak and unstable and not naturally formed (also since i picture the elfilis split as some uh.physical form?? of disassociative trauma random trivia when they front post game elfilins eyes get replaced w theirs, just for the aesthetic)(credits to my bestie for coming up w that interpretation lol)

shadow kirby:they get two designs like kirby, both inspired off theirs but just like.emo lol.dont ask why their hair started doing that its whatever reason they became purple in canon.they have overalls beneath that coat btw

and miscellaneous designs i havent given a final sheet to yet!! taranza and dark taranza r based off more fantasy victorian (? medieval???) clothing, susie is holographic bc i didnt want to give her gray shading n her limbs r all floaty (i imagine shes always making some weird electric noise due to that), gooey is just like cute tbh? their cape is based off their mock matter form, chuchus hair is based off the shape the octopus species she apparently is has, i dont have any notable commentary for drawcia or claycia (was that her name) other than drawcia is like a paint blob.also claycias supposed to be way chubbier but i underestimated how huge her coat would look.gotta fix that

oh gosh. this is a lot of power to have and i have too many ideas. it’s hot on my mind because of the vickyvesties, but i freaking hate how almyra is treated in canon. fódlan is atrocious with any and all foreign policy but sweet sothis are they dicks about almyra.

i also would have loved more screen time for our agarthan pals. i really, extremely do not fuck with clowns, but i still wish we could have gotten more depth from kronya, who was just on the cusp of being really interesting.

i realize i’ve cheated and said more than one thing but whatever i’ve got one more: all of azure moon should be placed in the circular filing cabinet, but especially rodrigue’s death scene. insane to have felix’s dad’s death be entirely about dimitri when felix is standing right there. triple insane to have it happen at all when byleth could just fucking rewind it!!! hello! did you forget you have time powers??? wake up girl!!!! we got an explanation for why she couldn’t undo jeralt’s death, but they don’t even hand-wave away rodrigue’s. byleth just accepts that he’s gotta go. what a joke!!

for fe3h, i don’t think my headcanons are too wild for the most part, but i subscribe to the theory that sothis’s dragon form is um. really big. like, say, yea big:

my hottest take? the agarthans were kind of right. unfortunately they were too stupid and evil to make anything of being right.

💘 Is it easier for you to write angst or fluff?

oh, angst. absolutely angst. when the mood strikes and i get the right idea, i can crank out a fluff fic pretty fast, but if i set out to write fluff, i could wind up sitting around for hours trying to come up with something. i’m a lot better at plugging away at angst.

my fluff fics are also prone to taking sudden turns into angst if i don’t keep a close eye on the flow of the conversation. the beginning of chapter 3 of the vesties is supposed to be very light-hearted and sweet, but it was an ordeal keeping byleth from souring it all. she’s so emo in that story and it’s terrifically hard to make her have any fun. i had to scrap six or seven paragraphs and rework them completely because she bummed claude out so badly at his freaking new year’s party, and that simply would not do.

kozu doesn't have the echo at all! he's a RELATIVELY normal guy... not being able to help the 'real' wol fight did bother him more and more as time went on so endwalker finally letting him participate was gratifying for him (guy who has a guilt complex about inaction. smiles) for caranar, he gets flashes of the future similar to mikoto from ivalice/bozja quests and... it's a big thing for him, from the moment he got it he and the people around him labeled it as a curse and portent of doom. it was the start of a lot of bad shit happening to him genuinely. it haunted him for the longest time, and before meeting minfillia he refused to even speak about it or admit it was a thing anymore out of fear of it. after meeting her and other echo-bearers it was a huge weight lifted from him, but it took him a long time to begin to accept and come to terms with it. even when it was framed as a loving blessing from hydaelyn he still fell ill at ease about it. the things he sees always happen without fail, but they lack a lot of context that the canon in-game echo scenes have so the devil is in the details etc. but even still very rarely does it not fill him with dread to get one. meeting mikoto really helped him cope too though I imagine they are besties based on JUST that cause he is not scholarly but they can firmly shake hands about this.

caranar hypothetically has no problem sleeping around, but in the context of like ARR-late HW he is way too insecure and scared (both of being hurt and hurting someone. bodily) to be vulnerable with people like that really. so he flirts then pulls back before he has to really show his underbelly etc you'd have to chase him and get his trust. hard sell. in my main canon for caranar by the time uuuh 4.1 rolls around he has a wife but in my multitudinous AUs SB would be the prime caranar slut era (especially when he's riding the high of the nadaam arc), shb too but in a more unhealthy "we might die tomorrow so fuck it" way. post endwalker though he'd be very well adjusted and free to indulge. the thing with him though is that if he catches real feelings for someone he'd pursue that singlemindedly and get overprotective of it. and fall deep fast. so partially waiting for right person but not going to hold himself back either I suppose? kozu... well he's a whore and I love him for that. (in my perfect world where transphobia isn't a thing to worry about on etheirys). as soon as he got remotely settled in dalmasca he just had a full hedonist era. caranar was his roommate and was sick of his shit but didn't care enough at the time to intervene. the events at the end of their time there though lead to kozu withdrawing a lot and focusing on himself rather than relationships, by the time we get to ARR though he'd just have regular flings. dropping anything as soon as he got scared of the expectation, inclination, echo, of any real emotional intimacy and commitment. genuinely kind of a big problem with him until fucking shadowbringers where in the face of "we might die here for real" and being away from the source he pulled some skeletons out of his closet and faced them for real. still a bit flighty but he's trying. also he's polyam and if a partner wanted exclusivity it'd be over right away, but he's very clear about that before getting real with anyone. oh btw caranar is bi/pan and kozu is very very gay

34. Would you say your WoL is fundamentally a good person? Or are they a bad person that's been persuaded to do the right things?

well I think if you directly asked them, caranar would legitimately think he's a bad person despite his every effort to try and do good. and kozu would just say they're trying to be a good person out of their own selfish desire, undermining how good they could truly be. I think they're both fundamentally good people though, especially caranar... he's just been abused and used enough that he blames himself for it rather than those who inflicted it on him. (other than the empire. and ishgardian inquisitors. he wants to tear through them. his righteous rage is focused more of injust structures of power and ppl that willfully enforce them vs. individual people) he really just wants to do right by common people though. kozu is a bit more complicated, but not enough for me to say he was ever "bad" just he genuinely didn't understand the weight of his own actions when killing people as a warder in golmore and felt more and more personally sickened by himself the more of the world he saw, and thinks he can never make up for a hundred years of that no matter how many lives he saves now.

I have weird dreams

lol first non reblog post- kinda-

anyway just had an odd dream, there was an ask box i was gonna drop it in. However I don’t remember who’s it was so uh, I'm just posting it here lol.

Quick heads up, I’m gonna mention the whole thing you do in dreams where you “just know” bc you do, and while this dream was Mcyt based (The Hermits, Empires, lil bit Dsmp) I also mention some other stuff. So if you don’t get a reference or smthn dw abt it.

kep in mind, this is the characters not the content creators (thank my fanfic addiction, my brain didn’t decide it was the cc’s that would've been a nightmare-)

(not bc i hate the cc’s just it would’ve been weird to post lol)

This was also a lucid dream, which means I was in control of myself, but I like to follow the story so I let it flow and just react. But that's gonna result in sentences like, I was trying yada yada bc it is me trying, not the flow of the dream. Just thought I’d mention lol. I half lucid dream a lot so I’ve gotten ok at giving the rundown.

Ok so the whole thing gave off almost life series vibes, but also apocalypse vibes lol. We were in a kinda medium little group, some faces I remember some I don’t some i just kinda knew without seeing their face or hearing them talk, and a couple I had no sweet clue.

At the very beginning of the dream, I was trying to figure out who was with me, bc I could immediately tell that there were at least six or seven people and at most ten (I think there ended up being more just not near enough to me that magic dream spidey senses happened.) we were in a kind of tower I think with our stuff in the corners, wooden floors and stone walls. We all had cloaks on.

First there was Wilbur talking and I was with him and two ish other people + Tommy, he was making some sort of strategy or plan for like an attack or something, but I think we were also hiding/taking refuge. I think it was Ren but that was only a late dream detail. I went to go check for people and no, I have no clue who the beginning people are. But based on later parts of the dream they could be Cleo and Pearl. Moving on I went look for I think Grian or maybe Jimmy? Anyway I find shenanigans with what I think what was supposed to be a warden idk it was too far away, whatever it was Bdubs did it and that was enough for me to leave bc Bdubs warden is not what i want to die too bc the dream was fun. Cleo and Pearl are there with i think Owen, but it could've been Oli- and then Wilbur comes out and panics lol. So I head back in and find Grian looting whatever abandoned castle were taking refuge in. We have a quick conversation and he says something that makes me think of Jimmy. I’m about to go look for him but I turn around and he’s behind me down the little bit of stairs (the second entrance to the balcony like section with the warden) I find him and two others. Who one i think was Joel and the other was either Etho or Grian. Yes that makes no sense bc Grian was just talking to me, don’t you just love dream logic?

About here it starts to cut forwards and back between the current scene and what seems to be the end of the situation.

so its a little fenced in area, iron fences to the right of the castle/tower thingy. Weird almost like fountain stand but it has a throne on it. That’s in the center. Theres a lil dirt path in the front. I don’t remember much abt this bit. But Ren rides up the path, Bdubs or Martyn was there with him briefly and then the dream logic’d them away. Scott is in the corner and I’m hanging out near/on the throne. Ren comes in yelling about smthn, oh btw it’s red winter Ren. Anyway he’s yelling abt smthn I’m basically hidng and Scott is dying from a sword wound in his gut hurt. And after that it’s blurry and inexplicable.

:autismstare: anon are you sure...a free pass to infodump about r1999...(i start shaking)

(imagine the scene changes into me looking like a nerd about to teach you something) ok so reverse 1999 is a (checks note) turn-based tactical role-playing video game. whatever that's supposed to mean. and it released globally pretty recently, during october 2023! the first version released was the chinese one, who was released may 2023, so the difference is not too huge

but yeah! the gameplay is basically it's...gacha. unfortunately. maximum rarity is 6 stars. and you can use your characters in battles (3 maximum, + a bonus character that enters the battle if one of your characters dies)

and in the battles you can do moves but using cards, and there's multiple different moves. attack (either reality dmg or mental dmg, either on a single enemies or on 2 enemies, ect), buff, debuff, healing...you know the drill. and yeah all your characters have their own sets of cards that are handed to you randomly at the beginning of each round. you can also move your cards around and combine them (IF they are the same) to make them stronger!

theres also moxies that you accumulate by doing moves or moving your cards or combining them ect and basically when your character has maximum moxies you can play their ultimate which is their super powerful attack, basically

BUT ENOUGH OF THE GAMEPLAY the story. its sooooooo good basically the premise is that there is something called the storm that makes time move backwards ever since 1999. so the main cast goes from the 1960s to the 1920s at one point

you play as vertin, who is the main character, AND UNLIKE MOST GACHA GAMES MC SHE IS HER OWN CHARACTER!!!! with her own personality and motive and story and eughhh shes great i love her so much

theres also events with events stories but i didnt really do much of those yet. im sure theyre really good too though

also we have yuri. like a lot apparently. including a yuri square with doomed yuri and unrequited yuri (vertin is part of it)

I THINK r1999 is also very good when it comes to history and cultures because 1. they literally travel back in time and 2. the characters are all so varied!!!!! idk about the other voiceovers but in the english one they made sure that the characters have accents based on where they're from, and even sometimes speak their own language! (for example vertin and regulus have a clear british accent; schneider and sonetto have some sort of italian accent? maybe?; matilda has a french accent AND speaks french; satsuki has a japanese accent AND speaks japanese; and ect and ect!)

and hum. thonks. idk if i have anything else to say hum the game is free to play on mobile and windows! so uh feel free to check it out and just, see what you think and if its your type of game or not :3 i personally started it COMPLETELY BLIND and in the end well. i adore it! i seriously need to continue main story grrr

oh wait but just a quick tw/cw on like, some very serious subjects like death and all and also blood and uh lowkey descriptive gore (not in images but text) at one point in the main story. the story can be pretty serious even with the popular memey regulus line "so you have a mother!" lmfao

It’s gonna be a long one!

Kinn and Porsche, let’s talk about Kinn first. He’s a mafia boss, some of you seem to be forgetting about that but he’s a BOSS! And mafia one at that.

He starts to care for Porsche, it isn’t particularly good from an employer view. But he can’t help it because he’s also good like that. Porsche’s situation doesn’t help him. Because Porsche’s not up to do for what they ask of him. I know some of you might get angry over this, but why does Porsche started to work harder?

Was it really to make Kinn regret? Or just to be able to get his reassurance? His motives, I believe wasn’t about being a good bodyguard. Because he still isn’t that good!

I see some of you saying, who put Porsche on bar duty, I say why wouldn’t they? He’s supposed to be top notch bodyguard now, like Ken says in the punishment scene. Right?

But no, Porsche had to drink that offered glass, he didn’t questioned it, not really. And don’t say he looked over Kinn for permission. I don’t think that was what it was. Porsche simply did what he wanna do again, and guys, that’s not okay! Not from a employee view.

Porsche’s basically not caring for his job, and he’s proving it. It just proves that he still doesn’t care about being a real protector for Kinn. It’s one of the reasons why I’m looking for when he’s actually gonna look out for Kinn in a very serious way. Don’t get me wrong, Porsche’s gonna get so good, he’ll be scaring people even for looking at Kinn’s way. But he’s got so much more to do before that happens. He’ll get there though, you’ll see.

Now, let’s talk about that faithful night a little. It was dub con at best, nothing more in my opinion. Why though? Let’s start with a different approach, let’s say Porsche wasn’t drugged and he was practically molesting Kinn. Would you all think the same about Porsche’s behavior if his judgment wasn’t clouded (it wasn’t too clouded btw I’ll get to that in a sec).

I know some of you might say Kinn could’ve pushed him he was the sober one(!) (was Kinn really so sober? He was already drinking scotch at the event, and we don’t know if he was also drinking before coming there..) or that he could let one his bodyguards to take care of Porsche. How could he though? You all see it, guy can’t sleep without a gun in his hand in his own home. How can he trust one of his people to take care of Porsche. He can’t, because even if there’s a tiny bit of doubt that one of them is the mole then the minute Kinn leaves Porsche, they might call the predator back and let them have their way with Porsche. Kinn won’t have that risk.

Kinn doesn’t trust anyone. ANYONE! He also couldn’t trust them with Porsche. Because he feels for Porsche, he can’t pinpoint what’s the feeling yet. But Kinn will get there too. It’s not easy for him, living the life he lives.

Let’s get back to the dr*gged topic. I’m gonna treat it more seriously, why? Because some of you act like this is real life and you’re making Kinn to be your arc predator (While you’ve Vegas to blame for pretty much everything). So I’ll also act like it’s more serious than it is.

Let’s talk about consent in that scene, first of all Porsche headbutted Vegas. He was conscious enough to realize something was wrong and needed to stop. Then he threw up. That’s also something that’s gonna help him feel more grounded. Then Kinn takes him to the bathroom he’s once again conscious enough to push Kinn, to tell him not get touchy.

I’m not making up these scenes they happened! And do you really think Kinn didn’t wash Porsche a little or at least wiped him with wet towel? Because they were covered in puke. Except they weren’t when we see them in the bathroom. So everyone can breathe, maybe Porsche even brushed his teeth. (And also how do you know Kinn didn’t use lube or condoms? It’s not like they can show every little detail, it’s not p*rn guys!)

Anyways, then we see Porsche looking for something in Kinn. Something he begin to look for, starting ep3. Porsche looks for his attention. He doesn’t know why he wants it, not in the way of reality, Porsche just knows that he has that need for particularly Kinn’s attention.

He needs to have it. His eyes are also on Kinn when he’s looking for an approval or something, it’s subtle but it’s there. And the way Porsche chooses his words. It’s a very open way of showing how much Porsche needs it from Kinn, and Kinn only!

Back to the faithful night, I say it’s dub con at best because, Porsche’s touching all over Kinn, he’s aware, I completely agree that dr*gs have affects on him because he’s being very courageous. But he isn’t off of his mind guys! And he remembers, he remembers something very particular, like Kinn kissing him and he’s also in his mind enough to use that against Kinn. (Didn’t any of you guys get drunk or experiment with some of the p*lls to know, how hard it is to keep your mind in one place or remember anything in particular? just saying)

Porsche knows guys, he knows that Kinn thinks he doesn’t remember the kiss. So he hits Kinn up with it. He says admit you like me. Porsche’s begging for that attention from Kinn again.

But since we’re having a real life approach (it’s not that easy to call people r*pist like that!), I would definitely be defending Kinn by saying, Porsche practically molested Kinn while all Kinn ever wanted to do was take care of Porsche. And I would say Porsche was conscious enough to remember and keep up with a conversation as well. I would argue that what happened was consensual (I’m defending Kinn it’s my defense strategy here because you all are coming for my man Kinn! Calling him names and all) and that they could ask all about it to the supposed victim! (Porsche remembers the night..)

Porsche himself says he isn’t that weak! He isn’t! Porsche’s feelings are all over the place, but why? Is it because he had sex with Kinn? Didn’t he wanted it? No guys he initiated it! And he’s upset because he feels it meant something for him. He begs Kinn to accept that it meant something for Kinn as well. That he means something for Kinn.

But Kinn can’t do that. He can’t! He’s already known by his favoritism, giving Porsche what he needs will only mean it’s gonna put them both in the dangers way more.

Porsche gets devastated once he learns Kinn wanted the punishment (Kinn didn’t Korn did, but Porsche doesn’t know that) that’s what pushes Porsche off finally Porsche’s deciding that he didn’t want it to happen. That’s why he’s in pain.

They keep coming his way though, later he sees Kinn’s ‘friend’ and he also sees how he’s touching Kinn, so Porsche looks, he probably can’t do anything but look. It’s only hurts so bad when Kinn says he’s replacing Porsche with Ken. Why Ken though, right? I think it’s because Ken works more for papa Korn. He’s the one that keeps carrying intel on Kinn to Korn. And Kinn choosing his dad’s path. Because at the end of the day he still needs protection, and now he also needs to protect Porsche.

Porsche can’t understand that. He’s far too deep to think he means nothing to Kinn. Kinn asking Porsche, can’t you see what I’ve done, was so good! Kinn, maybe for the first time begging Porsche to see what he’s trying to do for them. But Porsche’s got too broken on the way he can’t trust Kinn’s words now.

And now let’s talk about why Porsche isn’t good what he’s doing, again. It’s because of his behavior and Vegas. Porsche doesn’t realize it yet but him hanging out with Vegas is gonna become a problem not only because of Kinn.

Main family and minor family are pretty much fighting. Trying to literally kill each other. Don’t tell me Porsche doesn’t hear that. I think ep5 proved that bodyguards talk. There’s no way Porsche doesn’t know this. Then why does he keep doing it? Why does he let Vegas get close to him? He’s pretty much taking Vegas’ side everytime he talks with Kinn.

I haven’t read the books but my bestie told me all about it. And if I didn’t know about it I might actually consider Porsche as the mole! Yeah that’s right! I’m completely on board with Kim looking at Porsche and trying to figure him out. Porsche’s shady. I know there’s a Porsche thirst going on. (I mean look at Apo, I understand that, but it isn’t supposed to mean we’ve to throw Kinn under the bus!)

And Porsche’s pretty much trying to get Kinn killed from an objective view of things. He definitely doesn’t care enough what happens to Kinn. We all see Kinn trying to take care of Porsche but guys, we haven’t see Porsche doing the same to him!

And now he’s hanging out with Vegas in a very open way. It’s shady af. If I were to be Korn I wouldn’t have let Porsche to protect any of my children.

And Porsche being very verbally warned by Kinn twice now. He shows no regret for it. Like I said if I didn’t know better I might seriously consider Porsche as the mole.

At last once more I say that punishment was much needed. Porsche is an employee. And he keeps making mistakes. The mistakes he shouldn’t be getting away with. Just try and see things from an objective view once more. I bet none you wouldn’t have let any of your employees go that far. But it’s easy to talk, isn’t it?

The view only shows Porsche doesn’t care about his job, he hangs out with Vegas (with minor family) he keeps screwing things up. He’s untrustworthy. I know some of you are gonna get mad at me for saying all this, but this is what’s happening.

And I’m rooting for the day Porsche’s gonna prove everyone wrong and he’s gonna prove to Kinn as well that he’s Kinn’s head bodyguard indeed and he’s on his side, and he loves him.

They both are gonna prove. And it’s going to be spectacular to watch it all happen.

I really love your revolutionary girl utena/atla au. Even though I never saw the anime, I really get the sense of the world through how you interpret the characters (love the jeong jeong piece!). I also appreciate how you addressed the issues with writing native characters in boarding schools in regards of this, because the academy is suppose to reflect a broken system. Do you have a role for aang in the au? Feel free to turn off anon btw, people love to harass others without any backlash on this site.

For that whole crossover au, the entire point is that it isn't Avatar characters do Revolutionary Girl Utena, it's Avatar with all its themes and something resembling its plot set in Ohtori Academy with all its rules and struggles (basically, a school where time doesn't seem to work, believing something is enough to make it real, and the student council is following the orders of some mysterious behind the scenes figure and dueling for the right to win a miracle).

Aang is a member of a nomadic nation whose starkly different culture, with regards to spirituality and family structure, has been used to excuse targeted attacks on them. Air Nomads, so called because they come and go like the winds. At a young age he found his entire caravan massacred. He had run away and ended up at a friend's house because he feared his elders would send him away to a school to more easily live in both worlds and better represent their nation, but ultimately decided he would go if he was needed. He heard about Ohtori through the Penatacs, Sokka and Katara, new friends of his at the time. Like them, Aang decides to do what it takes to get into the school, because even if Sokka's right and the shining thing hidden away somewhere on the school grounds is bullshit, if there is a chance to bring the people of that caravan back or protect what remains of his nation, he can't let it slip away.

Once in Ohtori and on the student council, his goal is to win the dueling game and harm as few people as possible getting there. Gradually he begins to question things. Who is End Of The World? Why do they want kids to fight each other? Who is the Rose Bride-- no, she has a name. Who is Mai, and why is she in the situation she's in? Why must they treat her like an object to win the game?

His goals remain the same throughout his time at the academy, but every passing day seems to throw more complications and injustices in his face.

SvtFoE Rhombulus Rewrite (Pt. 3)

PART 3 MY LOVELY CHIMARAS! (It’s for this thing btw) This post shall be going over my ideas for what would happen in Season 3, and would have a few more changes in comparison to Season 2. I also like how in this season, they actually made me love Rhombulus even more somehow even though we were supposed to be mad at the whole MHC. They really did just set up his character to have a whole arc and then just dropped it, didn’t they? Anyways, I digress. (Warning: Actually long. Like, each episode mentioned is gonna have a few paragraphs dedicated to it)

Season 3:

- While bring young Moon to meet Eclipsa in “Moon the Undaunted”, Rhombulus will be slightly more nervous and caucious about showing Eclipsa to Moon. Moon might ask Rhombulus what Eclipsa is like or what she needs to know before meeting her, and Rhombulus will say that Eclipsa is terrifying or something.

- He’ll then admit that he doesn’t remember that well because he was only about 100 years old by the time he froze her, but he does remember the rest of the MHC talking about how big a threat she was, so she must be pretty scary.

- This not only gives us an idea of how young Rhombulus is in comparison to the others, but also the fear and jumpiness surrounding Eclipsa despite very little knowledge about her or what her deal is. There’s only a few primary sources, and all are biased.

- When Rhombulus refreezes Eclipsa, he says “phew! That was close! She didn’t do anything evil-y, right?” and Moon responds with “no, no, she was...helpful, actually. She didn’t seem that evil.” Rhombulus says “oh, trust me, she’s definitely evil. Even my gut agrees!” before leading Moon away, who looks back one last time before following him.

- “Rest in Pudding” is going to be pretty important to Rhombulus’ arc, even if he won’t be in it for to long. Due to being the one closest to Lekmet (seeing him as a parental figure, taking care of him, kinda being raised by him, being a close confidant), Rhombulus is clearly one of the most heartbroken by his death.

- In contrast with often being very loud and energetic throughout most of his scenes, in this episode, Rhombulus will be a lot more quiet and spacey than usual, and not at all like his typical self. He’ll also be wearing his hood up, and might not even be there at the beginning.

- The little moment between Rhombulus and Star at the beginning will be a bit different in this rewrite and even more sad. Star will notice that Rhombulus is nowhere to be found. She sneaks out into the hallway and finds Rhombulus curled up under a table and staring at the wall with a blank expression on his face.

- She gets under the table with him and sits next to him. After a few seconds of silence, Rhombulus quietly says “I never even got to say goodbye,” before bursting into tears. Star offers him a hug, and he accepts. They sit together a bit as Rhombulus cries, and at some point says “I always told him that spell would get him killed someday, I just didn’t expect it to be so soon.” Star pats his head and says “I know,” not exactly sure how to comfort him.

- Rhombulus wipes his eyes before telling Star that she should probably go back in, and also that she should probably give the can to her dad, since River and Lekmet have been the only people who could eat those things. Star stands up and also asks if he’s coming, but Rhombulus says that he just needs another minute alone. Star tells him to take his time, then heads back in. The scene with the punch bowl then happens.

- Me: *Rereads this part*

Me: *Burst into tears*

I made myself sad, mates

- During “Stanger Danger”, Rhombulus does seem to be helping scan Star not just because of the fear of Eclipsa’s influence, but also out of legitimate concern. This can be shown in him saying things to try and reassure Star that they are here to help and also asking her if she’s sure that Eclipsa didn’t do anything bad to her.

- This is a similar case in “Monster Bash”, where Rhombulus appears both mad and also worried, but also occasionally forgets that he is supposed to be an adult.

- The rewritten scene: Rhombulus walks up to Star, who is sitting outside the Monster Temple with a blanket around her shoulders. “You are gonna be in a ridiculous amount of trouble when the rest of the Commission finds out about this, Star!” Star protests, saying they weren’t doing anything wrong, they were just having a party. Rhombulus fires back with “well we detected a huge surge of magic in the dungeon earlier, so someone must have been doing something they weren’t supposed to!” Star, remembering this, chuckles nervously at this and says “oh, yeah, that...I forgot about that...”

- (Continuation) Rhombulus sighs, exasperated and shouts with frustration “do you even know WHAT this place even IS?!” as he waves his arms around. Star sheepishly says “a fun place to throw parties?” Rhombulus forgets that he’s supposed to be angry and says “I mean, it used to be. Jushtin threw a few banquets here, and Festivia threw a pretty rad rave once...” He then remembers what he’s supposed to be scolding her, and says “BUT IT’S NOT FOR THROWING PARTIES ANYMORE, IT’S-!”

- (Cont.) He cuts himself off and stumbles to find out what to say next. He’s not supposed to say, and he’s not used to being the adult. “Well, it’s, um, actually, I’m not even authorized to tell you!” He then conspicuously whispers to her “that’s how bad it is!”

- (Cont.) Star deadpan asks “you don’t know what it is, do you?” Rhombulus gasps scandelously, and shouts “of course I know! I know more than anyone else what this place is for! It’s-” One of his snake tails cuts him off, and reminds him that he took an oath not to say. Rhombulus then says to Star “you see?! I had to take an oath not to say! That’s how serious it is!”

- (Cont.) Star looks kinda sad and embarrassed, and mutters “I just wanted to throw a party.” This makes Rhombulus feel bad, and he drops the act. “Look, Star,” he says “I know what you’re trying to do. But this kinda stuff isn’t going to help. Maybe do something a bit more contained and...authorized next time.” he pats her on the shoulder. I gotta clean some things up and do crime scene stuff. Stay here.”

- (Cont.) He turns to walk away before stopping and turning back to her again. “And call me if you need anything. I’m always around to talk about stuff.” He then walks off. The rest of the episode plays out the same as the original.

- “Total Eclipsa the Moon” shall be the same as canon.

- “Butterfly Trap” is honestly one of my favorite Rhombulus episodes (despite not being Rhombulus centric) and a very important one in his arc. This episode will also be the kickoff for his arc for the rest of the series. While not much about it will change, it will still be the start of a lot of change for him.

- First, let me just write a small mini-rant about how important this episode was to establishing his character in the OG show.

- This episode shows how Rhombulus has the strongest moral compass among the MHC, which makes sense since his powers involve him imprisoning people for their crimes, and he needs to have a strong sense of justice to do that. Much like a little kid, he has a somewhat black and white view of the world, and judges based on that line of thinking. So Star pointing out the MHC’s hypocricy makes him feel really guilty, and that’s pretty interesting to me. He also doesn’t make any excuses or shift blame, he just accepts his wrongdoing and feels guilty about it.

- IDK, it just showed how he actually follows through when he realizes something is wrong, and despite always acting very sure of himself, he’s the one most willing to admit that he might be wrong. This also seemed to be the start of some growth for him. He started out being quick to judge and overly sure of himself, to admitting that his judgement was wrong and that maybe he and the rest of the MHC should change. Ugh! I just love it!

- But anyways, onto the episode.

- A small, but important moment shall occur right before the trial starts. Because I decided to give him some ADHD energy and because I want to, I gave Rhombulus a few reoccurring stims that will appear throughout the episodes (they are there, I just didn’t mention them). One stim is grabbing onto and stroking his snakes when he’s nervous, similar to someone playing with their hair. The second is pulling his hood over his head when he’s embarrassed or guilty. The final is for when he wants to show someone something, he’ll repeatitively pat someone’s shoulder for their attention while bouncing from one foot to the other.

- He often is shown patting Lekmet’s shoulder for attention, and right before the trial starts, he notices something and is about to pat Lekmet’s shoulder, when he remembers that Lekmet isn’t here anymore, and he gets sad again. This will be important later.

- When the box asks who everyone has a crush on, Rhombulus will not say Queen Moon, because that feels weird. Instead, I think it would be interesting to change his answer to Queen Skywynne, as she was an adult when Rhombulus first met her, and he looked up to her a lot at the time. He’ll get slightly embarrassed, but only for a second.

- Throughout most of the trial, like the rest of the MHC, Rhombulus acts very accusatory.

- But when Eclipsa stares fawning over Globgor during Hekapoo’s question, Rhombulus stares for a second, before looking away and pulling his hood over his head. What does he feel embarrassed/guilty about?

- When his turn to ask a question comes, he quickly pulls down his hood and gets very accusatory again.

- When Eclipsa asks where Meteora is, Rhombulus will looked somewhat...panicked, and immediately pull his hood over his head. He actually won’t give an answer at first, merely looking away or tugging his hood further over his head.

- Just like in the episode, he’ll be the one to confess, and that whole part will stay the exact same. When Hekapoo says “what the heck, Rhombulus?!” his reply will be the same, but with a slight amount of frustration, and he might quietly add at the end, “besides, we shouldn’t have done what we did.” Hekapoo nearly responds to this, but is cut off by Eclipsa saying “tell me what happened.”

- For the rest of the scene, Rhombulus is quiet. He looks surprised when Moon and Star reveal that it was a trick, but before that, when the box does look at him, he makes eye contact with it before bowing his head in shame.

- So that was a pretty big episode. Anyways...

- I haven’t decided which episode this happens in, but at some point, there will be a small scene between Eclipsa and Rhombulus. Rhombulus slowly approaches Eclipsa while she’s alone and says he’s sorry about what he and the MHC did to her baby. Eclipsa carefully admits that she’s still a little bit upset about the whole thing, but she appreciates the apology.

- (Cont.) Rhombulus, noticing that she still looks pretty sad about it, tells her that “if it’s any comfort, we did send her somewhere very nice with a lovely lady whose whole job is to raise kids. Your daughter lived a very happy life. Probably.” Eclipsa thanks him for that, and Rhombulus admits that Eclipsa is a lot less intimidating than he remembered. Eclipsa is slightly surprised by this, and asks if he really found her intimidating. Rhombulus pauses at this, before quickly saying “anyways, bye!” and hurrying out the room.

- Okay, now, during “Divide”, when the MHC comes in to council Star, Rhombulus nearly protests against this, before pausing, and saying, “yeah, actually, that’s fair.” He doesn’t protest when Star makes them leave the room, only looking back sadly one last time before exiting.

- Later, when Marco gathers up a small force and invites Hekapoo, RHombulus comes along with her. This is to 1) add forshadowing for stuff, 2) give Rhombulus something to do because his powers can be pretty cool for fights, and 3) slightly flesh out Rhombulus and Hekapoo’s relationship dynamic a bit more.

- Marco asks who Rhombulus is, and Hekapoo quickly introduces the two of them to each other.

- When they finally see Meteora, Hekapoo asks Rhombulus if he can freeze Meteora. Rhombulus says that he’s not sure he can crystalize something that big. Hekapoo retorts that he’s crystalized bigger, but Rhombulus shoots back that it was in a much more confined space with less room for someone that big to run around in.

- They continue to argue before realizing that they need to fight Meteora since she’s coming straight for them.

- Cool fight scene ensues, yadda yadda yadda, but at some point, Rhombulus gets his soul sucked. Hekapoo seems extremely worried about him in particular, since she sees him as her little brother and also she didn’t really plan for him to come. Pretty sad, etc, etc.

Look, I just want to finish this post as fast as possible and have worked on it long enough. So yeah, this post is over, go back to the linked post at the top to get back to the masterlist and read Part 4 when it’s out. That one will be crazy.

5. Toru and Saya x/1999

Based on one single panel.

Yes, I’m shallow. But I seriously love this panel so much. Not only is it aesthetically beautiful, it evokes a very beautiful and gentle feeling in me.

I do feel like this panel is just so telling of how much they loved each other. And it’s also both a sort of a... prelude so to speak? to Kamui and Fuuma’s own fated bond and the tragedy at the core of said bond.

Wait... it was mutual between Toru and Saya, right?

4. Arashi and Sorata from x/1999

Cannot not mention arasora from x.

Yes, Arashi on top because we all know Sorata would totally be into Arashi tying him up and being used and abused by her. This is a canon fact and no one can change my mind.

They have an interesting thing going because of Sorata's fate and I can see why Arashi would have been annoyed about it in the beginning. Like... how do you decide to die for someone you just met? Talk about unrealistic tbh.

And yet... Sorata is so set on it!

The way I see them, I feel like with them the attraction was simply instantaneous. Something you can't deny sort of thing.

Sorata might have recognized it first, hence why he decided on her (I like to think that it isn't JUST because she's physically beautiful since CLAMP is all about soulmate bonds).

As for Arashi, since Arashi is the only one who can decide for herself that she wants to live, I think Sorata mirrored back to her her own will to live. Aside from how perceptive he is, I also think that this joy for life that is inherent of Sorata’s personality (we played this game before but I think he could be a Sagittarius) is how she learned to love him deeply.

Also, it's an irony that Sorata would be perfectly fine with accepting he would one day die for the woman he loves, while the woman he loves learned to have an "appetite" for life because of him.

UGH... CLAMP... ffs.

I was having a perfectly normal evening... ok let's go deeper into this hole of despair.

3. Fuuma and Kamui from x/1999

Listen but why are all these ships so damn tragic?

I definitively have problems.

Anyways.

Really tragic, really heartbreaking feels come out of fcking nowhere because of these two.

Idk how to explain how it, literally, offends me when I get the fuukam feels because they always come out of nowhere.

Like... no warning, no nothing.

What I love about this pairing in particular is that there is so much love between them in a very platonic way. It is a delight to see them navigate their inner conflict in relation to their fate and that is what makes their fate all the more heartbreaking.

Of course, I love the twin star motif because they are boud by inevitability to collapse into one another (this is so not scientific).

Of course the sexy scenes are a total delight to behold too.

It’s just who they are. Literally, two horny teens carrying the weight of the fucking apocalypse on their shoulders as they try to bring the other to their senses.

In the end, with them, I like to think we have a beautiful combination of really twisted eros and agape love.

Most beautiful of all is that Kamui would overlook Fuuma’s terrible haircut and love him unconditionally. If that isn’t true love, then I don’t know what is.

But while fuukam has an element of childhood friends to lovers that I absolutely adore...

I still have to say my next fave is one of my absolute favorite example of (childhood) friends to lovers.

2. Syaoran and Sakura from Cardcaptor Sakura and Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle

Why are they so cute tho?!

Watching them navigate their crush in Cardcaptor Sakura is actually one of the main reasons I am a massive CLAMP stan as, in a way, they were the gateway drug to my CLAMP addiction.

Even though I am not necessarily a CCS fan, I remember watching every CCS movie I could find just so I could watch them be cute together. When I found out about TRC I was excited to see CLAMP explore a slightly more mature and more tragic version of this OTP.

With syaosaku, the way I see them, it’s about the innocence of first love and the recognition that there’s someone who shines different from all of the other people around you. Or in CLAMP’s words, that most special person that’s totally not what they call it but I can’t think of the proper term right now.

With syaosaku, it’s about enduring puppy love. You know... when everything is simple “because you have feels” for each other. It’s undeveloped and innocent platonic love that can mature into something far more beautiful and enduring despite the many complications that may arise as they are bound to do.

I also love that even their respective clones are bound to fall in love with each other and that they choose each other time and time again and that’s part of what keeps them stuck in a time loop. Talk about being stupidly fated.

They’re adorbs. 12/10 recommend.

1. Kurogane and Fai from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle

I FUCKING LOVE THEM!

Ok like listen.

Where do I even start?

Ok. Yes. Here.

It’s all in what is not ducking said between these two.

With them, it’s always about something that happened off camera.

Kurogane looking shocked and sad instead of his usual “stoic warrior” or “tsundere” self also if I’m using tsundere incorrectly please don’t mind me apparently I can't get with the based program it’s just not sticking because Fai is giving him the faker than fake fakiest smile he’s ever given him to hide how pissed off and hurt he is about Kurogane not asking for consent.

But Kurogane is in so deep about how he feels about the blond magician twink blue-eyed pirate vampire and so... he’s not going to let him die even if it means he has to not ask for consent or... you know... cut off his arm.

And like...

Wow.

I’m totally digging Kurodaddy’s Capricorn energy. Very steadfast and driven, and very emotional.

I love Kurogane, he’s such a sexy daddy on all levels--his brains are my favorite of course.

And speaking of daddies and mommies...

Mommy is over there just doing his best to live, just to get through another day. He’s all smiles but Fai looks to me like he is trying really hard to be his usual genki self--the one that got stuck in that tower who knows how long ago.

The genki self that existed before all of the pain and sorrow that Nanase baked into his character she’s a total sadist and I love her all the more for it. In that sense, Fai is like Sei in that the line is blurred between their real personalities and who they pretend to be.

But in comes kurodaddy into his life and sees right through Fai’s bullshit because #sexybrain. I like to think he fell in love with the real Fai, of whom he got to see glimpses of.

Because it’s about the soul, right? Not the face Fai puts on for the world.

Anyways, so I love Fai’s character arc because it basically comes down to becoming who he was before the world broke his will to live. And Kurogane was a big part of Fai recovering that zest for life (he was drinking his blood ffs, how much more symbolical and metaphorical could CLAMP get with that?)

In the end, Fai couldn’t wait to be rescued to metaphorically leave the metaphorical tower behind, but rather, he had to rescue himself.

Seriously, CLAMP got super “Grim’s Brothers fairy tale” with Fai. Still need to write about it too.

All Kurogane could do was to watch from the sidelines, give him his Kurodaddy encouragement “shape-up-and-figure-out-where-you-stand” talks, and to cut off more limbs in the meantime.

So glad Fai figured out where he stands because trc could have ended with a limbless Kurogane because...

Which begs the very important question:

But, is it really true love if he didn’t put an eye on it? HM!

ANYWAYS, Kurogane persisted through all of this with Fai because he saw the real Fai.

I’ve 300% adored being able to see the friendship that is canonically depicted between them because you can tell they simply are good friends who care for each other’s well-being.

Ehem... that I think there’s more happening beneath the canonical surface is a different story.

In that way, kurofai feels so healing and so cathartic compared to seisub.

It’s such a breath of fresh air to see them heal one another for me. It’s like seeing these two souls who chose each other.

Honorary mention: Karen and Aoki

Ok. I felt like they would be such a boring choice tbh. I don’t feel for them the way I feel about that Toru and Saya panel so that’s why they get an honorary mention, but ultimately, don’t even make the list.

I just needed them to take up space between the other No1. in this list because...

1. Seishiro and Subaru from Tokyo Babylon and x/1999

They are fatedest of fated. The kind of fated you do not want to be.

But fated, nonetheless.

Tanabata might sound romantic af but... it gets old if this is your reality and you’re just constantly pinning and longing melodramatically all the time.

YES I’M TALKING TO YOU SUBARU!!!!!!

They are basically two worst possible circumstances that oppose one another. Twin stars bound to one another by inevitability.

One who does not realize he feels emotions because he is desensitized from his emotional self, but is deeply emotional nontheless (about the weirdest shit too, god I love him).

And one who is deeply emotional, kind and empathetic to an unhealthy degree.

Its just them and their complete, absolute and incredibly irrational inability to meet in the middle.

WHY CAN’T THEY JUST BE NORMAL?! (rhetorical question)

It is truly heartbreaking that they only ever see “eye to eye” , true to their archetype of the fated lovers celebrated during tanabata, once in a lifetime. More on this in a bit...

And with them, you get this tiny glimpse of what could have been if the circumstances in their life had not been what they were.

DON’T YOU DARE GASLIGHT ME SEISHIRO, I AM ONTO YOU!!!

God I love him so much I want to strangle him.

All of this said, I have to say I admire how CLAMP created a depiction of the tanabata myth that presents the reason for the relationship as not actualizing itself because of circumstances that made the situation toxic on steroids.

And that’s what makes it all the more heartbreaking to me--they were truly each other’s “special someone” but were bound by fate to never become an actualized version of themselves that could ground the relationship down to human levels.

Their “love story" remained as one written in the stars--tanabata. It never became human and never will because, unlike kurofai, Seishiro and Subaru are stuck in a level of object relations that dictates how they see each other in relation to themselves.

THEY ARE SO STUPID, WHY CAN’T THEY JUST BE NORMAL?!

That’s why kurofai takes spot 1 along with them. I like the idea of healing in relationship with someone else instead of knowingly activating a curse that you knew would kill you just so that you could prove him wrong and settle the bet once and for all about how much you really don’t love him even tho you totally know that you do but are still trying to deny that reality right until your last breath.

DAMMIT SEISHIRO WHY ARE YOU SO WEIRD?!

I love him.

I’m obsessed.

Anyways. Subaru. Run!

I know I’ve complained about them the whole time but... I can’t deny the fact that seeing someone else at a soul level is an intense experience that I find very relatable.

Like I said, they did share something.

Maybe I’m projecting but I think they shared some really, really deep middle ground and that there was some sort of ease and understanding they had with each other at a soulful level.

They just couldn’t bridge that soul bond and ground it in their human selves for a hundred million stupid many reasons.

Which is how you end up with the most twisted “romantic” gesture in all of history this statement has been verified by all fact checkers.

FFS these two are so sick and so twisted and I love them all the more for it because they just cannot help themselves when it comes to the other--and that inevitable and unexplainable attraction at the soul level is what this ship is made of.

Unrealized human potential.

Stupid. so stupid. I love them your honor.

Ah, and season 3 of The Owl House begins with an excellent opener. Thanks to Them is out! And despite the fact that no one asked, you get to listen to my thoughts anyway, o mysterious readers of the void. Spoilers - I had a lot of thoughts. Also spoilers - this post is about TOH S3 premiere, Thanks to Them. Don’t read further if you haven’t seen it yet.

First off, the opening sequence was a great reminder of where we were coming into S3, and extends the rain scene enough to give us a sense of how it becomes the post time skip status quo. Speaking of, watching the kids be normal teenagers in the human realm is fantastic, and I love that they’ve gotten quite a bit closer with time. The Owl House has always been good at working within time restraints to still give us the stuff needed to properly tell the story, and this time skip is no exception.

I also love the dive into Luz and Hunter’s relationship Were I to sum their relationship in this episode up, they sometimes enable each other’s worst impulses, but they’re also there for each other’s darkest moments. It’s a satisfying place for them to end up after the relationship building they went through over S2. They’ve both seen the other at their worst, and then decided, grudgingly at first but more readily over time, that they won’t judge each other for it, and that they like each other despite it. They end up as confidants and family by this episode, as verbally confirmed by Luz, and it’s just sweet to see these two care about each other.

And then there’s the dirty goop boy himself, Mr. Phillip “Belos” Wittebane. Still devoted to his plan of witch genocide to save the souls of humanity, and still being a manipulative asshole to just about everyone. He’s certainly hit a low point here - he carries very little of the gravitas and intimidation that he had in seasons 1 and 2, but I don’t terribly mind it. He’s still vindictive, manipulative, and sadistic, despite his reduced power. However, what I do mind is the buildup for him, which segues nicely into my last point.

Ah Disney, you fools. Despite all the positives of this episode, one glaring flaw is evident, and that is this feels like it was supposed to be a full season. No slander intended to Dana and her team, the episode is fantastic full stop. But it’s clear that both the relationships between the main cast and the looming threat of Belos were supposed to be a much more gradual buildup. What we do have ends up feeling a bit rushed - I would have loved to see Amity and Willow rekindle their relationship, Hunter slowly come out of his shell, Vee and Luz explore their new” relationship as sisters, and so much more. It also would have been awesome to get Belos as a creeping horror slowly making himself more and more known, until he finally appears at the mid season finale for S3, possessing Hunter and escaping back to the demon realm. Disney really squandered a lot of potential with this, and I’ll probably be mad about it forever.

Still, no fun going out on a downer note - so I’ll talk about my favorite part of this episode: CAMILA NOCEDA! Hot damn, I knew I was gonna love her as soon as the teaser, and boy my expectations were blown outta the water! Steps right up to hosting six (SIX) teenagers in her house, immediately tries to make them feel like they’re at home, is as patient and kind with her daughter as she can be, watches her daughter and friends fight an honest to god demon (in an excellently animated fight scene btw), and then decides “Uh uh, my daughter is not fighting that alone, I’m going with her to the demon realm, and I’m taking my bat!” What a badass! Man, I am excited for Camila to explore the Demon Realm, meet Eda and the rest, and open a gigantic can of whoop ass on Belos with her bat. See you all for the next episode!

Yoongi Experience + Update

So this was the post where I was going to tell you guys about how much I enjoyed Yoongi’s show and I might have a quick oneshot in the works because I got inspo because that’s my husband and he was so hot tonight, but well things didn’t go my way yesterday… or today really 🙃 I will be sparing with details but we were on our way to Newark but our train was delayed so badly to the point we arrived after the show ended (we were supposed to get there at 5 btw— 5 hours behind). We were literally stuck at a station for hours (it was probably around 4:30 ish when we got there (our train was already delayed so it wasn’t a big deal)) because of apparent “police activity” ahead. They didn’t tell us anything and we had to wait there for 2 hours because of sumn mysterious. I was already getting worried, but it was around 6ish when we started moving again from the station so I was like cool— we’ll have to rush, might miss the beginning but we’ll get there. Well we were stuck again in who knows where for hours, probably 3 maybe, and we couldn’t get off the train so we had to sit there as time ticked away and I watched the concert start without us there. Literally the worst experience ever and I broke down pretty bad— there were other armys on the train and yeah, the mood was just horrible. So yeah, by the time we got there, just picture us coming off the train and the station was filled with all the army’s going home from the show. If that ain’t my 13th reason right there this morning too our train back home had mechanical issues so we had to wait in the cold for a while before we had to catch a different train (3 hours and nearly 30 minutes behind schedule). I was supposed to be back at school already, prepping for my last few days of classes before I needed to grind on my final projects and studying for exams, but I’m still here at home. Anyway all this to say is that I’ve been having a very shitty time these past few days (I’ve went through the 5 stages of grief like 100 different times) but I’m still trying to come to terms with the fact that the delay was out of my hands and involved a very unfortunate accident, as much as I’ve cried there’s nothing I can do about it :’). I’ll be busy up till… the end of next week maybe so with everything going on I can’t promise I’ll get too much writing done until my break starts… I’m nearly done with the chapter I’ve been grinding, finishing up the smut scene and just a little plot to add at the end then I’ll finally be able to get out those oneshots that I’ve teased on my Progress Page (hint hint please check it out if you haven’t already)! I hope to do a lot of writing this summer and also get that special project out by the end of the summer (maybe? it at least should be completed and ready for beta feedback if not)! I’ll be back with more updates probably after I come home for good and I don’t have school stuff to think about~

tl/dr: Train got delayed to the point I ended up missing the Newark show (been crying my eyes out) 🙃 On the last leg for the semester and will be pretty busy and won’t be able to write for the next two weeks— hope to get started as soon as my break starts on those oneshots I teased on the Progress Page!

Wednesday Rant (sorry, I didn’t like it)

Disclaimer: These are just my opinions, and where I reach most of my initial impressions of what the characters should be like from the 1964 tv series, and the 1991 movies so if I’m missing facts then that’s why. I may say these opinions as fact but that’s just how I talk remember it’s just opinions.

Ok good, now that that’s out of the way, the casting is pretty crap, Morticia is boobilicious but not tasteful, which is very important for her character. Gomez and Pugsley look right but even tho Gomez is supposed to be kinda ugly there was already a precedent of 1991 Gomez that set the bar high so it was a little disappointing. He is the best cast. Wednesday smiles too much, and talks to much, and Thing isn't supposed to be stitched together he's a horrible monster who's only saving grace is his human looking hand it doesn't need to be stitched together also Thing should've used sign language bc it would've been cute. Jericho is a stupid town name, Nevermore is a stupid school name. Wednesday not liking her parents is very out of character what's even more out of character is the implication that Morticia and Gomez are trying to make her like them. Excuse me have you ever met the Addams family the whole gimmick is that they support their kids to be whoever they want. Fester was a disappointment he looks too human, not dead enough. Platform shoes on Wednesday was weird. I felt so bad for Xavier because his actor was specifically cast because he kind of looks like the Hyde, yk to further complicate things and make the audience feel like they absolutely got it. Totally cheesy that Mr. Normie Tyler is actually the Hyde, and totally stupid that Wednesday has a love interest. She says at the beginning that she doesn't want one and then low and behold he ends up having 2. The inhaler guy at the beginning was an obvious callback to Wednesday's love interest in Addams Family Values, that romance actually worked because he wooed her with his allergies, not his charms. The principal shouldn't have died, that whole scene was unnecessary if the principal didn't believe Wednesday why would she go along with another scheme?? Enid is sweet but a doormat, instead of her coming back to Wednesday, Wednesday should've gone to Enid to apologize properly. The dance scene would've been fantastic if Tyler was into it, dancing with her, smiling at her, anything, but he was just standing there awkwardly and like, that’s not someone who should be a love interest in any setting. If you’re being goofy, or doing your best, or whatever at something, your partner should be enthusiastic about said thing. He’s smiling but less in a “oh my god she’s so cute” kinda way and more in a “wtf is she doing help” kind of way. Teens can't act, we already knew that this is just another example, the Jericho thing with the pilgrims was so stupid bc they already were pushing the modern day thing but then had such outdated, old fashioned ideologies??

The romance that people want to happen between Enid and Wednesday would be cute on the surface but kind of toxic when you delve deeper because Wednesday just doesn’t think about people in that way. I don’t know how to describe it without making it out like Wednesday is an asshole, she’s not, or at least, not on purpose? Does that help? Also Enid has that medusa guy (which by the way doesn’t make sense because medusa doesn’t have any descendants unless you how the flying boar and horse that come out of her severed neck) and they seemed pretty okay together despite starting out a little rocky; btw they never explain how he becomes unstonified it just happens and we’re meant to accept it.

I don’t know how there could be a season 2 other than the fact that people like the show so they’re going to make another season. Wish that happened for other shows, yk, like GLTAS, Young Justice, even Pantheon hasn’t been promised a second season despite it being so damn good. I’m salty about that but it has nothing to do with what I disliked about the show.

And much more, I don't remember nearly enough about the show because it was so unremarkable.
