In my ongoing quest to befriend the local crows I sidled up to one outside the place I get my tasty bacon sandwiches. I tossed a peanut and it screamed and I instantly had a murder swooping all around me as I walked to my car.
It was probably the most badass I’ve ever felt in a parking lot to stand at the center of a shrieking crownado.

Three sisters for the faces of the Mother.
In acowar, we learned that three stones represent the faces of the Mother in scrying (which is what some do to access magical sight, like seers):
The three Archeron sisters seem to represent the three faces of the Mother like the sacred sister peaks.
As the first face of the Mother, Feyre healed the Cauldron and the rip in the world with Rhysand’s mighty magic.
As the second face of the Mother, Nesta healed Feyre and Nyx with the Trove.
[…]
[…]
And as the third face of the Mother, Elain is perfectly poised to heal Wyrd and her sacred land in body and spirit with her gentle, gardener hands. Like the green hands cupping the lake in the healing land.
Where ordinary faeries who prefer solitude still dwell. Where the heart of the land slumbers.
Where the mountains watched and the rivers guided Nesta to the source of healing.
An earthen mirror of the gardener, whose iron crown from Wyrd is covered in sleeping buds. Her sweet and delicate scent—a promise of spring, a sparkling river—even guides Nesta to the source.
Elain, glowing with health. Warm and bright and lovely just like the pure life in healing magic. ✨

Did y'all know I have a pair of absolutely ancient jeans that I use as an embroidery canvas.
No, you didn't, because turns out I've apparently never shared my Layton or Encanto patches on here I guess??
Well, I made a Welcome Home patch on them!! My buddy was kind enough to help me take some pics wearing it while I was in town today.
What symbols for which characters under the hood :)
Wally: apple, eye, his lil face!
Barnaby: his pawprint and his hat
Julie: pink and purple flowers
Frank: their tie, butterflies (plus hearts)
Eddie: a multicoloured letter (plus hearts)
Howdy: a caterpillar
Poppy: the little wings she draws next to her signature, and a cupcake
Sally: Stars!
Having more things dedicated to a specific character doesn't have any significance, it just means I had more ideas for them or they fit nicest to fill in a space haha

redrawing some of my favs to battle my sadness caused by yj:t seems to be counterproductive, but fuck it i just want more emotions for wally's funeral TToTT
dick's apperance literally broke my heart, cause it only just fucking hit him full force. his best friend is gone. and all those pent up emotions come flooding out
artemis' made me so sad, because she looks so lost and afraid, and I bet she spent most of her time from Antartica up to funeral in a daze
barry literally can't look at the grave, he seeks comfort in iris and im QnQ
bart doesnt cry, because he is no stranger to loosing people he cares about, but he is sad and so tired of it
perdita's words about kid flash/wally being something of a security blanket grabbed me by a throat and won't let go, because with him gone how scared and vulnerable and sad must she feel???

Contemplating the possibility that Phoebe isn’t just inviting Jamie to Uncle’s Day on the innocent assumption that obviously Roy must want his best friend there, but is rather trying her young hand at a tiny bit of naive nudging. After all, she’s seen her uncle “being stupid with Keeley before, initiating a break-up even when it’s painfully clear that he still loves her, which leads Phoebe to the (not exactly wrong) conclusion that Roy can’t be fully trusted to manage and maintain his relationships properly. (She wouldn’t put it like that, of course, she’s still a little kid. Then again, she’s precocious as all hell, so maybe she would.)
Like, Roy spends every day with Jamie and talks about him a lot and it is obvious that they’re best friends, but Phoebe isn’t completely sure that it’s obvious to Roy, so yeah, she’ll help him out, same way he’s always helped her, ‘cause everyone needs a bit of a hand once in a while, right, and he’s her uncle Roy and he deserve all the good things and a best friend, even though he’s too stubborn and stupid to see that sometimes.
Don’t worry, Uncle Roy. Phoebe’s got your silly head covered.

thinking about just how likely it is that Batman was the only person Harley told about having suicidal thoughts whilst in Arkham in Detective Comics #831
"I was seriously considering hanging sheets from the light in my cell and doing the maximum checkout when I heard this voice..."
Detective Comics #831
and how he knew when she strapped that bomb to herself in Batman (2016) #100 that he had to go after her because she was going let herself die in an attempt to end Joker's rampage for good but that she refused to physically do it because he didn't want to her Kill him and he told her that so she's found a middle ground
"We don't need to end it this way. He needs to be locked back up."
that she'd rather die than keep living with his presence in the world haunting her, haunting Them.
That if he did choose Joker, she wasn't going to disarm the bomb herself.
"Honey. You're talking to the wrong girl if you think he's not dangerous locked up in Arkham. It's like I said. That's not good enough for me. Not anymore."
the way he yells for her as she leaves.
"You're only going to get to one of us in time, Bats. Who's it going to be?"
"Harley!"
the way the two men stare at each other in the way they have so many times before, in those moments when Joker stayed or prioritized their fight over her. the way he knew Joker loved the thrill of it all and thought it was funny, thought there was No way Batman would leave him and that this game had to end as according to the rules. And that Batman would do so, he would follow the rules and save him. The way he immediately assumed Batman would choose him, choose his life and choose to stay and disarm the bomb.
And how Batman didn't do that. How Batman walked away from him, leaving him to die or escape or whatever, because He was choosing Harley and her safety and prioritizing her life over him.
The way he stared him in the eyes before choosing the woman Joker had always left to die over him. The way that it was always Him, it was never a question if he would choose Batman over her, but when faced with that type of scenario, Joker is the one that gets left behind to die.
The way she literally woke up in the hospital instead of them having a scene just outside after he removed it. because she didn't intend to live in one of the two options. the way the bomb probably did go off to some capacity because you don't just end up in the hospital knocked out for a week.
Him saying that he's glad she's okay, after everything they've been through, this war and Everything else. and the way he didn't brush off her concern
"I'm glad you're okay."
"Are you?"
"I had to bury my father again today. I did it with my family."
i just, i can't,,,,, i cant

the red camellia is undeniably soukoku's flower to me. they bloom in the cold, through snow and winter chill. they're at their most beautiful in the harshest conditions when everything else is dormant or dead. they're a symbol of perseverance and strength and passion. but at the end of the line, they 'behead' themselves when they die, refusing to drop petal by petal, choosing to go when they're still beautiful, refusing to compromise the rest of the tree by rotting on the branch.
