you cant just say how cowboy konig is lowkey a stalker in your tags without expounding on it. ELABORATE PLEASE RRAAAGGHHH (affectionately)
More Nasty boy, he's so dreamy, I'm unwell.
König hears you swear over the receiver, loud and visceral as you drop whatever you were holding. He'd been having a lovely morning with you, he wondered what happened. He glances out his kitchen window as he listens to you hustle around and slam your door. Oh good, Honey jumped her fence again. He smiles a little to himself and grabs his bandana, switching the receiver off to go retrieve her.
"Honey please," You whine after her, "Please be good just this once." She hops excitedly, just bouncing with joy at her naughtiness. She's not even waiting for you to catch up to her, a much more difficult feat due to last night's rain. She's going to twist her ankle or something, and you really can't deal with her dramatics a second time in so many days.
You're starting to see the drafts meandering the pasture, and you really hope she isn't going to try bothering them again. You both see it at the same time when she books it towards König's house. You groan seeing the man himself just coming out his front door. Honey jumps another fence to greet him. He holds his hand out for her and she snuffles it, letting him pet her like she's the most docile horse in the world. Horrible, wicked, spiteful creature.
You continue tramping through the mud to retrieve your stupid shitty horse, pouting and miserable. König coaxes Honey back into pasture and starts leading her towards you. You were really hoping not to see him, you're not exactly dressed to see the guy you're crushing on. Your boot sticks in the mud and you fall flat into a big puddle, barely catching yourself on your hands and knees. The splash sprays you with muddy water and you figure this is just perfect.
König's hands slip under your arms and pick you up, this is really becoming a habit. He looks like he's trying not to laugh, sounds like it too when he asks, "Are you alright, Schatz?" You both look down at the mud covering your front before he sets you safely away from the puddle and recovers your stuck boot.
"God," You groan, shaking the mud off your hands, "I swear I am not this much of a mess." König hums, he knows you are, he's heard you. It's cute, you need someone like him looking after you.
"It's fine, I don't mind helping." He tells you, giving your boot a good shake to dislodge the mud. He crouches down to help you slip it back on. "Let's get you cleaned up," He says as he stands, nodding his head in the direction of his house.
"Oh, no, no I couldn't impose." You tell him quickly, holding up your hands to wave off the idea. König shrugs.
"No imposition, my house is closer, you are dirty, my shower is your shower." You hesitate, something smart in your stomach warning you against taking up strange men on offers like this. Then again, König has really been nothing but nice and helpful to you. It's really the squirmy gritty feeling of mud sticking to you through your shirt that makes up your mind.
König gives you a bag to put your dirty clothes in, lends you a spare shirt and some shorts(both of which are way too big for you), he's even kind enough to show you how the shower works and point out the lock before he leaves you in his tidy bathroom. This is some real fucking southern hospitality from a man who is absolutely not southern. It makes the butterflies in your stomach all the worse that he's so nice.
-
"I'll wash everything and give it back," You tell him, sitting at his kitchen table with a cup of coffee between your hands. You feel so warm and soft, just swimming in his shirt, you're trying to extend some hospitality of your own.
"No rush," He tells you, leaning back against the kitchen counter, "I'm just trying to be neighborly." Besides he's already collected payment in the form of your panties. Neatly swiped from your bag of dirty clothes and stuffed in his pocket for later. You really are too sweet for your own good.
"What's this?" You ask, fingers pressing the switch on the receiver on the table. Static fills the kitchen. König leans to switch it off, it's just dead air without your voice filling it.
"An old radio, I've been trying to fix it without any luck I'm afraid."

🗒️'I Wanna Hear Everything ☁︎,📎
collage!ellie ⭑ reader
noties: ellie is anxious & overwhelmed, swearing, angst and fluff w/ happy ending i promise !!
It was exam season and as much as Ellie didn't want to own up to it, she was extremely overwhelmed. No matter how many hours of sleep she missed out on or how many times she attempted to revise, as an astronomy major she couldn't wrap her head around ‘planetary formation’. She severely wanted to call it quits and just drop out but she knew that feeling was momentarily so she urged on.
Ellie had been studying for what felt like all of eternity when she heard a familiar five knocks on her door. You and Ellie had a little code when you’d knock on eachothers dorms. Five knocks the two of you had decided, Ellie had suggested the number five because that's the month you mutually confessed your feelings for eachother, May. She hopped up from her cluttered desk deciding that she did in fact need a break.
“Ellieeeee!!” you greeted her as she opened the door, “Hey baby, what brings you here?” “Just wanted to see you.” You shrugged. You sat comfortably at the edge of her bed, her room was a mess. She seemed to notice the way you looked around her room “Yeah yeah I know m’ gonna clean it as soon as my exams are over.” “ok ok” you giggled, snuggling into her side. “So what have you been up to today Bug?”
“Yeah so then…Ellie? Ellieeee?” you said, “Shit sorry, m’ just tired.” Her sorry sounding insincere. “Alright so then, Ellie are you even listening?” Ellie then looks at you, eyebrows furrowed, “Oh my god can you please stop harassing me for two minutes!” she partially yells, you suddenly go quiet, she sighs. Once she hears sniffing and looks up at you trying to hide your face as it starts to go red. “Shit baby m’ so fucking sorry please don't cry, shit. Look at me baby”. She knows you are sensitive and regrets not thinking before she spoke. She looks at the tears that are starting to stream down your cheeks, That’s when the guilt of what she said hits her like a ton of bricks. You slowly begin to get up from your current position “I- I should go '' you manage to choke out, still trying to hide your face and glassy eyes full of more tears threatening to fall at any given moment. You pick up your bag and she gently grabs your arm. “Bug I am so so so sorry m’ promise I didn’t mean it.” You look at her, tears still sliding down your rosy cheeks and at that moment she feels like she could cry as well.
You pull your arm out of Ellie’s grasp and she doesn’t react, she just stands there red in the face from the amount of embarrassment and guilt she’s experiencing from ever speaking to you like that. You both have argued before but she never raised her voice at you like that before.
Once you’ve reached your dorm, you look in the mirror to see your smeared mascara and the remaining tears stuck to your scarlet cheeks, you feel pathetic. You can’t shake the fact that you had started sobbing over a stupid comment Ellie made, sure you’ve cried in front of her a multitude of times but it was never like this, this time felt different and that’s what had upset you the most.
smelly ellie ⁉️ (2 missed calls) 2:46 pm
Ellie pretended to hate it but she secretly found it kinda cute. When Ellie first noticed her contact name in your phone she acted all offended. “Smelly Ellie? That’s not fair, yours is bugs with a heart! Okay now I have to change it to smelly Y/n!” “Noooo Ellie that doesn’t rhyme” you whined while giggling.
You sighed when you saw that she left a voice message, you played it in your ear. “Baby m’ so fucking sorry y’ know I didn’t mean it please come back so I can apologise properly in person.” The recorded message spoke through your phone.
You put your phone onto your nightstand, you knew you were being stubborn but you also couldn’t help not feeling like a burden. You felt a twinge in your stomach when you realised you had an essay on an artist of your choice for your art class due next week which was going to be worth 60% of your final grade. You had heavily procrastinated this assignment because you had no idea where to even start.
you closed your laptop due to you noticing 4 new notifications on your phone.
smelly ellie ⁉️ (4 new messages) 4:22 pm
smelly ellie ⁉️: baby i'm so so sorry please message or call me back
smelly ellie ⁉️: bugs answer
smelly ellie ⁉️: baby I am really sorry you know I didn’t mean it
smelly ellie ⁉️: bug?
You wanted to respond but you didn't know what to say, you felt equally as bad and embarrassed by what had happened, and you wanted to make up with Ellie but you didn’t know where to start.
You felt guilty not responding but you decided to sleep it off and perhaps your response would come to you in a dream. Ellie knew you didn’t like confrontation as you were quite sensitive and Ellie had known all that yet she still unnecessarily yelled at you and Ellie didn’t know how to make you feel better except apologising profusely.
You had awoken from your nap by 5 soft knocks on your door, you tiredly sat up preparing yourself for this conversation before opening the door.
Once you opened the door you saw Ellie standing in the hallway, she immediately threw her arms around you pulling your body into hers tightly. She released the both of you from the embrace and cupped your cheeks.
“Bug I am so so sorry” she rambled “it’s okay Ell-“ she cut you off “love you more then anything y’ know that, would never mean t’ hurt you.” She explained “I love you too, and I’m sorry for overreacting” you said looking down, cheeks flushed. “no no you didn’t overreact, m’ stupid, said a stupid thing.” She kissed you nose. “m okay I forgive you” once you finished what you were saying you looked up at her, and she kisses the side of your still pink cheeks, “okay now can you please tell me what you were talking about before” she looks at you hopeful, “hm you sure?” You question, “yes bug, wanna hear everything.”
This was my first proper fic!! please let me know what you think <3

How do you get to sleep? You appear to sleep about as much as me which isn’t very much. How do you get the brain to calm its jets?
I'm not sure where you're getting information on how much I sleep, maybe from me posting late? I get 8.5 most nights from 1am to 9:30am. I don't really have trouble falling asleep these days, so I don't know how much this will help, but here are the things that have made sleep easy for me:
having a consistent wake-up schedule. Sleeping regularly for me isn't so much about when I go to bed so much as when I wake up. If I wake up around the same time every day, I get tired around the same time -- naps and sleeping in are just personally very depressing and throw me out of wack.
having a consistent life schedule. Before I got a full-time job and was stuck freelancing and adjuncting, my sleep schedule was a mess. But the moment I had a consistent place to be every morning at the same time, everything fell into place for me. Now my office is remote, so times don't matter so much, but I've stuck to a regular wake-up schedule anyway.
I quit caffeine. It's incredibly easy for me to wake up because I am not experiencing caffeine withdrawal every morning. It's easy to fall asleep because I don't have a lingering caffeine buzz. I love decaf as a ritual, but I can hop out of bed and hit the pavement without anything and be fine all day.
I don't workout or apply testosterone gel at night, and I avoid annoying work tasks at night. Anything that will get my blood pumping and my energy through the roof.
Your usual sleep hygiene: nothing in bed other than reading a book, blackout curtains, earplugs at the ready if the neighbors get noisy, and a stuffed animal to press against my body.

It is that time of the year where I start to do my annual review of the games I have played for the year. I made it sound like I have tons of annual reviews but in truth, I only did one which was last year...
Tumblr media
(GIF Source: Imgur thru' Google Image Search)
Ahem, anyway, unlike last year where I categorised my games according to the platform which I played them on, I am going to categorise them as Completed, Currently Playing, and Anticipating. It makes more sense this way, doesn't it?
Obviously, I won't be putting all into one post because that would make it too long. I have also linked the two other posts to the respective titles above so you can just hop over to the other posts if you don't wish to read this one.
Now that's settled, on to the Completed list of games for 2023!
1️⃣ A Little to the Left
Tumblr media
(Picture Source: Nintendo thru' Google Image Search)
A Little to the Left is one of the top cozy and organising games during the Covid period and it has excellent reviews on Steam. The only complain many players had with the game is the "unjustified" price tag for the game.
The game revolves around a couple attempting to organise and keep their house tidy but their cat, being a cat, would mess things up. Each level in the game will give you some form of satisfaction after re-organising or solving the puzzles. Of course, you will have their cat coming to mess things up occasionally.
The levels are doable but there are some that are really tricky. Many of you who may wish to play it would definitely want to solve the levels yourselves, but trust me, there are some that are so tricky that I had to google the answer.
But if you are insistent on trying to solve it yourself without any help, then here are a couple of tips. First, you can skip the level you are stuck at and go back to it at the end. I am not sure what is the control function on Switch, but if you are playing on PC, you can open the menu by pressing the ESC key and select the "Let It Be" option to move on to the next level. There is no time limit, so you can take your time to try and solve those puzzles at your own time.
Second, observe every single feature in the level, especially for those which has multiple solutions. Some are easy to solve, such as arranging it into ascending or descending order, or by colours and the like. But it is usually starting from the second solution that is tricky. The tip here is to observe every single feature in the level. Take for example, the leaves at the bottom picture below.
Tumblr media
(Picture Source: A Little to the Left Wiki Fandom thru' Google Image Search)
At first glance, you would have guessed that the solution is by the colours. Congrats, you got your first solution, but there are more solutions to discover in this level. You will need to observe every thing in this level. Since the first solution is by colour, what else can you do to solve it? Is it by the leaf shape? Or by the length of the stems?
This is just one of the many levels that is designed as such. It may be liberating for some but there are those who may rage at not being able to figure out solution. My suggestion is to not be afraid to google the answer.
If you like to watch the gameplay of A Little to the Left, I have uploaded some videos onto my YouTube channel. The link will direct you to the playlist of the gameplay I have recorded and uploaded.
2️⃣ Death's Door
Tumblr media
(Picture Source: Nintendo thru' Google Image Search)
Death's Door took me almost half a year to complete though the game system said that I only spent slightly over 20 hours to complete...
Anyway, this game talks about this crow that just got a job at the Reaper's Commission, and was assigned his first job. He successfully completed it but got his assigned soul stolen by another crow who has been trapped for years. Our crow chased after the older crow only to witness him sending our assigned soul to a long and large black door, to which the older crow explained that he had to do it in order for him to get his own assigned soul back. Unfortunately, the door did not budge and the older crow asked our crow for help to reap three other large souls to be used to open the door. Our crow reluctantly agreed to help.
The story of Death's Door is simple to follow as long as you pay attention to the dialogue. If not, you can just go google the story. Otherwise, the game mechanics, the UI and controls are all very simple. The only thing that may have you pulling your hair roots out is the battle.
Now, I am more of a casual player but am willing to try such games. I thought it was probably because my dodging skills was horrible but the online guide which I follow has a disclaimer at the homepage of the game guide that said you will die in battle a few times before achieving victory. Alas, it wasn't because of my dodging skills (it still sucks) but that the game was created in such a way.
Of course, it is not impossible to win the battle on the first try, but that the chances of it is quite low; I guess you could say it is a once in a blue moon effort.
If you are interested in trying the game, here are a few advice, not exactly tips, that if you allow me to give.
Firstly, don't be afraid to experiment. The thing about this game is that although the game mechanics and controls are the same for all, there are different playstyles that each player is accustomed to. Some probably swing their weapon like a maniac while some do it with a strategic calculation. Apart from that, there are also weapons you can collect throughout the gameplay, each with varying degrees of damage output. I have seen a player on YouTube use an umbrella to battle. That umbrella's damage output is only 0.5 (the sword assigned to you at the start of the game is 1). However, it seems to work for him, which kinda emphasizes my point here.
Secondly, and those most important advice here, is that surviving is more important than attacking. The boss battles, be it mini bosses or final bosses, including the Avarice, can be frustrating. It is at those points in the game where you will die countless times. Often times you may see an opportunity to attack but it could also be your demise. My suggestion is to dodge more and attack less. Sure, the battle will be dragged longer but it will increase your chances of survival better.
Tumblr media
(Picture Source: EIP Gaming thru' Google Image Search)
Thirdly, you don't need necessarily need to achieve 100% completion rate to complete the game. The 100% completion rate is by levelling up your spells, visiting every shrine, and making sure that all pots are planted with a life seed.
While power ups and having a handy potted life seed is good, it is not necessarily needed to complete the game experience. It is possible to complete the game without any of those. Even so, I would still suggest trying to go for it because it will make your battle a tad bit easier to deal with, especially the fire spell (levelling up your fire spell will make your enemies experience continued burning damage after you throw a fire ball at them).
Final advice is to explore every nook and cranny of the map. There aren't any treasure chest with loads of goodies for you to collect, but because there may be some mass souls that you can pick up and exchange it at the vault in the Reaper's Commission for levelled up attack power.
While Death's Door was fun, I don't think I would go back to play it again because of the battle mechanics. It is really very frustrating which could prompt you to lose your interest in the game. However, it is also quite worth losing a few hairs.
3️⃣ Pokemon Scarlet
Tumblr media
(Picture Source: Nintendo thru' Google Image Search)
I'd be honest here. At the time of writing, I have yet to complete the game. I am very confident that I could get past the Area Zero with ease but it is the Pokemon League that has me worried. My sister who completed the Violet version a long time ago advised me to level up as many different types of Pokemon as possible before I tackle the Pokemon League.
I have a feeling that this game would very well run over into 2024, but I am not willing to put this game under the 2024 annual review since I am currently near to the end of the story. Moreover, I won't be able to play DLC because my country strangely does not support the e-shop.
Anyway, just like any other Pokemon game (to my knowledge because this is the first of such for me), you are an aspiring trainer ready to take your first big step into the world of Pokemon like Ash Ketchum, except in the Scarlet and Violet version, you got to attend the Pokemon Academy. But, of course, the whole purpose of a Pokemon game is to go out, explore, and catch Pokemon, which will be given to you after a few semesters in the Academy (time skip).
There are three quests for you to take (not optional). The first is the usual Pokemon League quest where you need to tackle the gyms located throughout Paldea. The second quest is helping Arven with his Mabosstiff by battling Titan Pokemon and acquiring some mystical herb. The third quest is to help Cassiopeia take down Team Star. All three are important quests to take on because they are located all over the Paldea region. If you are unsure of the order to go with, you can refer to this guide.
However, if you don't wish to tackle all at once, that my suggestion is to go for the Titan Pokemon quest first. The reason being is because after defeating each Titan Pokemon, your Koraidon, or Miraidon in Violet version, will acquire important skills beneficial to exploring Paldea. Afterwords, you can tackle both the Gym and Team Star together if you wish.
One thing I did to make my game experience smoother is to level up my Pokemon as high as I could. That's because I needed stronger Pokemon to battle the tougher Titan Pokemon. In order to do so, I went Tera Raiding, but that can also prove to get boring very easily.
Tumblr media
(Picture Source: IGN thru' Google Image Search)
The big headache for this game is trying to find which Pokemon is best to keep and which is best to release. Of course, the usual strong Pokemon like Garchomp, Dragonite, Tyranitar and the like, are the top choices. But you will still need a wide selection of different types of Pokemon. The easiest way is to get hybrid types, such as Dragonite being a Dragon and Flying type.
Another way is to get the tera types. So, for example, you may encounter a Vaporeon (water type) with an electric tera version. However, the disadvantage of it is that in order to utilise the tera version, you will need to terastalize your Pokemon which has a long cool down between battles.
Overall, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet can be quite addicting, but it can also get boring soon. I'd say that it's a double-edge sword. Still, being my very first RPG Pokemon game, it is quite an experience to behold. I do look forward to other similar games like this.

"Maybe you should go home, I dont think Sally wants to see you today." Cassie said lightly, patting Jeremiah on the shoulder as she guarded the front door.
"Come on Cas, she's gonna want to see me, she always does."
"Well, normally I'd be with you, but she specifically said to 'beat away any boys from the door with a broom if I had to.' Sorry."
"Don't worry about it, I'll make it work," he sighed with a shrug, picking his bag off the porch and heading around the side. Cassie watched as he walked away, knowing he'd still get in, but this was no longer her problem, so she went back in to watch tv.
Jeremiah was used to climbing the oak tree in their yard, he had done it a lot since he had become so close with Sally, he could do it pretty quick. The issue was getting in. He could see her silouette through her blinds, so he reached out and slide open the glass of her window.
"Fuck! Who the fu -Jeremiah??!" The blinds whipped open, Sally jumping at his attempt to get in. Jeremiah quickly hopped over to the window sill to stick himself in before she had a chance to slam it shut.
"Jeremiah, you get your stupid fucking ass out of my goddamn window now or I'll push you out myself." She yelled, attempting to shove him, but he was already halfway in. He had gotten stuck before, and they figured out he could shimmey his way in if he turned his hip a certain way.  With a loud crash, he fell onto her floor, checking nothing fell out of the bag.
"Here to stay, Sal." He smirked, brushing himself off as he sat up to her bed.
"Cas! You bitch, I said no boys!!" Sally screamed loud enough that they knew she could hear.
"She did her best, that's why I snuck in, Don't be mad at her, ok?" He said a little gentler, trying not to upset her more.
"I'm not mad at her! I just dont want anyone to see me! And you're seeing me!" Sally's anger quickly shifted, as her lip quivered and there was a glimmer of unspilled tears in her eyes. She gave a gross sniffle and started to cry, plopping down next to Jer.
"I don't mind seeing you." He reassured her, putting his hand on her shoulder. She looked at him, honestly looking a mess. Her hair was down, a rarity, wearing an old ratty, pink hoody and grey sweatpants, and her face was beyond red from crying and or anger.
"I look like shit."
"You've looked fucking worse, trust me."
"Oh ha fucking ha.," the tears had stopped and she looked angry again.
"Remember the time you got in that fist fight with henderson, you looked like ground meat, way worse then."
"Sorry, no matter what you say, I'm not going to feel any less yucky than I am," she flopped back on her bed, hands resting on her stomach.
"Well I have something that will maybe help?" It peaked her interest. Jeremiah dumped the content of his bag onto her bed, her eyes lighting up. There was a large, wrapped up chocolate cupcake, some candy bars, a heating pad, and a bottle of painkillers.
"Oh my god, you're my fucking hero, holy shit, that cupcake. Give it here."
"I got ya," Jeremiah laughed, unwrapping it and handing it over, Sally immediately taking a large bite. She looked ready to cry again, but a happy cry at least.
"I don't know shit about girls periods and stuff, this shit helps, right?" Almost all of Jeremiah's friends, especially his close friends were girls, he was slowly catching on to these things.
"You have no fucking idea," she giggled, quickly finishing off the cupcake and taking out some pills for her cramps. She had a bottle of water by her bed and took some.
"Now you happy I snuck in here?"
"No, im still an ugly bitch right now. I'm on the verge of trying to beat the shit out of you."
"You're always a bitch though" Jeremiah smiled, nuding her slightly. She almost looked mad, but he saw the smile peak under the grimace and then she started laughing too.
"Fuck off." She pushed him back, and continued laughing long after he stopped, giggling uncontrollably before wincing in pain and pressing her hand on her stomach, giggling turning into crying.
Jeremiah wasn't equipped with what he was supposed to do, so he did what he knew best and pulled her close into a hug, running his fingers through her hair soothingly. She grabbed at his shirt, resting her head against his chest.
"Can I do anything?"
"You've done fucking more than enough. Honeslty, just like, whatever you're doing, please." She grumbled again him, crying stoped but still visably in pain. Jeremiah guided her so they could both properly lay down next to each other, and he did his best to hold her until she was okay to go back to snacking and smiling.

A Slippery Situation
Tumblr media
Inspired by @storyweaverofgondor's creative challenge!
"I am not boring! And I'll prove it!"
Tantomile marched away from Mistoffelees, her tail held high in indignation. The nerve of that cat! And she'd only come to him for advice on how to make the kittens less nervous around her, not some backhanded compliment about how 'mature' she was. But she'd show him. That much was certain.
As she walked back towards the main clearing of the junkyard, Tantomile looked around for anything or anyone who might aid her in making a practical joke. Jellylorum and Bastentia were sitting on top of the discarded oven, chatting idly as the former worked on a needlepoint pattern. Definitely not what she was looking for if she wanted to appeal to the kittens, although she knew the two queens could be much more mischievous than the younger cats might think.
All of a sudden, Tumblebrutus came bursting onto the scene, calling out for Pouncival and hopping around excitedly. Perfect. "Hey, Tumblebrutus! Do you have a second?"
"Uh, yeah, sure," the young tom replied, scratching behind his ears with one of his back paws. "What's up?"
"I want to pull a prank. Right now. Will you help me?"
He glanced around and behind himself, and she could feel he wasn't convinced of her plan, so she continued. "I thought the kittens might like me a little more if I did something funny, and I always laugh when Jerrie and Teazer do their practical jokes, so I thought it was a good idea. But maybe it isn't, I don't know." She was rambling now, badly. She must really be nervous.
"Oh! No, that makes sense. So... what do you want to do?"
"I don't know, that's the problem." She paused, then looked back at him. "What were you calling your brother for?"
He broke out into a wide grin. "I found this bottle of cod liver oil somebody dropped off at the junkyard. It's still pretty much full! It smells really weird, but it's really slippery, so I thought it could be fun to mess around with."
She smiled slyly, a plan forming in her mind. "Let's go get that bottle. I think I have an idea."
• • •
Tantomile tried not to wince as she dipped both front paws into the jar, the greasy substance inside immediately coating her fur. It was now or never, she knew, and they needed to work fast if they wanted to finish before somebody caught them. She wiped her paws on the tire like a paintbrush, and it went on smoothly. To someone who didn't know to look, it was basically invisible -- just the way she wanted it.
Tumblebrutus stuck his tongue out as he followed her lead, the strong odor of the oil hanging in the air around them. "Don't lick it," she warned him, dipping her own paws in again. "And try not to leave any dry spaces."
"Alright, alright," he said, trying to smear as much of the oil onto the tire as possible. "What made you want to do this, anyway?"
"Misto said I was 'mature for my age.'"
"Ouch. Fair enough."
They worked for a few more minutes, their conversation mostly consisting of Tantomile bargaining with Tumblebrutus to not grumble quite so loudly. Finally, when the whole tire glimmered with a slight sheen and the air stank so much of fish that she was sure it would persist for at least a week, she called it done. The two of them tucked the jar away and snuck up to a high spot where they could watch the chaos unfold.
"Right on cue!" Tumblebrutus whispered, pointing out the Rum Tum Tugger as he sauntered along below them. He turned to her, still wearing the same grin as before. "This was a great idea."
"Don't jinx it!"
The two watched as Tugger noticed the smell, wandering to the back of the clearing. Tantomile could feel her prank-mate's excitement as he stepped up towards the tire, reflected only by her own. "Hey, who's got fish-- whoa!" He slipped as he tried to walk across and landed back flat on the tire, groaning.
Tantomile let out a snort of laughter, and Tumblebrutus looked over at her again. They had barely locked eyes before they both started bursting out laughing, only stopping as she sensed a new presence approaching the tire.
Tumble let out a gasp as Munkustrap appeared from behind a corner and stood only a few feet away from disaster, looking confusedly down at Tugger. Both pranksters watched with bated breath as he took a step onto a particularly slick spot. Tugger only had enough time to shout "wait, no!" before the silver tom lost his footing and face-planted directly onto his brother.
Tantomile wasn't sure how she and Tumblebrutus didn't get found out immediately, with the howling laughter certainly emanating from their hiding spot. But when she had wiped the tears from her eyes and looked back down at the clearing, the two cats seemed to have no clue that the tire had been greased.
They had rolled into the dirt at some point, coating both of them in a dusty brown mat, a fact that seemed to upset Munkustrap nearly as much as his brother. She could feel them silently agree not to let anyone else know about what had just happened, and she grinned.
"They're not going to say anything."
"Nice. More pranking for us." He bumped her with his shoulder, and she beamed at him. This would definitely change Mistoffelees' mind. Maybe she'd even get to watch him slip himself. Wouldn't that be a moment to remember.
"What are you two doing up here?" A gruff voice sprang up from behind them, and they turned to see Asparagus, arms crossed. "I thought the tire smelled odd, so I tried following it, and here you are, absolutely reeking of fish oil."
Tantomile ducked her head. "We covered the tire in oil so everyone would slip on it. But we didn't want to hurt anyone!"
"We were just having fun..." Tumblebrutus went to lick his paw, then pulled it away, flinching at the taste. "Sorry, uncle Gus."
"A prank, eh? Well, did you think of a way to get people on the tire?"
"N-not really," Tantomile said, glancing over at Tumble confusedly.
"Well then, you've still got a lot to learn. Now, duck your heads down a moment."
They obliged, still not sure what was going on. "Skimbleshanks!" Gus called out, waving. "Jenny said she wanted to meet with you at the tire!" He waited a moment, then looked down at them and smiled. When they just stared back up at him in amazement, he sighed. "What are you doing? Turn back around and watch. This one will be priceless."

The next day, as Ridley was approached by the chief, Bernie, in the busy hallway, he spotted Hunter close by in the crowd, watching him.
Bernie asked how his investigation went, to which Ridley said, "Lost the trail, I'm afraid. Too much mud and other foot traffic. But there's definitely something there."
"We'll put Paul on it," Bernie said.
"Ah, maybe consider a team."
"Did you get into trouble?"
"You know me, chief, I never get into trouble," Ridley grinned.
Bernie harrumphed, twisting his moustache.
"It's a dangerous area, however," he continued, "Best to be safe."
Bernie nodded, "Quite right. I'll see to it."
After the chief walked off, Ridley caught Hunter's eye, but he immediately turned and entered the renovation area. The rest of the day went much the same; whenever Ridley noticed Hunter, he would turn and leave, but was obviously keeping an eye on him.
As evening turned to night, Ridley was finishing reading over a recent case file, one of a string of similar reports about people claiming to see monsters in the city. His office was a mess of building materials and tarp-covered furniture, but he never let the little things bother him. He looked up at the sound of the door opening.
Hunter looked surprised to see him, a rare crack in his usually impassable expression, "I didn't think anyone was still here," he said, suddenly defensive.
Ridley put his papers down, "Good evening to you as well."
They stared at each other for a few beats. Then Hunter started walking towards a covered pile of wooden boards, "I am moving these to the hallway."
Ridley stood up, "Hunter, I wanted to thank you for yesterday."
He turned his head slowly to face him, eyes narrowed, "I don't know what you're talking about."
"If you're worried about me telling anyone, then I can assure you I won't."
Hunter's face cracked, he stepped towards him, "Oh yeah? You, whose job it is to expose secrets? You're not going to tell anyone?"
Ridley stayed where he was, his voice even, "No. I have no reason to."
Hunter grimaced, like he was holding back a sneeze, then he turned to leave, "Nevermind, you're all the same."
"Hey, hey, wait!" Ridley hopped in front of him, holding his hands up, "I mean it!"
Hunter crossed his arms, frowning.
Ridley spun his mind, thinking of something, anything, "How about this, I know something about you, what if I told you something about me?"
Hunter pushed past him, heading for the door.
"I used to study at the High School of Academics."
The hand over the doorknob stopped. Everyone knew about the HSA, the most prestigious school in the country.
"Had a bright future of academics ahead of me, until," he rolled the last word, his eyes along with it, "the faculty found out I was a 'homosexual'."
Hunter turned to look at him, a confused look on his face, "Did you do something disruptive?"
"Oh, yeah, I kissed a guy in my free time outside of school grounds, terrible, I know."
Hunter only looked more confused. So Ridley sighed, "The place is run by 'honorable' old farts, they don't like things that make them uncomfortable, and unfortunately they have the power to make that felt as well as known."
"That sucks, I'm sorry."
Ridley waved it off, smirking, "I'm honestly glad for it, I'd hate to be stuck behind a desk for the rest of my life, and I would hate it even more if I had to stay in the company of those wrinkled sacks of judgment. I much prefer where I am now."
Hunter glanced around the room, "In a renovation site in the middle of the night with a dangerous worker?"
"Replace 'dangerous' with 'handsome', and you've got it," he winked.
Hunter froze for an instant, then turned to the stack of boards, "Anyway, I gotta get these to the hallway."
"I'll help."
Hunter didn't look thrilled, but he allowed it.

Hey Olive! I was looking through your old journal entries, and I noticed something called "Reality sickness" can you provide more information and context? Also I have a friend I'm worried about I believe he's attempting to respawn? What do I do and if it comes to that how do I make sure he does so safely? Thankyou! -Respawn Anon
I will not at this point give you a guide on resawning. I will link a short and sweep idiot version from a story my friend is writing about me and my friends (danlging threads in a clockwork of reds a dj time au), but that is the most you will get out of me and I only link it out of pure nececity for someone I know who reads this blog.
(The gist of it is, you resapwn because you truly and utterly wish to die. you respawn because you just can't take it anymore, and you get help to do it from spirits. You respawn not because you want to be an avitar the last airbender bender, or because you want to be a pokemon trainer or sailor moon esc magickal girl or visit a dr -most respwaners cant use scripts with the atempt- but because you truly and utterly wish to die and this is your last resort or your already on your death bed) I successfully respawned and I've done so many times, but I always end up where I need to be in proper realities where everything is the same but slightly off. I don't halucinate and I've been to worlds where google had its old logo, song lyrics were totally off and changed, and tumblr was tardis blue with a lighter shade rather than where we are now.
I've reset time several times but under no circumstances am i gona teach shmoes on the internet how to do these things. It's dangerous. I worked my ass off to learn how to renew and respawn and everything, and I'm afraid if I just post that to somewhere tumblr where people wish to visit and ISEKAI themselves that I send a bad message as a reality shifter and more! I consider myself a role model for the pop cutlure and time magick community and if I go around bragging about my respawns with in depth books on how to do it? What kind of fucking mesage does that send to my braids and my beads?
So yes. You can respawn. But if you think an anime is going to be written about you tough luck. [Link goes to tv tropes] so yeah. Um. That's messed up. my biggest um advice for your friend is to negoitate with their deiteis about this. Sometimes your gods WILL LET YOU DIE. I just have a weird spell on me where I keep coming back. My "clones" pick up the slack, alternate sleves in other worlds where I didn't sucseed or my life stays ended there.
We are in revelations and its kind of important I help usher in the second era and help the end time prophet and I can't do those things if I'm dead. Hence the gods- brining my back a gazillion times. Most people will never be me. Once you hit that button? Bam! gone for good. So like- Don't respwan don't do that. Just know if your extremely sucidal that that is your get out of jail free card to escape death. Now reality sickness cus I'm kind of disturbed by your general question is when you reality shift or time hop, or time skip to many times and you sort of get realities blurred and mixed up. I have magick charm and code in this diary and blog. It will keep updating no matter what reality I'm in. I do sliders shit. Okay? I sometimes get stuck in other worlds, and I update my blog from them! I'm a weirdo! But reality sickness is the result of this sort of work, where you get your "canons" your "worlds" mixed up with each other.
It's fairly common and usually signals you need a break. Though sometimes with reality sickness you don't want one and feel like you cant take one. It's just your mind gettiing jumbled as a result of too much shifting. That's it.
Thanks for your ask I wish you and your friend well, and I really hope it never has to come to that. You can physically manifest and go to an alternate reality without dying! I WOULD KNOW. You jsut need to get advanced. But this journal and all the others works I link and give you info on will one day hopefully get you there!

Get Some Rest (Tech x Reader) Pt 2
Tumblr media
Warnings: anxiety, angst-y ?, mentions of death/near-death experiences, blood/gore, mentions of violence, fluff at the end i promise (i would say im sorry, but im not) (bet you didn't expect this right after a fluffy first part >:))
Pairing: Tech x GN!Reader
Word Count: 5.1k
Part 1, Part 2
Summary: Oh no! It's a mission gone wrong trope! I wonder what could possibly be underneath this keep-reading cutoff! It totally cannot be where the reader and the bad batch go on a rescue mission only for something to go awry leading to treating injuries, and feelings.
"Everything is going to be okay. It will be alright. You got this y/n, you got this." You mumbled to yourself under your breath as you hid behind a convenience stall on some Outer Rim planet.
Something had gone wrong, VERY wrong. The mission was supposed to be easy: get in, get the prisoners, and get out, but it had all gone downhill faster than you could say dank farrik.
-
Earlier in the day, Tech had tapped into a secure Separatist transmission when messing around with his datapad. The Separatists were broadcasting a signal from a supposed neutral Outer Rim planet back to their base only a system away. They had taken the native people as prisoners and were going to use them for something, but none of you could figure out what. From then on, Hunter had taken charge, deciding that there was no time to ask for approval on the mission.
When the five of you reached the planet, you couldn't help but whisper to Tech next to you, "None of this seems right. If the Separatists did take these people as prisoners wouldn't there still be ships and droids?"
Tech simply looked at you before saying, "Not if they wanted to be secretive about it," and going back to his datapad.
You let out a huff. Things hadn't been that different between you two after the kiss you shared in the cockpit of the Havoc Marauder. When in private there would be shared tender moments, like there was nothing in the world that could come between you two, but with his brothers, Tech would regard you as the friend they all viewed you to be. They all knew something was going on between you two, and you had even taken it upon yourself to rant to Crosshair one night. He said he 'reluctantly' chose to listen, but he had calmed your anxious babbling about how you thought that Tech was embarrassed that you two were something now. That brought up another fact about how you two never addressed what you could call yourselves. Any time you tried to bring it up to Tech he would either cut you off with something else he was wildly researching, or one of his brothers would walk in and need either one of you. Crosshair's words did help to remind you that "That's just how Tech is sometimes. Clones were made to be fighters, not lovers." Leave it to him to say something like that. Out of every one of his brothers you knew he was the one who wanted a normal life the most even if he didn't show it.
As you and the rest of the group began your walk from the Marauder to the closest town you found yourself falling into step next to Wrecker instead of your usual placement besides Tech. Looking down at you, he asks, "Something bothering you? It sure looks like something is,"
Looking up to make eye contact with him you say, "I still don't feel like this is right. Everything seems to be falling into place too easily. This never happens to us!"
Wrecker turns his attention back to the surroundings passing a glance over the open area before stating, "Honestly, it is a little odd, but I trust the others and their intuition as much as yours."
The finality in his tone stood true as neither of you said anything for the rest of the walk into the town square. Walking past the empty booths would have been enough to send normal civilians running at the sight, everything was ruined. Curtains torn, fruit on the floor, and vendor booths destroyed. It was a depressing sight to see, but sadly one that the group was used to, it was a time of war after all.
After a little longer of walking and reaching the heart of the city, Hunter holds his fist up and all of the groups' motion ceases. "Tech," he says, "Can you pick up anything else from that transmission or anything that could give us a clue as to what else happened here?"
"I'm working on it, have been since we landed. The Separatists have scrambled all signals, so it’s taking me a while to try and find the frequency again," Tech answers before looking around the surrounding area, "As for what happened here, I think the evidence speaks for itself."
Hunter sighs before saying, "Alright, we'll split into two groups to cover more ground. Tech, and Wrecker you're with me. Crosshair and y/n, I expect no arguments coming out of this grouping."
Crosshair scoffs as you roll your eyes and make your way to stand next to him. "Didn't plan for arguments but maybe I'll start a few just to piss you off now," you say as you turn back towards Hunter.
"Just make it back here in one piece, we'll meet back up here at 1500, and if anybody is late, we assume they have gone missing and this was a trap," Hunter says before turning away and starting to walk down one of the many deserted alleys.
"Looks like we're stuck together again Cross," you let out before elbowing his side and starting to walk forward.
Following you and shoving a toothpick in his mouth he says, "As long as you don't complain about your problems with your boyfriend the whole time this might just be enjoyable."
"Yeah, yeah, let's just get going you karking toothpick lover."
-
It had only been around half an hour or so of walking before you and Crosshair could hear blaster fire in the distance. You ask, "Hey Cross, am I dehydrated, or is that actual blaster fire?" Turning around to face the said man, he already had his eyepiece down checking for heat signatures and was pulling you by your arm into a space between two buildings.
"There's nothing around us, but I'm assuming the others encountered some clankers. They must have found something because well, we found nothing and have no one after us," Crosshair states before tilting his helmet down to you and reading your facial expressions, "You want to go back and help them, don't you?"
"Of course I do Crosshair! Don't pretend that you don't want to either, I know how you care for your brothers. Let's just try to make it back without alerting any of those damn droids," you reply.
Crosshair tilts his head towards a stack of boxes and towards the roof of the buildings, you were situated between. "I think I have an idea."
-
"Why the hell did I let you come up with the idea to get back to your brothers. Running from roof to roof isn't exactly easy and leaves us out in the open," you complain before hopping another gap in-between roofs to catch up with Crosshair.
Crosshair stops short in front of you on the next roof almost causing you to walk into him before turning around to face you, "Look, I'm just as anxious as you to get back to them, but they are all capable enough to take care of themselves and I trust them with that. You of all people should know that as well," he spits angrily, and could almost hear a growl with his final punctuation.
"I know Crosshair, I get that you are worried, but I just can't help thinking that something had to go wrong. Let's just hope that my intuition is the wrong thing," You say before putting a hand on his shoulder, "C'mon, let's make this fast."
-
By the time you had made it back to the town square, to your luck, you still had not encountered any droids except for the ones who were scattered all over the floor in pieces.
"Looks like Hunter got to work on these guys," you say as you bend down to touch the large gash left by a vibro-knife in the torso of a droid.
Crosshair is examining another droid with its head ripped off only a few meters from you, "Looks like Wrecker got these guys too. But the question remains: where are Hunter, Wrecker, and Tech?"
At this, you paused and drew your focus away from the droid and instead survey the area, "The real question is, why is there no evidence of Tech fighting back? There are no electro-proton bombshells and even no blaster marks on any of these guys."
"Maybe they split up," Crosshair looks at you before pointing down one of the alleys.
"Fuck, I hope you're right."
-
It didn't take both of you that long to find Hunter and Wrecker, but it also didn't take long for another set of droids to ambush you. That's how you found yourself pressed behind the convenience stall mumbling under your breath. You had managed to take down a few droids but were forced to take cover. The others were still scattered around picking off droids one by one just as you remembered that Tech was still nowhere to be seen. Your mind was rushing faster than you could've ever thought trying to find out any idea as to where he could have gone.
Suddenly the blaster fire stopped as you heard a final clank from a droid hitting the ground. As you stood up you looked around cautiously, and deciding the coast was clear you jumped over the stall to group up with the rest of the bad batch.
As everyone began looking over each other there seemed to be only one thought shared between the group. This was a trap and Tech was gone.
Trying to alleviate the sour mood the group was plunging headfirst into you chuckled before saying, "You guys can finally say I was right now."
The others groaned before Hunter said, "Now is not the time y/n, Tech's missing and we have no clue where the kark he could be."
"You think I don't know that Hunter?" You let out through clenched teeth before continuing, "I'm just as worried as you are right now, but let's get somewhere where we don't have to worry about droids ambushing us."
Crosshair let out a sigh from beside you, "They're right. We won't be able to help Tech if we're dead so let's get back to the ship."
Picking up what he was putting down you finished for him, "We can re-group our thoughts on the Marauder, come up with a game plan, and then retrace our steps. It will do no good thinking while our minds are in 20 places at once."
-
Back on the ship all of you had gathered around the small datapad you placed in the middle of the table. "Alright, I tracked Tech's datapad's last known location to here, but who knows if it even with him," you say before zooming in on the location, "We can't guarantee that it would be safe either, we all know the number of clankers they sent after us just to try and keep us away."
"As long as I get to blow something up and get Tech out, anything is a good plan," Wrecker says before heading towards the back of the ship.
Crosshair nods at both you and Hunter before getting out of his seat to go and follow Wrecker.
"I know you're really worried, you don't hide your emotions that well," Hunter says while placing a hand on your shoulder.
"No shit Hunter," you start while rolling your eyes, "I'm worried about what might happen if we can't find him, or even if it's too late and he's already gone. I don't know what I would be able to do without him."
Hunter gives your shoulder a reassuring squeeze, "It will be okay y/n. For our sake and yours, let's think positively."
-
The four of you had made your way back into the town square better equipped and without a problem. You had some of your own plastoid armor on now for a bit of extra protection in case things decided to take an even stronger turn for the worst.
"The signal from the datapad is down the alley to the Northeast," you say while glancing up from your own datapad.
The group nods back at you as you continue your way down the alley. It was quiet, the tall sand-colored buildings surrounding you couldn't help but make you feel claustrophobic. The other alleys were not like this. They had seemed to be more open, with a lot fewer canopies, but this one had canopies blocking almost all the sun. It also didn't help that it was starting to get dark.
As you reached another intersection, Hunter held up his fist to signify everyone to stop. A wave of déjà vu flashed over you, and you prayed to any gods that would listen that you wouldn't split up again. After a few moments, Hunter turned to you and tilted his head to the side, to which you answered by pointing your hand to the alley to the right. In a whisper, you add, "If we continue straight down that alley, we should reach another intersection. Tech's datapad should be there."
The four of you continued walking again and when you reached the intersection you couldn't help but let out a strangled sob. There was a pool of blood on the farthest side of the intersection that was smeared on one side. Rushing up next to the blood, you stopped mere centimeters from it as your eyes caught sight of Tech's datapad. Your hands were shaking as you reached for it and you brushed a finger over one of the bloody fingerprints. "Oh shit," you say letting out a shaky breath. How could you have let this happen; how could you allow yourselves to walk right into a trap? Now Tech was gone, bleeding out, or dead, and there was no exact way to trace him.
You see Wrecker's hands wrap around your own but don't register the feelings. Your whole body has seemingly shut off and stopped processing the world around you. Wrecker takes the datapad from your hands and passes it to either Hunter or Crosshair. You are too shocked to care as you collapse to your knees. Wrecker is at your side on the ground in seconds and pulls you right into him. The plastoid armor that would bring you so much comfort as you used to hold Tech close only burned as tears began to fall from your face. The air was thick with remorse and regret, but you couldn't hold on to the fact that he could be dead. After a few somber minutes recollecting yourself, you pushed away from Wrecker and pushed yourself off the ground, offering a hand to Wrecker to assist him. Once both of you were up and you had cleaned the sand off your pants, you turned towards Hunter and Crosshair. They were silent as ever, Crosshair had taken a seat on of the nearby crates and had his head in his hands, and Hunter had taken to looking at Tech datapad.
Breaking the silence, you spoke first, "We can't just give up and believe he is dead," startling Crosshair causing him to jump in his seat.
"Yeah, we need to think he's still out there, that the Separatist kept him alive for information," Wrecker added, backing you up.
Hunter had turned back around waving the datapad, "They were smart enough to keep his datapad here, but they weren't smart enough to wipe any messages on it."
At this, you scrambled over to Hunter's side and pulled that datapad closer to your face. Displayed was an unsent message to you that contained various numbers. "Coordinates," you say breathlessly as Crosshair joins the rest of you standing in a haphazard circle around the datapad. Adding, you ask, "Do you think those are the coords of the base where they took the prisoners too?"
"Probably," Crosshair speaks for the first time since arriving at the intersection, "Let's hope Tech's there too."
Taking Tech's datapad from Hunter, Crosshair begins off in the direction leading away from Tech's bloodstain on the ground, but also opposite the way you came. The rest of you fall into step behind him and continue your way to your destination.
-
On the way following the coordinates, all four of you were on high alert, but no droids had come to attack you, relieving some of the stress. It didn't help relax you guys upon seeing the droids surrounding a large sandstone castle-like building. Stopping at the crest of a hill a while away from the makeshift Separatist base, Hunter and you took to scanning the surrounding area, while Crosshair and Wrecker began to formulate some form of attack.
"Once again, I can tell you're worried," Hunter said as you both had scopes pulled out to try and find any weak points in the droid formations.
"And once again, we all are Hunter. I just hope we aren't too late," You reaffirm before pointing at a space straight ahead, "Look, they're rotating shifts. Maybe we could find a way in on their next rotation."
Hunter turns to look at you before saying, "How would we know when the next rotation is?"
"I don't know, maybe figure out what time it is Mr. Survivalist," you taunt sarcastically.
Hunter scoffs before saying "It's 1900, we could use the fact that it's dark out now to our advantage. It could help us slip in and out undetected if we want."
Nodding before standing up, you say, "True, let's go tell the others and see if it can play into their plan."
-
Once getting back to Crosshair and Wrecker, all four of you focused on a plan and decided it was best to split into two groups to help divide the droid forces. There would be no surprise ambushes by the droids, but instead an ambush on them. You and Hunter taking the back way in, through the gap in droid shifts you noticed earlier, while Wrecker and Crosshair would work on some sort of distraction from the front.
Wrapping up the discussion of the plan one last time before separating Hunter adds, "Remember, this is a rescue mission. Once we have Tech and possible other prisoners we get out as fast as we can."
You, Wrecker, and Crosshair nodded before wishing each other luck as they walked off from your position.
"You ready y/n?" Hunter asks.
"Ready as I'll ever be," you say back to him as you two make your way towards your position.
-
Once situated towards the back of the building, Hunter commed Crosshair saying, "The droids are about to rotate positions, on my word start whatever distraction you have in mind."
The two of you waited on edge while the minutes drew on. After what felt like forever the droids finally began to move. At this, Hunter commed Crosshair again with finality, saying, "Now."
From your position, you could see the blast from the explosives Wrecker had set off, along with the heavy concentration of blaster fire. The droids that were covering the area where you and Hunter immediately went to act as reinforcement to those affected by the blast.
Hunter and you ran from your location to the back of the building, quickly finding an open window. Pulling the window open more, you forced your way inside as Hunter followed. The room was empty, and most of the lights were off. Pulling out a flashlight you scanned it across the floor quickly before turning it off again to not be spotted, even if there was a small chance of that.
"It looks like we are in some type of living room," Hunter says before making his way away from the window and peeking his head around the corner of the door and into the hallway. "The hallway's clear, I would say split up to cover more floors, but seeing what happened last time I told everyone to split up... I don't think that's a good idea."
Nodding you made your way over to him to look out into the hallway as well. "I say we go to the basement if there is one. It would make sense to keep people prisoner there," You say before stepping foot into the hallway.
"Yeah, but the only problem is finding stairs that could lead to a basement," Hunter says while stepping into place behind you.
"It shouldn't be that hard, plus if Tech was still bleeding by the time, he got here, wouldn't you think there would be a trail of blood where they brought him?" You shuddered while stating the possibility out loud, just as Hunter made a noise of acknowledgment.
After what felt like hours of walking the hallways on high alert, and checking most rooms as you come across them, you staggered trying to stop yourself from walking as you finally caught sight of some blood on the ground. "Hunter," you whispered, "Look."
Hunter looked around your form to get a glance at what you were looking at, before shining his flashlight down the rest of the hall. "There's a trail too," he said while keeping his flashlight trained on the spots of blood.
"C'mon," You say as you grab him by the hand and pull him the rest of the way down the hallway.
Stopping at the end of the said hallway you are greeted by stairs to the left of you, and you turn to Hunter before silently agreeing to walk town together in sync. The stairs were solid sandstone, so you didn't have to worry about any creaky stairs, but you did have to worry about footing. Pulling out your vibro-knives at the same time as Hunter, you two started making your way down the stairs. The sight that waited for you and the bottom of the short walk would stick in your head forever. The basement was one single connected holding cell, with prisoners lined up against the bars trying to get a look at you. Some of them were crying, others wailing in pain, and some had fallen into silent spells. Noticing this, Hunter and you quickly put your knives away before you rushed to the gate with the main lock at it. While you made fast work of the lock and quickly picked it, Hunter had begun reassuring the people that we were here for help and that he was looking for someone who looked like us. With the gate, open people poured out in a mass exodus and began to make their way upstairs, without a single care of what could happen to them.
Once almost everyone was out, you and Hunter made your way into the cell where you were greeted with another terrible sight. Tech was there on a stone table in the middle of a cell with one of them, now freed, prisoners hovering over him. His armor was off and tossed to the side as he was only in his blacks, and he had a bacta patch wrapped around his torso. You rushed over to him as Hunter escorted the prisoner out of the cell and couldn't help but let out a sob for the second time today. Tech looked frail, and you hesitated to even reach out to touch him fearing that it would break him. You were immediately relieved after placing two fingers on his wrist and feeling his pulse. It was weak, but it was still there. "Hunter! I need some help down here," you call out before starting to run around the table to grab Tech's armor. Hunter came running back down the stairs at your call and once you saw him you continued, "I need you to carry him out of here. I'll get his armor, but we need to move fast before the droid realize that this was all a diversion."
At this Hunter makes his way to Tech's side without a word and picks him up and slings him over his shoulder. Grabbing the final pieces of Tech's armor, both of you begin to make your way up to the stair. Tapping the comlink on your wrist you hear blaster fire permeate through the room around you. "Crosshair, we got Tech. If I know Wrecker, he probably has some explosives, so as soon as we get out of the house, give him the word to blow this place up."
"Got it," Crosshair says before the comlink closes with a beep.
"Let's try a nearby window and get out of here as fast as we can before we tell them to set the chargers," you say to Hunter as you force your way ahead of him and into the closest room. Hunter follows you before grunting as a noise of approval. Making your way to the window, you grab Tech's helmet from where it sat under your arm and smashed it. Hunter gives you an exasperated look as he walks past you and out the window first, to which you only say, "What? It was a lot easier than putting everything down and opening it.
Once both of you are outside, you make your way to the location where you two started the mission. Reaching the spot a few meters away, you open the com with Crosshair again, "Crosshair, tell Wrecker to light it up. Now!"
Instead of getting an actual response as an answer, you could hear the various explosions coming from the area behind you.
"Nice work you two but meet up with us where we made camp before, it will be quicker to get back to the Marauder with Wrecker carrying Tech," You say into the com again before forcing yourself to walk in the direction of the temporary camp from before.
"Rodger that," Both Crosshair and Wrecker's voices come through the comlink before the transmission ends again with a beep.
-
The four of you, plus an unresponsive Tech, met up quickly and rushed back to the Marauder as soon as you could. Reaching the ship was a relief as Hunter had immediately gone into the cockpit and got you guys off the planet, and Wrecker took Tech to the bunks with you in tow with medical supplies.
Once Wrecker placed Tech on his respective bunk, you immediately rushed him out of the room and got to work. Removing the hastily applied bacta patch, you assessed the wound that Tech had got before he was captured. It was nasty at first glance, but you assumed it was even worse before he had the first batch patch applied. The cut ran from his left shoulder across his torso, coming to finally stop at the bottom of his right ribs. Luckily, the cut wasn't that deep, because there would have been hardly a chance, he would've survived that. Continuing your work, you cleaned the wound before wrapping it up again in another bacta patch. Standing up and observing the handiwork of your terrible medical experience, you run a full body scan with your datapad just to check for any other injuries that could internal. Thankfully, the scan came up negative and you could assume that Tech had just passed out due to blood loss. He still looked extremely pale as you stood there and stared at him, but some color was starting to return to his body.
Sitting back down, you grasped his hand in yours and looked at both hands together. As the weight of the day's events slowly started the catch up with you, you could hardly help yourself as you began to fall asleep. In a state of half-consciousness, you could've sworn you felt Tech's hand squeezing yours, but you were too tired to even process the notion that he might've.
-
The feeling of someone pulling your hand to their lips pulled you out of your nap and caused you to pick your head up from the side of Tech's bunk.
"Good morning Tech," you said before you could even process what was happening, but as soon as the words left your mouth your head snapped up and your eyes immediately widened. "Tech! You're up!"
Tech let out a breathy chuckle before trying to force his way up, only for you immediately to place your hand on his good shoulder and force him back down, "Nope, no getting up for you just yet. You had us all worried sir," you say while shifting your position to get a better look at him.
"I never meant to cause you guys any trouble," he says sincerely, "We had all got split up when those droids attacked us, and they caught me by surprise by sending in reinforcements."
"It's okay Tech, you don't need to justify your actions, you're alive and here back on the Marauder with us. That is all that matters," you say before gripping his hand again and squeezing it.
"Y'know while the droids were dragging me away as I was bleeding out, I couldn't help but focus on one thing," he says while squeezing your hand in return.
"Oh? And what was that?" You ask with a smile on your face.
Tech smiles back at you before bringing your hand to his lips again and placing a firm kiss on your knuckles, "I couldn't stop thinking about how I hadn't told you how much I love you."
Freezing in your place at the combinations of the words and the sincerity in Tech's tone, you couldn't help but find yourself smiling wider at what he had said. "I love you too Tech, too much. I thought I had lost you today but I'm so glad I didn't," you say with finality in your tone.
Leaning down to place a kiss on his lips you find yourself in a state of relief. Tech was back and safe out of harm's way, and he really does love you. Pulling away from the kiss, but still holding eye contact with him you say, "You still need to rest up, and don't think that kissing me will be a distraction."
Tech rolls his eye and lets out a groan before smirking and saying, "Well after I'm all healed you better make it up to me."
You smack his leg and let out a huff of frustration and as you go to walk out of the room you say, "We'll see about that one Tech. We'll see."

tuna | anniversary special
Synopsis: A normal day in Yuu's new life in NRC but, somehow, today made them feel a little bit nostalgic.
Notes: I wanted to write something for Twisted Wonderland's anniversary! This game really means so much to me and I don't think I would've picked up writing again if I didn't stumble upon it. Something about Grim and Yuu's relationship makes me emotional and the fact that Grim got a new card in the game didn't help me cope at all. I ended up writing this fic as a result, this is just purely fluff! (I think) I hope you guys like this.
Tumblr media
The smell of charred coal and an oily can of tuna greeted Yuu's nostrils as they stirred awake, grumbling incoherent words as their eyes adjusted to the sudden sunlight entering their room through the window. It was almost peaceful.
Almost.
Had it not been for Grim feasting on his tuna noisily and messily. Yuu sighed as they stood up from their bed and began to arrange it—folding the sheets, dusting the pillows and set them aside neatly. The creaking of the floorboards with each step they took used to unnerve them, afraid that it might give in one day but Yuu learned to get used to it. Though sometimes they can't help but worry for the day when it actually gives in. Maybe they could ask Headmaster Crowley before that happens?
Yuu shook their head and dismissed the thought. The last thing they wanted to hear was Crowley spouting nonsense all over again and then disappearing without a trace. Judging from all the times Crowley has let them down, who's to say that he won't do it again? They pulled out the wooden chair placed by the table and scrunched their face when they saw how Grim was eating.
"You're making a mess everywhere!" Yuu scolded, trying to snatch the tuna can from his hands (paws?) before he could knock the other stuff down on the table. Grim didn't bother refuting as he sat back lazily on the chair, a satisfied grin on his face.
"Mhm... That was delicious~!" Grim let out a merry sigh. The breakfast he'd been used to everyday wasn't something he would look forward to or enjoy. Living in an abandoned dorm meant that no one else was there to cook for them but theirselves and there was no way Yuu was letting the ghosts handle the cooking. As a result, most of their meals were either bland or too little in terms of portions—Crowley wasn't one to ensure these types of things so that's one more thing Yuu adds to the list of 'Why I don't like the Headmaster'.
So when Grim found a can of tuna lying around somewhere, he didn't waste a second to grab the golden opportunity in front of him. Though there was one tiny little problem with what Grim did.
Yuu got that for their breakfast today.
Together.
And much to their misfortune and Grim's doom, the can was empty. Yuu had to pause for a moment to process the sudden discovery—Grim ate all of the tuna. They had to clench their fist tightly so as to not grab the ribbon tied around Grim's neck and shake him like a pepper shaker. Grim was blissfully unaware of the way Yuu was giving him glares that could kill and continued to relish himself in his euphoria. Though that was short-lived when Yuu decided to open their mouth, gentle anger lacing their voice.
"Grim. Did you eat all of the tuna?" They crossed their arms across their chest, a perfect close eyed smile on their face as they tilted their head slightly when they questioned Grim. He froze for a moment, eyes widening and his lips slightly twitching as Yuu furrowed their eyebrows. Clearly, they saw how the sudden realization hit the raccoon-cat (or whatever he was) and how nervous he became. He needs to think of an excuse—fast.
"A-Ah! About this…" Grim started, throwing his paws around in the air, making out incomprehensible gestures. Though before they could hear his explanation, an important thought crossed over Yuu's mind and they felt their blood run cold.
"Hey… Grim. What time is it?" They didn't wait for a reply, feet already scrambling towards their closet as they vigorously looked for a clean uniform. Grim held a confused expression.
"Eh, time? Isn't it…"
"Grim you idiot! We're bloody late!"
"F'nya!! Why didn't ya tell me sooner!?"
"Oh so now it's my fault? You're the one who didn't wake me up!"
"Professor Trein is going to be so mad…"
"Just shut up and start walking!"
Both of them dashed out from Ramshackle, the doorknob at the entrance getting slightly jammed so Yuu had no choice but to break the rickety door down. Not that it was difficult though, burglars could've easily killed them during their sleep—that is, if people even manage to climb a whole mountain to bother stealing from them. They'll just have to explain the door incident to Headmaster Crowley as well later. That is, if they manage to talk to him at all.
But, for now, the only thing stuck in their heads was to run as fast as they can or else it was off with their heads!
Tumblr media
“You’re late.” Their teacher, Professor Mozus Trein, spoke in a cold tone. Gingerly stroking his cat’s head as it purred but that didn't give Yuu and Grim any ease at all when they stood there, unmoving, at the classroom entrance. Yuu tried to keep a neutral expression, hands at their side and feet together. Grim, on the other hand, wasn’t doing so well with doing the same as Yuu. He had trouble standing straight on two legs so he decided to climb up Yuu’s back to their shoulder and stayed there.
The sudden shift in weight on one of their shoulders made them grimace slightly.
“Good morning, Professor. Please excuse my tardiness, it won’t happen again.” Yuu bowed slightly, hoping that this would all be over quickly and he would let them go to their respective chairs. They straightened their back, looking at Trein directly before he gave them a slight nod and returning his attention to the chalkboard in front.
Yuu and Grim let out a sigh of relief simultaneously as they quickly went to their respective seats with Grim hopping off Yuu’s shoulder. He grabbed a bunch of books from Yuu’s bag to stack them up. Sitting on it since he wasn’t tall enough to see on his own without the desk obstructing his view.
Yuu caught the sight of Ace trying hard to keep in his laughter in the corner of their eye. They wondered for a moment about what Ace could possibly be laughing about until they heard Grim snarl ever so slightly. As if a lightbulb suddenly popped up over Yuu’s head, it suddenly clicked all too well.
He was laughing at them.
Although Yuu didn’t particularly mind being laughed at by that clown, Ace Trappola, Grim didn’t share the same sentiment. They had to hold back Grim’s tail to stop him from throwing a fit during class—it was a good thing Professor Trein had his back turned or else they’d be in bigger trouble.
A few minutes into class and Yuu could already feel their head explode. Coming from a completely different world than Twisted Wonderland, there was no doubt that they were going to have difficulty understanding things from here. While History of Magic was indeed an interesting subject, Yuu couldn’t help but feel the need to pull their hair out when they saw what Professor Trein was writing on the board.
‘Those symbols… am I supposed to know them? This looks more like a summoning circle more than anything, how am I supposed to understand this?’
They slapped their forehead repeatedly and forced theirselves to stare at the board once more—hoping that staring at it for a while would miraculously make them understand whatever that is. Grim, on the other hand, looked like he was boding well—looking so studious and listening attentively. But the moment he picked up a pen, that’s when the image was ruined. Yuu had to stifle their laughter when they saw him struggle to write on paper.
While it was a bit mean to laugh at him, Yuu couldn’t deny the fact that the drastic change was hilarious.
“Yuu, is there something you’d like to share with the class?” Professor Trein suddenly called out their name. Their back straightened and their gaze immediately snapped to the teacher in front. It seems like the Professor was paying more attention to Yuu.
Someone in the classroom let out a snort. Small, but audible for it to be heard by everyone in the dead silent classroom.
“Ace Trappola, do you have something to say as well?”
Ace stood up almost immediately.
“N-Nothing, Professor!”
Yuu was a tiny bit glad that Ace slipped up. At least they won’t be alone when Professor Trein decides to punish them. They shot a mischievous look at Ace, sticking their tongue out that screams: Serves you right!
Tumblr media
“Dismissed.” With one single word from Trein, the class burst into a series of relieved sighs and yawns—a few ones groaning here and there but they were eventually glared at by the Professor and his poofy cat. Ace sluggishly walked towards Yuu and Grim with Deuce, who looked as fresh as ever, following behind.
“Hey, did you get everything Professor Trein said? Today’s class was sooo boring.” Ace whined, crossing his arms over his chest as he asked his three friends.
“Nope.” Yuu answered truthfully as they put back their pen into their case.
“Not at all…” Deuce closed his eyes and clutched his forehead.
“Hmph! Of course I did, I even took down notes.” Grim was proud as he puffed out his chest. Ace’s eyes perked up for a moment, wondering if he would let him view his notes until a sudden realization struck him. He wouldn’t be able to decipher Grim’s terrible handwriting in the first place. His expression slowly turned into one of disappointment—something akin to the feeling of finding out your name wasn’t in the Top 50.
Deuce was the first to comment. “These are….. Notes?”
“Grr! What’s that supposed to mean!?”
“It looks like a bunch of scribbles made by a cat.” Yuu added. Grim was about to be fuming mad until his ears drooped down slightly, Yuu felt a pang hit their chest. Could they possibly be feeling bad?
“Well… I’ll give you an A for effort.” Yuu patted Grim’s head, hoping that they didn’t hurt his feelings too much after that comment. Instead of lifting his spirits up, Grim felt like his soul got crushed. He felt like Yuu pitied him more than actual commendation, but he won’t say anything. He’ll take the crumbs of praise he can get.
Ace straightened up and walked towards the exit, dragging his legs slightly as he called out his friends. “Oi! Let’s go have lunch already, I’m starving!”
“Coming!” Deuce replied before promptly poking Yuu’s shoulder to make sure that they heard Ace.
“Alright, alright. Give me a minute to fix all my stuff, you guys can go ahead.” Grim stared at Yuu, wondering who should he go with—Yuu or Ace and Deuce? He was going to accompany the Heartslabyul Duo until he remembered how Yuu didn’t get to eat breakfast because of him.
He felt a little bit bad for leaving them like this.
He opened his mouth to say that he’s going to stay with Yuu until they suddenly cut into his thoughts like a knife into butter.
“Grim, you can go ahead too. Save a seat for me while you’re at it.”
“Are ya sure?” Grim asked them for reassurance.
“...? Are you going to miss me or something?” Yuu teased.
No way! Nevermind, I’m leaving!”
Yuu watched as the Ace, Deuce, and Grim exited the door before letting their smile drop into a frown. They wondered if today was an okay date to ask the Headmaster about progress on the whole ‘find Yuu a way back home’ thing. But, there was a possibility that their visit to his office will be all for naught. Crowley was someone unpredictable, after all—eccentric is another way to put it nicely.
They tapped their fingers against the desk rhythmically. Dozens of thoughts running inside their head. The chatter outside the classroom cutting their train of thoughts continuously which annoyed them to death but it was something they took comfort in. The nostalgic noises of a bustling school filled with students going on and about.
It reminded them of their homeworld.
Yuu decided to look for Crowley as they stood up from their chair. A nostalgic bitterness lingering in their mouth as they left.
Tumblr media
“Why did I think I would find him today?” Yuu asked no one in particular. Eyes glued to the wall clock as they counted the minutes they had left before break ended and classes started again. They silently dwelled on their regret of visiting Crowley’s office, it was nothing but a waste of time. Now they had less than 30 minutes to go into the cafeteria to get some food.
Each step they took was taxing. They put too much force with every one and perhaps that was a result of getting mad at a useless bird—their temper can’t help but explode a little bit. By the time Yuu arrived, they spotted the idiot trio sitting by the window. They had already finished eating long ago but they were still there. A thought popped into their head.
‘Could it be…? They were waiting for me!?’ Yuu knew it was nowhere near the truth but perhaps they can indulge theirself once in a while with these kinds of thoughts. Grim was the first to spot them.
“Where were you!? Break is almost over.” The grumble Yuu’s stomach let out made their cheeks heat up in embarrassment. Maybe it was because they skipped breakfast? Grim felt bad. This was his fault, wasn't it? Ace and Deuce urged Yuu to go buy something to eat but one look at the line formed by the counter, Yuu immediately declined. They’re going to be late for class if they waited!
Grim stared at the small portion of lunch he set aside for himself for later. Much to no one’s surprise, it was fish. He had a debate with himself—asking if he wanted to keep this or offer it to Yuu. In the end, he went for the latter. He nudged Yuu with his paw before holding up the plate with his two paws.
“Have this if you want… Ya didn’t get to eat breakfast because of me, right? I feel kinda bad but here.”
Ace’s eyes were wide in shock and Deuce dropped his yogurt. Yuu was flabbergasted at the sudden nice gesture Grim was showing but-
“Sorry, but I don’t want rabies.”
Grim had to resist the urge to set everything on fire. Yuu had to bite back a laugh when they saw how mad Grim was—denying everything about him having rabies. The troubles they had about Crowley were long gone and replaced by the bubbling happiness growing in their chest. The sight of their friends—Grim, Ace and Deuce—was enough to convince them to forget about it. Even if it’s just for a short while.
The nostalgic taste danced in the tip of their tongue once again. A sudden wave of sadness washing over them as they thought about the day when they’ll eventually go back to their own world.
I’ll miss this. Definitely.
They looked up to see Grim causing a mess with Ace holding him back and Deuce trying to summon another cauldron. Yuu shook their head.
But, for now, let’s focus on the present.
Is it so bad that Yuu wanted the incompetent headmaster to stay incompetent? Just for a little longer, don’t find a way back.

SMELLY ENCOUNTERS WITH ETHAN. PART 3. BELOW.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
SMELLY ENCOUNTERS WITH ETHAN PT. 3
It had been a good month since my last encounter with Ethan and he took things to a new level by cumming in his dirty sock while he teabagged me and then essentially made me eat the load out of his sock. After that it felt like nothing was off limits. Maybe someday I would be able to taste his actual cock. We hung out a couple times after but he shockingly did not try anything at all with me besides some joke flirting. It was kind of disappointing. I'm not one to ever bring up anything we had done, I wouldn't want to make it awkward. I was on vacation and it was a hot July day. I was driving over to Ethan's house which he just recently bought. My house was having new flooring put in all week, so I was trying to get out of the house as much as possible. I pulled up to his house and he was standing outside. He was wearing black shorts, black and yellow vans, a white tank top and his signature black ball cap. I could see the sweat glistening off his body. He walked up to the window of my car.
“Hey man, do you want to go to the liquor store and grab some beer or something for later?” He asked. I could smell the sweat on him… he must’ve been skating all day.
“Yeah sure, I’m down for whatever, hop in!” I said. Ethan got in the car.
“They still doing your floors?” He asked me.
“Yeah, probably all week…” I said.
“If you want, you can stay at my house this week. I know you are on vacation…” Ethan said glancing over at me.
“Um… sure. That’s really cool of you. Thanks.” I said. I can just imagine… a whole week with Ethan. So many possibilities.
I started to drive. Ethan took his shoe off next to me… the smell instantly filled my car. He was not wearing any socks which is why the smell was probably stronger than usual, more intoxicating. He had some black lint around his toes probably from previous socks he wore in the shoes.
“Fuckin’ pebble or something has been in my shoe all day.” Ethan said as he pulled it out and threw it out the window.
“Dude why aren’t you wearing any socks…” I asked, while secretly thoroughly enjoying the smell.
“All my socks are mad dirty right now… “He said. We got to the store and Ethan slid his shoe back on. I was kind of disappointed. If I wasn’t driving he probably would have tortured me with them. But it was fine… I had a whole week of Ethan now. Ethan went in and came back with a couple 12 packs. I heard the back door open of my car. Ethan had gotten in the back seat behind me. I was quite confused.
“What are you doing?” I asked.
“Just drive… don’t worry about it.” Ethan said.
I started to drive. Soon enough, the potent smell of his sockless feet filled the air again and I knew what his plan was. I suddenly felt one of his feet come up next to my head.
“How would you compare this smell to when I have socks…” Ethan asked.
“This is why you sat back there?” I asked as his foot inched closer to my nose.
“You have no escape while you are driving. Not that I would let you get away anyways.” Ethan said . His other foot came up next to the other side of my head. The smell was incredible.
“They are definitely stronger…” I said as he starting to wipe his sweaty feet on my face.
“Damn right… I could smell them through my shoes all day; I can just imagine what they are like right on your fucking nose…” Ethan laughed. I saw a car start to pass me in the other lane and look over. The guy started to laugh as he saw Ethan’s feet wrapped around my head.
“Dude- someone saw! That’s so embarrassing.” I said as I pushed his feet away.
“Hey I’m giving you a place to stay this week… If I want to make it known that you are my foot bitch, then I will.” Ethan said as he wrapped his toes back around my nose. I was so embarrassed but at the same time, so turned on.
“If I want you to clean my balls off, my feet, my socks… I want you to just do it… no hesitation or resistance. Plus, I know you like it….” Ethan said. I started to blush a bit. Ethan took his stinky sweaty feet off of me and pulled his shoes back on. We arrived at his house. Ethan popped open a beer as did I. We sat on his couch. Ethan once again, pulled his shoes off.
“Hey can you rub them.” Ethan asked. I wasn’t going to bother pretending I didn’t love it anymore.
“Sure.” I said.
“Nah. I want you to say ‘Please Master Ethan, Let me rub your sweaty feet’” Ethan smiled. I gave him a look. And sighed.
“Please Master Ethan- let me rub your sweaty feet” I asked.
“Ok but only because you want to so badly.” He said. He stuck his feet in my lap right on my balls. I started to rub them. They were very wet with sweat. Ethan reached down and grabbed one of his shoes. He put it up to my nose while I rubbed his feet.
“ Do you think it’s time for new shoes yet? “ he asked. I inhaled deeply. They stunk so bad. I nodded my head.
“Hmmm.” Maybe you should check a little longer. Ethan got up and went to the bathroom. He came back shortly holding crusty black sock and duck tape. He put the sock in my mouth and taped it in. He then taped his shoe to my face. Ethan’s crusty sock had a different taste then his fresh ones had. Kind of stale and stiff.
“There… enjoy that for a bit while I get a buzz.” Ethan said. I had no way out. I couldn’t breathe through my mouth and my nose was just filled with the stink from his shoe. I must’ve sat like that for a good 40 minutes. I felt Ethan’s remove the shoe from my face. The fresh air felt cool and refreshing. He pulled the tape off my mouth and I spit out his disgusting sock.
“How can you enjoy that?” Ethan asked looking down at my crotch. I had a huge boner. I couldn’t even hide it.
"Come to the bedroom." Ethan asked. I got up. No clue what he was gonna make me do. Lay down with you head at the foot. And take your pants off" I obliged.
Ethan took his shirt and shirts off to reveal his boxer briefs and his huge bulge. I thought about how amazing his sweaty balls tasted the last time we hung out. Ethan propped up his pillows and sat up in his bed and stuck his feet right in my face again.
"Touch yourself while you sniff and lick my feet." He demanded.
I took a few deep whiffs and started swirling my tongue around and in between his toes. I reached in my underwear and started stroking my cock.
"By the time I'm done with you, you'll never be able to nut again without my stink in your face." Ethan laughed.
A good 10 minutes went by and I felt like I was going to cum. I started to moan a bit. I felt Ethan grab my hand away.
"Nah. You aren't cumming yet." He said.
"Listen. I know you are gay. I don't know what I am but I have all week with you to help me figure it out. All I know is I love you being my bitch and that turns me on." He said.
"I... " I started to speak. But stopped as I saw Ethan pull his cock out of his briefs. It was so beautiful. It was a perfect size. It was uncut. The head glistened with precum. His balls as big as ever.
"I haven't jerked off in about a week. These balls are full. You are gonna help me drain them. " he said. I didn't even wait to be told what to do. I dove my head right in between his legs and took a long whiff of his sweaty huge balls. I could feel his hot cock sliding around my face and his precum going everywhere.
"I have never been sucked by a dude. You think you can take it balls deep down your throat? " Ethan asked. I nodded my head eagerly, nose deep in his sack. Ethan stood up next to the bed.
"Lay down and hang your head off the edge." He said. I did what he told me to. He reached down and opened up my mouth with his fingers. I could see his cock right in front of my face. Before I knew it, the head of his cock was in my mouth. His precum tasted so sweet. I twirled my tongue around the head.
"Yeah. I feel you lapping up that precum. Wait for the main course. It's gonna be a big one. " he said. He thrust his cock in my throat balls deep. His sweaty balls slapping against my nose. They smelled so good. I was glad I hadn't licked them clean yet and miss out on this amazing experience of ball sweat smell. I reached down and started playing with my own dick now. I could literally explode at any moment. I could feel Ethan start to go faster and faster in my throat. Ethan started to go so fast that his balls were just slapping my nose vigorously. I could feel his cock pulsating. He was close.
"Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Ohhhh. Fuckin chug it dude." Ethan said as he exploded into my mouth and down my throat. It was a LOT of cum. It was so sweet and salty and I swallowed every last drop. He pulled out of my mouth. A little bit more cum leaked down on his balls.
"Come on. Don't just watch. Finish cleaning your mess." He said. He lifted his cock and put his balls on my lips. I started licking them clean. And that was it. I couldn't hold it anymore. I started shooting my load all over the place. It was pure ecstacy.
Ethan watched smiling as i sprayed all over my stomach and chest. Ethan layed next to me.
"So I guess you aren't just a foot bitch anymore. But a cum dump too" he laughed.
It was going to be an amazing week.

Control Freak - Grayson Dolan
summary: after Choff production lines CEO (finally) retires, a new boss makes his way into Y/N’s world..
warnings: sexual references/undertones
a/n: another Grayson series, i can’t help myself :)) enjoy!! also, ily <3
Tumblr media
Ugh, he was in one of his moods again.
The office cubicles were hastily bustling with nervousness and terror. At any given moment, the infuriated man, so-called boss, will be bursting through the double doors with a dark red tint across his cheeks and maybe even smoke out of his ears, if you're lucky.
Mr. Kidman has never been good with the whole "patience is a virtue" thing, he's a ticking time bomb at all hours of the day. Nothing ever satisfies him, nor remotely excites him, he just finds something to yell and scream about at some poor unfortunate soul and then continues his merry day. But today, he was furious. He had no empathy for anyone, even his favorite two little secretaries that wear push-up bras like a side-job. Apparently someone had brought him the wrong breakfast order and everything just went downhill from there.
Unlike all the others, you seemed calm and composed amongst all this mayhem, but only because you, and maybe two others, knew that 'Old Angry Kidman' was finally retiring. Yep, freedom at last. Well, unless the new guy, or girl, has terrible anger issues.
So you just sat at your clean and pristine desk, typing another draft and adding it to the plentiful piles saved on your work computer, while soundlessly chewing on a mint piece of gum that substituted for the absence of a tooth brushing the morning of. But your quick finger movements were hushed once Mr. Kidman, as predicted, flew straight through the doors with his signature fiery red face and sweat droplets dotting his thinning hairline. "Every body fucking up! I've fucking had it with all of you." He demands, majority of the room raising from their seats with caution. With his teeth tightly gritted and his lips in a fine line, he swirls his index finger in the air, motioning to all of his terrified workers.
"If it were my fuckin' decision, I'd have each and everyone of you pieces of shits fired and on the streets in point ZERO-TWO seconds. You all are fucking lucky that this is my last day here, son's of bitches." A man of few nice words, that he is. The nicest thing you've ever heard him say was thank you, and that was two years ago. His vulgar and aggressive attitude truly brings the worth of working this job down. If it weren't for the good pay and lack of any other remotely feasible company jobs, you would've quit a long time ago.
But alas, you still endure the inevitable fiery reign of his obstructive wrath on the daily.
-
Dolan is his name.
The new boss, that is. That's the only information you and the rest of the staff knew, besides that he's a male. He hasn't shown up for work yet, or even formally introduced himself. Hell, you don't even know what he looks like. But you were certainly nervous for his arrival.
What if he's just like Kidman, or worse?
It most certainly made you nervous to think that this new guy could ever be worse than Kidman. You were hoping and praying that the he'd at least value his workers and employees.
Everyone, on your office floor, was anticipating the days and hours of his big arrival. No one was certain of when he was going to show up, or if. But nonetheless you were one of the most nervous ones. You held the highest title among your coworkers, except CEO of course, but you were pretty up there when it came to business standards. Everyone seemed to like you as well, your kind nature and natural non-brutal attitude sure did make up for other people's. Of course, you didn't really have an office of your own, because you enjoyed the time spent with the people around you. You truly loved the relationship and humbleness you gained from it. At least you weren't a snotty bitch, right?
There were plenty of little rumors around the workspace that you'd become the new (and improved) owner of this whole entire manufacturing company. Specifically a well known fashion line, Choff. The floor that you, and many of the other leading workers, were on was basically the information database. But from time to time, you'd find yourself strolling through the other, more clothing/model filled areas. Just to see how things were flowing.
Which is actually what you're doing in this moment; running your fingers along the racks filled with hangers that held all the fitted clothing items. It seemed like fun to be down here, measuring and sewing the different outfits to the men and women, but it also seemed stressful. Everyone's always in a rush, with their exploding New York accents and their flailing around all over the place. It's pretty amusing to watch from afar, but you'd be scared to get in anyone's way. They'd probably just run you over and continue their day unaffected.
With that thought in mind, you abruptly come to a stop when you run into the muscular backside of someone, startling you from your stare on the tiled flooring. You uttered a few apologies, taking a step back and straightening your pencil skirt from its newfound wrinkles.
"Lost, darling?" Your eyes trail the floor before you until they're stuck on a pair of shiny dress shoes, attached to a pair of long legs and a broad chest. Your eyes finally landed on the remarkably handsome face, of someone you didn't quite recognize. It wasn't uncommon to stumble across unknown employees, but could it be him?
"Frankly, no." You shortly answer, studying his jaw-dropping features. He was indubitably perfect, without a doubt. With a nicely trimmed beard decorating his beautifully shaped jawline, and big hazel eyes that stared right back at your own, he seemed unearthly. Like he was God's favorite angel sent down from heaven, just to show you a glimpse of what it'd really be like inside the pearly gates. "Are, um, you?" You weren't exactly nervous, just mystified. His recent smile grew into what seemed to be a smirk, while his right side's dimple grew more prominent.
"I'd like to say that I'm not, but I sadly am." He shrugs with a chuckle, sending a wave of unbeknownst pleasure through your ears and fluttering down your spine, until the ends of your toes were satisfied with his deep and raspy voice. "Could you maybe show me around this gigantic place? I've been in need of assistance for the last hour or so." He questions you, dropping his shoulders back and letting his eyes roam your stature before drifting to the interior of the long hallway the two of you are currently standing around in. "I very well could, but I have a dreadful meeting to attend to within the next five to ten minutes." Actually, the meeting was in fifteen minutes. You just simply wanted to see the man's reaction, which wasn't what you though it'd be;
"Perfect, I'll be in attendance for that as well. If you'd so kindly lead the way, I would most appreciate it." He smoothly negotiated, stuffing his right hand, which was tightly wrapped with an expensive looking watch, into his pocket with another grin. He seemed very eloquent with his words and the way he addressed things, it has to be him?
"Do you mind me asking of your name?" You began as you started your trek back to where you came from, your heels quietly clicking from beneath you as you lead the way, him following close behind. "Dolan, Grayson Dolan." He quickly answered. Indeed you were right in thinking he was the new (and maybe improved) CEO of all Choff productions. "New head guy?"
He only nods, to yet another one of your endless questions. "And what's your name, darling?" He asks as the two of you stop at an elevator, his quick hand beating yours to clicking the slightly worn down button. "Y/N Y/L/N, direct head management under you." You relay before boarding onto the empty elevator, the doors closing moments after the two of you were stood side by side. You fidget with the ends of your skirt, staying as calm as possible under his stare that you couldn't help but shrivel under.
"Under me, huh?" You almost gulped at the sound of his double meaninged phrase. Smart guy, hm? Your heart started beating a bit faster the more you thought of his little statement. Your mind became a whirlwind of visuals and fantasies before you could even stop it. Just those two little words had made you all sorts of a mess, and he hasn't even done much of anything. "Don't get too worked up darling, we have a meeting to attend." He chuckles as he steps off the elevator that had opened only seconds ago. You just scoff, your cheeks reddening as you stride right past him, maneuvering through the expanse of people that had just left the staff room, in order for the upcoming meeting to advance.
The moment you were sat in the room and time had passed to where everyone had finally shown up, you felt that lingering feeling of eyes on you. A pair of hazel eyes to be exact, who was sat far from you at the end of the long table. For meeting him not too long ago, he sure did seem comfortable around everyone. It was entirely too soon for you to be liking him already, better yet imagining different scenarios with him as someone boringly rambled. You decided that you'd forget him for the time being and focus on your job, as much as possible.
Though it would be granted as difficult as time moved on..
"That's the conclusion of this meeting. I thank everyone for being here, and I especially appreciate your appearance, Mr. Dolan. I'm happy to say that things around here will continue a lot smoother than it did in the past. And I know most others would agree." Burt Wallace, one of the coordinators, concluded after standing from his seat to dismiss everyone with a nod. While everyone dillydallied in conversations with one another, you in the other hand, hustled straight out of that room and towards the same elevator you had used earlier. The moment you clicked the button, the doors opened wide and you hopped in, tucking yourself in the corner while you gained your breath. You smile to yourself at the successful 'escape' from any questions or perhaps a witty comment from a certain CEO on the loose.
You sigh happily to yourself, watching the doors close again until a hand is stuck between them, pushing them straight back to reveal the man you were somewhat avoiding. "Care if I join you again?" He asked, but he still entered otherwise, clicking one of the many buttons to make the door close. "Did I have a choice?" You almost scoff, feeling his shoulder brush against your own as he stood in the same spot he had previously stood in. "Nah, not really, but I like to seem like a little bit of a gentleman." He answers, the roll of your eyes substituting for the internal scoff that you hadn't let out. The two of you rode in silence for what seemed to be eternity, only the faint sounds of your breaths being heard. As soon as the elevator door clanged and opened, you made a beeline out of there and hustled toward your organized workspace like there was a snake chasing you.
"What's the rush?" Ana Rita, one of the only tolerable women in this entire building, asked as you ducked under your desk. Even though you hadn't looked back to check, you had a feeling he'd follow you, or worse, ask you to meet him in his office. You weren't exactly sure why you were hiding from him, he seemed pretty nice. But he truly intimidated you. Not in a competitive way, more so a physical way. "And why the fuck are you down there?" The redhead crinkled her brows as she looked down her long nose at you. "Just, shhhh!" You bellow quietly, covering your pursed lips with your index finger.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck. Hot man, six o'clock! Get your ass out of there!" She violently whispered at you, frantically tidying herself for the "hot man," presumably Mr. Dolan as you had predicted, approached your desks. You tightly hug your knees from under your desk, praying to god that he wouldn't somehow see you. "After noon, sir, may I help you?" You cringe at the seductive tone lined in her voice, something that Mr. Dolan unfortunately probably gets a lot of. "I'm looking for Ms. Y/L/N, I have some issues to discuss with her." Yet again, his girthy voice made you sigh with comfort. It's extremely calming to listen to.
"She's actually right here—" Ana, the little asshole she is in this moment, points straight at you as you plead with your eyes and shake your head vigorously. You suddenly see his handsome head peer over at you, his brows scrunched with confusion. "Uhm, cords were messed up, gotta fix them." You awkwardly chuckle, patting the outlet box stuffed with all your monitor's cords. You bring yourself out from below your desk as the two stared at you, dusting your front side and settling down in your office chair with a nervous smile.
"I'd like to have a word with you, in my office."

Death Of Me Chapter 2.2

Songs- Everything I Did To Get To- Ben Platt
"Nice camera, where'd you dig up that relic?" JJ asked, as we peered over the large wooden fence looking into the construction site.
"Why didn't you use your phone?" JJ asked another question.
"First of all, I like my antique electronics. Second of all, it's a telephoto. It allows me to get a close image from far away." Pope zoomed in.
"Do you think you'll be okay because of the rain?" I asked.
Ward came running by, a second later Gavin did as well.
"I found something." JJ motioned us over. "We gotta go up top."

3POV
"It's all I could get right now, all right? It's what I had. I got some at the bank, but if I take anymore, it's gonna trigger their alarms, and you don't want that." Ward threw the heavy duffel bag filled with bills at Gavin.
"I knew this would happen." Gavin yelled, fueled with anger from knowing he helped a crime get covered up.
"There's nothing happening, I got you the money. Now, give me the gun. Let's go." Ward tried to persuade Gavin to give him what he wanted.
"You're not getting the gun. They called my house. They're onto you Ward, I didn't want to be in this. I don't want to go to jail" Gavin backed away.
"You're not going to jail, all right? Now give me the gun."
"You gotta pay me, Ward. It's my lifeboat. I'm not giving it to you until you pay me."
"Gavin, give me the Goddamn gun." Ward became visibly upset.
Demi Pov
They started fighting, I grabbed JJ's hand, scared about what was going to happen."
BANG! I could see Gavin fall to the floor, I gasped scared of what I just witnessed.
"Murder!" Kiara yelled. Pope tried to keep her quiet, while struggling, she kicked our evidence and broke it.
===
"What did I tell you about hanging around with these people, Demetria?" My dad was furious, as his partner was taking statements from Kiara.
"They are no good! And you should have learned that by now!"
"How would you know what's good for me? You are never there Dad!"
"Your mother and I have worked way too hard to get you where you are today for you to mess it up." He yelled back.
"Where am I? Stuck in a toxic relationship with a murderer?"
"DEMETRIA JANE ENOUGH! You are no longer to see these people again, especially that one, he's just like his father." He pointed to JJ.
"No, These are my friends, they care about me, especially JJ!" I fought back.
"You're coming with me." He said.
"No, I'm not." I stomped back to my car.

He was mine. Whenever something went wrong, I always wanted him.
"Rafe?" I sat on his bed next to him while he was sleeping.
"Huh?" He jolted awake, smiling when he saw my face.
I just started crying.
"Baby, No, please don't cry." He held me. "Here, go change and we can just talk"
I was in the bathroom changing when I heard Ward come in.
"Rafe? I need your help?" His dad whispered.
I heard them leave the room. I snuck over to his window, so I could see what was going on outside.
Ward uncovered something, it was Gavin's body, I saw Rafe freak out.
I wanted to listen in but I knew that would only dig me deeper.
===
I got woken up by the sound of Rafes bike driving away and a text from JJ
JJ
Come to the construction site in clothes
that you're ok with climbing in a gutter in.

"I hate you" I hopped out of my car, putting my sunglasses on.
"Morning." He tried to give me a big hug to make me feel better.
"Why am I the one who got volunteered for this?" I asked.
"Because Kie is helping her parents today, and JJ and I don't fit, we have no other friends so, tada." Pope said.
"Love how I was your last resort. And you could totally fit in there." I groaned.
"Truth is, there's this worm that can get into you and it has to come out of your..." JJ started.
"Jesus." I crawled in.
"You owe me, Like lunch." I said crawling
"What do I know now?" I accidentally touched something.
I shrieked.
"Demi? What's wrong?" JJ asked.
"There is something dead in here!" I yelled.
"Is it Gavin?"
"I don't know?" "Well don't touch it! That is how you get the worms!"
"Demi, do you see the Gun?" JJ yelled.
Suddenly a rush of water started to fill up the pipes.
"JJ! Pope!" I yelled.
I saw the gun next to me and I grabbed it, I floated up to the manhole cover and took deep breaths.
The boys arrived and tried to lift it, my head went underwater and I started losing consciousness.
They got the cover off and lifted me up.
I immediately started coughing and breathing for air.
"Demi, you good?" JJ asked. I held out a thumbs up.
"I got it." I pulled it out from behind me
"You guys go to the station, I need to go clean up." I was getting a call.
"It's loverboy." JJ handed me my phone.
"Hey babe, Is everything ok." I put him on speaker.
"Uh, yea I was just wondering if you could come over tonight? Because my dad just invited me to fly to the Bahamas with him, for business." Rafe said The boys looked at me with wide eyes.
"Yeah, I'd just have to pass that by my parents." I scratched the back of my head.
"Remember Demi, I'm doing this all for us."
"I know, I'll see you later okay?"
"Yeah, I love you."
"I love you too." I hung up.
"Hard to say, but I think you definitely make him a better man, not much, but a better man." Pope said, handing me an extra shirt I packed.
"Thanks, take it as my contribution to society." I put the shirt on.
"But did you hear that! Ward is taking Rafe to the Bahamas, they are doing something with the gold." JJ changed topics.
"Demi, you need to get closer to Rafe, to figure out what they are doing there." JJ continued making a plan.
"I think they've gotten as close as they can." Pope said.
"Ew, Pope, no don't say that." I gagged.
"Anyway, you take that down to my dad, I'll go handle whatever is happening over there." I said before getting in my car.
===
"Rafe's upstairs." Rose said.
"Thanks! Oh, Congrats on the new listing by the way!" I smiled.
I walked into his room to immediately be met by his lips on mine.
===
"Call me when you get there." I leaned over the car door so I could talk to Rafe.
"I will, I promise." He kissed me.
"And, I rented us a hotel room, for the night of my 17th birthday so hurry back soon." I whispered in his ear causing him to kiss me even more passionately.
"Okay love birds, we have to go, so say your goodbyes." Ward chuckled.
"I love you." I pecked him one more time.
===
3 POV
Nassau, Bahamas
"Rafe, I didn't just bring you here because I need your help, I want to show you something." Ward set down his bags on the couch next to the back door.
"Is this the deal you've been working on?" Rafe eagerly followed his Dad outside.
"You could say that." Ward punched in the code to the fireproof safe and unlocked it, he pulled the heavy door open and revealed all of the tanny hill gold that he stole from John B.
"Is that real?" Rafe asked, not knowing what else to say.
"Son, that's the realest thing there is."
"And some of the money I get from this deal, is going towards you and Demi's future, because you, my son, are my legacy. You will take over the reins when I pass away, and you two will be running the show." Ward handed him a gold bar.
===
Demi POV
I was out at lunch with JJ, as he promised, when I got a phone call
Incoming call from... Rafe Cameron❤ Accept|Decline
"Hey my love." I answered, JJ gagged, "I'm good, did you guys get to Nassau okay?" I flipped JJ off.
"Put him on speaker!" JJ whispered loudly.
"Sorry, what?" I gasped, Putting him on speaker.
"You know that business he brought me here to do?" he said. Kiara and Pope came over.
" Yeah, why?" I asked, already knowing the answer.
"It's the gold, Demi, my dad has the gold from the royal merchant. And he said after he gets the money from the trade, he will give us 5 million, for our future." I almost choked on my food at the number.
"Rafe, we can't take that much, it is too generous." I tried to reject the gift.
"Demi, It's Ward, I love you like one of my own, and I would like to help you and Rafe get settled down. Because when I pass away, you two will need to step up and take over, both of you."
"It would help us start our future, like we talked about."
"I- I don't know what to say, Th-thank you." I was freaking out.
"I'll call you later?" Rafe said.
"Yeah. I love you." I hung up.
"Are you really going to take the money?" JJ asked.
"No of course not!" I threw a fry at him.
"God, Rafe is really in love with you huh?" Kiara chuckled.
"Yeah, he is." I sighed.
I am a horrible person, I am, I really am. Is loving Rafe Cameron a punishment for not being thankful for what I have, because this is starting to seem like one big sick joke.

The first week of classes at UA went by with ease. Hero training was intense, a current focus on strength building right now, but Mr.Aizawa was already speaking about a future plan to start working on quirk development and teamwork.  The academic classes quickly started to pick up in lessons, tests and deadlines already approaching. You found the material pretty mundane, topics you had studied before. However, like she had promised, Hado did frequently need help.
She asked for help during Friday afternoons, a way to review the week’s materials. The two of you were seated in your living room, the Musutafu heat still brutal. Hado was sprawled out on your floor, acting as if she was about to melt. Beads of sweat formed along your hairline, you peered over your books to look at Hado.
“Hado, it really isn’t that warm. You need to do this work before it gets late.”
Hado groaned, rolling from her back to her stomach, resting her head on her hands. “C’mon L/N!” We should at least take a break! You can’t work in this heat!”
You rolled your eyes. You had to admit to yourself, a break did sound sort of nice. “Fine, but after that we need to do things. We have a math test on Monday.”
You hopped up, getting a few popsicles from the freezer. You brought them back, offering her a cherry one. She humed contently, taking the popciple into her mouth, licking at it. You enjoyed your own, giving into the heat.
“We’ll start doing team ups in training soon, and I was thinking about it.” Hado’s voice was casual. She still managed to take you by surprise every time she brought up hero training. She never seemed like the kind to be thinking that far ahead.
“What about?”
“Well, as great as you are, you're not good for combat like Amajiki or I would be.”
You tried to hold back your displeasure. You were aware you didn’t have a conventional quirk for being a hero. You couldn’t really teach all the rats in the world combat, and rats are only so deadly. Hand to Hand combat wasn’t something you were particularly keen with, so that was out of the question. You were going to fall behind soon if you didn’t figure it out. You knew you wouldn't be a combat hero, you were best off being a rescue and recovery hero, but you still had to pull ahead in class somehow.
“But, I think you could play an3 important role in our teams!”
Your eyes locked with Hado’s as she bit off the end of her popsicle. You gave her a look that tried to convey you wanted to hear more. She looked at you, whispering a small ‘oh!’.
“See, Amajiki is really good at close combat. And I’m good at far away combat. But, if we are both busy, we can’t see what's happening around us. Because if we want to fight off villains while also rescuing, we need a third person, and that's you, L/N-chan!”
You blinked, following her. She was smarter than she would ever let on, once you get over the fact she struggles with math. “Are you suggesting that I would play some kind of control center type role?”
Hado nodded, “Mhm! You are like, the one keeping us safe, while also doing the rescuing to let us focus more on the fighting! Then, if it gets bad, you can come in like backup!” She threw a handful of fake punches, pretending like she was fighting some invisible villain, eventually falling to play dead. She whispered through her pretend dead act, “See, this is when you come to rescue me.”
A small smile grew on your face, finding her amusing. You didn’t know many heroes who worked in a support hero role. Thinking on it, you suppose a hero like Mr.Aizawa or 13 are the closest you could think of. The idea wasn’t undesirable, it was probably better for you.
“If you wanted to try it out, I think that Amajiki and his friend, Toagta, are going to go train tomorrow morning. We could always join them.”
You shrugged. “Maybe, we need to do this week’s academics first. You can't be a hero if you flunk out of first year.”
***
No human should ever willingly wake up before the sun is up. But, there Hado was, throwing tiny pebbles at your window at the crack of dawn. You had learned a few things about Hado in the week you’ve known her: She was incredibly stubborn, She was extremely kind, She was smarter than she let on, She was never going to understand the quadratic equation, And she was never tired.
You threw the covers off you, opening the window. The summer air was cooler now, waking you up by sending a chill up your spine. You yelled down at her as quietly as you could. “Hado! What the hell are you doing?”
“L/N, are you not a morning person?” She pouted, not appreciating her harsh language.
“It’s…” You looked at your alarm clock, horrified, “It’s 4AM Hado! What do you want?”
“Training with the boys, silly! C’mon, the train leaves in, like, 20 minutes!”
You rolled your eyes. You were already awake, might as well go. You threw on some hero tee shirt and shorts, pulling a zip-up jacket over your shoulders. You ran down the stairs, leaving a note for your grandad, and left the house.
Hado waited at the door, rolling between the balls of her feet and her heels. “C’mon slow poke! We’re going to be late!”
Nejre linked elbows with you, pulling you alongside her. The two of you sprinted to the pretty much empty train, hopping on right before it rook off. The two of you stood together, holding into the upper rail. Hado smiled, watching the land and city pass by through the window.
You hadn’t done any training with someone, or really much training at all. You had done some stamina training and a little muscle work, but when it came to the entrance exam, no one was really sure what to expect, so you didn't have much of an idea for what training to do beforehand. You knew that one on one training with Hado and Amajiki was maybe possible- you weren't sure either of them had any idea how to do hand to hand combat either.
The train stopped at your platform, Hado flashing you her sweet smile before walking out. You followed behind her, like a baby duck following its mother. The two of you made your way to the beach, the morning sun slowly rising from the sky.
“I’m not really sure what to expect, honestly. I think Amajiki said his friend had a really powerful quirk though.”
You nodded, remembering Amajiki’s friend. He was the blond who frequently could be caught frequently staring at you unapologetically. You kinda remember his dark blue eyes, they were always somewhat inviting and equally unsettling.
The two of you finally approached the beach, Amajiki’s figure able to be made out in the morning’s shadow. Hado ran before you, messing with Amajiki’s hair when she reached him, thanking him for inviting you both. You gave him a small wave, which he returned with a small nod.
“Mirio is over there, he was stuck in something. He is probably fine now.”
“Stuck?” you asked, confused about what someone could get stuck in at the beach at close to 5 AM.
“His quirk- sometimes he gets a little stuck in objects.”
Hado giggled, “C’mon sillies! Let’s go!” She locked grabbed both of your wrists, both of you being drug behind her as she wandered into the beach.
Hado and you ended up seperating from the other two, Hado walking you through how to use your upper arm as a defense from someone else’s punch. You weren’t bad at the blocking part, it was the anticipating and timing that kept throwing you off. The two of you were just taking turns at throwing fake punches at the other, quickly getting into a rhythm.
“Do you know what you want your hero name to be? We get to pick those soon.” Hado threw a jab your way, your arm barely making it up intime to shield your face.
You shook your head, throwing one back at her. “Not really-”
Hado shrugged as she flawlessly defended herself. She was defending herself easily but her jabs felt weaker in comparison to yours. She threw a jab at you, your arm not reaching her in time, her weak blow landing in your shoulder.
You looked at her defeated. She moved her shoulder in circles. “L/N, you need to teach me how you throw punches. Mine are weak.”
You tossed your jacket aside. “Well, with a quirk like yours you really don't need to be able to throw punches. You have a distance advantage.”
Hado beamed, “You remembered!”
You shrugged, “It was a solid plan, Hado. I remember good ideas.”
The two of you heard a large bang in the distance. Amajiki looked like he had somehow turned his arms into long strands of seaweed, trapping Togata. Except-
“Is he naked?” Hado said it before you could. Togata was most definitely naked, and he was waving at the two of you from a small confinement of seaweed that definitely did not hide more than you wanted to see.
Hado broke into a fit of laughter as your face turned bright red. You had never talked to Togata, but you had somehow already seen him naked.
Hado pulled you behind her as she ran to the boys.
“Amajiki, you can turn into more than just animals?!”
Your face was still burning red as you avoided the glances Togata was most definitely sending your way. His voice was chipper as He broke himself free from Tamaki’s comfinments. “His quirk lets him manifest to living things- plants are technically living.”
“Could he turn into a person then, like if he ate their blood or flesh or something?” Hado poked at Amajiki’s seaweed arm that was still attempting to cover Togata’s privates.
Amajiki looked at Hado with panicked eyes and babbled about anxiously, “Why would I ever eat a human-”
Toagata pulled a pair of pants on, “Sorry about that ladies, it's hard to control my pants when I use my quirk!”
Hado smiled innocently, somehow unphased by the very naked boy infront of her. “It's alright! My name is Nejire Hado, and this is my friend Y/N L/N! She’s a little anti-social, so you won't hear much from her.”
You looked at the ground, mumbling. “I’m not anti-social, just uninterested in conversation right now.”
Togata fastened the belt on his pants, “Oh well that's too bad! I’ll just have to talk to you another time!”
You let out a “mhm” trying to be polite, but it was hard when you had just seen this kid naked. Hado didn’t seem to pick up on your discomfort. “Togata, you’ll have to ask L/N about her quirk sometime, it's really cool! Oh! And she can tell you about hero equipment! She knows all about it.”
You rolled your eyes, “I don’t know all about it, just basic stuff. I’m able to read, I'm not a support student.”
Togata smiled warmly, “That's still more than me. I’ve never been a good student,  that's why I wasn’t able to get into 1-A!”
You blinked. How was he so upbeat while literally calling himself dumb?
“Well, me and L/N need to go finish up our training! We’ll see you boys later.” Hado sang the end of her statement, waving the two a goodbye. Tamaki nodded and Mirio waved frantically as the two of you wandered off to finish some training.
When you were gone, Mirio turned to Amajiki. “Tamaki, what is L/N’s quirk?”
“Something with rats. She’s able to control them somehow. I’ve really only ever seen her use it a few times.”
Mirio’s smile grew into a small frown, a finger scratching his chin as he watched you and Hado throw some more punches around.
“That seems like a neat quirk, why wouldn’t she want to develop it.”
Amajiki smiled, almost laughing. He placed a gentle hand on Mirio’s shoulder, smiling at the blond. “Not all of us are praised for our quirks, Mirio. She may still need to come around to it.”
Mirio nodded, looking at the violet haired boy. “Huh. Alright.” Mirio watched a little longer as you nailed Hado in the shoulder, frantically apologizing. He smiled softly, something about you undeniably drawing him in. “Let’s go mess around more, Tamaki. I bet if you ate some crab you could make little pinchers!”

Makoto wasn't sure whether to smile or frown as he stared at the bracelet adorning his wrist, fiddling with it with his other hand. It was a little worn, though you could hardly see where he'd had to mend it when he caught it on that fence last year and it snapped, but even after 4 years of wearing it constantly the colours were as bright as the day you'd given it to him, the green heart embedded in the blue standing out as much as ever. It had been on his mind a lot recently- or rather, what you'd said when you gave it to him had.
-
You hopped up to him at lunch time, a sad sort of smile on your face. He knew why. You were graduating middle school in two days, and you weren't going to the same high school. You'd admitted to him a few weeks before that you were scared to face the world without him, that you didn't want him to stop being your friend just because you didn't see each other every day. He'd been a little too embarrassed to admit that he felt the exact same way. "Hey, I made you something. It's a little silly but... I want you to wear it all the time, okay? So that even when you're old and you can't remember your own name, you'll have a reminder that once upon a time, in middle school, we were best friends." He grinned as you showed him the blue friendship bracelet. He didn't even know you knew how to make them, but he admired your handiwork and held his wrist out for you to tie it on. It was only when you'd done so that he was the green heart you'd sewn onto it. "Not just in middle school," he reassured you, "just because we're going to different high schools doesn't mean I'll forget about you."
-
He'd been right, too. The two of you were in your third year now, and your friendship was as firm as ever. Of course, the different high schools situation had changed once Yumenosaki had opened up the producer course and you'd transferred (something you hadn't told him until you surprised him on your first day there), but even in your first year he'd cycled over to your house every night he had free. You'd always fussed over how he had the energy to do that, with how strenuous idol work can be, but he was insistent that you didn't worry about him too much. And now you were at Yumenosaki, he walked you home every day, just like he had in middle school. He was grateful for your ongoing presence in his life, but recently... He wanted things to change. Not in the sense that he didn't want you around anymore- as if he could ever want that- it was more like he wanted to see you more, if that was even possible.
He'd often catch himself thinking about you in a way he didn't know he could- about holding your hand or waking up next to you, about how nice it would be to be your boyfriend. It was bugging him endlessly. How could he fall in love with his best friend? That was something that belonged in slice of life manga and cheesy sitcoms, not real life. Not his life. Not when you had so many better options out there than him, when half the guys in your year were vying for your attention for less than professional reasons- and he knew that every one of them was likely better suited to you than he was. "Hey, what's on your mind?" Makoto nearly jumped out of his seat when you appeared next to  him, a concerned look on your face "O-oh! Nothings wrong, I'm fine." "I didn't ask if anything was wrong, doofus, but the fact that you answered like I did tells me you definitely just lied to my face. Cmon, out with it." "No really, I-I'm okay!" You frowned at him, pulling out the chair next to him and taking a seat. "When did you start hiding things from me?" "W-what?" "I feel like you don't tell me anything anymore... What happened to the Makoto who'd tell me everything, right down to how long it took you to eat your lunch? When did you stop wanting to share things with me?" You looked sad- heartbroken even- as you stared at your best friend. But that was just it. He'd always be your best friend, and nothing more. He'd thought he was okay with that, but he was beginning to realise he wasn't. "I don't know, I... I guess people just grow apart." He knew, the second he said it, that it was the wrong thing to say, and the tears pricking your eyes as you nodded and silently left the classroom confirmed it.
You didn't wait for him that evening. He arrived at the spot the two of you had used as a meeting place since you'd started at Yumenosaki and found nobody there. You didn't pick up when he called you, either, and the walk home was painfully silent without your company. He'd screwed up majorly, all because he couldn't stand to tell you he was in love with you. And he didn't know whether he'd be able to pick up the pieces or not.
But he knew he had to try.
This wasn't like him. Normally he'd call you before heading to your house, it was rude to drop by unannounced, but this time he didn't even think about it. (You'd likely not pick up anyway.) It wasn't until he turned onto your street that he even realised what he was doing, that he'd cycled all the way here without making a conscious choice to do so. Whether it was the fear of losing you forever or some miraculous bout of previously unfound confidence that saw him climbing the tree outside your window and knocking on it like some anime protagonist you guys would definitely make fun of together, he didn't know. All he knew was that when you opened the curtains you looked like you'd been crying- and that you shut them again the second you saw him. He slumped back on the branch he was sitting on, not ready to give up but feeling a little defeated, when he heard the door open below him.
"Makoto! What the hell are you doing up there?!" "I need to talk to you." "Ever heard of knocking?" "I didn't think you'd answer." "You could've tried!  Ugh, will you just get down from there, please? I'm having horrible visions of you with your head splattered on the sidewalk." He nodded and made his way out of the tree, trying not to think about how cute it was when you covered your eyes so you wouldn't have to see if he fell.
"I...I didn't mean what I said earlier." "I know." "You do?" "Yeah! I mean, come on. I know you better than anyone- if that was really how you felt you’d wanna talk about it, give me the reasons. You’re always so gentle with people, even when you don’t like them." "When you didn't walk home with me today I thought maybe I'd messed up beyond repair." "I was upset. Even if you didn't mean it, it hurt. And you've been so distant lately. I don't wanna lose you. Ever." "I don't wanna lose you either." The way you smiled at him warmed his heart, but your next words put a knife right through it. "Good. You're stuck with me as a best friend forever, whether you like it or not."
Makoto couldn't take it. He knew he wasn't good enough for you. You deserved a boyfriend who could sweep you off your feet, not some dork who's only romantic knowledge came from manga. But... even if it was unfounded, he had to have hope. He had to tell you how he felt.
"Y/N, look, I- I need to tell you something." "What is it?" "I-" The words stuck in his throat. You stared at him expectantly as he tried to get them out, but they wouldn't go, no matter how much he stuttered. Now was not the time for him to freak out and forget how to speak. He'd cycled over here and climbed a tree, for God's sake, and now he couldn't even say what he wanted to. He couldn't help but think that this was why you deserved better than him. "Makoto? Are you okay?" "Yes, I just-” He took a deep breath before finally blurting it out, so fast you could barely make out what he was saying. “I'm in love with you and I have been for like a year and I thought I could be okay with just being your best friend- and if you tell me to shut up and never talk about this again then I will, I'll be happy to be in your life in any capacity- but I knew I couldn't live with myself if I didn't try, you know? You're just so perfect and I know you deserve better than what I can offer you and it's so stupid for me to think I have a chance in hell but-" "Makoto!" "Y-yes?" "Will you shut the hell up and kiss me already?" "I- what?" "Oh, I have to do everything myself, don't I?" He was still processing what you'd said when you pulled him in for a kiss, cupping his face gently with your hands. It took him a minute to come to terms with the fact that you were kissing him, but eventually he settled his arms around your waist and melted into it. You pulled away abruptly when something cold and wet landed on your forehead, squinting up at the sky. As if the night hadn't played out enough like some cheesy romance film, snow began to fall around you.
"I probably should’ve worn a coat, huh..." "Oh my god, come inside before we both freeze to death!" "Will your parents be okay with that?" "Of course they will, it's you." You reached for his hand to pull him inside, but stopped when you noticed something. "Hey... you're still wearing the bracelet." "'Course I am. You told me to wear it all the time." You grinned up at him, giving him a soft peck on the lips. "I guess that heart means something different now, though." Makoto's real heart swelled in his chest. Being with you was... Well, it felt like something out of a fairytale, or one of those dreams that waking up from upsets you because it's not real. "Yeah. I guess it does."
