While Cain owns Zander does he ever think back to this? Especially when Zander misbehaves? Like when he can't control Zander he sees himself as useless hence why he'd batter Zander for not kneeling down etc.

And

Does puppy Cain remember this and think his father was right he could never control Zander and so became a useless dog?

1. Oh absolutely :) all the time :) Zander’s behavior is a constant reminder to him of the ways he’s failed and the way he’s not good enough to be where he is today and that just makes him so much angrier

2. Also yes! Not only does he think this but Nicholas also frequently tells him his father was right, he is absolutely useless
