When Batman is out in his cowl he is able to record anything so that he can few it later. The faces he sees will run through a program for face recognition. This makes it easier to recognize faces of potential villains civilian identities. Because of that, the camera system of Wayne Enterprises is also linked to the program. The problem is, the same things applies to his league colleagues.

Of course he already knows the identity of most of them, but that is because they told him or he found out on pure accident.

But because of this he takes his colleagues faces out of the program. As long as they don't go rouge he sees no reason to infringe on this part of their life.

Well at least that is what he normally does, but he didn't bother with Phantom. Not only are there few cameras that can even catch him. He is also a dead, fourteen years old boy.

So really, it isn't Bruce fault. If he had known that Danny Phantom had a civilian identity, he would have gone through the trouble of blocking his face in the program.

But now a young man in his early twentieth sat before him, with a nervous smile on his face. And he is making puns. Daniel Fenton (and God they needed to talk about a better hero name, now that he knew the boy had a very similar civilian name) was the negative of Phantom. Black hair, blue eyes, older and alive.

But he could scold him later, after the job interview was over and Bruce found a way to explain to Danny that his new boss was also a founder of the Justice League.

That wouldn't be fun...

I love Halloween (although Christmas is my favorite holiday, which I share why later) and someone not too long ago asked me why it was a bunch of queer people's favorite holiday.

Well this is my answer to this question;

Easter, Christmas, Hanukkah, etc. (I would state more but I'm tired) are all are religious holidays for one, and religion has not been very kind to LGBTQIA2S+ folk. (Also that Easter and Christmas are christian holidays specifically.) And the fact that they are all holidays that you celebrate around family usually.

Christmas can be a really hard time for any queer person particularity transgender people as they can get dead-named and go through major gender dysphoria (if they experience it) and sometimes just blatant harassment. From family members!!!!

As you can imagine it can be a really hard time because you want to love them, as much as you can, because you do, you really do love your family. But being around them can cause so much pain and mental health issues and trauma that it's hard to enjoy it all.

That's why a lot of queer people enjoy Halloween because it's not terribly familial and you get to dress up and be whomever you want to be. Wouldn't that be any closeted, and/or not-accepted queer person's dream?

So as a message to everyone (probably like the five people that's going to read this, let's be honest) this holiday season, be kind to your queer friends and family members and to yourself. It's okay to dread going to your family's place and it's okay to not even go. Don't feel guilty, if it's improving your life then it's a good thing.

At the start I also mentioned that Christmas is my favorite holiday and that's because I have a pretty good family. Sure, they've grown in the last couple of years but my parents went above and beyond for Christmas always, and as a kid that was just the best feeling. (Also when I came out as Bi at thirteen they got me pride stuff so-)

Now my parents still go above and beyond but they've decided to make their own traditions (now that we're all older now lol) and not go over to my grandmother's house on Christmas as we would all usually do in the past. There are just lots of family members there and a LOT of opinions and I don't want to debate upon my existence thank you very much.

What I'm saying though, if you're a parent and you have a queer kid, make their Christmas the best because those memories they will have forever and will cherish them if you make some sort of effort for Christmas to be inclusive.

You don't even have to be a parent, you could be a sibling, an cousin, any type of family member! Being more inclusive, or even just making quiet jokes will help them out.

That's it folks, it's time for delusion to put on some Christmas music now. ;)

Genuinely crying at work rn. They have thousands of old photos (from the 50s to the 90s) they asked me to scan (so they can create a digital archive). Today I found a photo from a 80s protest with a banner that says "FOR THE PALESTINIAN CHILDREN". It's been 40 years. It has been a lot more than that, actually. And still.

I hate, hate, HATE the term “affordable housing.” I hate that we’ve normalized it. I hate that we just accept that the majority of housing, a basic human right, is unaffordable to much of the population. Housing should be affordable as a baseline. If rich people want to add arcades and gold-plated hot tubs on top so be it, but everyone, everyone, regardless of income level, should have access to a clean, comfortable home with enough light and space to make life worth living.
