I just spent 3 hours with the most amazing 7-9 yrs olds that I’ve ever met. All of them hooked to IV’s as they had time to come to this playroom and just be kids. All of them very ill, most without hair, all currently going through chemo. (Due to HIPAA regulations I can’t show photos of them) but they were brave, and resilient, and funny, but most of all they were kids. I laughed with them, had to step out the room once or twice to compose my emotions a few times. But I loved every second I spent here. I bought some puzzles and coloring books and candy for them and took some pictures where allowed.
