Hang In There (1 Corinthians 7:17-24)
“Being human is not hard because you're doing it wrong, it's hard because you're doing it right. You will never change the fact that being human is hard, so you must change your idea that it was ever supposed to be easy.” Glennon Doyle
Nevertheless, each person should live as a believer in whatever situation the Lord has assigned to them, just as God has called them. This is the rule I lay down in all the churches. Was a man already circumcised when he was called? He should not become uncircumcised. Was a man uncircumcised when he was called? He should not be circumcised. Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is…

2. Face-to-face: whether that’s in the booth or in another location.
3. I haven’t been to Confession. This is for people raised Catholic that have gone either not at all or only once to receive First Communion.
4. No preference. You don’t have a preference for confession.

I'm literally going feral at that new Cody pic that shows off his pit. Like, foaming at the mouth. There are not enough good shots of his pits and this one is just... amazing. Wish it was a bit closer, but I also wish that I could bury my face in there and lick it to my hearts content, and we don't always get what we want
Gotta feed his pit gays!

I think the one thing that would really disappoint me is if they make Eddie more religious or start going to church again. I really like the skeptical/agnostic/anti-superstitious part of his character. It contrasts so well with Chimney's hyper-superstitions, Bobby's devout religious practice, Hen being more casually invested, and Buck's vague interest in anything generally supernatural.
I know the Catholic guilt, nun-Marisol, plotline was played only half seriously. I do think unpacking Eddie's religious trauma makes sense. Especially if (but really only if) he's going to be questioning his sexuality this season or next season.
But I like how often he goes, 'Fate is not real, omens are not real, curses are not real, and I do not pray to a saint.' I think it means a lot for how Eddie thinks about autonomy and personal responsibility. I think it explains his willingness to accept that some things are random without necessarily moralizing them to the extent some other characters do.
I like the idea of an Eddie who went through a Catholic upbringing and concluded: No, actually. I don't believe bad things happen because people deserve them. I don't believe there's a cosmic force that has control of my life. I don't believe this is the only path to the truth, or to right and wrong.

Hello father, it's been a while since you last heard my um...sinful confessions, BUT IT MUST BE SAID AND CONFESSED. While Cody is deep in my guts, our passionate eyes meet each other, we kiss, and he kisses my forehead and says,
"im leaving my DNA in you, metaphorically breeding you. Im marking you with my seed, daily reclaiming you as my property. Even if you don't literally produce offspring, breeding you is part of what makes you my possession."
I have the same fantasy, but I'm the one breeding him hehe 😏
