it's weird being into fashion and skateboarding but also being vehemently anti-capitalist because these are two interests that are kind of difficult to disconnect from big corporate marketing and brand names
whether it's big money fashion designers making experimental fits or fast fashion corps pumping out knockoff slop
or with skating you have classic big name brands founded by and sponsoring several pro skaters or some shit like zumiez
like it's really hard to separate those brand corpo "buy stuff" vibes from these hobbies idk
support your local skateshops and thrift stores if you got em

New @ nikesb mid blazer pecan curry -------------------------------------------------------------- • For educational purposes Compared to the Dunk Low and High, the "Nike Mid Sb blazer"  has had a lackluster season, only appearing a few times throughout the past few months. But here, we’re finally seeing the silhouette return true-to-form, offering up a classic colorway that’s indicative of Fall. A wheat shade is used throughout the upper, giving every instance of suede a season-appropriate feel. The laces, lining, and branded text follow suit, with the latter’s label dressed a slightly lighter caramel hit. The Swoosh along the side pops in its orange hue, matching the leathers of the heel tab adjacent. All is then plopped atop a thick white midsole, literally grounding the pair with a familiar element. #nikesb #paint #education #nike #foreducation #sneakerheads #skate #skatelifestyle #skateshop #streetshop #curry #rair #rairpaint #footwears #feet #sneakermodel #pecan #fallcolors (at Los Angeles, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cf-VEsGMzJQ/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Marvel Masterlist | Full Masterlist
A/N: Thank you for requesting, enjoy!! I hope this reaches what you hoped for! 🙂
Request by @n1ghtlux: I'm so happy to see you write for Andrews Peter Parker, this version will always hold a very dear place in my heart. Unfortunately I've been stuck with writer's block but I've had this idea for a while now and I'd love for you to pick it up. Reader works at a skateshop, that's how Peter knows her since he's always breaking decks and ruining ball bearings. At this point it feels like he's doing it on purpose just to get to talk to her again. But for the first time he sees her at the skate park and is absolutely mesmerized by the way she almost seems to fly over obstacles with such grace (we hinting at superpowers here???) "You following me?" - "what? No, no! I was just- and then you-" *does awkward whooshing sound "relax Parker, I'm messing with you. Here watch this." etc.
Summary: Working at Wheel's on Fire had its perks, especially when Peter Parker came in unannounced. The two of you knew one another from school but had separate friend groups. However, you still managed to run into each other whether it be at school or the skateshop you worked at.
Notes:
Y/N/N: Your nickname
Wheel's on Fire -> the skate shop you work at.
Warnings: none
Peter Parker x-reader
"That'll be $20.00s," I said, setting the bag of items down. The customer reached into her purse to pull out the cash. She took out a twenty dollar bill from the leather wallet sitting at the bottom of her purple purse. She set the money on the counter then went back to her phone that sat in her hands. The girl twirled her hair around, not bothering to look up. I put the money into the lower part of the register.
"Would you like your receipt?" I questioned. The blonde continued to gaze at her phone, texting someone rather than answering my question. I sighed and decided to just to print her receipt rather than asking her again. After printing the paper receipt, I tore it off of the machine and set it into the bag. "Have a good rest of your day," I said while holding the grocery bag.
The girl looked up at her phone with raised brows. She rolled her eyes and took the bag out of my grip. A chime sounded from the front door of the skateshop. I looked away from the register to see Peter Parker entering. He was a common customer, making up excuses to come see me. Sometimes he'd just say hello even if he didn't need help with his board.
Every time he came into the store, some part of his board would be broken like the paint chipping or he needed to exchange the wheels for a new one. He wore his classic navy blue sports jacket with his marine green backpack hanging loose from his shoulder. Peter would always come into the store with his earbuds in, listening to his favorite songs; which consisted of Imagine Dragons or The Clash.
The girl from earlier tossed her hair to the side, almost bumping into Peter. "Oop, sorry," Peter apologized, dodging out of the way with his hands raised; causing him to bump into a rack full of different snacks. "Come again soon!" I hollered. The blonde ignored my statement and slipped through the door.
"Or not," I muttered.
Peter smiled at me with his lips pressed in a thin line. He set his backpack on the register's counter. "Sup Pete," I greeted, taking a sip of my water. "What seems to be the problem today?" I asked. Peter held up a finger and reached into his backpack.
He pulled out his black and orange board then set it onto the counter. The two back wheels were completely missing where originally two red wheels had been screwed on. I chuckled and looked up at him with raised brows.
"Wanna tell me how this happened?" I said, holding up the end of the board.
He softly chuckleed and scratched the back of his neck. A lopsided smirk appeared on his face. My stomach couldn't help but do flips at the sight of that smirk he always seemed to put on around me. "I was uh," he chuckled nervously, "Trying to do a flip when the board hit the ramp, I don't exactly remember what happened after that."
I nodded. I stepped back to see what types of wheels we had gotten over the week. You'd be surprised how much we run out of by the end of the week. "What kind of wheels were they?" I asked, kneeling down in front of one of the plastic black bins. Peter looked down at his board to see which ones the other's were. "Uh, street wheels," Peter answered. I brought up my arm, giving him a thumbs up.
A couple seconds passed bye until I successfully found the right wheels for his board. "Here ya go my friend," I said, setting them on the counter. He quietly thanked me and twisted the wheels onto his beloved board. Peter grabbed his wallet from the side pocket of his backpack. "Oh, Pete. It's okay," I said. "But I-" he started. "It's free, you're here so much, might as well be on the house," I replied, earning a smile from him.
"Well, I uh, I should go," Peter stated, "May's got me doin' some stupid chores around the house." I nodded and closed the register, making sure everything was in line. Peter swung his backpack over his shoulder. "I'll see you later?" I said. "Sure will," Peter responded. He winked at me before making his way towards the door. I looked down at the counter and happened to see that he had left his board. "Um, Peter? You might need your board!" I called just as he was about to leave.
Peter turned to look at the counter. He thanked me and swiped his board from the register then walked over to the front doors, almost knocking over the same rack. I chuckled, shaking my head in amusement. Damn, did this boy make me melt.
_______
(Next Day)
The sun shined down on the skatepark, letting out its shine around the skating area. White clouds scattered about the bright blue sky, the wind brushing passed them. My feet stayed put on my board as I slid up and down the ramp, my arms waving alongside my body. The skatepark wasn't so crowded which was nice; I wouldn't have to worry about potentially running into anyone.
Some food vendors had set up shop about a half an hour ago which was pretty cool that way I had something to eat if I was hungry. My smile got bigger at the feeling of the quick wind hitting me as I rode my yellow and blue skateboard. I made it to the other side of the ramp, standing on the rim. I tucked my hair away from my face just in case if it got in the way.
I stretched out my arms, bending my knees slightly. I tilted the board forward so the nose was pointing towards the bottom of the skate ramp. I slid down the middle, hopping into the area and flipping myself around. A cheerful chuckle escaped my lips as I landed safely back on the other side. During my trick, I couldn't help but notice none other than Peter Parker reaching his camera up to take a quick photo of me (GIF Above).
"Followin' me, Parker?" I questioned, looking at him with raised brows. He jumped slightly when I had taken notice of him. He turned around then back to face me. "Huh?" Peter said, "No, I wasn't following you. I thought the- you did-" He waved his hands around, making a whoosh sound as he waved his arms around.
"You did the trick, and I wanted to take a candid photo of you," Peter continued.
He let go of his camera and walked towards me. I tilted the board up so the top was facing me. I picked it up and walked over to my backpack that was sitting on a wooden bench. "Can I see it?" I asked. "See what?" Peter said, now standing beside me. "The picture," I spoke. "Oh, yeah, yeah for sure," he repeated. He took his camera off his neck and went to the picture he had taken of me just a few moments ago.
My smile widened at the sight. The picture was awesome. It perfectly depicted how much I loved skateboarding. My hair was blowing away from my face as my hand gripped the front of the board whereas my other arm was extended in the air. "Pete, this is awesome," I complemented. His photography skills always amazed me.
"Thanks," he said, putting a hand on the back of his neck in an awkward manner. "Hey, would you wanna have dinner at my place tonight?" I questioned, "My mom's making lasagna, and I'd love for you to be there. Only if you want to, I totally understand if you-"
"I'd love to," he interrupted.
"Really?"
Peter nodded with a tender smile on his face. He fixed the strap of his backpack, keeping a hand on the leather strap. "Perfect. I, uh, I'll uh.." I trailed. "Call you," he finished. "Yeah, that," I said, chuckling nervously.
A silent pause commenced between the two of us the longer we stood there. I tucked my board into the pocket of my backpack. "I'll see ya later," I said while I put my backpack on my shoulders. Peter nodded and waved me goodbye before skating towards his house. I smiled as I felt my cheeks glow to a light pink color.

Aight, It’s Psychonauts Brainrot Hour so, here have my headcanons on what everyone smells like:
First Game(minus Ford and Augustus):
Raz: Old worn leather, wool and buttered popcorn, as well as stew and powdered chalk depending on time spent around the circus/caravan, and a hint of dirt from his time at camp.
Sasha: Very thick mixture of Cigarettes and Cologne, latter to cover up the former, occasionally Machine Oil and Wielded Metal but usually only when he’s been down in the lab or in the work shop for prolonged periods of time.
Milla: “Gee,Your Hair Smells Terrific” Shampoo and Conditioner, along with Rosehip Oil, Cocoa Butter,Scented Candles/Incense and sweet perfumes that vary by the day. Sort of a lot like the fruity/floral/sweet scent sections at Bath & Bodyworks. Lilli: Woodsmoke,Pertichor(Rain Smell),Mint and Vanilla Perfume, as well as flowers. The Campers: Craft Glue, Pine Needles, Summer camp Food and for some reason in my head, Cheez its. Either Cheez its, Peanuts or Smores/Animal Crackers depending on the Camper. I imagine Kitty,Franke and Elka also smell like those flavoured children’s lip balms, especially the ones that smell like Strawberries, Bubblegum and Cotton Candy, on top of Kitty smelling like those candy scented body sprays they always market to tween girls. Milka also smells like cat fur. Crystal also smells like Thin Mints, and so does Clem by osmosis. Nils always has the faint smell of chocolate Animal Crackers on him. And Mikhail is the one who is especially guilty of smelling like Pine Needles, but also always has the faint scent of lake water and cattails on him as well. Oleander: A Camo shop, as well as that New Tent smell. A Rabbit Enclosure.
Loboto: Dried blood, Salt Water and a Dentist's Office
Boyd: Molotov Cocktail Solution,Milk,Cigarettes and someone who hasn’t had a shower in 6 or more years. Also Kitty Litter. Gloria: Vintage Perfume, Flowers, Plant Soil and Old Makeup, specifically Lipstick.
Edgar: Acrylic and Fabric Paints, Linseed Oil, Paint Thinner and Vinegar.
Fred: Pinewood, Duckcloth and Cardboard, as well as Craft Glue.
Sheegor: The Ocean. Also a Dentist’s Office by Osmosis.
The Psychic 7:
Ford: Shoe Polish, as well as generic Bacon,Barber's Shampoo, Dettol and Dishwash Soap.
Lucy: Wool, Meat Stew, Lavender, Tea and freshly washed Quilts
Otto: Just, Copious amounts of Coffee, Machine Oil and a bastard that hasn't left his sacred dwellings for almost 3 years.
Cassie: Honey, Lemon Tea and old/antique book scent, aged paper
Compton: Anxiety, actually no. I always headcanon him as smelling like Black Liquorice for some reason. Black Liquorice and Sugared Black Tea with Honey.
Bob: Fertiliser as well as Pertichor(that classic Rain smell), Plants/Herbs and when he was still drinking, Alcohol.
Helmut: Hookah. If not just generally very sweet, like Strawberries and Butterscotch.
Motherlobe Folk:
Truman: Sage and Vintage Men's Cologne
Hollis: Expensive, rather musky/oriental smelling perfumes. I imagine something like Amber,Musk and Sandalwood. Nick: Aggressively like fish.  Agents in general always seem to have this looming air freshener smell to them, sorta like an Airplane, like that musky New Plane/Fresh Scented Air Freshener smell. Also Noodlebowl lady smells like breakfast and baked goods.
The Interns:
Norma: Hell, no for real, she smells like she's perpetually on fire. That sort of Smoke smell, just a very aggressive Smoke smell
Lizzie: that bottle of Dior's Poison Perfume that she shoplifted a good bit back
Adam: Teakwood Cologne/Body spray and fresh linen
Sam: Pancakes, very questionable pancakes paired with pine needles, goat fur and what a hamster would smell like.
Morris: An aggressive amount of Hair Gel and Axe Body Spray
Gisu: A Skateshop, that sort of woodsy, wheel grease, Acrylic Paint, New Vans smell is what I'd best describe it as.
The Aquatos:
They all smell like chalk powder in some sense including faint visages of such on Raz since that's what they use to dust their hands to prevent them from getting sweaty during shows and practice sessions
Augustus: Very woodsy, like Pine needles, freshly chopped wood and a Fireplace, with a thick scent of French Toast, Chalk and Burnt Caramel, very faint smell of popcorn
Donatella: Cheap but fancy Rose Scented Perfume and florally scented Talcum Powder as well as powdered chalk.
Dion: An aggressive amount of Hair Grease, paired with one spray of Men's Cologne and a faint smell of sweat and powdered chalk
Frazie: Very strongly of Marzipan, like that very aggressive Almond Meal candy smell, with a very faint scent of talcum powder, chalk, hay and buttered popcorn
Mirtala: One spray of Dona's cologne, paired with the smell of chalk, cotton candy and that little kid smell of Baby powder/Baby food and Crayons
Queepie: Little kid smell (again of Baby powder, Baby food and Crayons) + Dirt
If you've been around little kids or have had little siblings before, you know exactly what smell I'm talking about, that's just the best descriptors I have for it.
