I wouldn’t even know what to charge- I mean, what’s the street value of a blow job, Ned? Do you know? Because I sure as shit don’t.” At this point Ned is outright giggling over Peter’s theatrics.

Summary: When Peter shows up to school looking a little worse for wear, his trusted Guy In The Chair comes to the obvious conclusion: the shady character from last night’s illicit patrol was none other than the infamous Mongolian Slasher.

His weapon of choice? Poisoned blades. Peter is on his deathbed.

So when his best friend refuses to see reason, Ned does what any good Guy In the Chair would do: he calls in the big guns.

The science classroom definitely isn't hot enough for Peter to be sweating this much, nor is the study guide the class is currently working on particularly challenging, so the fact that he is sweating bullets is awfully sus. As inconspicuously as he can, Ned scribbles this new symptom into the margin of his notes:

Sweating ✓

Dehydration??

This is all Ned’s fault. He never should have agreed to “Karen” for Peter during last night's illicit patrol. If only he had been the voice of reason then maybe Peter wouldn't have been stabbed viciously by a poisoned blade because apparently those are a thing now? He read an article… And the article has confirmed what Ned feared the most. Peter is going to die. Possibly. Probably.

Forty-eight hours. That's what his meticulous research boiled down to. That’s how much time between the introduction of the toxin into the bloodstream and the victim’s eventual demise. That means Peter is a good twelve hours into his final days. Unless Ned can–
