I hate that whenever there's a gay ship, people immediately het-ify it. people are so obsessed with making one the "man" and one the "woman" when that's completely unnecessary, because they are both the man or the woman. It's extremely annoying. these people will completely mischaracterize a character to fit into their stupid little het roles they force on them.
for example, you don't need to make one man the "wife" and feminized him to the extreme and fit him in a traditional "woman" role so the other man can be the big strong masculine manly man. they can both be masculine or both be feminine or both be both at the same time! they do NOT need to be gendered opposites to fit het roles. crazy, I know! it's like no one considers it a possibility! or sees how good it can be to have them be equals without gendered nonsense.
when there's a gay relationship, you have the perfect opportunity for the couple to stand on equal ground. they get to be equals who are just as strong and just as soft as each other. there's no faulty power dynamics where one is above the other (because let's face it, society unfortunately deems masculinity > femininity). one doesn't need to protect the other. they can protect themsleves, fight aide by side as equals. one doesn't do all the housework. they share that duty equally. one isn't weak and pretty, while they other strong and manly. they both are strong and pretty, or masculine and weak at the same time.
equal relationships are amazing and need to be explored more and appreciated. there can be more understanding and working together. i'm bad at explaining what I mean, but I prefer these equal relationships over forcing them into opposite roles to mirror het relationships, which are usually extremely unbalanced and unequal. especially because these not het relationships! so why must they look like one? they can and should look different! so why does literally every shipper and writer out there make them so het coded?
I don't understand why people do this. do they actually believe all romantic relationships must mimic het ones to exist and thrive and purposely force that on them? or have they genuinely just not fathamed that they can be different and dont need to follow the expected het standards?
I wonder, it feels like no one actually knows how non-het relationships are meant to be and how they could work, since het ones are always forced down our throats since birth. it becomes The Standard that everyone thinks they must follow. maybe it's all people know since they don't see any other possibilities. their preferred dynamics for their ships are what we are taught and nothing different, because they don't know it can be different. i also think people might be obsessed with that whole "opposites attract" trope. but that opposite doesn't have to be the traditional het-fueld feminine vs masculine or wife vs husband characteristics. it can be other personality things like one is loud and one is quiet, one is dumb and one is overly smart, one is rich and one poor, etc. it doesn't have to be masculine vs feminine!
BREAK OUT OF THE HET NORMS!!!!! TEAR DOWN HETERONORMATIVITY!!!!!!!!! FREE THE GAYS
(disclaimer, not saying masculine vs feminine ships are all bad/shouldn't be done ever. but it doesn't need to be 100% of the time either 😅 can't think of one ship people dont do this with lol)

Virgo Suns: Sisters Of The Earthly Realm & The Creators of Self-Mastery.
Virgos are the blueprint.
Lets just sit with this for a second.
Virgos have an incontrollable desire to do more, be more, and deliver more. When they are in love with something, they put their whole mind body and spirit in it. These craftsman are known to bring the best into reality and it is because they recognize the soul purpose of a foundation and with each step they practice everyday to reach the highest pinnacle.
There is no mountain they cant climb.
There is not one sky they cant fly to new heights with.
There is nothing but resilience, patience, and the sure mental ability of knowing that anything is possible if you try. Anything is possible if you go at a large number of times until your fingers hurt.
They dont care about the blood sweat and tears, thats how they transmute. Their power is in the way they use there mind and conquer the tasks that are needed to complete a goal.
There main wish to have perfectionism. Some say perfect isn't 'real' but I say it is. Because perfect is nothing but energy and this is what they strive for. The only thing I would say to virgos is that you must stop trying to control the outcome of the idea and allow it to show you how it wants to be created. Like a mother giving birth to their baby, you cannot control how they come out or how they act, you just have ideas on what we would want them to be like. This is the same with your creations. When you nurture them, allow them to be what it NEEDS to be and not what you WANT it to be. Thats what allows perfection. Nothing more nothing less.
You did the blueprint, created the foundation, made tasks to complete to make the creation in question more immaculate then before. You just have to let go and allow for the creation to be what it has to be.
Virgos are fast when it comes to learning, like supremely fast.
It shocks me at times, their like walking computers at best. Carrying a lot of data and information and being able to use it at any given time. Wordsmiths and literal dictionaries in their minds. If they were in a rap battle and perfected their crafts they'd be the 'Rap God' like Eminem (id say this for Geminis as well).
There is a thing with being too grounded, too practical, and too into reality at times. Its okay to relax into the wonders of your mind. Just like your sisters Pisces, you guys need to sit back and let the mind take you to the many worlds that are in your psyche. You are hear to bring your ideas/thoughts to reality. being of service is one of the ways you shine, so with your ideas be it writing novels, creating art, jewelry or simply being a nurturer is the way you come of service to others.
I love y'all and I hope this helps !

TC Scourge is so interesting tho. How does he play out or effect the narrative? Does he go more clan life and change his name or does he act like a changer who gets the clans to see that outsiders aren’t lesser? I think he could be such a good character in like TBC especially as a rebel. I’m very interested in this idea
I'm glad you asked! I do actually have a point with it, and it's the more "fun" option between two choices I have at a certain point.
I'll try to summarize this and keep the BIG overview for its own post;
BloodClan is much older, forming back during the end of Oakstar's rule
It's neutral now, no longer pure evil. It does good things (distributes resources, protects from invasion, saves cats from abusive and neglectful living conditions) as well as bad things (demands service and/or tribute, gruesome punishments for stealing and disobedience, rigid pecking order)
Scourge is the newest in a line of rulers. Instead of being EVIL he's just very politically savvy, having inherited a large and brutal group.
The BloodClan battle happens because Tigerstar PROMISED them land and Scourge is sick of Clan cats not respecting them
So, in any case, Scourge is NOT dying at the battle. Firestar defeats him honorably, and engages in diplomacy with BloodClan afterwards. Everyone involved is mixed about this, but it works out well at the destruction of the forest where BloodClan absorbs the warriors who are staying behind and provides aid.
The Choice
So the crossroads will come during the period concurrent with Firestar's Quest/Quietus, the part where there was a power struggle between Snake, Ice, Claw, and Rage. In the rewrite I'm combining all the BloodClan power plots into one-- Scourge choosing a successor.
My initial draft was to give him a progressive disease that was going to kill him early, but with some small tweaking, it could just be him getting tired of leadership.
So my choice is that he dies here (much more compliant with canon) or he ultimately joins ThunderClan and accompanies them to the Lake.
Why though?
Because I want him to play a role with Hollyleaf.
In addition to it just being generally fun that there's this very quiet ex-mobster boss hanging out in the background just enjoying life, he would be an uncle figure in PO3.
I think Hollyleaf's struggle with outsiders is really interesting, and since I'm probably going to reduce Stormfur and Brook's role in ThunderClan due to Tribe reworks, there is an opening for him to squeeze in. Hollyleaf is able to look between the obedience the code demands, the way the Clans see outsiders as being soft, and have a real, hard example that this is not true because of Scourge.
He will be old by this point, old enough to not soak up too much attention from younger warriors, but still has that good old BloodClan skill in his claws when it's required. That aside he would generally be a quiet loner type, quite close to Goldenflower, probably accepting a clan name (he'd see it as respecting the culture) but not correcting anyone when they call him Scourge.
He would die sometime between OOTS and AVOS, possibly of that progressive disease or even going down in a blaze of glory during the Great Battle (Tigerstar getting a rematch would be SUPER fun!) and he would become a ghost, not joining StarClan. Tree gets to see him a couple of times, and he would be there for Squirrelflight's Hope instead of the random kittypet, Blade.

I’m on a bit of a book nook/bookshelf insert kick. (I like ones that show outdoors or have a window because it’s like a second tiny window in your room.) If you could get a bookshelf insert of anything, what would it be? (It’s a pretty cool Google image search or YouTube skim if you have no clue what I’m talking about. 😅 )
Ooh, yeah I've heard a bit about those! I love tiny things, and I love books, so if I had the money and space, I would totally get some.
I'm also obsessed with old-fashioned aesthetics (particularly anything from the Victorian-era), so I think I would go for something influenced by the Thorne rooms.
If you've never heard of them, they're a series of miniature rooms (on a perfect 1:12 scale!) designed in the 1930s and inspired by various interior design styles across American and European history.
(There are 99 still around-- 68 are on display at the Chicago Art Institute, 20 are in the Phoenix Art Museum, nine are at the Knoxville Museum of Art, there's one in the Children's Museum of Indianapolis, and the last one is at Kaye Miniature Museum of Los Angeles. I've haven't had a chance to see all of them in person yet, but someday.)
Here are some photos so you have an idea of what kind of aesthetic I'm talking about:
You get the idea. (I recommend doing your own research. They're amazing.)
Anyway, if I could get this exact aesthetic compressed into a narrow book nook and put on my self, I would be a very happy woman.

In a time of careless touches & selfish wander,
Vandalised walls, were sacred, lay bare.
What bloomed in mornings dew,
Dulled, tamed by pilgrams unaware.
What gleamed in midnight's light
Vitiated by Insensitive meander & siphon stare
An amusement, a spectacle, a theoretical jest,
Your quivers are for game, affection mere pleasantry.
Addicted to wordplay, they are jewels in your ear.
Yet the commotion of the heart yearns the elementary.
A time meaning dripped like honey,
A season a sanctuary bled vulnerability
A day dream, a crave bitter sweet,
You've known enough, a bellowed soliloquy,
Caresses dipped in promised care, a stimulus,
A dead flame, sought an empty surrender.
A conditioned crave for adulterated intimacy,
Magnify a pallet adorned in pretense & adventure.
Relinquishing home, in pursuits of apogee,
What is Odyssey, a forsaken earnest hunger
Patience, a love deficient on your skin,
Knowing you whole, a philosophy opaque to remiss souls,
I honor you with my hands, a coveted liberation, for a canvas latent in wonder, an unrefined gold
A taboo, To enagge without conviction,
my raison dêtre, unveils the divine secrets of old.
A craftsman, a creator, an author, an artisan of sorts,
Dedicated to paint & brush, Avidity unleash its hold
A pottor graced clay, a nurtured form,
Nakedness, immorality housed in clothes, unfold.
Bewitched by curiosity & wonder,
& all its galore,
Story of anticipation, a love composed.
The tales that lay beneath skin,
an opus, a bible, a scroll, I'm eager to know.
Sunk deep in service exploring your mahogany hue.
Prune & chisel, a sculptures honest desire,
To discover life in stone, intricacies of bone&tissue.
Intrigued in details weaved, a blemished tapestry
& divulge tales untold, shielded in a flowered venue.
flesh flustered by discernment, Goosebumps
A response to heavens sagacious residue.
A devout healer, for what rests in my hands,
I'm called to nurture, effleurage, Petrissage.
Therapeutic art, a pride, a Smith,
A preserver of beauty hidden by pillage.
Exploring culture in the curves of scars,
Concealed knowledge and indomitable heritage,
A fabric, a woman, a shell of the heavens,
A palm, an embrace, my delicate clay.
