did you guys know i actually have more ocs beside gia? LEL it’s okay, i forget.

helena “lena” jupiter and her twin brother hiro jupiter— twisted off teenage hercules and young adult hercules respectively

lena attends corlux key seminary— of which you can get more info from my buddy @inmateofthemind’s posts here— and attends the arcane exchange into nrc’s campus. though raised by the impossibly rich and privileged jupiter family, lena wrestles with an extreme case of self-deprecation due to the family’s blessing being passed down to her— the second born female twin— instead of the “rightful” bearer, her elder brother. while her blessing grants her with beyond human physical prowess and a staggeringly large magical pool, it’s a bit much for her young body to bear just yet and she is constantly overdoing it. things tend not to stay in one piece around her.

she’s sweet, though incredibly timid and wracked with social anxieties, a direct opposite to her confident, golden boy twin.

still— helena is a steadfast believer in the ‘do it scared’ mentality. she might not like what she has to do and she’ll have to do it through tears, but by the seven she’ll do it.

that might be why she becomes smitten with a certain spade card solider. (ship name being 'go the limit' as a mash up of deuce's 'bet the limit' unique magic and lena's 'go the distance'. but deulena also works lel)

I want to do a little story for this too, but I am definitely sending Joker to Altus to celebrate the Airborne Afternoon! She's gonna be coming along with Deuce, and they're dying to go on a balloon ride together.

She's been practicing her puns too, juuuuust in case she gets a shot at competing. (Making someone laugh would impress a fella, right? Asking for a friend.)

If there's kites for sale, or a chance to make them there, Deuce would want to make a really badass one so he can get in on the fights. (Winning that would impress a girl, right? Asking for a friend.)

At any rate, they'd be sure to have a great time together. I'm sure of it. (Whether they stay merely friendly or not!)

DRABBLE: Words

"Y'know, I'm actually kind of a fan of all this flying stuff," Joker sighed.

In hand with her was one Deuce Spade. One thing he'd heard about the event, outside of kite-flying, was the vehicle show. His inner gear-head let his imagination whir at the thought of what kind of machines ruled the skies. The sun-eclipsing blimp above had been the largest thing he'd ever seen move before. But the skies weren't the only vehicles puttering away with steam technology. Horses that looked like they hopped off of a carousel, cars that could have been mistaken for something aquatic, and brassy magwheels sped through the streets.

"I can see why," he finally answered. "I mean, look at it all. It's just...so cool."

"You think so? Most people I tell that to say I'm just...Plane weird," his companion giggled.

Deuce hadn't expected the pun, if his sputtering was any response. Seven, that smile, Joker thought. She could watch it like the sun setting over the beach. Her eyes trailed back to the skies. Up on the hill where the main festivities bustled away, she could see stalls and stands for all manner of things. One lonely shack gave her an idea, though.

"You're not scared of heights, right?" She asked.

"Huh? No, why?"

The air was full of shouts and laughter from all of the air balloons floating above. Both kids took turns pointing out sights of interest from over the side. An impromptu air-scooter race, some exhibition cars, city hall's bell tower...

"Hey check out those kites!" Deuce shouted over the roar of the burners.

"That one over there's really cute!" Joker pointed out a sled kite that resembled an accordion.

"Over there-I think that's supposed to be the kite battles," A square painted off denoted where the contestants were. "Doesn't look like they started yet."

"You wanna check it out? I can see you sailing over the competition~"

Back on the ground, the two rushed over to a booth selling prebuilt battle-kites. Something slick, themed after the Queendom of Roses' iconography. Before they knew it, their last-minute purchase was up in the air with the others. The breeze was perfect. The Two kept their eyes locked skyward, especially once a particular kite began to drift closer with an electric sporadicalness. In an instant, the competitor kite had zapped Deuce's out of the sky. They could only watch as it fluttered down, crashing into a smoking heap. All he could do was sigh. But something clasped into his hand. He followed the hand up to Joker's face, who stared back in adoration.

"Sorry I kinda messed that up," He sighed.

"Nah, It's been a lotta fun today. Can't really plan that kind of stuff-ya have to just wing it."

I know, I know. I already asked for a matchup before, but I love your writing too much not to ask for another. I'd actually like for you to ship my OC Saima with someone from Twisted Wonderland if you're cool with it. It's ok if you don't want to also

(it's a unique request.... I'm in 😁. Since they're experimenting with they/them pronouns, I'll use those. Wanna make sure everyone is comfortable. I hope I Characterized them correctly. Characters I almost paired them with; Ruggie, Jack, Silver, Kalim, Floyd. I saw a lot of ways this could go, but in the end... )

I match them with Deuce Spade.

He had a rough past, but he's an absolute sweetheart now. He usually lets Ace have the braincell, so he's not always on top of things, but I feel like that's something both of them can overlook.

Their bond with their sister is something he can relate to, since his entire character arc stems from wanting his mom to be proud of him. He knows the importance of family. He introduces them to his mom early on, and Mama Spade essentially adopts Saima after that.

The story where they burnt the eggs? If Saima ever shares that with Deuce, he will put aside his horror to teach them how to cook them properly. It becomes a bonding experience, where every Saturday they make eggs together in Ramshackle for all their friends.

There's a ridiculous amount of bullies at NRC, but Deuce is ready to protect them no matter what. They may need to remind him to reign it in a little, but his heart's in the right place.

I imagine the two of them cuddling on the couch together, holding hands and swinging them back and forth whenever they walk together anywhere, giving each other soft cheek kisses when they have to be apart. You know? That soft romantic couple that is so sugary sweet, you just want to scoop them both up and squish their cheeks.

Saima, I beg you, draw him a comic of your adventures together. He will melt, and he will show everyone he can. He's so proud of it, it's his new favorite thing.

Deuce liked to walk to class from Ramshackle with Saima. He'd be there, every morning. They'd greet each other with a quick peck on the lips, and a giggly good morning, before holding hands and swinging them back and forth as they walked. Usually, Ace and Jack would meet up with them once they reached the school itself.

"We need a name for when we make egg dishes for people on Saturdays," Saima said. "How about Eggsurday?"

Deuce giggled like a lovesick puppy, which, he essentially was. "What about FEE day? Friends eat eggs?"

Saima giggled back, "that's a good one, what about Deuma day? Or seuce day? You know, cause it's our names."

"I like Deuma Day, cause it's got two d sounds" he grinned, giving Saima an impromptu twirl with their joined hands.

Ace approached, followed closely by Jack.

"What are you love birds talking about?" Ace said with a grin.

"Deuma Day," Saima said simply.

Ace groaned, but it was clear he was hiding a smile, "You two are sickeningly sweet."

Deuce gave a mischievous grin before dipping Saima, and passionately kissing them.

"Ew!" Ace cried as Jack's cheeks turned pink and Saima giggled.

"It's okay Ace," Saima giggled, hugging Deuce tightly, "you'll find your own Deuce someday."

"Gross!" Ace said, making a fake gagging noise, to which Deuce pouted and Jack let out a dry laugh.

It was moments like these that Saima realized how happy and lovely life could be. Even if your best friend is a drama queen.

also context: back in valencia's og world, kissing is the most common form of communication. so like, if people handshake in twst, back in valie's world (I'll just call it og) they would give a courteous kiss on the cheek.

so cheek kisses and hand kisses are common wags of saying hello to each other if you're acquaintances. if you're friends, look forward to lip kisses.

the difference between friend lip kisses and lover/ date lip kisses is that the former requires hands to be on the other's cheek, while the latter needs their hands to be intertwined.

but obviously as time goes on, both of these things blur and you'll normally just state your intentions right out lol. it's a king winded explanation but

"prefect?" the pretty boy tilts his head, and she can't help but cup deuce's cheeks lovingly.

"you're beautiful. d'ya know that, starlight? hmm?" valie's hands fly to trace deuce's ears, and he grins in delight when deuce shivers.

"s-starlight..." deuce clasps his 'wand' tighter against his chest, unused to the touches, but welcome.

valencia's hands leave deuce's face, falling to his shoulders as she trace his shoulder blades, watching deuce's expressions shift at your doings. an endearing sigh slips from valie's lips when he looks up at the ex-delinquient with unbridled adoration.

"y-you're too honest with your feelings, prefect..." deuce trembles, avoiding the prefect's intense gaze.

he's so fucking cute.

valencia's hands make their way back to deuce's cheeks. "can I...?"

"ah... s-sure." deuce's consent met and with a triumphant smile, Valencia tiptoes, kissing deuce's cheek softly, dropping lightly down and her hands finally leave deuce be.

"atta boy, starlight. now come on, let's go~! 's no time like rn to collect the wishes, yeah?"

"ah.. yes!" deuce steels himself back up, no longer his flustered self that was present mere seconds ago.

"let's go! we're heading towards jack first, right?"

"yeah! I wonder what he'll wish for?"

"knowing jack-y, something with getting strong doesn't seem to far off, imo."

"yeah! you know, he..."

the conversation moves like a flowing river, and as valie watches the robes flutter around deuce, she can't but float against deuce's flow- steady at times, but often a rush.

...and that's how the boys found out Yonah (=MC/Yuu) was a girl all along 🤭

POV is after chapter 3.

In Jack's case, he had an inkling but crowd mentality is a strong thing so he just shrugged it off.

Of course Leona just knew it right away from the moment he first met Yonah. He just didn't make a huge fuss about it like the boys here. (And this goes the same for Malleus)

I also planned on drawing the reaction of the rest of the boys but I never got around doing it 😅 ...Maybe I'll do it in the future?
