Twins - my silly thoughts on the colour coding!

So, I've been seeing lots about colour coding in Twins - blue, red and yellow for the twins and other lead respectively. I've been seeing a few theories today here about shows I am watching or have seen that are fascinating and I have so much respect for all the thought that goes into such posts! You guys are awesome!

I've had my own less impressive and highly silly thoughts on those colours too though!

The team colours are yellow and blue right?

I am so sorry but all I can think of are the old Dublin buses which are a beautiful yellow and blue! My family both sides of the Irish sea prefer the red buses of London but I think those pale in comparison to the glorious yellow and blue of a Dublin bus!

Although, I have beef with Transport For Ireland (TFI) for switching the blue out for green in newer buses. Ew. I fear the next visit to Dublin there'll be no more pretty blue and yellow buses.

A funny little coincidence I remembered before posting is that Ryan (First's actor) is half Irish!

Look - a beautiful Dublin bus on Samuel Beckett bridge! Such a pretty bridge - I adore it! I dream of taking a night walk here with a loved one, whether that's my mum, other family, friends or a future lover!

I see some people on here that think Sebek WOULDN’T mention Malleus all of the time if he were in a relationship or started crushing on someone. Unfortunately, I must disagree. Malleus is a major part of his life and I do not think Sebek would change THAT much just because of a relationship.

There is not a single Sebek vignette in which Sebek does not mention Malleus in some way at least once. I doubt there is more than maybe, at most, being generous, a few moments where Sebek makes a cameo in any of the stories (main story, other characters’ vignettes, events, literally anywhere Sebek shows up even for a moment) without some mention of Malleus from him. He has a portrait of Malleus in his room. He tells us that Malleus is his main motivation for everything he does. I have no doubt that in canon, Malleus is on his mind 24/7.

Had the silly thought of Merry holing themself up in their home during the Feast season because of their anxieties around the event, but then realized...

They currently live in one of the bazaar towers 💀

If any of the masters live in that tower alongside them (highly doubt it since Merry hates the masters and probably made threats to get that tower to themself. But who knows) they must be a nuisance at this time of year. Locking down the tower and refusing any strangers entry. Throwing rocks out the window of the tallest point of the tower to get people away from visiting. No business! Only safety!

it’s honestly a hard choice between richard waugh and connor fogarty 😭

i honestly love how richard loved voicing the character and brought his own little spice to wesker. i always really liked that wesker sounded so sophisticated and calm but still had that edge of superiority to it like he thought he was the best person in the world. he really loved the character and was a super cool guy. also his voice work steadily increased throughout the games which i always noticed. he sounded somewhat the same but which each game came different delivery. it’s clear he became more comfortable and connected to the character and i like that

richard waugh’s wesker for re5 ?!

but i also love connor mainly because of who he is himself. i like his wesker voice though :) the way he says most lines makes me think of those lines first rather than the lines from the original game because they just feel so much more like wesker than the original line delivery. he also embraces the memes made about him and is actually a decent human being !! woo hoo !!

This is a question on the production side of things, which is more of maya and devin's city! BUT I can approximate the answer: while making more clothing is a fun idea, price/production/sizing gets a lot more complicated and a lot more expensive, not to mention slow going! a garment like overalls is just very unlikely. the next thing maya's been working on making has been shirts! short sleeved button ups, specifically- but those are still in development.

#it's POSSIBLE that collab shirts could happen? but I don't expect anything like that #bc collabs add another layer of complexity #it'll be maya's designs though which are even better so you can look forward to Eventual Shirts #aside from dresses and shirts - more complex garments are just Highly Unlikely lol #sergle answers

ok I went to check the team builder for the released teams so far and even though it looks like Yellow and Lime look relatively weak to where you'd think they'd be, but both are due to Puffy, Sparklez, and Solidarity's inconsistent team comp strength and imo are really underrated due to the teams that they have for this event. I'd bump both teams' averages up like 100-200 coins due to that (bc these teams are strong which = better placements), and that kind of leaves red and green in the dust LOL

#solidarity had 2 events where he placed bottom 5 otherwise he's easily a top 20 player #sparklez is more inconsistent individually but with a decent event he is also a top 20 guy #puffy's more in the range of 20-30 with a winning team so she'd comparatively be the 'weakest' player but that's literally not weak at all #so. that's all to say that I think that snf have the weakest teams and even though they both DO have a shot at reaching db #it's highly unlikely compared to how strong the other teams are #also impulse is crazy I hope he keeps up his performance from the first 2 because that would get them into db easily #and that is a scary db team sans Phil #lyss answers #anon tag

Avoiding answers to specific, pressing questions

Voice

There's isn't a set tone/speed/style of speaking, but your character's speech patten will differ from his normal one.

People tend to speak faster when they're nervous and are not used to lying.

Body Language

Covering their mouth

Constantly touching their nose

fidgeting, squirming or breaking eye contact

turning away, blinking faster, or clutching a comfort object like a cushion as they speak

nostril flaring, rapid shallow breathing or slow deep breaths, lip biting, contracting, sitting on your hands, or drumming your fingers. 

Highly-trained liars have mastered the art of compensation by freezing their bodies and looking at you straight in the eye.

Trained liars can also be experts in the art of looking relaxed. They sit back, put their feet up on the table and hands behind their head.

For deliberate lies, the character may even carefully control his body language, as though his is actually putting on a show
