Oh look, just as fast and dirty as any other April 1st gag bit.
Matt, Staff, Automattic, etc, FIX YOUR HEARTS. And do some work on the real problem on here.
I really need to stop making art based on obscure references only a handful of people will get.
"And when you became Denise, I told all your colleagues, those clown comics, to fix their hearts or die."

PSA: You don't have to do anything that you don't want to do. This site is, 99% of the time just for shits and giggles. I'd bet a good 90% of this site never engages in anything else.
But for some people it's about connecting with others, not just for fun, or even company, but for a lifeline: to document and to share what is happening where they are (and maybe, just maybe, get a little help). This is like, the 1% of this site. It's not ideal, no: Twitter was better at it, but that's gone now. Places to reach out are dwindling.
If you want to go press a button with your friends all day do it, but don't fucking tell the minority voices on this site they're raining on your special parade for pointing out that there's something a little fucked up about how engagement operates and how easy it could be to lift up those that actually need it but they don't.
Lots of folks have been run off this site and effectively censored for their views and yep, still get a lot of harassment. But hoping for a sliver of a fraction of the engagement this site got on ONE DAY, just to maybe lighten someone else's load a little, is being "self-righteous" and ruining all the fun?
Every day I’m haunted by the fact the boys happily swim in sewer water
Even if it’s filtered somehow there’s no way it’s not still nasty 😭 Bet they can defeat any of their villains just by accidentally giving them diseases I swear
Some interesting similarities between the forms of Falling Devil and Darkness Devil.
There’s the use of multiple bodies to create a singular form, the angular shapes, the mantis-leg-like appendages, the sheer height.
These two also share very strong hand motifs, which makes sense for both of them: when it’s dark, you have to feel your way around, usually with your hands; when you’re falling, you try to grab onto something with your hands.
I’m curious to see if the other Primals look anything like these two.
Okay... aside from Lenore Zann ripping my goddamn heart out AGAIN, I love how everyone has completely stopped shying away from how Rogue/Gambit feel about each other.
They're all owning it now. Jubilee saying Remy loved Rogue, Rogue calling Remy, "MY man!" and acknowledging his death for the first time while in the backdrop of a widow mourning her husband. No subtlety at all. The denial is 100% DONE.
Rogue is finally confronting her feelings for Remy. She spent so much time pushing him away out of fear of hurting him with her powers, but now she accepts that she really did love him... and it hurts so fucking much.
The payoff to this better be worth it, I s2g...
At this point, I will accept nothing less than Remy being resurrected as Death or a Prime Sentinel and Rogue bringing him back by telling him she loves him. I'd also be fine with a timeline reset. But if that's not where this is headed, then FUCK THESE WRITERS FOREVER FOR PUTTING ME THROUGH THIS.
Did Brambleclaw actually disown the Three when the secret is revealed? I don't remember this happening (then again, it's been a while) but it does bug me how all three go "Poor brambleclaw :(( He was such a good dad to us and he has to learn we're not even his biokits :(((( poor guy" while simultaneously shitting on Leafpool and Squirrelflight despite them showing them more care and affection before AND after the reveal. If he does disown them, then.... WOW is the double standard real here.
In-canon? It's something you have to approximate. They don't seem to have a concept of ""disowning"" because blood relation is taken as such an insurmountable, FUNDAMENTAL fact of life. He doesn't write them out of his little kitty will and testament, but his actions ARE disowning.
It's as if the fact he is not their biological father is an automatic disowning. From the reveal onwards, he is immediately cold, distant, and the "betrayal" is mentioned often. The Three also explicitly don't blame him for his behavior, like it's just to be expected that he's Not Their Dad anymore.
Lionblaze in particular stares longingly at him several times, really missing him. And like... that's kinda what gets my goat so much
I do believe Brambleclaw is entitled to his feelings of betrayal. I believe Squilf was ultimately in the right to lie, actually, but he's still allowed to be upset and angry that she didn't trust him enough to tell him something so important. THAT SAID, YOU ARE NEVER ENTITLED TO TREAT OTHERS POORLY.
And that's what GETS me. He isn't upset that it was all revealed in such a painful and embarassing way when this could have been avoided, or that his lover struggled with this lie for so long without him, or that he feels he's lost his children. Squilf points it out in The Last Hope-- He's so ANGRY at Squilf that he will THROW HIS FAMILY AWAY
Lionblaze seems desperate to be his son again. Hollyleaf is gone for months, and Brambleclaw is still huffing about the secret when she comes back from the dead. Squilf is fawning in the hopes it makes him talk to her again. Doesn't matter. Brambleclaw Is Upsetti Spaghetti so the narrative will never examine his role in hurting this family he apparently loved so much.
(Narrative seems to understand full well that when Squilf lies for a good reason, that doesn't invalidate the hurt Brambleclaw felt... but when Brambleclaw is upset for a good reason, it actually DOES validate what he put her and his kids through)
In BB it is explicitly a disowning. He cuts them off as his children, and they reciprocate. BB!Lionblaze does so in a ball of fury, vowing that he has ONLY a mother.
the chaipunk vs. "he has a girlfriend" debacle can be fixed by one simple thing (like almost every love triangle ever); a polycule.
even if Gayatri and Hobie stay platonic, you wanna tell me that man isn't gonna treat her like a goddamn goddess? you wanna tell me he's not gonna stop in her dimension just to spend time with each other? you wanna tell me he's not gonna gush with her over Pav? cause your dead wrong, and lord help me if they're not smiiten for each other to, the romance would be too much for me. like we've already sorta agreed as a fandom that hobie is the softie, so he's always gonna be going out of his way to be a gentleman to her, holding doors, throwing his jacket over puddles (like a dumbass), kissing her hand, all that mushy stuff.
Gayatri is gonna be so romanced up by those two she wouldn't know what to do with herself. let her have two perfect amazing sweet loving male wife puppy dog boyfriends ok? she's earned it.
