“Don’t be mad.” You said softly shutting the door behind you.

“The amount of times I’ve heard that.” Simon groaned quietly. “What’s it now?”

You poked your head out from the entry way.

“I need to tell you a story first.” You insisted, still not revealing yourself. Simon put his book down, setting his reading glasses in his lap. His face was blank, but if you squinted you swore there was a hint of amusement. “I was walking Riley and as we were passing she asked me if she could have a sister.”

“You never told me you could talk Riley.” Simon sighed, resting his chin on his fist. The large german shepherd next to you looked between the two of you.

“So of course I couldn’t say no to that little face.” You baby talked patting Riley on the head.

“Of course.” Simon said in faux agreement. “Rip it off like a band aid sweetheart.”

“Here’s Ruby!” You smiled widely, stepping out of the entryway. In you arms there was a medium sized brown tabby cat. The greying around her face gave away her age. She seemed more than content curled up against your chest, her head nestled between your shoulder and cheek.

“It’s a cat.” Simon said slowly. It’s not that he didn’t like cats- he just had never had one before.

“It’s our cat!” You corrected, bouncing over to the unsure Brit. “She’s just the sweetest and she’s been at the pet store for three years because no one wants an older cat.” Your bottom lip stuck out, your eyes big and wet.

“Oi.” Simon grumbled, grabbing you by your hips resting you on his knee. “Ruby?” Simon checked. The cat lifted her head from your shoulder staring at him with big yellow eyes. You stared at him with equally big eyes. You knew he wouldn’t refuse you- or make you take her back, but you did want his approval. “There’s so many women in my house.” Simon said finally. You giggled and rested your head under his chin.

“Are you complaining?”

“No.” Simon said quickly. “Wouldn’t have it any other way.”

You had always joked about how they kind of looked a like- now you had proof.

You were excited to learn you are going to have a child. You were mostly excited about telling your husband but you two never really got into future kids as it was never really brought up between you two. So you had thought of a plan to tell him and at first you were excited as you met him again during dinner.

"So darling may I ask you a question" "What is it you have to say" "What are your thoughts about pregnancy and children if you don't mind" "Well honestly I don't like it. The thought of children isn't really my favorite and the pregnancy isn't the best thought either. Why do you ask?" You felt sick and you it wasn't the baby. You were scared now what if Nozel will kick you out if he finds out, what will happen to the baby? You felt really sick as you told Nozel you were getting tired and headed to bed.

During the days that followed Nozel has noticed your distance and he grew worried. After dinner that night you had gotten real quiet and he had to know why. He stopped you in your shared room where he asked to know what was wrong. After a while you started to cry falling to your knees as Nozel rushed over to your side. During this moment you spilled out saying you are pregnant with his child which made you cry more explaining you had been afraid to tell him. He asked why you were afraid only for you to answer about that night at dinner a couple of days ago.

Nozel wrapped his arms around your shaking figure as his rubbed your shoulders telling you to take deep breaths. When your crying stopped and breathing steady he explained how whis mother died during birth and how he's afraid that he might lose you. When hearing that you put your hand on his cheek telling him that you wouldn't leave him and how he shouldn't be afraid. "I will love you and our child so you don't have to be afraid anymore. But please don't do that again I was scared for you" "I will only if you promise to be a father to our child" "Don't worry I will".

Leviathan nightmare sans x reader

There was a decent sized fish flitting around the opening of your hidey-hole, taunting you with how nonchalantly it hovered and picked at the sand and rock. You shifted, trying your best not to bring attention to yourself as you eased forward. Though your space was tight, there should have been plenty of room for you to get into position in a quiet and stealthy manner.

The fish was right there after all. It should be easy.

You lunged, hands grabbing the head and tail while tentacles attempted to come up to curl around the slippery thing. Excitement rolled through you at the thought of finally catching something, just to be dashed with a curse as it thrashed and wiggled out of your grip.

Devastation.

How many times have you failed? How many times had your prey escaped when it should have been…

You huffed, pulling the rest of your body into the open. You were glad the rest of the boys were off patrolling so they didn’t see another one of your failed attempts at hunting. You don’t think you could handle Killer’s jokes at the moment. You’d have to scavenge some crabs again to at least look helpful.

A deep rumbling chuckle vibrated the water, startling you into looking up. “You seem troubled little fish. Would it help to know your attempt was a noble effort?”

Nightmare lounged on the wreck above you, no doubt having watched the whole thing. How he managed to move about unseen or heard with his massive size, you had yet to figure out. He had not been there when you started. You couldn’t look at him long though, shying away in embarrassment. 

“I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I should have caught it that time. I had it in my hands.”

He hummed, shifting to lower his upper half down and closer to you. Looking over your crestfallen state, he eventually sighed.

“It would seem I have failed to teach you something important. You are hunting and acting as if you are a shark. But my dear…” The water sparked and bubbled with magic, temporarily blinding you. “You are the same as I.”

White bony arms wrapped around you from behind, dark purple and black tentacles intertwining with your own. To say you were surprised was an understatement. From the months that you had started living with the guardians and their shiver, you had never once seen or even known he had a smaller form. One less dark and much closer to your size. 

He brought his skull to the side of your head, voice lowering and teeth brushing your ear with a hint of nostalgia. “Shall I show you?” 

You could only nod as your tentacles subconsciously wound tighter around his, the almost purred chuckle not helping. Then, he released you, gently gripping your hand to pull you through the water.

“Then let us proceed… my Pearl.”

“I’m never letting you drive.” You groaned. You dragged your feet against the red clay, reaching your arm around to feel for you water bottle.

“Fuck off.” He groaned from behind you. You could hear his own feet dragging. The mission had been a total disaster, you and Ghost getting separated from the rest of the team. You got wired a car and made the mistake of letting Ghost drive. He had drove both of you into a rock. A fucking rock.

“Oh, You fuck off.” You growled back mimicking his accent. You turned around when you heard him chuckle. “I’m seeing things.” You whispered softly. He stopped a few steps behind you.

He had peeled his mask off at some point, his black face paint had melted giving you the perfect view of his face.

“Don’t flirt with me, I’m not in the mood.” He grumbled pushing past you. As he passed you saw a whisper of a smirk across his face.

“Quite the opposite.” You mimicked again. He was handsome- and you hated it. You lifted your water bottle to your lips only for it to be empty. Your emotions came to a boiling point. You had been walking in the hot desert for six hours. You had heard enough jokes to fill a book. Your body was exhausted. You let your anger come out in the easiest way.

You screamed. Your own ears popped from the sound. It echoed through the canyon, and you waited for the yelling of a lifetime.

‘Are you fucking mental? Tryin to get us caught?’ You could hear his voice in your head. You were surprised he didn’t throw something at you.

Yet no repercussions came. His eyebrows raised, almost impressed with the volume you were able to get.

“Let it out.” He said, nodding his head. Your eyes widened- but you took him up on the offer.

Another scream ripped through your throat. This time a much deep yell joined yours. Both your voices echoed together- sounding quite nice.

I'm not a big fan of celebrating milestones myself because I'm bad at voicing my gratitude and because I don't want to focus on the numbers in general and more on each and every interaction. 🥰

It's just that I'm currently very happy, because it's April - the best month in the entire year - and spring and I'm finally able to create again and do things in my personal life that I wasn't able to do for a long time.

So noticing that I reached now more than a hundred followers hit different. Maybe because I never thought it was possible? Or because I struggled (and still do) a lot with seeing the worth in my writing? I don't know. I'm just so grateful for each and every one of you. 💕

Every like, comment, kind message or reblog means the world to me, in a way I'm barely able to describe.

Yes, I'm creating mostly to get my own feelings out of my chest, heal in a way, or sometimes just because I'm curious and want to dive deeper into a topic - but connecting with all of you over this, feels even more special.
