Whoops! Made another au.

Ingo gets sent to the past with an old radio that his father used to mess around with. He only has memories of his name and how to operate the radio. It is constantly on and scanning frequencies.

One day, after 4 years of living in Hisui, the radio picks up someone. Ingo scrambles to answer hoping that the person on the other end would have answers about himself and the strange radio. The person on the other end introduces herself as Johanna.

Yes this is building up to an eventual Ingo x Johanna

Awwww I'm honored!!! Okay I'll give you a bunch then--

An au where Kanan and Hera meet and not long after the Force decides "hey, this lady is super smart. We should give her the ability to control plants so that she can gather all the Jedi to fight back against the Empire!" And so Hera gets that and becomes the prophesied Queen of the Jedi and Kanan is her number one guard and is kinda overprotective and Ezra is still his young punk apprentice and yes this is based off of Epic why do you ask--

When Ezra yeets himself into hyperspace he shoots himself and Thrawn back into time and they get stuck in a four year time loop in which Thrawn keeps trying to kill him and Ezra keeps trying to save the day and accidentally keeps bringing people back with him whenever the loop resets (Sabine, Ahsoka, Kallus, Rex, etc.). Also the only way to break the time loop is to save Kanan

laskdjlfsjkdlfkds I almost forgot about this one-- a Star Wars-ified Anne of Green Gables inspired au that I literally created solely for A) Hera smashing a slate (or in this case, datapad) over Kanan's head and B) the friends to lovers arc. Also if you haven't read/watched Anne of Green Gables, do. It's amazing

Zootopia Kanera au. I haven't gone too in depth in this au, but I THINK it speaks for itself

Okay imagine if Kanan wound up on Tatooine and bumped into Obi-Wan who decided he needed to adopt this young punk that he recognized from the Temple to make sure he doesn't get himself killed and Kanan sasses him all the time but stays with him most of the time and travels the galaxy other times and definitely brings Hera home and Obi-Wan makes them tea and ships them and she reminds him of Satine HECK I MADE MYSELF SAD

Another Batman!au, but Hera's Batman and Kanan is Catwoman. This is inspired solely by this scene in Batman: The Animated Series where Catwoman's all "you know there's something between us" and Batman's like "yeah. Unfortunately, it's the law" and while I know Hera hates puns it just HAD THEIR VIBES

Hmmm, it's hard to choose one to end on. Uhhhhhhhhhh not gonna lie my accidental rom-com slaps but like. I wanna keep that one under wraps and not post about it. So let me leave you with these words-- Jacen and Kanan Frequency Au

Genius idea that just occurred to me: the Old Gods speak in really low infrasound. It's one reason they're so unsettling. It's not a sound you hear, but one you feel. You can feel the pressure in the air when they speak. It's the language of earthquakes and tsunamis. Their voices permeate through the very ground. And when they speak TO you, it's a violation of nature. They are FORCING you to understand them despite your body's normal inability to do so. You can feel their words vibrating your jawbone, you can feel the pressure in your ears, and it hurts, and you shouldn't be able to understand it, but you can. There's an invisible hand squeezing your lungs and you can't take a full breath no matter how hard you try, but it's not a hand, it's speech, and you can understand it. Oh gods why can you understand it.

I hope this isn’t unwelcome but here are a few of my personal Vascete modern AU headcanons:

As a child, Vasco was usually voted as a team captain when playing sports with other kids. Not necessarily because of his sporting ability, but rather because of his leadership qualities and general agreeableness and ease with others.

Machete always uses perfect grammar when he texts, but can take a while to respond. Vasco often responds instantly but with less attention to grammar. Machete texts in unbroken paragraphs (when he has a lot to say) but Vasco’s texts come through in small, sporadic flurries.

Machete is very familiar with hospitals, particularly so in his childhood due to his various medical issues. As a result he actually finds their cleanliness, and the politeness of the doctors, comforting. These experiences also made him more patient than he might otherwise have been.

Vasco donates blood and is on an organ donor registry.

Machete always carries hand sanitiser around and is constantly offering it to Vasco, who always carries hand cream around, and is constantly offering it to Machete.

Both are well-versed in music and have refined musical tastes.

Vasco hums wholeheartedly whilst doing the dishes - a chore Machete likes to avoid where possible. Vasco knows this, so he pretends he doesn’t mind doing them.

Machete often has a headache and Vasco’s usual first response to this is to ask Machete if he’s had enough water today. He’s often right.

Vasco scarcely thinks of the other paths his life could have taken. Though he knows pain, he feels very fortunate for all the good he’s been dealt in life, and attributes his good luck mostly to happy accidents. Machete on the other hand has unexpected moments of stark awareness of all the possible forks in his road. It’s a sudden deja vu that creeps up on him when he’s alone, almost as if he can remember all of his and Vasco’s past/ potential lives together. The feeling vanishes just as soon as it arrives.

Hot dang anon I LOVE these. Unwelcome UNWELCOME? You come to my house and present me with thoughtful interpretations of my characters, I feel nourished.

I can definitely see Vasco being a popular choice for a team captain. He's physically active but not ultra sporty, and even though he can get excited and carried away, he's never been that competitive (he's got that 'I just hope both teams have fun' sort of vibe that people tend to like).

The texting bit is terribly cute. Vasco rapid firing message after message vs Machete intermittently slapping half an essay in the chat.

Machete is hypochondriac and his threshold for seeking threatment is low, especially if he's experiencing anything he's not already familiar with. To my understanding Italy has a good quality universal public healthcare, but he typically chooses to go with private sector anyway and has been investing in pricey health insurance for years (probably way more extensive than what is necessary or reasonable).

I also thought of Vasco as a habitual blood donor. He wouldn't like it per se (medical surroundings unnerve him), but I think he might just get a kick out of being a good boy and potentially helping people. (I know gay, bi and msm men used to be banned from donating (or at least severely restricted) but it looks like many countries have revised their criteria significantly in recent years and there's a good chance he'd be eligible these days.)

The hand sanitizer/hand cream combo is so good. It made me chuckle. (Are you a hand sanitizer person or a hand cream person?)

Their respective tastes in music and cinema have more overlap than you might initially think, and they keep aligning closer and closer over time.

Machete wouldn't like doing dishes. Having to touch wet food (weird texture + unhygienic) is bad times all around. But he genuinely enjoys a little bit of vacuuming, dusting, laundry and general tidying and organizing. He doesn't leave that much for Vasco to do, just the occasional visibly messy jobs that squick him out more than he cares to admit.

That's very considerate of him. That's a very considerate thing to do to anyone in general. Dehydration and low blood sugar can really sour your mood and you wouldn't even notice they were the reason you're feeling so bad all of a sudden. (When I'm having a difficult day I try to remember to ask myself whether things are truly collapsing or am I potentially just a little too thirsty and hungry and unaware of it. Usually it's the latter).

Ah yes, Machete and the horrors. Vasco might be aware of the horrors as well, but perhaps he possesses the specific kind of galaxy brain that is near immune to this particular flavor of existential dread.

quick angsty little drabble

mouse-verse YOU don't like how they stare at Prowl.

Like he's fire, that every touch his pede lands, broils a warmth too strong, it flourishes into a malevolent ire.

"He's unstable, mouse." Ratchet said, not sparing you a look as he scribbles away on his datapad. He termed it so simply, so casually, it was as though he's lecturing you on the basics of Cybertronian anatomy, all over again.

"He's not unstable. He's different."

You're roosted by his desk, fists clamping, unclamping, easing up the temper pressurized in your chest.

"Look." He swivels around to face you, arms crossed. "I know you like standing up for the guy. You're the closest person he's got. I get it. I understand. But please, next time when a pede's about to connect to someone's skull — don't, don't try to go in for the save, alright?"

"I wasn't protecting him." You can't help but bite back.

He kneads his face. "Then what were you trying to do kid, if you're not desperate for a one-way trip to Primus with a broken skull. "

"Making a point. Stating my case. That those bots who punch him as they please get nothing out of that."

Ratchet regards you for a moment. His optics were gentle and firm as a silent understanding passes over his face. He wants to say something but can't.

"It's nothing big. in a few week's time, he'll be the same again."

"But he's not the same. He's never the same, Ratchet."

Why does everyone think he won't be affected?

He's got his back to you, kneeling on the ground, helm in his servos. You stood at the doorway, sympathy pulling your features taut as you observe the way his doorwings fall to the side. A broken bird. No wings to fly.

He seemed so alone in his habsuite. So small. He could curl up into a ball, if he could. Lights, close to darkness. Space, empty. The middle is Prowl. Just Prowl and only Prowl.

"Control." Was all he said. Almost like a breath of a whisper. "I've got no control. Not even with my subordinates. Not even with myself. Nobody believes me."

His helm lifts up until it falls back, optics to the ceiling. His digits are curled out like he's trying to grasp something that's not there.

"I do." You said.

"You don't."

"I do."

Surprised pulled his features when you're close, fingers a gentle mould around his cheek. . He's not surprised by your touch or by your close proximity — he's used to them

No, what he's surprised is how contorted your expression was, how his spark twists much as how despair twists your face.

Prowl maintains the rigidity of his expression. His servos falls to his lap though and finds himself leaning a little into your touch.

In a fit of boldness, you lean up and pressed your forehead against his. Electricity crackles at the touch and colors burst into your vision.

At first it was sickly black. A storm, broiling in the depths of his mind. Tendrils curl out and nip in an attempt to deter you away. But you won't be. When you eased in your own thoughts of verdant foliage, rustic charms of sceneries and anything that's warm —he loosens visibly and let's his helm fall into your shoulder.

"You're good to keep around." He murmers, drawling against your uniform before becoming still in your hold.

You hug him tight. The thick lump on your throat is hidden by your smile.

"Yeah..."

It was better not to tell him how charred his mind was.

Ingo gets yeeted with a radio that is magically connected to the future and more specifically to Johanna (dawn/Akari's mom). they have to work together to make sure Dawn/ Akari doesn't die. timey wimey bs happens

PLA pirate au (somehow this got mixed with dnd)

heavily inspired by JRWI: riptide. Pearl clan are pirates (but don't exactly know what pirates are). Diamond clan is Navy. Galaxy Clan is neutral. Rei is the protag and got isekai'd to the world of hisui and turned into a seal (selkie) by a crab (Arceus)

pokemon/Magnus archives crossover au

post mag-200 au where as the Fears are being spread out into the multiverse, they accidentally get snagged on Akari getting taken to hisui. Arceus notices and tries shaking them off, but that only results in separating Jon and Martin, with jon landing in hisui alongside Akari and Martin landing in Gear Station in modern day.

(also annabelle cane and oliver banks also came along landing in Cogita's house and Modern galar respectively)

Ok so I'm curious. Where does the frequency au go? How do Ingo and Johanna end up together?

Thanks for asking, anon.

Well, for the first year and a half their relationship is just them talking to each other. Occasionally, her daughter, Dawn, will speak to Ingo or, sometimes it would be her daughter's friend, Barry, but most of the time it would just be Johanna and Ingo, listening to what the other has to say, airing their grievances, and joking with each other.

But eventually the plot needs to happen.

One day, Johanna just goes silent for about a month. Ingo of course worries for her. When she eventually goes back to the radio to talk to Ingo, her voice is hoarse from crying and yelling for her daughter. She tells him what happened. That her daughter went missing a month ago. Ingo continues to be there for her. This is around when they figure out Ingo is in the past.

Ingo eventually goes to Jubilife Village, as he does in the game, and goes to get the survey corps member. And hey, he found Dawn! She's going under the name Akari, but that's her voice all right. She seemed to recognize his voice as well.

After he gets back to the Highlands to wait for her. He tells Johanna the good news. She of course has a freakout over the fact that her daughter is stuck in the past, but she knows where her daughter is now.

On Johanna's end she starts researching Hisui. She gets Cynthia to help. They get their hands on Laventon's old diaries, learn about everything that happened in Hisui, but at least Dawn is still alive. They have a chance of getting her back again.

Tw: mentions of death under cut.

What's this? They found an entry in a later journal. The handwriting is shaky and tear stains litter the yellowed paper, a complete difference from the rest of the books.

Akari was found dead atop of Mt. Coronet, in a similar way to many other bodies across Hisui, by Warden Ingo of the Pearl clan. A v carved into her. The killer was never caught.

Well now Ingo has to solve a murder in the past before it even happened with the help of Johanna. This only strengthens the bond between Ingo and Johanna.

This au partially follows the plot of the movie Frequency. There's a serial killer.
