Chap 12. ‘Absinthe’

Back on the hotel, you come across Lucas who went for some ice or something. He takes you and Doyoung to his room where everybody else was. Chloe and Blair are smiling at you from afar. You already texted them about last night so probably their imagination run wild when you appeared with Doyoung.

Anyways, Lucas has set a cup in your hands so yeah, it seems like it's time to drink. This time you drink faster than the night before and you can tell. Let's say you've been 10 minutes at the party and you feel already tipsy. Doyoung is talking to Johnny. Renjun, Jisung and Mark are together in some corner drinking. Jisung looks at you and you smile at him. Renjun is looking too now, so you show him the middle finger and laugh at the face he makes. He ends up laughin a little too. You're kinda bored actually. But is not like you want Lucas to start one of his drinking games so, you just wait there for something to happen. A little bit later Johnny appears right in front of you.

-Hey.

-Hi Johnny. -You smile at him.

-You look cute.

-Oh, wow, thank you. You look cute too.

You pull him aside a little to look behind him. Renjun eyes are fixed on you. Not the first time you notice that kind of behavior from him. You're not stupid. But you have to admit that conciously or not, you look for him aswell. You know what they say, there's just one step from hate to love right? That's probably why (even if you don't want to admit it) kissing Mark the other night actually felt so good.

-Skyler? -Johnny is waving at you to bring you back.

-Oh. Did you say something?

-Just asking you if you wanted another drink. -He laughs.

You look at your cup. There's a little bit left but you drink it in one go and give him the cup. -Yes, please.

You take a look back at Renjun. He's still watching. You make a face at him and he's the one showing you the middle finger now. You mouth a mute 'fuck off' at him and he laughs. Damn, he looks cute. You hate him so much.

-Here. -Johnny hands you the drink. Making you turn so you can pay him some attention.

-Thanks. What did you bring me?

-Oh... Doyoung told me to bring anything with vodka so...

-Aww, he did? He remembers, cute.

He laughs uneasily.-Yeah...

-Anyway, thank you. -You pull his shirt so he would bend down so you can give him a peck. He smiles and is about to speak again when someone pushes you and you spill your drink on him. -Omg, Johnny I'm sorry. -You turn to your back to see who pushed you. -Jisung??

-I'm sorry Skyler, Renjun pushed me!

-Ah, did he?- You say, looking for Renjun. He's laughin running away with Mark to the same corner he was before. So childish.

-Anyway I should go to my room and change. -Johnny says.

-Sure. Sorry again. -You apologize.

-Noona I'm really sorry. -Jisung apologizes too.

-It's okay Jisung, it's not your fault.

-Oh, well, then I'm gonna go back to the guys. -He says slowly walking away.

-You tell Renjun he owes me an effing drink.

You sigh, kinda frustrated and go check yourself in the bathroom, just in case that drink got to your clothes somehow. But you're fine. Looking good. When you come out Renjun is waiting for you.

-Wow, are you a stalker now?

-Here. -He says handing you a cup. -Your ‘effing drink’.

-What did you put here? -You ask as you smell it.

-Vodka, absinthe and blue tropic. It should taste fine.

-Sure, and absinthe? Probably would kill me after what I already had.

-Well, yeah. Killing you was the plan. We're enemies, remember?

There it is, your heart skipping a beat. Perhaps you are gonna die tonight indeed. -Okay then. I'm too drunk to fight my destiny. -You say as you atempt to drink that whole cup in just one shot.

-Hey, easy. -He says as he stops you. You cough and he chuckles. -Skyler, maybe you should change your ig name if you can't actually handle absinthe.

-Shut up. -You say as you slightly wipe your mouth with your wrist. -It's your fault I coughed.

I won't shut up, this is funny. -He says laughing.

-Ah.... -You say dramatically as you lean on the walls and slowly walk like that to the aisle where the bathroom is.

-Skyler? What are you doing? -He says following you. He looks kinda worried. You're fighting not to laugh at him just now.

You stop moving once there's nobody else at sight. He's gonna try and comb your hair with his hand so he can see your face better and check you're fine but you hold his hand and pull. His face 2cm away from yours. He's looking into your eyes, waiting. So you slightly caress his lips with yours and watch him eagerly try to kiss you. You smile at yourself a little and he frown, so you give him a peck on the lips and he gives you another one in return. Now is when you kiss him for real. At some point he's so into it he drops his drink and you laugh without breaking the kiss. You only stop kissing when Johnny catches you both when he's heading to the bathroom. He apologizes and goes away. You look at Renjun and both of you start laughing.

-I think you just broke his heart. -He says.

-At least I could shut you up. -You say, giving him a last kiss.

-Yeah... I guess you did.

So yeah you're now at your hotel room. The minute you wake up you feel the butterflies. Actually you drank a lot last night so you're not entirely sure it's a hungover thingy or just the real deal.

Like the other day after you kissed Mark playing 'too hot'. You felt somehow like this after. You wanted to kiss him again, pin him down etc... Like you were so mad at him you were actually thirsty for him if that makes sense somehow. But then Doyoung appeared and you know the rest. This time Doyoung was there but it didn't matter.

You remember something about the guys wanting to go visit more of the city or something like that but honestly you just want to stay there in bed. A shower wouldn't hurt tho. You even wash your hair and everything. You're back in bed just checking IG when you see Renjun's post. He looks cute. And you're sober. That's weird. Mark wasn't cute that way anymore in the morning. You get out of insta and throw your phone away. Then look at it for a while. Not knowing very well what to do. You pick it up and throw it away a couple of times till you finally do something.

Ok, so. Renjun is in your room. Actually he's on your bed, with you, cause you're gonna watch a movie. You need a drink. But you don't wanna be one of those people who drink before lunch. Anyway the movie's starting. It's one of those christmas movies they always come out with in every channel when november's ending. You haven't watched this one but you already know how's gonna end. You'd say you hate them but actually you kinda like the feeling while watching them. It reminds you of easier times. When you were a child and would watch them with your family. Anyway it's kinda cold so you go under the covers.

-You can come too if you want. It's cold. -You offer him.

-Oh, sure. -He takes off his shoes and joins you.

-Ah... By the way if you don't like the movie...

-No, it's okay. I know christmas movies are cheesy but I kinda like them.

-Huh... -You say, thinking to yourself. Then you make yourself comfortable.

Renjun is like really focussed in the movie but you can tell it's totally an act. 'Cause you're doing the exact same thing when actually you could cut the air with a knife right now. You're pretty tired from last night so as the movie goes on you can feel more relaxed and your head is instinctively leaning more and more towards Renjun's shoulder. His hair smells so good.

-Ah. -You say. -I'm just too sleepy to care anymore. I'm gonna rest my head on you. -You say as you do so.

He chuckles. -Sure.

-Hey, I'm shy but not that shy ya know. -You say looking at him from his shoulder. You're as honest being sleepy as when you're actually drunk.

-You're not shy at all. -He laughs.

-I think I am. -You say, pouting to yourself.

He chuckles again. -Okay. -He says, grabbing your hand softly. You interwine your fingers with his in response.

You're blushing and he's too, but you're both looking at the tv so who can tell. You're so comfy there, it feels so safe. You end up falling asleep at some point. When you wake up movie's credits are showing and Renjun is asleep too. You realize you were kinda hugging and blush again. You don't know if you should let it go or just keep hugging him pretending you're still asleep. You choose the second option and close your eyes again. He wakes up a little bit later and have almost the same reaction as you. Only he just caresses your face softly. You open your eyes slowly and look at him. Then you move so you can be closer to his face, and after looking at him from there for a second you just kiss him.

Really long: Dragon AU

(sorry about paragraphs that seem rambly, this was me throwing ideas together. A fic that I was going to write but never got to it but it NEEDS to be made)

In which Hisoka is a dragon that terrorizes the kingdom of the Zoldycks, stealing livestock from farms, burning down towns, and killing all of their strongest warriors, including the ones sent to kill him. A truly fearsome beast indeed. 

They try to arrange for like a meeting with him but he doesnt show up the first time. Of course, the Zoldycks get pissed and Kikyo would throw a fit because how dare that vile creature, but they would call him again and again and just out of one part boredom and one part annoyance, hisoka would show up. Of course, despite how irritated they are, the two heads(most Silva since Kikyo is still internally fuming) would try to negotiate. But although interested in the gold they offered, Hisoka declines everything(as he does what he does for entertainment).

They ask him what he wants. He seems to think for a bit before asking for the whole household to gather in front of him. After looking, he picks killuia(that white haired kid of yours) since he thought he'll be the strongest/have the most potential(so they can fight lol). He doesnt really notice Illumi because he was kinda in a corner and is basically a shadow(as always), but Kikyo offers up illumi instead(he's my oldest[son]) because of course Hisoka cant take the heir- and Hisoka is would just be like 'eh sure he should be pretty strong too' and decides to let killuia 'ripen'. 

-a kinda transgression by having it sort of from the servants point of view? like 'the eldest prince, Illumi, was very...strange, even in his particularly weird  family. (Mention how he was like robot, empty dark home eyes, almost no emotion, follows orders, has a terrible empty aura kinda feeling, and is creepily good at fighting and killing) i have no idea im sorry

But when he actually gets Illumi the next day or something he's kinda like 'oh u arent scared' and Illumis like 'nah. Now what do u wanna do with me like srsly'

Illumi really longs for his house at first and is sort of at a loss at what to do without any orders, so he kinda just sits around and misses his bed and waits for Hisoka to get back or something. He’s glad that he was taken in place of killuia, as long as his family(and heir) were safe. 

-He eventually adjust, realizing that the silence in the cave really wasnt that new or different than in the castle

-Hisoka terrorizes a new town instead to make up his part of the bargain(although he goes back in his human form to see whats up sometimes) and its like most of the time he would just walk around in his human form as it was more convenient to fight people and yet not get him kicked out/ have to deal with the bother of people shouting at him for being a dragon and waving pitchforks and stuff, but he was kinda going for a chillaxing time when he decided to dragon form wreck Illumis kingdom. He had heard that it was a very strong kingdom of assassins, fairly famous, and he had decided to blow off some steam fighting, and he wasn't disappointed. Much.But anyway Illumi's kingdom was a little out of the way for him, he had to take longer time to reach there, the mountainous kingdom. Dragons all had one cave, unless they wanted to move their treasures to another one/ had another cave just for other treasures. His cave took almost 7/9 hours to fly to from the Zoldyck kingdom, and dragons flew pretty fast.

The Zoldyck family of assassins are basically a miniature kingdom, small with a town underneath their mountain that they protect. The town is relatively normal, with most everyone looking up to the deadly family looking after them. But there are some that try to train to become assassins with the zoldycks as inspiration(maybe they sponsor an assassin guild for the smaller kills they dont bother wasting time with).

-A random asshole villager dude saw illumi in town once with a disguise(as a female) and fell in ‘love’ and trains to be an assassin to rescue her(him) from the dragon. Inwardly he also wants to get into the zoldyck family as well, thinking he can if he impresses them with his rescue of illu and then marrying 'her'. Access to all that wealth and power made one considered untouchable. Illu is disgusted when he hears about this and claims that such a weakling wouldnt last a second in the presence of him nor his family.

-Anyway They both go to town together sometimes. In disguises of course, or if Illumi needs groceries

-eventually they just fall into an easy pattern and be friends and include a scene where Hisokas like 'alright Illu get ready another knight is here to rescue you(because they think you're a girl cough cough) and Illumis kinda just reading a book and letting out the occasional 'frightened(more like monotone) scream from his 'prison'(a giant birdcage cuz Hisoka is flashy as fuck) and the knight is kinda like 'ok that didnt sound like a very convincing scream/her voice isnt that great but i heard her beauty was astounding' -anyway so like Hisoka fuckin rekts him of course and one time a knight actually goes "RELEASE PRINCESS ILLUMI' and Hisoka smirks and Illumi twitches and after the knight is turned into crisps Hisoka turns to Illumi with a shit eating grin like "so i guess youre a princess. You never told me.."And Illumis just like fuck you

(very optional/not really fitting angst)

angst in how Kikyo gave up Illumi(the eldest. The strongest of the children. The one whos been with her the longest.) for Killuia, proving that she cared about him more. 'Or maybe it was because he was older, and this was just one of his responsibilities. But he couldn't help the foreign feeling of something shallowly sinking in his chest' Illumi still is kinda obsessed with Kil, but its more because he was suppose to be the heir and also Mil was kinda a bad child and Illumi actually was lonely so kil played with him a lot but their relationship slowly twisted into a sort of love hate for Illumi. Because even though he didnt care too much about the crown, he did care for his family. Although he wouldnt admit it; and his training refused to show a slip in his mask, Illumi did feel strangely empty when his family rained affection on Kil and only turned to him with orders on their lips. But no it couldnt be jealousy, no WAY would he be jealous of his younger bro! Hahaha! (Just keep telling yourself that, Ill)

-Hisoka considers Illumi part of his 'treasure'/hoard and as all dragons are, he is fiercely protective of his hoard. Not that any thief could make it past Illumi, much less hurt him too much.

-when people describe illumi as 'beautiful and skilled' everyone always assumes that 1. Illu is a woman, and 2, 'skilled' meant as in embroidery or the such. Not in fighting/killing/assassinating. Not that he cant do embroidery because fuck yeah he can and frick yeah does it look good.So everyone is surprised when they see him decked out in armor with a blade pointed at their throat

-illumi like dies or almost dies and is turned into a dragon? Very rare, something about dragons being magical beings - anything can happen blah blah hisoka’s magic dragon magic infused into his body and now he’s filled with dragon magic that his strong will and body and mind turned into his own magic (i dont know where this idea came from, or really how else to explain it- just that past me had a good idea in mind that I now can’t remember)

-sleek, completely black dragon with blue gleam in scales if light hit them just right and sharp, wicked spines/spikes. All sharp angles and sharp lines, like any move can cut someone into ribbons. Deadly. He made hisoka, who was by no means a cuddly looking dragon, look almost soft-but despite misleading appearances, hisoka was definitely the more dangerous. What he lacked in looks he made up for in sheer brute strength and cunning.maybe stronger fire range too.

- illumi breathes blue flames, much much hotter. But small range. And could not stay in dragon form for long since originally human and originally not his dragon magic(it was like oxygen, reusable, but still limited).  Both of them had hard scales

If you looked carefully, you could tell. Hisoka was taller, bigger, you could see muscles rippling through every limb. Illumi lurked more in the shadows, looking slightly bored. .

hmmm idk what to tell you about making them too light or too dark, because that’s a very specific thing that really depends on the picture. BUT i know that the dodge tool is my bff for brightening up dark pictures while still retaining some of the darker elements you want in them (aversely, the burn tool will help darken parts), messing with the exposure can also really help, coloring can also help too, selective color is my bff especially with blue shadows and orangey skin...this is kind of a broad answer, i’m sorry, but if you needed help with something specific, let me know!

I remember you answered an ask and said you drew tears when you edit right? Is there a reason you don't use CC tears?

i answered this like two weeks ago but i can’t find it so whateveR i’ve used cc tears a few times but there’s only like three of those in existence and my characters have cried a LOT. i feel like it would be kinda weird if they had the same tears every time. also there are just some variations that i like to customize myself by drawing, like sometimes they’ll be full on sobbing, sometimes just one single tear...it just depends on the situation, that’s why i draw ‘em.

Would you recommend buying a macbook for playing sims?

if a macbook is what you already have, then yeah, i’d say it suffices without many problems. if you’re specifically going out and buying a computer with the knowledge that you’ll be playing sims on it, then mmmmmm i’d probably say no...but it also depends on if you’re like gonna get REALLY into storytelling and cc n shit or if it’s just casual gameplay with a mods folder that’s like 5 gb or less...if it’s the latter i think it should also be fine. but yeah it just depends on what kind of gaming you’re planning on doing.

hi hello so maybe I am just a blind bean but may I ask how in god's name do you get your images to be so crisp? I have everything set up, but it seems as if when I do my thing in Photoshop, everything turns out lookin like a blobfish. I'm not sure if you use another person's topaz settings or if you have your own. Thank you so much if you do respond bc I was too much of a wuss to message you *cries in Spanish*

OMG well it’s mostly just resizing, smart sharpening, and most importantly topaz clean (see above) that makes them so crisp. i also use the sharpen tool on sims’ faces, and the smudge tool when something is particularly pixelated or whatever. everything i do is listed in here! UR NOT A WUSS *hugs you in spanish*

youre my inspiration to be a better writer. I know i'm good and giving characters depth and backgrounds and coming up with a rough story idea. but i rush things and i'm not great at putting it into a good story so ya. My story on simblr started out as casual gameplay but i wanted it to be more and i'm trying to get better @ everything

OMG ;_________; it sounds like you are a good writer already, and it’s awesome that you recognize your strengths while also acknowledging that you need to work on some things as well. i try to do the same and i think that’s what keeps me level headed. it sounds like you just need to dedicate some time to planning, that way you start to realize all the nuances of your story that come together to flesh out that initial rough idea. you seem to have a positive attitude, so that’s great!! you’re already getting better and better, i know it <3

Am I the only one who's like... really mad about pets being NPCs? I just feel like being able to control them was the best part. I don't really feel like the EP is worth it without them. Like, don't get me wrong, I understand that the team worked really hard on it, but I feel like they didn't do it as well as they could have.

hmm i’m kind of meh on that front because like on one hand i did like controlling pets and the novelty of the fact that you could just see their different interactions firsthand, but ultimately i think i’m okay with not controlling them because it makes it more realistic for me and honestly they’re probably more likely to take care of themselves a little bit more if they’re automated, because i’m just thinking about ts3 pets and how i literally had to make them go pee outside otherwise they’d pee in the house...even if they were well trained and stuff lmao. plus there might be a cheat or mod that lets you control them, like there was in ts2? so don’t lose hope yet.

(I really need to get this off my chest) ok so my aunt is currently in a critical condition after having a kidney failure and she's in desperate need for a new one and I'm the only one in my family that's a match (so far) but I'm not allowed to donate bc I myself have severe health issues affecting my day to day life that would make it extremely dangerous for me to remove a kidney. Ok I gotta rant. GoT does NOT deserve the hype/amazing ratings. Like, sure the cinematography is pretty great and they have ok actors but the freaking script is so mediocre I actually think I could write a better one. Me. A 16 y/o tiny child. There are so much better shows out there! Hell, even Supernatural has a better script than GoT

whenever ppl agree with me about how much GoT sucks i grow stronger and stronger even the actors are iffy at this point. watching daenerys act is painful, jon snow is wooden as hell, it’s just bad. ur 16 yr old self has more potential than these writers tbh. it’s just completely mediocre; it started out as something great because it followed the same layered storytelling pattern as the books, but it’s diverged from that completely because the writers got too caught up in the hype. and you’re right, it doesn’t deserve that hype! omfdkjsgkj i’ve never watched supernatural but i haven’t heard good things. that’s a low bar

her real name is karlene alexandra gothel, and she is the child of the infamous mother gothel from tangled.

make sure you remember her middle name bc it plays a key role in the story

she definitely does not go by karlene anymore

she goes by lexi instead for reasons that i will explain momentarily

honest it would be best if you didn’t call her karlene tbh you’d probably get punched or spit on not sure which

though she doesn’t introduce herself as karlene gothel anymore so like y’all might be safe from that

okay so the first thing to know about her is that she pretty much hates everyone and everything. i wish i was exaggerating but i promise you that i’m not. she’s genuinely the worst. like, she truthfully doesn’t care about you or your feelings and that will probably never change.

i should probably talk about her birth now though shouldn’t i because like “woah how did gothel have a kid what no way !!” Alright, here’s the story. So, a loooong time ago, a droplet of sunlight fell from the sky and from it grew the infamous magic golden flower that set everything up for the events of Tangled. That night, though, a droplet of moonlight fell as well, thus growing a magic silver flower. I know, creative, right? Anyways, that magic silver flower was never discovered, because it ended up being covered up by weeds and vines. Fast forward to when Rapunzel’s hair is cut and Gothel falls out the window of the tower. It’s implied that she’s dead, but that wasn’t the case. What ended up happening was that Gothel used the last bit of magic she had left and used it to disappear, ending up deep in the forests of Corona. After wandering around for days, looking like a frail old woman who should have died hundreds of years ago, she came across that Magic Silver Flower. You can imagine how shook she was. I know I would’ve been shooketh as hell. She probably thought she was seeing things. anyways she dug up that flower and washed it off in the river to get all the dirt off the roots and then she ate that bitch right then and there.

surprise surprise it turNED HER YOUNG AGAIN !!! and by young I mean like she looked to be in her early thirties.

And then she moved into a village on the outskirts of Corona where no one would find her, and met a man named Henry. Gothel felt absolutely nothing for Henry whereas he was beyond smitten with her. tbh Gothel used him for fun but then she found out she was pregnant so she packed up what little she had and ended up back in her tower.

When Karlene was born, the first thing Gothel noticed was that her eyes were a startling silver color, and the baby’s skin had a sort of ... glowing hue to it? And it was then that Gothel realized just how special this child was, and that the effects of the Moon Flower passed down into her daughter. 

Realizing this was what awoke the greedy side of Gothel, and she felt the need to covet this child the same way she coveted Rapunzel. The only difference was, Karlene fucking despised it growing up. She literally hated that tower. If you were to ask her about the tower now, she’d clench her fists and say she wants to burn it down. She hated that tower so much that when Gothel was away on a trip to the market, she left.

This is both the best and worst thing that Karlene had done for herself. The best, because she was finally free of that godforsaken tower. The worst, because she was only free for a good six hours.

Homegirl took off as soon as she was outside, and ran until she got to a river bank. Keep this in mind, because it’s important.

At that river bank, she was approached by two really big, scary looking dudes. If you’ve ever seen Tangled, I’m just going to tell you that said dudes are the Stabbington Brothers aka the two guys Flynn went to steal the Crown with. 

She tried to fight them off and ended up pushing one of them so hard that he stumbled back, and this was super surprising to the brothers bc that didn’t happen very often. So they talked her into following them (( stupid girl )) and led her to the Snuggly Duckling, where they proceeded to show her the secret entrance into the Mines of Corona. As they got deeper through the mines, they came upon yet another secret door, which led to a tunnel that brought all three of them to a warehouse of sorts. In this warehouse was a giant red mat, and some of the most malicious, nasty looking people you’ve ever dreamed of. Adults, and teenagers alike. 

basically !!!!!! they brought her to an illegal fight club !!! and threw her into the ring without any experience with a lot of money bet on her winning !! and shE GOT THE SHIT BEAT OUT OF HER !!! but honestly karlene is one of those girls who is like definitely not going down without getting a punch in (( even though she’s never fought anyone in her whole life #yikes )) so she got back up and spit blood in her opponents eyes and punched him as hard as she could and ended up knocking this kid out.

she ended up living in that warehouse in like apartments above the room where the ring is and stayed there until she was eighteen and p much became the main event like she was a real money floater every criminal around had heard of her and wanted to face off against her and a lot of them lost but some of them won u kno how it is

BUT THEN GOTHEL somehow heard thru the grapevine where her precious moonlight was and hopped her ass into that warehouse and honestly the sight of her shook lexi so much that she wasnt paying attention to her opponent and got the shit knocked out of her

and when she woke up, she was outside in the grass being scolded by gothel

who pulled the whole “mother knows best” shit on her to which lexi was like “lol hell no” and gothel was all “wow the disrespeCT !! if u think ur so big and bad lets truly see how u do on ur own” and shipped her ass off to wda

where she has been for a year currently

she is very into provoking people honestly like she doesn’t have a fight club here yet (or at least she hasnt found one) and is rlly itching to fight someone again 

she likes to see who’s going to take the first swing

OK SO TODAY WAS THE BTS CONCERT YES TODAY WAS D DAY THIS WAS IT THIS WAS THE BEST DAY OF MY FUCKIGN LIFE AND OMG OMOGMOGMOMG I HAVE SO MANY FUKING FEELS RIGHT NOW I MUST WRITE OK SO 

first of all the pre-concert period was a shitshow ok bt SO WORTH IT FASTFORWARD OK SO

ok when we first sat down it was just like so overwhelming and beautiful to see so many people who love bts sitting together in the same space

spring day mv was playing and everyone was singing along and it was so beautiful

and then the intro started to play and it was just the boys and honestly i don’t really remember what it’s about now i just know i teared up rly bad because i was sosososoososso EMO. like thankful i think? to be able to stand there and to be able to actually see the boys up close

lke i was just so overwhelmed fjljalgkjLKJDFKA and then they came out like they actually appeared behind the screen and then omg all hell broke loose like ya girl and everyone else did not understand the meaning of chill and self control ok. NOT TODAY was first and it was so fucking lit and my first impression was that omg. THEY WERE! CLOSE!!!!!!!

BUT LIVE!!!!! HE IS SUCH AN EMOTIONAL SINGER I LOVE HIM SO MUCH and he did the dance so well and he’s just so perfect and beautiful and wonderful in every way

the yoongi solo was soo. EMOTIONAL. I SWEAR OMG I LOVE THE ORCHESTRA AND THE FACT THAT HE WAS SITTING IN FRONT OF A PIANO SINGING HIS LOVE FOR PIANO AND MUSIC AND THE WHOLE PERFORMANCE. FDJSAKGJ;LAKJGLKAJ ; like honestly it’s oen of my favorite songs from the album because it’s so well written and he does it sosososososo well like the emotion is so palpable and raw even in the track, especially the last verse. so it was so good to just hear it live and it was just that much more stunning and impactful and just SUCH AN EXPERIENCE. i love the song so much

ok and then namjoon was next and his intro really fucked me up because it took me a lil bit to realize but it’s their “road” song with the heya heya and it’s mixed with whalien 52 for a little bit and idk why but it made me so emo. like the road song is about their hard journey and how they’ll work their hardest to try to reach the end of the road and i lovelovelove how namjoon used that in his intro because i think it’s so beautiful and sobering to know that the song means a lot to him? because thinking about it, he probably was under so much pressure not only for his own success but also for his teammates and it must’ve been hard on him as a young boy who’s really just been the “smart guy” who decided to follow his dream but then ended up having to be responsible for a whole group of boys who are like family to him, and their collective success. and i love that he included whalien 52 because he wrote it and it’s still to this date one of my favorite songs because it’s so cute but sad and real at the same time, which is kinda like namjoon’s embodiment? the song fits him so well like it’s just how he’s like the lonely whale that people don’t seem to understand because he’s on his own wavelength. i’ve always felt this vibe that ofc bangtan are all close but namjoon’s thoughts are so deep and abstract and mature sometimes that the rest of the boys don’t relate very well? like lol especially the maknae line BUT OK ANYWAY I DIGRESS. i really appreciated namjoon’s song because it was like a nice chill break which is what it was like in the album too. BUT MY FAVE PART OFC IS WHEN AT THE END HE KEEPS REPEATING “I WISH I COULD LOVE MYSELF” AND EVERYONE REPEATED TO HIM, “WE LOVE YOU” omg i’m getting emo just typign this out i really really wanna see how he reacted when he first heard it. omg ok anyway the end IT WS GREAT

namjoon is the best i love him so much like during the ment he was talking aobut the rainbow army and then he said that he thinks music transcends anything like language and race and he said “i don’t care if you’re red or blue or orange (referring to the balloon colors” and i thought that was so clever because it was like a metaphor for real life races and i think it’s so fitting given the current political climate in the us and i’m so proud of him for bringing this up!!!!!! also the part where everyone sang together and they all thanked us and i was just like TTTTTTTTT bc I REALLY WANT TO THANK THEM because namjoon was like, as long as we love each other, you’ll never walk alone and YOU KNOW WHAT. IT’S TRUE. IT’S SOSOSOSOSO TRUE. at one of the concert i just looked at them and got emo because no matter what happens in life next, no matter how sad or angry or frustrated or disappointed or tired i get, they’ll always be there to cheer me up. i’m so happy that i foudn them and that i love them so much because it’s so nice to have them with me :) they always make me laugh and i respect them so much. what i confirmed today is that they really are so sososos hardworking and sososos talented and definitely deserving of all the love they receive. i’m so proud of where they are now. I REALLY AM. during 2,3 there was a video of just their growth from the beginning and it made me SO EMO OK. like i haven’t been a fan since the beginning and i wish i have but the fact that they made it from being a literal NUGU to being so so big that they filled up prudential center. they’re SO GOOD LIVE. aside from talent, they’ve also improved so much and that just shows how hard they work. i’m so appreciative of their hard work and the fact that they were able to make it this big because of their hardwork and talent. they really are an amazing group of individuals!!!!!! like such a wonderful group of boys that are incredibly talented but also have such big kind hearts and are so funny and entertaining but also relatable and down to earth and friendly and inspirational. my back hurts and im very tired but i dont want to go to bed. i was going to write in my real life physical notebook but i already hurt from being sleepy as fuck and my legs are sore from doing squats while resetting shelves at work. my thighs better be toned for the rest of my life after those hours of labor lmao. my sister and i started the wedding favors for my wedding today, 36 wine glasses, with design i made masked off and the glass will soon be etched. theyre good be amazing except for the ones that are wonky. we were talking today about how bad we are at story telling. i always get so caught up in my store telling and she does as well. i like to tell people personal stories of mine and bring up things that remind me of things cos i love when things connect. but it’s hard to explain to people out of the blue a story i remembered or whatever. and some people are so good at it. just off the cuff, narrating their memories, with dialogue and intrigue. if i have time, i can focus and put together a written true story, but irl, on the spot, i just fumble and my stories end up endless or anticlimactic. i have a hard time knowing when to be sentimental and long winded or when to be short and to the point. i do that in any of my writing. i flip flop between being conceptual and writing about my head, and being factual and writing about two things summarized briefly. if i dont know what to type, i just start talking about things that happened in real life on this blog. those are days when my head isnt fogged, cos otherwise i just fuckin go on here. i have made a habit of rereading my old blogs on here and ive realized this, especially since writing in my journal has come as a challenge. surprisingly. i thought i was going to be so good at it and it was going to be so cute, but i treat it like every other thing and over do it. i put aesthetic above content priority wise and wish i could just write without wondering if im doing wrong. the other challenge is having so much to write about, but not having the physical will to hold pencil to paper for long enough to write about all of it. i always close the book feeling like the entries are unfinished. i do that with everything i do too, tho, to be fair. nothing ever feels done. theres always like, one more thing i could do. i feel like im never fully put together when i get dressed, i feel like my colored pencil drawings could use another hour of work, then things that are actually never ending never even get started cos i know ill be in that loop forever if i do. laundry is the worst one. you can never be done with laundry unless you’re naked, and for me, laundry can never be fully done and put away and every thing clean unless every one is naked, which is not practical, so it’s never really done. three people wearing clothes that aren’t put away is a small load of clothes just walking around. i could complain about laundry for the rest of my life. i hate washing socks. socks are the enemy. and having so many different pairs is self propagated warfare against myself. i hate complaining about adulthood. idk if ive admitted this yet but yea. i hate the struggle, and i hate writing about the struggle, and i hate reading about other people struggling. i have a mindset of ‘ya gotta do the things ya gotta do’ about all the big aspects of my life. taking care of my toddler, working, talking to people i dont want to talk to, and you dont complain cos then you have to face people who think theyre wise beyond their years for pointing out that no one has a choice in adulthood, which is contradictory to their fun lil ableist inspo memes, saying happiness is a choice or what the fuck ever other lies. i also hate memes about messes mean happy/fed/safe kids. theyre on the defense of a battle no one is fighting them in. no one gives a shit. and the people who do give a shit have messier houses. anyways complaining about adulthood or defending adulthood or celebrating adulthood is all silly after like, 19 years of age. idk. just do the things you have to do, know that everyone does them, theres no escape, its all hell, we all hate doing things too. wash your frustratingly mismatched socks in silence like me lol.
