A Marvel Family What-If : What If They grow up normally?
If the suspendium event and the rest of the shazam 1970s comic series didn't happen, i wondered what the future would be for the golden age Marvel Family
Billy: Mr Morris would probably hand over Whiz station to Billy, so he'd be the new owner of the station. Happily married to Cissie Sommerly
Mary: based on my previous headcanon on her being a fashion model (because i kept seeing mary being used as a model for back to school advertisements or clothing advertisements in fawcett comics), I'd like to think she'd own a Fashion magazine brand or continued the Shazam.inc business after Uncle Dudley's passing
Freddy: He'd probably open a comic book shop. In future days where he is in his 70s-80s, he'd write comics based on his previous diary entries of his adventures with the marvel family with a fake pen-name, as the newer generation are not familliar about the family and thinks of his comics as fictional
Kit: He tries to spend as much time with his brother after revealing himself accidentally, going out everyday to fish in a boat or to admire nature. It was a bit sad seeing everyone grow old as he stays the same, but it saddens him even more when Freddy started forgetting past events in his older years, it was why he would often read Freddy's diary back to him
Tawky Tawny: Tawny had a pretty long and famous life, still relaxing with the marvel family, being a businessman, a hollywood actor once. He was incredibly famous that they tried to make a documentary on his life! Sadly, there weren't any young tigers who could talk and walk like him to play the role as Tawny (let alone a tiger who wouldn't maul the camera crew), so they used CGI despite Tawny's complaint about the tiger being uncanny
idk, it's just these headcanon that popped into my head if the family grow up normally without the events of the 1970s shazam continuing the golden age, sorry if thid had reached some light-angsty territory (i know my angst writing is bad, forgive me for the cringe :>

Chrissy who knows Billy’s size in women’s clothing and has detected a certain flexibility in his gender presentation that he doesn’t quite have the words for so when she shops and sees something he would like she’ll randomly get it for him. And sometimes she sees something they’d both like which is why they have a collection of matching shirts. And some skirts. One or two dresses.
This drives Steve and Eddie crazy whenever they’re on laundry duty.

More Stardew Valley Future Headcanons because I fell in love with all the characters
This is rather long, and I definitely didn't cry writing the last bit of this
Vincent, Jas and Leo had some interesting teenage years as they grew up right when Pelican town went under some intense renovations and restorations. There was one new building in particular that always piqued their curiosity.
Up near the adventurer’s guild, a shabby little hut was built, almost hiding behind a rock face. It just seemed to appear overnight, and it looked like it had stood there for a hundred years. They always dared each other to enter it, and after a long night of stealing wine from Gus’s cellar, they finally worked up the courage to enter. They weren’t expecting to find anything, but when they walked inside, they found a rather spacious, well-lit room, and by a table in the middle of the room, there was a small person in leather armour and a bronze helmet playing cards with a shadowy creature that didn’t have any discernible facial creatures, aside from a horrible, gaping white mouth.
They never forgot that particular outing.
As they grew up, Vincent grew into a kind young man with a gift for storytelling. The restless, moody child was gone, but he still retained his boyish charm his entire life, and even well into his thirties and forties, was still getting into trouble for various shenanigans. The great beer heist of ’31 was so insane it was published in the new copy of A Complete History of Stardew Valley that Elliot wrote with help from the aging Gunther. He never truly left home, but after a while, he came to look after Jodi and Kent, and made an online store selling various products that kept them afloat. Sometimes, all the children would gather in the Community Centre playroom, and he would sit down with them and tell them all the stories he had thought of, and they loved it! He spoke with such passion and flair, even his more boring and mundane stories sounded like grand adventures. Whenever he walked through town, at least one of the children would race up to him to say hello, which he loved.
Jas loved all the changes that were happening to Pelican Town, but one place that never changed was the beach. Sometimes she would walk out there by herself and sit down on the bench by Willy’s shop and just unwind. Vincent and Leo could be incredibly intense at times, and sometimes she just needed her own space. Every so often, Elliot would sit with her, and sometimes they would discuss whatever he was writing at the time or whatever was happening in the town, but they would mostly just sit there and enjoy the companiable silence. After a little while, she became good friends with Willy as well. He introduced her to fishing, which she enjoyed immensely, and she showed him how to look after their animals. He didn’t enjoy that as much, but he tried to listen to what she said. The blue chickens never seemed to look quite right to him.
However, Jas came to love fishing more and more, and once she turned 16, Willy started taking her out on small fishing trips during the summer, cruising up and down the coast. The ocean gave her a freedom she never knew she needed, away from the stresses of the ongoing war and the day-to-day life of Pelican Town.
After she graduated, Jas was given invitations to several colleges in Zuzu city and beyond, but in the end, she decided to decline all of them. Instead, she saved up, and bought her own fishing boat. In the summer, she would hire a crewmate or two, and they would spend a few months fishing along the coast of the Ferngill Republic, selling them whenever they pulled in to a new dock. When she returned home, she would spend the rest of the year back in her room on Marnie’s farm. While the fishing was nice and the pay was good enough, she busied herself throughout the rest of the year helping Marnie out with the animals. And just for fun, for the few months of winter with nothing to do, she would ask to help out with one of the other businesses in Pelican Town. When she was about 25, the farmer asked her if she wanted to spend a few months helping them out with a project in the desert they called ‘The Skull Caverns Dive.’ That was intense. It also let her know that the farmer was someone that was never, ever to be crossed.
Leo had a hard time adjusting to life in Pelican Town at first. It was quite different to his life on the island, and he found talking to people all the time to be quite exhausting. Jas and Vincent were kind enough to him though, and in time, he found them to be excellent friends. He never felt quite brave enough to leave his tree house behind, however. When he was up there, he could almost imagine he was living on the island again. Penny spent a long time making sure that Leo got a proper education, including extra tutoring so that he could read, write and do most basic maths within a few years. He enjoyed the practise, but he never truly felt that they were skills he would necessarily need. Linus was a big part of his life as well. Most evenings they could be found together sitting around his campfire, talking and laughing. Vincent and Jas would come and sit sometimes, but for the most part, they respected the distance and left them to it.
One day, when Leo returned from hanging out with Vincent and Jas in the Cindersnap Forest, he found that Linus had just… disappeared. His tent was empty, and the fire had gone cold. Leo didn’t bother looking for him, he could feel in his heart that Linus was gone. It took him some time to get over it, but he kept the fire going and never took down his tent. For a long time, he was okay. He would venture into Pelican Town sometimes, and the people were always friendly to him, but it was never quite the same. He knew that they didn’t hate him, but he just didn’t fit in either.
And then one late fall day, as he was foraging for grubs, he heard a familiar squawk. Turning around, he saw an old friend sitting in the treetops, and next to him, a parrot that looked a lot like one of the parrots from Ginger Island. It was a long time since he had spoken their language, but he could still make out the words.
“Come home.”
The blue silhouette of Linus was smiling, and behind him, he could make out two wispy shapes. There were no definitive facial features, but he could feel their love. His parents were gone from this realm, but they would never truly leave.
Vincent and Jas were quite understanding, they always knew Pelican Town wasn’t truly his place. Jas offered to boat him over, but the Farmer, who was mysteriously nearby, had another idea.
Placing his hand on the obelisk, he could hear the birds squawking and smell the lush, wet foliage of his old jungle home. And then he was gone. The Farmer made them swear to never tell another soul about the Obelisk, and as long as they did, he kept the gateway from Pelican Town to Ginger Island open for Leo to visit as he pleased. And he did, quite frequently. The other people in the town knew he had left, but everyone was always excited for him to visit, especially Gus, who could cook wonders with the Walnuts that Leo brought back for him.
Pelican Town was changed, but it was always the magical place where they had thousands of adventures growing up.
Feel free to add to this if you want

I have one thing on my mind as of lately and that's a headcanon-dream-scenario-scene with nashuri in Avengers Kang Dynasty/Secret Wars where in the middle of a battle when everything seems to be going south and Namor is like on the ground, injured or something like that, and Shuri finding him then refusing to leave.
Basically something along the line of:

when gay marriage is legalized, nancy and robin finally have the wedding they’ve been planning for decades. it takes them forever to decide on the location, but they end up getting married in boston, where they first were able to truly love each other. the whole party attends; steve stands proudly beside robin as her best man, and max, who nancy had grown very close to as the years went on, is nancy’s maid of honor. ted refuses to show up, so hopper gives nancy away. it’s a small wedding, but it is so full of love you’d think it was one of hundreds. there are tearful toasts, drunken dances, and joyful moments galore, and at the end of the night, robin and nancy get into their car and head for the airport for their honeymoon in paris, finally, finally able to call each other wife.

Headcanon: Since what the Breech home lacked in love it compensated with in material goods-jewelry, clothing, fresh fruits and exotic goods, Gunther grew up surrounded by excess, and as an adult he still surrounds himself with lots and lots of things...but they're not all for him. Anyone, regardless of who they are, can knock on Gunther Breech's door and request an extra coat, or snacks, or bandages, and he'll provide it. It's high time his family's wealth was actually put to good use.

Doin’ Somethin’ Right  by  Layne Faire
Liam is certain he's finally put all the pieces of the puzzle back together. He was back on stage with his boys, doing what he loved, in front of the fans who had never forgotten them. He'd also reunited with Zayn, rekindling the love they'd once thought had been lost forever.
While Liam craved the bright lights and excitement of being on the road, Zayn has eschewed his prior fame, instead choosing a life of relative obscurity as the owner of a vineyard and bed and breakfast in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
Lam is determined to protect Zayn's privacy at all costs, but some days the separation is harder than others.

Written for the 2022 1D Country Fic Fest, and inspired by the song Must be Doin' Somethin' Right by Billy Currington.
SO SO  much love to Mia, @so-why-let-your-voice-be-tamed, for cheering me on, and stepping in to beta on short notice, as well as create the lovely mood board. You are such an incredible young lady, and I’m honored you consider me your internet mum.

Sweet 16 Hookup AU
So it’s Dipper and Mabel’s sweet 16 and Mabel invites Candy and Grenda down to Piedmont to help her with a very important mission - turn the birthday party into a hookup party for Dipper. She convinced their parents to go out on a date for the night and the guest list consists of her, Dipper, Candy, Grenda, and every eligible gay guy they could find at school and in the neighborhood. Of course, Dipper is immediately sus.
Dipper: Mabel! Who are all these guys?! I thought you were over your boy crazy phase...
Grenda: (all too loudly) Does he seriously not notice that all these guys are gay...?
Dipper: Gay...? Mabel? Is this a hookup party...? For me...?
Mabel: Maaaaaaaybeeeee....?
Dipper sighs and wanders off. Not too long into the party though, he does meet a guy he rather likes, but being his socially awkward self, panics and holes himself up in the bathroom and starts writing up a 15-step plan to introduce himself. He’s about to get up the nerve to leave the bathroom when he hears the noise from balcony increase and a blonde climbs in through the window above the bathtub, smelling of weed.
Before Dipper can react, the blonde notices the list and snatches it out of Dipper’s hand, reading it.
Blonde: (laughs) You’re such a nerd! You don’t need a plan to meet a guy! All you need is a few smooth moves.
Dipper: L-like what...?
The blonde leans in and kisses Dipper, the taste of weed makes Dipper gag, but he doesn’t not like it... They get lost for several minutes just talking when they get startled by someone knocking on the door demanding to be let in. They laugh and leave together, and upon reaching the living room, they run into Mabel, who’s confused because she doesn’t recognize the blonde as one of the guests she invited. But she soon shrugs it off, at least her brother finally found a boyfriend!
Jump ahead two years to Dipper and Mabel’s 18th birthday, Dipper and the blonde, named Wills, have been dating steadily and Dipper decided to invite Wills with him and Mabel to Oregon to meet the Stans, who had finally gotten back in from their latest trip. However something weird starts happening once they enter Gravity Falls, Wills starts having severe headaches and feels like he’s hearing things.
Wills takes a walk through the woods to clear his head when he happens upon a small clearing with something in the middle that looks like it’s made of stone, but it’s overgrown with brush and vines. He clears it off, but then begins to panic as he backs away from it. Before him sits an object he’s seen in his dreams his entire life - the statue of Bill Cipher.
He steps forward hesitantly and reaches out, compelled to reach out to shake the statue’s hand. Minutes later, Dipper enters the clearing behind him, who looks over to find Wills hunched over in front of the statue. He rushes over to help, but backs away when Wills turns to him, his eyes now have an ethereal yellow glow as he looks at the brunette with a cruel grin.

Francis is hypersexual from trauma, though it’s not something he would bring up, It’s embarrassing to not have control over your own body. After he frees himself, he stops prostituting himself. The issue with this though, his body still has needs and he has no control over it. Either tries to ride it out with a cold shower, cold bath, curl up in a ball or relieve himself. It happens far too many times in a day and gets distressing. Gets in the way when he’s constantly in a state he can’t control.
Manages it however he can, and though prostitution did help satisfy this need on a daily basis, used his body to his own advantage and survival to control these needs well as as get paid for it, he doesn’t want to go back into that lifestyle. Finally frees himself from his past and what happened to him, it’s something he wants to move on from. Refuses to go back to the life he had before, any part of it so he grits his teeth and bares it. He’s more irritable due to how stressful it is and how unbearable it becomes. Annoyed easily and snappy, more so than he normally is.

Also, one of the game devs for Cult of the Lamb said this in the official discord server:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So people that are worried about how the comic might affect aspects of the characters, it's not canon. Massive Monster isn't writing the story and it's to be considered separate from the game. Take what you like and leave what you don't like.

What would Stardew Valley look like some time in the future?
These are just my headcanons, but i love all the NPC's of Stardew so much i wanna write em some endings. (Feel free to expand on any of my ideas or add your own, I want to see some more of your own)
The farmer became so rich that they retired, and invested all their money into the town, fixing up the streets and funding events, but yet, no matter what they do, it doesn’t attract that many people. Tourists still show up, but just as many as before the farmer arrived. No one can explain it, it was as
Hayley got into a course in photography and left for 2 years to complete her degree. However, upon finishing it, she decided that the best place for her was back in Stardew Valley, and moved back in to her old room, which Emily had converted into her personal sewing place. There were several arguments over that particular situation. It took many years and a lot of financial support from Emily – who was still working at the saloon – but she finally became a professional freelance photographer, mostly documenting the strange and wonderful world around Stardew Valley.
George and Evelyn eventually passed on, and the whole town came out for their funerals, even Sebastian drove all the way from Zuzu city to be there. Lewis put together a wonderful speech about them, as they had all lived in the community together their entire lives. Marnie was sobbing in the aisles, and had to be quietly escorted out by Shane and Jas. Alex inherited their house, but it didn’t feel right without his loving grandparents, so he mostly left it the way it was and stayed with Hayley most of the time. With plenty of spare time on his hands and nothing much in the way of financial burden, he began working on a plan with Penny, Robin and the Farmer.
With the Farmer supplying the money (they’re essentially a billionaire at this point), Robin built a small schoolhouse up near the community centre and playground. Penny and Alex began teaching there, with Penny taking English and Mathematics, while Alex gave them all the most intense P.E lessons ever conceived. One day, they rocked up to class to see that he had converted their room into an insane obstacle course, which they spent the day racing through over and over again. Sometimes, they would take a field trip to Darius’s lab, and he would show them whatever experiment he was working on. He once got into a shouting match with one of the children over whether a tomato was a fruit, but the situation was quickly de-escalated before Darius could through said experiment all over the poor child.
Alex never achieved his dreams of Gridball glory, but he found happiness. Also, he finally worked up the courage to move back into his grandparent’s house. It was sad to have to clean it out, but Hayley was very supportive, and they turned it into the house they always wanted. In time, the empty rooms were filled with the sound of children's laughter and screams of excitement. It was never perfect, and there was enough chaos to make their lives interesting, but it was their chaos and they were perfectly okay with that.
I am definitely gonna write more of these because I love these characters so much and I want to give them all excellent endings

when robin and nancy move to boston, they both pick up cigarettes. it's a bad habit, and with robin's addictive personality and nancy's need for stability, it's one they both stick with. "no smoking around gregor" is robin's one rule—they can give themselves lung cancer, but not their precious black cat.
steve is obviously against it. "don't go killing yourselves, assholes," he chastises every time he comes up or they go down, but they just laugh and robin blows a cloud of smoke at him.
they like to smoke on their apartment's balcony overlooking the city (more specifically their trash-riddled alley, but there's a bit of cityscape visible beyond it!) and drink whiskey or beer or whatever they decided on that day out of pink depression glass nancy found at the thrift store.
nancy will look at robin and the cigarette hanging from her lips, the smoke that ripples out into the sky, and she'll smile. if they're killing themselves, at least they're doing it together, in their home, in their city, in love.
