MTL to have a big family

Characters: Robb Stark, Viserys Targaryen III, Ramsay Bolton.

Robb

Robb comes from a big family, growing up with a strong bond between him and his siblings. Having a large yet united family is what made him the man he is today. 

Also, as a king it’s extremely beneficial to have multiple heirs, in order to secure the bloodline and the throne. 

But Robb would genuinely enjoy fatherhood, independently whether it’s a boy or a girl, he’d love them with equal love.

Teaching them about life and their duties, but also disciplining them regarding the values they must have, about the Stark’s honor and history of their house, about the good and the evil in this world.

He’d find happiness in sharing the knowledge and wisdom as his own father once did with him.  

I see Robb surrounded by a bunch of kids, with one of the youngest perched on his knee while his wife is round with another babe, all of them dining together and the room filled with laughter and love.

A heart-warming vision for Robb.  

Ramsay

Ramsay isn’t really the type of man that yearns to be a father, is he? 

He isn’t interested in irritating children running around the castle, crying and screaming. Ramsay despises all those annoying creatures, although he does want them with you.

A small family will do just fine, in his opinion.

Besides, pregnancy does prevent him from being his true self around you and as a result, he can’t throw you around or cut your skin and mark it with his name. A pity, indeed.

However, he does want a few sons, to prevent what happened with his father. He wants a strong claim to strengthen his title.  

After he gets what he wants, there will be no need for you carry more children and that’s when the real fun begins for him. 

Viserys 

Viserys, just like the rest, would obviously need a few children but his dislike for children is more intense. It icks him to interact with children, they are gross beasts with something drooling from their mouth.

So he only wants a few children, the necessary amount to keep the scarce Targaryen blood afloat.

But it’s a bit different when it comes to his children because they share the Dragon’s blood, a part of the Targaryen House, his heirs. Viserys would enjoy to recount to them the adventures of his life as he pursued for the Iron Throne, restoring it to its rightful owner.

He’d want to see his kids fawning over his achievements, that would definitely flatter his ego.

mtl to allow their darlings to have their own hobbies?

Characters that come to mind: Oberyn, Harwin, Sansa, Rhaegar, Alysanne, Jacaerys 

Oberyn allows his darlings to have their own hobbies, he also encourages them to start any new ones that would make them happy. Even hobbies like horse riding and sword fighting are ones  he allows his darling to pursue, though they obviously come with limitations.

With Harwin, you are free to pursue any hobbies that obviously don't endanger your life as he only wants your happiness and doesn't wish to control you. He could let you go horseback riding or hunting, but he has to be there with you at all times.

Sansa doesn’t wish to control you either. Sansa sees you as your own person and if doing what you must do makes you happy, then so be it. If you were interested in sewing or art, she'd be excited. Enjoying sitting near you while she watches you work on your new piece.

Rhaegar is much more lenient with you. He hates seeing you upset, so he’ll give in to your desire to pursue your own hobbies. He enjoys spending time with you, so whatever hobby you partake in, he’ll try to either watch or join. He will fall for you even more if your interests involve music or dancing.

Alysanne is a firm believer that what matters most is your happiness, and unlike some, she keeps her word. She doesn't want you to feel stranded or homesick. Any hobby you have is encouraged by Alysanne, and if it involves writing or art, she will want to see the finished product.

You have Jace wrapped around your finger, and wanting to please you; he allows you to partake in any of your hobbies. Though if it were anything that involves the slightest danger, he has to be there. If you ever give him anything you created, he’ll cherish it.

Surround (on Throne)

It's now 5/8 in China, so time to let this post celebrate the 2-year anniversary of the release of Huan Rao, Surround, by Zhang Zhehan on May 8, 2021.

The inspiration for this fig is two fold - first, one of Zhehan's promotional look for this release:

Second, we have the Iron Throne from the Game of Thrones TV series:

Full disclosure, I've never watched Game of Thrones - it's not my speed. Of course it was so popular that it was everywhere, and all of my coworkers watched it, so I picked up on some of here and there. The Iron Throne is very distinctive, so when I saw this fig, I was like, wait, is that...what I think it is? And why is Zhehan sitting on it?

The question of course, like many artistic interpretations, is probably less why and more why not? It's a cool looking throne, and Zhehan looks fantastic himself, so...

I was lucky to get this fig at all. Because of it's inspiration, the fig maker restricted sales to people that could show proof they had purchased Surround when it was released. Fair, and I 100% would have bought it at the time if I could have - I love the song, and I strongly believe artists should be paid for their work. As an American though, I didn't have any way to purchase this at the time. I didn't even have my Superbuy account at the time, or even realize such a purchasing service existed (or that I might need it).

I messaged the fig seller and explained the situation, and she was exceptionally kind enough to allow me an exception. The fig makers in general have been incredibly kind and generous to me (and very graciously overlooking my slow and laborious poorly MTL Chinese), which makes getting their figures even that much more special. Which reminds me, now that I have this figure at home I need to message her with another thanks!

He arrived looking casually perfect alongside his throne, well packed and with no damage!

Here's the throne in all it's glory. It's VERY ornate, and surprisingly not that heavy for such a solid-looking item.

Look at this thing! this is the underside - it's incredibly detailed. I did not expect this when I turned it over.

You can see it has an indent for the fig to sit it in it. As minimal as these indents look, they make all the difference for the hard surface of the figs to sit properly of the hard surface of the chairs.

We'll get a few pics of the fig before putting him in the throne. You can see from this angle in particular all the detail on his bangs - the picture has his hair really soft and piecey around his face, which is pretty difficult to render in hard resin. I think the fig maker did a really phenomenal job designing this.

Bottoms up here - please also note the detailed heels on the shoes. I always love this little detail, even if it makes the figs stand a little less securely. Luckily with this guy, he's of course sitting down.

This is a great angle to see the planets with the orbits in his eyes. This of course matches the whole surround iconography:

This is also a good angle to see his ear mole! I love when fig makers put these in for Zhehan and Junjun.

Alright, moving on to the whole look! It IS cool. Once again, I bow to the fig maker's creativity and vision!

Zhehan balances beautifully on the throne. I don't even have him puttied down here or anything. He is just casually sitting there being beautiful.

You can really see from this angle the amazing fig engineering that perches him right on the edge. This makes room for his gigantic cute head, while still giving him his beautiful posture and room for his legs to cross.

You can see more of the wispiness of his hair, which incidentally is mirrored in the spiky nature of the throne.

This pic is mostly of the throne of course, but here you can see how well he sits in it and how the sizing is perfect. Not too big, not too small.

I really love that one piece of hair at the top of his head!

We get lots of good angles of the hair swirl on top of his head from his side! Please do note again the really fine fig engineering here with his one-leg pose.

I'm really growing to love this particular 3/4 right side angle. We get a lot of the fig expression, the outfit, and the hair. Here too we get more of the dramatic throne.

This is the top down angle from the back, looking forward. Not a whole lot to see here other than the hair swoop, and of course the back of the throne.

Here's one more top-ish angle - I was hoping you could see how he sits in the throne a little better, but unfortunately it's all a mass of shadow.

The fig just came in a plain white box, but he has the box card with the inspiration picture. You can really see how faithfully the fig maker replicated this exact picture, down to the swirl of hair on top. The written text is the same as the promo pictures:

MTL OC Week Day 2: Best Friends

(so between art block and work and vacation prep, I didn't have time to draw something for every prompt unfortunately, so this one's a headcanon ☺️)

Miranda's best friend in Dethklok is totally Skwisgaar! They both have a penchant for being a little over dramatic and they often practice together. Miranda attempted to help him find a dragon for his video shoot by calling the Game of Thrones producers to ask where they got theirs 😂 (they just left her on hold forever lol)

It was ultimately his say that got her into Dethklok in the first place and I think she has a deep appreciation for that.

Once she starts dating Toki, she often ends up being the middle man in their arguments, but she'd rather jump out the windows in Mordhaus than pick a side. So if they're ever fighting, you'll notice she's just strangely absent, lol

Just updated my jonsa story, ‘Twin Stars’! Reading GoT fics lately has reminded me how much I love writing jonsa fics, and I was excited to update Twin Stars. 🙌🎉

I also shared some news that I’ve been trying to wrap my mind around - my original work is now in print! I was thrilled to be accepted into four anthologies, two of which have now been published in print + e-book format.

The first is 'Springtime Kisses,' my story for the erotica anthology, Royal Protection, by Zimbell House/Temptations Press, and the second 'Languid Yellow' is apart of a horror anthology, 101 Proof Horror by Haunted MTL. Both are available on Amazon, and will soon be included in the company’s online stores. 

Seeing my work in print has been a dream of mine ever since I can remember - I'm twenty-one now, and have wanted this more than anything in my life. I couldn't have done it without all of you and your support - your comments, kudos, bookmarks, etc. pushed me to start entering anthologies and other writing contests, and I'm so, so thrilled. 🥳

Rhaenyra makes you accompany her everywhere she goes, as she dislikes the idea of you being confined to your chambers. You are seated next to her during meetings. Some give you strange looks, but no one dares speak. It's almost as if you've become a shadow of her. 

Saera also despises the idea of keeping you confined to your chambers. She trusts you enough to let you hear her conversations with others all while you stand in a distance. She does occasionally ask for your opinion on a matter, but that doesn't mean she always listens to them. 

Baelon enjoys having you around wherever he goes. You accompany him on Vhagar whenever he takes his daily flights. He also takes you along on hunting trips. Baelon is advised otherwise, but the prince is known for his stubbornness. He might not have you in the meetings, but he will let you know what was discussed. 

You are compelled to either stay in your chambers or be with Aegon II at all times, especially later in his life. His mother gave up trying to dissuade him from bringing you to the council meetings. He even has you perform tasks normally given to his handmaidens; having you dress him or scrub his body as he bathes. 

Even when you tell her otherwise, Daenerys enjoys listening to your opinions on matters. Like Missandei, you are always on her side. Whether she is speaking in her council or addressing distinguished lords and ladies. When she has a rare moment of free time, she has you in her chambers so you can help each other get ready for bed or do each other's hair.

Almost always, Aemond brings you with him when he must depart with Vhagar. He spends a lot of his free time in the library, where you are seated near him. Also frequently bringing you along to watch him train. He may even have you undergo training if you appear to be getting bored, but only he can train with you. Aemond will ask you for insights as he enjoys hearing what's going through your mind.

I met Pom Jason Momoa, Pom Klementieff and Jennifer Morrison last weekend at Montreal Comic-Con.

The only thing I can remember about Jason Momoa is that he smelled so good. I’m serious, I don’t know what perfume he uses but I want it. He’s so tall, like giant tall and so handsome. (if you think I’m fanboying, my brother fanboying 10 times more.)

Pom is so cute (she speak french so that help). @kvover I made her autographed your fanart (I know I didn’t get your approval, but don’t worry I didn’t take any credit for it.) She’s so funny, she didn’t remember that Spider-Man had arms coming out of his suit. And when she did remembered she said that it look like lobster claws. She really like my t-shirt and she said and I quote: “I have to get one”.

Jennifer is really beautiful. She have impressive cheekbones. She is so charming (no bun intended). I assisted at a Q&A and I can see that she is really passionate about her work.
