It baffles me how people think that RE4R hair is his natural colour. I have lots of knowledge and experience with coloring hair, and there’s no way that’s his natural hair color. Its no one’s natural hair color, at least not when they’re adults. Its got too much of an ash undertone. I think RE2R is the color that naturally grows out of his head, or at least at that moment in time it did, cause light hair gets darker with time, and usually turns brown at some point.

Also, Leon must have had it toned and touched up immediately before the events of the game.

Not familiar with the OG games so I can’t comment on his color there LOL.

And RE2make Leon's hair is...

BROWN.

A/N: this is my first time writing anything like this so plz be nice I’m sensitive =D

He would definitely learn how to braid/put hair in a ponytail just so he can do it for you when you need your hair up and out of your face.

I feel like he wouldn’t use emojis because he can never figure out how to open the emoji board on the key board, no matter how many times you show him how, so he just uses ones like ‘:)’ and ‘:D’.

I also think he would send very dry texts, but never on purpose. He’s just not as used to texting as you. He reply with a simple ‘Okay, honey.’ With correct grammar and punctuation or something

Leon would always want to tie your shoes. Like if you plan on going someplace and you start putting on your shoes, he’d immediately stop you and put them on for you.

I think he would really enjoy getting his makeup done, but he’d play it off as if he hated it, when in reality he loved it. He would especially love it when you’d do his eyeliner, and you sit on his lap to get the best angle.

He definitely love taking you to theme cafes, even if he has no idea what it’s themed around. Like a Sanrio cafe, or something really cute like that.

And he would LOVE taking pictures of you wearing cute outfits.

Rip It Up: The Black Experience in Rock N Roll by Kandia Crazy Horse

A great anthology of articles and interviews with black rock artists and fans dating back to the 70s. One of the articles featured is White Noise Supremacists by Lester Bangs (originally published 1979) which is a really interesting look into early punk culture's flippant attitude around appropriating white supremacist symbols and being racist/homophobic/antisemitic "ironically." cw there's tons of slurs in this article

A very recent book! Each section looks into various influential women in Rock, including Big Mama Thornton (the original and far superior singer of Hound Dog,) Tina Turner, Betty Davis, and the Shirelles to name a few.

Be My Baby by Ronnie Spector

The late great Ronnie Spector's autobiography. The black girl groups of the 60s were a massive part of the genesis of "classic" rock as we know it, and the Ronettes in particular were INCREDIBLY formative artists. The Rolling Stones opened for THEM. Another cw: Ronnie was in an abusive relationship with their producer Phil Spector for much of their career, and this is discussed at length in the book so read with care.
