i just think that jean neil is such an interesting dynamic because it’s like if neil had stayed & ended up in the nest, would there have been any romance between them?

codependency yes, some form of love, yes. but would it have ever been romantic?

i also love it because we know that neil’s trust issues predominantly come from having to run everywhere - thus if he was in the nest, would he have been more trusting with jean?

my favourite thing (sarcasm) is when people think feyre and rhys cutting off nesta from her unhealthy coping mechanisms is a bad thing. cuz like yeah the sign of an awesome relative is letting you fall into your addictions and not offering support with them

was it harsh? yes. but it was necessary. and i also love it when people say they just locked her away like no? cassian was sent with her to help her find strategies to help (which is where the training thing came from).

and they didn’t lock her up there. she was free to leave whenever she wanted, she just refused to accept any help from cassian (hence the stairs). in fact, you could argue that feyre and rhys sending her up there with cas was an exposure thing into teaching her how to ask for help (in a harsh way but still).

like. she literally says it here. nesta was always free to go anywhere but feyre wasn’t going to accept nesta using her money for her unhealthy coping mechanisms

to argue that feyre and rhys were doing all this just to be nasty is stupid

Nihil: Sometimes, I’ll put a movie on for the kids in French. Then, when they look at me all confused and ask why they can’t understand it, I tell them “Hmm, I don’t know why.
