But I also love HEP vs Resistance, especially the part where he combined lots of little callbacks to the other turf war songs

Currently listening to Gideon, and yesss! I especially love the first line in the chorus to Hollow Throne, (I'm sitting on a hoooooolllloooowwwww throneeeeeee) find myself singing/humming it so much.

HEP vs. Resistance is amazing too, I think the grass vs. mycelium war was hilarious (especially the ending) and I love how dramatic Gideon made it when in reality it's Grian doing what Grian does best. (chaos and prank wars)

Another one I forgot to mention, Man in the Clouds, I love that one. I think it's a really funny song, and nice to sing. Truly captures Grian and Scar's Double Life relationship.

All of the life series songs, I love, as well as Decked Out 2. Gideon overall is great, I think that's the consensus from this ramble!

So, here’s a fic idea I’ve had stuck in my head ever since the RenKing lore dropped: Ren becomes so stressed out that he goes to Grian and begs him to become hippies with him again. Just for a bit. To wind down and have some fun. Revisit the good old times.

It’s just that Bdubs is great as an advisor, yeah? But he’s also loud and get’s a bit pushy when excited. And there is so much to do and supervise and oh yeah! A resistance is forming, too. Despite his best efforts to make Hermitcraft a better place for everyone. Ren just needs some space to think. And he remembers the calm times he spend with Grian and Impulse. And how easy everything seemed back then.

Grian would be up for shenanigans. He’s always up for shenanigans! And technically Grian wasn’t outright against him. So!

Grian is a bit bewildered, but readily agrees to spend some downtime together. One silly idea leads to another and soon they declare themselves secret hippies. Only Bdubs becomes suspicious about Ren leaving all the time. Ren likes Bdubs, he doesn’t want to upset or disappoint him. So he lies about where he’s going, making up tasks and excuses, but knowing his flimsy net of lies won’t hold for long.

After some pondering Ren, instead of talking it out, comes up with the perfect plan. Grian can just kidnap him! No one will question his absence then!

It would be so hilarious. Everyone painting Grian as some sort of evil chaos entity, while in reality he’s busy plaiting flowers into Rens hair and singing campfire songs. Grian also sort of gets to resist against the governement, but not at all in a way that he or anyone else had imagined.

Grian does not want to start a resistance because he doesn't like being predictable. But what's interesting is that he never considered joining the King to throw us off not even a hint of going down the supporter road. His preferences or standards are more potent than his dislike for being predictable. Ergo given enough time his course of actions will result in a resistance even unwillingly. The same actions produce the same result.

Hello Nix, I hope your doing well. There’s a person named Gideon on YouTube who does Hermitcraft (and sometimes other series) songs. Some are similar to elybeatmaker but instead of just doing remixes he will also sing in them. I don’t see them being talked about nearly as much, if even at all, as elybeatmaker and thought I would share here because they are really good. He recently did a song about double life called “Man in the clouds.” -🌖anon

I've seen some of the music Gideon makes!

There are some real gems and I do hope he continues to create music. I do wish he was talked about more because there is so much potential there for hermit collabs and all sorts. I really enjoy his songs
