A/N: First off the song is Zen by Jacob Lee and second I left this kind of open ended because I love him and Rin together but I also love him in general so read this how you like 😘
I hope that sacrifice is worth it

Always knew that I’d find my purpose, living as a servant
Taking on the roles they can’t let go
You’d give anything to Haru if he asked for it, you knew that he gave everything for everyone else, that was why you spent every morning you made an extra lunch and brought it with you everyday and why you would spend every lunch looking for him to hand it over with a big smile however today he decided to ask about it.
“Why do you always bring me lunch?” He asked one day as you swapped something with Momiji.
“Because you never bring lunch for yourself, you're too busy worrying about everyone else.” You answered honestly. “Do you want me to stop?”
“No that’s not what I was saying but surely this causes you trouble.” He frowned.
“Not really but even if it did, the sacrifice would be worth it.” You answered with a smile as Momiji watched you both, he didn’t say anything.
“Thank you.” He finally said as you graved with the rare sight of a real smile from Haru and it was from then that you promised that you would look after him while he looks after everyone else.

It was a couple of weeks later when you were walking past Haru class that you heard a crash. You glanced in to see that Haru was the one that caused it, he had explained before what happened when he got angry, you reached your hand out towards him “Haru!” You called, he glanced over his shoulder, his eyes softening once he saw you.
“What?” He asked.
“You wanna punch something? I got something you can punch.” You said wiggling your fingers, he grit his teeth for a moment before walking over to you and taking your hand you lead him to the exit of the school and to the boxing ring that your father owned.
Momiji led Yuki, Tohru and Kyo to the classroom that he had left Haru in, they all frowned at the lack commotion, when they all walked in there was no damage and no Haru “we don’t have time for this you stupid rabbit are you lost again!?” Kyo asked, smacking him in the head.
“No I’m not lost, this is where he was!” Momiji answered, hand coming up to his head as he flinched away from another hit.
“Excuse me, have you seen Haru?” Yuki turned to one of the girls that had been chatting with her friend.
“Oh he was here a while ago, he looked really angry about something and (Y/N) came in said there was somewhere that they could go where he could punch something and he left with her.” The girl explained.
“(Y/N)? Who’s that?” Kyo asked.
“Oh… Um we meant to tell you about her… Well on our first day here, Haru forgot his lunch, so she gave him hers that day, claimed that she already ate, turned out she didn’t really have many friends so she ended up with us a lot of the time.” Momiji explained.
“There’s something else.” Yuki said.
“Well, she’s like our Tohru, she grabbed me one day when I was about to fall and she found out, we never told anyone Haru didn’t want Akito to know.” Momiji explained.
“So do you know where they are?” Kyo asked.
“I think so, she mentioned somewhere her dad runs.” Momiji answered.
You stood behind the punching bag and smiled as you leaned your weight against it “punch it like you mean it.” You encouraged him.
“Are you sure you can handle it sweetheart?” He asked with a smirk.
“Pretty sure I can Dark.” You winked before tapping the bag again “hit it.” Haru drew his hand back and hit the bag as hard as he could. “You got power, don't know how to put it into your fist though.”
“What’d you say?” He asked leaning forward so his face was inches from yours, a wide smirk on his lips, you still had a teasing one on yours.
“I said that you don’t punch right.” You informed him coming around the punching bag showing him how to curl finger and twist his fists as he landed the punch. Haru knew how to fight, you both knew that, you were just teasing him but the way that it seemed to distract him led you to teaching him things you were sure he already knew.
“Alright… Why would you be out here with me? Why are you missing class to help me?” Haru asked between punches as you held the bag for him.
“My grandmother always joked that the females or my family were givers, they found someone who needed them and gave them everything that they could, my grandmother found my grandfather a veteran who needed a home, my mother found my father a delinquent who needed someone to believe in him and me… I found the ox spirit who just needed someone to listen.” You explained, you hadn’t even noticed that he stopped punching. “I know a look of heartbreak when I see one, which is why I’m not going to ask you to return the feelings, I’ll be here friend or more, I promise.” Haru wished that he could hug you but instead he pressed his forehead to yours.
“T-thank you.” He said softly, his hand pressing to the back of your head to keep you in place as tears streamed down his face.
Tohru was straight crying as she watched the both of you, Yuki smiled softly and Kyo rolled his eyes. Momiji watched you both without a single word, just happy that both his friends were okay “you ready to go back?” You asked, they were all shocked out of their states as Kyo grabbed Tohru and they all ran out of the boxing ring and back to school before either one of you saw them.

The loud sound of thunder made Y/n jump as she looked out the window, seeing lightning flash across the sky. She shivered a bit, gripping the book that she had in her hands a bit tighter. Y/n was left alone at her home, her parents were currently on a business trip and they trusted everything to her, which she didn't mind. She was old enough to do things on her own.
Getting up from her spot on the couch, she walked over to the window. She pulled back the curtains and peered out the window watch the rain pour from the sky. Y/n sighed a bit.
"It sure is coming down out there..." She muttered to herself, still looking out the window peering up at the dark clouds the curtained the sky.
Y/n hoped that it didn't get too bad to the point where her house would lose power. She grumbled knowing that she couldn't fix those sort of things without her father's help. He's handy like that.
There was a knock at her front door that startled Y/n out of her thoughts and she whipped her head towards the door. She was expecting anyone, especially not at this hour, in this whether.
Cocking an eyebrow, she asked herself. "Who the hell could that be?" Putting her book off to the side on the table, moving away from window in the living room and walked over towards the door.
Opening it, Y/n answered the door with her eyes closed with a "yes" before opening them to see who has come to her house. Her eyes widened seeing her classmate and a close friend, Hatsuharu Soma.
She and Haru have been friends since they were young which was odd considering the fact that she and her family were outsiders, but Y/n's mother used to work as maid at the Soma Estate before she got a new job and Haru and Y/n met then and their friendship carried over, though Haru would always sneak away from the Estate to see her until now since they go to the same high school.
Dripping wet from the rain, Haru looked up at her through his hair that hung in his face. His brown eyes stared into her E/c ones. She couldn't read what emotion he was showing, it was always hard for Y/n though they've known each other for a long time but she still can never truly know.
"Haru..." She finally spoke and the male perked up to his name. "What are you doing here?" Y/n asked him. It was seriously out of the blue and in this whether no less.
"I just... I just needed to see you." He said in a low tone.
Y/n frowned at this but then raised an eyebrow at the strange boy. "You needed to see me?" She asked him, confused at his action.
"Yeah." Haru replied back, very monotone but that's how he's always been.
"But, you see me every day at school, moron." Y/n said.
"It's not enough." Haru said back.
Y/n sighed out in frustration, pinching the bridge of her nose. "Alright then. Get in here before you drown out there. I'll get you a towel." She said, letting a rain soaked Haru in.
"Thanks, Y/n." He said with a small smile.
"Whatever," Y/n said. "Sit on the floor please I don't want my parents' furniture getting wet." Y/n left to the bathroom to fetch a clean towel for Haru.
*small time skip*
Haru sat on the floor, his back resting on the couch as Y/n dried his hair with a white hand towel. Y/n had a soft glare on her face as looked at the white haired boy. She cared for Haru but he's honestly was kinda hopeless as well as he is careless.
"You're tense," Haru's low voice and him grabbing her arm, snapped Y/n out of her thoughts as she lost her glare and it was replaced with a surprised look in her eyes. "Is something wrong?" He asked her looking up at her with worried look in his eyes.
"No. I'm not tense at all." Y/n said, her hands leaving the towel on Haru's head.
"You're lying." Haru said.
"How do you know that I'm lying?" Y/n asked the boy.
Haru frowned. "We've known each other for years now, Y/n and I know when you're lying. I thought we could tell each other anything." Haru said.
She flushed from embarrassment. He's right, she really can't lie to Haru, Haru might be a bit blunt and dense at times but that doesn't mean he's not observant. Y/n looked off to the side. She went into her thoughts as the two sat in collective silence until Haru spoke.
"Y/n," He called her name, making her turn her head to look at him. His saddened expression made Y/n's eyes widened a bit. "Do you not want to be around me anymore?" He asked.
Y/n turned to face him fully and shook her head frantically. "No, No, that's not it all, Haru! It's just... my family and I are so very different from you and yours. I mean we are from the outside, we're outsiders. In all honesty, I wonder why you're still friends with me." Y/n confessed.
Y/n felt arms wrapped around her small frame for a split second until a puff of colored smoke appeared around her and a black and white cow was in Haru's place with its head on her lap. She was shocked and honestly horrified. What just happened?!
"Why are you worried about what my family or anyone else thinks?" Haru's voice came from the cow.
'What, the cow is Haru?! What is going on? What is he not telling me?' Y/n thought.
"I-I don't know... I just didn't know if you're friends for real or this is all fake." Y/n replied.
"It's not true at all. I'm friends you because I want to be and I want to be more than just friends, Y/n." Haru said.
"Uh?" She asked not sure what he was getting at.
Cow Haru looked up at her. "I've fallen for you, Y/n. And I can't keep it a secret anymore."

"is everything ok, momiji?" you asked the boy who ran up the stairs.
he hunched over, catching his breath "yes, everything's fine!" the boy spoke with a thick german accent, you pinched the cute boys' cheeks and went back to talking with tohru, yuki and kyo.
"yeah, uyu-chan wants us to go shopping later." tohru informed the bunch as momiji took a seat on the table behind them.
"oh could I join? I'd love to help you two shopping!"
"of course momiji!"
"momiji, why are you here right now? don't you have class or something?" kyo asked irritated as tohru pat the boys head.
"oh yeah," something in the boys' head clicked and you assumed it's the reason why he was here "haru became dark haru."
"what happened anyways, why's he in dark mode?"
"what happened anyways, why's he in dark mode?"
"what happened anyways, why's he in dark mode?"
"someone got into an argument with him and said the wrong word to him and so he turned dark, beat the boy and is.." sounds of glass was heard as you approached the door of his classroom, finding many of his classmates staring into the messy room.
"everyone could you please leave!" yuki, kyo and yourself let tohru and momiji send everyone away as you entered the classroom and closed the door behind you.
"haru, calm down you fucking idiot!" kyo said and you and yuki deadpanned at him.
"what'd you say you fucking kitten? you want have a piece of me?" haru got all up in kyos face before taking a glance at you.
"hey hottie, wanna fuck?" the boys blushed at his bluntness whilst also deadpanning.
"you two can leave, I'll deal with haru."
once the boys left you and haru and the door clicked behind them, you pinned haru to the wall, pulled him by his collar and kissed him, tongues roughly interacting. harus hands travelled from your face to your butt as he groped it and he tried bringing you closer towards him but you broke off the connection between his lips and slapped him.
"you done being dark?" he held onto his red cheek as his face returned to its normal relaxed expression.
"yeah," he sighed looking at the classroom "can we continue what we were doing?" he asked and you shook your head in amusement.
you pinched his cheeks before planting a kiss on his sore cheek "you're getting sent home right now, we could then."
"can't wait, see you later babe." he opened the door to find the teacher waiting for him and sighed.
"follow me, mister."
he sent you a lazy salute along with a wink and you blew him a kiss back.

Part Two of Akagawara Modomu’s one-shot
Tohru can be seen serving tea to the proclaimed dog and both Haru and Momiji chilling with him right after.
Shigure: Hey you, such long nose and long legs you have over there. Don't you think it would be too tiring for you to keep up this act?
You're aware that I'm the one who was originally supposed to receive such a benefit (good treatment), isn't that right?
Oh..? Then why am I always treated so badly? I do not comprehend
The dog ;in the background; glaring at Shigure.
Shigure: Aha? Are you trying to go against me? That's impossible
The Zodiac animal is naturally attracted to us. It's one of the side effects of the Zodiac Curse.
Suddenly, the dog kicks Shigure.
Shigure: So quiiiiiiick
(Side note: Okay so this is a word's play, the word is "Borzoi" and it's a breed of a russian Dog. Borzoi in russian also means "fast" so Shigure stated that the dog is very fast and agile while at the same time indicating his breed)
[The text underneath the star symbol says: The power to break the curse]
Later that day
Shigure: Seriously everyone hasn't noticed anything at all, this is so sad
At this rate, I wonder if I'm up in the clouds already. Since I'm already gone to them, I'm better off packing up.
(Shigure can be seen going away while muttering: "Yes, this is fine by me. It's about time to leave.")
Tohru: Aaaah everyone, this is so bad.
Shigure-san...Shigure san...brought his family over.
She comments that there are also babies.
Yuki and Kyo: Ehhh...Which means.. Shigure..You..have been seeing a female dog..
Shigure in the background yelling: Yessss yessss! This is shocking! This was so shocking even I was surprised, I'm sorryyyy
