I could’ve wrote you off, friend
Placed my anger on a shelf
Thinking about it on my way home, I felt sorry for myself
I didn’t have a reason, wish I did, it was my right
Turning down that dark, old road driving back towards polluted light
So, Danny ends up turning into Little Baby Man(TM). Except it turns out that becoming this incredibly small and feral version of his ghost form is actually because of what amounts to Ghost Rabies.
Dani/Ellie ends up finding Little Baby Danny and brings him to the rest of Team Phantom. Only, once she's done explaining how she found him, he bites her, and she turns into Little Baby Ellie.
As Team Phantom is freaking out, another ghost attacks, only for the two feral Phantoms to immediately bite them, causing them to also turn into a Little Baby Man/Woman version of themselves.
The Team believes for a bit that it just affects Ghosts and do their best to keep the steadily growing number of Little Baby Men from going out of control while they try to figure out a cure. Only Sam and Tucker get bitten. Cue the two turning into Little Baby Men (Tucker looks like a Pharaoh and Sam looks like when Overgrowth controlled her). It turns out that Ghost Rabies can also affect people who are Ecto-contaminated.
Cue Jazz having to avoid an army of feral ghosts in order to get a message to Frostbite so he and the rest of the Far Frozen can work on a cure. She manages to get a message out before eventually falling victim to the disease as well.
Do they eventually make a cure? Yes, but not without a lot of chaos in both the Zone and Amity Park as the Little Baby Man Army grows everyday.
TL:DR: Little Baby Man is born from Ghost Rabies. Ghosts and Ecto-contaminated people turn into a feral army.

Do you know that feeling that whenever you look over a ledge, you have this... urge to lean in further?
You could easily topple over to the abyss with just one nudge.
Many have claimed that the exterior architecture of Diasomnia can be quite... nauseating. Its geography consists of steep landmasses that seem to float over a foggy abyss. These literally breathtaking characteristics are highlighted with the dorm's entrance: a bridge with a concerning lack of guard rails. Quite a nightmare for acrophobic students, especially to those who unfortunately have to reside in this building.
Unsurprisingly, there have been instances where one or two students have strayed from seemingly safe paths into the infinite depths below. Witnesses claimed to seeing a Diasomnia student being the one to push them to their doom. However, such testimonies were remarked to be hearsay by the Headmage, therefore not being taken seriously.
One witness claims they were a close victim of this student.
They say that they had a heated debate with their friend regarding on whether the foggy pit below Diasomnia was bottomless or not. The witness was on the side arguing that it wasn't bottomless at all, however their friend was headstrong with their opinion. Thus, the only way to settle this was to actually observe the abyss itself.
The answer was clear even without close examination: there was definitely a visible bottom in the pit. Despite everything, the other remained stubborn and refused to acknowledge the obvious truth.
Then, an uninvited guest came over— A Diasomnia student with a green scarf. He claims to be there to settle a score for the bickering pair.
"You should take a closer look."
With one nudge, the two were pushed over the ledge.
One held for dear life, while the other accepted defeat.
Turns out, the foggy pit below Diasomnia wasn't bottomless at all.

something particularly heart wrenching about how red team was the closest, a family forged in blood and hardships and survival, a team who promised to stay together even after purgatory was over - and it was a majority of red team who missed the ship. something about how they wanted to stay in purgatory because at least in this hell they weren’t alone and had each other. those who didn’t make it were behind because they couldn’t leave their children with the threat alone, couldn’t leave each other behind if they could help. the team that couldn’t survive purgatory without each other is the only one that couldn’t escape together.
At the very top of that cloud, the last member of the Brass Ring gets to keep his promise to his family.

despite what you may think, gawyn is only like my 5th or 6th favorite WOT character. however, taking a near-universally-hated character under one's wing creates a special kind of bond between the blorbo and the blorbo-haver. the specific type of affection i have for that boy cannot be replicated with any of my other favs. i love elayne, rand, et al more than i love gawyn, but they don't need me like gawyn does. he is like an injured bird i'm nursing back to health and sheltering from all who would do him harm (which is so many people. like SO many.)

now i love the covered in blood and dirt burn down the world for you kinda vibe as much as the next person. but there’s something about those characters that you have only seen disliking violence or a specific type of aggression or a specific weapon, but then a person they care about is in danger and suddenly they kick ass or never miss a single shot and both the other characters and the audience have that moment of realization together. they didn’t shy away from the dark because they were scared of it or because they couldn’t manage it but because they are intimately aware of the devastation that they can cause and instead, for whatever reason, make the choice to be merciful
