Joy.

Good evening (from my perspective) one and all. I hope you are all doing bloody well. Old Lukey boy has had a pretty good week all things considering.

It has been a busy week but that is what i need and as stated i wanted to write a blog post about all the good stuff in my life at the moment. It is important for me to be open and honest with you all about the stuff that i am going through out there has been a serious imbalance with what i have been open about very much in the flavor of all the bad shit and the stuff that has been bringing me down so it is well beyond the time that i should tell you about ll the stuff that is really keeping me going and smiling.

Friends.

To all my gorgeous, wonderful, kindhearted and fabulous friends out there that have reached out to me. I adore you. One of the toughest things about this separation has been that i have been completely uprooted from my life and from the people that have been closest to me for the last decade or so. The lesson that i have learned in this time is that i have been a fool to consider time and distance to be a defining feature of people that matter to me. I have people all over the slowly shrinking UK and seemingly the rest of the world that have taken the time to message me. You might not no this but something as small as a text or a facebook message have meant more to me than you could possibly imagine.

It's been such a comfort to me in this awful time but knowing you guys are there has been amazing and it's given me the opportunity to connect with people that I think I might have neglected over the years. This isn't through any lack of care or feeling or anything but purely through life getting in the way. Upon reflection being by all means unemployed for the moment has really been great for me to have the time to talk to folks that i haven't had the opportunity to connect with properly for a while. Already when i land back in the UK this Tuesday I'm looking forwards so much to going to Norfolk to see some of the best people a man could ask to know. All of my friends have been so amazing and it feels like I'm caught in some sort of wonderful pocket dimension where time has stood still on all these different formative periods of my life. From secondary school to the drama group i was apart of to the university days and London and beyond. I want you to know that although time and space got in the way i never let you stray too far from my thoughts and i cant thank you enough for not letting me stray too far from yours.

With summer looming over us like the big hay fever, eye rubbing, asthmatic bastard that it is i will be making my upmost effort to be seeing as much of you as possible. So dust off your sofas and spare rooms because the midlands ginger Hagrid is coming for you.

Family.

A very humble and gracious moment of thanks to all of my family near and far. I would like to think that this separation has been as much of a surprise/shock as it was to me but you have all been so fantastic in your support. To all my parents step or other wise, I know you thought you got rid of me but I'm back baby. ike a 6ft boomerang im back in your lives and i thank you so much for being supportive and understanding but giving me the room to cope with the massive task of working out what has to come next. It was a life event that im sure you werent expecting but you have been a great comfort in such a turbulant time in my life. Being able to return home and still have my own space is a luxury that not many people might have so i am incredibly grateful to you for allowing me to be safe and secure. If i get the chance and oppertunity in the future i will make sure you all end up in really wonderful old people's homes. Running water and Werther's origionals. Not the generic stuff from lidl's.

To my big brother and my wonderful sister in law.

It was in no way your responsibility to take me into your home in a time of great crisis in my life. The world has dealt enough blows but for you to welcome me into your lives form this last month has been a time of great change for me. Having someone invade your life (family or no) can't be easy and i know from personal experience that i am an less than ideal house guest but i really can't state with enough humility how much this has helped me to heal. I have never once felt like i was in the way (i am sure i was but you have never made me feel this way). You have included me in every aspect of your lives and i hope that one day i get the opportunity to thank you properly. You opened your door to me when i needed it most with no question and no demanding of details. You gave me time to be hurt. You gave me time to be happy and join you in happiness and you gave me time to talk to you about how i am hurting without judgment or impatience. On top of this the time i have been able to spend with my kick ass funny nephew has been something that has been severely lacking in my life.

To my little brother and phenomenal sister in law B&B.

When i rang around everyone to let them know what had happened you jumped into action like the dammed justice league, I think you were in the van with a full tank before the phone call had ended ready to rescue me from my misery and solitude. You had a home open to me and jobs waiting to keep me afloat and a baby nephew that you couldn't wait to have spend more time with his uncle Luke. Your care and love has done more to mend my heart more than anyone could ever break it. I am a better man for knowing the three of you and i strive t o keep being the best version of myself that you all deserve. And if you are reading this Pav (or anyone who knows him) i want you to know that i count you in the family. Who else than family could have such a stunning precision for calling at the exact moment that we sat down for dinner all those years ago just to tell us what you had been up to. Not to mention that you dropped everything to help the big brother of your friend. It might not seem like much but you are a very special young man and i am very lucky to know you.

To my little sister R.

I initially saw your excitement at my leaving London as a double edged sword what with everything falling apart but you have been a huge part of my ability to heal. I took the excitement of my coming back to the midlands badly much to my shame. The joy you felt was now the very same joy that i feel with only a couple of days left in Ireland. I feel the same joy that i can now be such a more present part of my beautiful nieces and nephews life. The days following the separation where i could hang out with the kids and show them star wars for the first time have quickly become a part of my life that i will treasure as long as i live. This period of my life where i have been able to share something so important to me with the people i love have helped to show me what is really important. I have given up the rat race for the moment. Living my life to go to an unforgiving job and replaced it with the excitement of my nieces and nephews running into my living room excited to hang out and find out what happens next in one of my favorite stories. It is especially special to me when that story is completely about family. A story where family is the driving force for being better. A story where no matter how bad things might be, family good or bad will be the thing that makes everything better. Where together even an insurmountable oppressive force can be overpowered by just letting yourself help and be helped by those closest to you.

And for my little sister J.

You are growing up in a time that few have had to grow up in. The pandemic has made it as hard and as unforgiving a time to start university as possible but you have shown yourself to be driven, brave and unrelenting in the face of a very trying first couple of years at uni. I am proud to be your big brother and i cant wait for you to come back from uni and you can show me what young people get up to. I will be insisting on at least one night out with you because i realized that any opportunity that i can take to be the embarrassing big brother is something that i wont pass up for a long time. One of my favorite photos of us is at my wedding with me throwing you around the dance floor. I know the teenage embarrassment was strong that night but the photo really shows what it means and i promise to keep embarresing you for as long as i can. Make sure you bring your dancing shoes to L&D's wedding.

To L&D. I cannot wait for the wedding and i will be on top form. Seeing all you guys again is so exciting and a good motivator to make sure i can fit into my good suit and extending the invitation through the day was so generous. I will repay it with dances and good times for sure.

i should sign off now as we are creeping into the very wee hours but aren't you all proud of how focused that was.

You left the doctors in deep silence.

None of you were capable to speak much, but there definitely was a lot to talk about, to discuss and probably re-think. Your mind was in an internal turmoil, and it seemed to be a vicious circle. What you just learned was something you would have never ever imagined before. That type of news was… news-worthy. Like television news worthy. From the excitement of the doctor, it easily could become reality.

You vividly imagined yourself talking to the reporter, the microphone of the broadcast station in your face as you tried to explain just how crazy your situation was. A poor countryside family (that didn't even tie the knot yet) expecting three…

Ridding your head of various scenarios, you entered the bus. Thankfully, there weren't many people as you entered the stuffy vehicle. Baekhyun quickly grabbed a single seat for you, wanting to stand right next to your side. Funnily, the one who constantly spoke and had an argument ready was now silent, deep in thought just like you. Glancing up at your boyfriend, he was holding the loop above his head, his gaze set on the road outside, but eyes unfocused. Who knew what was going on in his mind. Was it the same mess just like in yours?

Gnawing at your bottom lip and bunching up your skirt in your hands, you waited for him to look at you, to reciprocate the look. And after several seconds, he snapped out of his reverie and looked down at you, seeing your eyes bulging in scare. He smiled at you softly and widened his eyes at you as he pressed his lips tightly together, giving you a cute face.

You managed to lift one corner of your lips up and you dropped your gaze, reaching for his free hand in his pocket to hold on to, and he immediately complied. Squeezing yours tightly, you could sense he was worried, too. You rested your connected hands on your small tummy and you let out a little scoff in disbelief as you also looked out the window. Belly was small, but soon would be huge, bearing three lives.

Just how long could you prolong your silence at your workplace?

You only had few weeks left.

Once the doors of your apartment closed behind you two, you wrapped your arms around Baekhyun's neck, pulling him close to you, burying your head in the crook between his neck and shoulder. He didn't hesitate to hug you back, squeezing your aching body as gently yet as persistently as he only could to show you he was there for you.

“Baekhyun,” you whispered, the sound muffled, your breath hot on his skin. “Just what will we do?”

This time he also hid his face in your shoulder, while his other hand came up to rest on the back of your head. “We can do this. This is…” he hesitated before gently pulling back to gaze into your teary eyes, “a blessing. For me. For us.”

Momentarily, you closed your eyes and let his honest words sink in. He was right, of course. If everything would go well, you were heading into a family filled with happiness and lots of children's laughter. “It is, darling. But money-wise-”

“Don't even start,” he retorted gently and cupped your cheek. “That is not something we should focus on right now.”

You frowned. “How should I not focus on it when we barely live with what we have now? And we are two adults, Baekhyun. We need a lot of things for one child, can you imagine the amount of money that goes into three?”

“First, we need to sign up for the governmental support, but I am more than sure that is automatically given once you give birth,” he reasoned rationally, not letting your frown break his stance. “Second, you need to chill, okay? Leave it up to me, I know what I am doing.”

“You need to enlighten me, because I won't be able to chill otherwise.”

“You know I am soon done with my PhD. The position of the professor is literally months away,” he replied hurriedly, “we will manage, honey. I will give my everything to you, to them.”

“But I want to give as well,” you protested, stubborn. “I also want to provide for us, Baekhyun.”

“Well, you are doing just that, aren't you?” he asked, confused at your scared face. “C'mon, you are acting like you are going to get kicked out for being pregnant.”

That shut you up very quickly. Shit. He had no idea you would get sacked the moment your boss as much as sniffed pregnancy.

“You can work until you can, until your body is able to… as much as I hate to say it. I don't want to lock you down just because of your state, sweetie, hm?”

His words touched your heart, but he would soon find out he didn't have to do it because you would do it for him by losing your job. You wanted to laugh.

“And then you will take the maternity leave. If you can work from home, even better, right?” Baekhyun kept going on, his features brightening.

You nodded, fazed. This was something you probably should resolve by yourself and very quickly. The last thing your wanted was for Baekhyun to provide for five people all by himself.

After few seconds of silence, he let you go. “Go change into something comfy, hm? I will prepare food, you need to eat.”

Standing still, you watched him move around your tiny kitchen, opening the cabinets, preparing plates, heating up food - when he sensed your unmoving body, he turned, and looked at you, perplexed. He called your name softly before coming back to you. “What's the matter?”

Staring at him, you were speechless. So you shook your head.

He chuckled quietly before cradling your neck and bringing your head close so he could give you a lasting kiss on your forehead. “My pregnant little lady.”

You scoffed. “Not little for too long.”

He laughed and his eyes shone when he looked at you, squeezing your cheeks. “Can you imagine? This young cheeky lady, and three babies inside.”

“Baekhyun,” you murmured, rolling your eyes. Your murmur came out funnily as he was still squeezing your cheeks, letting out a little yelp.

“But you are just so cute? How is that possible? Shit, you will be even cuter when the babies will grow!”

You sighed, realising he was in one of those fever moments when he just had to vent out his racing thoughts, be it whatever. “I will be an elephant soon.”

“A cute elephant. An elephant lady to her Dumbo boy?” he quirked his eyebrows and moved his ears back and forth, making you laugh out loud.

“You're unbelievable,” you giggled.

“There it is,” he murmured, affectionate gaze grazing your smiling features.

“Hmm?”

Slowly, he let his thumb trace your stretched out mouth and the soft wrinkles around your eyes. “The smile. The genuine smile. You look gorgeous with it, sweetheart. Whatever it is that is on your mind, vent it all out to me, okay?” he lowered himself a bit so he was on the same eve-level with you. “By no means keep it to yourself. We are in this together.”

You stayed silent for a moment, before saying: “I love you so much.”

He sighed, almost in relief, before bringing you into another hug. “And I love you, much much more.”

When the food was prepared and both you and Baekhyun were changed into comfy clothes, he sat you down onto his lap, both of you munching on the soup.

“This reminds me that one time we drove a truck and sat in the backside, trying not to fall out on the dirt road,” said Baekhyun before slurping on his soup.

You hummed, swallowing your portion. “You mean when you asked me to sit on your lap? And hold onto your sweaty chest?”

He gave you a cheeky grin. “Exactly that one. Just wanted to sweep that pretty young girl off of her feet, straight into my arms,” he sing-sang.

You giggled, remembering that time very well.

It happened before his enlistment.

The day was scorching hot, creating droplets of sweat on your forehead within minutes of being exposed to the strong sunshine. Your uniform was plastered to your body, but thankfully no one could tell just how hot you were. Probably a big part of it could have been because of that gorgeous boy who was, of course, very well known in your village and the surrounding areas. The hapkido master and charmer who is able to make heads turn within a heartbeat, all for him.

That day he was working around your school and he happened to be finishing his work in the late afternoon just when you were leaving your classroom and heading outside, prepared for the long walk.

You knew Baekhyun. Your family knew Baekhyun. He was a trust-worthy young man and he also lived in the house next to yours. You might have shared few chickens as they were wandering around the shared space. So when he asked if you needed a ride home, you replied with a bright smile, your heart jumping like crazy, your mind racing with possibilities of what he might do. Would he give you a smile? Of course, he would. He was Baekhyun. And he reserved the sweetest of smiles only for you. They were breathtaking and made you feel like you were the only person on this planet. You wanted to share him never.

His colleague driving, you and him climbed on the back to enjoy the breeze throughout the drive but there were no seats and your skirt was surely short. Baekhyun had had long taken of his sweaty shirt, his toned body glistening under the sunrays. He sat down on the edge with his knees politely connected before he patted the top of his thighs. “Come, sit here,” he said as the car moved and your skirt almost blew upwards before you and him both reached for the hem of it to keep it down.

You blushed a deep red and he gave you a lopsided grin before he gently placed his hands on your hips and helped you lower on his lap, his arm protectively around your back, his hand resting on your hip. His touch was burning through the material, but his breath which was so close to yours was scorching. The pull was strong, yet you didn't dare to look at him right away, feeling his searching gaze on you.

“How is high school?” he started, his voice light. To make sure you wouldn't fall, he placed his other arm over your thighs and looked at you curiously.

Your hands were folded in your lap, and you felt how he purposefully moved the hand closer so your hands would brush and rest against each other. You itched your hand just a tiny bit closer. “It's okay. Too bad the previous seniors are already gone,” you replied, boldly looking him in the eyes, referring to him. “Would have been more interesting to be at school.”

He chuckled boyishly, sending electric waves down your body. “Honest girl, I see.” He looked ahead for a bit before looking back at you again. “That's what I like. It's a shame, indeed. Would have liked to meet you on the corridors of the school.”

Would have loved to kiss you in the dark corner of the corridors, you thought, the idea so sweet you felt the pull in your insides. Ah, not now, don't think about it now! He is right here!

“When are you enlisting?”

“In a couple of months,” he replied. You expected him to grow dull at the idea, but he was still cheerful.

You smiled. “Seems like you are looking forward to it?”

“I love sports and I want to become a real man,” he admitted, laughing. There was a bigger bump on the road, making both of you jump up, his arm tightening around you in reflex which caused him to pull you even closer. Your faces were so, so close.

“I will miss you, though,” you mumbled sheepishly, not caring about almost falling off the car.

“I will come back, hm? It doesn't last forever,” he replied, still gentle in voice. Noticing your sour expression, he said: “ Now there, I don't want to see that face,” he spoke gently, his face even closer now as you ever so slightly lifted your downcast gaze to meet his dark orbs. “You look beautiful when you smile.” And I think I want to kiss you.

But you might not be ready yet.

Sighing in content, you snuggled closer to Baekhyun as you fell asleep right after food. He realised quickly that the happenings of the day must have caught up with you, because by the end of lunch your head was dropping on his shoulder.

Tucking you in the bed, he pulled out his phone while he had you curled up by his chest, your head just under his chin, while his arm was your pillow. In that hand, he was holding his phone and scrolling through some information from the government that could give you help but as much as he scrolled he only got positive news. Although you wouldn't be receiving much, you sure would be getting some cash as a thank you, since the country was doing terribly in terms of birth rate.

Baekhyun was silent, except some random hums that would softly leave his throat, but nothing that would disturb you in your peaceful slumber. His free hand was caressing your back soothingly, slowly he would drag his palm up between your shoulder blades where he would make a circle and than go all the way to the small of your back, reaching the hem of your shirt, where he added more pressure, knowing your lower back was giving you a hard time already.

He was very excited about the news. Of course, it was only natural they caught him off-guard but he just wanted many kids with you and make a happy family like he always imagined. The fact that fate provided this all at once was a sign for him and he was not going to be the one ruining it. And he would make sure he was there for you during each step.

Even if your mind was troubled, you were sleeping rather contently in the arms of your man and his caressings were what you woke up to. Ever so slightly, you lifted your head to have a look at his focused stare illuminated by the screen of his smartphone. He was studying something, and even though he felt you stirring, his caressing had yet to cease.

You reached up with your puckered lips and gave his chin a gentle kiss, signalling him you were up.

He hummed, not looking down at you. “Sleeping beauty is up.”

“Sorry I fell asleep like that,” you whispered, not wanting to disturb the bubble between you two.

“Why are you apologising?” he whisper-asked back, now locking his phone and letting it fall from his hand to look at your pale face. “You must be so tired, honey. I like us being like this.”

You raised your eyebrows in question at his sudden confession.

He smiled gently and gave your nose a sweet kiss. “Lying in bed, you sleeping and probably the babies too, and I'm here looking over you guys.”

His words touched your heart. “Yes. I feel the safest when I am with you.” You caressed his cheek affectionately and he gave you a smile before grabbing his phone to go back to researching.

“Go, sleep some more, sweetie,” he said. “We have work tomorrow, so let's make sure you rest plenty.”

You bit your lip, hiding your face in his chest right away, the thought of entering work tomorrow quite scary.

Mulling whether you should tell Sukyeong about your situation and ask for her advice, you found yourself drifting back into another slumber.

Telling her would maybe ease your worrying heart.

But it wouldn't save your job for sure.

And that was the problem.

Symbiote AU Drabbles - 02

“Screw you, Rudolph. I want my lawyer.” Butters felt like he was swimming in sweat as Detective Rudolph stared at him from across the table. “I want my lawyer, and I want my phone call.”

“If you were under arrest, those things would both be duly appointed you,” said Rudolph, his face neutral enough but for the glittering malice Waldo could imagine was behind those dark eyes. “As it is, this is more of a formal inquiry.”

Waldo swallowed hard, blinking as a trickle of sweat rolled down from his temple. The room was hot. He felt like he was on the edge of another anxiety attack, and knew he looked a mess. Sweaty, a little vomit still on his scrubs from when he’d been unable to hold in his panic.

This was bad. He’d tried to call Harry, but hadn’t gotten an answer. He should have tried Murphy, but the Sergeant was probably asleep. He was alone, waiting for Brioche and whoever else from Internal Affairs who had a massive bug up their ass about SI and anything to do with spooky things to bring the hammer down.

All in all, his goose was cooked.

“What kind of formal inquiry involves an interrogation room at a precinct somewhere and a guard at the door, Rudolph? In case you missed it, I’m not fighting anyone.”

“No,” he said mildly. “But there are concerns. Avenues to be followed. Once your superior clears it, there are also clauses in your contract to be upheld.”

Waldo felt as though something icy cold had slipped in his stomach. He’d been over his contract plenty of times, and knew exactly what this entailed. Any signs of unstable behavior, probable cause to suggest drug addiction or mental incompetence, and he’d be getting escorted to a drug test by an orderly and welcomed right back into Lakeshore with a heaping side of gas lighting.

“I’m not insane! And I’m not on drugs!”

“We will follow all avenues to ensure you are of sound body and mind, Dr. Butters.”

Panic twisted in his gut again. Three more months, probably. Lose his job this time? Definitely. Disgrace waited him, maybe even losing his license-

He needed his lawyer, he needed Stallings, and he needed Murphy. And he needed Harry, though when it came to the coming legal battles Harry wouldn’t be the help he needed.

A sudden, powerful urge for action washed over him. What he needed was to escape. Without real consideration, Waldo tilted his head, eyes canting over to the officer on guard. His eyes dropped to the weapon at his hip, then back up at the plain steel door behind him with its tiny reinforced window of glass, before looking at the two-way mirror for the first time.

He looked a damn mess. His hair was sweaty, sticking to his forehead in places, and sticking up in clumps in others. His skin had taken on a flushed, hectic hue that made him wonder if he was sweating for more than just nervousness, like his immune system was trying to fight a bug.

He focused on his reflection, considering how thin the pane of glass might be. A quarter inch, perhaps, at most? The force that would take to shatter it would perhaps take sixty pounds of force-

He blinked. Was he really considering that? He couldn’t break glass.

“What exactly do you think I’m guilty of, detective?”

“We simply think you may be in need of a sabbatical or observation, for your own protection,” he said with mock-gentleness.

We need to put you in the loony bin again, he translated mentally, to get what we want out of you.

It took effort not to bare his teeth.

The phone in Rudolph’s pocket vibrated. Waldo blinked, staring at it. Who had a phone that buzzed that loud? That had to be obnoxious to have on you all day long.

Rudolph took it from his pocket, considered the screen a moment, and excused himself. Waldo said nothing, watching him go and resisting the urge to dive for the open door. The quiet, stoic uniformed officer shut the door and remained in place.

I am definitely under some kind of detainment, he thought. If that was Brioche calling, it was going to get even worse. He’d be sent to Lakeshore for ‘his own good’ unless he rolled on someone. Probably Sergeant Murphy. Maybe Harry. A little quid pro quo.

Aggression spiked in his chest and Waldo clenched his hands under the desk into tight fists. He had to calm himself down before he had another panic attack, or did something stupid. He had to. This would be fine. They couldn’t hold him, couldn’t prove he’d done anything worse than try to move a body without an orderly present. If the security guard didn’t roll on him - and he shouldn’t, it was David, David was a decent guy - he’d be out in quick order. Then Stallings and Murphy and his lawyer would help him out, and he’d consider sending his resume around again.

It’ll be okay, it’ll be okay, it’ll-

The door opened again and instead of turning he looked back to the reflection in the glass. Rudolph was smiling.

“I know you’re anxious, Dr. Butters, but we’ve got some people coming to look after you,” he said in that same fake-gentle tone of his. “Once they’ve given you a look over, we’ll decide our course of action.”

“You mean once they put me in their special scrubs and take my glasses away,” he said with a snap, fists tightening further until he thought his knuckles might pop. “And then you figure you’ll have intimidated me enough into giving you information on SI or Murphy.”

“I never said that. But it would be wise to cooperate, make it easy on yourself. Any drug charges,” he said this smugly, “can be carefully considered.”

He thinks I’m hopped up on PCP or cocaine. Great. Just fucking-

He surprised himself with the curse, but didn’t say anything at once. He had to swallow down the bile, the nausea, the pure whitehotrage that he never felt, but apparently wasn’t able to rid himself of.

“You can take your drug test and your orderlies or whoever you’ve called,” said Waldo, steeling himself, “and shove it up where the sun doesn’t shine. I want my lawyer. I want my phone call. And I want proper medical attention. A doctor that I pick. I think I may have gotten infected by something off that John Doe.”

Rudolph snorted. “You think you’re turning into a zombie, now?”

Waldo repressed the reflexive shiver at the idea, but didn’t turn his gaze away like he normally might have. “No. But you can see the way I have a fever. You really want to be unprotected with me, in this room? No masks?”

The detective’s demeanor shifted, as if he was weighing the idea, put off guard in the face of medical knowledge he didn’t have.

With a sudden burst of inspiration, Waldo drew in a deep breath and coughed in his direction, making sure he made as large a cloud of droplets with his breath as possible, no hand over his mouth.

Rudolph was across the room in a matter of seconds, the officer on guard following. The lock clicked in the door.

Waldo stared at it, looking up at the window, and then turned back to the desk. He put his hands on top of the metal table, and watched the way it fogged around his fingertips. Sweat trickled down his back.

I am really sick, he thought.

That meant he should be going to get tested. Go to the doctor. But he had a feeling what he had wasn’t going to be solved with a doctor. It would probably be solved with a Wizard, though.

He just had to get out.

Which meant he had to be calm and wait for his chance… whatever that ended up being.

As he put his head down to try and think, still staring at the fake mirror across from him, his stomach growled.

Today I am going to talk about two things that are really close to my heart but firstly I want to apologise for posting after such a long time. I am still getting hang of things and trying to find my footing in the world of blogging while trying not to overthink every post I try to write. Moving on, the two things I am about to talk about are not just close to my heart but they made me into who I am as a person today. Lupus and Books.

I was barely a teenager when I was diagnosed with the Lupus and this is 2003 december that I am talking about. 27th December if we want to be precise. Internet was not what it is now. Not many people were aware of the disease. Hell, no one had heard the name of this disease. We hadn’t. The doctors barely knew about how to treat this. Even with today’s technology and awareness there are patients out there who are either misdiagnosed or not treated with the right medication so you can imagine how it was around 15 years ago.

I remember it so vividly. We had a school trip to Jaipur in November first week and it had been the best trip of my life and I was still on a high from that trip when I developed a fever. Obviously no one took it seriously thinking I over exerted or maybe it was a viral but it wouldn’t go down so all the routine check ups were done and all my bloods were clear. No one knew what was happening. For over a month I had this fever which just came down suddenly. It was gone and I was back to school thanking my stars and catching up with friends. Who was crushing on whom? Bunking classes to prepare a dance performance, entering my name in all curricular activities I could get my hands on. This 12 year old Sana loved school. She would reach half an hour early just so she could hang out with her friends and chill. This is the same Sana who loves sleep and would actually marry a bed if she could.

Unfortunately that spell of good health broke and I had two really swollen joints. I could barely move my hand. My wrist was twice its size which is when my pediatrician suggested I need to go to a doctor who was good at diagnosing stuff because she thought it was a multiple organ disease and she didn’t want to treat me for the wrong ailment. Everyone just assumed it was arthritis considering my mom and Nani both had this disease but we waited for the test results impatiently. I wanted to get back to my normal life and be rid of the pain. Christmas was coming and I was not going to miss the celebrations at school. I wanted to part of the show children were putting on. My parents on the other hand were thinking about the long term effect this was going to have on me. The over excited 12 year old hadn’t really grasped at the fact that this was going to be a long term disease. A chronic illness, a term I had never even heard.

Long story short I was diagnosed with Lupus and my world turned upside down(Lupus in simplest of simplest explanation is your immunity attacking your body instead of protecting you for those who don’t know about it and want to know more please feel free to message me on Insta or twitter. Both links are at the bottom of the page) I didn’t realise the gravity of the situation until much later which I am thankful for because otherwise I would have been a wreck. I didn’t have a phone and google on my fingertips to tell me the worst case scenarios. When I actually sit down and think about that time I don’t think I really understood what was happening and was taking one day at a time. This sana was hopeful and always smiling. Bright ray of sunshine no matter what. Everyone thinks I am brave because of how dealt with it all when in reality I was a really confused kid.

One of the medications given to treat lupus is steroids. It kills your immunity so it doesn’t attack your body but it is also leaving you vulnerable to getting anything and everything which is why I had to stay at home for six months. It wasn’t a suggestion. It was an order from doctor and something my parents refused to contradict. Doc’s word is the law in my house. She is basically my second mom. What steroid also does is that you gain weight. You are hungry all the fucking time and then you gain weight. I gained around 15-20 kgs and I had to sneak out and go to the medical room to have a midday meal. It also damages your bones. Basically part of your bones stop receiving blood and because of that there are dead patches in the bones. It usually happens after a really long term use of steroids but I got it within like six months.

My friends who had last seen me in November were in shock. Some people didn’t even recognize me. I went from 45 kgs to 60 and I was in crutches. I wasn’t the active girl anymore, dancing and volunteering or even talking. I had gone into my shell and no one tried to even understand what I was going through. I was an outsider. Alone. No one wanted to hangout with me and that was a new experience for me. Unknown territory. I had always been confident person but after everything I had become shy and nervous and the friends I had didn’t really make an effort to be my friends.

That one day changed everything. I used to read before that but never seriously. It was rare and it was just harry potter. My mom noticed this change in me and we had a talk about everything. I told her how the best friends had vanished. Everyone had vanished. It had reached the level where I used to eat alone during lunch in an empty classroom because everyone went out and I couldn’t climb down two floors with crutches throughout the day.

My mom just told me to read more. She told me people are going to come and leave specially with me because of my issues but books? There are always going to be books around. They will never leave you. You can take them with you wherever you want and those words kind of just hit a mark. This is when I actually started reading. I talked to my librarian at school and when I couldn’t go in for a long spell my mom would go and collect a bunch of books for me to read while I was stuck in bed.

That was just the beginning of reading books obsessively (I remember staying up during my 12th board exam to finish reading twilight. Don’t give me that look! We have all been into the twilight hole). I would read every second I could get. It was an escape I hadn’t realized I needed. I could be in Hogwarts while I was hospitalized? How could it get any better, right? I found a passion in something I didn’t ever think was for me and I owe it to not only my mom but also my English teacher I had at that time. She was always encouraging when it came down to reading and writing. Yes, the books lead me to writing opening another whole new world for me that I didn’t know existed. I was talking to people from around the world. Finally people who were there. They weren’t judging me or starting rumours about how I am faking it all for attention or telling me I was depressing. Yes, someone told me that. A school friend. Someone I considered a really close friend of mine. I think we were around 24 and she said we don’t invite you to things because talking to you is depressing and we wanted to enjoy ourselves. Again, proving that books were more loyal than humans. Actually they are better than humans. Period.

I know its difficult to be friends with someone who is always cancelling plans or cant go out and asks the other person to come over. Sometimes they are bitchy too but can you blame them? They are fighting a battle with their own body every single fucking. Can you blame me? Everyone you meet always says they understand but they truly don’t because by the time they understand they are already running away in the opposite direction.

Books don’t run away to begin with, they take you not just around the world but to worlds that don’t exists. To universe that is so vast and to make you dream. Books dare you to dream, they give you hope,too. For a better tomorrow. Tomorrow is another day. Am I right or am I right?

A/N: I'm a very sick biscuit- my eyes have been swollen for a week and I'm fighting something really fucking terrible so half of this will probably be misspelled and won't make sense because I have a fever. ON THE BRIGHT SIDE I finished my finals yesterday- which means another chapter of DCIIH is on the way, so expect that by the end of the week. This I wrote sometime last week during or after a final.

- You and Taehyung are apart of the same social circle.

- The group of teenagers/college students that spend their time sitting on the outskirts of town, drag racing, drinking, doing drugs, and in general neglecting their responsibilities.

- You steal boogie boards from the beach and use them to slide down gravel piles.

- You Playing chicken and drinking until it becomes actually dangerous.

- More than once the cops get called.

- But try as they might they cant get rid of the outskirt city.

- Occasionally someone’s parent or older brother shows up- and begs the other to reconsider.

- Sometimes people disappear- to Juvie, or the military, or to a ritzy private school where they can be controlled.

- But on the outskirts of town, it doesn’t matter if your family’s poor or rich- if you’re getting straight A's or if you're flunking out.

- All that matters is if you can outrace Jungkook, or beat Jackson in an arm-wrestle when you’re wasted. (You couldn’t do it even if you where sober and using both hands).

- It doesn’t bother him at first- that you always have another man’s arm around your shoulders.

- Your boyfriend is a bit of a ringleader; there are definitely cliques in the groups that gather on the outskirts.

-The actual population of your little rundown city of half decrepit cars and old machinery abandoned by the city always fluctuates to around 30-40 people.

- You’re one of the regulars- and you’re something of a ringleader yourself.

- You can beat half of them in a drag racing contest. Go shot for shot with Lay And sometimes your burns have the whole outskirts shaking with laughter.

- Your smile is easy and elastic like pink bubblegum and it makes Taehyung’s heart twinge whenever he sees it.

- By some coincidence, you end up in the same college class (his older brother finally convinced him to sign up for a community college class 3 times a week).

- Only you’re not his fellow student you’re a ta.

- And you're so different here, teaching a lab, then you are on the outskirts. you're calm and energetic and happy. Not the wry ringleader he’s grown fond of.

- You are not ice queen you are when your boyfriend has his arm around you.

- Somehow that makes him love you more.

- You recognize him instantly and demand that he have lunch with you. while smiling at him and he can hardly refuse you.

- He listens to you talk, and smile, and joke around about the dumb college class that you're teaching for an extra credit.

- And then he realizes that if he hadn’t seen you for months on the outskirts he would think you were absolutely normal.

- But there's still a wildness in you that he can see- that he’s been watching since he noticed you. He wouldn't be surprised if no one else ever noticed it.

- He makes a habit of staying later to have lunch with you, even if it means he misses his train and has to wait 40 minutes for the next one.

- But there’s still this darkness in your eyes when your boyfriend calls sometimes at lunch.

- A venerability that makes him want to hold you.

- And he knows after Taehyung catches him glaring one night that you've told him that he’s your student. - One night he gets out of work late- he works as a secretary for a wealthy private doctor named Kim Seokjin- and it’s a weekday so no meeting up in the outskirts.

- And its raining really hard, one of those warm summer rains,

- He gets on the subway tracks home and finds it deserted this late at night except for you sitting here reading after a day of classes and teaching. He sits next to you and you talk until he’s laughing too hard to breath.

- You guys realize after about an hour that your train isn’t coming.

- its late at night- and its one of those warm summer days.

- And you guys dance to the end of the platform where the overhang ends. And he pushes you into the deluge of warm summer rain and you shriek and pull him in.

- And you’re both dancing in the rain, soaking wet, and feeling more at ease and understood than you ever have.

- Your skirt clings to your legs and his white dress shirt is pressed to his chest as you both scream the lyrics to a pop song.

- There’s nothing but the two of you and the rain.

- Later when you’re getting into the cab that you'll share, riding into your part of town, you giggle through your shivering- thanking him for the dance lessons.

- He pulls you against his body intent on just warming you up.

- But when he looks down at you, your lips are almost purple.

- But they feel anything but cold when he presses his lips against yours.

- You kiss him back for the tiniest of moments before you’re pushing him away and he wants to kick himself because you have that same vulnerable look in your eyes.

- But you don’t tell him that you don’t feel that way about him.

- You only say “He’d kill you if he ever found out.”

- It takes things a long while to get back to normal after that.

- You don’t smile at him as much over the edge of your papers at lunch, and your cold eyes barely hover on him when you spend time at the outskirts.

- It lasts until July- after classes have ended and someone’s bought fireworks.

- Jungkook, Jimin, and Taehyung have a fight with roman candles that leaves his hair singed and leaves a burn spot on Jungkook’s favorite jacket.

- You sit on the warm hood of Taehyung’s expensive black car in a mesh shirt is the exact opposite of appropriate to teach in as you lean in and giggle- brushing away the ashes that have fallen into his hair.

- Taehyung wants to put his hands on your bare thighs, hook his long fingers underneath your knees and pull you to the edge of the car so that he can kiss you.

- But before he can the street racers come back and your boyfriend comes hurtling out of the car.

- Even Jungkook hoots as he beats Woozi- usually the best driver out of all of you.

- You saunter over to give him a kiss and a “congrats babe.”

- He watches with jealousy as he plants a scalding kiss on your lips that makes you arch into him.

- Your boyfriend’s cold eyes flicker up to meet Taehyung’s and he sees possessiveness like fire blaze in his eyes. Taehyung turns away jaw tightening- his cheeks turning red from being caught staring at you.

- Taehyung doesn’t find out until later- but when you go back to your boyfriend’s house later a loud fight ensues.

- “I see the way that kid looks at you y/n, don’t think I don’t.” he grabs your chin roughly, “look at me before I find something more entertaining than this conversation.” You look up at him, tears stinging in your eyes as his fingers dig into your cheekbones.

- “He’s just a kid babe you don’t have anything to worry about.”

- “I see the way he looks at you.” “You know I’d kill him if I ever found out he did anything with you.”

- And there must be something in your eyes that denotes the kiss that happened so long ago in that taxi that makes your boyfriend push you back onto the bed and claim your mouth with a scalding kiss.

- That night when you have sex- it feels like your boyfriend is just reminding you whom you belong to, it doesn’t feel like making love. And if you’re honest with yourself it hasn’t in a long time.

- A few weeks later the outskirts are just starting the sun is just setting and everyone’s only half drunk when Taehyung pulls up with Jungkook in the back of the car.

- And he notices that you nor your boyfriend are there- someone makes a wry comment and gestures over his back to a car.

- And he sees you and your boyfriend fighting in the front and passenger seat.

- Your mascara is running down your face and you’ve got that look again. You look up and meet Taehyung’s eyes. Letting out a shaky breath as you hold his stare.

- You're Not paying attention to what your boyfriend is saying next to you. And Taehyung watches as he yells and practically spits in your face.

- He grabs your shoulders roughly to turn you to look at him and you recoil going to get out of the car and walking away.

- Taehyung’s already walking in your direction.

- He stumbles out of the car too- and Taehyung can tell just by looking at him that he’s already hammered.

- You’re walking towards Taehyung and the rest of the group while he screams at you.

- He takes a beer bottle in his hand, “don’t you walk away from me bitch.” he growls/yells. The bottle shatters against your feet. You yelp as the glass hits your skin.

- Taehyung runs forward to check your ankles- making sure that your legs have no cuts.

- You’re pissed- fiery as you turn to him- and the apology that crosses his lips sounds half-assed even to Taehyung.

- “What the fuck was that!”

- “I’m sorry babe I don’t know what-“

- “I should leave your ass for trying that shit with me-“ he laughed bitterly.

- Your boyfriend grabs you by the throat and whispers lowly in your ear.

- “And do what- who would take you after you’d been ruined by me?”

- Taehyung tares you away from him as the others come to your rescue. only after realizing that this fight is going bad places quickly.

- Taehyung calmly leads you to his car with a hand on your shoulder as Jungkook hops in the back seat and the others try to talk your boyfriend down.

- “You need to talk to her again when you’re less drunk” you hear Wendy shout as she gets in front of him blocking you from view.

- You don't stop crying until you and Taehyung drop Jungkook back at his parent's apartment uptown.

- He doesn’t say anything to you. He lets you sit quietly, turning up the heat in his car at the slightest sign of shivers. You both pause at a red light- the streets a deserted, there isn’t even a cop in the street this late at night in the business district.

- “I’m trying to figure out why you’re still with him- but no matter how many times I pour over it in my head I can’t understand it.”

- “Its not that simple.”

- “Do you believe what he said back there? That you could never be loved by anyone but him?” the silence is enough from you to answer his question.

- And the lights already turned green but he leans over and looks at you.

- He tucks one of your stray hairs behind your ear and lays his hand against your cheek.

- So gently- more gentle than anyone’s ever been with you- the old you would have slapped his hand away and told him that you wouldn’t break. But now you’re not so sure. You feel like you’re an inch from shattering.

- “You can’t believe that y/n. that someone as passionate, kind and beautiful as you isn’t deserving of love.”

- “He does love me.”

- “You and I both know that that’s not love- don’t try to deny it.”

- You look down at your lap and away from him. “You don’t understand.”

- “Understand that you think you’re not worth more than that asshole when you’re practically golden? I think I understand perfectly fine, I wish you could see yourself the way I see you.”

- He laughs lightly- he’s still angry, he still wants to punish your piece of shit boyfriend for doing that too you, but now that you’re miles away he’s feeling slightly less murderous. But not enough to not reply.

- “Maybe you should break up with him first.” yeah you sigh, leaning your head up against his shoulder.

- “Thanks, Tae Tae” he blushes at the nickname as the two of you both sit and watch the waves.

- He wants to lean over and press a kiss to the top of your head but he knows it wouldn’t be proper- and that after the day you’ve had, You might think he’s taking advantage of you.

- “I’m at your beck and call sweetheart- you already know that.”

- You stand up abruptly, almost knocking. Into his head- and for a second he almost thinks he’s offended you with his forward actions. But all you do is glance back at his car.

- “Can you drive me back there- I wanna do it tonight. I’m done with this.”

- You text the usual group when you get back into town and find out that he’s at a local club. You and Taehyung wade your way through to the center of the pulsing lights and people.

- “I can’t find him.” You say as you turn to look at Taehyung, and that’s when the crowd clears and he sees your boyfriend over your shoulder.

- Or not really over your shoulder- more like burrowing into someone else’s

- a different girl, while he feels up the front of her body. He swallows and you follow his gaze. You tap him on the shoulder and slap him across the face when he turns.

- “We’re through you dick.”

- “No baby wait.” He said, grabbing you harshly, Taehyung puts himself in-between the two of you- forcing him to let go of you.

- “Don’t fucking touch her!” the bouncers appear and shove the three of you out of the back of the club.

- Taehyung is careful to stay in-between the two of you knowing that your ex will try to grab you again.

- “How long have you been sneaking around with him you fucking slut?”

- “Don’t talk to her like that.”

- “Or what?” Taehyung’s fist hits the side of your exes face with a crack.

- “Do you know what a piece of shit you are? How good y/n is. God I don’t know how you ever got her- she could do so much better than you.”

- “Better like you?” Taehyung’s laugh scares you a little but it scares your EX more. Taehyung grabs his collar and drags his face towards his.

- “She could do better than me, I know that. But at least I know better than to hurt a woman.” He shoves him down. Grabbing your hand and pulling you down the alleyway.

- He drives you too the outskirts and there’s no one there- its late enough on a Sunday. And you cuddle up on the warm hood of his car underneath a blanket he keeps in the back seat and you play with his fingers as he talks to you about everything and anything.

- Out here the stars feel like they were made for you. And you feel so calm and safe pressed up against the side of Tae’s body.

- You listen to the thrum of his deep voice against your ear.

- You lean up and bend over him to press your lips to his- and it turns dangerous quickly, hungry almost. you pull away after a moment and you’re both breathing heavy.

- He kisses each bruise on your face and then your hands carefully and gently.

- “Better?” he asks.

- “Better.” you agree.

Extra - You convince Tae to go to college. He gets a degree in childhood education and becomes an elementary school teacher after cleaning up his act.

A/n: after months of waiting finally got a good laptop so heres one of the request i have been meaning to write (kinda changed it up a bit but its fine i guess)

Plot : The Reader gets her wisdom teeth removed and Peter decided to use this opportunity to tease the Reader.

Wisdom Teeth.

It has been a struggle to keep the pain a secret. Seeing as your wisdom teeth started growing it was going to be hassle. But you weren’t worried about the pain you were more worried about Peter. He was the sweetest thing even if he was sometimes an asshole. He cared so much for you seeing as you are his girlfriend and he was part of the X men and his dad is one of the most dangerous mutants alive.

So you kept it in.

Till today the pain was bearable but as you got up this morning the pain was stronger times 10. You had a fever for the first half of the day and it wasn’t helping that you had a lot of things to do around school as well.

You just kept at it, trying to ignore the pain best you could. You decided to skip breakfast and lunch because lets face it, you probably wont even be able to drink anything let alone eat something.

Peter of course noticed it and found you in a matter of seconds in one of your classes.

You felt cold air on your back and soon after felt warm hands wrap around your waist. A small smile appeared on your face as you looked back to find the chocolate brown eyes you loved so much, staring back at your (y/e/c) colored ones.

“Hey you.” You say as you peck his lips lightly. He only smiled at you, holding you closer to him. “You haven’t eaten today, you ok ?”

You stopped moving as soon as he said that. You tried to think of a good excuse but soon realized that it was probably no use, knowing that peter wont believe you till you tell him the truth. With a sigh you said “my wisdom tooth hurt and I cant really eat or drink right now.”

As soon as you said that he ran off or the rest of the day.

When you got all your work done you went back to your shared room with Peter. Your stomach hurt and so did your teeth. You wanted too eat something this entire day but alas you couldn’t .

Damn those stupid wisdom teeth.

You got to your room only to see there was a vase of roses, a few boxes of pain medication and a note on the night stand on your side of the bed. You smiled and read the note while also glancing at the box of pills. “hey you. Knowing you , you’ll be super stubborn and wont go see a dentist so I went for you. Along with that I got you a box of strong meds from the dentist so take the pills and go get something to eat ok ? I wont be back till tomorrow, you know, X men missions and such. So ill see you tomorrow . Love you, Peter. ”

You laughed under your breath and took the meds. He was always so caring it sometimes made you feel guilty that you made him so worried sometimes. But you were still thankful that he was with you.

The pills work like a charm and 15 minutes later the pain was gone for a while. You finally got something to eat and after went to bed. It was a bit weird to go to bed alone because you didn’t do it often and most of his missions were over with quickly but it seems that this one was either far away or had a different task at hand.

In the morning you woke u and felt the dull pain in the back of your jaws growing stronger. You took the pills again and went to get ready to go to the dentist. you soon got everything you needed and you were out the door.

A few hours later Peter was back from his mission, that, as usual, almost ended in a disaster. He was surprised not to see you home at this time but he tried not to give it to much thought. But when he got a call from the dentist he got a bit worried. It turned out it took a bit of time to get rid of your wisdom teeth and they just finished up and needed someone to pick you up.

When he got the dentist he was surprised to say the least. You were as high as the kite and with cotton balls in your mouth. A huge grin was on your face and giggles kept coming out of you instead of words.

With a sigh peter took you straight home and placed you on the bed. You , on the other hand , didn’t let go . instead you started whining “don’t go peteeeeeeee!” or “im cooooooold warm me uuuuuuuup”.

You were like a child and Peter didn’t waste time and took as much pictures and videos as he could.

Of course after you woke up from your nap your head was a lot more cleared up but at the same time you were confused at the amount of notifications on your phone. Seeing as you didn’t update you social media much you were surprised to see notifications from Instagram and facebook. But as soon as you opened your profile you knew exactly what happened. “PETER MAXIMOFF !!!” you yelled as you dropped your phone on the bed , Instagram opened on the pic of you sleeping , mouth wide open while upside down on the bed.

i made friends with a Reaper and im not sure it was a good idea

let me start from the beginning.

I've always a certain amount of luck all my life. i don't know if you would consider myself extremely lucky or extremely unlucky. ever since i was born I've had countless near-death experiences. my first was when i was born. i was born blue and not breathing with no heartbeat. the doctors proclaimed it a stillbirth. but after a few minutes, i was breathing normally.

the doctors couldn't explain it. they called it a miracle. but I'm not so sure it was. to tell the truth, i think i was supposed to die that day.

ever since then, I've almost died countless times. I've slipped out of my high chair, choked, high week lasting fevers, you name it. every parent's worst nightmare and they all happened to me. but never died. at least not for long.

I've been declared legally dead more times then i could count. eventually, my mom couldn't take the stress anymore and gave me up for adoption. i never knew my dad and he wasn't on my birth certificate.

dying wasn't new to me. but something weird happened this time

the other 17-year-old boys who would use pick on me said they wanted to start over. i was foolish and ii believed them

i went to where they wanted to meet me. it was an old playset next to a river and well. I started walking there and i met with the other boys.

now i would like to say I'm a nice kid. i never wanted to hurt anyone. at least i never wanted to kill them. i like birds and puppies. i cried when i stepped on a beetle. and this made me weak to the other boys my age. i was always the but of the joke. they would always hit me and beat me up when other ones looking. they would do it even when someone was looking to. because the teachers hated me.

so i was happy to finally make some friends.

Shadley, the leader of the group came up to me first with his minion's kade and Jace in tow.

"hey, chase. good to see you buddy" he said placing a meaty hand on my shoulder

"come on, it's just a little game" Shadley smirked as kade and Jace hauled me up by my arms

i screamed and kicked but i was a stick compared to them. i cried as they brought me over to the old well. the hung me over the darkness by my ankles.

i screamed and cried for them to pull me back up and i promised i wouldn' tell anyone. not that it would have mattered if i did.

i looked back up at them my tears trailing and falling into the darkness below

"its just a game, don't be a baby. hey guys, i think he wants to go down father" he smirked

the grip on my ankles slipped and i fell another few inches into the well

i screamed again.ut not because of the boys dangling me. but because i saw two blood-red orbs looking at me through the darkness. they seemed to stare into my soul.

i screamed again this time the creature screamed along with me. a loud screech burst from where its lips should be.

the sound of the screams together in a tight space must have been too loud because the grip on my ankles slipped and suddenly i was falling.

down...

down then i hit the water.

and i died.

then i was back. i was now sitting in front of the well. where it was summer it was now snowing. i stood up confused. this has never happened before. i walked over to the playground and sat on the swings.i almost didn't notice the person who took a seat next to me on the other swing.

i looked over and there was a girl. about 14 with long dark black hair and pale skin. she was wearing a white dress.

"hi?" i said

she turned her eyes to me. they were dark. like so dark they looked like they were sucking in all the light and none would escape.

"hello chase," she said giving a soft smile

"how do you know my name? i asked uncomfortably

"i know a lot of things. like how your mother gave up on you. how older people hate you. how much you have those bullies" she said

"how-who-what are you?" i asked stepping off the swings and taking a step back

"my name is Riley. and I'm a Reaper" she said like it explained everything

"what? you're the grim reaper?" i asked skeptically.

she shook her head

"I'm a reaper. there are more than one"

"Why are you here? what do you want from me?" i asked. is it my time to finally die?

"I'm here to help you," she said smiling softly again

"why would you want to do that? I'm a nobody. go help Shadley." i said looking down

"no. your more important then you can ever know," she said while placing a hand on my face gently.

she continued" I'm your friend now. you always wanted a friend right? a real one? i can be that for you. i can help you get rid of your enemy. and i can rule by your side. Shadley,Jace, and Kane. we can stop them"

"i don't want to hurt anyone" i shook my head

"but it's not only you who they are hurting. other kids are being hurt as well. if you won't stop them for yourself cant you stop them from hurting others?" she said softly

it's not fair. they get everything want. they hurt whoever they want. a feeling that i never felt before flooded into me. rage. pure unbridled rage

"take my hand" she smiled. and i did. her skin felt like ice. we walked to the orphanage. i looked down and noticed she wasn't wearing any shoes. but her feet crunched on snow without showing any sign of hyperthermia.

as we walked past people sitting outside i noticed none of them looked at us.

"don't worry.long as you with me, they can't see you," she explained

we walked until we were inside the room that belonged to the bullies.

i was about to ask what was going on when the three but into the room bringing a scrying screening girl with them

i wanted they tried to hold her as she screamed and tried to get out of the room.

i looked at the reaper

"do something!" i yelled.

"you have to give me permission," she said narrowing her eyes

"fine whatever!i give you permission" i yelled. god, i wish i had stopped to think but the screams had reached and gotten into head.

suddenly the girl was standing above Kane holding what looked like a scythe made out of bone. she swung it down.

blood splatter everywhere and got all over me. then it was Jace's turn. the girl waved her hand and his neck snapped so hard the bones came out and sprayed blood everywhere, on me included.

then Shadley. having seen what happened to his friends he tried to make a run for it. his ankles were grabbed by the reaper and she sat on his backstabbing with the scythe. he cried out and the blade was drawn across his throat

i thought it was over.

but then they scythe was buried into the girl's throat.

tears ran down my face

"why?" i cried

the reaper didn't answer but picked up a dish that had fallen in the chaos. she filled it with the blood of the 3 boys and girl then walked up to me

before i could move the blood was shoved down my throat and i collapsed choking

"the blood of those who hurt you along with the blood of a virgin" she said raising her arms

then she started a chant. it wasn't any language i knew but i could still somehow understand it.

"a child of death and darkness shall be brought into the light

he shall be the end of heavens might

a demon father and a mother gone

have left his mind fractured and done

to remember who he was before

to help the blood stain the floor

though the angels try to bend and break

the Reapers will help him serve his fate

the blood of tormenters and pure combined

shall raise the new king to all demonkind"

i couldn't breathe. my eyes rolled back into my head and i felt blood pouring out through my nose. my tail bone hurt and so did my head and mouth. i screamed until the pain vanished. i ran my hand over the spots only to discover horns had sprouted from my head and a large spiked tail from the end of my spine.

my teeth sharp and to bite. i stood up my head now clear

i remember now. the angels. they wanted to kill me. they knew i was too strong.

i looked at the girl who was now smiling with approval her eyes growing red.

i let out a guttural screech and she joined into my battle call the sound shattering all nearby glass and causing other people in the building to clutch their ears and fall to the floor bleeding out.

i have to go now.

hell was waiting for me.

no matter what even did, they could never stepped fate.

i used to be weak

but now i am strong

i am not human

not anymore

i am the antichrist.

and all of heaven and hell shall kneel to me, or be destroyed.

She had Uninsured Motorist Protection as part of her insurance policy. I suffered no damages to my vehicle or person. She suffered $1500 worth of vehicular damage. Her insurance company paid for her damages. I was backing out of a parking space and she came flying around the corner and messed up the entire passenger door of her car on my rear bumper. Like I said I received no damage to my vehicle since I was the one barely moving. She called the police immediately after this minor accident took place. I was not cited on the ticket I received for any accident, only for no insurance. The officer informed me verbally that the accident was my fault only because she had the right of way but that there was nothing they could do about it because of the no fault zone policy. Anyway, now her insurance company is coming after me to collect payment of the $1500 they paid for her damages. I have not agreed to pay this amount because it was a no fault zone and I don't feel I should pay for it. She should not have been going that fast in a busy parking lot with a car full of kids. Although the unofficial technicality states that I was at fault, legally no one was at fault. Her insurance company is also threatening to have my license suspended if I do not pay the amount specified. I did not think that they, as a private company, had the power to have that happen. Progressive auto insurance problem !?

I need an opinion on what should i do in this case. 3 weeks ago , as I was driving home , on the freeway , from the truck in front of me fell big peace of ice and hit my car from underneath. Less than 1 minute later i noticed blue smoke behind , luckily there was and exit with gas station right there. By the time i pulled up to the gas station car was barely moving. After staying parked for 20 min , it leaked oil and tranny fluid . I called towing , had them pick the car up , called progressive made the claim. All of that happened in WI near Milwaukee , before i used to leave in Chicago , so I never dealt with progressive from WI. After couple days adjuster came out and gave shop 1100$ to start the repairs , shop diagnosed everything and came to a conclusion that its the transmission leaking because of the damage inside. Adjuster was extremely slow to give shop any kind of approvals to do anything , So after 3 weeks they finally allowed them to take transmission apart , another adjuster came out took pictures , then shop owner want around , called me and said that he will call me next day. Next day shop owner calls me asking if I heard anything from progressive ? I call that guy back , but he went on vacation. Call my first adjuster , she says that the guy who went on vacation concluded that it wasn't related to impact , so they wont pay for anything and I owe 500 for taking down transmission. I called shop owner right away asking if its possible , not being related to impact , he says of course not , otherwise your car wouldn't break after impact. He also said some technical explanation what caused it to break , i just don't know what. he also said that no one ever called him and asked him what was the cause if that. I dealt with progressive in Chicago twice , when i lived there , and i had greatest experience ever , but it seems that in Milwaukee , they are playing games , making me pay , and not taking responsibilities. I figured somebody might know what should I do in this case , I just want them to do what they should do , especially when Im paying 200$ a month.""
