CHANGES TO NOTE:

I's surname has changed to Hoang*

There have been a few minor changes to the ROs

The option for 'default genders' of the ROs has been removed**

With the addition of choosing genders as you meet them.

*When I was initially creating the characters I didn't do enough research that's essentially the reason :)

**While initially it was there as a remnant of the sexuality linked RO genders I have grown to dislike the thought of the ROs being geared to one gender over another, or having a 'set' gender. I view all of them equally as any of their available genders.

finally at that age where i'm thinking i should get a tattoo. not bc i feel strongly about it, just seems like a waste not to. i've got so much skin i'm not using

I wanted to reserve my judgement until I finished watching Steven Universe but now that I have. Why the fuck is there so much discourse. This is literally just a normal kids show. With an insane amount of good queer rep AND erasing gender roles in a way thats still groundbreaking today. Even with the complaint of the series finale being rushed, if you go into it with the knowledge that it got cut short so they had to cram it, that satisfies most of my Media Critique. The way in Knives Out that the entire Thrombey family constantly subjected Marta to racism for years ranging from micro aggressions to outright threats of deportation, that she knew all their fucked up dirty laundry and how they all were constantly exploiting Harlan's wealth, that they excluded her from Harlan's funeral and each blamed everyone else for it, and that they immediately dropped all pretenses of condescending civility when the will was read, yet she spent almost the entire movie sympathetic of them and wanting to gift them the fortune Harlan left her before finally standing up for herself in the last hour

The way in Glass Onion that Helen outright hated the entire "disrupters" group for at least ~10yrs before the movie even took place and made her opinion explicitly known, that her acting as her twin sister being jilted was so easy to maintain because she hated the entire group so much, that she didn't at all humor their extremely conditional "comradery" with her cause against Miles, and that in the end when everything was said and done she didn't stick around to watch them all turn on each other because it didn't matter anymore if they did or didn't

I feel a lot of belief that “trans women obviously have it worse than trans men” it comes from assuming men & women are opposites & that their experiences must be opposite as well. As in, if trans women experience one thing, trans men must experience the opposite—but that’s not how it works in practice. Trans women are demonized and sexualized doesn’t mean trans men aren’t as well. Trans women feeling less safe after transition doesn’t mean trans men feel more safe. And transmasculinity being considered disgusting mutilation doesn’t translate to the opposite for transfemininity! I just wish we would stop comparing experiences as though they can be quantified & pitted against one another.
