The door swings open, and Nick looks up. "Oh, hi!" he says. "You don't usually stop by. Is everything okay?"

"Uh," Luchasaurus says, and the lack of expression in his eyes concerns Nick. "Not to alarm you, all of you," he nods to Adam, "but there's blood everywhere." He pushes the door open more.

"Oh," Nick laughs. "Yeah, Matt got kicked in the face and sneezed blood, like, everywhere."

Luchasaurus grabs his stomach. "Oh, my god. Is he okay?" He makes a weird little noise when he looks at the door. "That's so much blood."

Nick shrugs. "He's probably fine. He gushes like a faucet when he has nosebleeds. I've gotten used to it."

"I - haven't," Luchasaurus says. "I'll - I must be leaving now." He scrambles out of there.

Adam looks over at Nick. "He okay?"

"I don't know," Nick says, and he stands. "I'm gonna..."

"Go," Adam says, nodding. "I'll take care of Carrie over here."

Nick steps over the blood droplets and past the puddle in front of the frame to make his way back to catch up to Luchasaurus. "Lucha!" he calls. "Hey, wait!"

Luchasaurus shoves open a door and Nick follows.

"You should - I have to -" Luchasaurus shoves open a bathroom stall and chucks his mask over the shoulder. Nick catches it as the retching noises start.

"Oh," he says, wrinkling his nose. "You have an issue with blood?"

"Outside of the ring," Lucha says, with a shaky breath. "I can handle it for work. Or when it's mine. But other people's..." He trails off and starts retching again.

Nick shuffles over and rubs Luchasaurus' back. "Want me to get you some water?"

"Yes, please," Lucha mumbles. "You're being awfully kind for someone who isn't my boyfriend."

Nick feels himself turn pink. "I - well, you never asked, but I..." He trails off. He shuffles over to grab a water bottle from the courtesy basket in the bathroom and uncaps it to give to Luchasaurus. "Yeah."

Lucha rinses his mouth and stands. "Thank you, Nick."

Nick nods. "Are you okay?"

Luchasaurus nods. "Come here." He pulls Nick into a hug. "if you wanted to be my boyfriend, you should have asked."

Nick shrugs, burying her face into his chest. "I didn't think you'd want to."

"You chased after me when I was being a big baby over blood," Lucha laughs. "Of course I want to."

They stay there for far too long, until Nick's phone buzzes.

can u come back we need the keys to the rental

"Matt and Adam need to go back to the hotel," Nick says, pulling away from Lucha far enough to see his face. Nick's always thought he's beautiful under the mask. "But, um. If you want some company tonight."

"I would love company tonight." Lucha brushes some hair off of Nicks' shoulder. "I could have my boyfriend take care of me."

The Spider and Starling Headcannon

A/N: Okay I wanted to do a headcannon first then the actual one shot. Hope y'all like it. Like with all my headcannon there's no specific order just some thoughts about this relationship. This is one of my comfort ships that I enjoy reading when I have a chance to read some comics. I hope one day she'll come to life.

Tiana felt very out of place going to school at Vision. She wanted to stay in her old school, but ever since her mother fell ill her distant grandfather has been helping them out.

Miles understanding the feeling would try to be friendly to her. Tiana would be turned off by it at first because of how awkward Miles is.

Miles doesn't know Tiana is Starling. Tiana doesn't know Miles is Spider-Man.

When Tiana is starling she would steal from high-end jewelry stores to help with her mother's medical treatment.

Tiana: "Why are you bothering me?"

Miles: "Because you're stealing and that's wrong."

Tiana: "Cute how about you tell it to some preschoolers."

Think of a cat & mouse type of relationship. Tiana begins to have a slight crush on Spider-Man, but not too big to stop stealing from the rich.

Tiana's favorite color is scarlet.

Tiana and Miles would become friends because they have a project that they have to do. Tiana would get frustrated that Miles keeps flaking on her.

Tiana: "You're hiding something."

Miles (Pointing at himself): "Who me? hiding?"

Tiana (deeply looks at him): "I'll figure it out someday Morales."

f/o who doesn’t know they’re touchstarved until they meet you.

the heavy want grows in their chest and is absolutely undeniably there whenever you two even just briefly touch. when you’re so close that they’re so desperate have you closer, wanting to feel their body pressed against yours in a tight embrace, that the thought of your hand in theirs is barely enough. when you two finally hug, or whenever you do, they sink into your embrace almost immediately, a deep sigh of content heard as they wrap their arms around you to return the tender hug. it’s a little hard to get their arms off you afterward, with those small mumbles of “just a little longer” and “i don’t want to let go yet.”

maybe they’re super embarrassed about feeling so at first and are so glad whenever you indulge in their desire to have you, to feel your warmth. or they’re incredibly stubborn about it but their actions always say otherwise, finding every little chance to have their skin touch yours, to quietly tug on your sleeve or any other sign that you immediately know what they want with it.

eitherway they’re forever thankful that you’re so understanding. with the little touches you guys end up doing like from simply pushing a strand of hair behind an ear or running fingers through each other’s hair, they’re absolutely addicted. smitten, even, so incredibly much that they can’t put their love for this, for you into words.

So. pretty sure the emperor cusses. just. never had the reason to say out loud. or has a filter on when they talk. Until Greygold happened. You ever try and look with the emperor's perspective when Tav makes decisions and go, 'H-how are you not ceaselessly cussing like a sailor at Tav?'

ANYWAY- HERE'S THE THING. TRULY. Always had my squinty-eyed caution on Emps. Trying to ascertain if they were for real with their words/actions/intentions or not. but.
