I love trans people whose transness means that their sexuality is complex. I love trans people who adopt contradictory labels. I love transmasculine people who still have ties to old lesbian spaces and transfeminine people who still have ties to gay spaces (even if they themselves aren't lesbian or gay). I love trans people whose dysphoria has put them at a place where they don't want to engage with any type of sexuality. I love trans people who are confused, unsure, or questioning. I love trans people who toe the lines of queerness. I love trans people who are unapologetically embracing their sexualities. I love trans people who are working through internalized shame about their sexualities.

wrestling fic writers!!
i have decided to be the change i wanna see, so lets do a nice little thing for each other, as a community full of incredible and talented writers. yes this is writer specific only, but thats cause thats where the main problem of people not interacting with creative works lies in this fandom as far as i can tell and have seen people talking about it especially in the last couple of months
if you read this, please add links to your written works. it can be just a single fic youre really proud of, your writing blog, your writing tag, your ao3 account, anything where your works can be found
and if you leave your link here, PLEASE check out someone else that has left their works, and interact with them. leave them a comment, even just a kudos, REBLOG their fic, etc. interacting is the keyword i want to emphasize here, along with building a sort of a masterpost of where to find people writing in this fandom
and if you are not a writer, youre still highly encouraged to interact with this post and share it and show love to the writers in this fandom, obviously!! i think that should go without saying, but adding it in anyways
a bit more about my vision and resources and such under the read more, but thats the gist of it. happy linking and please be kind and supportive to each other!! 💜
nobody is too big or too small to add their things on this list. if you write and post anything in this fandom whatsoever, be it fics or drabbles or headcanons, any companies or any kind of ships or reader inserts or any content whatsoever no matter how 'dead dove dont eat' or hell even if its just meta, we welcome all here and nobody can say that one thing is less valid than another. just please tag your content accordingly, especially if theres content warnings, and feel free to mention what you write, who you write, any info you wish to leave that would help people before they click on your links. but even so, that should not and hopefully will not deter people from interacting, no matter what it is. someones trash is another ones treasure, i promise you
and unless the amount gets really overwhelming, im personally going to be checking out everyone that leaves something here. unless it squeaks me out, but even then, i'll spread the word. and i just wish as many people as possible will do the same, and not just use this as a potential board to only get eyes on their stuff. ofc thats also the point, but you should give as much, if not more, than you get. we need to be kind and supportive of one another (besides, from personal experience, if you show love to someone else, they are more likely to do it back than without you taking the first step, so... pay it forward)
as for resources, heres a few links that should be helpful in leaving comments and feedback. of course everyone does their own thing and no comment is too big or too small to leave, but for those who need them. if you have anything you'd like added to this list, dont hesitate to get in touch or drop it in the post yourself!!
101 comment starters
ao3 floating comment box
kudos html
dont know how to comment? easy solutions
a quick hot guide to commenting (by yours truly)
an overall guide to appreciating fanfic writers
and just in general.. leave people comments. leave them asks about their projects. just go over and gush about their work. i know it sounds embarrassing but writers love nothing more than to hear that someone likes what they are doing. if you find a fic that hasnt been updated in forever, comment on it. it might just be the spark the author needs to continue. while kudos and likes are nice, and just as valuable to some, its definitely in the words the people leave for them that matter the most. im not saying this to put pressure on anyone, its just how it is, and i feel like unless people are writers themselves, and even then sometimes, thats just hard to grasp, especially if the writer is a smaller and less popular one who doesnt get a lot of traffic in the first place
i think thats all. just be nice and considered to everyone, reblog peoples works, this post with others add ons and so forth. and if i find anyone talking shit here or at other writers for something they share, you'll be blocked and im probably taking your kneecaps. be fucking nice. we are all struggling here and we need to stick together
happy sharing and commenting 💜💜

That fic from Akutagawa's pov that remarked how although Dazai had left a bomb under Chuuya's car, at least that showed he had thought about him before going, while he never cared enough to spare a thought for Akutagawa.

The Secret Other Thing: KILL
This is my eighth post in a series I’ll be making on how to increase biodiversity on a budget! I’m not an expert--just an enthusiast--but I hope something you find here helps!
Tumblr media
KILL, TEAR, RIP, MAIM.
You may have seen this sentiment a few times on gardening and wildlife blogs and been incredibly confused. Isn’t killing things the opposite of what you should be doing to protect habitats? In some cases, it really is necessary!
Invasive Plants
Invasive plants can do more harm than good, taking up space and nutrients and providing little in return to local wildlife--while spreading and choking out the native plants that would provide the most to our native fauna. Learn how to identify invasive species in your area and how to properly dispose of them, and do so whenever you have the opportunity! You may even be able to find volunteer groups/events where you can join up with like-minded people to remove a specific plant from an area.
Tumblr media
(This image refers to the United States specifically--these plants aren't invasive or native everywhere!)
Pro tip, though; if you take out an invasive species and leave empty soil where it was, it’s likely another quick-growing invasive species will just move in. We don’t want that! Try to plant something in its place! If you’re going out on a mission to take out invasive plants, try to keep some native flower seeds or seedlings on your person while you do this work.
Different plants are invasive in different places, so be sure that the plant you're targeting is actually invasive to where you are. You don’t want to rip out a beneficial plant because it’s invasive somewhere else! Social media sites like Instagram and Tumblr are great for spreading information about invasive plants, but they can often be a bit… US-centric. Even I'm guilty of this, plenty of times! Plants like garlic mustard, kudzu, butterfly bush, Amur honeysuckle, wild radish, and Japanese knotweed are high-profile invasive plants that I hear about all the time here in America--but they came from somewhere, and are a part of the environment in these places! Likewise, many plants that are branded as pollinator-friendly and biodiversity boosters here in the states can be awful invasive species elsewhere. Even plants and animals that aren’t invasive in one part of a country or continent can be detrimental in another--Canadian waterweed is native to North America, but it’s actually invasive in Alaska.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Japanese honeysuckle (Lonicera japonica) vs Coral honeysuckle (Lonicera sempervirens) vs the yellow variety of Coral honeysuckle (Lonicera sempervirens))
Be sure you’re taking out the right plant--be very confident in your ID before you take any action! Amur honeysuckle and Japanese honeysuckle, for example, may be invasive in the US--but coral and northern bush honeysuckles are native and key species in their environments. You don’t want to do harm while trying to do good--double check your IDs. Being certain with your IDs can also prevent you from doing harm to yourself and others--some plants produce toxic smoke when burned. Stay well-read on how to dispose of the invasive plants you’re targeting.
Tumblr media
(Garlic mustard pesto! Can't say I've ever had it, but I've heard good things about it online!)
With that being said! Some invasive species can be eaten. It’s free food! And you’re helping the environment? Win-win! Try looking up recipes that use these plants, or see how you can substitute something else for them! Foraging guides and blogs would likely be extremely helpful for this.
A super easy way to help curb the spread of invasive plants is to not grow them yourself! Double check any plant you’re considering buying or growing from seed--some sold in stores like butterfly bush are often touted as great plants to add to a pollinator garden, but in reality are an invasive species that eagerly displaces native shrubs here in the states.
Tumblr media
POV: you're working the garden center at the Blue Big Box Store, you care about the environment, and every day you watch people buy Butterfly Bush and can do jack shit about it asides from try to gently steer them towards something else (but the other next best option was also Invasive Tropical Milkweed because its easier for Big Box Store to sell) I have a personal vendetta against people who grow Butterfly Bush (I live in The States) (If you didn't know Butterfly Bush was invasive in the US before now you're valid but also please god consider replacing it with an alternative ASAP)
Invasive Animals
Tumblr media
POV 30 to 50 feral hogs are running into your yard within 3-5 minutes while your small children play
Invasive animals and insects compete for resources, take over habitat, and can even spread disease--all while pushing native species out or dwindling their numbers. Keep track of invasive animals you see and report them. Depending on the severity of the situation, killing them can be necessary and even encouraged. Do be sure it’s an invasive species and not a look-alike. If you’re unsure, take pictures, do research, and take action the next time.
Some high-profile invasive species in the US are spotted lanternflies, cuban tree frogs, hammerhead worms, feral swine, zebra mussels, lionfish, asian carp, burmese python, and others. Again, do make sure you’re targeting species that are invasive in your area; I doubt Asian carp are considered invasive in Asia, for example. Similarly, the American bullfrog is native to the eastern US and Canada, but is quickly becoming an invasive species around the rest of the world. Not to mention, the racoon problem in Japan…
Tumblr media
Some invasive species can be eaten as well! Some of them taste awful, and some can even be dangerous to eat or handle without caution. I would do a good amount of research online before trying to cook up just anything.
Doing it Right
If you’re trying to handle invasive species, you do have to ensure you’re doing it properly. As you do your research, you’ll likely see if the species should be photographed and reported and to what channels. Also in some cases, going about destroying them incorrectly could unintentionally help them spread--some plants spread quickly through rhizomes into disturbed soil, and hammerhead worms can actually regenerate from pieces into fully-developed new worms when you try to cut them up. Some invasive species are even actively harmful to humans, so I cannot emphasize enough that you need to be sure about what you’re dealing with and be careful about it. Giant Hogweed, for example, has toxic sap that’ll cause severe skin inflammation and painful blisters if it contacts skin and is exposed to sunlight. The blisters last for months, and the skin may develop long-term sensitivity for sunlight.
If you’re unsure about how to handle an invasive plant, or are unsure of it’s identity, try contacting your local university co-op extension service if you’re in the states. They can tell you how to remove it safely and effectively. I can't say for sure what other channels would be the best option for someone living outside the states, so if anyone knows, feel free to chime in!
Pets
Tumblr media
POV: ur little outdoor kitty Firestar is destroying the balance of your local ecosystem plz keep him INSIDE
Please keep your pets inside, or at least on a leash. An outdoor cat can do a lot more damage than one might imagine, as well as unrestrained dogs.
That’s the end of this post! And... technically, the last post in the series! My next and final final post is gonna be basically a giant list of all my sources that I used to make this post! I hope this post series was informative, helpful, interesting--anything of value, really! Feel free to reply with any questions, your success stories, or anything you think I may have forgotten to add in!

re:hbomberguy, on the topic of citing sources, i want to say:
it is insane how many people on here don't even click the sources op links on their own post to learn more and just hit reblog saying "oh my i didn't know about this thank you for teaching me!". like guys CLICK THE LINK!! CHECK THE NOTES!!! CHECK THE SOURCE!.... i swear half the time the link is dead or takes you to a nonsense page (i see this a lot with art specifically???? and excerpts from magazines??) and some times the linked source disproves a claim the very post that linked it made and people just. don't bother to check, no one bothers to even reblog saying "hey that link is dead! here's a new, working link!" or "hey that link doesn't work, can you link the source again?" and when it comes to misinformation people just share without checking or looking at the notes where numerous people will (in the best case scenario) already be pointing out the misinformation
"OH BUT I CAN'T CHECK EVERYTHING I SEE ON THE INTERNET" there is a surefire way to prevent spreading this kind of stuff even if you don't have the time to fact check immediately. just accept it's fine to save a post for later if you can't look deeper into it right now!!!!! literally just reblog it in private or save the post as a draft so you can come back to it later and check. it won't kill you and in fact it will actually make your life a lot better lol

Hello. I'm wondering if you know of any fics where Harry offers a few hours or a day with him at a charity auction or something, and it's Draco who ends up winning the auction. It could be in the Hogwarts era or post-war.
Hi there, Nonnie! \(^▽^@)ノ
There's really only one that I can recall off the top of my head, but it's a fantastic one!
Buy A Heart by xErised
Summary:
Draco's cock hardens as he looks at the invitation to the charity auction; his golden ticket to one wild night of desperate sex with Potter to get rid of this inexplicable obsession. His heart whispers that one night will never be enough, but Draco is beyond caring. All he knows is that he will pay any price to have Potter over and over again.
I hope you enjoy this one! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

Fwhip was right; Jimmy was thrilled to see Scott.
Or he was once he realized the elf was there, anyway. Jimmy practically dragged himself into the dining room moments after the table was set, smelling of the cold wind that must have been the cause of his reddened cheeks. There was a dampness to his hair that made Scott wonder if snow flurries had begun to fall on the surface. Instead of taking a seat at the table Jimmy crawled into Fwhip's lap, draping over him in a tangle of wings and long limbs and a tired sigh.
"Long day?" asked Fwhip, brushing fingers through Jimmy's hair, then yelped when Jimmy's answer was to press his cheek into Fwhip's neck. "Cold!"
Jimmy smirked, then laughed when Fwhip grabbed his wrist to prevent a cold hand sneaking up the back of his tunic. "But Fwhip, I'm coooold," he pleaded. "Warm me up."
"Later," promised Fwhip. "Have some dinner first. Is everything done on the surface?"
"It is. Repairing that fence was the last thing we needed to do," said Jimmy. "I shouldn't be needed up there again until spring. Do I smell sunflower seeds?" He turned and reached to remove the cover from a dish of roasted vegetables, but stopped and stared when he realized he and Fwhip weren't alone in the room.
Scott smiled. "Hi Jimmy. Pumpkin seeds, too. Fwhip toasted them while I made a vinaigrette for the - oof - "
In a flash Jimmy was out of Fwhip's lap and had his arms tightly around Scott while delighted chirps spilled from his throat. "Scott! How are you here? Did Fwhip finally pardon you?"
"Finally?" Scott returned Jimmy's embrace and gave Fwhip a questioning look across the table.
"Yeah, I've been asking him for ages to - "
"He isn't pardoned, Jimmy," said Fwhip. "Don't give me that look. But I am allowing him to finish his sentence here; I'm assigning him as your companion."
"What's that supposed to mean? You make it sound like you got a pet for your pet or something." Jimmy nosed against Scott's cheek the same way he often did as a bird before taking his own seat at the table. "He's my friend, not something to be assigned."
"He's a prisoner, and one I've already been lenient with," said Fwhip as he began dipping food onto his plate. "He got a very light sentence for a thief, you know that."
"After you left him in the cages with no word for almost a year," said Jimmy, reaching for a slice of bread. An unhappy look crossed Fwhip's face, and Scott got the impression that it wasn't the first time the king had been subjected to having this conversation with his canary.
"If you don't want him around, I can have him assigned back to the mines to finish his sentence," said Fwhip.
Jimmy almost dropped his butter knife. "Don't you dare," he snapped. "But did you even ask him if he - "
"'He' is in the room, and is perfectly happy with the situation," said Scott. He had only been out of the mines for a couple of hours, and his chest tightened painfully at the thought of being sent back already. "I'm grateful for King Fwhip's kindness and consideration, Jimmy. Please don't be upset with him."
"'Kindness and consideration'!?" Jimmy's brow was furrowed with frustration and his feathers were beginning to puff out. "You've been punished more than enough for that stupid statue! You deserve your freedom!"
"You had a long day, and you're getting cranky because you're tired and hungry," said Fwhip. "We can talk about this later, after you have your dinner and some rest."
"Don't do that," said Jimmy. "I hate it when you do that."
"I'm only saying - "
"I know damn well what you're saying. Shut up."
Scott's eyes flickered between Fwhip and Jimmy as the two stared one another down. "Suit yourself," said Fwhip after a moment, and turned his attention to Scott's still empty plate. "Here, how did the seasoning on this turn out?"
Fwhip served Scott a slice of pork tenderloin before adding a heaping serving of vegetables next to it. Scott glanced at Jimmy uncertainly, concerned about the tightness that lingered in his jaw and the feathers that still stood on end, but cut into the herb-encrusted meat at Fwhip's expectant look.
He could have cried the moment he tasted it. Fragrant parsley and garlic and dill layered nicely with the smokey and tender meat. The seasoning wasn't balanced in exactly the same ratio he would have done it, but it was delicious nonetheless. Scott chewed slowly, unable to resist closing his eyes or letting his ears twitch in joy. After years of stale bread and stews made with scraps and unskilled hands, the tenderloin Fwhip had prepared was the most decadent dish he could ever remember tasting.
"It's delicious," said Scott after he swallowed and opened his eyes again. "...What?"
Jimmy and Fwhip were both staring at him. "You're really beautiful when you're happy," said Jimmy, and Fwhip nodded in agreement.
Scott's ears went pink. "Well, thank you, I suppose," he said, trying to pretend the way they looked at him didn't make his heart flutter.
Between Jimmy's fatigue from his farmwork, Scott's lingering discomfort from the abrupt change to his situation, and Fwhip's contemplation of his upcoming journey, conversation was light as the three of them ate dinner. Jimmy was just finishing his slice of cake when Fwhip reached for his hand and gave it a small squeeze.
"I'm sorry," he said so quietly that even Scott almost didn't hear it. "I wasn't trying to patronize you earlier."
Jimmy narrowed his eyes and gave Fwhip a long look, then squeezed his hand in return just as the goblin was beginning to look uncertain. "I guess I forgive you," he said with a smile. "I'm sorry I got defensive."
Fwhip grinned and pulled Jimmy's hand up to kiss it, and Jimmy leaned over to kiss Fwhip's cheek. "I bet you do feel better after eating, though, huh?"
"Shut up," said Jimmy, but the rustle of his wings was relaxed rather than irritated. He looked over when Scott tried to bite back a yawn, and got to his feet. "You look exhausted. I'll show you to your room. Fwhip, where is he staying?"
"The room next to yours," said Fwhip, and Scott tried not to read too much into how happy Jimmy looked about it. "Feel free to sleep in as long as you want," Fwhip said to Scott. "If I don't see you before I leave - "
"No, please have someone wake me," said Scott. "I'd like to see you off, if that's all right."
"Okay," said Fwhip, and Scott happily returned the king's smile. "Good night, Scott."
Scott bowed and bid Fwhip good night before following Jimmy to his new room. "I can't wait to show you around," said Jimmy eagerly. "There's a library, and a little museum, and all sorts of things in the marketplace, and even though it's started snowing I can still take you to the surface to see the village."
The way Jimmy smiled at him already had Scott breathless enough, but the thought of fresh air and sunshine made him ache with longing. "Are you sure that will be allowed?" he asked hesitantly. "All he really said was that I was to accompany you or stay in the house, but I assumed the surface would be off-limits."
"Don't you worry about that," said Jimmy. "It'll be fine. Besides, if he's going to leave me for three whole months then he doesn't get a say in where I can or can't take you."
"Goodness, I've been commanded to stay at the side of someone so handsome for three months? I feel like I'm being tested," teased Scott, and smiled when Jimmy's ears reddened. Jimmy smiled back, and their hands found one another naturally; Scott couldn't say which of them moved first. Maybe they both had.
"I'm glad you're here," said Jimmy softly. "It will be nice to see you all the time instead of a few minutes here and there." He pulled Scott into a hug, and Scott leaned into him happily. "Good night, Scott. I'm just next door if you need anything."
"Good night," said Scott, and braved a kiss to his canary's Jimmy's cheek. "See you in the morning."

okay i'm going to be nicer to totk for real now *deletes most of my drafts*
#bwark#god i'm fucking trying to have some kind of epiphany here where i can have it all click and be like ''even if i have my problems i can still#get enjoyment out of it'' but this game makes it so damn difficult#''i can discuss the story'' wait nope can't. story sucks ass and butt#''what about the exploration? that was the best part of botw'' uh no can't do that when the surface is practically the same and there's no#substance to the sky or the depths#''gameplay?'' i don't like ultrahand. which sucks when that's 90% of the gameplay#i respect the work that must've gone into it and the creativity it's drawn from fans but making one gameplay aspect literally ALL YOU DO#runs the risk of alienating people who can't get behind#and sure other zelda games have their gimmicks but it's different#like take tp for example. i get that the wolf mechanic isn't for everyone. but aside from the early game twilight sections and a few sparse#puzzles in the later game you're never really forced to play as wolf so it doesn't overstay its welcome#god i just remembered that totk turned wolf link into meat chunks. another thing they took from us 😔#actually on that genuinely why couldn't they just bring him back?#like you're reusing a ton of shit from botw anyway??#which brings me back to my main point is that anything that isn't new is just. botw again#shrines are back but they're uglier. dungeons are the divine beasts but in a new coat of paint#why did they add more shrines to the game anyway? like you'd think they'd at least lower the number because fans didn't want them to return#the SINGULAR leg up i can think of id the bosses. yeah i love botw and i'll hold my hands up and say that a lot of the common complaints for#it don't bother me personally but yeah the blights absolutely sucked#divebombing colgera with the dragon roost theme playing was the closest thing that this game came to giving me an experience#okay i'll shut up now I'M GOING TO BE NICE EVEN IF IT KILLS ME
