ive got one that im writing now that was originally based on a silly short premise but like. its no longer short and no longer silly. its now two chapters, absorbed another half baked wip i was writing and no one is having a fun time

He ain’t sure how he came across it. He didn’t have any plans on leaving the city tonight. There was a song back home and a girl without a dancing partner he let slip by, for no other reason than his own restlessness. He ain’t sure what he wanted to accomplish from wandering out in the dark, though he rarely has a plan for nights like these. He never sets out to discover something. Just got the urge to get lost on some old road that hasn’t been driven in years. It’s something that takes hold of him sometimes, and only tends to be remedied by indulging the habit. So, yeah, the body is a surprise.

the unexpected aspec experience of opening up a word document to write more pages for an ~adult~ fic, happily writing a little bit, and then suddenly being completely uninterested in the subject material anymore. 0/10 very inconvenient, finishing this fic will take forever at this rate

hi! i was wondering do you think sirius’ jealousy could ever start to feel maybe overbearing to remus? to the point where it causes trust issues or fights or maybe even a temporary break bw them? esp during the hogwarts years where sirius is more maybe insecure/angry/immature

hi hi!! this is a really interesting question. on here i do tend to overstate sirius' jealousy purely because i think its funny and i love remus and i think sirius should be losing his mind over his normal average boyfriend at all times BUT i also truly believe that to some extent he would get pretty jealous over remus and sometimes he might be a bit of an arse bc of that. i mentioned this before but its relevant here too--as you say, when he's younger and less mature + aware of the consequences his immaturity can have especially regarding remus (see: the prank), i imagine that there is a worry that remus will just get tired of it all. of him. particularly in light of the prank, i reckon thats a real concern of sirius', having already had to essentially win remus back once (well, depending on how you imagine that played out).

as for the consequences of this!! i'm not as decided. i think with time it is something sirius grows out of (at least partially) n while it could cause fights when they're younger, i struggle to tell if remus could really break up with him. if he did, it'd be a v short and pathetic breakup and sirius would grovel a bit and it wouldnt take much for him to be forgiven. i dont really think its ever an issue of sirius not trusting remus, as much as its sirius fearing that he will end up inadvertently giving remus a reason to break up with him for someone he considers less 'hard work'. again, though, feels difficult to imagine remus doing that with any degree of finality. he's perilously + dangerously in love with sirius, whether sirius understands that or not. even if seventh year might be a bit of an on-again-off-again situation for them, theres no danger of either of them ever really being done with each other.

#im nobodys-empiring on main again but when they keep referencing how remus broke up w sirius n started dating someone else #in seventh year for a bit because sirius just couldnt get his act together. if they were to truly break up thats the sort of situation #i imagine occurring. maybe it needs to happen once for sirius to get his arse in gear n grow up a little idk #remus is the more mature of the two i can say with some confidence. but i dont think his approach to sirius is ever going to be that #mature or rational. in the wip if he was being rational abt the prank he would simply break up with sirius for good lol its a bit of a #damning incident its like pretty easy to see that. so i also dont want to give him too much credit regarding his maturity either #any break up would b more to like. teach sirius a lesson or smthn than a genuine attempt to move on with his life with someone else #the long and short of it is that he loves being loved by sirius. which seems to come above almost everything else. including common sense #anon #telegram

Im back!!

So things have slowed down! So I’ll try to write the second chapter of ‘His Favorite Alibi’ either tonight or over the weekend! Expect it sometime between Friday 4/19 and Monday 4/22! Also my birthday is sometime in the last week of April (not comfortable saying when) and since I love writing and drawing, I’m going to be posting a drawing of all characters that will be involved in my AU fanfic (including ones yet to be shown ^^) sometime then! It’s a sketch currently and I’m not sure if it’s better colored or not. May post one earlier and the other on my birthday with a bonus character from HH in human form that you guys vote for to draw and possibly incorporate into the story! Going to post the WIP bellow. I’m not super happy with my Alastor and Vox. Deffo could have done better so I’m going to put a lot more time into this one!

I don’t know how I would make Lucifer and Charlie work. Like they still need to be themselves and they don’t have past lives. Maybe like characters loosely based off their personalities? Or maybe they just like hiding on earth idk. If you vote those please explain how you think they would be there…

oh dear lord it's been another year. 2024! can you believe it! i don't talk much on this blog because i have a tendency to talk too much, but it's my little new year's treat, so here we go.

RECAP

i started taking drawing "seriously" in December of 2020, starting to do studies and stuff, and each year since i've ramped it up more and more. this year, i did. a lot of studies. there's probably like at least 200 more in my folder now (not including the 300 days worth of gesture drawings i did), with things like painting, faces, feet, poses, etc. anything i was struggling with, i went right into studying it. my art has been mediocre for a pretty long time now, and it's only the past few months where i feel i'm starting to get the hang of it, which is exciting!

more importantly, i started posting a lot more on this blog. i really like documenting my progress, looking on where i was before and seeing how i've improved. everytime i draw some fanart, im like, oooghh i can't wait to show my (: followers (: !! lots of locked tomb art of course. i've been trying to nail the energy of the different characters, which is why i enjoy books so much, because you get a lot of creative control. drawing ianthe is my fav of course, cause she's my lil nasty, but also i enjoyed doing designs for characters i hadnt thought about before, like judith.

in addition to the locked tomb, we had some new fandoms that got brief moments in between iantheposting: Fear and Hunger, Postal, Faith The Unholy Trinity, and a couple of old ones too, like We Have Always Lived In The Castle and The Merciless.

i posted about 115 times this year, although most of those are shitposts LOL i love posting stuff on my blog and showing people my stuff <3

THE FUTURE

my plans? do more ianthe art, of course. ill be working on more studies, probably going to work on developing a style, and figuring out how to paint. i'd like to do more actually finished pieces, but let's be honest, it'll still be mostly shitpost doodles. i'd like to do more weird stuff. i've been messing around with some gore and NSFW near the end of the year, and it's fun to draw for me. i like idk art that evokes some type of emotion, especially discomfort, and so i find that type of art fun to do, so if you don't enjoy what i've done thus far in that direction, perhaps this isn't the blog for you. i really like horror media, and so i want to do some stuff like that too.

for specifics, i like western type art, a comic book-esque style i'd like to aim for. but i'd like it to be a little more. weird with it. i find comic books often draw all the characters the same, and make all the characters traditionally attractive, and that's boring to me so i'll have to work on finding a way to keep things weird, while also appealing in a graphic sense. the worst thing my art could be is bland and forgettable.

locked tomb wise... more tridentarii art. need to be really weird with it. i have lots of wips planned, like i have a whole page worth of just thumbnails, so i wanna get some of those done. also i had a few animatics i wanted to do. mostly stupid shit, once i learn how to do animatics, then we'll do actual serious ones. id also like to do more comics. i have some comics storyboarded out with my girlies, i like telling a story so, need practice on that. id also like to develop a way to consistently draw them, for convenience sakes, so i'm not fighting for my life every single time i draw these characters. oh and i wanna do some outfit stuff. i draw them in like. generic clothes everytime but i'd like to come up with a few actual outfit designs, that i can just reference back to. and, of course, more shitposts. lots of stupid shit in 2024 for sure. there was something else i wanted to say here but i can't remember.

began this year by warming up with gesture sketches (almost) every day. i started with 20 poses (30 seconds each), and then in november i was like. ugh my hands suck i need to get better at hands, so i switched to doing 10 hand sketches (60 seconds each). i want my art to be very energetic so it's important that i do these !!

anatomy studies of extremities because i'm flopping at those -_- ive gotten better with hands but they're still a struggle. i hate feet tho still

need to get my painting game up. i joined an art forum to get advice, and the biggest suggestion i got was working on my values, so i did various value studies. also lots of faces because my faces flop !!

random doodles to work on drawing from imagination. on my "sketchbook" pages, as i like to call them, i'm usually pretty loose and messy, since the point is just to be drawing so often these will suck, but that's fine. i don't think very much when i draw faces on here either so they end up being in my Instinctive Style i suppose you could say

ianthe wip. i was planning to do a few drawings based on the idea of her having Missing Arm nightmares, but the lineart was intimidating to me so i haven't worked on this one more yet /: also there was going to be a toontown gay homosexual toxic yuri comic that i was gonna put here with it but the page is way too long so umm guess that'll have to wait.

these are all super old doodles (and a wip) except for the Dia and Born one which is from yesterday!!

basically this AU revolves a lot around music, as someone who really loves music. I want to say that the characters are all in Music school or maybe Art school so that it can include other characters’ interests like Red Beryls love for fashion and tailoring.

This idea came to me when I was listening to rock (more specifically Queen) and I started envisioning Phos’s moon group as a band! At first consisting of all the gems that went with Phos to the moon, with the exception of Goshen since they never really stuck around for much and were just doing their own thing LOL. Ofc this means that Dia later on breaks off from the band to become an idol like in the manga. Also Padpa plays tthe piano and as a former piano player that’s important for me to say. I have most of that arc envisioned and back when I first thought of the AU I had wanted to execute it with animatics, which im still kind of considering!

I also assigned each of Phos’s phases songs, which I can delve into in another post. Going back in time a little to the beginning, I imagine that partnerships are kind of like bands too , and duos and stuff. Like for example Dia and Bort are a duo and they make music togetherr :3 and they have little matching pendants because idk I thought it was cute. Anyways tho I was thinking maybe Phos just lives around this school at the very beginning of this AU and wants to join a band or just join them in making music, but they haven’t gotten accepted into the school and the other gems see them as inexperienced. Btw Antarc is the one who starts to teach Phos about music similarly to how they started winter duties together. Also I love Phos and Antarc so there might be a lot of focus on them in this AU.

Opinions on characters: Kiryuu Nanami, Saionji Kyouichi, Tatsuki Shiori

Thank you for the ask! Im guessing its for the ask game(the general opinion is included so yeah) Sorry i didnt answer until now😅

Kiryuu Nanami

General opinion: She is everything to me. Her mere existance confirme half of my theories about Anthy and Akio.

She is a queen. She didnt deserve this.

The reason she isnt in the movie is because she realised the truth about Ohtori in time and when things started to go back to their bad nature she was able to leave.

She is the perfect first character to find out about Akio's abuse because she lived with one of his victims, he ruined her life in-directly and was about to make her another one of his victims. Her character and story are perfect, i would change nothing about her.

(i have a big post about her, Anthy and Shadow Girls to write so stay tuned for that)

A ship i love: i cant decide if i like the idea that Nanami is aromantic or a lesbian(so probably both) and i dont have a ship with her i realy love. I like Nanami x Kozue a bit, mostly for the parrallels, but i have my own problems with Kozue(which is its own topic), so im not sure how much i actualy ship it. But then again, most of my Rgu Ships go under "after 15 years of therapy they can actualy date", so... Who know.

A non-romantic relationship i love: her friendship with Utena and Anthy and her friendship with Saionji. I wish she got a chance to apologize to Anthy once they were both in a good place and far away from their brothers. For Saionji, i hope they got to meet after he left Ohtori with Juri and Miki. If he grew as a person(which is necessery for escapong Ohtori) he would be a great big brother. Also, the egg episode realy sells me the idea he is her brother figure. "No appreciation for brotherly advice".

A NOTP: Nanami x Touga and Nanami x Akio(OBVIOUSLY). I havent seen anyone ship it and GOOD. That is a one way ticket to hell. I Also dont like Nanami x Saionji, but thats mostly personal opinion cuz i see them as siblings. Might Also be the age gap but idk.

My biggest headcanon about them: as i said, SHE LEFT THE OHTORI NOT LONG AFTER THE SERIES FINALE! She is also an animal person but is not used to them because of her family(cats trigger he trauma too). Once she and Anthy make up, BECAUSE THEY WILL, Anthy  lets her spend time with her animal friends, maybe even helps her adopt an animal of her own.

An idea for fanfiction: Nanami meeting with everyone from Ohtori after they escape, exploring their relationships once they arent under control of their abusers.

(this one is in my WIPs, i Just have to finish it) Weed bride. Anthy and Nanami smoke blunts together along with everyone else. They Also take over Ohtori. I dont wanna spoil anything.

Something that makes me think of them:

Songs "Oh no!" and "Family jewels" by Marina and the diamonds, "allies or Enemies"(about her and Touga) and "Take me to War" by crane wives. And a few more but this is on the top of my mind.

Kyouichi Saionji

General opinion: He was the perfect first antagonists for the series. He is so pathetic, no one takes him seriusly, which is a perfect foil to Akio being adored and trusted by many characters.

He most likely isn pure evil as he is still a child, but he should defenetly be taken responsible for his actions(abuse of Anthy).

A ship i love: touga x Saionji but ONLY AFTER 20, NO, 40 YEARS OF THERAPY! They both hurt each other, they should solve their problems. I wish we saw Saionji's Thoughts about Touga in the movie, but hey, we cant have everything.

A non-romantic relationship that i love: as i said, he would make a great brother to Nanami. As i doubt either of them will ever see Touga again, they could help each other with the trauma. Saionji defenetly has family problems, everyone does in Ohtori.

I also like his friendship with Wakaba, i dont ship them tbh. I feel like she can put him in his place with ease(she beat Utena up as a petty joke).

Not realy a positive relationship, but his rivalry with Utena is very intresting. He is like a trashy version of her. Their straight love intrests are each other's real crushes, but they project. This would all be solved if the world wasnt homophobic. I want them to fight, middle-school-girl style cuz Saionji would get his ass handed to him.

A NOTP: saionji x Akio (OBVIOUSLY) and Saionji x Nanami (again, its just my personal preference)

My biggest headcanon about them: he projected Touga onto Anthy. Thats what kinda stings about how he treated her. Its obvious that relationship was going nowhere, but he never even liked her for her and so it was Just cruel.

He feels as if he isnt good enough for people around him and was at some point jealous about Touga's relationship with Akio cuz it seemed like Touga was so much more mature that he was getting attention of another adult.(angsty i know, but its based on reality)

A fanfic idea: him and Nanami meeting again(as you can see, im very normal a out them)

Maybe an AU where he and Touga dont go so off the edge ti become the pricks they are in the canon and instead Run away with Nanami and live as a little family(THIS SHOW HURT ME, OKAY)

In weed bride, Anthy wrecks his shit cuz he was with Touga and she was about to end Touga so obviously he will get some too. (that fic is Just pure crack)

Tatsuki Shiori

Something that Reminds me of them: tbh i cant think of anything right now.

General opinion: gurlfailiure. I love her. Just another child in a cruel world. She only had the worst adults to look up to and so she hurt the Ones she loved the most. She has room to grow and redeemed herself, she is only a child after all.

I think her place in the movie was great because of that. (i think her role was methaphore for what happend after the series finale, Just like with everyone else)

A ship that i love: i like Juri x Shiori and kinda Shiori x Kozue(both girls are disasters) but i wouldnt say i love either of those. Again, years of therapy, then they can get bitches.

A non-romantic relationship i love: not sure

Maybe her relationship with Touga cuz i dont see it as a real romance. I like it for the narrative(its not realy healthy) and how we found out a lot about Touga trough it.

I think her relationship with Ruka was a perfect example of an older guy messing with a younger girl. Toxic and cruel.

My biggest headcanon about them: she is queer and full of internalised homophobia. She loved Juri but she is Just another pawn in Akio's game and so she could do nothing but hurt her. I dont think they made up after the end of the movie, im not even sure Shiori escaped, so idk if they even met after.

She liked Touga less because he is a prince and more because he is like a rose bride(like her, in a way) but is not a girl so its fiiine(side eye).

an exploration of the bounds of venus by disloyalorder. this might be the only top patrick pure joetrick smut on ao3 (that i found well-written enough to save at least <3). it’s got a heavy dose of mommy kink/mommy dom stuff so i guess if that’s not ur thing then u really will have to stay tuned for my fic ;) haha

wasted summer by terriblewritings. shoutout to the author for dropping it in my inbox!!! it has the mommy kink too and a liiiiiiittle talk of weight just in an appreciative way idk but a warning; it’s toppy patrick in the sense of dom patrick bc there’s no penetration, but it’s rly good!!! author says there might be more coming too ;3

token by gigantic. this one i found on total accident, i had been digging around on this user’s livejournal because they have two PHENOMENAL wentzman fics up (if u want those recs too lmk) but basically this one is joe on a gay sex mission lol, it is explicit but ofc when u get to the goods (aka the JOETRICK SCENE) it's all fade-to-black instead 💔 but still SOOOOO good so unbelievably well written!!!

i had it listed it in the other rec ask, but bdsm by heyginger has a brief mention of joe riding patrick (not explicit smut tho lol) AND of patrick tying joe up so it feels on the toppy patrick side for sure :)

also for good measure, though patrick is not toppy to JOE in these ones, there are two jeterick fics that feature patrick topping pete while joe does stuff to them etc just maybe to scratch a similar itch? lay your head down -- and feel the beat and two's company, three's just right both by likeasugarcube.

There's a Warewolf!Ben AU on the docs and the Balcony AU but I'm no longer writing for borhap. All the wips for FirstPrince, I'm really hopeful Ill eventually finish them.

Plot, outline and dialog.

I have the attention span of a squirrel and Im very self concious. Also I hate describing actions and places, be in my mind and see what I see already.

34) How much of your personal life/experience do you include in your fics?

I do try to use personal life realism when I can. A lot of times it just might be human body knowledge from personal intimate experiences. BUT i have quite a few outrageous funny stories that I have integrated into fic. And I have also included a couple character speeches/personal arguments that actually are ripped from like my husband's mouth or mine or coworkers - because I believe these character would say the same thing (see my Christmas Lewis fic where Hathaway yells about horrible christmas songs).

39) What’s your most self-indulgent wip?

SELF INDULGENT WIP??? Oh off the top of my head it's anything Max/Box and probably the Max/Box Re-Animator au.

55) Have you noticed any patterns in your fics? Words/expressions that appear a lot, themes, common settings, etc?

Hmmm. Well I'm fond of domesticity stuff. Max's cottage probably shows up alot. I def worry that I use too many of the same things in smut but I think thats every smut writer's worry. I also have a tendency to formulate plots that are 'canon - but if I filled in the blanks like they are fucking' - and so I start these long fics of 'in between' times or 'the show BUT WITH EXTRAS'. Of course those do rely on you, the reader, being familiar with the show but ... idk i just need to get it out on paper lol. I've done this with endeavour, im doing with with alan wake and im sort of doing this to some extent with the quarry as well LOL

so many.... a ton live in the dungeon and are indefinitely paused but rn im working on 3 fics (fingers crossed) including patterns 3, sales pitch 3, and stonerverse fics

9. What is the most difficult part of writing to you?

editing! i hate reading my own writing and im impatient. if y'all notice errors in my fics its mostly because i only skim for big issues before posting. idk what it is but i can't make myself focus after a certain point of writing and just need it out of my drafts

13. Name one of your fics that you are proud of.

i already said heart of the sea so ill talk about a different fic im proud of which is in the lake and the bonus. it was very fun and i love fantasy AUs even tho ive taken a break from writing them. anytime i see it come up in my notifs i go back and read it bc i love it so much

I've received a couple asks about the Jaemle series and I do plan on continuing it, I'm just not sure when lollll. I have a bunch of misc. smut ideas I'll be writing at some point. These next few months are super busy for me as I'm hoping to graduate in August this year, but that means I, unfortunately, do not have much writing time.

Somewhere Else - ??? x Reader; lol I'm thinking Mark or Jaemin for this one. They seem to fit the picture in my head more than Chenle for this one unfortunately. Basically just an achingly fluffy piece with some smut in it lol

Stars Aligned - Chenle x Reader; basically Mastermind by Taylor Swift but he for sure knows the whole time and when the relationship becomes public (ex. gets exposed), things start to switch up

Several miscellaneous smuts that just pop into my head randomly. I have like 10 docs of just random smut scenes I haven't completed yet LOL
