Clone^2 Damian

If you really think about, Damian's situation in the clone^2 au is... kinda tragic? Especially in the early months of his arrival. Like,,, think about it. Damian has always known he was a clone of Damian Wayne, that he was a copy of the blood son. There was nothing 'original' about him, not even his name (of which at least Danny has that). He was just... a replacement. A disposable one, to boot.

And he knew that, to an extent, by the time he was six years old. he might not have been actively acknowledging it -- he's six years old -- but deep down he knew. And like, he's six years old. Every small child craves the love and affection of an adult, especially their parents, and even though he knew he was clone, I imagine he still considered - and still does consider, somewhat - Talia and Bruce as his mother and father. And I really doubt he was... getting it?

Now, I know Talia loves Damian, her son. At least in some interpretations she does, and in this au she does. But... a clone of her son? I'm not so certain if she would have the same affection for baby Dames as she would for Damian. I don't think she would treat him badly, but I don't think Talia would treat him warmly either. Kinda just, distant. Colder than she would have been with OG Damian.

And, I know I've mentioned Damian's arrival from Danny's point of view, and its kind of comical kind of insane from his perspective -- a little boy clone of Damian Wayne falls through a portal and immediately attacks him. That sounds like a bad joke.

But, if you think of this from Damian's point of view? It's like he just got dropped into a scary movie. Like, think about it. You're six years old, and suddenly a portal, as green and as swirling as your grandfather's pools, opens up beneath your feet and sucks you through.

After an intense bout of vertigo, you end up in a massive, urban city -- completely different from the rural mountain palace that you lived in for the last six years of your life, and in this city, you don't know any of the language. You don't know what anyone is saying, you can't read any of the signs - you are completely stranded, away from home.

And then, to make things worse, you're facing a figure with a terrifying mask and eyes as burning green as the portal you fell through. Of course Damian's first instinct, six years old, is to attack. He's terrified.

And this figure, he's not a good fighter, but he's fast, and he dodges you quickly. He grabs your sword with his hands, and tries to restrain you, saying something in a language you don't know. Naturally, Damian is just scared. He's six! He'd just be learning how to read if he was normal child going to school.

This figure halfway through the fight yanks off his mask -- he realizes you're scared -- and looking at you now, is a youthful version of your father. This is a clone of your dad, someone you have never met but, six years old, still wants to. Damian gets defensive. This is an imposter.

But this imposter eventually gets you home with him - and he's using his little box, his phone, to communicate with you through a mechanical voice speaking in arabic. and it's frustrating. The boy, the imposter, can say whatever to you just fine, but trying to talk back is a hassle and a half. He's six, he doesn't have that much patience.

He wants to go home.

And so he keeps trying to run away. He keeps trying to find out of this hellish concrete jungle, and he keeps getting lost. It's loud, and busy, and there are people talking to you and you don't understand them, and there are rules and signs you don't understand - Damian tries to cross the street and nearly gets hit by a car. He doesn't know how the road signs work, he was never taught. They didn't get to that.

And he gets lost. And it gets dark, and Damian is brave, but he is six, and this is the worst stress he's been under in all his six years of life. He wants, desperately more than anything, to go home. Why wouldn't he? The only stable... semi-stable environment he was in just got ripped out from under his feet, literally! He wants his mother.

And it's not happening.

But there's something good to be said, at least. The imposter that looks like his father always comes and finds him, no matter what. He could have left that morning, and he will find Damian at midnight, frazzled and worried, and carrying an extra jacket with him because it is cold in Amity Park and Damian is six years old.

And sometimes Damian attacks him - he's scared and stressed and he doesn't want to be here. And every time he catches the sword. Even though Damian can see it cut into his hand and pearls of blood well up and stains his fingers. Even though Damian can see him wince in pain and bite his lip, he still catches it.

But with that little box, he coaxes Damian to come back with him. It's cold, it's dark, Amity Park is unsafe at night. They can figure something out tomorrow, please. And every time, he agrees, reluctantly. And the imposter takes the extra jacket he brought with -- a flannel, a hoodie, a jacket -- and he wraps it around him. It's warm, Damian's clothes are not that thick, and even though he thinks he might hate this imposter, he still sticks close to his legs as he leads him down the street.

And sometimes the imposter carries him, because Damian's shoes are not that thick, and he cuts his foot on broken glass while they're walking home. The imposter sits in the bathroom with him and carefully cleans the cut out, and makes sure it doesn't get infected.

There's hope you know, he still has it. His mother will be looking for him. She'll be worried. He's important to them. Damian may not be the original, but he is still a blood son. He is still her son. She will come find him. This nightmare will end soon. He can go home.

And then weeks pass, and nothing. Then months, and nothing. His family is not coming for him, and it hurts. Hurts more than anything. And yet while that happens, the boy he's attacked, and hurt, teaches himself arabic in order to speak to him. He takes Damian out of the house one afternoon and buys him new clothes, or tries to. And then he keeps buying him new clothes. He gives him blankets and gives up his bed to him until they can get him one himself, and steadily he teaches Damian english.

This boy is kind. Kinder than Damian's ever experienced, and he doesn't know what to do with it. He's devastated by the fact that he is not as important to his family as his family is to him. What do you do when you're six years old and you learn something like that? When a random stranger who looks like your father is kinder to you, and cares more about you than your family did?

And then Damian tells him he's a clone. He's Damian Wayne's clone, and he tells him his purpose - that their grandfather made him to kill him. And the boy, the imposter, Damian thinks he probably already knows that he's a clone. But he doesn't say that. He just nods, and asks him if he wants to tell his original about him.

Damian says no. He doesn't want to. He's tired of living in the shadow of his original. He wants to keep this to himself. This is his. For once, all of this is his.

And to his surprise, the imposter doesn't try and convince him otherwise. He just nods, and says okay. And when Damian asks why, the imposter - his brother - looks at him and says.

"I don't care about Damian Wayne. I care about you." And in Damian's gobsmacked silence, his brother continues. He tells him that if Damian doesn't want to tell his original that he exists, then they don't need to. They don't need to worry about the LoA going after him, because clearly if his 'grandfather' needs to make a clone of Damian in order to take him out, then whatever it was that Damian Wayne was doing to keep himself safe, was working.

"Wayne already has people in his corner, he's got Gotham's army of vigilantes to keep himself safe." his brother says with his eyes as blue as moonlight. "You, however. Do not." And he continues, and says that if Damian Wayne has the same training as Damian does, then he will be fine. He doesn't need to be aware of his clone. Because if DW doesn't know about Damian, then the LoA doesn't either.

And here's the thing. Damian would not have survived in the LoA for long. Not as a clone. No matter what, he was going to die no matter what he did, and sooner rather than later. The sword of Damocles was always hanging above his head in the League of Assassins.

That portal, and meeting Danny, saved his life. There's no way around it. And to an extent Damian knows this even at six years old. He may not be aware that he would've died, but he knows that meeting Danny was the best thing to happen to him.

It's no wonder after that, that Damian is as clingy to Danny as he is. Danny is the first person he's met to offer him unconditional love, with no strings attached, only pure affection.

They may not get along the best together, but they love each other and especially love you, so they're improving for you

Besides her book club, which I honestly really enjoy and she seems to articulate herself well when it comes to books/interview questions, Kaia has always seemed her age to me (thats not a bad thing though). She seems like a smart and nice 22 year old but just as a bystander, i dont get how she used to call herself as a "old soul" (and find it cringy when people refer to themselves as that). She seems naive when it comes to relationships and how Hollywood works (prob moreso do to do with her being an nepo baby) but she can always learn from that and she seems like the type who is open to improving. I think traveling, like how shes doing as a model, can def help expand your mind but it doesnt necessarily make you more mature. 22 is young for an engagement but its just a lot for a 2 year relationship

Kaia seems like a sweet girl, but she has been raised in privilege her whole entire life, so while she may have a lot of traveling experiences, a part of her is still very sheltered (imo) from most things. Meanwhile, Austin came from some struggle and humble beginnings lol.... and probably has a very different outlook on life just in general because of everything he's been through in life... I'm sure opposites attract... so I GET it. Trust me.

But yea, 22 is quite young for an engagement imo.... Imo, Kaia will probably go on to date (and kiss) many more men (and women) in her lifetime. For some reason, I'm not seeing her settling down anytime soon? 🤷🏾‍♀️

Im the list anon again and boy do I have more for you but this time I also have some questions as well if your time allows and you are willing to answer of course. First with the other things I loved:

1) the fact that Ron warmed up to Draco so quickly! I genuinely think thats so much in character. Ron is not a distrustful person and as a middle child as they come is very easygoing and would for sure make stupid jokes at Draco

2) The patronus. My god the Patronus. I seriously put the phone down and made a small slow clap during that chapter. At first I was like hmmmm *insert unsure kombucha girl face* because almost all fanfics have him with a dragon patronus and leave it at that (and lets be honest at this point my expectations of you were quite high dont blame me blame your bloody brilliant writing) but then, and I dont know if you did this on purpose or not (I have a feeling you did) but the fact that the dragon was the same (pale white) wounded but still feral dragon that Hermione FREEED (!) from a bank (£££) dungeon, malnourished and used for its nature, surrounded by darkness, wealth and misery!! And it was Hermione who broke its chains!!!!! Is just *chefs fucking kiss* slow clap*

3) the way you describe sex scenes are so natural! Ive never read a fanfic or book that doesnt make me gag a little bit (I am not a fan of smut at all but ill go with it because of a good story) until I read yours. Its so simple but yet intricate and you make the entire act so intriguing and normal and intimate. Bravo.

4) I LOVE SASHA. I love that Theo fell for her head over heels and the way you portrayd her reminded me of a friend of mine who works as a sous-chef in London so I always pictured her when reading it!

5) Dracos inner voice is ON POINT. Like I genuinely think you shoud own the rights to that character now.

6) Ill say it again. I love Ginny. You should also own the rights to her character too.

A) What was the deal with Malfoy referring to Ginny as Weasly and refusing to aknowledge her Potter surname. And why did everyone kept correcting him? It was hilarious granted but I wanted to know whether the reason you included this time and time again had to do wih something deeper? Or was this included as just a funny recurring joke?

B) Why did you choose for Draco to have a “fantasy” to produce a patronus and not for example for him to have had to do that after theyd exchanged “i love yous”. Very interesting angle and i liked that it was sort of a loophole to all the ‘death eaters cant have patronuses’ but quite curious on the thought process

C) Why did you opt for Draco to remove his mark? Do you think that stands as reward for him more or for Hermione? Very smart solution by the way

D) if you have the time- Could you please elaborate a tad more on what the soul-bonding means? Why was it so taboo? At furst hand it seems like a very romantic/amazing thing to do with your partner right?

Lastly- Do you ever itch to make a second part to this? And in the most acceptable case that you dont, I always wondered what you had in mind for them in the future- because of the soul bonding thing, you mentioned that the generational curses will be erased, which means I guess that the Malfoys can have more than one child now, and girls as well. (I cannot believe im asking for this as I am the one to avoid any pregnancy fanfics but) do you imagine them with children and if yes, how many? How do they integrate muggle devices(I know youd agree wit me that Hermione would definitively bring some muggle stuff over!) and which devices would Draco really secretly like?

I will add that according to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the Ironbelly’s scales are normally a metallic grey. I will also add that I subscribe more to book canon than movie canon. In the book version of events of the Gringotts escape, Harry breaks the chains and Hermione (with eventual help once the boys catch on) destroys the ceiling so it can have a way out. The partially blind dragon does the rest of the work on its own.

Now to some answers:

A.) It’s definitely a recurring joke. It’s up to the reader to interpret Draco’s actions here: is he doing it to be a massive troll? Or is he genuinely not retaining the information of her married name because he considers this fact so unimportant that he does not bother to keep it in his brain? Troll, snob, or both, you can decide!

B.) I’ll address the second part of this first, because it was not intended as a loophole. I 1000% do not understand the “death eaters can’t have patronuses” thing. It makes absolutely no sense. Snape has a Patronus. But beyond that… Umbridge has a Patronus (a cat). If we’re letting that woman have a Patronus, then yeah, I think Draco can cast one. As for the vision that Draco used to conjure it… up to you whether that’s a fantasy or a glimpse of a certain ritual actually working. Draco’s thoughts on the matter: “An image of such striking tangibility that he might have already lived it, or perhaps experienced time in such a way that he lived it now.”

C.) I wanted Draco to have a choice, obviously a recurring theme for him in RN. For my characterization of him, that symbol on his arm causes him nothing but shame and self-loathing (see the end of chapter 36 during his heart-to-heart with Hermione). I can at least answer the taboo part: I think soul magic in general (horcruxes, the use of unicorn blood) is quite taboo in the HP universe. As no one knows what happens after death (not even ghosts, Nearly Headless Nick says as much when Harry asks him point-blank in OoTP) I think most magical folk would think the intense ritual (blending magical cores) an unnecessary thing anyway. As Draco explains in chapter 48, since no one actually knows the effects or if it works, it’s considered a bit over-the-top since it’s probably futile anyway. It is also not a Vow with a death component; Narcissa is obviously alive in this story even though Lucius is already dead. I wrote the generational curse protection theory in as a dig at Cursed Child for the way they handled Astoria’s character.

The idea of it I think is romantic, but I will stress it is very dependent upon the intent of the two participants. To quote Draco in chapter 48 again: “To twine one’s soul to another showed a willingness to not only physically tether one’s self during your time here on earth, but to commit to a blending of your magical cores, putting faith in your magic to recognize its bonded counterpart in another life. Should other lives even exist.”

If you re-read Draco’s experience during the bonding ceremony in chapter 51 (starting from this bit: “The cognizance of his own powers never felt sharper, more familiar, but suddenly another power pulsed within to join with his.”) you might find it bears a resemblance to the trajectory of their relationship.

Lastly- I’ve left Draco and Hermione to their wedded bliss. I’ve got nothing planned for them beyond where they are in the final lines of chapter 51. I don’t have that itch to write more into their future because it would feel forced. Draco laid out his two envisioned futures with Hermione in chapter 48 when they discuss having or not having children. They are happy and content in the life they chose together. That’s all I ever wanted for them.

Her gaze wanders around the shabby bar she has to perform in tonight. The voice inside her head was giving her a speech about why she should not do, but in the end, the only thing that matters isn't her unease but the fact that she needed the money to live more than just the next week.

Another time her gaze went around the room and she stopped at a certain old man, Lee was his name, the man who is feared in this area, the man who controlled the whole country and owns more than three-quarters of the country, including the area she lives and performs in. It wasn't usual that he is seen at a place like that. Normally he wouldn't place one feet in here, because it is way to low for him and his standards.

While she thinks about that, her eyebrows curled in confusion and after she looked beside Lee, she looked directly into a pair of dark brown eyes, staring in her direction, eye-fucking her in any way what's possible for now.

He was handsome, dangerously handsome how he sits there, his cigarette between his lips and a devilish smirk laying on his face.

Of course, he was handsome, her type, but if he sits that near beside Lee he has to be a member of the mafia and even if she is smart and knows how to get everyone with a cute smile and some polite words, she doesn't want a man like that. A man with hands covered in blood and money.

,,Y/N you are next! Hey don't daydream now! " an annoyed, harsh and very unfriendly voice reminded her about her new appointment.

A polite smile is shot in the direction of the unkind person.

Y/N loved the music, loved musicians and their way to think, she always wanted to be more than just a girl singing for criminals and murderers, but she wasn't talented enough.

When she was younger, at the start of her career she dreamed about getting married to a musician, becoming famous with him, and giving birth to beautiful and talented kids, but everyone she met was the same. All of them just interested in her look and her played character, the character she had to play so no one sees her real face, her weakness, her fear, and disgust.

To her deplore the song ends very soon, and she now had to play an act beside her smile now.

Clapping is heard and some of the males in the crowd are whistling.

The young singer looked around and her gaze stopped another time in this evening on a person looking at her, the man still looked at her while he blew the smoke of his cigarette in the air before he pushed his hat a bit up, to have a better view at her.

His gaze completely fixed at her, she gulped but knew that she has to act as normal as ever.

The young girl looked at the person sitting beside the staring man and smiled brightly, holding her hand out in a friendly manner.

,,Such a lovely crowd today. I would like to take the opportunity now to personally thank Mr. Lee for honoring me with his presence and tolerating my cat-screeching I like to call singing."

The crowd bursts out in clapping again and a smile formed on the face of the male as he waves in agreement.

Forcing back the vomit and physically battling with herself to keep the smile on her face she blew a kiss in the direction of the old man, who killed so many people whether they are guilty or innocent.

A new song started and she sang not full-hearted this time, the thought that she has to leave this town run around her head the whole time and as she looked in the crowd, her eyes stopped at the handsome male again.

He looked at her, his eyes narrowing and his cigarette now killing between his fingers, he looked intimidating, no more than that, but she tried to focus on her song, on her performance.

As soon as she finished the song, she waved lovely as a goodbye and then left the stage, talking with the next musicians on her way to the dressing room, these guys are nice, complimenting her voice and not her appearance for once.

She closed the door and changed her clothing.

,, Still some good guys out there." she thought and closed her eyes, before she looked in the mirror in front of herself.

Too much makeup, that's what she was thinking as a deep sigh left her mouth. She doesn't hate to wear makeup, no she likes to apply some of it once in a while, but this heavy rouge, heavy blue eyeshadow and red lips were just too much.

But this is exactly what the club owners wanted, this is what the men in her audience wanted.

The girl cleaned her face with water and tried to get all the makeup down very quickly. She just wanted to leave this bar, to go home and fall into her bed, but of course, this isn't what happened.

Heavy footsteps are heard and as she turned to the site, she saw him. The perfect, good looking man who stared at her the whole time, his significant smirk laying on his face.

Fear rushed over her and she bites down on her lips, taking one step backward and lifting her hand up in front of her face. There was only one reason why a man would appear in the lady's restroom at such a time, she heard stories from other female singers and right now she wished she didn't know them and she could think that this was just someone who wants to compliment her. She backed away from the stranger and a deep, rough and annoyed sigh is heard before he walked towards her, his heavy footsteps echoing through the room.

,, N... No" the young girl whispered and looked down at his feet, still taking one step away when he comes closer.

Thoughts other thoughts run through her mind and as she looked up to the tall man hovering over her pity figure, she finds the courage to say something.

,,Look, M.. Mister I don't want any trouble-", but she abruptly stopped when she saw that he placed one hand in the inside of his jacket.

So that's why he is doing this. He must have been insulted that she was staring at him, it was a bad behavior at all.

The music in the background faded away and was replaced with her heavy breathing and loud heartbeat as she looked up to the terrifying man.

Of course he knew that she was terrified that she was scared, but just like her father always told her. If cou show your weakness on this city it eats you alive.

The young girl glared up to the tall guy, not wanting to show him more fear than she already did.

Y/N looked up at him and saw an amused little smile, before his grip loses a bit around her arm, but just the second she thought he is backing away he pushed her harder again the wall.

At first she couldn't believe that he was really insulted about the fact that she doesn't like what she saw, but in the end he is an mafia member, of course no one ever rejected him. Every woman would be attacked by his handsome appearance, every woman would fall for the charm of the male.

But not her, as soon as she realized that he was insulted because his ego is hurt, her fear disappeared and she knew what she had to do.

To give him what he wants.

If he wouldn't have used the word insulting to describe her, she would have done it, tell him what he wants to hear. Of course she would have hate herself for that, but she knows that there are time to be mouthy and times to be smart. Certainly right now there is the time to be smart.

But he did use the word insulting and she couldn't let her mind think clear.

He was insulted? Why would he be insulted after he stared at her, after he walked into the woman's restroom and approached her in such an inappropriate manner, but of course she is the rude one.

He is proud of you and wants to provide you with future opportunities because that’s how he cares about people, by giving them a means to earn money and have purpose. Also he is very interested in what you can teach him about pop culture.  

-        Age doesn’t matter to him too much. Maturity does and you had proven your maturity by helping the RFA faithfully and well

-        In fact, he is very proud of how well you did and mentions that your professionalism at such a young age shows great potential should you apply to C&R (you know him well enough to take it for the compliment it is intended to be)

-        His presence practically drips with “proud dad preparing for his daughter’s future” vibes and considering the 11-year age gap you suppose you couldn’t ask for much better

-        That is until he hears you chatting on the phone and using slang he’s never heard before

Acts like your best friend that you enjoy teasing. He wants to be a good role model but that shiz is hard. You two bond a lot over stories about school and the struggles of exams.

-        He is very relieved to not be the youngest anymore because now maybe everyone will stop treating him like a baby. (spoiler alert they won’t. Ever.)

-        He worries that he’s supposed to act like a big brother. He doesn’t know how to do that! He’s always been the baby brother, or the youngest member, or the newest intern. How does one be responsible?

-        Tries and fails to intimidate guys away from you to “protect” you (but zen said it was his duty to keep you safe! He said all men are wolves MC!)

-        “If all men are wolves why isn’t he worried about you Yoosung?” “huh? Hey wait yeah! Does he not think I’m a man?!” “ go get em tiger. give zen a piece of your mind”

-        He helps you with homework a lot but no cheating! He tells you about the time he cheated to pass a class only to get to the next level class and understand NOTHING it took a lot of tutoring and studying and work to fix that mess. Best to learn it now while it’s still learnable.

-        He refuses to teach you LOL “don’t end up like me MC! Be better!” you learn it anyway and end up playing with him frequently. The rest of the RFA blame him for this much to his dismay.

Saeyoung

he wants to protect you in his own frankly silly way. still meme’s it up but doesnt want anyone “corrupting” you. actually he kind of treats you the way he would treat saeran.

-        He fights with V for the first time when V suggests leaving you in Rika’s apartment (with a bomb) but reluctantly comes around and does what V says

-        Stays a meme lord and is psyched if you can manage to out meme him

-        Definitely teases you about your age a lot (Yoosung is secretly glad to not be the ONLY one getting teased for being young)

-        “guys we have to protect the baby she has her whole life ahead of her”

-        Is the most adamant about not swearing, drinking or smoking around you

he basically adopts you okay. he wants to be your cool big brother friend and be everything his family never was for him. he takes care of you and stands up for you every chance he can.

-        He finds out very early on because the second he starts flirting seven shuts that shit down telling him your too young for that. He asks how young and is shocked but recovers pretty fast

-        You know the protective big brother trope? Yeah that’s him

-        He’s your ride or die friend too. Need a ride to school? He’s there on his bike, some dick is harassing you? He’s there to scare the punk off, and even though he doesn’t want to fight a kid he will if he has too

-        If its girls who are harassing, you he picks you up to give your rep a bit of a boost (it never hurts to be seen with such a handsome guy after all and if he shows up on his bike he’s also got the badass vibe going on)

-        He has ALWAYS wanted a little sister and now he’s adopted you. You’re his little sis now and he’s wrapped around your finger. He swears he’ll be a better brother than his brother was

-        He is so proud of all your accomplishments and is determined to encourage your dreams the way his parents never did (he might be living his family wishes vicariously through you but hey he treats you good so it’s cool)

-        She’s a bit worried about you taking on such a big responsibility as the RFA guest liaison at such a young age. What if your grads drop? Or you family gets upset? What if you had to also work a part time job and this interfered your young you need to be able to rest and live your life. (when you point out that she should do the same she brushes you off)

-        Not much changes honestly, she’s always been the RFA’s mom after all.

-        She gets a little stricter about language and “inappropriate” topics

-        She definitely encourages you to study and do well in school (and avoid any job’s Mr. Han offers you)

-        She still down to be your friend though! She’s all ears when you need to vent about school and you are always ready to lend an ear back when Jumin is giving you a hard time

-        You swap girl power ballads and she helps you set up a Zen fan club at your high school

Saeran

-        Look he didn’t intend to kidnap and actual kid and he’s honestly a bit panicked when he finds out your age you looked older than that he swears

-        Thankfully your mature enough and smart enough to do what’s needed of you and he supposes as long as you don’t have a family searching for you it should be okay

Ray

-        He’s a little more reserved but honestly not much changes he’s still innocent and devoted he calls you princess and tries to spoil you as much as he can he may not see you as a romantic interest but your still his obsession.

-        He likes that you trusted him even more since your young and therefor more vulnerable. You’re his family now, a better family than he’s ever had.

-        If you are the princess, he is your knight in the strictest definition. Which is to say he is devoted to protecting and serving you out of dedication and reverence rather than romance.

-        He’s more verbally aggressive than physically aggressive

-        He doesn’t try as hard to seem intimidating because he thinks of you as a child, and he doesn’t have to prove how tough he is to a child it’s obvious after all.

-        Also his visits are simultaneously shorter and more frequent. Shorter because he tends to get flashbacks easier (since he sees you as a child despite you being a teen) and more frequent because they are less satisfying since he doesn’t let himself be physically aggressive.

Vanderwood

(IDK why but I feel like he probably had an actual family with a girlfriend/wife and possibly a very very young daughter before the agency. Maybe she left him and that’s why he’s so impressed by MC’s dedication in the secret ending. Or maybe they’re both dead because broken hearts make more money than whole ones. Either way I think a teen MC would remind him of his possible family and so he would be hell bent on separating you from the danger and drama of literally everything that happens in the game.)

-        He’s legitimately (and rightfully) concerned about you when he see’s you on seven’s CCTV feed

-        protective and angry dad mode activated

-        threatens to tazer seven into oblivion if he lets something (or causes something to) happen to you

-        “what the hell are you doing she’s a civilian AND she’s got her whole life before her, you and I might have thrown away our lives but she didn’t! whatever’s going on you had better fix it NOW”

Most people at an age want children, having someone blood-related to interact with seemed like anyone dreams at some point.

If you asked Jesse what he wanted from life, he would definitely never say a child. That seemed to complicate things in his life, with his organization, killings and always having an alibi; a child would do no good, but God seemed to have other thoughts for Jesse.

After his pregnant wife committed suicide, the doctors managed to save the child. Imagine the shock he had when he found out; not that his wife killed herself, but that he is a father. That was the tip of the iceberg.

The first time he held his baby daughter was so foreign, having to be so gentle with something so fragile was a hard task. Chromeskull isn’t soft! But for his baby girl, he had to swallow his pride and act how a father was supposed to act.

Spann and Preston were there for him, acting like an uncle and aunt. It was kind of funny seeing his baby girl grow up and use Preston as her own doll, dressing him up in a Princess and having tea with her stuffed animals.

Spann was there for the little girls' education, making sure she didn’t slack off, do her homework etc. Jesse may be a ruthless killer, but he would never let his own daughter get to nothing in her life, so school was a priority.

Months turned into years and sometimes Jesse wondered how old he got when he saw that his little girl was now a young woman, well a teenager, but still, he couldn’t help the paranoia that got to him. He knew what teenage boys are thinking and he always made sure to protect her from such scumbags.

Then there was a moment when she knocked on the door of his office, walking in with a serious look on her face. Seeing her now, with long blonde hair and these brown eyes that resembled his, only her were full of passion and love, his full of malice and devious intent.

“Dad...I was wondering...About my mother.” her words made his eye widen, his mouth hanging open as if he could speak, but words wouldn’t come out.

‘There’s nothing to talk about her.’ he signed, continuing to work on his laptop.

“I know what happened to her, about what you REALLY do.” her voice make him completely stop. How did she?

As if reading his thoughts, she walked over to his desk, sitting down in one of the armchairs.

“I took some time to browse through your computer.” she said and he couldn’t help the silent chuckle that rumbled in his chest.

Of course, she was his daughter; she was smart, sneaky, and knew how to get things her own way in the end. He kind of felt proud, but also nervous, because he knew what his wife did so many years ago when he found out about the REAL him.

“I don’t care.”

What? Jesse was a little confused.

“I know what mother did when she found out, but I’m not one to judge so easy. You’re my father and I love you no matter what. I cannot lose someone so important in my life.” she explained to him, a sad look in her eyes.

That was a real shock; he knew she was mature and always put things together, but been so understanding of his business and what he did. Jesse couldn’t believe it.

‘I don’t want to lose you either.’ Jesse signed, getting up and walking towards her, pulling her up into his arms, afraid that if he let her go she would disappear.

“I love you, daddy.” she muttered in his chest, his hands rubbing her back in a comforting way.

It’s been so long since she called him ‘daddy’. He thought she grew up out of that phase, that she wasn’t his little girl anymore and at some point would leave him.

‘I love you too, princess.’ he signed, ruffling her blonde locks, making her pout.

He didn’t need a woman in his life, as long as he had his daughter, probably the only one who would love him unconditionally and understood him so deeply.

And God has mercy on any boy who dared to break her heart.

Barbara, who is Macarena? A person that really knows what she wants. She's always creating conections with people in general and with her family, organizing everything to hold on to them. She's very smart, sensitive and so beautiful

Macarena, what would yo like to see on Valentina's life? For her to not need approbation from others

And you Barbara, what would you like for Juliana? For her to fulfill her dreams and show everyone that all that matters is believing in yourself to get what you want

Macarena, what's a normal day without cameras? So normal. Generally i'd wake up early in the morning, even if i don't like it very much, but as i travel a lot i have to. I do excercise every day because i realized that it really grounds me; it's not to look good but to feel good, i like to be strong. I always try to give myself a moment during the day to talk to someone i love, maybe a friend or family, i like human contact and i try to do it everyday. I do everything in my power to work and then go to dance or have a cup of wine, or to a music festival or travel... everything that's living life it's very important, because we never know when will be our last day.

And you Barbara, what's a normal day without cameras? I love to spend time with my family and i try to cherish my friendships, so i go from place to place around the city to give everyone a little bit of my time. I love music, it gives me the chance to imagine a lot of stuff. I like to even go eat by myself, is one of the things that i enjoy the most in my free time.

Macarena, what do you admire about Barbara? A lot of things. I'm a person that really has to concentrate in something, because i can't do a lot of things at the same time, and she has that ability to be present here, make laugh the person in front of her and say hi to another person without forgeting that she's working. She does a lot of things at the same time, and all of them are well done, i admire that so much.

Barbi, what do you admire about Maca?

I admire her honesty, how transparent and clear she is about what she wants and her way to do that, because it's easy to get things cheating in this business, but she knows how to get what she wants, while me, i'm a little more scared about going for it. That's something i need to learn.

What did Maca feel when Valentina came out?

I think that's the scene where she really is aware of what she's going through. When she tells her brother it's the first time she says it out loud, because she hasn't even shared it with Juliana yet. She can finally express how much in love she's with a girl without knowing what she's gonna do next or what everyone will think, which desicions to make or how to react.

We did that scene in one take and the guy i did it with is Barbara's boyfriend, he's my brother in the story, so it was nice because i was talking to him about her real life girlfriend. It was a very tender moment, very moving and we both lived that nervousness and really teared up, we lived it on the flesh, we connected. Valentina felt free and a lot of clarity; the tricky thing is that the world ask us to label something that we're not even sure about, it's so unfair because everyone has the right to not know. For the first time she did it without the obligation of thinking before she spoke and that's when she asks herself, "did that really went out of my mouth?" she was thankful for being able to feel so free at last.

And what did Barbara feel when Juliana came out?

I felt so relieved; the situation was a lot more complicated with Juliana because she didn't have that much family or knowledge about her surroundings, for her it was very difficult to talk to someone... how do you come out in that situation? i felt really proud as Barbara, you need great courage to do something like that when you know you don't have those loving arms to protect you at the end, because it's only your mom and you, and it's very possible that she wont accept you. Juliana felt like that woman that she wanted to be, that woman that was trapped and couldn't come out and there's nothing more beautiful than that kind of freedom.

What makes you different from your characters?

B: the maturity and a bunch of things that now, as Barbara. i can understand and that Juliana still have to live through, but i identify a lot with her.

M: the same.

what's the biggest change in your acting for both of you?

M: i think everyone struggles with saying "no". We are taught since very little to never dismiss any oportunity even when you don't agree with what you're doing, we have to please everyone, and since i've met Barbara i've seen that clarity in her, about what she wants to do and move foward, she has this sweetness and capacity to say and execute things, that in a way empowers her because now she's always sure of what she wants. We were saying minutes ago, there's no place for half truths and not being transparent, life it's already so complicated for us to be pretending something we're not, so i think that's the most significative change. I know that for her this is really important.

B: I don't know, i thought more about our relationship, now we have a lot of trust in each other... now she's a lot more open with me.

Where do you want to direct your careers?

B: i'm not sure. Personally i look foward to challenge myself every day and do the things that i'm more afraid of, i love that... for now that'd be my dream.

M: I've never liked to set limits for myself, i always say that our imagination it's so little compared to the universe, what i look in my own career is to be able to follow my intuiton, that's the reason that brought me here. i want to be able to really feel my projects, to say yes "if i feel it" even if everyone else is saying "do this instead", We have to be a little cold blooded -in a good way-, have that kind of serenity and ask myself "what do i really want?", and keep having that priviledge of choosing where i'm going.

For both of you, what is love?

M: Love is to be present *very tricky translation btw*

B: Love is to put you on a test, is loving on good or bad times, is fighting and changing over time.

What do you look for in that special person to know you're in love and feel fully happy?

M: Hijo! *express surprise* i think we are wrong since the thought that the other person has the responsibility to make us happy, because i think that the first person that you've to fall in love with is yourself. If you let that be someone else’s responsibility, i'd hit you hard, because the day you stop being happy, then what? are you going to blame the other? For starters, i think you have to be responsable for yourself before you engage in a relationship with someone else and build a team. I always say, the “other half” thing i dont get it, i think we're both full oranges that complement each other. But first you have to be okay with yourself, because if you aren't, thet it gets really complicated.

B: i think being in love all the time doesnt exist, it's imposible, then for me love is just that. You're not always going to be 100 percent with that person but you still know they will be there for you, It's loving them like they're and them loving you like you're and pushing for a better version of yourselves.

How do you prepare for your roles?

B: As an actor you have a set of tips or skills, like writting, imagine about that person and in my case, i tought "what do i want to do now?" I know the character is written but besides that, i want to discover what i want to put from me in it. It's very difficult for me to describe, i feel that in the moment we're recording i'm really in their shoes, their life, and that's the moment when the magic starts.

M: When you find the place for you in the universe and understand your own human relationships that exist around you, your family and your fictional loved one, it gives you a lot of perspective. I mean, what the other person thinks and what they feel always affects you.

We broke it down lots of times, do you remember? The firsts episodes were really complex, beacuse a lot was happening. untill we kind of found our own flow. We broke down all the episodes and that's when we knew where the climax was coming and we build the story backwards with that knowledge, which made the process very interesting.

What does ir means for you to be representatives of the LGBT community?

B: It's an honor. I think that in life we have to do important statements, what you're pasionate about you have to take it beyond and do good for the world. I know this story has been so important for so many people and they put their trust in us, so definitely it's a great honor.

M: I think it brings sense to it all. I have a lot of ideals and most of the time it's hard to know how to approach them witout jugdement from outsiders; with this it all made sense, i found a way to support genuine people and it was a team effort, so to speak. It's okay not to be sure, it's okay if you regret it, it's okay to ask for forgiveness, things that are so simple but yet so hard.

I was saying earlier, for me this mesage was important because this are things i really belive in and are values that i have thet i want to shere with people out there. Our responsibility as spokespersons is not only with the LGBT community but with all the women out there fighting for their rights. It's very important to raise our voices, it doesn't matter if you define yourself or not.

B: i agree and also the important thing it's give support from the heterosexual side, no?

Someone close to you had a not expected reaction to your roles?

M: it's amazing the love this generated, you realize the need for comunication and acceptance, because every single one of us belongs to a minority. We just want to say, let's love each other!

Any woman has stopped to say pick up lines to you?

M: yeah and it's amazing, i'm very impressed, they even asked us to marry them!

B: That's the biggest accomplishment, Yeah it has happened, they didn0t sto us to say pick up lines, but yeah they have done that, they're very respectful

According to Juliana and Valentina, where does the strength of a woman resides?

B: in believing in yourself, because anything can happen if you belive, it's true.

M: Yeah and Barbara and Macarena also think the same. Also live with intention and not with expectations, because you can get very disappointed and that's not the case. Dreams are built not fulfilled.

At last, what resposibility does the media have with these kind of roles?

B: just to portray it as it is, we have to see things as they are and talk about them as we normally talk to each other. It's just another love story, with no labels.

M: its pretty amazing the message that's geting out there but the responsibility is mutual, because we can't share this without your help, or the producer or the writer. We are just the face and voice but behind - and also foward- there's a bunch of people. We have to thank you for this space because that's what makes the difference.

What does it means for you to do COSMO?

B: the triumph of love, no matter the gender

M: this is the triumph of the Juliantinas! of us, the team, because we also believe in this.

Nah, I'm good, though. Once again, this is just my silly opinion blog about this particular interaction between these three and comment if you have any opinions to share too! :) please enjoy the characters and comics regardless of my ideas. Love y'all😘

To say the least, we all know Max is obviously in love with Sam throughout thee entire t.v. and video game series; possibly the comics, but we'll get inside of that little history later. The main focus of how Max protrays his feelings towards his best friend and police partner, which is quite open in a rare way, Steve Purcell places out their relationship to be after all they've been together and will be when they die. It's a heart wrenching, violent story of pure friendship, and/or.. maybe more?

We're going to dig into that right now, beginning with Sam's jelly rabbit Max behavior.

When we take a look at this scene, Max only has a smile on his face to carry up an "innocent act" for the sake of his companion and this lady's (bleh) reassurance. He doesn't want to actually scare off both his colleagues to create a giant dilemma of drama and end up on being Sam's quiet side. So, the lagomorph decides not to give into his natural instinct to rip her wig off. Instead, he wiggles out his little bunny charm to do what he can to come between on Ms. Honeybunny's intentions on his best friend.

Meaning, his goal is to remain on Sam's good light so he doesn't have his canine friend to look down on him when he would have scared someone off who clearly didn't do anything wrong; in society's eye, anyhow.

The lagomorph just wanted to claim his terrority because that's HIS 6ft talking dog! He has to tear down the competition then and there, baby. Or else they're gone for life and that's never going to happen in Max's life!

Oh no, and that's why this scene is so interesting even more. Because we also get a small sequel to their, ahem, lady competition for Sam.

It's super clear how gayly in love Max is with Sam in the t.v. series and the doggo scoundrel is super aware of what his best friend is feeling. Sam is a dog with super intelligent detective skills to sense if there's something going on, especially if its coming from Max, he is on the case to solve his mysterious canine instinct itch! with the bond of them they've always shared since they were merely babies.

But this scene just proves how much of a sassy girlfriend this little lagomorph can truly be, and I love it!

He just downright called her a whore in a kid friendly manor so the censors don't kick their asses off the program too soon (even though, they did last one season) and being told, "don't worry, miss. A boat will be by to pick you up, and that means sailors! Yup, you'll get picked up, alright." ... is clearly not friendly!

That rabbit knew what he was doing. His jealously became a perfect revenge to tell her to stop her shit on them, and try it on someone else. It's classically performed here and I applaud for Max, once i was done watching this episode. Ms. Honeybunny may or may not have received the hint that they're not available, but Max has tried making it clear as day, twice now. He knows Sam doesn't get a clue; so, all that matters is that SHE understands the message:

"Sam is mine, don't flirt with me or him, go make out with a sailor, blah blah blah."

In Max's terms to this scene, he nailed it perfectly! So I believe the whole reason Sam didn't even try to say a word to her is because he clearly knew better than to try and to help Ms. Honeybunny when Max OBVIOUSLY showed no interest; he decided to take the smart choice and go to Team Max's side for silent support. And probably so he wouldn't die, either.

Later on, Sam finally decides to say something:

Sam: "you crack me up little buddy."

Max: "whatever."

...

Uh.. that doesn't help, Sam!

Max probably dissed off Sam like that is because he knew he won, but he hadn't truly received the main prize: having Sam understand he belongs to only Max. His big hound still doesn't get the picture between two love rivals. Sam just doesn't realize Max still remembers when he and Ms. Honeybunny batted-eyes with each other til his REAL bunny came into the picture. His feelings must have been a little upset when he saw the lady appear again, after finding her on the boat and dressed as Geek. She was unmasked by Sam and Max's joke about calling for help on the walkie talkie was.. a little TOO panicked to me.

Like he was in a nightmare.

Like if Max saw them flirt or even remotely get near each other again, Sam would definitely have to call help from a rescue team away from Max's rage. Max knows some shark sword fighting skills to teach them both a lesson about Max being possessive as Hell, and Sam needs to wear a collar with the lagomorph's name on it. (Also, they're in the middle of the ocean. I'm pretty sure Max would use a shark as a sword somehow.)

In conclusion, this was still a fun filling jealous rival we got to see come out towards Sam and Max reacting to it. It was perfect, but I do personally wish we could have seen a jealous Sam in the series. She's just a slut and Max knew it from the start. Even if he didn't, that wouldn't change anything on how Max handled it. He stayed calm for Sam, tried to forget about Ms. Honeybunny during the rest of their mission, and she just came back out of nowhere! She keeps ruining everything by my getting the hint that Max does not care HOW she goes away- she needs to leave for good.

Max will never let anyone try to split their Freelance work and it certainly would not be their last encounter with other flirts, or crazy infatuations (*coughs* momma bosco). Max cooperated well and acted more maturely in an adult manner than he normally would be in. Like, he'd probably crush her skull on the desk or go to Geek about a sexual harassment groping from Ms. Honeybunny, so it'll get her fired.

And that's what's crazy bout all these things is Max is always up for any challenge out there. Violence, poker, best shooter, best at taking shots, the list goes on. But the emotionally ones are always backing him up in a corner to run away from and hide. Max doesnt like the emotional encounters that other people bring and it's not Sam&Max world quality.

In truth, Max may might as well be possessive, but Sam is pretty crazy about him too. It only shows their love for each other more, and I'd say that it'd be awesome if they could only be a little more open with each other. It's just super rare for Max to want to be able to share what he desires from Sam, or what's going on when someone tries to steal Sam away like Ms. Honeybunny would have done.

Sam and Max are going to have to admit more open feelings and fluff if they ever reboot the show. Seriously. It'd be a perfect opportunity to see their love grow and see more of Steve Purcell's humor again.

okay here’s my full character analysis??? Headcanons???? canon retelling with my shit slapped on??? on

VIKTOR LEAGUE OF LEGENDS

(under read more cause its gonna get long)

Viktor is said to be born in the borders of the Entresol level of Zaum (aka the middle), but I’m guessing that means the lower border because of how often he’d have to move or stay away from home due to accidents.

I assume Viktor had good parents. They were artisans and seemed to encourage his creative pursuits with robotics and so on. (I also believe he is trans and that his parents supported him in that as well haha).

So yes, we have this child who likes building things. And he lives in this place that is not healthy or safe for the people that live there. His parents probably go to the upper levels to work and Viktor gets a glimpse of a better place there. He sees where he’s at and at first, he is motivated by both kindness and frustration. He is a child with a passion and all these leaks and accidents are getting in the way! So he starts studying to see what he can do. Time passes though and he realizes the extent of those things, the casualities of those humam errors. So he takes his work more seriously and soon he is producing results. But of course no one takes a teen seriously, no matter how good he is.

Until someone does and it works. His inventions are good! So he keeps doing it! He’s awkward and socially anxious but he really LOVES building things so he does it and sells his work to the factories until he gets the attention of the Zaun academy of techmaturgy (this is canon btw). 

He goes into the academy and he’s.... awkward... Like, Zaun is full of weird people sure but Viktor is pretty bad at talking about anything but robotics and stuff and comes off as blunt often, so he’s kinda isolated by his peers. He doesn’t mind, he’s there to study. But professor stanwick approaches him with interest in his work and Viktor is happy he is recognized by a professional. He’s a little naive back then and trusts his teacher a lot. Which is why he is convinced to move to Piltover, despite a bit of his reluctance to leave his home. His parents wave him goodbye and he leaves.

He moves to Piltover and gets a better lab, more tools, more money and more people to help. His work just improves in time and he’s put to work with a lot of people. He once again fails incredibly of socializing properly and falls into isolation yet again (hello darkness my old friend). People end up working with him either because he’s really the best option or because they can stand him for the time he is needed {:- (

Well, that is, until he works with Jayce. Jayce is infurating and doesn’t do things the way Viktor likes doing and has this weird outlook on how things are done that sometimes just works despite it all. He’s a puzzle that doesn’t make sense and the two end up doing a lot of things together. And having a lot of discussions. A LOT of them. They are both kinda lonely. But its like.. they don’t dislike eachother?? Because they kind skipped some steps in how socializing usually goes so it just kinda worked. 

They could’ve kept going, getting comfortable in eachother’s spaces until they could just go out to chill together or something but neither of them was brave enough to try it (or smart enough to realize that could be good). 

But then at this time that awful chem spill happened in Zaun in the entresol level and Viktor rushes home to help.

I’d say this is where Viktor’s character starts like, solidifying I guess? Because I think for the first time, as a grown mature person, Viktor is seeing death and suffering with his own eyes. Death and suffering that could’ve been avoided. He’s watching all these people die and suffer and he can only do so much to repair the damage. If only it could’ve been avoided, could’ve been stopped. He knows it’s possible. Why didn’t anyone do it? 

He doesn’t find his parents either.

So he spends the next several months throwing all his energy and sanity into doing whatever he can to help these people. He builds blitzcrank and they fix evertyhign they can. It’s a fucking CHEM spill, can you imagine just how AWFUL it all was?? people were dying for several weeks after the accident , even after the damage to the structures were already fixed. These people were slowly suffering around him and he was trying and they kept dying around him. These are workers, families. It’s a pretty bad situation.

He learnes how to infuse mechanical parts with flesh in an astonishing way just to try to replace the rotten, sick parts of the people around him. Get rid of the parts that were kiling them.

And then! He finally goes back to Piltover, after it all, and the first thing he gets is the news that Stanwick stole credits on his invention of Blitzcrank.

Like.. the emotional toll of it all? He’s tired! He’s burdened with the ammount of death he saw and people wanna be shitty and play games like that for glory and fame! It’s stupid and he doesn’t understand it! He tries to fight for his right and loses because no one really bothered to support him through it (Jayce didn’t think he’d really have to and would you look at that).

He’s angry and upset and grieving and possibly traumatized. He keeps wondering why would people do that to eachother and comes up empty. So he’s here, obsessing with replacing every part of human error to garantee that people WILL live. Of course, he’s more isolated then ever and people don’t bother to sit down and listen, they just think he’s weird and obsessed and stuff like that.

So when he needs to do the colaboration on the dive suits with Jayce and they have their fight about free will, people side with Jayce quickly. They think Viktor is mad and they had seen it coming miles away. 

He gets fucking expelled from the Piltover academia and sent back to Zaun.

To his ruined home, alone, with nothing but his name and his thoughts.

Clearly that leads him into a deep depression. After all, he lost everything but he doesn’t understand why ! because sure these people in piltover like acting high and mighty and theorizing and politicizing but they didn’t have to watch children crying because they were coughing so much blood was coming out because their lungs were corroded and they wouldnt last another week. They thought viktor was mad. 

And viktor had a lot of time to wallow over it, and think about his failures and suffer on his own and he’s actual conclusion is that negative emotions ( envy, pride, sadness) clouded people’s judgemetns. They’d let others suffer for their own gain out of fear of losing. 

He thought that himself feeling sadness was just another obstacle to do what he had to: save people.

So he basically starts operating on himself until he can barely feel emotions anymore, removing his own happiness with it (but its not like he felt it anyway so what difference did it make). And then he starts plunging into work like never before, dedicated to this new cause that is the glorious evolution. He starts again from the bottom and once again he rises, because Viktor is a genious, and he is honest in his work, in his intentions. He wants to help.

 People were scared of the Mad Man Viktor, but Viktor would do anything he could to save you if you came to him. He understood limits though, he never imposed over people. Do no harm, as they say ( what would be the point of doing that?? )

And then the other toxic even happens in Sump, another really bad one, and Viktor rushes in to help. He’s keeping these people alive in his lab but he knows he doesnt have the power to keep them so. So he goes to Jayce after an energy source.

He thinks Jayce will listen to him now, now Viktor isn’t emotive and easily hurt, now he isn’t insecure, he has a cause, he has something he fights for. A brighter tomorrow.

And Jayce calls him mad. 

Viktor is kind of dissapointed, he’d think Jayce, who has always been so uncaring of people’s opinion’s would at least try to understand. He doesn’t. So he takes the crystal by force from Jayce (petty arguments can be saved for later, those people on his lab needed him NOW).

When Jayce follows him there with a hammer he understands the stakes. 

One life against hundreds is an easy math. Viktor chooses to sacrifice Jayce (Jayce chose to come here after all)

But then Jayce actually destroys his lab.

And like... imagine waking up to your laboratory destroyed, just dozens of corpses of innocent people laying around. yet another failure, yet another big price to pay.

He has to start from zero again. His reputation is completely stepped on ( he is truly crazy now by everyone’s eyes) and Jayce is a hero. Blitzcrank sticks around for a little while, moved by the same passion to help people, but blitzcrank can stand the deaths and the gruesomeness of viktor’s work, he leaves to try to help in other ways. Viktor lets him of course, blitz has free will and he isn’t anyone to stop him. 

Some people, desperate people, still come to him for help. He does his best to give them what they need. A strange cult forms and idolizes him, he hates it, he is no god, he is just another man. People thinking of him as an etheral being just proves his theory on how fear and wayward emotions lead to dumb, dangerous mistakes.

In the end, Viktor is trying to cheat suffering, cheat death at all costs.

I don’t believe he sent any golems or anything after Jayce, vengence is way too beneath him. Stealing? Maybe not, depends. I think Jayce became a bit paranoid after “defeating” viktor. Because Viktor said some big words and Jayce is suddenly realizing that truly, he has no purpose. He’s just a useless tool. He makes things sure, but what for? He’s raised as a hero but damn he doesn’t feel like it.

And to end it all, this is why I think Ekko and Viktor should sit down and chat at some point. They are so similar and so different all at once. They both love Zaun and its people, they both wanna protect them and have a passion for inventing. But while Viktor wants to reject his human side to achieve his goals, Ekko embraces it. Like, I don’t think Viktor shouldn’t even be his mentor, more like his colleague. Ekko is his own person and has a different way of doing things, but they could do a lot together as well. 

Also Ekko and Blitz are totally friends in canon so like.. yeah.. Zaun for life....

1. leon: hes probably just a commoner in the main games but he also knows full well he’s not all that useful in puzzles that don’t require just pure brute strength... he’s also kind of a coward so he’d definitely see if he can strike up a partnership w a stronger player? i dont mind if he gets killed off but he isnt particularly abrasive just kind of dumb and defensive thus suspicious. he can partake in russian roulette just to establish that he cant handle stress and i kind of want him to have a motive to get tf out in kanon. he’s not fantastic at switching tokens but he’s okay... middle-ish

2. santa: on the other hand he IS abrasive. santa is loud and defensive and smart, which can’t always be good mixes yk?he gets genuinely angry in main games when things seem obvious to him but other people don’t just agree with him. there’s also the small matter of him being able to send information to snake via morphonogenic fields, so if he’s ever the sage, snake would also know who the keymaster is. santa is super useful thanks to him already having done a death game -- he’s good at this. he’s basically counting on his usefulness to keep him alive, in contrast to leon. hes gotta get back to akane at the end of the day he cares NOUGHT abt all these ppl. probably finds the 200 vending machine and the switch in his character (from him being all irritable to wanting to trade tokens w everyone) is cause for concern 

3. byakuya: is an asshole!!! he has to survive bc thats the entire point of his character -- he’s supposed to be the kind of hatesink that just keeps weaselling his way through -- but i’m not opposed to having him in some really sticky situations, because, well, he’s suspicious!! he’s also a really good barterer, so i can’t see the token game being a trouble for him at all. byakuya’s biggest issue is probably going to be people voting for him bc they hate him and ESP w ch2 having the card swapping dynamic he might be in danger there. he also has the impostor to argue with which is just delicious... he also can lie all he likes. i really want both a ‘i see. so now the suspicion falls on me’ moment AND a ‘how can you know what i don’t know?’ moment...

4 & 5. the twins: they cause a massive stir in the first main game, as kaoru is the sacrifice and hikaru is the sage, but they basically impersonate each other, trying to make everyone vote for kaoru-as-hikaru (whom they think is the sage) when he’s actually the sacrifice so they can escape together. this plan falls through obviously and kaoru is killed, but not before he tells hikaru to exist independently and not just as a ~twin~. hikaru basically has a meltdown and becomes unresponsive for a long while, going off by himself and ignoring the group, but he’s smart, kind of devilish, and he might just find something. not gonna lie he’s drawn to kokichi after kaoru dies which makes him very dangerous

6. peko: basically fucks up another main game in a valiant effort to save fuyuhiko and herself. i assume their relationship follows the same misunderstanding as it does in-game, and she takes this to mean that she must act like she doesnt know him but still continue her duties as a ‘tool’ -- she either is the sacrifice or convinces everyone else that fuyuhiko is the keymaster or something, putting herself on the chopping block to keep him alive. it appears she’s aloof, but friendly to everyone else -- nope! she’s faking it to get them all to trust her so she can betray them for fuyuhiko.

7. keebo: is a doll!! the entire time!! it takes some huge reveal to sell him out to everyone but even he doesnt know hes a doll until he’s told!! has a proper meltdown because of it and basically asks to be voted to be killed because ‘i know that my will is my own.’ he wants to save his friends... he loves them real human love and thats all he needed!! hes so cute geez. he doesnt get tokens unless theyre given to him and he never ever lies in a trial thats just how he is 

8. rantaro: a whole freak. hes ~mysterious~ and ~not a bad guy~ (read: someone from HIS previous death game was his partner in the first trial and he let them die bc they were nasty and evil and bad and he doesnt want that energy)... he’s just trying to keep as much of what he knows a secret as possible and he doesn’t really trust easy but he wants everyone to get out alive!! it’s very rare he loses his temper but when he does it’s over something REALLY big he PROPER loses his mind at the twins when they’re pulling their guessing game and later we find out it’s bc he knows exactly what wanting to save your siblings is like (s/o his sisters i love you)

9. gundham: oh he’s like VOCAL abt how much he doesnt trust everybody? obviously he has his dark lord persona and he’s talking abt how he’ll get out of here alive... he goes head to head with togami a lot... his first trial was that one that you can see on the victim videos where the woman has two guns one loaded one not and he has to shoot himself? he’s very very lucky but that keeps in with his russian roulette in the final dead room... he also is VERY good at the puzzles and will step in to help under the guise of ‘you people are all stupid and this is taking too long’. he gets the least amount of tokens in ch2 bc he makes absolutely no effort.

10. masaru: he’s the hero, obviously. he’s just a babey but he’s really good at like... spacial stuff? obviously he’s not all that bright but bc he’s sporty he’s super good at taking one look at a space and knowing the logistics of the room, where people need to be... it also makes him FANTASTIC at attractions if we look at it from a gameplay standpoint masaru is like a walking easy ticket yknow?? i also think he’s good at trading tokens bc he’s more mature than he seems and can and will catch you off guard in order to trade with you. masaru looooooves toko but he also loves leon and souda and gundham. he also wants to try quark’s hat on id love for him to tell me abt the actual game but yknow

Headcanons for dr maddiman's son Cliff cos i have so many feelings

* ok first off his yokai name is dr nocturne and maddiman's hospital was called nocturne clinic so i guess thats the family surname? These poor guys were cursed to a ghostly fate with a name like that! But also doesn't that mean Cliff is literally using his dad's name as a yokai? Thats so fuckin heartwarming!! I like to headcanon that he kept his dad's old name badge from his job and he still wears it to remember him. Its kinda his "soul item" as a yokai, it stays stuck to his ghostly flame even when he's unconcious and if you damage it it does damage to him. But it also means its capable of magically reforming as he heals up, which is a huge relief! I think maybe he found this out after it got destroyed in a big fight one day? So he was shot down to 1hp but also buffed the fuck out in every stat from sheer rage and smashed the guy's head in. And then as he was crying over losing his treasure his tears touched it and it reformed back together...

* When he was very little he really loved his papa! They used to kinda be the childish duo playfully teaming up against serious mom, who'd go full ham playing the villain character in their goofy games. And he really looked up to his dad's super science smartness, and wanted to be just like him someday! Sadly, as he got older he realised that his dad's childishness also had its downsides, and he started wanting to be a doctor to "defeat" his dad more than to honor him. To be better than him and somehow prove him wrong. But also to try and connect to him now he was always so distant, and then to try and chase after his ghost when he was gone...

* i mean that metaphorically as i dont think Cliff ever worked with yokai like his father did. I think even when he became a yokai and started searching for his father he didnt really actually know his father was a yokai too, it was just sort of a distant hope of a second chance. Like "oh shit i guess dad's weird fairytale conspiracy theories were true, there's probably a very small chance he is also floating around somewhere right now". Just a very depressed dude with nothing else much to cling to. He didnt really believe he'd actually find his dad so he had no plans for what to do when they met, and thats why things ended up being all awkward and sad. Well, that and also he inherited his dad's inability to just talk about his damn emotions, gahhh!!

* Cliff's natural hair colour is red, althrough a more normal ginger instead of the blood red he has in his yokai form. He used to get bullied for it and everyone acted like he was a thug even though he was a straight A student. For a short time in his life (around when his dad became distant and he became disillusioned with him), Cliff used to dye his hair black everyday and try everything not to stand out. He did this even after his mum divorced his dad and they moved back to america where his hair colour wasnt as unusual. He had a lot of trouble adjusting and wasnt fluent in english so he still felt like he got judged as a dumb thug no matter where he was or how hard he tried. After his dad died he had trouble coping with his grief because he wanted to just be angry at him forever and not accept how much he missed him, cos it just hurt so much. So all this pent up anger kinda got channelled into self confidence?? Sorta "i have even bigger reasons to be depressed so its easier to deal with the bullying i suppose". He started experimenting with punk and dark styles, embracing his reputation as a "thug" and beibg like "if theyre gonna treat me this way no matter what then i may as well go ham!" So basically he looked 99% like he does as a yokai now, and he totally never turned back. But even though he dressed more bombastic and had more of a crass way of talking he was still continuing to be a straight A student prodigy and trying to defeat his dad in academic achievement and such. He literally never stopped being just a nice dude who was good at school, he just kept getting assumed to be the opposite cos people are judgy bitches... Poor kid...

* He was born with a heart condition that made his health very poor as a baby. He doesnt remember it much cos he was very young, but his parents were SO SCARED! He was constantly having close calls with death and as his dad was a doctor he was often arguing with his coworkers when they said the kid might not live to see his fifth birthday, and being all "let me do the opertion!" "No you have too much of a personal bias" etc etc. Basically it was really fuckin stressful and you can understand why Maddiman would get it into his head tht he was powerless to protect his family through legal means and had to pursue supernatural theories. The earliest thing Cliff can remember from the time he was sick is his dad making up wild stories about how he was gonna conquer the world to save him, lasso the moon to stop time, fight god with his goddamn bare hands, whatever could keep him from losing his only child! Hearing these stories through a feverish haze helped Cliff hang on to life, and onto his dad's warm hand as he sat by his hospital bed. Of course, he did actually survive, and he had multiple surgeries that helped him be able to live a fuller life as he grew up. He was still always quite frail and got exhausted easily, but from his perspective it seemed like nothing big and his parents were just coddling him too much, cos he didnt remember how close he'd come to death.

* Ultimately, this was what lead to his actual death all those years later. Similar to how Maddiman looks to be 20 or 30 in his backstory but as a yokai he acts like just a 45 year old almost-gramps or something instead of 90-100, i feel like if Dr Nocturne seems in his early 20s then maybe when he died as Cliff he was in his late teens? Like it seems that yokai do age and mature but just at a slower rate than humans. So i thought maybe what if Cliff tragically died in a very similar way to his dad? His obsession to become a greater doctor than his dad meant he was working himself too hard in his last year of high school, trying to get into a good university. And because of his weak heart this was risky, and well.. Yeah... Death by overwork. He just had an attack one day while studying and his mother didnt find him in time. He hates himself for this, he feels like in his desperation to not make his dad's mistakes he just made the exact same damn mistake and left her behind...

* As dr nocturne he haunts the nursing home where his mother is still alive, watching over her like a guardian angel. She's trapped in the delusion that he's still alive, keeps telling everyone how proud she is of her son the doctor even though nobody else can see him. The fact that she can see him probably means she doesn't have much time left... Itd be really great if hypothetically some player character could come along and reunite them all before its too late...

5 Ways to Win My Heart

• Compatible interests

I love photography. It would be fun if my future partner loves to take pictures too or perhaps would be willing to be my subject . I also love singing. It would be dreamy if he has good voice who can match mine (naks!). It would be a perfect date if we would go somewhere which has a nice scenery with our ukelele and sing as if we're the only people in that place. I also love everything about night- the cold atmosphere, dramatic scenery and starry night. I would love to stay up til everyone are resting and just talk about life-talk about the people we were before life hit us hard. Aside from this, late night drives! I dont know i just find it peaceful. Although it is gas-consuming, it makes me feel satisfied especially if the person im with is dear to me. Booooks! I would love to learn lessons with someone.

• Chivalry

In a shallow generation like ours, fake chivalry is dominant. Guys keep on imitating the sweet gestures half-heartedly in order to impress the hopeless romantic girls. I want someone who is genuine with his actions. If he doesnt feel like doing it, he shouldnt force it. I want someone to be gentleman but not in a way that he makes me feel like im inferior. I want it all to be balanced. Like for example, splitting the bill, carrying my own bag and etc. I also want him to be true to himself. What he is doing since day one should be continued til we last.

• Practical Choice

With full honesty, i want to look to my guy and my subconscious mind will tell me "He was a practical choice". Not in a sense that he will provide all my needs and wants but in a way that he would help me grow and be better version of myself as well as me to him. As much as possible, i dont want to make libre or buy gifts for him using my parents' income. I want to build an empire with him. I dont just want to feel the kilig , i also want to have a life with him meaning, i want us to build our future together and that i dont want it to be merely words but i also want to execute it. Making babies? Kidding aside. Save the best for last. I want that we will both enhance our financial literacies and apply the lessons that we have learned. Aside from the financial aspect, i also want us to go beyond our comfort zones and reach our full capacities. I want him to be supportive and cooperative in every good acts that i want to achieve.

• Commitment

I want him to stay no matter what happens. In contrary to the idea that there is a mr./ms.right , as i am growing maturely (naks again!), i am learning that it doesnt happen that way. God is giving us the free-will to stay and fight for your relationship or to just end it. I am so difficult to love. Yes, i am pretty, kind, smart and the list goes on (charot pagbigyan) but damn i also have my dark, well surely everybody has but mine is a bit different. I am scarred both physically and emotionally. There are times when i cant even understand myself. This is why i pray that there would be a guy who would stay even after seeing all my imperfections, my downfalls and weird mannerisms. I pray that i would also be commited to him despite of my commitment issues.

• Pursue God

I want him to love God more than he loves me because through that , he will truly know how to treat me better since he will know how valued i am to Him. Aside from this selfish reason, i also want him to grow and mature spiritually. Afterall, he would be the one who will lead our family. I want him to have the right values and firm foundation. I want to have a God-centered relationship, marriage and family. Through also pursuing God, we both will love each other right. But heck, let me get to know Him deeper muna. I am still devilish as of now. I hope that things will be aligned again.

Also completely random information: I bought this dessert for dinner that looks so cute, vanilla with pink-colored Strawberry dots. I think baby would like it. I‘d share with her :)  It‘s impressive that she can hold her own and manage to care for herself/you all while she‘s out. 

Her favorite things are peach and pink and anything strawberry flavored! She’s very brave, too smart for her own good sometimes!

Are there rules that all of you have to stick to no matter what? You really have to trust each other 100% for all this to work, right, I mean if just one of you acts out it affects all of your lives. Also I imagine it can be really scary to take over from someone and not remember where your body was before or what the other person might have used it for (Simon for example..) I mean even such simple things like getting a tattoo could be a really big problem if some are against it or all of you like a different motif. Have there been incidents where Roman had to use the ‚i‘m the host so you gotta listen to me‘ card (and would that even work?) 

We have to be in constant communication with eachother on money and most things we do to the body. Leon use to hurt us or drink or leave scars without our knowledge. Some are stronger than others to push people out of the front (Leon and Loki are the strongest) so it kinda helps having Loki around because his bro ther listens to him.

Can you ‚call‘ each other/switch willingly or is it always triggered by something and then you just have to deal with it until you switch places again? 

Most of the time it’s knowledgeable switching because none of us like drama so we don’t often fight over the front. Sometimes stuff triggers us and then we get all dissociative and spacey and then sudden someone else is out.

Do you leave each other little notes sometimes, like cute ‚good morning‘ post its or smileys?

Baby and Saint leave notes all the time, sometimes Loki complains and leaves those kinda notes.

He does, both of our dogs do! It’s kinda ingesting to see and notice.

Are Simon‘s prophecies always about/for one of you or does he make prophecies for others too? Do you believe in the supernatural or god or life after death?

Simon usually has general prophesies about life around us, but that’s because it’s what he experiences. Yeah most of us do, it’s complicated but we choose to come back.

Honestly if I were Roman I would be soo curious who Amor’s in love with and maybe even try to get Leon to tell me if Amor doesnt want to (I know, I know, it would be mean but still..I’d die of curiosity XD 

It’s been like this for long enough and he gets weird if we push it.

If you are angry at each other will the kids do stuff like delete each other’s posts on here or are they all as mature as babywhen it comes to respecting the other person’s privacy?

The kids break people stuff sometimes or hide stuff but most of them don’t directly use tumblr. There’s always a certain level of pettiesness when people are upset and live too close.

By the way I have a crystal collection too in case Trinket gets bored by Roman’s collection sometime ;)

Very similar to a ball jointed doll or porcelain. Very long lashes and super blond curly hair, that’s where their name is from!

Also.. may I ask how you got out of the abuse situation? Like.. did you move out on your own or did someone notice and help you? If anything I ask is triggering for you I sincerely apologize and hope you can ignore that question.

Some of it was self made, falling in love with dangerous people, trusting others who shouldn’t be. We have been lucky to either move, or drop contact. Not without its heartbreak though.

P.S. Your last posts sounded like you are in a bad place right now. Do you want your readers/followers to ask you what‘s wrong/talk to you then or do you prefer to just vent/get out the emotions on your own?

To be honest is one of the most beautiful things i’ve read, not only because very personal reasons. I love how despite the mess is jojos as something “bizarre” has a precious message about defeat fate and become someone on this life.

When I was reading this volume i started to analyze better this (ofc Araki it didnt plan this since the beggining but he made sense on these years) with Jonathan and Dio Brando’s ambitions.

One wants to become a gentleman someone pure and useful on this life

Dio,for other side wants to become someone powerful being noticed that even...he rejects his humanity, the path he choses is chaotic but he sure has the couarge for do it.

Jonathan on his journey learns to be more mature and smart for fight agaisnt it, even if has a bad ending, he has the “power” for change the people (example.Speedwagon,Erina,etc.) even if that means he has to sacrifice himself.

and is a topic that stills on the arcs...DEFEAT THE FATE.

Battle Tendency even desafies the logic (3 allmighty and inmortal gods) vs luck (Joseph’s talent) that everything is possible if you work hard enough.

Stardust Crusaders is save your be,loved ones doesnt matter if is so fuckin far, or dangerous or do i have to remind Jotaro’s words before the end “ I'm tired of hearing that things are impossible or useless “

Diamond is Unbreakable is about....fight for the way you want to live,doesnt matter what. Kira is a clear example with his fucked up actions, Josuke only wants some cash,Okuyasu wants to save his father or Koichi becomes more braver. More than friendship power is have a clear goal...AND GO FOR IT

Vento Aureo is the most clear...Gio has evil DIO’s blood but yet...as Dio manipulates people, Gio inspires them even if his reasons (imo) arent that realistic but yet are pure. Also Buccellati how he saved everyone on his gang and gave them another chance for live...not the best life (you know,gangster) but is better than die on the streets.

Stone Ocean.... this is an especific case because the tragic fate but,even Araki mentions it on the last volume

Steel Ball Run....Johnny has to defeat his disability, Gyro goes agaisnt his own country or Valentine tryin to save his country *even* if his methods were chaotic, is a self discovery trip where here Araki made more complex situations than “this is good or this is bad”, you can even pick your side.

Jojolion is self discovery trip...about find your fate and find your own happiness.
