/ ok so! I don’t know about yq’s favs but I can talk about what would be my Daybit’s favorites dinos; which I will limit to a small list from diff periods in no specific order;

T-rex: This is a pretty common favorite if not the most easy to recognize; probably one if not the first dinosaurs that would come to someone’s mind when mentioning dinos as a whole. He likes them because they are easy to talk about with others (As he is not the smoothest talker out there) as there is usually a general idea about them even if a lot of it is still founded on old movies and information about them like as an example; the idea that t-rex had this massive roar, recent studies have concluded that bc of the way their skulls were formed + their closest relatives alongside other proof, they could have not been able to do anything more than closed mouth vocalizations, something like a deep hiss/grunt; test sounds actually sound even more scary than the roars. As such this goes on; in all truth. he doesn’t really mind this and would just inform you about what differs.

Therizinosaurus: He finds it curious the rather unusual anatomy of this one; although a lot of dinosaurs did use to have short forelimbs, this one is very unique as it used to be the dino with the (or one of the) longest claws reaching aprox 50+cm in lenght with very lil curvature, kind of like scissors tbh (picture down below for ref), despite this, I read that there’s a possibility they were herbivores bc of its possible ties with other mammals (principally herbivores) and that their long claws were useful for tearing through vegetation more easily rather than them being used for attacking and stuff. He likes this one bc despite its intimidating appearance, it is not what it shows to be.

troodon: chicken looking (Headcanon that daybit likes birds as association to dinos so true-), colorful. Actually had a remarkable brain size in relation to its overall size + compared to other current reptiles which led to think that this guy could have been maybe as smart as some of our current birds. Probably had some big ol eyes at that too. Kind of cute

Sauroposeidon: one of the biggest ones, so big that initially their fossils were thought to be pieces of petrified wood; which makes sense as their necks are so long that they looked more like trunks of trees rather than a neck. He likes this one because its so tall it looks quite surreal, he’ll stand in a museum and look up for a long while thinking about his own physical insignificance-

honorable mentions that i won’t write about but that are interesting to him; linhenykus, psittacosaurus, helicoprion (shark tm), dunkleosteus, deinocheirus

Iwas planning to post this when I’m done with all of their designs for the AU but I’m just too excited

Chef Heavy/Misha !! He belongs to a simple AU, Chef Umami AU !! More explaining in under the cut

Chef Umami is a VR (kinda) Game, you cook and serve food to hungry customers that give you a list of what they want you to make for them.

The AU is basically Heavy opening up a small food joint to support his family, where he encounters customers (THE OTHERS MERCS, YAY :-D !!) and gets to know more of them.

I know the AU doesn’t have much lore but that’s just what the game is too, but I’ll try to add more pazazz to it !

Also just a small thing I wanted to point out, someone on a tf2 discord server suggested his icon should be a pumpkin which slightly resembles his fist icon which I really love !! And he gets a cool sandvich apron because HE GETS ONE !!!!!

─Summary: you were trying to have a relaxing afternoon playing minecraft with the team and ended up making a new friend

It's your lucky day because I was thinking of updating this miniseries soon so… 👀

You sat on your chair, turning around a couple of times until decided that you should enter the Discord voice chat that you shared with the guys on the team, you didn't use it much, but it was fine when you all had to discuss some things about training. But today you weren't here for any of that. You clicked on the group icon, immediately being greeted by different voices.

"Are we all here?"

"I don't understand why I'm doing this."

"It will be fun Iwa-chan!"

You sighed silencing the group until you could enter the game,you had been very addicted these last few days playing Minecraft, so much so that you proposed to create a server to be able to connect with friends and play. You clicked on the logo waiting several minutes, when it was loaded you went back to Discord to let them know that they could enter the world now but you only heard screams and screams from your classmates calling you.

"(N)?"

"(Nn)? Have you forsaken us?"

"She's been online the whole time."

"Is she muted? It doesn't surprise who would want to listen to shittikawa?""

"Hey! shut up, I'll make a better house than yours and then I'll hunt you Iwa-chan!"

"That, that! Show him who's boss Oikawa."

Matsukawa's laughter was heard, encouraging the rivalry between friends.

"I don't think Iwaizumi will be defeated so easily, right?"

"I'll kill that idiot and have the best house."

"I bet on Oikawa."

"Huh? Really Makki? then I go for Iwaizumi."

"Oi don't bet on us!"

"Makki you have made a good choice! but what exactly are we betting?"

"Mmh, now that you mention it I don't know, any ideas guys?"

"Whoever loses pays for a dinner for the whole team."

Both parts agreed with the proposal that Kunimi had made, immediately reaching a deal, chaos would return to the chat if it weren't for a grunt and a blow, creating a silence, which you took advantage of to speak.

"Guys, you can join the server now."

"I'll win against Iwa-chan so that he and Mattsun pay!"

"I don't think it was a good idea to agree to join."

"Yahaba, don't be so negative, I'll help you with your house and get materials."

"Thank you (N), I really adore you."

"Could I also have some help?"

"Sure Kindaichi, I guess I'll have to help you with the main thing."

You all started with the basics, gather some wood, kill a couple of sheep, create a small house until it got dark. Right now you were playing alone without using voice chat, you were concentrating on mining until you heard an explosion followed by a message in the in-game chat.

[King_Oikawa has been blown up by a creeper]

You couldn't help but giggle as watched your companions foolishly die one after the other because of the creatures of the night.

[Makkinotfound has been killed by a zombie]

[Yahaba_pro has tried swimming in lava]

[xXKentaroXx has drowned]

[Mattsun777 exploded]

[Iwaplay has fallen from a very high place]

You came out of your house armed with a stone sword, killing some zombies and skeletons, you met the first year boys who were trying not to get killed by a mini zombie that was running around like a demon. You got into a voice chat where only the three of you were, you were trying to help them.

"Help us please, we haven't finished the house yet."

"Sure, what do you need?"

"How do you make a torch?"

"Oh, Kunimi, let me guide you while Kindaichi finishes filling that hole with this."

You tossed Kindaichi some wood, then you explain to his partner how to craft some things, Kunimi really got interested in how to build a bed while the turnip boy was trying not to get hit by arrows. After a long while and ending up helping the third year pranksters a bit as well, you muted the voice chat again. You frowned looking at the game screen where a new message had appeared, apparently no one had noticed that another person had entered the game.

[Applepie has entered]

'I forgot to put a password to the server? what if they're a hacker or something? Nah.'

[(N): hello??]

[Applepie: oh I think I got the wrong serv]

[(N): don't worry, at least you're not a hacker or something]

[(N): or so I hope…]

[Applepie: I'm not]

[Applepie: Some servers are down and I thought this would be fine, your IP was open]

[(N): well it's just a server between friends, but you can stay and play :)]

[Applepie: thanks]

[Applepie: I think I'll stay, no lag here]

[(N): feel comfortable in Seijoland]

[Applepie: I will]

[(N): maybe we could talk on discord? If you don't mind of course]

[(N): I would like to have a internet friend]

[Applepie: ok]

You practically spent the whole afternoon playing with the boy named Kenma, you both had a good time, apparently had some things in common.

"Then he left me in the tree for an hour."

"I should meet your friends, they seem interesting."

You laughed at Kenma's story, according to a very tall boy from his club, he left him on the branch of a tree to take a picture of him as if he were a kitten but forgot to come back for him.

"Your friends also seem… curious."

"Believe me, you couldn't bear to spend much time with them."

[King_Oikawa: i just finished my house]

[King_Oikawa: mattsun and Iwa will be paying the team a dinner!!]

[Mattsun777: sorry dude, i don't think so]

A 'tss' followed by an in-game explosion was heard, the characters of Kenma and you looked at each other silently wondering the same thing in their minds.

"Did they just blow up the house of that 'King Oikawa'?"

"Yeah, they're betting."

"I guess they take it very seriously."

"No one wants to pay a dinner for the entire team."

"Understandable."

You two continued to ignore the boys chatting about Oikawa's house, while you asked your online friend for help to build something like an area so they could fight for that dinner. The rest of the team seemed to be starting to understand the game more so they were exploring everything without any help from their manager.

"Kenma, are you playing again?"

A faint voice came over the call, as Kenma's character stopped.

"Don't you have to bother Lev or something?"

"No, I like to bother you." the voice was getting closer to the microphone "Are you playing with someone else?"

"Yes."

You laughed at the clear irritation of your recent friend, catching the newcomer's attention.

"Hey? Are you playing with a girl?"

"Yeah, and she's listening to you, so shut up."

"Hello! I'm Ku-"

There was a blow followed by curses, several whispers, and finally Kenma spoke again, irritation spilling over his tone.

"I'm disconnecting now, my friend is very annoying."

"Okay, see you Kenma."

"Bye (N)."

Before he could hang up you heard a scream over the line.

"Now I know her name!"

Returning to your team who were still arguing over who should pay, you decided that was enough. You went through all the houses not understanding how Mattsun and Makki had built a bunker out of diamond blocks, Kunimi and Kindaichi had accidentally burned down their house for trying to make a Nether portal, or how Kyotani was chasing Yahaba with a bucket of lava because apparently he had accidentally killed Kentaro's dog. You blinked a few times to laugh out loud hitting your desk and inadvertently joining the voice call again.

"What is (N) laughing at?"

"From your trash home Iwa-chan."

"The only garbage here is you."

[Iwaplay has killed King_Oikawa]

"Hey! That's cheating."

When your laughing fit stopped, you were able to speak correctly, still with a mocking smile on face, trying to stabilize yourself, since it began to hurt your chest from laughing so much.

"Guys, why are your houses totally blown up?"

Apparently neither Iwaizumi nor Oikawa were near their houses because just hearing what you said they screamed in surprise.

"WHAT?"

"NOO my house dude!"

"Okay, break!" yelled Iwaizumi. The boys were already well past their actual break, but the captain apparently hadn't seen fit to release the players for their water break.

The brown-haired setter literally ran to his sports bag, which for once was next to his water bottle, to text you that he had completely forgotten about your date and if he could make up for it this weekend.

When he turned on his phone, he directly saw your 0:27 voice message at the top of his notifications.

He tapped it, entered his PIN and played the message immediately.

"Listen Oikawa. I'm tired of getting dumped over and over again. This is the FIFTH time THIS month alone that you just don't show up for our dates. It's-" your voice was interrupted by another, louder and deeper.

"(Y/nn), are you coming? The movie is about to start," Kageyama called, probably, from a little further away.

"Yes, just a moment Tobio!" you shout, "It's over. I don't want to hear from you anymore. Don't call me, don't text me, don't come to Karasuno, and if we ever meet again, pretend we don't know each other and I don't exist!"

Only now did Tōru see that the image next to your name consisted only of the gray icon. (Y/n) blocked me, fuck!

The brown-haired man stared at his phone. Even after minutes, he didn't take his eyes off your chat. And when his phone went off, his gaze was like locked with his device.

After minutes of silence, Iwaizumi wondered why his best friend did not give the usual speech and then sent the team back to play. Therefore, he told the boys that they were allowed to overstay their break today and best to sit out, after all, the weather was quite nice for mid-November.

The players didn't complain, because normally Oikawa didn't give them an extra long break and made the training extra hard. They all knew it was for their own good. Without the captain's efforts, they would never have gotten as far as they did.

So while they were going out, Iwaizumi made his way over to Tōru, who was still staring at the screen of his phone.

"What's wrong, Shittykawa?" wordlessly, the brown-haired man turned his cell phone back on and played the message one more time. Iwaizumi couldn't help but laugh.

"That's not funny, Iwa! I really liked them," he narrowed his eyes in offense.

"You didn't," Iwaizumi rolled his eyes. Who is he trying to foul?

"Sure I do!!"

"No, if you really liked, or loved them as much as you claim, you would never have treated them like that. No one treats someone they love with as little respect and seriousness as you did," said his best friend with a serious voice and an equally serious look.

"That's not true at all!" he muttered.

"Of course that's true," Iwaizumi laughed again, he just couldn't stay serious. The vice-captain actually liked you quite a bit. You didn't deserve to be treated like that by the boy in front of him.

"You just left them to Kageyama like that. If you'd had even an ounce of feeling for (y/n), this never would have happened!"

And then something clicked in Oikawa's head. Maybe you weren't as important to him as he thought. Maybe he only wanted you because it was obvious that Kageyama had a crush on you since the first grade of middle school. He had only started something with you because he wanted to hurt Kageyama, but he hadn't managed to do that. Again, he lost to the annoying, blue-haired king of the court.

"And if they really mean as much to you as you just claimed, then stick to what they said and let them be happy with Tobi. You know they had a crush on him in middle school, they probably still do to this day."

Again, it clicked. And this click was much worse. His eyes grew huge as the realization hit him. He had only been a substitute, a substitute for Kageyama Tobio.
