It's a silly little headcanon with the singular piece of evidence going for it being literally only that Izuku's father has a fire quirk.

It's just hilarious to me.

There is so much potential for drama and comedy; just the irony that Enji indeed created the perfect successor that would finally surpass All Might...except it's not the child he thought it would be and it wasn't even due to his own merit. *chef's kiss*

Fic Title Game: Pretending to be Endeavor's Secret Love Child, for Fun and for Profit

Izuku finds out that he's All for One's son shortly before he starts at U.A. To say he's unhappy would be putting it mildly. When Shouto asks if he is All Might's lovechild, Izuku answers "I wish" and dumps his own tragic backstory in return. Then Izuku and Shouto get into a huge argument about who has the worst dad. 

Izuku: My dad is the number one villain!

Shouto: Exactly! You’re allowed to kill him, then he’ll be gone from your life forever. No one will let me kill my father!

In the end, they agree to swap fathers. Izuku tells everyone at U.A. that he is Endeavor's secret love child. Since Izuku gets the family credit card, he spends massive amounts of Endeavor's money on All Might merch. Izuku and Inko both move into the Todoroki house. Endeavor is so busy with work it takes him a week to notice. They both act like he should know them, so Endeavor thinks that he forgot about some relatives on his wife’s side coming to visit and keep trying to subtly figure out their names.

Shouto goes all-in pretending to be All for One's son. He dresses up in a black overcoat. He dyes his hair black, paints his nails black, and puts on a lot of eyeshadow. With angsty sighs, he tells anyone who will listen about his tragic fate to kill his villain father.

Everyone at U.A. varies drastically on how much they swallow the story, on a scale from Aizawa (who knows it's all nonsense) to All Might (totally believes it.) All Might has been counseling Izuku about his family issues and assigned a protection detail to Shouto in case All for One comes after him.

The first time Class 1-A encounters the League of Villains, Shouto plays his part so convincingly that Tomura goes back to chew his sensei out for being a deadbeat dad. Tomura does not approve of bad fathers.

All for One: Look, I know I haven’t called Izuku lately--

Tomura: You have MORE children you’ve been neglecting? Does this mean you homewrecked the number two hero’s family?

All for One: Say what? Izuku is my only child!

Tomura: Your other kid has both an ice and a fire quirk, which he clearly stole. Don’t try to lie your way out of this one!

Dabi ought to know it's all a lie but the Todoroki conspiracy theorist in him keeps asking, "What if Dad had an affair, and then Mom had an affair in revenge? Who should I kill then?"

Not So Ordinary AU: Todoroki thinks Ippan is All Might's secret love child after seeing her use One For All at the USJ.

He has a one-sided rivalry with Izuku because he sees his Firebreath as similar to Endeavor's Hellflame and wants to defeat him with just ice.

Hehe, I just realized the connection between Endeavor's Quirk being called Hellflame and Izuku being a Hellhound.

I'm not sure he'd make the connection without seeing them interact the way he does in canon. Todoroki first became suspicious of Midoriya because of his lunch meeting with All Might combined with the pressure he exerted at the Sports Festival.

He does however totally have a one-sided rivalry with Midoriya because of the fire, yes. Which raises interesting questions about how the Sports Festival went, and if he would've been part of the Stain fight

Anyway, as funny and abrupt as it is that Shouto asked Izuku if he was All Might's secret love child, it's thematically important that Shouto is the one asking this

Because fatherhood to Shouto is intrinsically linked with the concept of succession. Endeavor is Shouto's father because he wanted a successor that could surpass All Might. The implication here is that something about Izuku's relationship with All Might reminds him of his own with Endeavor (i.e. the hero's inordinate amount of focus on one child's progress over others). In a roundabout way, Shouto is also asking if Izuku is All Might's successor (and establishing both Shouto and Izuku and All Might and Endeavor as character foils)

Also got his own post but in gist, he is a child experiment made from the DNA of AFO and All Might. He is used as an execution method and a way to control heroes under the HSPC.

Quirk : "Prometheus", An AFO variant with the ability to give and take quirks but their power is boosted upon being received. (IE. Small Objects Telekinesis -> Full Range Telekinesis.) However, the quirk taken can never be returned to the owner as the body rejects it and must be given to a new host. The user can't keep too many quirks either or he becomes ill.

Izuku's estranged evil twin. This one was just a joke but I love him he is my evil son.

Quirk : Heat Sink, he is capable of altering the temperature of things he touches with his palms. He can transfer heat between objects and even build it up if he holds multiple. However, if he does too much, he will give himself a fever or chill and need to stop.

Teal

Yukuto Midoriya-Yuga

A child created during a quirk accident. Also a joke but I love him.

Quirk : Laser-breath, he can fire lasers from his mouth. His teeth hurt if he does it too much.

Blue

Homura Todoroki

Endeavor's secret lovechild-- created with a quirk in an attempt to get a new "masterpiece" during Shoto's rebellious not-using-fire period. He has multiple illnesses and does not have a quirk.

Usagi : 卯沙伎 (卯 - Rabbit, 沙 - Sift, 伎 Art/Skill) Shiro/Shirou: 紫朗 ( 紫 - Purple, violet, 朗 - Cheerfulness)

The rabbit-heteromorph general education art teacher at UA. He's known for being incredibly cheerful and has a high approval rating among the public. However, he's kind've an oblivious idiot sometimes. Would unironically believe you if you tell him your dog ate your homework.

Quirk : Brain Trick, your basic telekinesis-telepathy mix. Works by using the electricity in the brain.

Kiryuu Senketsu

A normal guy with a demon quirk who is constantly mistaken for a villain by people around town. He hops from job to job as he gets fired quickly when complaints come piling in. Even his own sweet old grandmother thinks he is a villain, but she is weirdly supportive of it.

Quirk : Demon, he has the physical traits befitting a demon and can use basic "magic". Uses it for menial labor and to get the chips from the kitchen without having to wake his grandma up.

An AU with homewrecker AFO. Izuku is Yagi Toshinori secret lovechild. Toshinori knows of his existence but stayed away in order not to endanger them and sent tons of child support. Inko is so oblivious that is painful.

I hope I interpreted this how you meant, should be fun either way at least tho

1- Toshinori was very careful when stepping away from Inko and Izuku, setting up every protection and child support lock. He can come back when AfO is dead, but before then, he can't risk it. He can't risk one or both dying, like Nana's husband did. The family is set up, protected, and waiting.

2- AfO still finds them. Or rather, his doctor finds Izuku. Quirkless children are rare these days, and even more so when he heard both parents had a quirk. Ujiko asks if AfO gave out any fire breathing quirks recently, because an employee/debtor likely forgot to inform them of a family. But AfO has done no such thing, and is curious, and looks into it.

3- thing is, he doesn't figure out Izuku's All Might's son. But he does realize something is very suspicious about the father, and he can't figure out what. His theories change by the day, from this "Hisashi" being a quirkless man hiding out of fear of rumors of AfO, to being a rival international villain, to being a secret politician or royal, to being Endeavor hiding a one night stand. He's curious, and this little family is the most interesting puzzle he's had to stave off boredom with in a long while.

4- Inko is oblivious. She has no description of AfO, and doesn't realize this "Hajime" fellow around the neighborhood is actually trying to flirt with her on purpose. He's clearly new, and has no idea what to do with himself in a place mostly inhabited by families with young children. When he shows up to the park in the middle of the day, she assumes he's having trouble at work, perhaps even recently fired. When he asks about her day, or her son, anther outcast, he's clearly lonely. She starts inviting him to dinner, or sending over leftovers, because frankly he gives of the vibes of someone who'd struggle to make instant ramen. AfO feels like he's getting mixed signals, because every time he asks her out he gets a casual reminder that she's married but would love to introduce him to some very nice single people she works with, but then she also invites him to dinner at her house? What does it mean? (It means Inko is treating him like a little brother. He's unfamiliar with this.)

5- izuku thinks the neighbor is fun to talk with about quirks, and useful for math homework, but weird about Mom and even weirder about heroes. He doesn't even like All Might! He feels bad about feeling relief when Hajime is injured and won't be around for a while. But all thoughts of that leave him when he opens the door to different tall, fair haired man at the door, asking about Inko and him, holding a bunch of flowers in one hand and wrapped gift in the other, looking two seconds from crying and one second from hugging him.

"Oh great," the nine year old thinks as his mother calls that she'll be at the door in a minute, "another attempted homewrecker."

I LOVE the villains. I adore tenko and while I stand by my decision to write him out early in bitter rivalry, I also always thought it was a shame, because I love him. I'm not caught up on the manga but my friend is keeping me up to date... seems like horikoshi is really tapping into the fantastic potential of tenko's character as someone who was groomed since childhood to become this destructive monster and was never given the chance to form a healthy sense of identity... and the parallels with izuku? how they were both these timid little abused children who idolized heroes even though they had mixed feelings about whether or not heroes could actually be trusted? because they needed something to believe in? oh my god

I also find keigo to be very compelling, and touya as well, and how they interact with each other. the concept of keigo who was essentially BOUGHT by the government as a child and raised into this maximum-pressure role???? doing all this fucked up shit, like becoming a spy in this nationally feared terrorist organization, and murdering jin who was his friend, and betraying dabi who he had so much in common with, and that's to say nothing of his normal hero life which involves having the whole entire world on his shoulders, publicly, at all times. and he's like. literally my age. girl

and then touya????? one thing I lowkey can't forgive canon for is that touya told the whole world what enji did, and the whole world just decided to do nothing about it. honestly I preferred fanon touya before he released that video in the manga, when all the dabi fics had him going around killing abusers and shit as vicarious revenge against his dad instead of just murdering innocent people to spite his dad. but either way touya as one of the people the hero system actively victimizes - the son of a violent abuser who is worshipped for the exact same aggression he wields against his wife and kids - and touya's refusal to lie down and let it happen, his decision to fight back with all his strength no matter how much of a monster it makes him... now that's good

How about an AU where Tomura gets into the conspiracy that Izuku is All Might's secret love child, much to Dad for One's annoyance.

1 - As many things in life, it's Dabi's fault.

2 - Dabi has a whole theory that Midoriya is All for One's secret lovechild. To mess with him, Tomura threw at him the All Might's secret lovechild theory, which drives Dabi (more) insane because it doesn't make sense! However, the more Tomura argued for this theory, the more he realized that it made sense, until he got a "I connected the two dots" moment.

3 - Sensei keeps telling him that it's wrong and that he would know if All Might had a child (or even someone in his life) but Tomura is obsessed. Dabi and him go to the mall explicitely to find Izuku and to get some answers but it fails because Endeavor's son sees Dabi, says something that suspiciously looks like "raccoon" and Dabi catches on fire.

4 - In the Summer Camp, the LoV, who is living for the drama between Dabi and Tomura, decides to capture Izuku instead of Katsuki. AFO says no. The LoV says "Whoops, we totally accidentally kidnapped him." Izuku the tells them that his father is a salaryman with a firebreathing quirk but all the LoV hears is "My deadbeat dad abandoned me because he had more important things to do."

5 - After a round of group therapy and the whole Kamino fight, Tomura and Dabi are now convinced that Izuku is All Might and AFO's secret lovechild. However, since they don't want to admit the other was even half right, they pretend not to have seemingly cracked the code.

5 hc game: Izuku is Endeavor's secret love child; he doesn't know, but Shoto definitely does

“Sadly, All Might isn’t my father,” Izuku tells Shouto. “ My father Midoriya Hisashi has a fire-breathing Quirk.”

At the Todoroki family home, Shouto narrows his eyes at Endeavor. “I hope you know,” Shouto starts. “That your green-haired lovechild is spending your child support money on All Might merch. And also, your alter ego name sucks.”

Endeavor, utterly shocked: “…If I stop forcing you to follow my footsteps, can you keep it hush-hush and we shall call it even?”

During the Endeavor Internship arc, Endeavor attempts to get to know his secret love child better. Izuku is bewildered over the free Endeavor merch bundles that the agency keeps on giving him. He can’t complain, because he could sell these to get MORE All Might merch!

All Might is a bit jealous over how much Izuku had improved under Endeavor’s mentorship, compared to his own.

During the Tartarus Escapees arc, this would become infinitely funnier as Endeavor and All Might are at odds with each other regarding Izuku’s safety and wellbeing while poor Shouto is playing in a sandbox by himself at U.A., feeling rather jealous for the first time over the blatant child favoritism.

bkdk au where deku's hero brand twt acc is super popular & often his agency uses it to post promo pics of him on the job for his fans but recently there been more candid pics of him out of his suit grocery shopping & drinking coffee. they're like who IS TAKING ALL THESE PICS?? the fans are used to professional photos taken of deku shielding a kid against a crumbling building and deku sitting on top of a tower as he oversee the city he's protecting like standard heroic photos but this is the first time they see deku so unfiltered and approachable.

at first they thought maybe it's just a new style of promo ya know trying to make deku more human instead of this larger than life figure, that he's not always deku BUT ALSO izuku yet compare to the promo pics of the past the new ones are captionless and seems "ordinary" in fact. the 'heroic' pics are still being posted regularly and it's always have a caption attached: "hero deku saved a child!" etc it's all really dry and robotic lol standard promo lines but these new candid pics are posted randomly and there's never a sentence or word attached to them. compare to the pro pics of deku on the job looking courageous and noble, this version of deku--IZUKU under the suit---seems to be taken w a phone or something bc its clumsy and raw; it's izuku stripped to his bare essentials smiling at the camera shyly like he didn't expect it.

so rumors spread that it's deku's assistant or someone from his agency taking these candid pics to show the 'true deku' that he's just like everyone else!!! but then one day theres new pic of izuku w messy hair holding back a yawn as he climb out of the BED and ppl are like ????? unlike the other candid pics of izuku doing everyday things this is a more intimate look bc IZUKU is in bed and who the fuck would let their assistant or someone from their job to go into their bedroom and take pics of them waking up??? so maaaaaybe it's not from his agency??? the next series of pics continue to fall under the same theme of intimate and private look of deku in his most natural habitat: napping under the sun w a book on his chest AND waking from it as he smiled softly at the person behind the camera nuzzling his cheek against their hand. unlike the rest of the other candid photos, this is incredibly LEWD. like deku still has his clothes on and he's not doing anything scandalous but it's worst then watching a porno bc this felt so warmth and affectionate in a way that they all felt terribly voyeuristic LOL /o\.

Not quite true but very funny

I have so many BNHA theories that I’ve yet to discuss… generally I don’t share these bc they’ve prolly already been said and also I don’t really interact with others past posting art and liking things so I’m nervous to try something new… but it’s almost 4am and 4am is the chaos hour so I must. Here are three that are on my mind. (All Might’s Muscular form, Todoroki isn’t a conspiracy theorist, does Izuku actually have green hair??)

All Might’s muscular form: Ok, so I’ve def seen ppl joke it’s his secret quirk that he didn’t know about, but he’s definitely quirkless before… plus, the form is a newer thing/ since the organ-yeeting fight, Teen Might is shown to constantly be muscular. So Small Might must be his real physical form. He explained it like sucking his gut in, and that worked to subdue me for a while, bc, you know, suspension of disbelief and it has comedic effect, but at this point in the manga, I can say that everything this seems purposeful and narrators are unreliable. So how does he transform?? It’s none of the past user’s quirks. I have reached the conclusion that void reality bending was in effect in outside-the-void. Firsty, and least obviously: he emits smoke when deflating, which is kinda similar to the smoke in void covering Izuku, and Vestige Might, this is a stretch. Secondly, and most obviously: the void let’s ppl return to their past forms. Izuku turns into his kid-self in the void and then back to teen-self. So does Tenko/Tomura. It’s also connected to emotions- it would make sense for All Might to gain his heroic form when trying to be heroic in void logic. I can’t explain why the void logic would effect reality, or the time limit; this one comes with the stipulation that if the time limit was consistent before he passed on the quirk and only started decreasing then, then it still would make sense, it just wouldn’t if it was decreasing before he passed OFA.

Todoroki isn’t a conspiracy theorist: A lot of ppl do crack headcannons of Shoto being a conspiracy theorist for assuming Izuku was All Might’s love child. I honestly enjoy this headcannon, but even outside of it, I see ppl dismissing the scene as a joke due to the absurdity, which it’s supposed to be seen as. But it was a completely logical assumption on Todoroki’s side. He was watching Midoriya early on and the way he talked about All Might and the way they consistently interacted, and shared similar quirks. He saw the pressure Midoriya put on himself because of All Might. What Shoto really was asking Midoriya when he asked if he was All Might’s love child was if Midoriya was in the same situation as him (a child forced to carry their parent’s legacy). The fact that he saw himself and Endeavor in Izuku and All Might is… I’m not sure. Anyhow, I find this accusation to be pretty dark, not just the joke it’s presented as.

Does Midoriya actually have green hair??: lighthearted after the last one lol. he’s consistently described as plain with freckles. Curly green hair is not plain at all. Black hair is. Anyhow, lots of shows have characters with black hair have their hair colored blue for contrast or smthn. Additionally, it’s only the highlights, so it could just be a trick of the light. Does anyone remember horikoshi actually confirming his hair to be green? My final piece of evidence is that horikoshi colors izuku’s hair inconsistently. Sometimes it’s highlights are green, others cyan/turquoise, I’ve even seen green and yellow. Clearly, he wasn’t quirkless but his quirk slowly changes color over time. Of course, in the anime it’s green; but they’ve already gotten Touya’s hair wrong once, and again— maybe it’s just for contrast or smthn but is meant to be read as black…. I don’t really believe this one but also it’s funny so should be cannon
