Was blessed to venerate the Ivory Icon of the Mother of God this Sunday, and to be anointed with the myrrh she streams. Growing up Protestant, I never learned a reverence for the Theotokos. And truly, I have never venerated any icon before. While waiting in the long line of excited Romanians, I began to speak to her, as I refused to kiss a woman I knew nothing of. I know so little of Orthodoxy and religious imagery as a whole, I could truly only identify Jesus on the walls that held me. With such grace and gentility, she highlighted herself to me. A kind and wise nudge toward her being. In a beautiful and royal purple, eyes almost always fixed on her son. Even only now, it occurs to me how I can never begin to understand Christ and the miracle of His humanity without understanding the person and motherhood of Mary. What a blessing she has been to me in such a short time.

La Virgen de Guadalupe ¿Es mentira? ¿De dónde proviene la Virgen de Guadalupe?

Si bien, ya se sabía que los derechos de la virgen no son mexicanos y que también el nahuatl tiene morfologías enseñadas por China, porque la historia está en nuestros abuelos y bisabuelos... que ya sabían sus raíces - "No hija... nuestro idioma, nuestra cultura viene de china, viene de lejos..."-

Se imaginan si esa teoría es cierta, que gracias a una uniformidad tibetana por el horror que se veía en tierra indígena y que fue creada con geometría sagrada, dominadores y símbolos con valores humanos e inducida con poderes psíquicos espirituales para asegurar el futuro de la espiritualidad.... y que lleguen los de mi generación a decir "Es una mentira, ni es de verdad..." y se comporten como personas sin valores, sin respeto por lo que fue la mayor unificación espiritual-emocional-humana .... :S

Creo que el problema no es creer o no si es algo real, el problema es que no captan el mensaje humano y por lo tanto NO van a entender el significado espiritual, porque no pueden ni llegar al respeto. No pueden llegar al despertar de la conciencia.

La gente está dejando de creer y el mundo se está llenando más de horror. Piensan que están saliendo de la matrix pero en realidad no conocen ni han traspasado el 1% debido a su alardeo de que no quieren ser "controlados" o piensan que consumiendo drogas ya son "espirituales" y que "desprecian" a la iglesia por su historia.

En fin... a veces no me comparto muchas de mis compresiones porque es chamba personal de cada uno.

Today I started my period AND a huge thunderstorm is a brewing so I decided to do a ritual for Aphrodite. (lol) I asked for guidance and gifted her sweet smells, sugar, honey, incense, tea even and then I pulled out my tarot cards…she was not afraid to be honest😭 But man she was so kind too and made me so hopeful, thank you Universe thank you Lady Aphrodite. I hate the fact that there are no botanicas around where I live. The nearest one is like 2 hours away! It truly is a miracle that the Dollar General in front of my house at least has candles to La Virgen de Guadalupe! 😩
