lays down on my back and stares up at the sky, hands folded on top of my stomach. this is no different than the apocalypse. well, no. let me step back.

leo faces an end. an inevitable one. as inevitable as any, yes, but a sacrifice. is that all leos are ever made for? prison dimensions and leadering and losing arms and facing down death to save the world. maybe fate truly is just that cruel. maybe little leo was right.

and...theres good in this, as there is light to any shadow. he will live. he will see the world, he will travel with casey, he will talk to little leo.

yet he faces an end.

of course, we all do. but of course, its a sacrifice. one that may come in a year, in ten, in twenty. looming. the threat of the kraang, they still loom over the horizon. like the technodrome above four young teens, like the kraang hounds sniffing out fresh blood, like the kraang biding their time for centuries, alone.

the horse is coming. do you hear it? the apocalypse. the gallop of hooves. the drip of sticky slime, of things not of this earth, of arms ripped from socket and the growl of hounds, the angry cries of a bloodthirsty alien scorned.

they follow. they follow his every footstep.

and yes, he will live. and what a gift! god, what a gift, to live. there is beauty in this, even if the end may be bittersweet.

but the horse is following. do you hear it?

A trip down memory lane! Though the tower seems to have changed…

Celestial tower! Built during the direct aftermath of the Founding Unovan Civil War, it remains a cultural landmark in memory of those lost in the fire and storm.

Time has dulled the scars left behind by the twin dragons. Today, the tower is primarily used as a mausoleum (the preferred method of burial are urns) and, well, a tourism site. Legend says if you climb to the top of the tower and ring the bell, you can lay your ghosts to rest. But mostly? You can ring a GIANT bell.

Course, you gotta GET to that bell first.
