(Update: I could still use more recommendations, but this monster of a playlist has over 130 songs. I can't wait to share it with everyone when chapter 3 comes out.) Hey Owl Fandom, I could use some help with my fanfic, The Road Trip. I want to make a playlist of good road trip music to accompany it, something Luz would have probably put together to encompass a sizable amount of genres. Everything from 90s Grunge, to synthwave, to punk and metal, to pop. Just, like, a huge playlist of tunes. There are some rules for this, though, as it would also be on Luz's mind as she makes the list as well: -Don't just spam a particular artist or group. Like, it's cool if you like Taylor Swift and BTS, but this is meant to be a playlist of many genres and bands, not just a couple. -Let's keep things on the non- super explicit and non-controversial side. Rap and country are cool, but let's not have songs with a lot of n-bombs or songs about how "dem libs" are "ruining our country" -Get f***ing weird with it. Like, give me all the obscure songs you have tucked under the cushions for when you need a pick me up. Doesn't matter where it's from so long as it's not grinding against those other two rules. -If you have fansongs, awesome, but do try not to include Good Witch Azura based songs. Luz has a separate playlist for those so she doesn't annoy anyone that isn't Amity. Beyond that, I'll throw some songs of my own in and throw up the playlist on Spotify or something. I hope I get a wide selection to make something wonderful. Comment on this post if you have any.

Hi so I made that Luz playlist after all. I wanted to include more songs in Spanish, but I don't know too many yet, and what I do doesn't fit her all that much. But maybe I'll add more in the future!

Because I'm a storyteller at heart this playlist kinda tells a story? It's broken up into Arcs.

Tracks 1-10 are the fundamentals, establishing Luz as a character and her situation.

Tracks 11-19 is what I call the Lumity Movement. All songs about Amity, as if they were from Luz's perspective.

Tracks 20-22 is the beginning of The Depression™️ we saw in Thanks to Them, though I'd say it actually started around Reaching Out (thus the next two songs). That sudden crash and questioning of herself.

Tracks 23-24 are about death, specifically the death of her father. I know the pronouns in the PXNDX song are female, but we're gay, we know what to do.

Tracks 25-27 are Luz's state of mind in The Depression™️.

Tracks 28-30 are the Light at the End of the Tunnel. A place we haven't *entirely* seen yet, but she will find it.

And Track 31 is the promise to keep going, and the return to the Demon Realm.
