scenario for the lunar duo au in which when Ingo and Akari return to the present, they let Darkrai and Cresselia take the reins for the trip since they handle that kind of travel better. What they don’t expect is for Arceus’ portal to drop them directly into Gear Station, where everyone gets to see what looks like Subway Boss Ingo with weird eyes and some WEIRD shit going on with his coat and a girl who seems to be glowing fall out of a portal.

Emmet comes rushing over in a hurry, only to stop short when he actually lays eyes on Ingo. Something about his brother is verrry different. He can tell that much even without the weird eyes and... is Ingo floating?

Emmet: Ingo?

Darkrai: No.

Cresselia: Sibling, do not be rude!! Hello, human! I am Cresselia! This is Darkrai! You look a lot like their host! Do you know him???

Sunship duo Eclipse AU

Guqqie has always belonged to the sky. She is the child of Stars, specifically the Sun, and her mother watches over the solar system as the ultimate ruler. 

One day, her friend Ranboo (god of the moon) advises her to take advantage of a solar eclipse to visit Earth. At most he can stretch her time to an hour, but a few minutes of fun out of her mother’s watchful eye is enough, Guqqie thinks. 

But then she meets Aimsey. Aimsey, who somehow steals her heart in a matter of minutes. Guqqie’s never met a mortal human before, never met someone with so much passion and life. The few minutes stretch into an hour, until the sun is almost fully visible. Children of the stars aren’t supposed to fall in love with mortals, and Guqqie can feel the heat of her mother’s gaze return. So they run.

Guqqie and Aimsey try to outrun the moon’s path. Guqqie calls upon every drop of power she inherited. Ranboo travels as slowly as he can on his way across the sky. But eventually, the sun starts to set and they’ve ran out of time. When night falls, the rest of the stars can descend to Earth and bring Guqqie back to where she belongs. It’s over. 

“Never waste a perfect sunset” Aimsey says, defeat creeping into their eternal optimism. 

“This isn’t the end” Guqqie insists. “I’m going to spend every sunset and sunrise with you. I don’t care what it takes, I don’t break my promises”

And it’s true. When a god gives a promise like that, they cannot take it back. Guqqie knows how the story is supposed to end. They are doomed in every universe: to love so strongly yet so briefly. Children of the stars aren’t supposed to fall in love with mortals. Maybe it was never meant to be, but she’ll be damned if she lets Aimsey slip away again. 

Her mother is furious with the promise. She rages and flares radiation, threatening to burn Earth until no life can take place again. But that would break the promise. A promise that cannot be broken without killing Guqqie. But her mother refuses to grant Guqqie the mortality that would allow her to be together with her love. Eventually, they reach a compromise. 

Lunar eclipses appear red because the Earth’s atmosphere bends longer red and orange lightwaves while scattering blue and violet light. The same mechanism is what gives sunsets and sunrises their beautiful colors. Every lunar eclipse, is in a way, like seeing all sunsets and sunrises at the same time. 

On the lunar eclipse, Ranboo weaves a bridge of shadows for Guqqie to cross. Tonight Guqqie gets to see Aimsey again, and they’ll spend their precious hours together. They won’t meet again, for a while. But every night the moon turns sunset red they remember why love is worth it.

After luzhen, even Wukogn and Macaque are literally begging the dieties to stop. They did it! They saved the species! PLEASE LET US GO ONE DAY WITHOUT BEING PREGNANT!!

Wukong was fixing up FFM after the Brotherhood incident and was bust reshaping the earth when...

Wukong, gold-vision acting up: "What the??" *digs up a "geode" surrounded by oddly-shaped shatttered rock* Wukong: *sees a flicker of life deep within* Wukong: "Uh oh." The "Geode": *starts shaking* Wukong: "UH OH!!!"

Macaque walks over asking whats the big deal, when the "geode" decides "New troop! New parents!!" and bam! Luzhen busts out the stray stone egg about the size of a toddler. He's super giggly, muddy, and looks scarily like Wukong. The second he reaches out to Shadowpeach for uppsies, Wukong scoops the baby up like he would any of his own infants.

The Monkie Kid gang all gasp in surprise when they next see the monkey couple. Someone asks if Luzhen was an "express delivery" Wukong spawned in while him and Macaque were working on the island.

Yuebei and the two sets of twins (the Lunar node boys and the Eclipse duo) are all super delighted, chirping at Luzhen like he's a new brother. And he pretty much is, given that Macaque and Wukong have already mentally agreed to adopt/pretend Luzhen's theirs.

The only big questions on Wukong's mind is; Who was the parent that gave their life for Luzhen? Was it a fellow Stone Monkey who buried themselves long before the King's time? Was the body buried there by unknowing monkey demons? Why does Luzhen look so much like him!?

Here again with some more dnd-based headcanons!

I like to imagine Sun as a bard with almost zero charisma lol. This poor thing is more awkward than charming. However, he has an ability called "Accidental Rizz" where he becomes very charming to another person, but he can't control when it triggers.

I like to think that Solar is in charge of making and repairing the majority of their armour and weapons, since he's the party artificer. As I said before, he also dabbles in making little gadgets and potions. Maybe Jack-o-Moon is a creation of his in this AU as well. A smaller and more simplistic animatronic than they are. Maybe he made him to be his assistant but Jack is a bit scatter-brained. He gets easily distracted.

I think Earth and Moon would work amazingly together against enemies. She could shroud him with her abilities and buff his stealth, and she acts as the tank keeping him shielded from a lot of the damage. The group doesn't really have a "true" fighter so these two take on that role the most. They've gotten really good at working as a duo.

Lunar is a bit of a wildcard. He would very much do his own thing and be chaotic on the battlefield, not really synergizing with the others. Though he would be the most excited to use Solar's experimental potions in battle. I can imagine him zipping around enemies firing off lightening at them and then chucking potions at their heads. "Get glassed, idiots!"

Sun and Solar are the ones who usually keep a distance, with Solar using his inventions and Sun using his musical magic. That said, if things go south they can both step in. Solar is great with hand-to-hand and Sun's instrument is shockingly durable. He can and will swing it at your head!

Earth and Sun do the majority of the party healing, but everyone has had close calls and saved each others' butts before. Sometimes the difference between living and dying is Sun plucking a certain cord just in time, for example, and the family tends to spend those evenings closer together and somber as they huddle around the campfire.

Okay I'll stop here. These are just me letting my brain tumble out headcanons :3 I love the idea of these guys as a little rpg dnd-style family roaming about and taking up odd jobs for money. Oh the adventures they'd have.

I literally know nothing about the downfall duo… and anything I do know is entirely from fandom so….. Imagine much like legend his entire team is tired and jaded, only fueled by their duty as the hero. They all still care but they just so goddamn tired from it all. Sweet Hylia just give the man a break.

And it wasn't till the end that I noticed half the team had rabbit ears or ‘V’ shaped visual designs. It's entirely by coincidence I swear!

✌ ️Victini: The victory pokemon. Victini shares legend's bitterness towards the goddess’, and anxiety to always prevail.

I honestly see victini as a mini legend, a literal bunny ledge if u will. They even have cute little wings! ... Would it be too much to give them a matching red vest 🤔

✌️ Delibird: A bond formed through hoarding. Sometimes legend would have to fight Delibird for his own items because the bird didn't want to share, though it's mostly to tease Legend, nudging him to loosen up a bit more.

✌️ Lucario: Lucario's EQ is high. Legend's an emotional wreck of a teenager. Aside from being a strong fighter Lucario is there to help emotionally support Legend. Carefully monitoring him, seeing through his snark to his true emotions, and knowing whether to soothe or give the Veteran space.

✌️ Sableye: Something about this gremlin seems right. I haven't played any of Legend's games but this choice feeeels right. All I know is sableye has a good eye for treasure and expertly appraises any loot and items they come across.

Sableye is also very critical of which accessories Legend wears out, styling him to make sure they match aesthetically.

✌️ Ditto: Legend has done it all, and what Ditto sees Ditto does. Ditto can transform into any item Legend has used in his adventures, and while can transform into creatures and humans it exhausts them quickly. Plus they have a preference for magical items.

Ditto doesn't rest inside their pokeball, instead opting to transform into one of legend's accessories ready to fight at a moment's notice.

✌️ Enamuros: The love-hate pokemon. Forced to travel to resolve worldly conflicts is something they both have in common.

Originally I picked suicune since they do something similar purifying contaminated waters across the world. But then I discovered Enamuros and they felt like a better choice for Ledge.

I hc all legendaries can speak human so… Enamuros, Victini, and Ledge spend many hours bitching about hylia and her grudge against them. 9 adventures is 8 too many.

Notes: So fandom agrees legend refuses to sleep. Well in the pokemon au it's because Darkrai curses him to dream of Koholint, and sometime during that quest he encounters Cresellia, who gives him a lunar feather (to help wake up? I haven't played the game eep)

The first drawing of lunar and eclipse I made

The first time I drew lunar and eclipse was for a AU I made where Lunar never 'betrayed' eclipse, and eclipse slightly warmed up to only Lunar and their became an evil equal duo. Where Lunar taught Eclipse to be soft and sweet to get his way, and Eclipse taught Lunar how to use violence and force when needed. This drawing is kinda old.

🌑🌓 Dualism’s Lunar Cycle : Singularity’s Cyberparadism 🌗🌕

"Do you know the secret of the world?"

An AU between @kuroshirosb and @antihibikase

During a sleepless, starless night, two tragedies occur in the region of Unova- one boy is caught in a fire at Lentimas' Town's abandoned mansion, and another drowns in the waters under the Marvelous Bridge.

When they wake, however, they find themselves in a familiar region in an unfamiliar world.

Plot Summary:

Following their own accidents, Cheren Piper and Cheren Slater wake and find themselves, and each other, in the region of Sinnoh- except nothing is what it seems.

Parts of Sinnoh are either missing, leading to different places, or consumed by an endless, inky black void. The people of Sinnoh behave strangely, with blurred faces and repeated scripts.

With the help of a bike, a Poketch, and a diary, Piper and Slater traverse Sinnoh's Mystery Zone in an attempt to escape what they realize is an endless dream built on not only their memories, but the other people they share this world with.

Characters:

Piper - Unable to sleep one night, Piper walks through the outskirts of Lentimas Town and finds himself beckoned to a strange house. Upon entering the house, however, it's set ablaze- and he wakes to find himself in the Sinnoh region, where he eventually meets Slater. The more assertive of the two, he braves through the darkness of the Mystery Zone with his partner through the use of a simple bike.

Associated with Darkrai and the new moon. Though he butts heads with Kris, he finds himself specifically antagonized by Nikolai.

Slater - Unable to sleep one night, Slater walks out of White Forest and into the Marvelous Bridge. As he's pondering under the night sky, a strange woman approaches him- and pushes him off the bridge, leaving him to drown. Upon waking, he finds himself in the Sinnoh region, where he eventually meets Piper. The more reserved of the duo, he's often in the backseat with the special Poketch and diary they use to navigate the Mystery Zone.

Associated with Cresselia and the full moon. Despite being Nikolai's object of fascination, Kris seems to have a bone to pick with him.

Kris - A strange girl encountered in Hearthome City, just as Piper and Slater obtain their badge from Fantina. The more antagonistic of the pair, she endlessly pursues and toys with them in an effort to take their places in the real world. Was once a normal girl with a normal life, who was heavily doted on by her uncle Bill- who will do everything and anything in his power to bring her back.

Associated with the third quarter phase of the moon.

Nikolai - A strange man encountered in the Lost Tower, not too soon after the pair meet Kris. Though he's more reserved and calculating, he follows along with Kris' plans to escape to the real world. A wandering scientist cursed with immortality, he's left in near-death after a serious accident cracks his porcelain body- and is left in the care of his mother, Cogita.

thinking about how Cresselia and Darkrai are associated with the full moon and the new moon respectively so they just automatically take over the shared body on those days. Rei comes to greet Akari for a morning of Survey Corps work but she has a glowing hagoromo and she’s kind of... floating? She is Cresselia and she will be happy to help him with his work though! Let us go, small human child!

And then on the day of the new moon, Melli coming by Ingo’s campsite to bother him about something, but his coat has turned into a wispy version of itself and his sclera are pitch black and Melli does the smart thing and just fucking books it. nope. not dealing with whatever that is. Darkrai just huffs and says something about humans to Lady Sneasler, who just nods along. They are having a nice time hanging out together.

LUNAIRE is a J-Pop co-ed group created by Aurora Music. They debuted in September 2023 with a dual concept, mainly inspired by Sucker Punch and Sailor Moon. LUNAIRE has seven members: Maki, PANDA, Yuuta, Toge, Yuuji, Nobara and Megumi.

The group comes from a small company, and has Nanami Kento as their manager, as well as the (in)famous Gojō Satoru as their producer. While Nanami is mostly unknown, Gojō is a former idol of one of the biggest 2nd generation graduation groups, as well as a member of the co-ed trio Triple S and the male duo GG (now both disbanded).

'We wanted a group with freshness, with individuals who could show their youth as well as their rebellious side,' the producer told Shin Magazine in an interview. 'We wanted a group that makes people stare and think "Oh, they're odd people alright".'

LUNAIRE is indeed an odd group, part of the 5th generation of J-Pop (author's note: in this universe, not actual J-Pop), hopping on the trend of co-ed groups and (dreams of) international success. Four out of seven members are foreigners and/or mixed, and all members have good to fluent levels in English.

With powerful vocals and raps, they also have a heavy-focus on fun choreographies, perfect for concerts (and TikToks). Perhaps LUNAIRE's oddest quality is their leaders (plural, yes!).

Maki is the official leader of the group, but also the leader of MOON-D, the dance sub-unit. She's an ex-ballerina, and has been adapting to a more hip-hop style quite fast.

Toge is the leader of MOON-V, the vocal sub-unit. He's an ex-opera singer, and is seen as a prodigy since he started working as young as 16.

Yuuji is the leader of MOON-R, the rap sub-unit. He's an underground rapper, who's taken part in many battles and regularly ranked in the top 3, even bringing some trophies home.

Gojō explained why those three were chosen as the leaders for the sub-units:

'No leader is seen as "the best in their category". Maki and Yuuji are both dancers, but they also come from different dance backgrounds; same goes for Yuuta and Toge— And their tones, as well as Megumi's, are too different for us to fully judge. […] The leaders were chosen based on past experience. All of them —Maki, Toge, Yuuji— have been put in professional situations before, and know how ruthless it can be out there. Because of that experience, we see them as more able than the other members, who truly are rookies, to guide and help them. Maki and Toge, especially, know the scene more than anyone else in the group. Maki started ballet when she was 3, and only decided to become an idol last year, when she was 21. As for Toge, he's been shown the ropes as young as 14; he has many years of experience with the scene, as well as the media.'

Although LUNAIRE having three leaders is already odd enough, that's not all: the members aren't ranked in different categories and with various sub-labels, like the 1st and 4th generation had done (the most notable examples would be now-disbanded WABI-SABI, as well as the famous groups Hanafubuki and BUREIKOU).

Instead, LUNAIRE decides to take inspiration from 2nd generation groups, and only have the basic "rapper", "vocalist", "dancer" labels as their positions. Their team has divided said labels in three "Moons" (to fit with their concept, very reminiscent of sci-fi movies and Sailor Moon).

Moon-D, the dance sub-unit, is made of Maki (leader), PANDA, Toge, Yuuji and Megumi.

Moon-V, the vocal sub-unit, is made of Toge (leader), Yuuta, Maki and Megumi.

Moon-R, the rap sub-unit, is made of Yuuji (leader), PANDA and Nobara.

The usual positions known by K-Pop and J-Pop consumers, "centre", "face of the group" and "visual", were also given to some members.

Maki is not only her sub-unit's leader, but also the group's. She is also seen as a visual.

PANDA, who isn't a real panda but a human hidden in a panda suit, is surprisingly a visual despite never showing his face. Intriguing.

Yuuta is a visual as well, and was given the role of the "face of the group" when the group debuted. After a year and a half, this role will be given to…

… Toge instead, who was chosen for "fitting the dual concept (badass/cute) more". With his doll-like features, he's also been considered an unofficial visual.

Megumi, the youngest member, was given the role of centre. While this role changes depending on the comeback, Megumi is often at the centre of pictures with Maki and Yuuta/Toge, as well as the centre in most choreographies.

When Gojō got asked if the group had a storyline, he laughed and answered:

'Yes, obviously. The storyline isn't something to take too seriously, but it does exist; the group is basically filled with magical girls— Or badass video-game characters. The dual concept is the entire storyline, really: you have a group of young adults who try to make everything bubbly by fighting monsters with cool weapons. Their names are acronyms for all the different powers and abilities they have, and they're able to materialise themselves in a virtual world to make real life better— A bit like Code Lyoko, now that I think about it. It's not a deep storyline, just a fun one that we really liked. PANDA likes drawing a lot, and he showed us panels of different plots he thought of; we just really, really liked them, so we thought about it some more. The point isn't for fans to remember a bunch of terms we made up, or for the lyrics to represent chapters in a bigger story— We just wanted a cute concept, and a badass one— And we had seven young, talented people with a lot of duality. They're sassy, they're quirky, they're bubbly and they're rebellious— We gave them the perfect concept, one that suited them, and honestly, we're just having fun with it!'

In short, stan LUNAIRE.

Qi Xiaotian, (nickname: MK), isn’t a performer, but he hopes to be one. He is the artist who makes all of the circus posters and advertisements. He is the adoptive son of Pigsy and looks up to Sun Wukong as a role model due to his status as the Star of the Circus.

Long Xiaojiao, (stage name: Mei, the Dragon Horse Girl), is a member of the trick riding team. She used to be a part of a rich family (the Dragon Family) before she ended up joining the circus.

Sun Wukong, (stage names: The Monkey King and Great Sage Equal to Heaven), is the star of the circus show. He does an aerial silk/aerial hoop performance as well as a tightrope balancing act.

Macaque, (real name: Liu'er Mihou, Macaque is a shortened version of his stage name, The Six-Eared Macaque), head of trapeze team and one of the circus's best trapezists (and one of the first to be a part of the circus).

Rumble and Savage, (those are their stage names, with their real names being Haoyu and Zixin), are a twin act (much like Jin and Yin) who perform a tightrope/juggling act. They were originally orphans living on the streets and performing for money before they were brought into the circus by Macaque.

Jin and Yin, are a human cannonball act on top of being physical comedians.

Nezha, is a trapezist and a fire performer. He was the one who taught Red Son about fire performing and brought him into the circus in the first place.

Red Son, (real name: Hong Hai'er) is a member of the fire performers. He is the son of the Demon Bull Family and ran away from home to join the circus. His parents may be looking for him and this may cause trouble for the circus later down the line.

Kui Mulang, is one of the head dancer and does a duo act with Chang'e. He wears star-themed outfits when he performs.

Chang'e, is one of the head dancers and does a duo act with Kui Mulang. She wears lunar-themed outfits when she peforms.

Hou Yi, is a trick shooter and the husband of Chang'e. He used to perform in archery contests prior to joining the circus to be with Chang'e.

The Spider Queen, (real name: Zhilan), is a trapezist and an acro dancer. She is rather prideful and proud of her skills, to the point that she will boast about herself to the other performers.

The Huntsman, is a knife thrower.

Spindrax, (real name: Lirong), is a member of the trick riding team.

Sandy, the circus strongman act and the owner of Mo and the circus cats. One of the kindest members of the performance team.

Mo, one of the many circus cats and Sandy's therapy cat. The cats of the circus serve as performers in their own right and as "designated therapy cats" for the performers when things get particularly stressful.

Tang, is the financial manager of the circus.

Min, (Jin and Yin's Demon Accountant), is Tang's assistant and helps him deal with the finances and general management.

Pigsy, the cook of the circus and the adoptive father of Qi Xiaotain.

Syntax, is the equipment/special effects manager.

Tianli, (the Scorpion Queen), is the head of the makeup team.

Yaling, a member of the makeup and costume team. She is the girlfriend of Kui Mulang.

The Strong Spider, (real name: Qiang), is an equipment handler.

“Jiabeng”, (The (not) Mayor, does not currently have a stage name), is a contortionist. He makes everyone a bit uncomfortable and he straight up just appears out of nowhere sometimes.

The Lady Bone Demon (real name: Mu Xue), the ringmistress of the circus and a perfectionist when it comes to performances (not that you don’t want to put on a good show, but she takes it way too far)

Other Characters

Erlang Shen, a rich elite of society.

Princess Iron Fan, the mother of Red Son and the wife of Demon Bull King. A rich elite of society who runs the Demon Bull Family Industries alongside her husband.

Demon Bull King, the father of Red Son and the husband of Princess Iron Fan. A rich elite of society who runs the Demon Bull Family Industries alongside his wife.

Demon Bull Clones, the actual servants of the Demon Bull Family.

The Jade Vixen, one of the reasons for why the marriage of DBK and PIF have recently been on the rocks.

Some Stuff About LBD

None of the circus crew actually knows her real name and just refers to her as "The Boss" and "The Ringmistress".

Incorporates a bone theme into her attire (hence her title) and has various different outfits, but they all have the same theme.

Speaks and acts in a calm and clear way, but there is something underlying her tone, which is condescension.

Most if not all of the circus crew (minus Jiabeng) agree that she gives an "off" vibe and either become uneasy and/or uncomfortable around her.

Like with her real name, no one knows much about her past, which she keeps under lock and key.

Is a perfectionist and expects the absolute best from her performers at all times, even to their own physical and mental detriment.

Has a certain mentality about picking up "rejects" or those who are unable to find any other work and try and mold them into what she needs from them (even if that mold isn’t who the person is nor how negatively it may affect them).

Sun Wukong is the most "perfect" in her eyes. Refers to him as her "Champion."

She isn't above intimidating and outright hurting the performers or any part of the crew if they "act out of line" or don't adhere to her standards or just do something that she doesn't like.

Other Info

The circus is a traveling circus and travels to various places, some getting frequent visits and being usual places of performance.

It has similar elements to The Greatest Showman setting, though there may be a few modern aspects added to it.

Bai He is not a member of the circus, but she is a regular member of the audience whenever the circus visits her town. She brings her cat with her to the shows.

Rumble, Savage, Jin, and Yin form a group called "the Chaotic Quadruplets" by the other circus members.

Everyone looks like how they do in the show, with Sun Wukong and Macaque still being anthropomorphic monkeys. Though, some may have a few different things about their physical appearance (just me applying headcanons), along with different attire.

Sun Wukong and Macaque will sometimes perform a double trapeze act called "The Hero & The Warrior". Though, they don't do this in every show.

QXT has a crush on Red Son and tries to be subtle about it to varying degrees of success.

Rumble (Haoyu) and Savage (Zixin) are currently the youngest members of the circus crew, with Savage being the older twin.

LXJ and Spindrax have a sort of friendly rivalry.

Sun Wukong does have stage fright, but he does a few things to help himself deal with it.

Sun Wukong helps take care of the circus horses and is quite attached to them.

While DBK and PIF married for love, their marriage has been on the rocks as of late and hasn't been entirely smooth sailing even before that.

I keep forgetting that Catch and Release stole a Stockholm and seeing the post adoption designs reminded me of them and the little side AU of KC and TF!Lunar. Man I should work on that duo more since they have such a mama bear and baby bear vibe. Some little side thoughts on Stockholm. -If asked to watch Friday the 13th Catch and Release are going to make jokes that he must really be interested in that series. (Context, it's known as one of the sexual slasher series for how much nudity, etc there is) -Due to being adopted by mature SAMS bois I imagine that overtime he did gain a tolerance for horror media n such. So makes me wonder what name they would go by. -Has a little skeleton and bat plushies

I'm sure the name he'd go by would be influenced by the adopters interest in horror movies, but as I know nothing about horror movies I wouldn't be able to come up with a reasonable one in that sense.

SYNOPSIS: The lunar year is upon Oletus Manor, and yet the embalmer couldn't ask the novelist for one thing and one thing only.

CW/s: angst, ferrylady is a bit of a dumbass, abstract, drabble focused (less dialogue, more narrative), kinda bitter of an ending

NOTE: Reference for the season essence with Entomologist, its event, and Lady 13 in the past seasons, coming from the prompt/challenge by @i23kazu. I also did a small experiment since I felt unmotivated to write more stuff than usual. Hope this will suffice orz (IDV AU)

It wasn't strange to have a few festivals being hosted in the manor. For the residents, they felt that it was the only way to 'bring life' to their everyday schedule: get matched up, win or lose, go back... And repeat.

And for the duo, the lunar festival is one they both like and prepare. The reason behind it? It differs between them.

For the embalmer, it was her way of getting back to her original occupation: a ferrylady. She often spoke about doing her job for once, and to be hired in that occasion felt nice. It could be because, in some way, she was reminded of her home.

It was a place she's forgotten for so long, and for a good reason. After all, her job was tied into death; that in itself deserves some form of scrutiny.

Although, what is ironic is that she is in charge of the festival. And especially when she saw who else will be participating to help make the festival a success.

Being donned in new outfits, the ferrylady looked over at her own. Not as flashy, but comfortable and closely tied to her memories of home... Yes, that's what she wants. And clearly, they held no qualms in having her wear it, too.

Looking at the others, the director had a sleek appearance. Black coat, gold embroidery, and even a veil that covers half of his face from the nose down. The design behind his coat was of a long dragon, it's scales and color of it mix of gold and amber.

The one that's speaking (read: bothering) him is the undertaker, Hu Tao. Although she wasn't dressed as conservatively nor elegant as Zhongli, she was still stylish. Her hat has been replaced with that of her occupation, and instead of her trusty 'ghost repeller' (her words, not of the ferrylady), she had to wield a big and long brush.

Comically speaking, it reminded her of what a witch would have. Alas, she had to bite the comment back if she didn't want to be bothered.

And lastly, her eyes drifted towards the novelist. Unlike the two, the novelist was given a different attire to wear: one that is fitting for the more... Lively aspects of the lunar festival. Red and white adorned them as they adjusted the fur hanging on their shoulders, the slim dress doing no good for anyone who would look.

She had expected them to be happy for this, but they looked a bit displeased. They even asked the shopkeeper if they can change, but they couldn't. They are the ones taking care of the teashop, so they need to 'look the part'.

How annoying.

Still, the ferrylady had nothing to say. It wasn't because of how nice they looked, but it was simply due to the fact that the Gods weren't so kind.

Lunar Festivals are no joke. And for her, she had a lot to deal with.

At the start of the festival, the four were busy. Sure, there were mishaps, but the lady was able to deal with them. Zhongli and Hu Tao made quite a pair, and even the novelist has managed to deal with most of the workload.

It's when the time came for the main attraction that she was informed of something... Surprising.

"Lantern making?"

"Yes. It's says that sending wish up on the sky makes them come true. Why don't you give it a try?"

...

Wishmaking...?

It was a foreign concept, though she didn't disagree and sought out for the novelist. Although, the irony is that... Well, she couldn't find them.

It was almost surprising at how long she took in searching for the novelist. Some said it was easy to find them, but others attest that they are a massive feat to look for.

It wasn't long until she had to stop searching, and the night ended without any incidents. Though, she still felt bitter with how she couldn't find that elusive novelist.

Maybe they're busy, she thought, but it was almost like she was trying to reassure herself.

Maybe, just maybe, she should've asked them sooner than later.

And just like that, the Lunar Festival ended in a bitter note.

!!New story, OCs, and everything!!!

-I am working on a new project. I may not have many followers and such but I'd like to announce the newest thing! It has no title but It'll be a FNAF thing that includes my own character too! Maybe some x reader stuff because that's absolutely fun- Always been a fan of it.

-My own character doesn't even have a name yet, guys! She'll be a duo with another character- Which I'll also be making. You guys can suggest names! And almost anything- Because it has NO PLOT. It's nothing for NOW. ♥️

-Under the line there will be a w.i.p(Work in progress for the people who do not know.) of my newest art! It is for the new AU and it's of the duo. I'm trying a somewhat newer style! Also, Sun and Moon will be involved for those who love the two- In comfort or... Y'know? And Eclipse - And Lunar of course! Can't have an Eclipse without it's Lunar.
