Yo of course agua de jamaica counts! As does the sweet tea mixed with lemonade (also known as an Arnold Palmer and also is good spiked with vodka~).

I have opinions on this lol. I make my own agua de jamaica, but it's kind of just whatever I thought sounded good so it's not exactly authentic. But the base is hibiscus tea. That is still very much tea. I cold brew mine with loose petals, a stick of cinnamon and a whole piece of star anise... and of course a ton of sugar and a lil bit of honey. But if you look it up, the recipes can vary greatly, but they all have hibiscus tea!

Sweet tea is the same thing - it's just black tea with a butt load of sugar.

I love them both and while I prefer the cold brew method, most traditional recipes call for brewing the tea hot first. And then chilling it in the fridge or with ice. Which is basically the exact same thing as regular tea - it's leaves that are steeped in boiling water. That part's the same!

The thing you might be liking about these two cold varieties is the sugar. Both of them have a high sugar content! So if you don't like drinking hot tea straight (as is often the method in the US), you might like it more if it was made into a tea latte or just had milk and sugar added to it.

I think Barbatos would probably start by trying different things. He might make you a matcha tea latte, which is also quite a different flavor. He might just make you some milk tea. I absolutely headcanon that Barbatos makes his own boba so you know he could just whip you up a bubble tea with boba at any time. Taro is my favorite flavor, but there are so many to choose from!

He might try just making you regular tea with milk and sugar added to it. He might try different blends - regular black tea is pretty boring, but add some cinnamon and cardamom (and other spices) to some Darjeeling and now you've got chai instead, which is delicious. Maybe he makes you a London Fog which is an Earl Grey latte. Maybe he goes with the green tea, which has a more subtle flavor. If you like agua de jamaica, you might like floral teas. Perhaps he gives you some jasmine green tea or some rose or lavender teas. These are all human world variants (because that is what I know... and yeah I know a lot about it lol), so he'd probably also try some Devildom types as well.

If you really don't like any of his offerings, I think he would make something different just for you. Barbatos cares a lot about MC's enjoyment of what he makes. So I don't think he'd want you to just power through something you don't like out of politeness. He would notice right away and call you out on it and then make you something else.

I think Barbatos might be able to find some other teas that you enjoy, but even if he never manages it, I think he would accept that.

He would just be sure to always have a batch of agua de jamaica or sweet tea and lemonade ready for when you come over.

if you find u dont like matcha vs green tea, it probably either lies in the caffeine content (matcha has higher caffeine levels) or the fact there are different Grades of matcha, and some are more obviously for baking (lower quality, more bitter, but you can buy it in way bigger quantities for less) and dont make great teas, while others are strictly for being made into tea, which i find have a like. higher and lighter taste, idk how to describe it lol

Doing any type of skin, body or hair care with him turns into him doing them for you. 1) he wants you to rely on him and show you that he can take care of you, and one way he slowly starts that process is insisting on "pampering" you. 2) he thinks he knows best and the proper products you should be using. Alot of organic products that are handmade or prestige and luxury that you couldn't dream of affording, the hand made ones are from his mother I feel like, with your personal preferences in mind.

-i feel like he would see you shaving with a disposable razor or even just a plastic one and be appalled. He will shave you with a straight razor, which he's very good at. Steady hands and all that blade training coming in handy. He would also learn how to wax/sugar if that's what you prefer. If you insisted, and I mean full blown conniption fit several times, he will call someone to privately do it. It might be someone from the league.....it might not. Who's to say?

It doesn't matter what hair texture or style you have, he WILL be giving you a scalp massage and oiling it. He will also be putting in whatever hair products you use for you. He's desperately touchstarved so he loves the fact that the scents he associates with you linger on his hands, even if they're not his preferred scents.

-i feel like he would have a fairly clean scent to him. Nothing to musky or sweet. Some sort of herb and tea mixture. It's actually rather difficult to find green tea in Rhodolite. Herbal and black teas are most mainstream, so only specialty stores carry green and white teas most of the time.

After you both have been part of the Astral Express for while Welt will have started a book club as a sort of team bonding activity (encouraged by Himeko). Whenever it comes to you or Dan Heng's turn to choose a book you start to notice that you have as similar taste in literature. After that (and some nagging from march because she also likes to play matchmaker) Dan Heng approaches you about some other books you like.

From there the conversation will spiral to other topics such as your own writing and if he can take a look at it some time, the vast universe you guys are traveling through and theories on how it works, what your next destination will be, and so much more. In time you two will come to a mutual comfort with each other.

Now as time goes on and you start to get closer to him and the rest of the express crew, Dan Heng starts to see the real you come out. The happier, sillier, bubblier version of you that reminds him a lot of March. However, unlike with March he finds that part of you rather cute, and that's when he's realized that he's slowly falling for you.

Now even though he doesn't want to admit it, we've all seen that Dan Heng is the type to run away from his problems. Once he realizes his feelings for you, he may start to distance himself from you for a little while to sort out his feelings, but don't worry it won't be for too long because despite his introverted nature he does begin to miss your presence. However, it may take a little push from the others (and maybe a minor life or death situation on another planet and him realizing his fear of losing you-) for him to come around.

Once you two finally get together I imagine some of the dates you guys will go on will be calm and quiet things like tea dates, exploring the libraries and bookstores of different planets, walking through nature, and some may just be simply sitting in silence and enjoying some music or watching a movie. (I would add going star gazing but you guys kinda see the stars regularly so)

Dan Heng is rather private so I don't think he would be into too much PDA, but on missions he would slowly hold your hand and intertwine your fingers. It gives him comfort to know you're right next to him safe and sound and so he can be ready to protect you at a moment's notice if he senses any danger.

Dan Heng is more of a listener than a talker, so he'll always be there to listen to your troubles when you mind starts to spiral and his calming voice will reassure you to quell those voices in your head. However, he is also more of a man of actions than words so he will do whatever he can to disprove any negative thoughts and stress you may have.

All in all, I think you two are so similar it makes your relationship easier because you understand each other so well. You are both running from something whether that be from your pasts or your problems, but together you'll give each other the strength to face and overcome them.

This one was actually pretty hard because like I said there are few characters right now and we still don't know a whole lot about the ones we have. Man did it get long though, but I hope you still like the matchup.

Jamil, because Kalim insisted he not go easy on him and Jamil’s about to make him regret those words. Honestly, Kalim would be a better challenger if he wasn’t constantly stealing glances at Jamil out of the corner of his eye. He just likes to see him happy and he always does, in his own way, when he’s leaning into the screen with his tongue between his teeth, thumbs jabbing at the controller, fully focused on winning.

It’s not just that though, it’s the way Kalim will whine at how he “can’t believe he lost again” and Jamil will scoff and smirk before leaning over and going through a practice round with him, talking low in his ear about what he should and shouldn’t be doing before he pulls away and taunts him that he’ll beat him anyway—and he does. Because Kalim didn’t catch a word of that.

33. How do they eat ice cream? What’s their favorite flavors?

Jamil encourages a bowl and spoon to keep things tidy, but Kalim insists it’s more fun to eat from a cone, and besides that way there’s less dishes to do, which is all well and good except Kalim likes to stuff so much ice cream down into the cone that it ends up cracking and he’s left to lick frantically (the ice cream, the cone, his hand, it’s all fair game) and bite down on a big mouthful before it falls to the ground. Naturally, that results in brain freeze, which has him screeching quietly and stomping around, waving the ice cream around in his fist while Jamil tries to balance his own and reach to catch the top part of Kalim’s that’s about to go tumbling from where he’s crushing the cone—

Anyway. It’s chaos.

Kalim enjoys all kinds of “science experiments” as Jamil calls them, such as rocky road and bubblegum and mango with gummy worms and sprinkles and whipped cream on top. Jamil goes for simpler flavours like mocha madness or matcha green tea with crushed almonds as a topping.

I think the both of you would be the typical friends to lover troupe. The first meeting between the two of you would 100% be at Ramshackle dorm. I think its because of the common interest on abandoned places and one of you probably just needs some fresh air from socializing too much. And voila! an enchanting encounter.

Being in a relationship with Malleus is nice and comfortable, cause i feel like the two of you would have to already know each other and feel comfortable between each other before THEN go to the next stage, that is dating. So, there's no problem with comfortability and understanding in this relationship.

Part of me feels like Malleus could be quite the jealous type in this relationship, i think he would do a lot of small shenanigangs with his power to avoid people from flirting with you or some sort, and act like nothing happened.
