In what parallel ████ universe is this kind of design acceptable?!

Maybe it's just me and my "old" eyes, but I legitimately can't tell where one menu starts and the other ends. Not at a glance. Yeah, if you look hard enough, you can tell the difference. But if you're just trying to quickly poke around your bookmarks, having menus which melt together with no discernable borders or boundaries isn't very helpful.

Also, why is everything so spaced-out, now? What were you people thinking over there at Google? Gawd. At this rate, I might be better off going all the way back to Netscape Navigator. Now, there was a web browser!

Yes, I know Firefox is the official-unofficial successor to Netscape. If I wanted Firefox, I would use Firefox. But, I don't. So, I won't.
