During the attack on Pearl Harbor, Miller had helped wounded sailors to safety and used an anti-aircraft machine gun to shoot down Japanese airplanes.

I want to say a thank you to masha-nikita for inspiring me into actually posting some of my artwork.

This is my first post so apologies for any mess in layout. I just wanted to share some of my artwork since I am fairly proud of it and I can see improvements. This is not in Chronological order, some of this was 4 or 5 years ago and others last month. I did and do still have a tendacy to doodle, it did come in handy for archaeology this year though in my lectures so I can't really complain that much.

Probably not my best for some of them, particularly Rommel, he is not an easy person to draw so there I do need to improve.

Chasing the Jacobite Dream

The Hunterian houses one of the world’s great coin collections, containing almost 80,000 coins, medals, tokens and related objects. ‌

Around 30,000 are from the original collection of Dr William Hunter put together at the end of the 18th century, when it was second only in importance to the French Royal Collection. Today it is Scotland’s premier collection in this subject.

Of course it would be nigh on impossible to put all these on display, so we rely on exhibitions like this Jacobite one for them to be made available for our perusal.

Medals became powerful objects in a long propaganda war. Able to be produced quickly to respond to events, struck in their thousands, easily transportable and transferable, they were covert, hand-held weapons of subversion and propaganda. The British crown used issues to assert royal authority and humiliate their enemies. For Jacobites, medals were emotive symbols of loyalty and dynamic reminders to the faithful to chase the dream of a Stuart restoration.

I’ll post more of this collection in the coming days or weeks, knowing my tendency to forget things and revisit them from time to time, like my Edinburgh Park Busts!

It's Time for CC12

And apparently, I was not too well prepared for this.

All the other doctors in my chat were literally talking about what they are preparing for CC and who they are going to be maxing and E2ing and all the good preparation that a good doctor would be doing so they would have an easier time. Lundi's list looks very reasonable. The only one I actually have prepared better than her is Spectalter and Chongyue.

How far would all of them go to be prepared for something I don't even know about?

Far enough.

Not me, I was busy sitting on my hands and not paying attention until the actual day I came back home and Kryo/Pinkie asked me if I am ready for CC12 later that night. I didn't even know the map. I didn't know the enemies.

Which wasn't THAT big of a deal because Pinkie is kind and good and wonderful and explained exactly how the boss works. I didn't expect to be back in CC2 but the Bladesman now is coming for vengeance for something I didn't even do. Or for it to be an AI of some sort that is locking onto my operators.

I guess Mountain is due for a level up. I had 4 dual chips and I don't even know what I was saving for on that one. Anyways, you're doing great, sweetheart. I'll act like it didn't take a year and more of you being E1 lvl 80.

Looking away from Ch'en who is E1 lvl 65 and she was the first I ever got.

Day 1 went well. As well as getting Risk 10 on the permanent map with 2 challenges and the daily. Got the skins. Unfortunate I don't have Astesia but I have her sister.

I began pulling on the MountainRock banner because I really want Mudrock, I've really wanted her ever since CC10 because she speaks like she's about to die any moment and came to accept it, she's sad, needs a hug and she's one of Pinkie's wives, but I swear I will be very nice to her and get her skin whenever I can. Whichever one I can.

She's level 30 E1 right about now. I have a list I should be going down on but E2ing Penance, GG and Ifrit are still higher on the list.

During my pulls I got a

Terminally redhead.

I got another Mountain.

And last night I GOT MUDROCK AFTER CRYING AND WHIMPERING LIKE A DOG KICKED INTO THE CURB THANK YOU FOR COMING HOME I AM AN ALLY AND A FRIEND AND ITS OKAY YOU'RE BEING PROMOTED BY THE EX ENEMY MEANS IT'S ALL GOOD.

Day 4 of CC12

I'm so tired.

I want to not deal with him anymore, please sir stop being a menace.
