Did this for Purim last year but never posted it. Though I imagine Drac is more the cook in the family, I thought it'd be cute having Drericka learn to make things together, especially considering Ericka learning about the monster culture she once feared/hated. (Plus I love the trope of mixed cultural relationships learning about eachother.) Plus it allows for a sweet step-mom stepdaughter moment.

The cookies are called hamantaschen cookies, or "Haman's ears" a purim treat. I figured they'd be a fun one to monsturize, though I kept the triangle shape to make them recognizeable and get away from blood libel territory.

hii, im a mentally ill lesbian in need dont really know how to word this but as of yesterday and today my best friend in the whole wide world and the loml, Kenny my chihuahua mix needed medical attention in the emergency vet today due to him having a irritated throat and stomach to the point where he wont eat and has to be put on multiple medicines and fortunately i was about to pay for the bills to help i need about 300 dollars to cover the bills and fees since that money i had saved up was going to be used towards bills i need to pay and currently I am barely getting a job so i wont get back for a while. Most why im making this post is that i have money again just in case kenny needs to go back to the vet and i no longer have money for him for vet bill and i dont have any to buy him the special food he needs which is very expensive and i just dont want him to go. Ive cried so hard today i just need a few dollars just so i can keep kenny with me and im so scared to lose him as hes the only thing i have. i do also so comissions and make jewerly if you want to do that instead of donating and even if you cant just a reblog will help me so much. please i dont want to lose my best friend.

TMNT 2012 Rewatch Episodes 11-15

Mousers Attack: This episode was by far my least favorite in Season 1 and my least favorite overall until Pizza Face took that title. How do I feel now after all these years? Well… I don’t outright hate it anymore and it has it’s fun moments, but I still don’t care for it. I get what they were trying to do, but I just think the whole A/B Team thing was poorly done with Donnie and especially Mikey coming off as borderline useless with a poor resolution to the team unifying. I liked seeing Leo and Raph actually getting along, but both come off as such big jerks that it’s hard to enjoy that aspect. I like the concept of the two pairs having a confict because of Leo and Raph being better fighters and Donnie and Mikey trying to prove them wrong but while Donnie’s intellect does get spotlighted, it’s just otherwise… not that good and more justifies Leo and Raph’s cockiness than dissuades it with them having to save the other two and overall handle the Mouser situation all on their own. I’ll go more in-depth into the issues of the episode when I do the reviews, but long story short: you only need to watch this so you know why Stockman’s with the Foot later. 2/5.

It Came From the Depths: Leatherhead intro, yay! God I missed the Mikey that wwe got in S1. I still need to rewatch S2-5 all the way through, but it really feels like the more the show went on, the more depth that Mikey lost overtime. Here we saw a more empathetic side to him in how he befriended Leatherhead despite the others being against it and some inner wisdom that shows how emotionally intelligent he is. After New Friend, Old Enemy especially it’s perfect development for him. Leatherhead is also such a sympathetic character. He has a good heart bit because of the torment he endured he’s prone to violent outbursts and it’s just… sad. The episode really demonstrates how monsturous the Kraang really are and how scary they truly can be. And of course we get to see Splinter in a fight, and it is glorious. It’s overall a really good episode that furthers the Kraang plot, demonstrates why Mikey is a good character, and I just love Leatherhead so much~! 4.5/5

New Girl in Town: We have reached the conclusion of the Leo and Raph rivalry arc and the intro of Karai. This episode took everything between the two Turtles from the past few episode and brought it to such an excellent conclusion. Leo expressing his frustrations over the burden of leadership was well-times and helps make the frankly VERY rushed development and decision to trust Karai more understandable. Raph finally got a taste of what Leo endured every day and finally realizes how much of an insensetive jerk who only made it worst for his brother. Even Donnie and April got some good moments woth Donnie taking charge during Raph’s breakdown and April calling Leo put, but still listening to him when he explains why he’s attracted to Karai. I admit Splinter dcolding Leo for his frustrations comes off as harsh, but tbf I think be was more mad that Leo adandoned the post like he did and he DID bring it up to Raph. And Karai got some good character establishment with her mischevious bad girl personality that promised a whole new dynamkc. Overall, aside from some tweaking, the episode did everything it needed to do and did it well. 4.5/5.

I, Monster: I love this episode. This was the episode the show needed at this point. The Rat King is still utterly terrifying despite his ability being to control rats, which may not sound scary but… yeah. It did very well delving more into Splinter, his struggle with maintaining his humanity, his fears about his sons one day no longer needing him, and just emphasizing bow much of a tragic character he is which REALLY makes what happens to him in later seasons hurt more. I admit 2012 Splinter is harsher than I remembered, but it’s still very clear that he loves his sons and that they loved theor father, and this episode just demonstrates that so well. Add in some more Splinter badassery and you have a winner of an episode~! 5/5.

The Alien Agenda: I feel… mixed. To me, the whole Leo and Karai development happened incredibly last. Leo comes off as maybe too naive, trusting the enemyw ho he hasn’t known for bery long and considering what we find out later, his crush is… awkward looking back. Raph being far more level-headed and calling Leo out on not only acting that way, but not telling Donnie, Mikey, and Splinter for no clear reason was good though and helped show more of Raph’s development. Karai being the first Foot character to give a damn about the Kraang’s involvement and overall proving to be the smartest villain thus far really helped make her a more likeable but formidable foe. I din’t mean to harp on Leo too much and tbf he DID threaten Karai to leave his family alone, it’s mainly just rushed execution but that just can’t be helped. The Kraang plot was meh, really inly foreshadowing the big reveal in two episodes, but April getting to show some progress with her training was nice. It’s not the best episode with it’s rushed execution, the Kraang plot jsut kind of being there, and Leo maybe being more naive than he should have been and keeping Karai a secret just comes off as kind of pointless. But it does help show more of Leo’s character flaws, had some good interactions with him and Raph, furthered Karai’s role, and has the Foot gaining a more active interest in the Kraang. It helped progress things in a still mostly fun way and that’s all I ask for. 4/5.

Okay, so next time we have The Pulverizer, cockroaches, April and Splinter bonding, and of course the episode that changes everything between the Turtles and Karai… well, the first one anyways. Should be fun!

hii so I'm going to jump on the bandwagon and ask about skincare!! so I don't really know my skin type tbh I guess it's combination?? it dries out quickly when I use aggressive products. I have lots of small pimples on my forehead and always one or two in the nose/cheeks. aaand also lots of really small blackheads on these areas :// all in all not that visible but annoying. I currently use a soap (imex syndet), healing clay as a mask and almond oil as monsturizer. can u recommend me anything?

the COSRX Blackhead Power Liquid works wonders!! just apply it about two to three times a week on your problem areas, wait for 15-30 minutes, then either wash it off if you want to err on the side of caution (it is a pretty strong activating product after all, but i’ve never had any problems with inflammation while using it or anything like that) or leave it on and continue with the rest of your routine. speaking of blackheads, i recommend that you check out this post by a renowned skincare blogger in the k-beauty community. the only ingredients you need are BHA (which the blackhead power liquid is packed with), a clay mask (which you’ve already got), and cleansing oil (Banila Clean it Zero is what i use and it’s perfect for this). all i will say is that i’ve been using this method for about three months now, and my blackheads are all but gone, and my pores look much smaller than before :)

At first, we can see V in Iryeong station. There’s something with the station names written behind him.

If you compare with the pictures of the Naver Starcast article, you can see that these names were changed from Songchu to Pohang and from Sinchon to So... Jangheung and Neunggok were erased (you can see it a bit later). Uijeongbu and Seoul weren’t changed though.

Iryeong is a station on the Gyooe Line, connecting Uijeongbu to Neunggok. I joined a map of the line below. And he’s not in front of different board, there’s only one in the station. Here are an album and a blog post of hikers that walked along the line if you want pictures of the station.

On the other hand, Pohang is a city almost at the opposite end of the country (see the other part of the map). From what I’ve found, Pohang is where Homigot is (it’s the bit of land on the right of the blue point on the map). Homigot is “the easternmost point of mainland South Korea.” So people go there to see the rising sun. @btsboo explained in this analysis that the apparition of Pohang is connected to The Ones Who Walked Away from Omelas.

After coming down on the line, V puts his ear on the railroad. It’s a technique - often shown in movies - to hear if a train is coming. And there’s actually the sound of a train just at this moment.

In the next scene, they’re at a motel named Omelas. It's a reference to The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas by Ursula K. Le Guin. The car that can be seen on the right is a sixth generation Ford Mustang. RM goes in the room R102.

About The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas, it’s a text describing the city of Omelas, near the sea and where a summer festival is held. They’ve reached an incredible level of happiness, but at the price of one child’s own happiness. As long as the child isn’t happy, all the other inhabitants are. It’s a paradox that makes a lot of inhabitants suffer, sometimes to the point that they walk away from Omelas.

Armysalon translated an interesting article about The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas and “Spring Day”, written by a major publishing company.

During the attack on RM, all the members - V isn’t visible in the MV but you see him in the episode - are seen throwing food at the leader, like a cake or BOOMCHICKAPOP Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn.

Jung Kook is in front of a merry-go-round on which is written the name of the album: ��You Never Walk Alone”.

The criminal who wrote “monstur” on RM’s right cheek is Jung Kook.

Jin pierced Jimin’s left ear with a safety pin.

Just saying but Hobi’s brushing his teeth with his index...

And Jin’s wearing red high Converse, the pair RM praised in “Converse High,” a solo song he released on the group’s Soundcloud before a group version was added in 화양연화 Pt.1.

During the scene in the stairs, there are only six members, V doesn’t appear. (Fun fact: based on their outfits and on the episode, they may have filmed this scene while V was filming the one at the train station and then they got together for the scene on the clothes mountain.)

Jin and V make the same gesture with their hands, figuring a frame in front of them. (Note that Jin was associated with a polaroid during The Most Beautiful Moment in Life.)

All along the MV, we can see Jimin carrying a pair of shoes (see the end of the post for explanations).

Concerning his scene at the beach, it was filmed where they also made the photo concept, at Jumunjin’s beach.

@brolovingtsukki noticed an interesting reflection effect on that shot. It also happens in "Blood, Sweat & Tears” Japanese version.

In the laundromat, you can see a poster advertising a Crossover washer and the same mountains that’ll appear in “Daydream.” The clock indicates 9:35.

After Jung Kook exit the laundromat, there’s a scene where they all run. V happens to not be on one of the shot... because he forgot to go into the shot...

Now about the shoes that Jimin picked up and kept with him. At the end of the MV, the shoes are hanged to a tree, filmed in Hyeongdo island (cr.), most likely near Seodalli road (cr.). It has several meanings but one of them is to commemorate the death of a person. The person’s shoes are hanged where they died as a memento.

We got more details about the meaning of those shoes in the episode of Good Insight dedicated to Bang Shihyuk. A member of Lumpens explained the shoes are people who are different and the boys take those people with them and make sure to remember them (the hanging on the tree).
