It is all painfully coming together
#this is not to be alarming im simply referring to the drawing ive been busting my ass on since tuesday#which i worked considerably hard on yesterday... went for 7 straight hours really. and had to tear myself away from it to finally eat#and unhappily showered and went to bed for the night#i was making great progress relatively smoothly all day but when i left it i was at the point of spotting something i had to correct#so i was in quite a mood when i left it and feeling a lot of anguish picking it back up today#but i really am starting to get it more and more down how i think i ought to be. and the adderall will still be active in me for hours#here's to hoping i finish the damned thing today. it's due monday but i REALLY don't wanna even be doing the finishing touches tomorrow.#if im not spraying this thing w fixative to lock the charcoal in place by tonight im gonna be really unhappy#(it's due monday)#tales from diana#also my setup w two chairs (one for me to sit in and one to hold up my drawing board) is REALLY uncomfortable#when im drawing from life it's not so much a problem bc i hold it in my lap but this time i have a photo reference#and it's kinda just really messy to hold it on my lap w subtractive drawing anyway. i always end up erasing the corners w my sleeve.#i keep being locked in a leaning-forward manspreading position so i can get closer to my drawing to see it#it's like im ABOUT to sit up. but holding that position for hours at a time.#i wish i had a stool and eisele#is that the right spelling? it's what my phone suggested#it rhymes weasel and has no starting consonant. that thing that word.

pairing: college!ellie williams x reader

author’s note: this is un(necessarily) LONG, so take your time to read it. i hope you still enjoy it !! <3

monday
you were in front of your dorm, digging for your keys in the mess of your backpack when a high-pitched voice yelled your name. of course, it could only belong to you best friend, blair. you prepared yourself to receive one of her bone-crushing hugs.
“there you are! i sent you like a million messages!”
“everything okay?” you asked before pulling away.
“yeah, i just have a little proposal.”
you narrowed your eyes at her, “what are you scheming?”
“you see, my gorgeous boyfriend is throwing this massive party on friday—”
“immediately no.”
“oh, c’mon!” she grumbled. “it’s been like five months since the last time we went out together. i miss my drunk little partner,” she pouted, pinching your cheek.
you let out a laugh, softly pushing away her hand out of your face. “i’m not exactly in a party mood, blair. i’m sorry.”
you made a poor attempt to avoid eye contact, but the weight of her stare was a difficult one to ignore. you looked back at her, already defeated.
“it’s nothing serious, but i’ve just been feeling a little insecure. and i’m okay,” you were quick to clarify, “i just want to stay in my dorm and watch a movie or something. it’s only temporary, i’ll feel better soon. you know i always do,” you opened the door and waited for her to inside first.
“how many times do i have to tell you you’re gorgeous for you to believe me? look at you!”
“blair—”
“i’m serious.”
“i know you are. thank you,” you replied softly. “forget about it, let’s just go inside. i’m tired and i wanna sleep.”
your friend had a worried look on her face, but decided to drop the subject, “still no roommate?”
“nope,” you grinned, closing the door behind you. “i’d invite you to live with me but you’re too busy staying at your boyfriend’s,” you teased her.
“can you blame me? his apartment is the size of a million of these dorms combined,” she exaggerated. “besides, he’s the sweetest man to ever exist. he’s every girl’s dream.” she sighed dreamily as she threw herself on the unoccupied bed. you raised your eyebrows at her, to which she rolled her eyes. “if he were a girl you’d be after him, too.”
after your friend bragged about her boyfriend for a few more minutes, both of you ended up falling asleep, totally drained from your long, boring classes. you woke up two hours later thanks to blair’s boyfriend who called her wondering where she was.
“wanna go grab some coffee? he’s paying!” blair offered with a big smile, which you returned.
“maybe he is every girl’s dream after all.”
you and blair headed outside shortly after, gossiping about people you didn’t even know. suddenly, your sleepy eyes spotted something strange on the door, more specifically, on the whiteboard you had outside. someone had left an anonymous message on it.
the prettiest girl on campus (and of everywhere else too) i wish i could come up with the courage to talk to you. guess i’ll just admire you from afar
ps: not in a creepy way
ps2: seriously sorry if this is creepy
you stared blankly at the message, reading it over and over again.
“did you do this?”
“hold on, i’m looking for that one tweet i saw. i’m telling you, she’s cheating on him—”
“blair!”
she finally looked up from her phone, “what?”
“did you do this?” you pointed at the board.
her expression comically changed from confusion to extreme excitement, eyes widened and mouth hung open. an over exaggerated gasp left her lips before she grabbed you by the shoulders.
“oh my god! you have a secret admirer!”
“no, i don’t. that’s probably not for me. someone must’ve mistaken my dorm for somebody else’s.”
“your name is literally on that board. besides, you are the prettiest girl to ever exist, so, i’m pretty sure they’re not mistaken.” blair kept looking at the note, meticulously analyzing it. “let’s pray it’s not a man who wrote this. imagine if he confesses his feelings for you in person. he’d be in for a very awkward rejection.”
you tried to downplay the situation by telling blair it was probably just a joke, but on the inside you couldn’t stop wondering who did it. as you walked down the hallway, you discreetly checked the whiteboards from the other dorms. all they had were random doodles and people’s names, nothing else.
tuesday
you were currently sitting under a big tree, admiring the sunset. birds chirped softly at the distance, adding even more magic to the beautiful scenery in front of you, but even the peaceful atmosphere that surrounded you wasn’t enough to calm your racing mind.
the anonymous note was certainly the most interesting thing that had happened to you in a while, but you were a serial overthinker. besides making you feel extremely curious about the identity of the person who wrote it, it had also made you spiral about the way you acted towards strangers.
being content with your small circle, you never put any effort in starting conversations with someone you didn’t already know. you felt as if you didn’t need anyone else in your life, but was that a mistake? what if the mystery person tried talking to you but you acted uninterested? what if they attempted to make eye contact but you were too busy staring down?
the most important question spinning around your head was how many special bonds had you lost simply because of your behavior?
as your silent crisis continued, the sun began to disappear on the horizon until it was fully dark. your eyes quickly found the moon, with the sky being clear, you could see her perfectly.
you took out your phone to take some pictures of the satellite, as well as everything else around you. the trees, your coffee cup, an empty bench and an orange cat that was laying next to it.
just as you were taking photos of the cute animal, someone crouched down next to him to pet him. that was the moment you saw her. a girl you had never seen before, but who managed to catch your attention right away. she was simply beautiful. many people, places, art pieces and more had been described with that adjective, but in your mind, that unknown girl was the first being in history to be worthy of it. you were completely mesmerized.
you put down your phone and watched the sweet moment develop in front of you. you could tell she was speaking to the cat, who seemed to really enjoy her company. the girl got up after a few minutes, giving the cat one last scratch between his ears before leaving. a frown instantly appeared on her face the moment she looked away from the animal, making you chuckle. she looked absolutely intimidating, the total opposite of what you had just witnessed.
your eyes followed her until she disappeared from your sight, but her image stayed on your mind for the rest of the day.
wednesday
you were having one of those days when everything that can go wrong, goes wrong. you had slept through your alarm, didn’t have time to have breakfast, couldn’t find your books and forgot your jacket on your way out. one may think it couldn’t get worse, well, unfortunately, it could.
you felt your soul escape your body when the, feared by many, physics professor laid his demonic eyes on you. you were certain you looked insane; hair a total mess, completely out of breath and slightly shaking from your nervousness.
“class started ten minutes ago,” his strident voice echoed in the big classroom. you didn’t even need to look to know everyone’s eyes were on you.
“i know,” your voice pathetically quivered. “sorry.”
“for your information, if you have somewhere to be you wake early enough to make it on time. it’s not rocket science, all of your classmates did it.” when he got no reply from you, he sighed. “there’s only one more seat available at the back. lucky for you, you’ll be sitting next to one of my best students. maybe you could be friends, she could teach you how to get here on time.”
with your eyes glued to the floor, you walked straight to where the professor pointed to without making a sound. you tried your best to ignore your classmates’ stares, but they lacked discretion.
fortunately for you, a nice surprised awaited you. the student the professor mentioned was none other than the girl you had seen the day before. she was even more beautiful up-close, which wasn’t exactly a good thing. she had just witnessed your most embarrassing moment. still, her eyes radiated kindness.
“this guy’s an idiot. you were only a few minutes late and didn’t even miss much. he was just struggling to turn on the projector the whole time,” the girl whispered at you once you sat down.
you were ready to reply with just a ‘yeah’, but the crisis you had the day before stopped you.
“he’s the worst,” you replied instead. “i always feel on the verge of puking whenever he looks at me,” the regret you felt after saying that was immediate, fearing it was too much information.
you felt yourself relax at the sound of her laugh, and of course it had to be the most heavenly sound you had ever heard.
“i’m ellie williams,” she leaned in, reaching over for your hand. you introduced yourself as your brain started mindlessly picking up details about her, like the fact that she had many freckles scattered all over her face.
you held her gaze for a few seconds before looking back at the professor, who had begun talking about punctuality. he sent you multiple looks during his whole speech, you found it hilarious. he looked like as if his eyes were about to pop out of his sockets.
trying to act as normal as possible, you grabbed your water bottle and took a sip in an attempt to calm down. you realized that was a huge mistake once you glanced at ellie, who was trying her hardest to hold in her laugh. you almost spit out your water when she made eye contact with you, causing you to choke.
“shit, you alright?” she leaned in, now fully laughing, and patted your back.
“yes— yeah,” you managed to say in between your coughing and laughing. you looked around, noticing how quiet the classroom had gotten. yours’ and ellie’s voices were the only thing cutting through the deadly silence. “sorry, i choked on water— sorry,” you apologized to the professor, who was impatiently tapping his foot on the floor.
“may i continue, ladies? is that okay with you two or should i wait for you to be done?” neither of you answered, so he let out one of his classic sighs. “as i was saying…”
the moment he looked away, you covered your face with your hands, trying to muffle the giggles that were escaping your lips. ellie was in the same state as you, which only made things worse.
“if he didn’t hate me before, he sure does now,” you whispered, eyes sparkling with amusement. “why does he have to be such a dick? it’s not like a choked on purpose. i could’ve died,” you dramatized.
actually, it’d be very rare to die from choking on a liquid, ellie almost said, but she didn’t want you to think she was a smart-ass. instead, she just kept laughing.
silence grew between the two of you as you came back to your notes and tried to pay attention to the class. ellie’s eyes inevitably fell on you again, trying to come up with something to say to keep the conversation going.
“you know, i, personally, wouldn’t take advice from a person like him, but i think he’s right about us being friends.”
“yeah, i think he is,” you warmly smiled before looking down at your notes again, unable to hold her gaze.
having fun in physics class seemed impossible at the beginning of the semester, but it had actually happened. you and ellie talked the whole time, which made the minutes go by faster than expected and also annoyed everyone around you.
“see you next wednesday? try to be on time, though. i don’t want him to kill you in front of the whole class.”
you laughed at ellie’s words and nodded, “see you next week.”
i really hope it’s sooner than that, the thought appeared in your mind without warning. you watched ellie go, a shy smile appeared on your lips when she glanced back at you and caught you staring.
the rest of the morning felt boring and uneventful in comparison to physics class, so you were really excited to finally be back at your dorm. your tired eyes fell on the whiteboard, no message from the mystery person. you tried to ignore how weirdly disappointed you felt and went inside, telling yourself it had been, probably, a one time thing.
thursday
shyness had never been a problem for you but, still, socializing wasn’t really your thing. if there was a chance for you to avoid interaction with strangers, you took it, so it was certainly weird seeing ellie at the dining hall and feeling an intense need to say hi. good thing she wasn’t exactly a stranger, right?
she was sitting alone in one of the most secluded tables, eyes focused on her phone. without giving it much thought, you walked towards her, but you began second guessing your decision once you realized she probably wanted to be alone. your steps became more hesitant the closer you got to her and just as you were about to turn around and leave she looked up. her surprised expression quickly changed into a delighted one.
“hey,” she greeted as she took off her headphones.
“hi,” you smiled back as a feeling of panic started setting in. you had absolutely no idea of what to say to her.
“you can sit if you’d like,” she offered, gesturing to the seat in front of her.
“you’re not busy? i can leave if you alone if—”
“no way,” ellie shook her head and, with her foot, pushed the chair towards you before looking up at you. “c’mon, sit.”
the moment you sat down, she leaned forward. you, instinctively, leaned back, but kept your hands just a few inches away from hers. you bit the inside of your cheek, trying your hardest to hold her gaze.
“so, how you’ve been? had any nightmares about our beloved professor yelling at you?” ellie asked, amused. you internally thanked her for starting the conversation.
“i can see his spit flying at me in slow motion whenever i close my eyes,” you replied, making ellie laugh. “that was definitely the last time i’m late to class. i hate attention, if i have to go through something like that again i’ll just die on the spot.”
ellie’s smile hadn’t faded since the moment she saw you, “just try not to be late to any of his classes, he’s the only one who gives you shit for that,” she adviced. “i knew he was insane because i’ve heard about it, so i tried to get on his good side by always being early. i considered sitting at the front, too, but that was too much.”
“you always sit at the back?”
“yeah, i don’t like having people behind me. for some reason, it really freaks me out knowing someone is staring at the back of my head.”
you hummed in response, mind deep in thought. you never looked at the back when you entered the classroom, in fact, you kept your head down, but ellie had always been there.
how many special bonds had you lost simply because of your behavior?
“hey, my friend’s boyfriend is throwing a party this friday, i was wondering if you’d like to go.”
“cool, yeah, of course,” ellie quickly replied.
“yeah?” you beamed, biting down your bottom lip.
“yes,” she nodded, the corners of her mouth quirking up again, “can i bring a friend?”
“sure,” you smiled. you took out a pen and a post-it from your backpack and wrote the address before sticking it on her hand. your eyes wandered further and ended up on her watch. without a second thought, you grabbed her wrist and pulled her closer to you, tilting your head to see the time. “shit, i gotta go to class, but i’ll see you friday?”
“see you then,” ellie said, but she didn’t want you to leave, and you didn’t want to go either. she hesitated before calling your name, making you turn around. “can i walk you to class?”
the question lingered in the air as you processed it. it had caught you completely off guard, which ellie could tell just by seeing your expression. fearing she messed up, time began moving slower and slower to her until you finally accepted her offer with a huge grin on your face.
ellie released the air stuck in her lungs before catching up with you. anyone with a pair of working eyes could see how nervous the two of you were, except yourselves. you were too busy focused on not to embarrass yourself by tripping and ellie was trying to regulate her breathing. neither of you dared to talk because it would make it too obvious, but ellie finally broke the silence once you stepped outside, asking you what class you had.
you had always hated small talk because you feared there’d be a point in which you wouldn’t know what else to say, but that moment never came with ellie. the conversation flowed smoothly between smiles and chuckles from the both of you.
“oh, look!” she suddenly said, casually grabbing you by your shoulder as if she had done it a thousand times before. you followed her line of sight and gasped when your eyes spotted a familiar orange cat. it was the same one you had seen ellie pet when you didn’t even know her yet. “wanna go say hi?”
“how is that even a question?”
ellie was the first one to approach him, crouching down in front of him. you copied her action a second later, already eager to pet him.
“his name is orange. original, right?” ellie sarcastically asked, gaining a laugh from you. “i didn’t name him, by the way. he has a tag with his name.”
“hi, little guy,” you pouted, scratching the back of his head.
“he must live nearby because he’s always here,” ellie told you. “he’s missing an eye, but he’s still cute, right?” she glanced over her shoulder.
you two were close. closer than a simple girl like ellie could handle. your perfume was all that she could smell, you were the only thing she could look at and her own heartbeat was the only sound she could hear.
“he’s the cutest,” you chuckled.
you stayed there for a couple more minutes. ellie told you about the first time she saw orange and you told her about the pets you had back home. it was such a sweet conversation, both of you using soft voices to not scare the cat away.
“alright, let’s go. i don’t want you being late to another class,” ellie told you as she stood up. “see you later, dude,” she waved at orange. surprisingly, the cat meowed back. “we’re best friends,” ellie jokingly bragged as both of you began to walk again.
“do you think he’ll accept me as a friend, too?”
“oh, absolutely. he loves you already.”
you ended up getting to class just in time, but you wouldn’t have cared if you were late. if it were for you, you would’ve skipped it just to keep hanging out with ellie.
“see you tomorrow, then?” you asked, hopeful.
“see you tomorrow,” ellie confirmed as she took a few steps back in your opposite direction, her eyes never leaving you until she fully turned around.
friday
it had been a while since you’d last chosen an outfit with someone in mind, wondering if they would like it. it took a while, but you finally settled on one. it was neatly laying on top of your bed.
“she’ll totally fall in love when she sees you in that,” blair’s voice cut through the silence, startling you.
“i’ve no idea who you’re talking about,” you obviously lied.
“maybe the girl you’ve been talking to me about since you met her?” blair guessed, “or is it the mysterious person who left you that note on monday?”
“it’s not weird that i still think about who could it be, is it?”
even if you had many other things to think about, the identity of the secret admirer, as blair had called them, was something that you were still curious about. it was difficult not to overthink every interaction you had with strangers, especially those who you’d catch staring or were friendlier than normal with you.
“are you kidding? if i were you, i would’ve asked every single person on campus if they knew anything about it,” she sat down on your bed, next to where your clothes were and handed them to you with a wink. “both ellie and the secret admirer will die when they see you tonight.”
a pathetic giggle escaped your lips on the way to the bathroom. you quickly changed into your chosen outfit, a rare feeling of exciment growing on inside you.
once you arrived at the party, you wasted no time and started looking for ellie. there were many familiar faces in the already drunken crowd, some of them even waved at you, but you didn’t even notice. between the lights and the loud music, you could barely pay attention to your own thoughts.
“what was she like again?” blair asked you, trying to help you find her.
“hot,” you replied, still scanning the room.
“right, thanks. that really helps.”
you laughed, “she’s—” your description was cut short when you suddenly locked eyes with her across the room. there was someone by her side, a girl who looked familiar but you couldn’t pinpoint where you knew her from. “she’s here.”
ellie leaned into her friend’s ear to say something, but her eyes never left yours. you tried to remain calm as you watched her walk towards you, looking annoyingly attractive.
“hey, there you are,” she greeted once she was close enough for you to hear her.
“hi! you came,” you beamed. “this is blair, my best friend. blair, this is ellie.”
“it’s really nice to meet you,” ellie shot a quick glance at your friend before glueing her eyes on you again.
knowing that that was her cue to leave, blair gave you a squeeze on your arm, “if you’ll excuse me, i have to go find my boyfriend. enjoy the party,” she wiggled her eyebrows at you before disappearing into the crowd.
“shouldn’t you call your friend over?” it was a genuine question, not wanting ellie to ditch the person she was with for you, but you also needed to know if she was really just a friend.
ellie looked over her shoulder and let out a chuckle, “i think she’s pretty busy.”
confused, you looked behind her. all of your doubts were cleared once you spotted her, she was making out with some girl.
she was definitely just a friend.
“oh,” you let out a short laugh. “good for her.”
ellie nodded at your words before looking back at you again. you were still distracted by the show ellie’s friend was giving and were completely oblivious to the spell you had put her under.
“you look really good,” she blurted out.
you broke into a sweet smile at the sudden compliment, “oh, thank you. you do too. really, really good.”
the fluttering of your heart made you want to burst into giggles, feeling extremely giddy. it was obvious how flustered you were, but seeing ellie in the same state as you made you feel slightly better. you would’ve never guess she’d be the type of person who blushes.
“wanna go for something to drink?”
you nodded at her question before reaching for her hand with the excuse of not losing each other on the way to the kitchen. ellie’s fingers quickly intertwined with yours as you started to lead the way. you offered many apologizes to the people who you accidentally bumped into, the place was absolutely packed and it was difficult to move. the kitchen was no different, you had barely any place to walk.
you grabbed two beer bottles and handed one to ellie, who looked a bit flushed from the previous interaction.
“next time someone doesn’t move after i say ‘excuse me’ i’ll just hit them on their ribs,” you furrowed your eyebrows. “where did they put the bottle opener?” you muttered to yourself, but ellie seemed to have heard you.
“here, let me help.”
you passed her the bottle and watched as she opened it against the table, taking the top off immediately.
“impressive,” you praised her before taking a sip. you grimaced at the taste.
ellie leaned back on the kitchen island, keeping her eyes on you. there was an amused smirk on her lips, “you don’t like it?”
“not really. i mean, it’s not like i hate it, but i only drink beer when there’s no other option,” you shrugged your shoulders. “i think there’s more to drink over there but there’s too many people and i don’t feel like getting trapped between sweaty drunk dudes.”
ellie swept her gaze over the kitchen before walking towards one of the many cabinets. “there’s gotta be something else in here,” she said as she opened every single door. “there it is!” ellie turned around and your eyes fell to her hands, she was holding a bottle of vodka. it was almost empty. “shots, anyone?” she offered.
a guy who was at the kitchen cheered, “hell yeah!”
ellie frowned, disgusted. “not you. go get your own bottle.”
a laugh escaped your lips at how disappointed the guy seemed to be, he immediately left after ellie’s words. “that was kind of mean,” you chuckled lightly.
ellie couldn’t tell you that she actually blew him off because of how shamelessly he checked you out the moment you entered the kitchen, so she just shrugged her shoulders. “he didn’t find it. open up,” she commanded you, placing a hand on your chin. you opened your mouth and felt how ellie poured the liquid down your throat.
“gross,” you wrinkled your nose. you grabbed the bottle from her hands and copied her action, softly grabbing her by her chin. she drank what was left of the vodka and you left the bottle on the counter behind her.
ellie smiled at you as she swiped her fingers across the corner of her lips. she gave you one last glance before walking past you. you watched her open more drawers and cabinets.
“psst, come here,” she called you over.
“what did you find?”
ellie looked around to check no one else was listening. you laughed at how secretive she was being. “look,” she whispered, she had found a box of chocolate covered strawberries. “shall we?” she offered, eyebrows up.
“absolutely,” you accepted, laughing. “but not here. let’s go to the balcony. it’s closed but i know where they keep the keys.”
ellie pushed herself off the table she was laying on and grabbed your hand, “i’ll lead this time, i know where it is.”
you stared down at your hands, blindly trusting her to guide you.
“how do you know where it is?”
“well, i kind of looked everywhere for you when i got here,” she admitted. “thought you stood me up.”
“sorry, i took forever to get ready,” you apologized, embarrassed.
“don’t worry, it was totally worth it,” ellie shot a quick glance at you as she said that, knowing it would mess you up. her personality changed from shy to flirty in a matter of seconds, so you didn’t really know what to expect of her.
you let out a sigh of relief once you were on the balcony, grateful for how muffled the people and music sounded from outside. “i remember why i haven’t gone out in months now,” you rolled your eyes.
“not a party girl, huh?” ellie let out a chuckle, leaning against the wall. she offered you a strawberry, which you gladly took.
“not lately,” you replied after taking a bite.
“so what made you go out tonight?”
you shrugged, “it was an impulse,” your answer was honest, but it was missing the rest of it.
because i wanted to see you again.
“it really helps you’re here, though,” you clarified. “actually, it doesn’t only help, you’re the only reason i’m enjoying this.”
“same here,” she smiled at you before looking up at the sky, she got lost in her thoughts for a moment before speaking up again. “it sucks that city lights don’t let us see the stars properly.”
you scoffed at her words, “i know, but hey, at least we have the moon,” you pointed at the satellite. “she never disappoints.”
there had been a few times were you felt as if the universe was on your side, somehow listening to you. that night was the moment you confirmed your theory because, coincidentally enough, the lights went off in what it seemed to be the entire city. a collective scream was heard from inside the apartment, along with multiple curses.
you took out your phone and turned on your flashlight, accidentally pointing it at ellie’s eyes.
“ow!” she let out, squinting her eyes. you couldn’t help but laugh, to which she complained.
“sorry, didn’t mean to blind you. especially now,” your excitement was enough to spark ellie’s curiosity.
“what do you mean?”
“come with me,” you grabbed her hand for the third time that day, knowing you’d miss doing that when the night came to an end. you still hadn’t gotten used to the weird, almost electric feeling that tingled in your palm whenever you touched her.
you guided her through the disappointed multitude, letting out apologies every now and then and also pushing those who didn’t move after you politely asked. you couldn’t blame them, though, they had used the darkness to their advantage and were shamelessly making out.
the air was ten times colder on the terrace than it was on the balcony, but neither of you cared because once you looked up you forgot about everything else. well, except maybe each other.
the view was completely breathtaking. without the light pollution, the sky looked straight out of a painting.
“it’s like looking straight at space,” you whispered, eyes sparkling with excitement. you had only seen the stars like that once in your life when you were a kid. it was as magical as you remembered, and the person you were sharing the moment with only made everything more special.
“i know,” ellie gazed at you before looking up again. “it blows my mind.”
as the night went on, you talked about many different things whilst laying on the floor; how your lives back home were, your friends, your families, favorite movies and songs and of course, with both of you being astronomy students, space-related stuff. you two were interested in each other’s point of view about everything, so you discussed many different subjects, enjoying the freedom to be incredibly nerdy about it.
“our lifespan is way too short. i mean, think about it. look at how many things have changed and advanced in only a hundred years. can you imagine how the world will change in, like, a thousand years?”
“maybe in fifty more years scientists will discover the key to immortality and we’ll be able to see everything,” ellie shrugged her shoulders. “or we could try to discover it ourselves once we graduate.”
you let out a laugh, “such an easy thing to do,” you sarcastically said. “i’m in, but maybe we could try with something easier, like, finding extraterrestrial forms of life, perhaps?”
“apparently, they are already here,” ellie pointed out.
you turned your head at her, “we’ll be the first to make friends with them, then. we’re pretty nice people, they’ll warm up to us.”
“deal,” she smiled at you, inevitably glancing at your lips for a second due to the proximity.
you kept enjoying each other’s company. there were moments in which neither of you spoke but, surprisingly enough, you didn’t care. even silence was fun with her.
neither of you had experienced a connection as strong as the one you had, especially in such a short amount of time. you didn’t question it, thought, it just made sense.
after a while, the power came back. the city was illuminated and the music from the party was back on. you two sat up, a little saddened that you couldn’t stargaze anymore.
“it was fun while it lasted,” you commented, ready to return to the apartment. you picked up the beer bottles from the floor, along with the empty box of chocolate strawberries.
“we can always go camping,” ellie suggested. “the sky will look even better than tonight.”
“i have zero survival skills, so you’d be in charge of everything. i can interest you with some random facts, though.”
“sounds good,” she laughed as she stood by the door and opened it, waiting for you to go inside first. the walk to the apartment was quiet, hating the fact the that night was coming to an end.
the loud music welcomed you again, people were even crazier after having to wait half an hour for the power to come back. it surprised you to see the same amount of people, apparently, none of them had left.
“i know it’s a friday night but, how the fuck has your friend managed to not get kicked out yet?” ellie leaned into your ear.
“this building is mostly occupied by other students, so they are probably at the party, too,” you explained, raising your voice a little so she could hear you.
everyone was euphorically dancing, making up for the lost time. you glanced at ellie before grabbing her hand and dragging her to the improvised dance floor. she instantly followed you, completely mesmerized.
“oh my god, there you are! i thought i was imagining things when i saw you earlier,” a familiar voice said from behind you. it was tara, you shared some classes and had been partners in a project once. “you look so good.”
“oh, hey, tara. this ell—”
“yeah, hi,” she interrupted you, only glancing at ellie for half a second. “could you walk me to the bathroom? i– i don’t know where it is and i feel pretty sick.”
your eyes flickered between the two girls. you obviously wanted to stay with ellie, but tara had put you in a really awkward position.
“uh…” you hesitated, “where are your friends?”
“they already left,” she frowned. “c’mon, babe, come with me? please.”
the nickname she used echoed in ellie’s mind.
“i can’t, i—”
“you should go. i should check on my friend, so…” ellie’s lips were in a straight line, but she forced a smile when you looked at her.
“why don’t you come with us?”
ellie would’ve agreed if she hadn’t seen the nasty look tara had given her. she wasn’t intimidated by her in the slightest, but the thought of being a burden and indirectly forcing you not to leave her alone was enough to let you go, even if she didn’t want to.
“no, really. i need to go see if she’s okay. i’ll find you later.”
you didn’t have time to respond, because you had already been dragged away from there. tara started chatting your ear off about stuff you didn’t care, you could only think about ellie.
“do you want me to call you an uber or something?” you asked her.
“why would i wanna leave?”
“you said you were sick and you’re pretty drunk, you should go home.”
“oh, no, silly. i live in this building, maybe you could walk me to my apartment?”
you refrained from rolling your eyes in front of her and realized that the sooner you got rid of her, the sooner you could go back to the girl you actually wanted to be with.
“c’mon, let’s go,” you said. on the way out you messaged blair to find ellie and tell her you’d be right back, to which she answered she was on it.
you took the elevator to her floor. you could tell tara wanted you to initiate a conversation by the way she was looking at you, but you couldn’t care less about her. she hadn’t noticed, apparently, because she started talking about god knows what as you walked behind her, completely zoned out.
“wanna come in?” she asked you once you were outside her apartment. her intentions were crystal clear but, as flattered as you were, you couldn’t help but feel completely uncomfortable.
“uh, no, thanks,” you awkwardly said.
“you sure? i’ve got—”
“yes, tara, i’m sure. i gotta go, i’m sorry. you’ll be okay, though, right? see you around,” you took a step back with each word you said, by the end of the sentence you were in front of the elevator. you heard tara let out a very confused ‘bye’ before the doors closed.
you impatiently tapped your foot against the floor, wondering why was the elevator taking so long. once you were back at the party you immediately searched for ellie, but she was nowhere to be found. instead, you saw blair, who had a worried look on her face.
“hey,” you approached her. “did you talk to ellie?”
“i couldn’t. i saw her leave with that girl she was with like a minute after you texted me,” she grimaced. “what happened? why were you with tara?”
you sighed, “i’m so stupid,” you groaned. “tara found me and she put me in this really difficult spot, so i had to walk her to her apartment because she was pretty fucking drunk and feeling very sick, or at least that’s what she told me, and i did it as fast as i could, but—”
“okay, okay. stop. why don’t you text ellie and—”
“i don’t have her number.”
“try instagram?”
“i tried finding her on instagram the same day i met her and i couldn’t,” you awkwardly confessed. “she probably thinks i blew her off for stupid tara.”
“hey, calm down. i’m sure you’ll see her soon.”
sadly, that soon never came. saturday, sunday, monday and tuesday went by painfully slow. there was no sight of ellie.
wednesday
you were a hopeless romantic, even if you didn’t admit it out loud. deep down, you knew that meeting ellie wasn’t a coincidence. it could’ve happened at any given moment due to being classmates, but it did when you needed it the most.
it was unexpected, but as said before, you felt as if sometimes the universe was on your side, listening to your deepest desires, the ones you didn’t know needed to be fulfilled.
you had never felt a connection as genuine as the one you had with her. everything seemed easy with her, making you feel you’d known her for longer than a week.
that doesn’t happen often, especially to you, so you would do anything in your power to fix things.
you were currently in physics class, counting down the minutes for it to end. you had to fight the urge to look at the back to see if ellie was there.
the thought of her being mad at you for practically abandoning at the party you invited her to made you sick. you also feared she didn’t care at all, which was a hundred times worse.
once the class ended you waited for her outside, trying to calm down your racing heart. the majority of students had already come out. you had just started to lose hope of seeing her when you finally heard her voice. she was saying goodbye to the professor.
“hi,” you nervously smiled when she was in front of you. her looking as good as always didn’t help you calm down at all. “i’ve been hoping to see you since friday. i wanted to apologize—”
“oh, you don’t have to do that. i get it. i saw you leave with that girl, tara, was it? it’s okay, you don’t have to explain anything—”
“no, no. i didn’t leave with her,” you clarified. “she wasn’t feeling good so she asked me to walk her to her apartment, which was in that same building, and i only did it to get rid of her. i know i sound like a major dick, but i wanted to go back to you as soon as possible,” you confessed, heart beating a hundred miles per minute.
“you did?” there was a smile hiding on her lips, you could tell by the tone she used. she was amused and obviously enjoyed seeing you flustered.
“yes, and i told blair to find you and tell you that i’d be right back, but when i did you had already left and i had no way of communicating with you, so…” ellie was quiet, so you continued. “i’m sorry.“
it felt like an eternity until she spoke again. “i’m sorry i left.”
“it’s not your fault,“ you mused. “it’s tara’s.”
“it so is,” ellie let out a chuckle. “i’ll fuck her up.”
you laughed, which made ellie’s stomach flip. both of you became numb to your surroundings as you stared into each other’s eyes, dumb smiles plastered on your faces.
“hey, about that paper that we have to do on electromagnetism. would you, maybe, uh, want to do it with me?”
“yes, i’d love to,” you grinned. “we could meet at the library tomorrow. do you have any classes in the morning?”
“just one, it ends at 10.”
“see you at 11?”
“yeah,” ellie nodded.
“oh, i almost forgot,” you said before taking out your phone. ellie curiously watched you type something before you handed it to her.
an adorable smile formed on her lips when she saw you were asking for her number. you had already typed in her name with the alien emoji next to it.
“thank you,” you mused when she gave your phone back to you. you instantly sent her a text so she could save your number on hers, too.
“see you tomorrow :)”
ellie looked up from her phone, mouth upturned. “see you then.”
tuesday
“the library’s closed,” ellie announced the moment she saw you.
the lights were turned off and there was a sign on the door that read ‘closed for reparations’.
“awh, man,” you complained. “why didn’t they tell us sooner—”
“actually, they did. i just checked and they sent us an email about a week ago, we just don’t check our inbox,” ellie interrupted you, grimacing.
“oh, our fault then,” you shrugged your shoulders. “um, maybe we could go to my dorm? i don’t have a roommate so nobody will bother us,” you offered.
“woah, i’d give everything to have my dorm all to myself,” she groaned, tilting her head back. “why don’t you have a roommate?”
you didn’t realize you had already started walking together, mindlessly leading the way to your dorm.
“i had one at the beginning of the semester, but then she dropped out or something. they told me i’ll probably get one next semester, so i’m enjoying it while it lasts,” you explained.
ellie huffed, “my roommate is a music producer. she’s pretty considerate but sometimes she has to listen to her songs without headphones,” she rolled her eyes. “i think i’m gonna find a job and move out to an apartment.”
“you totally should. i’d do it too if i were capable of balancing work and college,” you told her. “you’re welcome to stay at mine’s for as long as you want and whenever you want, by the way.”
“really?” she grinned. “you’re already asking me to live together? i haven’t even met your parents, yet.”
you rolled your eyes, a playful smile growing on your lips, “fine, my offer is off the table, then.”
“oh, no. now it’s too late. i’m moving in tomorrow morning.”
ellie spent the entire walk planning an itinerary for when she moved in with you, which basically consisted in eating breakfast together, go to class, come back and have lunch together, have more classes, come back and have dinner together then have a sleepover every night.
“sounds fun, huh?”
“super fun,” you chuckled as you opened the door for her. “guests first,” you stepped aside, inviting her in.
“hey, this is practically my dorm, too, now,” ellie joked, curiously looking around as she scratched the back of her neck. she was trying her hardest not to show how nervous she actually was, but the fluttering on her stomach made it really hard.
you were in the same state as her, trying not to freak out. your eyes discreetly checked every corner of the room, making sure everything was in order and there was nothing embarrassing laying around.
ellie chuckled to herself when she noticed the ceiling was decorated with a bunch of stickers that glowed in the dark. stars and planets were placed all over.
“i know they’re childish,” you wrinkled your nose, visibly cringing.
“are you kidding? i love them. these will be the first thing i’ll buy for my new place,” her gaze fell from the ceiling to your eyes, a genuine smile spreading across her lips.
ellie kept looking around your dorm, grabbing stuff that caught her attention. it was funny seeing her ask for permission each time, looking back at you and pointing at the object she wanted to check out.
you took out your laptop from your backpack and sat down on your bed. it immediately bummed you out when you remembered that you had to do an assignment and weren’t just hanging out for fun.
“i’m gonna create a google drive file so we can both edit it later in case we don’t finish it today,” you informed her.
“yeah, that’s a good idea,” ellie replied, focused on a bracelet she had found on your desk. then, she continued snooping around your things, sometimes mumbling cool and i’m going to borrow this.
you checked the questions you had to answer and immediately sighed, “i’m completely lost.”
“want me to explain it to you?” she offered and you obviously accepted. ellie looked at the big whiteboard behind her and grabbed a marker from your desk. “okay, so you know that the earth’s core is mainly composed of liquid in the outer core and solid iron in the inner core?”
you tried your hardest to keep your attention on what she was saying, but the task turned impossible. her voice sounded muffled and you could only focus on how good she looked. you let out a few yeahs and rights when you thought it was appropriate, but the truth was that you didn’t know what the hell she was talking about.
“and this field has existed for at least three billions years, which is nuts, right?” you ears managed to make out of all the things she was saying. you saw how she laughed, clearly enjoying talking about the subject. you probably would too if you could be capable of actually listen and process what she was saying.
you watched as she continued to write and draw stuff on the board at the same time she explained something to you, but you couldn’t keep your eyes off of her.
“that’s about it, got it?” she asked, turning around.
“uh…” you let out, not being capable of forming an actual sentence.
ellie chuckled, amused, “you alright?”
“yes, it’s just—”
“was there something you didn’t understand? i can go over it again,” ellie kindly offered, but you could hardly hear her over the loud beating of your heart.
you weren’t really planning to, but you stood up. it was as if you were on autopilot, there was something else controlling your body and you couldn’t do anything to stop it. you walked closer to ellie, who looked confused.
“if i’m being honest, i didn’t listen to a word you said,” you confessed, smiling guiltily. “i swear i tried to, but there was something else on my mind.”
“what’s that?” ellie asked in a whisper, eyes scanning your face. you were extremely close to her.
“i don’t think i can go another minute without kissing you,” you softly confessed, looking up into her eyes. her pupils were dilated and a light blush had started to color her cheeks.
“no one is stopping you,” she replied, wholly captivated by you.
not even a second later, you crashed your lips into hers. ellie joyfully giggled, but that didn’t stop her from hungrily kissing you back. her hands found their way up to the sides of your face while yours ended up tangled in her hair.
ellie broke the kiss first, but your lips were still touching. “i’m still deeply disappointed you didn’t listen to my physics lesson.”
“i’m sorry,” you chuckled. “i heard some parts, you were great. i learned a lot.”
ellie smiled before leaning in again, bringing you impossibly closer to her as she gave you a breathtaking kiss. you melted against her, already eager for the kiss to end just so you could do it over and over again.
“this would’ve happened sooner if it weren’t for tara,” ellie joked, reaching over to grab your hand.
“i’ll kill her next time i see her,” you were standing so close to each other that you replied with a whisper.
ellie frowned, “you’re not seeing her again.”
“oh? i would’ve never guessed you were the jealous type,” you teased her, placing your arms on her shoulders again and bringing her even closer to you. ellie looked even better than before. her lips were reddened, her hair was a mess and her eyes had become even more hypnotic.
you could’ve stayed admiring her for hours, but a glance over her shoulder was all it took for you to wake up from your trance. you walked past her to take a closer look at the whiteboard she had used. it wasn’t what she had written that caught your attention, but the handwriting itself. it looked incredibly familiar.
your mind quickly came up with a crazy theory, which ellie’s expression confirmed the moment you looked back at her.
“you were the one who left me that note on my door?”
ellie’s confident and teasing demeanor was long gone. she looked panicked. her heartbeat accelerated significantly and she felt as she was running out of air.
“oh my god,” your mouth fell agape, a smile creeping up on your lips. “you did!”
she covered her face with her hands, letting out a groan, “you weren’t supposed to know that.”
“why?”
“it’s embarrassing! we didn’t even know each other when i did it. it’s weird—”
“it’s sweet!”
“it’s weird,” she repeated, not being able to look at you.
you smiled fondly at her, reaching for her hand and giving her a squeeze, “it really helped me, you know? it was as if you knew i needed it.”
ellie grimaced, “well, i actually kind of did…”
“what do you mean?”
she sat down on your bed, making you sit next to her. you didn’t let go of her hand. instead, you played with her fingers in an attempt to calm her down.
“i visited my friend that day, her dorm is across the hall. i was just about to leave when i saw you coming. i panicked, so i hid and accidentally overheard what you were saying to your friend,” she admitted. “i meant what i wrote. i’ve thought that way about you ever since i first saw you. it seemed like the perfect moment to tell you, at least indirectly.”
“but why didn’t you tell me in person? or at least, talked to me sooner.”
“i’m not as brave as i look and you’re fucking intimidating.”
you let out a laugh in disbelief, “me, intimidating? look at you!”
“no, look at you. you’re way to beautiful for me to just come up to you and tell you that. who could have the guts?”
“oh my god, shut up,” you hid your face in your hands, feeling how your heart fluttered like crazy at her words.
“i couldn’t tell you after we began talking, either. we were just getting to know each other, it would’ve been weird,” ellie stared down at your intertwined hands. “it’s still kind of weird,” she mumbled more to herself than for you to hear.
not being able to take it anymore, you succumbed to the urge of throwing yourself at her, leaving many kisses all over her face. the sound of her laugh made the butterflies in your stomach to fly all over the place.
“you’re the sweetest girl i’ve ever met.”
“don’t say that about me. i have a reputation to maintain,” she jokingly rolled her eyes. “so, be honest, you don’t think it was weird?”
“of course not. i think it was fate.”
“fate?”
“wait here.”
you quickly walked over to your desk where you had left your phone. you immediately searched for the picture you had taken of her last tuesday and almost ran to show it to her.
“is that me?” ellie grabbed the phone from your hands and zoomed in the picture.
“yup,” you nodded. “this was the day before we first talked. i was taking pictures of orange and you appeared, out of nowhere. you looked as you’d beat the person who dared to speak to you,” a laugh escaped your lips. “i thought about for the rest of the day and hoped to see you again, and guess what? i did. see? it was fate.”
ellie warmly smiled, she caressed your cheek with her fingers before bringing you closer to give you the softest kiss ever given, “i guess it was.”

1:40 PM
you sat in history, your last period class, shaking your pencil hearing it tap, tap, tap with every move. eyes trained on the clock wishing the last twenty minutes would fly by quicker, eager to get your weekend started.
“for this project, you are all going to be in partners”
everyone shot up from their bored positions at their desks, starting conversations with friends deciding who’s working with who. you look over at your best friend, grinning.
“settle down, your partners were pre-chosen. i think we need some variety in the groups we see”
the class started to groan as the teacher stated that the partner lists were posted on the board, stating specifics on the projects and that it will be due on monday. everyone started to get up from their seats to check the list on the corkboard at the front of the room. you started to write down ideas, assuming your partner would find you.
of course it’s due monday, there goes my weekend. what’s the point of your parents going out of town if-
“uhm hey, i think we’re partners”
you look up, noticing charlie walker standing at the front of your desk, looking at the floor in front of him.
“you think or you checked the list and know?” you smirk at him, giggling to yourself.
“you got me there, i saw it on the list” he states, settling in the chair beside you.
he started rambling, talking about ideas he has for the project.
“okay charlie, here's the deal” you state bluntly, “my parents aren’t home for the weekend and i really want to get this project finished as soon as possible so i can have friends over on saturday”
he was taken back at your tone, shocked at the rude nature. he figured you didn’t like him, and wanted to get it over as soon as possible so you didn’t have to be seen with him. why else were you so angry when you had always been so sweet to everyone? weren’t you two friends?
“well we can do it after school and work on it today, i’m good at history so we should finish it really soon” he says quietly, trailing off towards the end.
“perfect” you say, grabbing your phone and handing it to the boy. “give me your number and i can text you my address”
the final bell rings and the class starts to gather their things. you sit up from your spot at the desk, collecting your books to leave. “i’ll shower when i get home and you can come over after, does three work?”
“sounds good.” he doesn’t look up from the desk as he’s still writing down notes.
“see you later, char” you say, giving him a smile he doesn’t notice.
walking back to your locker, you catch yourself thinking about him and how awkward he is, finding it indearing. you were excited to work on your project with him, you had a crush on him for a while and you hadn’t had any courage to say anything to him.
you grab your things and start the trek to your car, stopping your friend to tell her about your plans for today on your way out.
“the universe is giving you signs partnering you up with charlie, maybe it’s time to tell him about your crush.” she says, shoving her shoulder into yours as she walks.
“yeah right, he’s so infatuated with kirby i would just embarrass myself if i told him i liked him.” you state rolling your eyes. “he’d laugh in my face probably”
“he’s too sweet to do all that” your friend says stopping once you reach her car, “charlie walker is probably not the type of person to be rude about letting someone down, he’d probably say thank you and talk about a movie that’s about to come out”
she unlocks her car as you laugh at her joke, trying to ease the nerves in your stomach. you wave goodbye and turn to leave, hearing your friend shout out her window “don’t do anything i wouldn’t do”
you laugh as you walk to your car, sitting in the drivers seat and starting it before heading home.
maybe she’s right, i should just say something.
~~~
you wipe the steam off of the bathroom mirror after stepping out of the shower, skin red from the burning shower you took. you start to pat your damp skin dry before you heard a knock on your door. checking the time to see it was 2:45. fuck, he’s early.
you wrap yourself with the towel tightly before you start down the steps to answer the front door.
“hey” charlie starts, face starting to get beat red after noticing you in a towel. you notice him start to fidget with his hands.
“you’re early char” you say opening the door wider and waving him in. “you can wait in my room while i get dressed, it’s upstairs next to the bathroom”
you both start to walk up the steps and you point to the right when you get to the top. “it’s on the door on the left, get comfortable and i’ll be right there”
you hear charlie hum and grip the strap on his bag before he turns to your room. you step into the bathroom and finish getting dressed, drying your skin and putting on comfortable shorts and a crop top. you head back to your room and stand in the doorway, noticing charlie with his back to the door, looking at the pictures and vinyls hung on your walls.
“you’re not going to steal anything, are you?” you tease, sitting on the middle of your bed with your bag, pulling out your history books.
“of course not” charlie says, “just looking at all your stuff”
he takes a seat across from you, where he had preset his books and notes from class. you grab your phone and turn on some music, asking if the choice was okay and a hum of approval in response.
“so, where should we start?” you ask.
~~~
you guys worked on your project for about an hour before you heard your stomach growl. you drop your pencil and look up at charlie who was scribbling away. “are you hungry, char?” you ask
he hummed no at your question and you started to get anxious at his lack of response, he normally would talk your ear off about anything and everything. “is everything okay?”
“yeah, why wouldn’t it be?”
“you’re just really quiet today, i wanted to make sure everything is alright with you.”
“i just want to finish this project so i’ll get out of your hair, i know that you don’t really want me around”
his response caught you very off guard. you furrowed your eyebrows in confusion, shaking your head back and forth softly. “what are you talking about?”
he shrugged his shoulders, not looking up from his lap.
“char, look at me” he looked up at you, trying hard to keep eye contact. “why would you think that?”
“you said earlier you wanted to get the project over with so you could make other plans this weekend.”
you noticed him look back towards his lap and you were confused on what he was talking about
“i figured since you don’t like me, you wanted to get rid of me quicker”
your eyes softened, realizing you didn’t phrase your comment from earlier properly. you immediately felt bad, you never wanted him to think that you didn’t like him. you liked charlie, quite a bit actually. he was very smart, charismatic, and oh so sweet; you couldn’t believe he thought you hated him.
you scooted closer to him, setting his hand on his knee. he looked up towards you with a nervous expression.
“i don’t hate you, i’m so sorry that i made you think i did. i was just upset earlier that we were given a weekend project the same week my parents were out of town” you gave his leg a little squeeze
“oh” he replied, holding eye contact with you. “now i feel stupid”
“don’t feel stupid, it was all my fault. i’ll hang out with you all weekend just to prove to you i like you.” you paused, wanting to say something more. you took your hand off his knee and put it in your lap, looking at the ground, you took in a deep breath.
“actually char,” you start to trail off, feeling the nerves all the way down to your toes. “i really like you”
“what?” you felt the bed move, charlie shifting in his seat
“i don’t expect you to feel the same, i know you have a crush on kirby, robbie told me a while ago, i just felt like i needed to tell you before i lost the courage to”
charlie didn’t say anything, he felt so dumbfounded by your sudden release. he didn’t know what to say, he liked you to, he just never knew how to express it. he liked how kind you were to everyone and how you always loved to listen about everything he has to say.
you got up from your seat quick, anxiety crashing at his silence. “i’m so sorry, just forget i said anything. i’m going to grab a water” you state, heading towards the door
“wait” you heard him get up from the bed and head towards you, “do you mean it?”
you make eye contact, “of course i mean it, i wouldn’t say it if it wasn’t true char”
he stood directly in front of you, “i like you too”
neither of you said anything after that, all that could be heard was both of your breaths and the quiet sound of radiohead coming from your phone. he looked between your eyes and your lips.
“do you want to kiss me charlie?”
“yes” he says softly
you felt his lips on yours, pecking slightly. he was so nervous, you knew you had to lead
“do you want to make out with me?”
“please” he nodded quick, looking back to your lips.
you lean forward to kiss him, hands moving up to the back of his neck. you could feel his hands on your hips, barely making contact. you slightly pull away, catching your breath.
“please touch me char”
you felt him grab your waist, pulling you back to his lips. you rake your fingers through his hair, pulling at the root slightly. he whimpered at the feeling, gripping your sides harder.
you started to walk the both of you slowly toward the bed, not breaking away from the kiss. you settled into his lap, feeling his hands glued in place.
“you can touch me anywhere” you say breathless, pulling away
“i’ve never done this before” he admits shamefully
“we can do whatever you feel comfortable with.” you reply, playing with his hair.
you felt one of charlie’s hands leave your hip, slowly heading towards your chest. he let out a breath when he felt you weren’t wearing a bra. he was gentle with his touch, as though he was scared to break you. your hand found his and pressed harder, encouraging his movements.
he started to kneed his hands, rubbing his thumb back and forth over your nipple. you let out a soft moan, pushing your lips back to his. you started to grind your hips back and forth, earning a breathy sound from his mouth. he opened his eyes to look up at you and you took the opportunity to bite the bottom of his lip, moving immediately to his neck, rubbing his cock with your hands.
“is this okay baby?”
“fuck- yes please”
you start biting and kissing the skin below his ear, moving your hands to start unbuttoning his shirt. he shrugs it off his shoulders and you start to make your way down to kneel on the floor, kissing and sucking his skin on your way. you look up at him as you fumble with his zipper, batting your eyelashes at him. he sits up slowly to help pull his pants down, taking his underwear with him. he sets his hands on either side of his legs, slightly gripping the sheets with nerves.
you take his dick in your hands, shocked at the size, before spitting on it. you rub your hands up and down earning a moan from charlie.
“fuck- please i-” he trailed off when you kissed the head, tasting salt on your lips.
“please what baby?” still stroking his cock
“i need more, i want more please”
you lick a long strip from his balls to the tip before putting him in your mouth. slowing going up and down using your hands to help with what you can’t fit. you grab charlie’s hand, moving it from his side to the top of your head. he laces his fingers in your hair, slightly pushing and pulling with your movements.
“i think i’m going to cum”
you pull off, stroking him quick with your hands, “are you going to cum in my mouth char? be a good boy and cum in my mouth for me”
he nodded, eyes shut tight as his head leaned back. “say it charlie, tell me”
he opened his eyes, locked with yours. wiping a tear from your face, so fucking pretty.
“i’m gonna cum for you like a good boy fuck-”
you went right back to work, taking him deeper and blinking the tears from your eyes. you wanted to see charlie cum so bad, you felt your hands move down inside your shorts. rubbing your clit over your panties.
“fuck, i’m cumming, please let me cum. wanna be good for you”
you moaned around his dick and felt charlie grip your hair harder. his dick started to twitch and you felt your mouth get hot, cum filling your throat and mouth. you pulled off slowly, swallowing as you went, keeping your mouth open to pump the rest of his cum on your tounge.
charlie was a rambling, moaning mess. whispering how good it felt and how good you were. he saw you give his dick one last kiss and come back up to meet him face to face.
“thank you”
you gave him a quick kiss, giggling. “you don’t have to say thank you”
he wanted to say it a hundred times over, he couldn’t believe that he just got head for the first time. “can i…” he trailed off
“can you do what char?” you sounded so innocent, like you didn’t just finish choking and gagging on his dick.
“can i do you now?”
you got close to him, kissing up his neck. “you want to eat me out baby?”
“yes, please. please let me make you feel good”
you nodded and stood up from your seat next to him, pushing your notes to the bottom half of the bed. you slipped your top off and pushed your pants down your legs, getting comfortable by your pillows. “come here char”
charlie was quick to move above you, taking your lips to his, touching anywhere his hands could move.
“i might need some help” he sighs sheepishly.
“start by moving all the way down” you say as you give him a quick kiss for encouragement. “do whatever you think is right, i’ll tell you if i don’t like it”
he nodded and moved to your neck, kissing and licking, keeping his hands roaming. you felt him reach your nipples, his hot breath close before sticking his touch out to lick one. he saw your lips open to let out a quiet gasp of air and started to suck, earning a moan in response. he moved his hand, pinching and pulling at the left while he kept his mouth at the right, then switching.
“just like that pretty boy” you said as you move your hand to play with his hair.
he was blushing at the pet name, feeling his cock getting hard against your hip. he started to move down, kissing anywhere and everywhere he could, scared you’ll change your mind. he makes it past your stomach and to your thighs, gently pulling them apart.
he lets out a subtle groan, “so pretty” he mumbles. “can i touch you?” he says rubbing his hands up and down your thighs.
“of course” you sigh, anxiously waiting for his touch
he slowly brings his hands to your pussy, collecting your wetness on his fingers and spreading it around. he finds your clit and starts to rub in small, slow circles, watching you raise your hips slightly.
“right there baby” you say closing your eyes.
he brings his mouth to your pussy, licking a long strip from your hole to your clit. “you taste so good” he says lowly, almost to himself. he continues to play with your clit and eat you out. trying different rhythms and motions based on your movements and sounds.
“char, please put a finger in. i’m so close”
charlie is quick to push in and up, finding that sweet spot. you grab his hair, pulling at the root.
“fuck yes, right there”
he can’t help it, all the mumbling and moaning makes him start to grind into the bed, intoxicated by you. he can feel his cock, hard and throbbing against your silk green sheats.
he slowly slides in a second finger, curling them upwards, taking your clit between his lips and sucking softly.
“i’m gonna cum” you felt your body start to feel fuzzy, stomach pulling at the feeling. “fuck charlie, i’m cumming”
you felt yourself tighten against his fingers, grinding down on his tongue, which was eager to lap up your release. you heard him whimper, seeing his hips stutter against the bed.
he pulls his head up from your pussy, making sure to not look at you in the face. “i’m so sorry”
you look at him confused, leaning forward to see the wet spot on your sheets. you smirk at him, grabbing his hand and licking your juices off his fingers.
“don’t be sorry, this was amazing,” you lean forward to kiss him “and knowing you came from eating me out is kinda hot”
you giggle as you lean back, still catching your breath. charlie moves beside you softly rubbing your hand. “so what do we do now?”
you look up at him, “well” you start lacing your fingers with his “for now, we lay here until we fall asleep. then tomorrow morning we’ll wake up and shower and maybe finish where we left off”
charlie grins from ear to ear, “oh yeah?”
“i mean, if that’s alright with you” you mumble
“being with you is alright for me” he says, kissing your forehead.

Hi everyone! This is the last x-mas fic I can push out before my time away over the holiday period interstate. I hope you enjoy reading for our boy Zoro. Thank you @sordidmusings for keeping me motivated! Merry Christmas, Anon! Just in case it peaks your interest @gingernut1314

Warnings: Fluff, Christmas, talks of battle scars, kissing, dancing
Just like all of the times you had ventured to Baratie, this time had every intention of being no more than passing time with delicious food. The floating restaurant atop a mighty ship was your favorite stop-off on your way home to Lougetown to visit with your extended family; the food’s glowing reputation almost did justice to the divine quality and the accompanying drinks were what dreams were made of. The fact that the staff was comprised of reformed pirates also held an appeal, considering your ties to that lifestyle as a skilled archer.
Bidding farewell to the vessel you had bartered onto for voyage, you heard a strange amount of merriment floating melodically from the wide fish-mouth at the bar lounge of the grand restaurant. You furrowed your brows, arching one up as curiosity held you captivated by the songs seeping to the surface with a wide array of demonstrated skill. Some vocals were sung blissfully, others shouted with no skill depicted within their throats.
Taking deliberate steps with your bow in hand, quiver strapped firmly against your waistbelt and traveling satchel thrown over your shoulder, you sauntered to the grand doors and lobby of the restaurant to meet the matradee. He welcomed you with a broad smile, which rose to sit comfortably and warmly, peaking at the apples of his cheeks. His regular white formal garb was replaced with a deep emerald green dinner jacket, a small bushel of pointed leaves with red shimmery berries strung together by twine.
“Welcome back to Baratie!” He exclaimed with glee, “I have your usual table awaiting you.” He gestured a guiding hand to the right and indicated for you to follow his direction to the bottom of the twirled staircase.
Your confusion seemed to set in further as you took in your surroundings. The usual bare bars of the railing were ornately decorated with vines of sharpened, needle-like sprigs and small warm lights shining amongst the shrubbery akin to starlight. Your gaze was drawn upwards, noticing a small and sporadic assortment of floral clusters clinging to the roof and down the pillars of the supporting canopy. The bunches were of pale sage green, floating romantically down and arching their spindles out to grasp the pearled white flowers amongst the greenery.
As your gaze fell to rest upon the circular room, you noticed individuals joining against each other in embraces of romantic twirling and swaying. Their voices would raise to join with the tune regardless of how skilled they were to carry the tune, prompting you to raise an apprehensive smile to your lips.
“What is going on, sir?” you asked the fishman matradee as he chaperoned you to your regular table, “this all seems rather strange and unusual for a Monday afternoon, don’t you think?” Your tone of playful jest prompted him to chuckle in response, pulling out your chair for you to sit within your corner booth. Wordlessly, he took your bow and satchel while you unstrapped your quiver to disarm yourself to place your valuable items to be placed in the cloakroom.
“One of our kitchen-hands has returned to us, settling his dining debt from his time with us,” the matradee informed you, a playful twinkle drawn up to his eye, “and in celebration, we’re attempting to showcase a custom he had picked up on his travels.”
You hummed in response with a polite nod, brows raising with interest as you pulled your gaze over to view the diners amongst the crowd. Noticing jovial laughter and an uproar of cheers, you pulled your gaze to seek out its source. A young man with a straw hat atop dark loose curls immediately captured your attention, his eyes upturned and jaw hanging wide as he allowed another heartily laugh escape from his chest. His arms were hooked around the necks of two of his companions, drawing them in closer to his chest; a woman with short orange hair clutched within his right arm, while a bandana-clad man with a similar cheery expression lay gathered within his left.
Scanning over the remainder of the party members surrounding him, your eyes first drew to examine the tall, blonde companion. His hair skewed the view of his left eye, but what you could make of his right; he was a delight to look at. After holding your eyes against the blonde for longer than you truly thought appropriate, your eyes met with the final stranger of the party. His dark hazelnut orbs immediately locked on your probing gaze, bearing a protective intensity, his moss-coloured locks raised without much care as to which direction the strands fell.
As his eyes continued to hold your attention, you stared him down to reciprocate his wordless challenge. His brows furrowed briefly before a wolf-like grin rose to his lips, smirking up to the right-hand side of his face with an air of arrogance. Training as a skilled archer had drilled the practice of continual focus on a multitude of targets. This small challenge set your heart alight with a similar thrill to hunting a foe, the green-haired man not shying away from your attention and focus.
He was captivating. His air of protection and loyalty to his companions transferred without question of translation. You watched as he drew his dominant hand to fall to rest against a white blade hilt at his side, his wrist hanging limply against the handle atop the scabbard. He arched his left brow up at you and gestured with his chin, indicating to you that he would not shy away from a fight if one was to be offered to him. You arched up your brow with your own smirk, gesturing lightly with your hands over your torso and falling down to your waist; indicating you were currently unarmed.
Without breaking your gaze from his challenge, you reached your hand below the white tablecloth, shielding your hand from retrieving an item from your handbag beside you. You let out an audible laugh as you watched him fix his posture more upright, his smirk falling from his lips as his frown deepened in partial alarm. After feeling the hard object you were searching for, you raised it to no longer be obscured from view and rotated it within your hands to demonstrate how non-threatening the item was.
His face immediately dropped at his idiocy as his eyes took in the novel you were holding within your hands, closing his eyes and having a small smile rise to his lips. As soon as his eyes closed and soft chuckle fell from his lips, you relished in the knowledge that he was the first to back away from the intense wordless challenge he initiated with his eyes, indicating that you had won the small victory.
While his eyes were closed, you fully examined his face. Eyes first shamelessly raking over his hair, trailing down and over his closed eyes and settling on his parted lips. His coy smile now completely risen against his lips held a foreign beauty, the creases of his cheeks indicating such softness was not a common occurrence. He was intriguing, someone you would have considered pursuing should you have had more time between your usual meal at Baratie and the upcoming ferry you had booked to shepherd the remainder of your journey.
You shook your head, uncaring whether he would meet his intense gaze against yours again as you opened the pages of the novel you had begun reading on your journey out to sea, picking up where you last left off. The words whittled within the pages were of a variety of archery techniques and forms, a gift bestowed upon you by your favorite uncle - the one you held the most joy in rejoining with in Lougetown.
A gentle cough interrupts the passage you were skimming, drawing your attention up to the waiter beside you. He placed down in front of you a seasonal beverage, the steam rising from the rim wafting towards your nose to envelop your senses with its rich, velvety and creamy scent. You thanked the waiter as he placed an accompanying biscotti beside the treat, the crumbled texture littering the small side dish with pebbles of its buttery substance.
Reaching towards the handle, you raised the drink to your face, gently parting your lips and circling them to blow on the scorching liquid. After relinquishing your gentle blows to your particular satisfaction, you drew up the mug and took a quick sip of the contents. Immediately flooded by the indulgent flavor of the caramelized chocolate mixing with the creamy and decadent texture of the frothed milk. You sighed, breathing out your pleasure at being once again welcomed by the perfect combination of flavors offered to you at Baratie. Placing down again onto the circular, ceramic dish, you lifted your novel to continue reading from the last page you left of; blissfully ignorant or willfully ignoring the intense pair of eyes continuing to hold firm their locked gaze upon you.
“Something the matter, Zoro?” the Straw-Hat captain asked from beside the swordsman, clutching the bone of a perfectly prepared tomahawk steak within his right hand while chewing on the sinew, “you’ve been staring at that table for a long time now.” The swordsman remained quiet, not truly hearing the words spoken to him.
“”M’fine, Captain,” He mumbled. It was true, he had become entranced by the person he was currently inspecting. His bewitchment had only intensified as he witnessed your knowing and examining gaze falling to seek out the loud and joyous laughter falling in the air of the surroundings. You had to be a hunter, by the looks of you: whether it be seeking bounties, hunting animals or contesting mark-matching with the bow you allowed the fishman to leave with.
“You sure there, Moss-Head?” Sanji taunted him, his signature smirk ruffling the temperament of the swordsman further, “you seem awfully focussed on the-... -Oh. Oh, they’re quite pretty, aren’t they?” Zoro snapped his gaze up to focus on the chef whose head was now shamelessly pointed directly at you, eyes searching your body and examining him the way Zoro was trying hard not to.
“What of it, waiter?” he growled in a disinterested snarl. Sanji slowly dragged his gaze from your body over to face the swordsman once more, eyes darkening with a challenging intensity.
“I think they’re very pretty, indeed,” Sanji’s exposed brow twitched in an upturned flirtatious suggestion. Usopp smirked, leaning in on his elbows to get a better view of the show Sanji was absolutely going to engage against the swordsman while Nami shook her head. Rolling her eyes, she sat back to rest her shoulders against the plush booth, tilting her head down to shield her smirk to remain hidden in her expression of amusement at their rivalry.
“I think they’re so pretty, in fact,” Sanji snuck another glance at you, watching as you pursed your lips while turning another page of your novel, “I think I’m going to ask them to dance the next round.”
“What’d you say, waiter?” Zoro tilted his head, attempting to hold his composure and feign disinterest at the challenge. The subtle gruff anchor of his voice gave him away, Zoro winced at his own vocal tone. Sanji chuckled at the failed attempt, choosing to draw his elbows against the table and cradle his chin to rest atop his laced fingertips.
“It’s not like you’re man enough to ask her to dance, anyway,” Sanji’s smirk rose into a broader grin, relishing in Zoro’s physical reaction of sharpening his posture to rise against the jab. The blonde chef chuckled darkly, drawing his lips to press against his fingertips before suggesting with another jab: “Someone like that looks like they’d prefer to be held in the arms of a real man, not something like you, Demon.”
“I’ll let the two of you know when I see one,” the orange-haired navigator murmured in a low tone, her voice immediately capturing the attention of the two bickering crewmates. Usopp feigned pain, clutching at his heart briefly before nodding in confirmation of her comments: both flinging their heads back in unbridled laughter at the motion. Luffy continued to remain blissfully ignorant, finally sucking at the large bone to rid the object from all edible elements of the dish while offering a small laugh of his own. Although he truly had no idea why they were laughing at that moment, he was happy his crew was getting along - to the best of his knowledge, anyway.
That was the occasion after all: merriment and joyfulness being the central point of the entire reason for this celebration. Sanji and Zoro turned back to face each other again, eyes bearing an electric intensity as they met their rival’s challenge.
“No,” Zoro gruffly growled, his lips curling in a small snarl. Sanji arched his head to stretch out his neck, eyes closing as he felt a gentle ‘pop’ and sighing in reaction.
“You gonna actually approach them and ask them to dance?” Sanji lazily taunted him, his smirk returning, “or am I going to get there first?”
At that final nudge, Zoro was away from the table and almost stomping his heavy boots against the polished floorboards like a chastised toddler. Sanji chuckled at the response, reaching forward to claim a portion of the confit potatoes to place on his plate.
“I gotta know, man,” Usopp leant in towards Sanji, his broad smile rising to his cheeks, “were you that interested in them, or just wanted to get a rise from Zoro? I can never tell with you.”
“That’s my secret, Great Captain Usopp,” Sanji’s left corner of his lip curled up in a smirk with a playful glimmer in his eye returning, “I’m always interested in getting a rise out of him. Beautiful strangers are always a bonus. My favorite is when those two things are not mutually exclusive,” he chuckled, collecting an assortment of ingredients on his fork and raising the utensil up to his lips, “two birds with one stone, and all that.”
The thud of heavy boots alerted you to a figure closing the distance between themselves and your body. The thumps of the hard boots against the polished floor reverberated with a sense of danger. Patiently, with a sigh exiting your parted lips, you placed a small piece of parchment back into your novel to tab the chapter and slowly turned to look at the approaching figure.
“Can I help you?” you asked, a bored tone with a subtle air of cautious warning befalling your cadence. As you drew your eyes up, you noticed the same intense gaze from earlier falling to meet your sat position on the table. His eyebrow seemed to twitch, indicating slight agitation as his jaw was clenched tightly shut. Cocking your head to the side, you allowed a partial softness to grace your features as you danced your eyes between focussing on each of his hazelnut orbs.
“I-, uh-,” the man was stumbling over his words, unable to string a sentence of cohesion together. He raised his hand to the scruff of his neck, pinching the flesh with his calloused hands and grimacing at his expression.
“You?” you cooed up at him, a smirk rising once more to your lips. You shook your head, hair dancing at the small sway of movement. Your attention was once again captivated by him; the arrogant energy you had initially met your gaze with was dismantled under his apprehensive aura.
Zoro had every intention of proving how much of a ‘real man’ he was to his crew, although not so much of a display in masculinity; but more of a need to not allow Sanji the pleasure or satisfaction of flirting with someone so enchanting as you. He was going to simply offer his hand to you, smirk in a gesture to ask you to join him on the dance floor and parade you in front of his crew. But alas, as soon as his eyes met with yours once again; he felt helpless and small under your huntress eyes.
“Well, are you going to stand there all rigid, swordsman?” you taunted, reclining in your seat and resting your elbow atop the backrest, “Or are you going to take a seat?”
Again, Zoro found himself taken aback by your direct approach. He followed your index and middle finger as you gestured to the empty seat in front of you. He shook his head a little to rid him of his prior bewilderment and then apprehensively moved to withdraw the chair to take a seat. You took him in, watching his deliberate movements in the way he sat atop the chair: every action intentional. As he sat, he offered no conversation other than broody silence. His eyes would flitter over to check-in on his prior dining companions and grimacing as his gaze was met with taunting gestures from his crew.
“Friends of yours?” you asked him, brow arched and reaching for the handle of your mug.
“Something like that,” he uttered in a gruff tone, arms folding abrasively over his chest. You chuckled at his tone, taking a small sip from your mug and eyeing him deliberately.
“Care to share further, or would you prefer having another wordless exchange?” you placed the empty cup back down on the dish and offered another challenging smile. He snapped his eyes back to yours and his smirk rose again to his lips.
“They’re my crew,” his rumbly chuckle was withheld in his chest beneath his smirk, “I like half of them, but respect the lot of them.”
You hummed in response, index finger dancing atop the rim of your relinquished mug of hot chocolate. “Would you like to tell me more? I’m all ears about the ones you like and the ones you’re less fond of.”
Over the course of the next few hours, the swordsman and you would swap tales of travels throughout the East Blue and the Grand Line. Foes bested, beasts conquered and sorrows overcome: the tales of injuries you had both granted to opponents and received at the hands of them. He leant back against the back of his chair and slowly unbuttoned his shirt and hooked his fingers within the collar and hemline of his shirt to draw it back to showcase proudly to you. You felt your breath hitching in your throat at not only the physique of the swordsman, but in awe at the large healed mark slashed across his torso. You felt utterly ill-seasoned with your smaller indents of arrows and thrown dagger marks littering your shoulders. As you hooked your middle finger in your left shoulder strap and coyly revealed the small silver, healed markings, Zoro was held captivated by the marks to showcase your tales of battle.
Enamored, awestruck and enchanted; you both held a small lilt of encaptured silence, leaning in on your forearms against the white tablecloth and gazing into the eyes of one another. Respecting your mutual combatant skill, both you and Zoro’s eyes fell half-lidded in adoration as you held each other’s undivided attention.
The music and merriment fell into a slow tune, reflective of the seasonal tradition Baratie was attempting to celebrate with succession. Zoro was the first to break the silence between you, placing his left hand on the table with his palm up.
“Would you wanna dance?” he asked, his drawl gruff but attempting to remain polite in his request. You smiled, reaching your right hand to fall within his own, his hand immediately circling around your fingers firmly. His thumb circled over your four fingers, caressing his calloused and experienced hands over your skin.
“You don’t seem like much of a dancer, Zoro,” you commented, both rising to your feet. He drew you in close. Keeping his left hand extended upwards, and raking his right over the mid of your back to draw your torso flush with his, he uttered: “I’m not, but it seemed appropriate. Considering the holiday, and all.”
“Ah, yes. We never did quite get to discussing what all this,” you gestured with your chin, smiling at the decorations surrounding the room, “was all about.”
“I’m not really sure on the minor details,” he shrugged, awkwardly swaying you to the music, “Cap’n just said something about different traditions needing to be incorporated. Something about food, music, dancing, and decoration-...-oh. Oh, no-.”
You furrowed your brows, looking up at the roof to follow after his risen gaze. A small sprig of white, pearled flowers hung over your heads, accompanied by sage-coloured oblong leaves wrapped in ribbons of satin and twine. You cocked your head, left brow raising in curiosity at the flowers and their significance. Drawing your gaze back to the swordsman in front of you, you noticed he was stooping himself all the more closer to you.
“What are you doing, swordsman?” you questioned, halting him in his descention towards you.
“This is one of those traditions,” he said, unlacing your right hand from his left and wordlessly asking with his eyes for permission to cradle your cheek within his palm. You looked at the hand first, then drew your eyes back up to meet his intense gaze. Smiling, you placed your cheek into his awaiting palm while holding his gaze firmly against your own.
“Touching a stranger’s face beneath strange flowers is a strange tradition,” you furrowed your brows at him once more in curiosity.
“Kissing them beneath strange flowers,” he corrected you, leaning to join his lips immediately against your own. A small squeak fled from your lips, eyes widening as you felt the intensity falling from his chapped lips onto your own.
This was not how you pictured your return to Baratie to go at all. Sure, you had dreamed of meeting a handsome stranger and sharing an embrace with them. The stars just never aligned for you in any way that drew you close enough to share a kiss with them, only ever moments of story swapping or sharing a meal or two with many travelers accompanying you.
You allowed yourself to become relaxed into the embrace, reaching your hands up to circle his neck below the assortment of flowers. His brows furrowed in concentration as he inhaled sharply through his nose in reaction to your reciprocation. You smiled, closing your eyes and tickling the scruff of his neck beneath your fingertips; lacing his untamed sea-sprayed locks within them. He expertly opened your mouth to taste more of your lips by angling his chin upwards against your own. A small groan rumbled within his chest, passing from his mouth to fall against your own as he continued to cradle you against himself.
Reluctantly, you pulled away from his embrace with your eyes remaining closed. You felt a small pause falling with his next actions, before you felt a warm forehead press against your own. You reopened your eyes, your half-lidded and lazy smile mirrored against the face of the swordsman you just shared a kiss with.
Interrupting your embrace, an announcement was called over the speakers. The crackle of cables and wires sprung to life within the metal relay, alerting you with a vocal command: “The next vessel to Lougetown has arrived. All those traveling to Lougetown, report to the peer with your documents. Next vessel to Lougetown will depart in twenty minutes.”
“That’s me, unfortunately,” you sighed, eyes remaining closed but lips drawn up in a wide smile.
“Business in Lougetown?” Zoro’s whisper rumbled within his chest.
“Something like that,” you withdrew your forehead from its place resting against his own, “much akin to your crew, although I’m held attached by biological relation.”
“Anyone I’d know?” Zoro smirked, eyes remaining partly glazed over enamored by your small daliance.
“I never ‘name drop’, swordsman,” you cooed up at him while unlacing your arms from his embrace, “but if you’re in the general area,” you retrieved your belongings from your table and laced your handbag and novel over your shoulder, “I’ll be at the G-5 Marine Base with my uncle for the next month for training.”
“I’ll look forward to it,” he smirked, eyes upturning to indicate his joy at the thought of meeting with you once again.

William has taken possession of OC's vibrator. It is obvious that she wants it back for obvious reasons. She's horny and mad at William but not enough to be able to resist wanting to take him right now. William knows this, and he is taking advantage of the situation. During All-Star, they made a bet on who could last the longest without sex and the winner gets to choose what they want to do. After all, both of them are competitive and test each others' buttons like trying for their partners to get multiple orgasms and experimenting with new positions. William's teammates notice how pussy depressed he is and tease the hell out of him after his locker room adventure. We gotta love a good powerplay for dominance and edging Kink and getting him all wet. #SlutsforPresidentNylander
Oh, bb! I absolutely loved your idea 🤍 Just imagining Willy being so confident and devilish, oh my, 🙈
Honestly, I had so much fun writing this! While it may not be the best chapter written, it was definitely one of the most enjoyable to write 😍 Also, a big shoutout to the request that sparked it all 🙌🏼 💦
And no, there's still no 34 x 88 sexual action - however, it might not be completely off the table yet, so stay tuned if you're interested - I've got something up my sleeve…
But without further ado, I hope you enjoy it 🤍
Warnings: 18+ smut; play with toy (vibrator), edging, masturbating, voyeurism, more play with toy, penetrative sex (p in v), use of safe word, public fingering, oral sex (m and f receiving), handcuffs, more penetrative sex (p in v); I think that's all 🤍

All good boys go to heaven - But bad boys bring heaven to you pt VIII I William Nylander 🖋️⚡️
Tumblr media Tumblr media
William Nylander wasn’t one to often reflect on his relationships. However, as he bid you a good day at work on Monday morning, he found himself unable to do so.
It was the start of the All-Star week, and you had gone out of your way to make time to accompany him to the event. And with it happening in Toronto this year and William being voted onto the roster by fans, both of you were overflowing with excitement. While you both would have relished a week off from the regular season, William naturally desired nothing more than to join his teammates at such an event. It marked his first participation, and to make it even better, you would be there with him.
And as he enjoyed his morning protein shake, he let his thoughts drift, contemplating the time and effort you had invested in his hectic lifestyle and career while maintaining your own.
You were the most incredible girlfriend he could ever hope for. Your relationship was unlike any he had experienced before, characterised by emotional connection, shared senses of humour, and, not to mention, incredible sex. And as this train of thought lingered his mind, it also led him to reflect on the last time he had acted out of jealousy, overly focused on his own desire for dominance. Which prompted an idea, leading him to make a purchase he believed would bring joy to both of you.
And upon your return to the condo from a long day at work, you were greeted by an overly enthusiastic boyfriend in the kitchen.
"What's with the grin, Nylander?" you chuckled, feeling a hint of nervousness as you joined him, sensing mischief afoot.
"I bought you something," he announced, wearing a rather smug expression.
"Alright… should I brace myself?" you inquired, excitement bubbling within you as you observed his demeanour.
"Oh no, trust me, you're going to love it."
Taking your hand gently, he led you to the bedroom, that same smirk still adorning his handsome face. And on the bed, you noticed a wrapped box.
"Open it," William chuckled, reclining on the bed, with his eyes fixed on you.
And naturally, you were eager to discover what mischief your playful boyfriend had concocted this time. As you settled onto the mattress, you carefully untied the ribbon, revealing the contents of the gift. Once you had removed the wrapping paper, you uncovered a rectangular box adorned with the image of what appeared to be an alien-shaped massage tool, labelled 'Magic Wand.'
You studied the box for a few more seconds before turning to face William, who still wore a satisfied smirk.
"Willy… What… is it, exactly?"
William couldn’t contain a light chuckle. "You've never used one before? Babe, it's a vibrator…"
"Oh…" you let out a soft sound of realisation. "Oh, well… I mean, no, I've never tried this kind before, only the small one I have in the drawer…"
"Yeah, I know, but this one is a little different, and I thought we could have a little fun with it," he chuckled, leaning in a little closer to you.
"Like, together?"
"Mmm," he nodded. "Curious?"
Of course, you were unable to suppress a little smirk creeping onto your lips. "Always am…"
And needless to say, it was the most intense experience you'd ever had.
After enjoying a bit of dinner to gather the energy needed – because you did need the energy – William encouraged you to lie down on your back and relax, with your legs slightly bent and spread apart for him.
Kneeling between your legs, he then leaned over your body to connect your lips in a deep and passionate kiss. Then, using his fingers to gently circle and rub your clit over the fabric of your knickers, causing you to part your lips and breathe slowly, as you enjoyed his pleasurable motions.
"Rest your hands beside your head, and let me do the work, baby," he huskily whispered in your ear. "You might need something to grab onto."
And indeed, you did.
As soon as he turned on the vibrator, even on the lowest setting, you could imagine its potential. And he hadn’t even touched you intimately with it yet. Slowly, he traced it up your inner thigh, letting your skin feel the vibrations, the tingling coursing through you as he delicately approached your heat.
You felt your core already pulsating in anticipation, but William took his time. He wanted you to relax so that you could have the best possible experience.
As he came closer to where you needed him the most, his eyes intensely connected with yours, watching as you bit down on your lower lip and squirmed under him. Then gently he let the vibrator make contact with your most sensitive spot.
"Oh, fuck!" you moaned loudly, shutting your eyes and gripping onto the pillows behind your head as the toy sent intense vibrations straight to your clit.
Satisfied with your reaction, William then pulled away the toy, slowly tracing it around your core, intentionally avoiding your clit. "This is only the lowest setting, älskling. You might have to control yourself if I turn it up," he chuckled darkly.
You did honestly try your best to remain controlled, however, as soon as he let the vibrator hit your clit again, you felt as if your body was completely out of your authority, completely surrendering to William and his game of pleasure.
"Shit, Willy!" you cried out, your mind spinning more and more every time he touched you, withdrew, and then touched you again. And all you could hear were his deep chuckles as he relished the way your eyes rolled back in your head, and your fingers and heels dug into the pillows and mattress.
"Do you want to come, baby?" William asked seductively, both knowing it was rhetorical as you had turned into a complete mess from his teasing. And while holding the vibrator steady against your clit, he could see how close you were. But then, being as wicked as he could be, he withdrew once more, causing you to let out a heavy breath. "I asked you a question, baby…"
"Yes, Willy…" you pleaded. "Please, let me come…"
And since you had been such a good girl for him, he gave you what you deserved. Holding the vibrator against your clit again and turning up the intensity a level more, he watched as you screamed out in pleasure, tears falling from your eyes as you arched your back and surrendered to the intense orgasm.
“Oh yes!” It took you several minutes to come down from the incredible high, your legs shaking and your breath completely out of control. You had to blink a few times as you opened your eyes and were met with William's content expression, enjoying the mess he had created. And he hadn't even fucked you.
"Damn, baby, that was hot…" he chuckled lightly as you smiled up at him and let your fingers play with the fine strands of hair hanging from his face.
"Really?"
"Oh yeah, but… you've probably ruined your panties," he chuckled, and you could feel just how soaked they were from your juices. It almost felt as if you'd peed yourself or been sweating during an intense workout.
"Shit," you let out a light laughter as well. "Guess that's just what you can do to me, huh…"
“I know, and I just can’t help but love pleasing you.”
William knew exactly what he was doing. And as you awoke with renewed energy, ready to take on the workday, you couldn’t help but smile. Knowing that you just had to get through two more days of work before the All-Star event, you simply enjoyed the view of your sleepy boyfriend before leaving.
And another thing you had come to enjoy was the new toy William had bought. Your core even tingled a little every time you thought about the intense of an orgasm it had given you.
It was almost too tempting to give it another go when you arrived home and found that William was still out preparing for the weekend. However, you managed to keep your composure.
"No, y/n… you can control yourself…" you mumbled softly. However, as you turned on the TV, and the sports News ran across the screen, showcasing none other than your boyfriend and the other Leafs, you could no longer contain yourself.
And as William came home a little bit later, enjoying the tranquility of your home upon an overwhelming amount of media work, he called out for you.
"Babe, I'm home."
However, there was no response from you. Walking through the living room and kitchen, only spotting the dogs curled up on the sofa, he noticed you were nowhere to be found.
But then he heard it. Soft noises emanating from the bedroom, and a smirk instantly appeared on his face, as he had a feeling of what you were up to. And as he slowly and silently made his way towards the noises, he saw just what he expected.
Gently pushing the door open, leaning against the frame, he observed you, as you used the new toy to pleasure yourself. With closed eyes, lying sprawled on the bed, legs apart in one of his t-shirts, you moved the vibrator up and down your panty-covered core, moaning as you neared climax.
William could feel his cock slowly growing firmer and harder in baggy jeans that provided enough room for it to swell. And as he noticed your hand suddenly stilling, he knew you were on the brink of an orgasm. Holding the wand against your clit, your moans grew louder, your breath erratic, and within moments, you arched your back, reaching the peak of pleasure.
He’d thought about intervening for a second, but watching you was just beyond arousing.
"Enjoying the new toy, are we?" William chuckled darkly, causing you to promptly sit up straight and open your eyes.
"Willy!" you gasped upon seeing your boyfriend standing in the doorway, a giant grin on his face. "How long have you been standing there?"
"Just made it to the finale, baby," he laughed as he approached, sitting on the bed and leaning in to kiss you. "Pretty hot welcome home."
"Yeah?" you asked, a hint of nervousness in your voice.
"Definitely. It really turned me on," he smirked, glancing down at your soaked panties. And you couldn't help but bite your lip when you noticed his hard cock, proudly standing through his loose clothes.
"Well, how about you also get to finish this time?" you suggested seductively, running your fingers through his beard.
"Oh, I have just the idea," William grinned, and before you knew it, he swung you over his shoulder and carried you to the bathroom.
Setting you in front of the counter, facing the mirror, he swiftly removed your t-shirt and thong, placing the wand on the counter before unbuckling his jeans and pulling them down along with his boxers. "I believe there's no need for preparation, huh?" he remarked rhetorically with a grin, pulling his t-shirt over his head, and positioning himself at your entrance.
You gently shook your head as you instinctively leaned onto the bathroom counter, looking at William through the mirror, before he pushed himself inside you. It was almost embarrassing how effortlessly he slid in; how wet you were after climaxing with the vibrator. But you couldn’t care less.
He felt so good as he moved inside you, his hands firmly gripping your hips to steady you as he thrusted a little harder. You couldn’t help but watch him intently through the mirror, your eyes locking as he pounded inside you, the sounds of your wetness mixing with the slapping of skin filling the air.
It was surprisingly arousing; the way William stared you down intensely as he increased his thrusts, causing you to release louder moans and deep breaths. And despite having reached an intense climax just minutes ago, you could already feel another orgasm building as he stimulated your walls.
"Oh, Willy..." you moaned.
"Yeah, you gonna come, baby?" he asked between deep breaths, watching you as your eyes squinted in pleasure and feeling your walls tighten around him.
"Yes..." you managed to reply, as you felt the intensity each time his length hit your sensitive spot.
Yet William wasn't entirely satisfied. Instead, he reached for the wand, turned it on, and placed it on your core, while his other hand gripped the counter and he moaned loudly. "Shit, I can feel it through you."
But you couldn't respond. The intense vibrations overwhelmed you, and you could only scream in pleasure. Your legs shook, as you once more reached climax, bending your head forward and clenching every muscle in your body.
"Fu—" William moaned deeply as he continued fucking you hard through your orgasm. "You're dripping, baby..."
And you could almost feel how your juices were running down your leg as you came again and again. Yet despite being in a euphoric state, you managed to speak between your cries. "Yell... Willy... Yellow."
William understood immediately. Moving the vibrator away, he heard you sigh in relief as you lifted your head, and your swollen eyes slowly opened to meet his once more.
"Baby, I'm so close," he moaned as he continued rocking his hips, slightly slower. And with your gaze locked in the mirror, you nodded, encouraging him to keep going. Though you were nothing but wrecked, you still wanted him to finish as well.
And with a few more thrusts, he let out a loud moan and released himself into you.
It had been another session of messy and intense sex, as the new toy had sent your mind into oblivion, and William had fucked you through every orgasm. Yet as you slowly untangling from the position, William naturally made sure to take good care of you.
Turning on the warm water, he gently guided you to join him under the water, where he delicately rinsed your body from sweat and cum. Sharing light kisses as you too caressed his toned torso, before you both exited with smiles on your lips.
"What's so funny?" you asked, as William chuckled between bites, sitting across from him at the dining table, both dressed comfortably post-sex.
"Oh, I just find it funny how I can't even give you a toy and leave you alone for a few hours," he flashed you an amused smirk, causing you to playfully roll your eyes.
"Well, I'm sorry I was just horny," you defended.
"You could've waited a little, and I would have been home," he chuckled again.
"I didn't know that... besides, you were the one who introduced me to it," you teasingly pointed out.
"Oh, that's right, it's all my fault," William said with heavy sarcasm. "Or maybe, you just couldn't control yourself."
"I CAN control myself... you're the one who can't even go a few days without sex," you retorted.
"Like you could do that!"
"I used to go for weeks without sex, remember," you chuckled, reminiscing about the time before the two of you started sleeping together.
"Alright then," William offered a content smirk, leaning back in his chair with crossed arms. "Prove it! No sex for a week, or until one gives up."
You were surprised by his challenge. Usually, the two of you would play games of who could get the other to climax and how many times. And now he wanted to avoid sex?
"Are you serious... no sex for a week?" you raised an eyebrow, and William simply nodded.
"Yup, the first one to give in loses..."
"And the winner?"
"Gets to decide what we do next... whatever they want."
You pondered his challenge for a brief moment, yet you knew you couldn’t refuse. That would only prove him right already, and you didn’t want to do that.
"Alright, you’re on, Nylander. May the best woman win."
"Oh, that’s cocky," he laughed.
"Well, I need to be in order to be with you."
**
Initially, you found the idea fun.
You had gone without sex for extended periods before—especially after your breakup with your ex. And then, there were those two disappointing one-night stands that made you realise that no sex was probably better than bad sex.
However, you did have one little helper to get through at the time. And that helper could also be the best way to beat William at his own game.
So, on the following evening, when William again had to be away for a few more hours before the big event, you felt a little naughty and wanted to relax. However, to your surprise, William had taken your vibrators. Both of them.
"That motherfu-," you mumbled as you’d searched everywhere and eventually had to admit that you had no way of cheating.
"You hid them, didn't you?"
You texted William out of slight frustration, and you could almost hear him chuckle from across the city.
"Of course I did! No cheating, babe 😂"
"You're the one who said 'no sex'... 😉"
"No sex. No touching yourself 😉 Let's see how long you'll last without your favourite toys."
"Oh, I don’t need them!"
"We'll see, darling, we'll see 😂"
You had to admit, it was somewhat of a turn-on not being able to be intimate with each other. And you had every intention of breaking William.
But he had plans for you too.
When Thursday arrived, he meticulously planned what he’d wear, when he’d relish the spotlight while you watched from the sidelines.
However, as he looked in the mirror, putting the finishing touches before leaving, he caught your smirk as you leaned against the doorframe.
"What’s so funny?" he asked.
"Oh, I just realised that maybe this challenge won’t be that difficult after all…" you chuckled.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, let’s just say I prefer you with a beard, darling," you teased, giving him a playful wink before returning to the closet to pick out your outfit for the evening. You settled on a casual skirt with tights, a blouse, and boots. Perhaps not the sexiest outfit, but you believed in playing your cards strategically, saving the best for closer to the finish line.
Though William was a bit disappointed by your reaction to his shaved beard, he knew he looked fantastic in his chosen outfit: an oversized beige blazer and baggy trousers, paired with a white tank top that highlighted his muscular torso, something he knew you appreciated.
And he was right. As he confidently walked the carpet, you couldn’t help but smile while watching him. The way he effortlessly mingled with the crowd, signing autographs and taking selfies, was impressive. You almost hated him for it, especially how he flaunted his new haircut and outfit, allowing his chest hair to peek out through the neckline, accentuating the chain he wore. Another detail you always admired.
Shaking your head, you let him enjoy his moment. He had set the bar high, and now you needed to step up your game if you wanted to win. And despite your internal competition, the night turned out to be perfect as Auston and Mo drafted Willy and Mitch for their blue team.
As Friday dawned, and William was already at the rink, busy with various media activities and a bit of training before hitting the ice for the Skills competition, you decided on a different outfit this time.
While you knew you’d be wearing the 88 All-Star jersey all day, you also anticipated that it would have to come off eventually, which gave you an idea. Why not give William a sneak peek of what was hidden underneath?
Standing in the locker room, changing into his hockey gear, William suddenly froze. His eyes were fixed on the lingerie mirror selfie you had sent him, seemingly unable to look away.
He knew you were teasing him, returning the playful banter from the day before. And to make matters worse, he couldn't just give in to his desires until later in the evening; he had to stay composed to maintain his focus on winning.
Furthermore, his unmistakably desirable expression didn’t escape the notice of his teammates.
"What ya staring at?" Auston began, giving William a teasing look as he leaned in close and glanced at the phone. "Holy shit, Willy! Is that y/n?" he exclaimed.
Quickly tapping the side of his phone and pocketing it, William returned to reality. "Yeah... that's her..." he admitted.
"What's with the face?" Mo chimed in with a light chuckle, having noticed William’s quick reflexes and perplexed behaviour.
"Oh, it's nothing," he tried to brush it off, but they knew him better than that.
"Come on, Willy," Mitch joined in. “You can tell us..”
And slightly amused by their curiosity, he confessed about your bet.
"Wait, what the fuck, man? Why would you make such a bet?" Auston erupted in laughter. "You're insane, you're literally pussy depriving yourself."
"I know! But when I win, which I will, I get to call the shots," he smirked. "And I'll have the ultimate rights to gloat."
"Yeah, but what if she doesn’t cave? Then you're just torturing yourself for no reason," Mo chuckled as well.
"She WILL give in!" William said confidently, yet the boys didn’t seem entirely convinced, knowing how much he enjoyed having sex, especially with you.
"Come on, Willy, we all know you can't resist her!" Mitch laughed.
"Yeah, you're obsessed with her pussy, man! Last time you couldn't even wait until you left the locker room before getting frisky. You're going to be so desperate, so why not just give in and get back to it, like you know you want to," Auston teased, wiggling his eyebrows with a smug grin.
And William couldn’t help but join in the laughter. "Maybe, but right now I think I want to win more."
Though it had only been two days, the mere thought of not being able to touch you felt like torture. Yet he also knew he should just focus on the Skills competition, and he’d be fine.
Unlike you, who was being challenged while enjoying the show, where William performed amazingly. The way he worked the crowd was incredibly arousing. And you could just see how much he genuinely enjoyed himself, which made it agonising knowing you couldn’t go home and celebrate with some intimate time together.
And as the day slowly came to a close, you met him by the locker room with the other girls.
"Ready to give up?" he chuckled as he embraced you, greeting you with a kiss.
"Not even close, Nylander," you grinned back at him. It was, of course, a lie, but your competitive mind had taken over for now. Even when William’s hand rested dangerously close to your core during the ride home. Or when he pressed his body against yours in the lift before reaching your floor.
So, naturally, your next move was to simply undress and casually stroll around in that pretty set of lingerie, lacy nightwear you’d chosen for the evening. Was it the most comfortable sleepwear? Perhaps not. But did it make William go completely wild, his eyes fixed on you at all times? Absolutely.
Joining him on the bed, resting on your side and facing away from him with your buttocks completely exposed, you couldn’t help but smirk.
He loved your ass, in more ways than one, and you were well aware of how he was ogling it right now, his cock likely growing evident in his boxers.
"Goodnight, babe," you said in an overly sweet tone.
But William wasn’t going to let you off that easily. Instead, he let his large palm caress your cheek, gently squeezing it before delivering a firm slap, causing you to let out a shriek as a pink hue formed on your skin.
"Goodnight, älskling," he chuckled before turning the other way and switching off the lights.
"Oh, it's so on…" you whispered to yourself, feeling the sting on your cheek as you slowly drifted off to sleep as well.
**
As your alarm rudely went off the following morning, you were greeted by a sleepy William sporting an impressive morning erection. Normally, you might have taken your time waking him up in the sexiest way possible, but with the competition still ongoing, you decided to resist the temptation.
Instead, you made your way to the kitchen and started preparing breakfast, still dressed in your sensual nightwear. And as William joined you, you both moved around each other, occasionally brushing lightly against one another with small 'oops'. Though it was amusing to see the other person mentally and sexually frustrated, you both also realised how you were torturing yourselves.
But that didn't stop either of you.
You even went as far as picking out a rather tight and short skirt to wear under the hockey jersey, paired with some of your finest knee-high boots. It was the perfect teasing hockey girlfriend outfit, something you wouldn’t normally wear as it felt a bit revealing. Which made it perfect for the day.
After styling your hair and putting on makeup, adding a bit extra for the occasion, you then made your way to the arena to watch the All-Star game on the final day of the event. And to say it was an amazing show would be an understatement. The hockey, the crowd, the overall atmosphere was beyond incredible to be a part of.
Moreover, your boyfriend and the rest of Team Matthews even managed to win.
Amidst loud cheers and clapping, you and the other girlfriends then giggly made your way to congratulate the boys by the locker room, where William's eyes swiftly found your choice of outfit, as it didn’t even look like you were wearing anything underneath the jersey.
Yet, it was Auston who was the first to throw a comment your way.
“Damn, y/n, looking beautiful and sexy as ever,” he flirtatiously remarked as he offered you a greeting hug.
“Well, of course, had to look stunning for your big night, right?” you flashed him a cheeky wink.
“I must admit, you do look incredibly stunning.”
“Well, thanks, Aus,” you smiled, perhaps a little too flirtatiously for William’s liking.
And while Auston was not so subtly trying to make eyes at you, Justin Bieber then joined the conversation, giving the team captain a friendly handshake.
“Oh, who’s this?” he nodded toward you. “New girl, Auston?”
But Auston simply chuckled. “No - she wishes though, but she’s Willy’s girl.”
Everyone turned to look at William, Bieber giving him the wiggly eyes as well, but your boyfriend didn’t seem to be all that amused. Though his facial expression seemed calm, you had a hunch something was boiling under the surface. And hopefully, it was your outfit that had worked just according to plan.
But there was also something else on William’s mind. Though he loved that they all admired how great you looked, he wasn’t so sure how to feel about your little flirty act around his teammates and how some of the other lads around also tossed a compliment your way.
They knew you were his, which was the most important thing, yet a part of him also wanted to remind you that you were taken - which meant, not allowed to be flaunting your sexy body like that, speaking in your sweet voice, and smiling with your sparkling eyes he knew you did when you flirted.
He knew he was on the verge of breaking. Ready to give up, take you home, and fuck the hell out of you till you couldn’t walk. Yet he remained composed, tried to flash his signature confident smile as you all stood there chatting before you and the girls exited the locker room.
But then, amidst boyish jokes and banter, Auston had the audacity to push the limits. “So, Willy, this little bet between you and y/n - does that only apply to the two of you, or?”
William knew it was a joke. Or at least he tried to convince himself.
“It applies to everyone,” he simply replied.
“Alright, just saying that with an ass like that, in that outfit, there’s probably a lot of guys who’ll try something…”
And William knew he was right. Which also turned out to be proven during the following celebrations, where he saw how other men were looking in your direction. And the mere thought of another man’s hands on you, without his permission, could set off his temper. So as the night went on, he tried to keep you as close as possible.
Not that you minded. You enjoyed his arm around your waist, his firm touches, which, of course, only encouraged you to tease him further. Sitting in his lap, you made sure to gently wiggle your ass a little every time you moved, causing his grip to tighten.
“Are you alright, darling?” You chuckled, leaning against his torso.
“Mmm, with you right here, I’m perfectly fine,” he grinned back.
“You’re not tempted to give up?” you pressed on with a little smirk.
“No, I’m good, baby,” he tried to sound sure and confident, yet on the inside, he was just about to give in. “You?”
“Oh, I’m good too,” you giggled lightly, enjoying the moment, though you could also feel your desire for William growing stronger with each passing moment.
It was definitely a close race, yet both of you were too stubborn to give in, even though you craved each other insanely bad. And soon, William turned to his next move. After all, desperate times called for desperate measures. With you still in his lap, he delicately let his fingers brush against your inner thigh under the table, letting them crawl up under the jersey, and slowly make their way to your core.
You couldn’t help but let out a gasp as his fingers began trailing up your skin, yet it was William who let out the deepest breath when his fingers suddenly came in contact with your bare flesh.
“Shit…” he mumbled under his breath, and you had to bite down on your lip to suppress any sounds, hiding it beneath your smirk as you played your ace. You could almost feel William’s cock growing firmer in his trousers as his fingers lightly brushed against your naked folds.
“Alright, we’re going home now,” William whispered huskily in your ear as he adjusted himself.
“Only if you admit I win,” you chuckled, staying still in your position, and William knew you had bested him. Yet he didn’t let you off that easily, gently sliding a finger inside your core, causing you to gasp.
“Alright, you win… but it seems like I’m not the only one who’s turned on, baby… fuck, your pussy is so wet,” his rough voice echoed in your ear.
“Only for you, Willy,” you softly moaned, turning your head slightly to look at him.
“Mmm, baby, I don’t know whether to fuck you for being so sexy or shove my dick down your throat and show you who’s boss,” he chuckled darkly with a smirk, still holding his finger inside you.
“How about we go home and figure it out?”
And you didn’t need to ask twice before William pushed you off his lap, discreetly adjusting his hard cock, as the two of you said your goodbyes, and you eagerly made your way towards the exit. Even the taxi ride home was a blur, as you were completely entangled with each other, your lips almost never parting. Only when you had to exit and make your way up to your floor did you regain some sense of awareness.
But as soon as you were inside the condo, you were completely consumed by each other again. Lips attached, hands roaming, clothes discarded along the way, leaving you naked as you made it to the bedroom.
You probably hadn’t thought through what would happen next, but you had an idea of what you wanted to do.
As you kneeled before him, William couldn’t help but smirk, letting out a deep breath as you pulled down his boxers, freeing his already hard member, throbbing and in desperate need of attention. And fortunately for him, he didn’t have to wait any longer.
With your dominant hand, you took a firm hold of his length, guiding it to your lips where you offered it a gentle lick up the shaft, your eyes looking up at William through your lashes as you seductively wrapped your lips around the tip.
Soft humming sounds escaped him as his fingers found your hair, gently tugging on it, while you guided yourself to take him into your warmth.
“Mmm, yes, baby, just like that…” William moaned, as you coated him with your saliva, letting him slide in and out of your mouth as you focused on your breathing and relaxing the back of your throat.
And you didn’t hold back, enjoying the power of being in control. Using a combination of your mouth and hand, you worked him faster and hungrier. Gagging a little, not even thinking too much about how deep you took him, as you were more concentrated on listening to his increasing sounds of pleasure.
“Hnng… fuck, baby…” he breathed out, almost out of breath as he shut his eyes and began rocking his hips against your motions.
But you had different plans in mind. Sensing his thigh muscles tighten, you released him from your mouth, causing him to let out a deep sigh of disappointment.
“Fuck, baby, I was so close,” he spoke as you rose from your position.
“I know, but I won, so I get to do whatever I want, right?” you chuckled, giving him your best dominant gaze. And naturally, he couldn’t suppress a smirk, slightly enjoying the fact that you were letting your hidden dominance show.
“Alright, what do you want then?”
“You, on the bed, on your back,” you instructed.
“Ja, my princess,” William simply replied, and did as told. He had to admit that although he mostly enjoyed being the one in charge, you suddenly taking control like this was definitely a new turn-on for him.
And as he rested on the bed, his eyes followed you closely, watching you crawl up his body and making your way closer to his face, placing a knee on either side of his head.
“Make me cum,” you smiled seductively, encouraging him to indulge in his late-night snack. And without complaints, William took hold of your thighs and let his mouth explore your heat.
“Oh yes,” you moaned, gripping the headboard of the bed, simply enjoying William’s skilled mouth and tongue. He touched every sensitive part he could reach, flicking your clit and probing your entrance, wanting nothing but to please you. “Mmm, so good, Willy… yes…”
Gently rocking your hips, your breaths were slowly becoming heavy as you felt the pleasure course through your body. An impending orgasm slowly formed as William made sure to use every inch of his tongue between your folds, his nose occasionally nudging your clit. Using one hand to reach down and tuck his newly cut hair, you let yourself sink a little closer to his face as you locked eyes.
“I’m gonna come, baby…” you moaned in between breaths, and it only made William hold onto you tighter as he hungrily increased the work of his mouth. And then sooner rather than later, you had to arch your back, closing your eyes in pleasure, and let yourself surrender to the climax. “Yes, Willy,” you muttered, feeling your legs shaking a little as you reached the peak, before slowly calming from the high, with a satisfied smile on your lips.
Once you regained your breath, you finally managed to free William from your wetness, slowly moving to straddle his lower abdomen instead. And you had to take a few seconds to admire how his lips and chin glistened from your moisture.
“That’s it?” he cheekily asked, but you weren’t quite finished. Reaching over to your nightstand, you figured it was William’s turn to be restrained, so you instructed him to hold his hands above his head where you cuffed him.
“Keep your hands still,” you smiled seductively. Though you knew you weren’t nearly as dominant as he usually was, you both played along. Despite his smug facial expression, you decided to continue your plan, moving down to position yourself over his cock.
Slowly, you moved your hips, letting your folds slide over his length but not allowing him to enter you. You watched him intensely, studying the details of his handsome face as you delicately provided him with a little taste of pleasure.
“Baby, not so much teasing,” he pleaded softly, and that was just what you wanted to hear. Adjusting yourself, you lined his member with your entrance, and slowly sank down on him, letting him fill you up and stretch your walls.
Unable to contain your own moans, you let out sounds of pleasure, harmonising with his. “Mmm, oh, Willy…”
And then you began to rock your hips, riding his cock and letting it stimulate your insides. Placing your hands on his chest to steady yourself, you slowly increased your speed. It was more romantic than the sex you’d had lately, slow and sexy, with you on top. Your fingers toyed with the chain around his neck as he massaged you with his length. And you could tell that William was growing eager to take control, slightly thrusting his hips up against you while he let you have your fun and kept his hands in place.
But it was becoming increasingly difficult for him. Feeling his climax approaching, he was feeling the need to take over and fuck you the way only he could. After all the teasing and holding back, he so desperately wanted to pound you so hard that you couldn’t even spell out your own name.
And as you sensed his signals of frustration and withdrawal, you too felt the temptation to give in to him.
“You can’t take it, baby?” you smirked down at him. “You want more? You want to fuck me hard and good?” Though William didn’t verbally respond, his actions spoke louder than words. “Alright, baby, then let it go.”
In only a matter of seconds, William’s eyes darkened with your permission. He used his strength to tear apart the little chain that held the handcuffs connected, and swiftly rolled you over into missionary position, where he promptly picked up a hard and forceful pace.
You couldn’t help but chuckle, impressed at how quickly he could change the dynamic. And soon, you found yourself surrendering to him completely, locking eyes intensely as you positioned your heels on his lower back, your hand finding the back of his shoulder, while the other took hold of his dangling chain.
Moans grew louder, the air filled with sweat as the sounds of skin colliding echoed. And as William felt your heels digging into his back, your nails leaving marks on his shoulder, he knew you were getting closer to your second orgasm.
You felt your next climax building, the ecstasy clouding your mind, and soon he increased his speed, eager to push you over the edge and reach his own climax.
“Oh yes,” you managed to moan, his cock almost overstimulating your sensitive walls with every thrust. And only with a few more pounds, William sent you into oblivion again, causing you to tilt your head back into the pillow and let another wave of pleasure wash over you.
And as your muscles clenched around his member, William couldn’t hold back either.
“Fuck, yes…”
Deep grunts of arousal escaped him, his arms almost shaking as he let himself follow suit, reaching his own peak and filling you up with every single drop of cum he had in him.
It was the end of an intense game of teasing and edging. A competition that had to end eventually and could only end on a high. A high you both had to slowly calm down from, opening your eyes as you re-filled your lungs with air and let yourselves regain control of your bodies.
“Shit,” you suddenly breathed out, letting go of William’s chain and stroking your fingers through his hair as his eyes met yours, flashing you a content smile. “You seriously broke the handcuffs.”
William couldn’t contain his laughter, noticing the cuffs now in two pieces on each of his wrists. “What can I say, baby, you bring out the beast in me.”
With light chuckles and giggles, he slowly withdrew his member from you, rolling over onto the side, and both of you turned to face each other. “I guess I do,” you offered him a smile. “But I just hope you enjoyed tonight. I know it’s a bit different from what we usually do.”
William furrowed his brows slightly, positioning his head to rest on his arm as he let out another chuckle. “Of course, it was seriously sexy when you took charge. You didn’t like it?”
“Really? I mean, of course, I liked it, I just wanted to make sure you did too.”
“I really did… you were amazing, like always, baby,” he said, resting his hand on your hip and pulling you a little closer into his sweaty, hot body.
“Hmm, maybe, but I think I prefer it when you’re in charge,” you offered a cheeky wink, causing William to let out another laugh.
It was the perfect way to end the competition. And as you savoured the post-sex cuddle, you both agreed that this type of game was fun, but actually a little too challenging for both of you.
“Yeah, I think if you hadn’t given up, I probably would have shortly after,” you admitted. “I mean, the way you looked on the red carpet… don’t you ever do that to me again!”
“Only if you don’t ever wear that outfit again. I mean, you were so sexy, älskling. But I swear it was so hard not to do anything… especially when Auston made comments about you…”
"Wait, what comments?" you inquired, your curiosity piqued.
"Oh, it’s nothing, he just…" William let out a sigh. "He just commented on your outfit, and then joked about if our competition only counted between you and me…"
Taken aback a little, you then sat up, entangled in the bedsheets, and faced William.
"Do you… think he meant anything by it?"
Though William hesitated for a few seconds, he was also almost certain. "No, no baby, he was just joking… knowing that such comments would get to me," he tried to reassure you, as well as himself, with a soft smile.
"Oh, good," you merely replied.
"Älskling… you’re not… I mean, you don’t… do you?" William's smile slowly faded as he mumbled the words, unable to actually ask the question he was slightly dreading the answer to.
"Do I what? Think Auston is attractive?" you cocked an eyebrow, slightly surprised that your boyfriend was asking such a question about his own teammate.
"Well, yeah, I mean I know what he thinks about you…" William bit his own lip, still unsure what your take truly was on one of his closest friends.
"Oh, well… honestly, I’ve never really thought of him that way…" you gently spoke, pondering your thoughts as you recalled the times with Auston before you started dating William. "I mean he’s not bad looking…"
"Not bad looking?" William let out a small chuckle.
"I’m just saying that many people find him attractive, but… he’s kind of got a funny head shape…" you heard yourself speak, not entirely sure what you meant by it, yet it did throw off the whole questioning about whether you found him attractive or not, since William just chuckled and pulled you in for a kiss.
A soft, romantic, yet passionate and heartfelt kiss, before he looked you in the eyes and whispered, "Min älskade prinsessa."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This Monday morning was a particularly chilly one as you hurried through the police station to reach the office, you smiled at the receptionist on your way in, clutching your hot coffee in a death grip as you made your way upstairs. It wasn’t a day you were particularly looking forward to, knowing the sheer amount of filing that would have to be done today.
Things were somewhat back to normal. With being out of the office for the past few weeks, whether it due to serious issues happening in the city or due to your time off, it was pleasant to go back to the familiar feeling of routine. The incident in the city last week, that had had you and nearly every other S.T.A.R.S agent in the office stretched to the limit, had surmounted a horrendous amount of paperwork. Paperwork however, was something that eluded you. You despised it, despite the fact it was at least 60% of your job.
But another thought struck you as you made your way up the stairs, one that you couldn’t seem to shake and it made you almost giddy. Paperwork and office time meant more time seeing Leon. Leon was always really sweet when it came to helping you filing, he always lent a hand wherever he could and it really helped you out. Feeling decidedly brighter, you hurried through the corridors of R.P.D whilst clutching your scarf a little closer to your chest, the station being converted from an old museum didn’t leave much room for heat retention.
“Morning.” You smiled as you entered the S.T.A.R.S office on the second floor, greeting every familiar face.
“You’re in a good mood this morning.” Chris commented, an eyebrow slightly raised and his tone not matching your distinctly happier one.
“Am I?” You said, brushing off his comment as you slumped your bag down on your desk and turned on your computer.
“I’d say so. Any particular reason?” Chris pressed. You shrugged nonchalantly, placing your coffee down carefully before sitting yourself in your chair. You caught Leon’s eye from across the room, his piercing blue gaze watching you, giving you a small smile and you felt yourself flush a little. You grinned at him. You weren’t entirely sure where your sudden good mood had blossomed from (or weren’t willing to admit it to yourself) but you weren’t complaining, from how shitty you’d felt over the past week or so, this was a more than welcome change.
The morning went surprisingly fast all things considering, and it wasn’t until around 1pm you even noticed you were due for a break.
“Is that the time? You wanna get some lunch?” Jill asked, locking her computer screen and pushing herself away from her desk with a short sigh.
“Yeah, sure.” You agreed as the two of you got to your feet, it wasn’t until you noticed another one of your colleagues pinning some sort of flyer to the notice board by the door when you stopped.
“What is that?” You said, eyeing the new addition to the notice board and reading carefully. “A Christmas party? Since when do we do Christmas parties?” You laughed quietly to yourself but you were overheard.
“We do now. Gotta boost morale, right?" Chris appeared from his office with a smirk, leaning closer to Jill in a way that was painfully obvious to everyone but the two of them. "So, can we expect the two of you to grace us with your presence?”
“Are we having it here?” You asked, the thought of that seemingly utterly unbearable.
“Pfft. Course not. Be breaking about a million rules if I let a bottle of booze past that door. No, the bar across the street, figured that would be the best place.” Chris informed you, and you nodded. At that moment, Leon approached the three of you.
“Hey, Leon. You’ve been quiet today.” You beamed, greeting him, and Leon’s chest once again swelled at hearing you use his name.
“Sorry, snowed under over there.” Leon smiled. You nodded for a second, before bursting out: “Oh! The Christmas party, you coming?”
“I didn’t know there was one.” Leon chuckled as you gesticulated towards the poster pinned to the board. It was like music to his ears hearing you this happy for once.
“When is it?” Leon questioned, and you hummed to yourself noticing that the flyer did not in fact have a date on it.
“Oh, this Friday. Dumb ass didn’t put the date on it.” Chris muttered, ripping the flyer from the board and scrunching it up in his fist, before retreating back to his office and sitting down, busying himself on his computer.
Leon seemed rooted to the spot, and you noticed him clutching some papers.
“Oh, did you need help with something?” You asked, softly.
“I was just gonna get this checked by the boss.” He murmured, eyeing Chris who seemed to be very invested in whatever he was aggressively typing out.
“You want me to take a look?”
“Nah, it’s good. You’re just about to go for lunch right? I’ll take it to him later.” Leon protested, but you weren’t having any of it.
“I’ll help you, it’s fine. Jill, you mind?” You asked, turning to your friend.
“No not at all! Honestly, I said I’d meet my Brad in fifteen.” Jill smiled as her hand reached for the doorknob. You feigned shock and offense, clutching your chest.
“Oh! So you were going to leave me anyway!” You gasped dramatically, causing Jill to roll her eyes before smiling and heading out the office with a quick 'Bye!'.
“Catch you later.” You called after her, and quickly set your bag down before following Leon to his desk at the end.
“You know, you really don’t have to help me. I feel bad you’re delaying your lunch.” Leon said, the tips of his ears tinged pink.
“Nonsense. I won’t hear anymore of it Rookie. What do you need help with?”
You stood leaning on his desk, hand on hip and Leon had to avert his eyes and focus hard on his blank computer screen in order to form words.
“I just needed some clarification on if I’m filing this correctly, it’s quite a bit of reading-“ Leon began, but you interrupted him by taking the file from him and hoisted yourself up on his desk, perching on the edge whilst you read. Leon couldn’t help but notice how your pencil skirt hugged your hips, and how your black tights stretched sheer around your plump thighs. His throat became dry once again.
Once you’d finished reading, you sat the papers down in front of Leon just beside you.
“That’s perfect. You’ve done a good job there Rookie.” You complimented, as you hopped back down off his desk and smoothed your skirt down.
“All good? No mistakes?”
“Nope. Absolutely perfect. Couldn’t do it better myself, and I mean it. I couldn’t do it better myself.” You uttered, and Leon chuckled whilst shaking his head.
“I doubt that.” He muttered under his breath, so quietly you didn’t hear.
“So, lunch?” You proposed, and Leon looked up at you with doting eyes.
“Err- sure. Yeah. I’m starving.” Leon hesitated before returning your smile, and throwing his coat over his uniform. You lead the way out of the office, Leon just behind and the two of you headed down the street for lunch.
This was something new, something unexplored. Just you and Leon, not in the station together. It seemed like the most mundane thing in the world as you joined him on the short walk to the cafe on the corner, but yet, your tummy filled with butterflies when your hands brushed together for a second. Or when he insisted you walk on the inside of the pavement away from the road. A warm feeling was lingering in your stomach, and as smiley as you were today, you weren’t sure you were ready to welcome that yet.
The two of you entered the cafe, the warmth engulfing you as Leon held the door open for you and allowed you in first. It was strange being in here with company for Leon, he usually only came here to grab you your favourite coffee and sandwich, opting to find an alternative for himself (that usually being leftovers from the night before pre-packed.)
Of course, he knew your order off by heart by now. This shocked you when he asked if you wanted your “usual”, to which he reeled off your exact order and then proceeded to get it for you. Mildly horrified, you thrust into your purse for some cash to cover what he’d just paid for. He refused it, which you knew he would so you slipped it into his coat pocket when he wasn’t looking. Perks of being a specialised trained agent you supposed.
The two of you wandered back to the police station, goods in hand as the cafe was always too small and too busy to sit and eat in. The office was mildly quieter when you both returned, most of your fellow colleagues out on lunch or being dispatched on duty. You decided to join Leon at his desk, pulling up a spare chair and you sat cross legged as you ate. The two of you were having a great time, conversation and laughter flows naturally between the two of you. That was until you felt your mobile phone buzz in your pocket, and you frowned as you took it out to see a message from the last person you wanted to hear from.
I’m really sorry about last week. Let me make it up to you?
You stared at the screen for a second, anger rising from your stomach before you snapped your phone shut and shoved it back in your pocket.
“Sorry, you were saying?” You muttered, returning your attention back to Leon.
“You okay?” Leon asked, placing his coffee back on the desk after taking a sip.
“Yeah, fine. You were saying?” You repeated, your lips now forming a hard line that Leon couldn’t help but notice. He desperately wanted to ask what or who it was that kept putting you in a bad mood, dare he offer to go solve the problem for you. But despite his burning curiosity, Leon kept quiet. He respected your boundaries too much to pry, and he figured if you wanted to tell him, you would. You continued your earlier conversation and nothing was brought up about who text your phone.
-
You couldn’t help the nerves fluttering in your stomach as you made your way out of your apartment towards the bar for the staff Christmas party. I mean, God you saw these people every day, why the nerves now? You checked over your appearance before going inside in the window reflection, your hair was tied back in a high ponytail and your lips painted red, you figured it was festive. You weren’t in your usual work clothes, opting for a nice pair of figure hugging jeans, heels and a lightly sequined cowl neck tank top with a jacket. It was as dressy as you got.
You opened the door into the bar, and a wall of sound hit you. Of course with it being a Friday evening, it was packed.
Eyes scanning over the sea of people, you spotted a familiar dark haired man standing at the bar with a drink already in hand.
“Chris, hey! How’re you?” You called out as you approached. You were forcing your outgoing nature to emerge and it seemed to be working, thankfully.
“Y/N, hey! First rounds on me. What you having?” Chris asked, gleefully. You returned his smile, and asked for your usual of a whiskey and coke.
“A girl after that one’s heart.” Chris uttered, although loud enough to be heard over the chatter and music. He spoke casually and jerked his head in the direction to the right of him, before taking a sip of his own drink and you frowned.
“What?” You asked, and Chris just laughed to himself, leaning forwards slightly further over the bar so that Leon came directly into your view. He was sitting at a table chatting with Jill and Sarah from the case admin team. You felt your cheeks flush violently, at that moment the bartender pushed you a whiskey and coke in a small glass. You thanked them and took the glass in your hands, suddenly wanting to down it in one drink.
“It’s very obvious.” Chris said, simply, taking another sip.
“What? What is?” You practically hissed, as you shifted your weight from one foot to the other impatiently. “What’s my drink order got to do with anything?”
Suddenly, Chris shuffled to the side and turned as Leon approached. Leon noticed you instantly, and gave you a beaming smile before catching the bartender’s attention.
“Double whiskey and coke please.” Leon requested, and suddenly it clicked. You were furious at Chris’s implications, and your fury only blazed further at the smug look on his face as Leon grabbed his drink.
“Hey, Y/N. How’s it going?” Leon greeted you, his blue eyes as bright as ever as they rested on you. It was odd to see him dressed in anything other than his RPD uniform. Tonight he was sporting a casual shirt and blue jeans, with a teal jacket over the top. He seemed confident. Probably the alcohol you thought, in retrospect.
“Hey Leon.” You smiled back but it was half-hearted as you were slightly flustered, you shot Chris a look before slipping round him to join Leon, heading back to Jill and Sarah who were sitting in the corner.
“You’re welcome for the drink, don’t have too much fun with the rookie.” Chris called after you, and you stopped quickly, retreating a few steps and you pressed your mouth to your boss’s ear to ensure no one else could hear.
“You know, I hear Jill is very single. It’s also very obvious you’re obsessed with her. Would you like me to mention it to her? She is my best friend after all, she might want to know.”
Chris froze in his seat, and you grinned as you made your way back over to Leon who looked very confused.
“What was that about?” Leon laughed, glancing back at now a very stiff looking Chris. “Never seen the boss looking that scared.”
“Don’t worry about it.”
-
The night flew by as you sat amongst your co-workers. Others turned up as the night went on, and the racket coming from your table was quite frankly obscene. Chris didn’t mention a word about you and Leon for the rest of the night, and kept nervously eyeing you and then Jill as if trying to sus out if you’d spilled his little secret yet. In terms of drinks, you couldn’t remember how much you’d drunk. Or what you’d drunk. You knew it was bad, but you were thoroughly enjoying the buzz you had. Everything was funny, and everyone was so nice. Especially Leon. Leon was nicer than he’d ever been right now. He even smelled amazing. You’d never noticed this before. Had he always smelled this good? Any excuse to touch him or be close to him in your drunken state, you were taking.
You were sandwiched between Leon and Sarah, Brad and Jill opposite. In your fits of drunken giggles, you kept resting your hand on Leon’s thigh or leaning into him and whispering stupid things in his ear. It was driving him absolutely insane, your touches sobering him and putting him in a euphoric state simultaneously. He didn’t know how you were doing it, he was just utterly enamored with you.
As the night went on, a few people began to drop off and leave. The clock had just gone 1am, but you were blissfully unaware as you attempted to down yet another whiskey and coke. Leon intervened and passed you a water instead, to which you just pouted. He didn’t give in, finishing your whiskey himself so it wasn’t within reach anymore and you succumbed to reluctantly sipping your water.
You were clutching your stomach, laughing at something Jill had said that wasn’t nearly funny enough to warrant such a dramatic reaction, until you felt that familiar buzz of your phone again in your pocket. Groaning, you contorted yourself to fish around in your pocket to retrieve your phone. You flipped it open and groaned again loudly, your face screwing up in an almost caricature like way, and you seriously debated throwing your phone across the bar. You clung to the faint rational thoughts that were still lingering in there somewhere and kept hold of the device.
The phone screen was blurry, but you could clearly see the text on the screen. It was the guy you’d been seeing for the past six months before you broke things off a few weeks ago. You'd really, really liked him. He'd turned out to be a raging asshole and cheated on you. He’d been begging for a second chance from you for the last week or so, and it was getting too much. You knew what you could be like, and you didn’t want to give in to the temptation of familiarity and lingering feelings. You truly thought you were somewhat okay after finding out you’d been cheated on, opting to throw yourself back into the dating game almost immediately as a way of just moving past it. Not a great idea. Plus the fact that most men within a five mile radius seemed to be vastly immature and unbothered didn’t help.
Things hit a breaking point for you when you took sick leave the other week, another date went bad and it was definitely the straw that broke the camel's back. You’d had enough, feeling worthless and not strong enough to block your ex. It had been a vicious cycle and you’d had enough, needing a few days to yourself to recoup and collect your head. You were doing better, avoiding dating strangers all together but you still couldn’t bring yourself to block that number.
The text read:
I always knew you were a stuck up bitch. You were a pity fuck anyway.
You scoffed at your phone screen, earning a few glances from your co-workers, but you weren’t paying attention. You flipped your phone shut and immediately retreated from the table needing fresh air. You didn’t say a word, just clambered away and to the front of the bar, desperate to be outside and away. You went around the side of the bar, in a quieter alley, and sunk to the ground taking deep breaths, the alcohol hitting you hard in the cold winter air.
You laughed humourlessly, the words on the phone screen bouncing around your head like a banner. You whipped your phone back out again in fury, quickly unlocked it and returned to the offending text message. You read it again, and started chuckling this time in disbelief. With ease, you moved the button over to “block contact” and pressed “OK”. The message and everything else disappeared from your screen and you felt a weight lift from your shoulders, and you sunk back into the wall. You sat on the ground for a while, the cold air feeling nice on your face as you let the dizzy feeling engulf you.
“Y/N? Are you alright?” A familiar voice interrupted your peace, but you weren’t complaining. It was the only voice you would be able to stomach hearing right now.
“Yeah. I’m good Leon” You murmured back.
“You say that an awful lot for a person who clearly… isn’t.. good.” He huffed the ending of his sentence as he came to join you on the pavement.
You opened your tired eyes briefly, lids still heavy as you chuckled softly and rest your head on his shoulder.
“Hi.” You said, eyes closed and smiling.
“Hi.” Leon chuckled, his chest swelling at the way you were resting against him. “So, you gonna tell me what’s going on?”
“Just.. stupid men.” You grumbled, your words almost slurred.
“Who do I need to knock out?”
“No one.” You laughed quietly.
“Seriously, Y/N, I’m worried about you. Have been worried about you. You’ve not been yourself for a while.”
You sighed, knowing he was right. A small part of your sober self has been wanting to tell him for weeks. Your drunk self definitely would.
“Leon, truthfully,” you sat up from his shoulder, your tired eyes meeting his.
“I’ve just had a shit time recently with dating. And it’s not just been bad dates it’s… well. My ex long story short, cheated on me and is now being really really shitty sending me texts, trying to “win me back". Although this last one actually was just straight up mean." You sighed, feeling relieved slightly to get this off your chest, you hadn’t told anyone about what’d been happening.
“Wait, seriously?” Leon scoffed, turning to look at you, you nodded weakly, closing your eyes slowly and returning your head back to his shoulder.
“I’m sorry, Y/N. You deserve so much better than assholes like that. You deserve someone who will cherish you, take care of you and…” Leon trailed off, sober thoughts wedging a barrier between his slightly inebriated brain and his mouth.
“What? And what?” You almost whispered as you sat up from his shoulder once again, staring at the blonde man next to you, your thoughts in a jumbled mess. You couldn’t tell if you’re dizziness was due to the alcohol or from being this close to Leon. So close you could see every detail on his face. Leon opened his mouth again hesitantly, preparing to continue before someone rounded the corner.
“There you two are.” It was Jill, she was hugging herself against the biting cold as she stood staring at you both on the floor. “What are you doing down there? It’s freezing out.”
You and Leon both met Jill’s stare, she was distinctly fuzzy in your vision as you looked up at her. Your stomach flipped and you sighed, the alcohol really taking its toll now. You felt Leon’s hand move to your knee and give it a hard squeeze.
“We’re good, Jill. Thanks. I think Y/N’s ready for home.” Leon said, his hand never leaving your knee. The warmth was a pleasant contrast to the cool evening air. You nodded weakly at your friend, agreeing with Leon. Nothing sounded better than being wrapped up in the warmth right now.
“That’s all good. Want me to call you a cab?” Jill asked, her teeth jittering now.
“No, it’s fine, thanks. I’ll make sure she gets home safe, don’t worry.” Leon reassured Jill. “We’ll see you back in there to say bye to everyone.”
Seemingly satisfied you were okay, Jill nodded briefly and hurried back inside into the warmth. Leon turned back to you, you’d slumped your head back onto him in complete exhaustion.
“Come on, let’s get you home.”
Leon helped you to your feet and steadied you as your entire world spun. He lead you back into the bar and the pair of you quickly said goodbye to everyone that remained. You got a few comments about your ‘early’ (as Chris called it) departure but you laughed it off. Bed was calling. Leon’s hand slowly made it’s way to the small of your back as he lead you back outside to wait for a cab to take you home.
Leon dialled through to the local taxi rank as you stood close beside him, confirming your address. You were shivering madly, not dissimilar to how Jill had been mere moments ago. The cold was getting under your skin now, your light jacket not doing much to aid you in keeping warm.
“Will you be okay by yourself?” Leon asked quietly, after he’d put the phone down. You looked at him for a moment, the thought lingering in your mind but you were afraid to propose it. He looked distracted momentarily, his brows knitting together and he suddenly started shrugging his jacket off and draped it over your shoulders. The heat was glorious, it fitting over your shoulders just like you’d want and it smelled like him. You could’ve slept right then and there if you’d have been sitting.
“Thanks.” You mumbled, pulling the jacket round you, closer together. “And no, I - well I will be okay on my own but … I want -“ you sighed, taking a deep breath trying to collect yourself and your words as Leon’s eyes fixed on you.
“I want you to stay with me, would that be okay? I just don’t want to be alone.” You spoke very softly and quietly, almost embarrassed at your confession. Leon’s eyes immediately softened at your words, and he exhaled a short breath before saying: “Of course that’s okay.”
-
The taxi ride back to your apartment was a comfortable silence, Leon sat in the backseat with you and you almost fell asleep on him during the journey. You may have done at one point, who knows. Just being leant against him and engulfed in his scent and warmth relaxed you to a point you didn’t think was possible. Leon gave you a gentle nudge when the car pulled to a stop, waking you from your dazed state to let you know you were here. He helped you out of the car and into your apartment. You practically collapsed through the door in relief.
“Make yourself at home.” You slurred, heading straight for the couch and collapsing on it. Leon shrugged his coat off and hung it on the coat rack you had by your door, and he made his way into the open plan kitchen to search for a glass.
"Am I okay to grab water?" He asked, politely, eyeing your deflated frame on the couch.
"Whatever you need, help yourself." You mumbled. Leon nodded, and proceeded to fill a glass from the faucet and bring it to you. You smiled weakly, accepting it from him and taking a sip. Thanking him quietly, you adjusted yourself on the sofa and patted the cushion next to you, extending a silent invitation to the man standing in your living room. Leon accepted, easing himself down into the cushions.
"Why are you so nice to me Leon?" You blurted out, glass still in hand. Leon's expression faltered into one of surprise, just for a brief second, and then he smiled softly.
"I'm nice to everyone." He chuckled out, nervously. You considered this for a moment, nodding slowly. Now you thought about it, maybe he was nice to everyone. You did see him bringing coffee to Sarah the other day, maybe that was just his thing. He was the nice guy. Suddenly, an emotion overwhelmed you that you weren't expecting. It was like someone had started a fire in your belly, it was an unpleasant feeling. One your intoxicated self couldn't quite place. The possibility of Leon not being interested in you romantically, quite frankly hurt. And then it's like everything hit you all at once.
"Leon, what if I said I want you to be nice to me?" You muttered, your phrasing not quite coming across as you'd wanted. You took another sip of water in a feeble attempt to gain back some sobriety. You desperately wanted to have this conversation when you were sober but you both knew that wasn't going to happen.
Leon chuckled again at your remark, this time it was more genuine and less nervously fuelled.
"I'm always nice to you, Y/N. I think it's time we got you to bed."
"No," You grabbed Leon's arm as he began to shuffle to the edge of the couch to get up. "Leon I mean..." You trailed off, not wanting to say words you'd regret in the morning but they were coming out of your mouth before you'd even given it a second thought.
"Leon no I like you. I like you, like you."
"Oh..." Was all Leon could muster, he was stunned, his brain not quite processing your words and all he could do was let his gaze sink into yours. He was subconsciously leaning back towards you, and you grabbed him by his shirt, pulling him towards you and closing the gap. Your lips collided and you felt Leon relax immediately into the kiss, kissing you back with a level of passion and softness you don't think you'd ever experienced before. He tasted sweet and a hint of whiskey lingered on his tongue. You parted softly, catching your breath. That had done the trick in sobering you up slightly at least.
"Y/N... Listen," Leon began, and your heart immediately sank, expecting the worst to come out of his mouth. You let him continue, your throat tight. "You're drunk, you don't know what you're saying."
He began to pull away slightly. Leon had thought for a brief second that all of his dreams had come true. I mean it was you of all people. You, saying that you liked him back. You, pulling him in for a kiss. But there was no way someone as pretty and as kind as you could possibly be interested in someone like him. You were drunk, very drunk. Leon knew this, and there was no way on this Earth that you could mean what you were saying, in his eyes.
"What?" You breathed, attempting to pull him back again but he had shuffled too far out of reach and was now sitting right on the edge of the couch, his elbows resting on his knees. "Leon. I know I'm drunk out of my mind right now but, you know what they say..." You placed your water on the table beside you and shuffled forward to sit directly next to him again, "Drunk words are sober thoughts. And I mean every word of what I just said. Some things are just easier to say when you're wasted." This earned you a small smile from him, and he looked at the floor briefly before meeting your eye again, his cheeks flushing pink.
"Now stop looking at me like that and kiss me again."
Leon didn't need to be told twice, he leaned in and cupped your face with his palm as he kissed you deeply, somehow more passionately than the first time. It was euphoric. It felt as if everything was falling into place and it just felt right. You felt positively stupid for even worrying about confessing your feelings mere moments ago.
Your eyes fluttered open as you both parted again, faces still inches apart and breathing heavy.
"Can I tell you something?" Leon breathed. You nodded.
"Of course." You whispered, prompting him.
"I've been wanting to do that since the minute I laid eyes on you."
Your eyes softened and you melted into his touch, his palm still resting on your cheek as he traced your bottom lip with his thumb.
"I'm sorry I didn't realise sooner, Rookie." You grinned as you spoke in almost a whisper, giggling at the nickname in your still slightly inebriated state. You pulled him in again for another kiss, but his hand pressed on your chest softly, stopping you in your tracks. Your eyes immediately scanned his face, searching for what was wrong.
"Is this a bad time to mention, I've always hated that nickname?" Leon said in a low voice, a smile creeping on his lips, one which you matched as you shook your head and laughed softly.
Grabbing his shirt again, your lips connected perfectly with his. Your hands wandered into Leon's hair and you gave it a gentle tug, deepening the kiss and earning a low moan from him against your mouth that drove you insane. You straightened up, breaking away from his swollen lips for a second before you pushed him back onto the sofa, and swung your leg over his lap so that you were straddling him.
"Okay then, Leon." You said as you pulled your shirt over your head and threw it on the floor.
