as a head was slumped down the desk, papers scattering down the floor while a pen rolled over along, hiiro hears you groan for the 5th time this day after returning from idol practice. the new idol was often confused of you could easily get irritated when no sense of inspiration floats over your head like what happens all the time when writing a new paragraph for your new book. you’re a writer you see, and despite so it seems your lack of new ideas can completely bother you from time to time, and because of that you tend to freak out.

the deadlines is what pressured you the most. hiiro knows these for sure, in fact he tends to take note in mind that every time he visits your place, the first thing you both would enter is your (quite messy) room. just a cup of coffee, papers scattered, a typewriter on the side and your laptop on your studying table. plus add your trash can that has been filled. there were moments were you would stay quiet like a doll, then type down on what’s your head. and with that action thus brings a smile over his face. however, regardless of your condition at the moment, hiiro still loves how determined and hardworking you are at your position. even though you tend to just whine out of thin air which surprises him. like right now.

as the male looked over your laptop (while your head was still slumped down on your desk), hiiro reads your work, carefully…reading every word existing in that very page of your work and then…smiles. it wasn’t that bad. well, he’s not much of a book reader so he doesn’t know. hiiro only reads your books, and no one else’s (also the magazines he reads given by aira about idols). “y/n are you writing a romance novel for your next work or…?” he asks, using the mouse to scroll down in order to read more. you hummed from below, not even bothering to look up and face him. “my editor told me that i’ve been writing a lot of amazing ideas about mystery plots, but then requested me if i could make a change a little…the most popular genre right now is romance so i gave that one a shot…” you replied, and your boyfriend nods in return.

over 221 pages is what you’ve written in total this month. he was reading the current page you were stuck in and whining about. chapter 15: cupids’ words it titles. and the main protagonist was narrating about the small realization of love that they’re feeling towards the love interests. typical novels. standing up, hiiro taps over your shoulder and placed both hands on his hip. “y/n, look at me,” he says, and you did. slowly lifting your head, hair messy and eyelids carried with dark circles underneath, hiiro sends you a beam. “i know exactly what you’re missing,” he adds, then you smiled widely.

“really?! oh my god, i knew you were a savior! tell me, tell me…!”

he chuckles at your reaction. “ok then. what you need is…a good and relaxing sleep.”

“how was practice…?” you managed to erupt out while cuddling the male.

“i’m not sure, either. but all i know is that he practiced well today. and that’s the important part..heck, today i even met even more idols than before. they all looked so serious, but i can’t help but ask some of them to be my friend.”

as another wave of peace floated by, you gently pushed hiiro away to look at his face. hiiro notices this gesture and looked back at you with pure bewilderment. “you’re…really optimistic about opening up to new friends, aren’t you…?”

hiiro wasn’t sure if you were serious about that question since he knew you know about this attitude of his. in fact, because of his friendly nature—that’s how he met you. “i like making new friends,” he answers back, naturally. “that’s how i got to know you after all. and i don’t regret a single thing about it.” hiiro finds you quiet, and observant at the moment. you were thinking…

if it was the temperature in this room or your cheeks glowing red, you would choose the temperature more for the reason. sheepishly, you dug your face down on your lover’s chest, too embarrassed to even look at him in the eye. “i-i know that..” you murmured. he chuckles down over your figure as he brushes his fingers through your hair. “do you still remember those words?” he looks down at you while he asks. “those three words you told me one night while we were scrolling down back to your house?”

your face heats up. “o-of course i do…”

with that reply, hiiro smiles. “would you mind saying it?”

“you little…! i-if you just wanna hear me say it at least say it first..” you retorted before inhaling a deep breath. hiiro was smiling cheek to cheek the entire time, and you were stuck between pinching his cheeks until it hurt or kissing him. and then, it struck you. “i love you.” just simple three words and it still made his heart jump till this day. satisfied with you response, hiiro pulls you close to him as the both of your foreheads stuck together, his laughter echoing the room while all you could do was blush.

“and i love you too…!” he says, pressing a small peck on your lips. how many cupids shot your heart today? definitely a lot…and he was the main victim for your love. with the idea popping through your head, you excitedly pushed hiiro away with the most huge smile on your face your boyfriend had ever seen today. your actions surprised him while you yelp in joy. “that’s it…! i finally found an inspiration! hiiro i really, really love you!!”

“eh?? y/n what are you—

jumping out of the bed, you quickly made your way back towards your study table and opened your laptop up in a flash, now continuing to type down on what had placed over your head. hiiro stands up after, and as he watches you type over your laptop with a wide grin, all he could do was smile over at you. who was he to stop your actions when you looked so adorable right now?

after your work was over and the two of you head to bed, hiiro secretly reads the chapter you finished today. instead of seeing ‘chapter 15: cupids’ words’ like it was titled this day, instead he saw ‘chapter 15: the three words you told me.”

C H A L L E N G E

Disclaimer: Lol this has probably already been done pls don’t come for me I know this community goes nuts about credits sometimes and I’m not claiming to be special for making this. If u have seen this done before or if you have made a challenge similar, I’m not trying to copy, this is a pretty common method in general I’m just turning it into a challenge for myself and anyone who wants to try it, to have a specific outline and method of practice.

Inspo:

I was listening to just like magic and she talks about her day, and I decided that I should ACTUALLY practice scripting. Daily. Like a journal entry every day of everything I want my day to be like! Writing every day as the person I wish I was! Present tense, dated as today, detailing everything about my life as it should be!

What’s wonderful about this is it can be as detailed or simple as I want. Let’s say one day I write a detailed entry talking about driving my ideal car to the gym and going shopping and meditating and spending time with my lover and best friend and then the next day I just write “today was the perfect day.” Either way I’m manifesting. Either way I’m creating my dream life. This is the perfect method to manifest ANY and EVERY THING! A new home, a new car, being rich as fuck, specific person, lifestyle, what kind of person you are, what you do with your life. If you’re trying to start a new routine of yoga or you want to eat healthy, journal about it. If you want to go out and have fun more often, journal it. This is SO versatile and yet simple. So here’s the challenge:

Get a journal or a page in your notes app to dedicate to this challenge. This will ONLY be for scripting. It will be 100% living in the end.

Put the date on the top of the page and write as if you are living your ideal life.

This isn’t about the future this is about how perfect your day is TODAY! Flip any negative things that happened into the positive ideal version. Add anything you want into your current reality. Write about any positive things that happened or that you already have.

Try to journal every day, I suggest at night before you go to bed. It’s okay if you miss a day here and there, it happens, who cares. And if you totally fall off for a while, that’s fine, just pick it back up and keep going.

Example:

January 3rd 2023

I got tickets to go see my favorite comedian live! I’m so excited I can’t wait! Also today has just been amazing in general because my partner is so sweet to me, we got breakfast together and went on a walk and today has just been sooo beautiful! We found a place to chill in the park after our walk and we drew cute pictures of each other! The perfect date!

January 4th 2023

Today was such a perfect day

January 5th 2023

I started my day with my self care routine, and made a cup of ice coffee, then I went to the gym. I went home and showered and hung out with my friends on the beach.

January 6th 2023

Today has been so amazing! I woke up to $6000 added to my bank account out of the blue! So I took my best friend and my partner shopping and then we went to go see a movie. Now I am just relaxing after my daily meditation and I will do yoga and then take my partner on a fancy date. I love my life. It’s literally such a dream!

These are just examples to show that you can go into detail, write about specific things you want to manifest, or your ideal lifestyle or you can just manifest good vibes some days. So give it a shot, and dm, leave a comment, or leave an ask in my inbox and tell me how it went if you do

1. How many works do you have on AO3? 10 works.

2. What's your total AO3 word count? 131,856

3. What fandoms do you write for? Only Zelda right now, but I have done stuff for Evangelion and Teen Titans in the past! Also looking to add a Shingeki no Kyojin piece in there soon.

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos? Reverdie (413), Fragmentation (290), After the Rain (200), Tacet (188) and Finding and Keeping (175)

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? Always! I'm very greatful for folks taking the time to read and comment on my stuff. It really means a lot to me, so I like to show my gratitude in the comments.

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Ooof uhhhh like none? I think I did some themed one-shots that were downers but like...I really can't bring myself to end on angsty notes.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? They all end happy, but I think Love Stayed With Me has to be the happiest by default because [TOTK ending spoilers here]

8. Do you get hate on fics? Thankfully, no! It would be okay if I did, though. Like whatever, a hater isn't paying for my service so I wouldn't really care if they were wasting their energy in my comments section.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? Yes! It depends on the situation, really. I'm a big fan of smut that is sort of exploratory and almost innocent, where two characters are exploring these feelings with one another and discovering that bliss for the first time. But on the other hand...I am like, beyond ready to write Link getting pegged LMFAO. I'm not too picky about smut.

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written? No... I don't think I have. I think I planned one when I was like 13 but I can't remember the fandoms or anything.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? Have had stuff reposted without my permission on other sites, but my name was still attached to it. So like...not entirely stolen haha. No one reposted under a different author's name.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated? No, but I WOULD LOVE THIS

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? Yesssss! Currently worked on A Song of Storms with @deiliamedlini!

14. What's your all-time favorite ship? I really think Zelink takes the cake for me. I've never simped so hard for a ship. I love how they are cosmically entwined, soulmates which can come in really lovely, heartfelt forms, or angsty, miserable forms. They aren't limited by one iteration. gOD.

15. What's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will? As much as I wish I could, I don't think a longfic is in the cards for me. I'm frankly not creative enough to keep the momentum up ;_;. Maybe if the right inspo hit. But at this point I write shorter things and I don't expect to not finish them at some point, even if they take a while to crank out.

16. What are your writing strengths? I like to think that I have strong ideas on characterizations, and that the prose carries the ideas that I'm trying to convey. (Particularly about Zelink.) I love the poetic imagery for them and enjoy metaphoers and loooove religious imagery for them as well.

17. What are your writing weaknesses? Absolutely fucking plot and also finding the balance between like, wanting langauge to be flowery and not overdoing it. I am always tearing my hair out over it.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic? Oh I'm very down lol

19. First fandom you wrote for? I think would have been Teen Titans when I was like 12.

20. Favorite fic you've ever written? UGHHHHH I don't know, maybe Reverdie because it was so music inspired? And I loooooove writing pining Link and the sexual tension between them. Part of me actually thinks about rewriting that and making it longer, dragging it out even more than just 4 chapters, but I think that's me being sadistic haha. Love Stayed With Me was also so personal to me because it was crafted sort of in real time with playing TOTK. And of course has all my own personal baggage tied into it.

I’m meeting Dan tomorrow and I’m so stressed. What do I do? What do I say? I’m so unprepared

ahhh yay you're gonna have SO MUCH FUN!!! i pinky double promise there is zero need to be stressed because he is the loveliest dude in the world and is a total pro at m&gs but here are some helpful tips under the cut:

BEFORE YOU MEET HIM

if you're nervous try getting there earlier than you need to be so you can be closer to the front of the queue and will have less time to get anxious

bring something for him to sign! like one of the books/art/a print out for him to sign. if you don't have anything on you, you'll probably get your VIP bag before you meet him and there is a photo in there he can sign! (i got him to write my fav lyrics on a blank stock paper and now it's on my wall and i love it so so much so maybe something that's personal to you?) **side note i wrote down the lyrics on a sticky note ahead of time so he could just copy them down**

if you're going with someone, see if they'll be your buddy so that they can film your interaction while you use your phone to take the selfie (if you're going alone just ask someone in line to buddy up and i PROMISE you'll find someone like that queue is full of the nicest people who are also phannies...so in no way intimidating and also if they're alone you can swap and film them! plus bonus time to just look at dan)

if you don't have a pose in mind he'll take your phone (and i do mean man is gonna snatch your phone from your hand and if it's unlocked he WILL be a little shit so fair warning) and hold it up at a myspace angle and do a peace sign

if you have a pose in mind tell him and he'll do literally whatever! meetdnp has some amazing ideas but ultimately it's up to you! if you have someone filming you he will also pose for a full body shot too (he usually notices them and will ask if you want a full body photo) i do recommend holding hands bc it's just a lovely experience 🥺

I love chatting with readers and try to respond to comments as they come in (occasionally I fall behind depending on my work sched, but I always respond!).

6. What is a fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

My Twin Peaks fic Twin Flames Divided is very similar to its canon source, so has to be angsty and a little out there! Definitely angstier than my usual fics!

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

So far I think Dear Donna, (my hellcheer slow burn told through letters) has the happiest, tooth-rotting fluff around. But all of my Chrissy fics have happy endings :)

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I would say no, not really! Thankfully, everyone's been super supportive in the comments and on tumblr:)

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Only once!! It's anon and was posted for Kinktober as like a little writer challenge for myself to see if I COULD do it. It was fun, but I'll leave the smut to the professionals lol.

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

I wrote on that's currently on hiatus, but had SO much fun with it! IT's a TP x ST crossover where Agent Cooper is brought into the midst of season 4's crazy supernatural murders. I'd love to get back into it, but I have other brainworms I want to work on now.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Don't think so!

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Also, no, but I'd be so into that!

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Not yet! But I'd love to be a co-conspirator with my main squeeze @1lostsoul0fishbowl someday when our schedules and inspo lines up to try it!

14. What's your all-time favorite ship?

Hellcheer has been my big one, but I'm starting to fall in love with some ST rarepairs lately...so we'll see if it stays that way.

15. What's a wip you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?

Hmm any unfinished WIPs of mine will be finished in their own time. I have a hard time admitting one might be unfinished, because my core perfectionism won't allow anything to be left undone!

16. What are your writing strengths?

I think my dialogue is a decent guiding factor in my writing! It's at least my favorite portion to write!

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

In general, allowing more creativity to flow while I'm writing. I went to college with an emphasis on more direct, scientific writing....But now I'm trying to unlearn all the drills of no flowery language or complex sentences to write with better immersion and storytelling.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I'm not confident enough to do that, unless I'm very knowledgeable in that language. But it's rare for me to inject that into the fics I write.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Twin Peaks technically!

20. Favorite fic you've written?

That's like picking a favorite child! But back against the wall, today my favorite is there is a light that never goes out , my wip for jonathan x chrissy. It's moody, it's 80s cheesy, and it's cute :)

I recently started projecting a 5.11a lead climb 💪🏽 (and took a huge whip aka fall on it 😳 — very fun hehe), so that's pretty cool. 😁 I'm also fiiinally going to start managing my new store (not my store as in owner, but "my" as in manager of it) tmro !! 🥳

My writing process varies, but—for me—it all starts @ the point of inspo.

Sometimes inspo hits me like a truck, and the story simply flows until it exhausts itself i.e. a hug (or, a thousand words too painful to say, but too precious to be left unspoken). Other times, inspo trickles like a nearly depleted stream, and writing feels like wiggling a baby tooth from dawn till dusk, trying desperately (and tiredly) to pull it out i.e. NSFW Alphabet — Himejima Gyomei — I've been writing basically a letter a day, and am ~halfway finished.

As an occasional dabbler in playwriting, dialogue is def a stronger aspect of my writing, and I often outline scenes by their dialogue rather than their physical/emotional aspects. However, sometimes I write the other way around!

For instance, I started a hug (or, a thousand words too painful to say, but too precious to be left unspoken) w/ poignant imagery (the first paragraph) that drove the rest of its plot, but for i hear your heart, feel your soul, see your body; i love you, I actually wrote literally all the dialogue first, and then slowly pieced the rest of the scene together.

I've found that 500-2,000 words tends to be my preferred length of writing, so anything 2,000+ means either a. inspo hit me like a truck (for one shots) or b. it's headcanons/preferences, so it's really just a ton of shorter works strung together into a ~technically longer piece. I can't exactly speak on the process of writing longer works, bc they're just not my instinctive style.

That being said, when writing something 2,000+, I find myself only writing the most important moments to inform the entirety of the plot — otherwise I get overwhelmed/lose steam.

I suspect I float around 500-2,000 words bc I strongly dislike revisiting unfinished works. 😅 If I can't write it all in one sitting, then I (generally) don't want to write it! 😝

Imo, the most important thing about a writing process is that it works for and serves the writer. Ofc, professional/reknowned writers have their own recommendations, processes, "do this!", "never do this!", but discovering my own needs and boundaries has been the most helpful for me.

A deep love and desire to write, along with the ~somewhat consistent time and availability to write, are ultimately the basis of my writing process. No, I don't wake up at 5am every day to write; no, I don't do many quick write exercises; no, I don't consciously implement challenges to better my writing; but yes I love writing, and even a sentence is better than no sentence at all. 🤓

Welp let's see how this goes. I've been doing the writing thing for a little over two years, I think? Time has flown and I have done... little.

How many works do you have on AO3? 21.

2. What’s your total AO3 word count? 57,611. None of which have reached over the 12,000 mark.

3. What are your top 5 fics by kudos? Something, Old, New, Broken and Blue at number 1, followed by Something Precious, a Bold Beginning, My Soul Says Ouch and Match Made in Vain. The top 3 are for Stranger Things, and the 4th and 5th are for Mafia: Definitive Edition. I reckon the top ones are at the top mainly because they're a bigger fandom.

4. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? I do, I'm always so happy when I get them, but I worry I sound like a broken record. there's only so many ways to thank someone for reading and commenting, even though I'm overjoyed every time it happens.

5. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending? Possibly Ready for Table for Doctor Who's The Two Doctors, since that doesn't end in a good spot for the main character, but the canon story has a good ending, so you know it's going to be ok. Probably Bon Appetit, for Mafia: DE, since it's a dark yandere cannabilism fic.

6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending? That's a tough one, most of mine have happy endings. Possibly My Soul Says Ouch, since the characters spend so long pining over each other before getting together? Also my only polyam fic, (or at least where it's not just implied) so 50% extra love?

7. Do you write crossovers? I haven't, none have really occurred to me. I don't usually read them either, but if it's done well, I'll read it.

8. Have you ever received hate on a fic? Not hate per se, but I did have one commenter who didn't like some things, and told me I could change things, and didn't need to stick to the canon. I quite liked my choices, though, and so did other kinder commenters. I do the fic for me, first and foremost.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? Not in anything I've posted, but I'm currently writing a Galavant fic that has some, for angst reasons. I did have a tad in A Bold Beginning, but I danced around the subject so much that I don't think it counts. I'm ace, which I don't think helps much, I'm basing most of it off of what I've read.

10. Have you ever had a fic stolen? Not that I'm aware of.

13. What’s your all-time favourite ship? Mega tough one. Good Omens got me into it, but I haven't read much of them. Stobotnik, since I only watched the films for them? Two/Jamie? I read a lot of Johnlock, but that was ages ago. Geraskier? I think I just binge a ship and return to it if I really liked it. Depends if the ship's small or big, I guess.

14. What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will? I had a mermaid!Tommy au I tried to get going for a long while, but kept getting stuck on logistics. An omegaverse mafia fic, an angsty guilt fic, and even a fic for Forever (TV show from 2014). Plus a bunch of ideas that hit while I was writing something else, and I'd lost the fixation by the time I finished. There's still a few sticky notes with ideas in my phone, from inspo at work. I think I get a lot more ideas than I manage to write :(

15. What are your writing strengths? Beginnings. I love nothing more than going "Bang! Here's what's happening." Otherwise, I dunno what my strengths might be. Writing in full sentences for the first draft?

16. What are your writing weaknesses? Hanging on to the motivation to finish a fic. Not using a variation of the phrase "All they could do was hope." Nearly put that in thrice in three chapters by mistake, I'm sure it's getting old. Motivation for sure though, I miss the days when I was writing tropey one-shots, at least they were one and done.

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic? I haven't really had a need to do it, and would worry about formatting if I did. Closest I've had to this was a heavily accented character, but I didn't really know how to write an accent and so I didn't write it in. Not sure if I'd do it that way again, but it made it easier.

18. What was the first fandom you wrote for? Mafia: Definitive Edition. Wrote my first fic in one of my last year 12 math classes. Also the fandom that made me switch from looking at tumblr on Pinterest to actually being on tumblr. There wasn't enough content, so I had to go searching, and then make my own.

19. What’s a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to? Really want to throw my hat into the ring on Wez/The Golden Youth, from Mad Max 2, but the only ideas I have for them are really long. Other ones I've considered writing include Forever, Red Dwarf, Sportarobbie from Lazytown, Johnny/Reg from SAS Rogue Heroes and Jude/Cardan from The Cruel Prince.

20. What’s your favourite fic you’ve written? I'm really liking the Galavant fic I'm writing at the moment, mainly because it's shamelessly self-indulgent. Probably one of my Mafia fics, Chosen by the Life, Choking on my Love or Bring Me Home. It's been a while since I've read my own stuff, this has been a real trip down memory lane.

Desperately trying to remember people who write so I can tag them... I'm so bad at names, if I miss you I'm sorry. And I may not know you at all well so I apologise if you find this weird.

So I’m sorry if this is weird, ehm, but your fanfic has genuinely just breathed life into me over the past few days. Every minute of downtime I’ve looked forward to finding another read of yours. I’ve unfortunately blown through it all so quickly. Is there anyone you know who also has a similar writing style you could recommend? I’ve seen your reblogged posts of other writers and I’m having a hard time finding something that causes that same bursting of sunlight inside of me as your stories do.

Also, and obviously no pressure because we’re all just lucky that you write anyway, but Nest was probably my favorite. Ehm, I guess what I’m trying to say is, it would be amazing if you did more of that as well. My other favorites include Blush, Pearls, Unscripted, L’amoureux, Soft. Oh! i kinda want to get back into writing again, only im not exactly sure how if we're being honest. it's been so long and so much has happened i feel like i've lost the ability to do it. or the idea of writing feels so- distant. any tips on how to get back into it?

hi anon! i absolutely want to say that feeling this way is totally okay and valid! i feel like this a little bit currently, and it is pretty hard to stop feeling this way and to get out of that slump. however, i do think i can give you some tips!

also, i just want to say that it's totally okay if you don't want to write anymore, or if your mental wellbeing comes first. sometimes we get overwhelmed by what we feel we should be doing, and it's hard to just enjoy our old hobbies like we used to. if that's the case, taking a break can be good, but you can also use writing to try and cope with what's going on. (i do this a lot. you don't necessarily have to write about your situation, but you can do that if you want! i write very similar situations with some of my favorite characters - or sometimes i become a little evil and write pure angst to get through it. it helps!)

anyway, back to the tips!

1.) READ. i know this sounds a little silly, but sometimes we lose touch of how much we enjoy fics and literature because we don't have the time to enjoy others' works! reading your own share of fics can totally help, but it's okay if that doesn't apply to you or if it doesn't help at all. i become inspired by others frequently, so it's something that can assist me at times!

2.) try not to stress about it. i know this one is hard, but when we place a lot of pressure on ourselves to write perfectly, to have amazing works out to our followers all of the time, it really drains us of our drive and our inspiration, and it makes writing seem like a chore rather than something we're meant to enjoy.

3.) start out small. basically, try not to rush yourself into writing huge fics again. it's okay to do little blurbs or shorter one shots to get back into the groove of things.

4.) if you do have an idea that really inspires you, go for it! when i come up with an idea i absolutely love, sometimes the words are just easier to write, and i stress less about how im doing and have more fun! if you can do this, i totally suggest trying it!

5.) if you don't have any ideas, try pinterest or other sources. i have a boad on pinterest that's strictly writing prompts, and it's a great source for inspo and knowledge about writing! i know a lot of writing blogs exist on tumblr as well, so using those can be of great help too.

6.) check in with where your interests lie. this may sound strange, but part of the issue could be that you're trying to force yourself to write for characters or a series you no longer are passionate about (or are as passionate as you used to be). this is totally fine! maybe explore some new forms of media to write for, and incorporate that into your blog! (and don't stress, i find that the desire to write for certain series or media can come back in time! especially when/if you suddenly get more content for it!)

7.) if you're swamped with other things, don't force it! try not to stress even more about making your followes happy by giving them content. trust me when i say most of us would rather you enjoy what you post rather than feeling obligated to stress over something entirely and then post it. your health and happiness comes first, and when those needs are met it's so much easier to get back into the swing of things!

these are the main things that help me, i'm sure there are more but my brain isn't really working all that well right now. regardless, i hope that this helps you out anon! sending you so much love and positivity, you got this! <333

Troubled Water:

I think you're the third person to request this actually XD the way the fic is planned I had only intended to do Obi-Wan's POV in the final chapter.

However... I am considering writing one as a one-shot because I too would love to explore his POV for that scene (it's so fun!). I just don't want to take too much time away from Troubled Water and make people wait longer for updates, if that makes sense? So it may not happen for a while, but getting feedback and requests, knowing what people enjoy and would like to see, definitely helps me creatively so I will never discourage that. I just wanna be totally honest so no one is expecting it to publish right away or anything.

I can't say it enough though that the response this fic has gotten really overwhelms me in the best way. I've been in such a creative slump and dealing with imposter syndrome over the last couple of years, struggling to find my niche both in fandom and as a writer. Knowing that something I love doing brings even the smallest amount of joy to others makes all the mental and emotional work I put into it feel... valuable. So yeah not to get mushy on main but it really warms my heart and I just wanna say thank you for that. 💙

OKAY, last post overall and then I promise I'll make like- idk a pinned reference post among other things on my tumblr like I've been meaning to actually do for the longest time.

But ONCE AGAIN, I am subjecting @ikemendrew to the LAST of this personal Hell of a House project. Y'all are also welcome to ask questions about it as well, it was largely put together because we both play Sims and I use Sims for Floorplan references all the time when I finally actually do get around to drawing backgrounds or even writing backgrounds. The rest will be under cut of course to save everyone from the clogging of the dash.

[Floorplan] | [First & Basement Rooms] | [Second & Third Rooms]

Up to bat will be [Haha bat, love that for me right now.], please tell me that y'all got that painfully obvious joke and reference right there- Second floor Room #1.

This one was a little sporadic, redid it quite a fair bit, it was one of a few rooms where I literally spent more time undoing and redoing so much of it cause I could not for the life of me figure out how I wanted it to specifically look. Anyway, the hints are fairly obvious to the point. Def another one of my personal favorite rooms. I really do dig the quite quirky looking ones.

Room #2 for the Second Floor is rather simple and to the point, I legit could not think of much of a theme in full for it other than to just have it look fairly cozy and quiet. But a part of me is thinking of reworking it sometime at a later date, though the inspo/ref for the room's thematic didn't leave much for me to fully gauge and I say "How dare >:("

Room #3 for the Second floor, It's hard finding colors that aren't too obnoxiously pink that'll work well for the two that it's supposed to have a thematic to. But this is another room that I might go back and revisit at a later date and update the new pictures to this post for it.

But ain't it cute? Absolutely simple and cutesy and adorable? I think so. Especially with the lil teddy bear holding the hard in the one corner.

Now just casually moving onto the Third Floor rooms, and that wonderful one room that's a hybrid room between the third and second floor. I've always been a sucker for those kinds of rooms anyway-

Another fairly simple room to the point, that is the case for Room #1 of the Third floor, if you know then you know. And if you know, then you know who it's supposed to be themed after and if you know that you know that you know that I know. Then-

You vaguely get the picture with this room. I have my reasons, can you tell who I do and don't like with each little room theme thus far? Though the next room is the COMPLETE opposite of this one and it has me laughing.

Onto Room #2 of the Third floor! This one is absolutely my top tier favorite out of all the rooms I have done for this hell project of a house! The Documents strewn across the floor, the pictures on the wall, the classified wallpaper with the weird frame border! The Boxes and Hard drives and the Article display on the wall! The Spy gear on the dresser! Everything about it screams "This room is absolutely lived in!"

And you'll never guess the two that this entire room is themed on. Or maybe you will? Who knows! But it's totally my favorite of all the rooms I have done. 💕

LASTLY is the weird jointed room, with a few additional shots. It's my second favorite room by far, and as I've said I'm a COMPLETE sucker for these kinds of rooms. I know for a fact that they have an actual name but I cannot for the life of me remember at all!

But the last two shots you've already vaguely seen, but not the top two! There's no real set theme for this room other than it being one I'd personally would love to live in if I was allowed free reign to do what I wanted in terms of vaguely layouts.

There's two beds in between the top and bottom shots, but because it is a Murphy bed, I owe the Tiny Living pack my life for half of the furniture they have in it. But this room is meant to be shared by more than one person, trust me I know this.

Finally done with all those posts and Hey! Now I can just not look at it for awhile until I get very specific set up mods for it and actually start playing this lot.

Despite the fact I've started an extremely long and detailed multi-chapter fic, which I love dearly, it is no secret that I prefer one-shots. I have a hard time finishing fic and one-shots leave no room for incomplete fics when I get too busy! They also tend to do better for me somehow.

4. My new ideas... I get a lot of inspo from other people, from other fics, and from fanart! I thrive off of other people a LOT. Sometimes I do just love rewatching something and letting my mind wander tho

17. When writing becomes difficult for me (which it often does) I usually just try to center myself with things that make me feel better about it. Rereading the fic itself to remember why I loved it, talking to other people about the fic, trying to be patient with myself to actually have fun with it, re-reading the heart-wrenching comments left for me (SERIOUSLY I LOVE THIS SM), and most of all remembering that creativity is an ebb and flow and I won't always be creative!

27. My favorite part of writing has to be when I actually complete something and put it out into the word. Whether that is a chapter or a one-shot, when I finally get to share this thing that I've been doing with others... it's so good. I also love being able to see the surprise when I give them a twist. My least favorite part has to be.. well sometimes I get to a scene, right? I've done some research, have to do more (ugh!) which feels like a lot. Then when I finally get to writing it, I don't know where I want the scene to go what's going to happen next. Even the tiny details like how they're going to stand. Getting over those little hurdles takes me a while sometimes. All I want to do is get into the meat of the dialogue! Ugh!

33. I do actually want to be published some day! I have something I've been working on for a long, long time but I've never had the confidence to really get into or finish. Lately I hit a slump with it and it kind of bummed me out for a while. I'm glad I can write other things like LWH.

49. Rude reviews... unfortunately for me I don't have a big enough pull in order to get comments like that. Usually I have an overwhelmingly positive response to my writing. There was once when I was just starting to write... *shudder* they dragged me all over Twitter. It was a whole thing. I kind of deserved it.

58. What part of writing do I like the most. Hm. This one is tough. Going to be totally honest here, I only outline fics like LWH that have a lot of details I don't want to mess up and I barely use or stick to the outline. I guess if I had to pick it would be between brainstorming and reading the final product. I get caught up in brainstorming a lot because I have so many ideas so quickly and its usually main plots and relationships. I have so many ideas that die in this phase and it kind of sucks, but I love the rush that comes with new exciting ideas. Reading the final product would probably be my fave part though- not the editing. Just. I like to come back to my fic after a while, like a few days or a week or so, and then reread it. And its like I get to read that fanfic I was looking for that tickles all the right spots. Because I did that. (Sometimes, if Ive waited long enough, I forget what happens and its all new to me!!)

61. I guess I continue writing fics for two reasons. (Im so sorry I'm indecisive). 1- I love being able to share them with people and see their reactions. it gets me every time. 2- recently I've been really into writing for me. It isn't just about other people. Especially with LWH where I've done so much research, it feels like. Heres this thing. I want to do it to finish it, yeah, to share it, maybe. But I really wanna do it because I like seeing where it goes and I like being able to apply my research in interesting ways.

70. I am So embarrassed to tell people I write. Like if I know you IRL there is NO way I'm telling you anything about my writing. Maybe because of being on Tumblr? IDK. But online I'm way more willing and happy to share cause. you're never going to look me in the eyes and know I wrote smut fanfiction about Sans/Komaeda. You're never going to know about the terrible things I've written about. If I just had LWH on my page, maybe, since I'm mostly proud of that even if it is a little weird, but... I have so many others.
