So Obey Me Nightbringers is coming out soon and literally my only/main hope for the game is that it’s like 50% less grindy or at the very least compensates for the grind with more engaging gameplay.

Like I adore Obey Me and it’s story but the amount of walls I’d hit just to get through said story, and how hard I would always fall off for periods of time cause any “challenges” in between would just chalk up to preparing for who knows long just to spend several minutes watching characters dance around with the occasional swiping for hearts is crazy.

So here’s hoping they were more self aware when it came to making this title so it’d be more of a joy to actually get through. Cause it really is a good concept, most of the time though it just honestly felt like it was a very fleshed out visual novel that they just added “gameplay” to like last minute😂.

(And yes I know the nature of gachas as a whole tend to be grindy but in general I’ve really disliked it when any game I’ve played in the past just felt like a chore, kinda sucks the fun out of the narrative ya know?)
