Hyojin tightened his grip on your wrist after you insisted on leaving his side. Even though it was evident that he was fully awake, he started arguing that he needed more time and you certainly needed it too. The Day I Ran Into You

ONF Hyojin & Seungjun x gn! reader

Third Person POV

When (Y/n) got the news that they would be moving to Korea to study, they were very excited. A new adventure with millions of possibilities waiting for them. (Y/n) packed their bags as soon as they knew when they were leaving. (Y/n) had fixed a small apartment that wasn’t too close to the university nor was it too far away, it was a bit expensive but (Y/n) also found a job so it would be fine. (Y/n) was looking forward to meeting new friends and exploring a new city.

However, even though (Y/n) had done everything they could to prepare for this trip, they couldn’t stop their anxiety from ruining the experience. It turns out that making friends was way harder than (Y/n) had expected, throughout the first week of university, they hadn’t met a single person to hang out with. It seemed like everyone had already found their cliques, everyone but (Y/n).

The apartment might have been small but during the night as (Y/n) was feeling lonely, it seemed so vast. The walls span across the country, the roof nowhere in sight, the small night light only illuminating the shadows that dwell around the room.

During the start of the second week, (Y/n) was ready to give up, they were ready to pack up their things and return home. That was until they met two boys who finally made the anxiety shrink from a raging storm to a gentle breeze.

It was during lunchtime on Tuesday that (Y/n) ran into a guy with bright red hair, he was dressed in a dark green hoodie and ripped jeans. The guy was coming around a corner and (Y/n) didn’t see him so they ran right into each other, fortunately, it wasn’t more than a bump so no one got hurt.

“Oh, I’m so sorry. Are you okay?” The guy stopped and gave (Y/n) a bright smile while also looking them up and down to see if he caused any injuries or anything. “Um, no, no, um, yes, I’m okay, sorry for running into you,” “It’s fine! It was my fault too. My name is Hyojin! I’m an Astronomy student,” Hyojin reached out his hand for (Y/n) to shake, still a friendly and bright smile on his lips. (Y/n) reached out and took his hand, giving it a gentle shake. “Hi, my name is (Y/n), I’m a (subject) student,” “Are you a first-year student?” “Yeah,” (Y/n) felt a bit nervous to stand there and talk to Hyojin but he was very friendly and his aura calmed her nerves. “I’m in the second year, OH SEUNGJUN! Hey,” Suddenly Hyojin saw someone behind (Y/n) and he began shouting and waving to catch the person's attention. (Y/n) turned around and saw another guy who waved back as he jogged over to where Hyojin and they were standing.

“This is Seungjun, Seungjun this is (Y/n),” “Hello, nice to meet you!” “Hi,” “Sorry, I got caught up with (Y/n) so I forgot we were meeting for lunch, about that, am I keeping you from meeting up with your friends?” “No, not really, I kind of don’t have anyone to eat lunch with,” “Just today or always?” Seungjun asked, his eyes sparkled warmly. “Ya, you can’t just ask them that,” “It’s okay, um I guess always because well I’ve had a hard time finding friends here,” “Are you an exchange student?” “Um kind of, well, I’m not from Korea originally or anything but I’m enrolled for the entire program so not just one semester or so,” “Woah that’s so cool, I don’t think I’d have it in me to move to another country to study, not alone at least,” Seungjun said. The two boys were very easy to speak with, their energy made (Y/n) open up more too, daring to actually speak and show some of their personality.

“Hey, so um, lunch is almost over now, hehe, seems like we all will have to skip it from talking too much. Anyways, Hyojin and I usually have a little picnic on Thursdays after our classes, because some weeks we don’t have time to meet up before that so it’s sort of mandatory for us to do it. Wanna join us this Thursday? It was so nice talking with you so I’d at least love to get to know you more!” “I’d like that too, so what do you say?” (Y/n) took a deep breath, they never thought that them running into a guy with bright red hair could lead to friendship. “Yes, I’d love too,” “Give me your number, I’ll text you the details of when and where and what you should bring!” “Okay!” Hyojin handed (Y/n) his phone and let them add their contact to it. “See ya on Thursday if we don’t run into each other before then!” “Bye,”

Thursday rolled around and classes were over, (Y/n) was at a convenience store to get some drinks for them and the two boys as (Y/n) had been tasked with bringing drinks. (Y/n) was feeling excited to meet with the two nice boys once again, they thought they’d be nervous but they weren’t, probably because Hyojin and Seungjun had been so nice and welcoming. After buying some different drinks, (Y/n) began walking over to the location Hyojin had sent. When they got their, they searched for the bright red hair but couldn’t find it, (Y/n) felt sad, had they been played? Had the boys just been fooling around? That was until they heard two voices shouting their name.

“(Y/n)! Over here!” They turned a bit to the left and saw two boys jumping and waving their arms around as they shouted (Y/n)’s name. Hyojin no longer had bright red hair but now he had a light blonde color. “Hey, I was trying to look for you by your hair color but you changed it,” “Yeah, I got tired of the red, also my teachers didn’t appreciate it, said it was distracting,” As he said distracting he made a funny expression and used a mocking tone, making his two friends laugh. “Well, the red looked good on you but so does the blonde,” “Thanks, (Y/n)!”

And so the three sat in a park, talking about their lives both before meeting and the most recent days, (Y/n) didn’t feel like an outsider or like they had just met the two boys two days ago, no (Y/n) felt like they had known each other their entire lives. Finally, they could enjoy this adventure. Finally, that small apartment wasn’t vast and lonely, no it was slowly getting filled with happy memories, photos, trinkets, and moments from hanging out with the two guys. And Thursday picnics were no longer just a Hyojin and Seungjun thing, it was now a Hyojin, Seungjun, and (Y/n) thing.

[9:36 p.m] The lights flashed on quickly as the car took me to our house and I couldn't contain the anticipation of being close to him and receiving his caresses.

I could feel my body asking for him, for his engaging voice, for his laughter that filled the room, for his hands roaming my body without asking for permission, for his kiss that brought up forbidden thoughts and feelings, for his words of comfort and serenity. My body asked for his friendly shoulder, his tight hug and finally, for us to invent a perfect future but with minimal chances of becoming real.

When I arrived at the building, I quickened my pace and even though I felt my legs complain about the effort, I continued.

Entering the house, it remained the same. The furniture positioned in the same place that he said "to be perfect for Feng Shui", the mess left two days before were there, the dishes he washed were still without putting away. In the fridge, his favorite drinks remained unopened and the food still contained handwritten notes forcing me to eat them even though I wasn't hungry. The wardrobe held his clothes safely as if they were gems, and they were. And beside it, the mirror that used to admire him, as I did, now reflected the form of a newly widowed: exhausted, discontented, destroyed, alone and without purpose in life.

Seeing my image, with that typical funeral outfit of his culture, I felt the weight of the empty house weigh on my shoulders, I felt him there, in every detail, but his physical figure would never be seen again.

And even though I missed him and felt alone, blaming him for leaving me in this world didn't seem fair.

And living life without him doesn't seem fair either.

Summary: Though you tried avoiding participating, you get paired in the three legged race together with class president Seungjun.

A/N: Actually ONF are not on my writing list but I’m making an exception. It took me super long to write this (I’m super sorry about that), partly because I don’t really know ONF, but also because I originally went with an e2l plot and then decided to scrap the idea. The sports day idea came to me while I was reading webtoon, I hope you like it too :) - Admin J

The door to the classroom opened with a loud thud as the class president Seungjun walked inside, waving around a sheet of paper. The whole class got quiet, excited to hear what this was about.

"Everyone, sports day is in a week, so the teacher asked me to assign who will be participating in which sport."

Cheers and groans were going around the classroom equally after his announcement. Personally you weren't a fan of sports day, not because you weren't athletic but more because you didn't feel like embarrassing yourself in front of the eyes of the whole school. So you tried your best to avoid participating.

"Alright, so the last event would be the three legged race... anyone up for that?" It was quiet in the classroom, if this was a cartoon there would probably be a cricket sound effect. The class president sighed, "I guess I'll do it then, but I need someone to be my partner."

That's when it happened, one of your pencils decided to roll off the desk and cause a noise that had everyone looking at you. "Hey, Y/N isn't participating in any event yet!" Someone noticed and before you could even protest your name was already noted down next to Seungjuns.

His eyes lit up as he send you a smile, that you couldn't even return, still too perplexed about what had just happened. Then he walked back out to give the list to the teacher.

~*~ After classes were over, you were about to leave school grounds when someone called out for you. As you turned around you found Seungjun sprinting towards you. He halted next to you, gasping for air, "Y/N, since we're participating in the race together, should we practice some time?" You guessed he was right. Since you already had to participate it wouldn't hurt to practice.

"How about tomorrow after class? We can meet up on the sports field." You suggested and Seungjun agreed instantly, "I'll bring a ribbon to tie our legs. Can I walk with you for a while?" His question caught you off guard, but since you were walking in the same direction anyway you didn't mind.

"You didn't seem to be too excited about sports day, do you not like it?" Seungjun made small talk during the walk. You shrugged, "It's not that i dislike it, I'm just scared I'll embarrass myself in front of everyone." "Oh, but why would you? Sports day is about having fun, don't worry, no one will laugh about you if you make a mistake."

Well that was easy for him to say, everyone loved him. People would never laugh about him, you however would probably be like a clown show for them. "Remember Y/N, we're a team, so I'll make sure you don't have to be embarrassed!" Seungjun called out with a smile before your ways parted. ~*~ The next day you met Seungjun at the sports field as promised. When he tied your right foot together with his left, you realized how close the two of you had to be for this game. It got you nervous, but not uncomfortable, however you wondered how Seungjun was feeling about it.

"Alright should we walk up to the line there? We can start slow in the beginning." If he was affected by the close proximity he didn't show it at all. As you started practicing it went well in the beginning, but as Seungjun picked up the pace, you eventually stumbled over your feet and since Seungjun was connected with you it ended with the both of you toppled over on the ground.

"I'm so sorry." You profoundly apologized to Seungjun who was laughing. "Y/N, I'm fine, really. Are you?" He asked as he pulled you up with him, considerate of the fact that your feet were still tied together. "Yeah I'm fine." You dusted off your knee, which hurt a little bit, but it would only be a bruise.

"Ok, lets try again. How about I do this." he suggested putting his arm around your shoulder to stabilize the two of you, "this way I can make sure to catch you if you fall." It was sweet of him to ask for your consent. With this new strategy your running quickly improved and your tempo finally synched up. ~*~ When sports day came around you were beyond nervous. Sure thanks to Seungjun practice had gone well, but could you perform just as good against all the other competing teams?

"Hey Y/N, you ready?" Seungjun popped up behind you, draping one of his arms over your shoulder. He was still sweaty from participating in the soccer match and his cheeks were glowing red from exhaustion. "I guess, but are you?" handing him a bottle of water to refresh himself, he took it happily.

After drinking half of the bottle he used the other half to pour it over his head to cool down. You screeched when some of the water splashed on you as well and pushed him away lightly, while he laughed about your reaction.

Seungjun and you had gotten quite close due to training together quite a few times. You were sure that definitely helped in improving your tempo together as well.

"All students participating in the three legged race come forward!" a teacher announced through a megaphone. Seungjun and you moved forward, along with the other participants. Before the race could begin someone checked that your feet were tied together correctly.

As you were getting ready Seungjuns arm wrapped around your shoulder as practiced. The two of you nodded at each other, determined to win. After the kickoff you started running, not focusing on the other pairs around you, just as Seungjun had told you during practice.

You hadn't even realized you won until your classmates came storming over to congratulate you. However before they could reach you Seungjun had already embraced you in a bone crushing hug, "See! I told you Y/N! You won't be embarrassed!"

AlbeRose Slightly Headcanons : (mention of Albedo's scenario in Dragonspine, but, nothing about the story, just a cutscene)

~ They finally got together, after Mona, the Traveler, and even Kaeya respectively coached them, reassured them, and teased them for like, almost 3 weeks to go get a f***ing room

~ And this is at this moment that Albedo's behavior changed

~ He's always been the one caring the most about Sucrose's safety

~ But, at this rate, this guy's being protective, like really protective

~ Of course, he wouldn't invade Sucrose's personal needs and space, unless she wants him to, but that doesn't mean he lets her get in any danger.

~ And who would blame him, for protecting such an adorable girl like her?

~ But that is only in Mondstadt....... Because that's even worse in Dragonspine x)

~ I guess some of you kinda remember Pallad, the dude from one of the characters quests (Albedo's one to be more precise)

~ The freaking scene when he was suffering from the cold, and waking up, he pushed Sucrose away when she wanted to stop him. You can be sure that Albedo wanted nothing more than to run by her side, and kill that dumbf*ck.

~ Afterwards : Pallad is kind of really grateful for what Sucrose did for him, like bringing him back to the camp, and helping him finding warmrh with clothes and hot coffee? He absolutely wants to repay her, to which the sweet alchemist always responds with "It's okay, no need to!" with a tired laugh, and blushing slightly

~ He didn't seem to see that he was being really tacky and making the mint haired searcher uncomfortable

~ And, of course, our dear Chalky Boy noticed this, and went in their direction

~ Sliding an arm around Sucrose's waist, and fixing his gaze on this stupid moron

"A-Albedo....?"

-Sucrose, you do not seem to be at ease... Is everything okay?" he says while looking down at her.

~Pallad appaeras to slowly get the message ("Just leave her alone or I'll make you regret it")

"W-Well... I-I-I think I'll leave you be now! Bye Sucrose! Bye Mister Albedo!"

~ Sucrose sighs and leans her head on Albedo's shoulder

"Are you okay?"

- I...I'm trying to get more confidence... I could have tell him..."

- Hey, it's alright, if you ever need help , you can call me at any time. But, if you don't me to interfere, I won't, that's perfectly fine."

~ She smiles at him, and flopps her ears, feeling a' great amount of happiness blooming in her mind

~ Albedo lets a small laugh out and pats her onf the head

"Now, let's go back to the camp, we don't want those cute ears to catch a cold!"

You were very much familiar with the different royal families that existed, especially their young sons who more often than anyone else called on you. There were two that seemed to have taken a liking to you, often inviting you when they felt lonely. At first it was random maybe once every two months but then it became more frequent and the topics you’d talk about were a lot more invasive and deep. The two kingdoms had the two sons you were familiar with - Jaeyoon and Etion.

Well inside you’d bow, feeling slightly embarrassed under the king and queen’s judging looks before going upstairs. You did this thing on that day that you had done so many times now.

He was waiting on the bed, like he always did and smirked when he saw you enter. He was shirtless and looked very relaxed yet tensed at the same time as if he was awaiting your arrival.

You sat down at the end of the bed and you expected the normal thing to happen - he would use you however he wanted and after he’d cuddle you, pretending that he had a girlfriend and then you’d leave.

You started taking your top off.

‘‘ Wait ‘‘ he interrupted making you stop all movements very confused.

‘‘ Hm? ‘‘ you said.

‘‘ Not so fast ‘‘ his eyes changed, turned softer and more puppy like and you sat down again suddenly feeling curious.

Had something happened? Why was he acting so different...

It was then that another one of your frequent clients, Etion stepped out of the shadows in the corner of the room like a ghost.

You looked at Jaeyoon again but he showed no signs of surprise or anger that this stranger was in his bedroom, this was clearly planned.

You began to back away from them while casting quick glances to see where the door was. Your gut was telling you something was wrong but it would be dangerous to turn your back on these men right now.

Constantly your mind was contemplating just running for it until your fingertips finally felt the cold door handle.

‘‘ Y/n you can’t go out ‘‘ Etion warned calmly but you ignored him and pushed down with all of your weight.

No matter how much you push and pulled though, it wouldn’t move - he was right and now you were stuck here with them. Despair and fear started to kick in but you knew deep down that you had nowhere to run.

‘‘ Come ‘‘ Jaeyoon patted the bed and you walked there with a hung head and heavy heart. Sitting down silently you stared down at your hands and took a deep breath, a weak attempt at trying to calm yourself down.

‘‘ y/n ‘‘ Etion called again and you looked up meeting his eyes.

He had crouched down and was looking up at you with eyes filled with compassion and concern - it wasn’t adding up, how could someone so sweet looking do this to an innocent and helpless girl?

Tears were threatening to fall and your vision started to gradually get blurry. You heard Jaeyoon speak somewhere to your right by the headboard of the bed.

‘‘ We have decided to share you. After many months of fights and quiet disagreements behind your back, that is the conclusion we have come to ‘‘

Etion nodded and hummed softly but you felt anger flare up in your chest.

‘‘ Share me? What the fuck! I choose what I do with myself, I’m not some object you can just own ‘‘ when Jaeyoon spotted your fist clenching and shaking with anger he chuckled.

‘‘ I think you’ll find we can ‘‘

‘‘ Some people have more power than others y/n, you have to understand that ‘‘ Etion added.

God, he made you even angrier. It was different being upfront about your shittiness like Jaeyoon rather than the slow and painful guy you fall for that you afterwards find out was manipulating you. Those kind eyes of Etion would have fooled you any day if you didn’t know people like him. He was pure evil and even the sugarcoating and niceness he was trying to add to make you comply like a good little girl, would not fool you.

‘‘ No way ‘‘ you said and attempted to stand up but Etion easily pushed you down again as he rose to his full length towering over you.

‘‘ Sweetheart, I think you’ll find that everything becomes a lot easier if you stop asking why and just obey, okay? ‘‘ Jaeyoon whispered sickly sweet in your ear making your whole skin get covered in goosebumps.

He had moved closer and closer and you felt trapped between Etion and Jaeyoon.

There was no escape now. They were high-up families, you bet their parents even knew - and if you tried to run away they would always find you.

Hiring whoever they needed to bring their precious darling home to them.

They had claimed you.
