in baldur's gate 3 if you play someone who was raised in baldurs gate, they will know about the city's history and recognize some of the villains as people who supposedly died ~100 years ago, which is very funny to me. like imagine your city is being invaded by aliens and you try to get to the bottom of it, and you find out jack the ripper, the unibomber, and that guy you remember seeing on the news who held up a bank for 72 hours have all teamed up in a super secret satan club. also the first mayor of your city from back in colonial times is still alive and wants to fuck you.

percival was sifting through the pockets of a lifeless goblin. whatever they had been carrying would surely be more useful in the hands of the living. his mind was still bouncing back & forth in his skull, riding the high of a well-fought battle.

dishonesty was a useful thing. a way to knock their enemies off their balance, a valuable tool when used properly. solomon had displayed moments ago precisely how to do so. it didn't help him trust his new ally any more than he had before, but it added a bit of perspective & perhaps even delight.

" oh, i'm sure, " percy muses, not trying to hide the sharp smile that stretches across his features. he tucks a gore-covered trinket in a pocket inside of his armored coat.

in the heat of battle, percy could allow himself few thoughts beyond his target & a pulled trigger… but it hadn't taken him long to feel some sort of pull towards his new traveling party. he found himself catching them out of the corner of his eye, assuring himself that no one was hurt, or worse. logically, he knew they could all handle themselves. unfortunately, it was an instinct beyond logic.

percy had caught a glimpse of solomon doing something wicked, something smart. spitting a half-right spell was enough to throw off one of the goblins they were against, only to catch another cluster of the creatures off guard with a devastating spray of magic. it was swift & percy may have missed it if he blinked. ( he wonders, briefly, if the creatures had realized they were dying until they were dead. ) so he gives credit where credit is due.

"that was very impressive. " he admits, " i doubt they even knew what hit them. "

I did not bring Wyll to the burning building because I am playing the game mostly blind. so it is kinda funny in my head to be like.

which is a conversation Astarion and Lake had for literally no reason, but that I can't help but have little scenarios in my head. In this scenario Astarion learns that Lake is basically Chaotic Neutral. "May save your life, may steal your car." This may canonically not work for someone who is supposed to be a Selûnite Cleric but like. fuckin'. whatever. It was a fun goddess to be a cleric of and I admit I did not do a lot of research into her alignment and I suck at alignments and almost always play some form of Neutral. That's My Ninja Way, Bitch.

I should probably spend some time on the Forgotten Realms Wiki to figure out the lore I don't know for a bit. I am a fake DnD fan who knows more about Tal'Dorei than Faerûn. fuckin' oops. I'm sorry to everyone who knows me for every time I make a critrole reference especially since I care way more about the Mighty Nein than Vox Machina and Bell's Hells. which makes me like. The least relatable fan right now. Campaign 2 was my introduction to DnD and that's gonna hurt a lot of people's brain's and I'm real sorry 'bout that. One day they're animated series is gonna come out and it'll be easier to explain that. It was really good but there's just too much content to expect anyone right now to actually go watch and understand it...

I found it pretty distracting when it played in-game but now I can listen to it at leisure, and it's very good. Brilliantly written villain.

currently reading: The Stress of her Regard by Tim Powers. It's a reread, but it's been so long I don't remember much. It's about Lord Byron and Percy Shelley (and an OC) trying to shake inhuman vampiric attentions. I really like Tim Powers' historical fantasy novels.

Views on shit for writing: I reaaallly don't subscribe to the whole concept of proship/antiship. I take requests on what I'm comfortable writing.

I DO accept nsfw requests, but only within appropriate age ranges. I am comfortable writing age gaps but please dm me and i'll write something on a different site, same with any other typically "taboo" requests. I will not release a "will not/will write" list because that's just inviting problems.

If you'd like nsfw x a minor!character, please specify in the ask if you are also a minor. If there is no age, I will deny the request. I won't write underage smut for adults. I also probably won't push it past an M rating.

ProSeka: Honestly realistically most of these characters are minors, but like we don't all know teenagers aren't celibate. Vocaloids don't canonically have ages but since they're all kinda minor-coded, I'll just stick to M max for proseka.

Genshin - Qiqi and Klee, Sayu, and Yaoyao. Diona is NOT a minor, she runs a bar 🙄. Bennett/razor/fischl/anybody who uses the "teen model" I consider 18 at least.

9-1-1: I'll write any of the kids as a side accessory to their parents, unless you want a Gen piece about the kids. I love writing Chris & Denny :)

Dc: Ages are played with a lot in DC, so any characters that are generally accepted as minors/adults will be treated as such. I.e: Damian Wayne, Jon kent will be treated as kids unless you specify a universe where they're older (like when Older!Jon came to that one Earth)

BALDUR'S GATE 3:

The ONLY characters I won't write for this are LAE'ZEL and MINTHARA:

Minthara: killed her and saved the tieflings. No real interest in having her as a companion so I haven't seen any content with her.

Lae'zel: get back to me when she doesn't excuse slaughtering and colonizing entire towns lol. I'm native and the gith creche slaughtering the entire temple of lathander (as. As a cleric of lathander also) and she was like 🤷‍♂️ we live here now. I was not cool with that. I also really don't know how to write a romance for someone who is constantly combative towards the player.

"Maybe you're paranoid. " Percy muses, his words shrouded by a thin layer of sarcasm. they'd stumbled upon a crypt & Percy had spent no time in seeking out traps. not that he was worried about setting them off, no. he was more interested in dissembling them, seeing what parts he could accumulate. if he did set them off, he only had to be quick enough to get out of the way.

his attention was fixed on a thick wooden door, older than he was. maybe older than astarion ( as far as he knew, elves aged very differently after all. ) he'd recognized the lock as a trigger of some sort. he'd shoved his screwdriver into it's rusted keyhole & was poking around within.

in theory, it may have been smarter to ask Astarion for help. he knew very little about his new traveling companion, but it was clear he was light on his feet. perhaps he would be better at this sort of thing. but this was delicate work & Percy was unwilling to risk unknown hands. there were certain components he needed & would be very upset if someone broke them.

The lock he'd shoved his screwdriver into gave a sharp ' click ' & the silence in the room was tangible. removing it would determine whether he'd disarmed or activated the trap. a quick breath & he takes it out, waiting. he counts to five in his head before he allows himself to be satisfied straightening his stance with a bit of pride, " everything is fine, see? don't be dramatic. "

Dungeon Meshi / Delicious In Dungeon! I also just finished the Percy Jackson show (its pretty good). Was very surprised that it didn't pull me back into the pjo fandom, I won't lie. I think it's because all the characters are 12 and I'm a grown-ass adult now.

last movie?

Oh god? Uhh. I think it was 27 Dresses. It was fine? Watched it at a friends house drunkenly. It was made in that era of romcoms where the dude just stalks the girl and they play it off like its romantic. But it did manage to make me care about weddings. There was some real, genuine joy about how a wedding can be something special and I respect it for that.

So I had a crazy idea. I love Critical Role. Campaign one especially as it was the first Campaign I watched. Vex is my absolute favorite of Vox Machina and I love her and Percy so much. So while playing Baldur's Gate 3 I had a thought... what if I made Vex with Percy as her guardian?

Then I thought a bit more... What if I incorporated the Briarwoods?

What if I made a Vex x Delilah love child and combined Percy and Silas for the guardian? So I made a half elvel drow ranger. Drow made sense as a way to bring Delilah in and half elf because that's what Vex is. So pleaae say hi to Vel'ia

(Yes. I combined their names too. I think it sounds pretty.) And her hot Guardian. I made him look more like Percy, but with a Silas beard and one red vampire eye.

I know you only get one animal companion as a beast master ranger. But you're not locked into it with bg3. And hubs and I have elected to ignore that for our storyline with our tavs, specifically for Ren. Because Ren adopts animals like every chance she gets. She's unhinged about it. But I have 2 familiars and 2 animal companions for her;

Quothe the Raven: I had to keep the original name for them. Ren doesn't know what gender this bird is. But Quothe is a loyal companion she's taken care of since it was young. It takes delight in attack enemies and if it doesn't like you, it will start cawing very, very loudly. Quothe is an Asshole Bird.

Percy the Frog: The pet with the normal name, it is actually because Ren and Shepherd (hubs newest Tav we'll get into) decided he looked like one of her family's guards and wanted to roast him. Percy is a very happy but skiddish guy. Not much of a fighter but very sweet.

Soufflé the Bear: Ren's baby child. She raised Soufle from cubhood, under Halsin's encouragement when they found her and nursed her back to health after she'd been hurt. The inspiration from her name came from the fact that she keeps raiding the kitchens and kept getting into the food, specifically the more savory soufflés they'd have made. Very loving and cuddly, can tank a hit pretty well.

Rook the Wolf: Was named this because he'd keep stealing chess pieces whenever Ren and Shep played together. The smartest of the four animals, very patient and observant. Keeps calm until provoked. Is sad Shadowhearts scared of wolves; doesn't like Astarion.
