Cody was besotted with his ad'ika. She was so bubbly and full of energy. Her giggles ran through his battleship, out of place yet somehow right at home.

Cody carried her everywhere, her sling made out of his Obi Wan's robes and his blacks. Their combined scents seemed to calm her better than anything, and cody's favourite thing was going about his day with his sweet baby strapped to his chest, cuddly and happy.

Cody never found out what had made her sonagressive before, but that doesnt matter now. She was a different person. Would become a different person.

Obi Wan joined him on the bridge. His Ad'Ika immediatly reaching out for him.

Cody took the sling off and handed it to Obi Wan.

'You know, she should really he walking around more. I dont think you've put her down all day' Obi Wan commented, refusing the sling and instead opting to hold their daughter himself.

'I know, but, I just dont think its very safe for her. In this room alone I see multiple ways she could hurt herself. And this is one of the safer ones. Besides, I dont mind holding her' Cody smiled at the sleepy baby, gently pulling her balled up fist from her mouth, and cooing when she wrapped it around his finger, pulling him towards her.

'Cody, she MUST learn to walk on her own. If she doesnt build up strength at this age I fear she may never gain full mobility as she gets older!' Obi Wan pressed.

But all Cody heard was that she'd always need him.

'Would that really be such a bad thing?' Cody asked, taking his ad'ika back from the irate Jedi. Cody sounded far too serious for Obi Wan's liking.

'Are you mad? Of course it would be. Put her down Cody. She'll be alright'

Cody sighed. Not liking this one bit. He was convinced there was nowhere safe for his ad'ika but tucked up against his or Obi Wans chests.

However, Obi Wan did have a point. Kix and the 212th's medic had also advised that she spent less time in her sling, as most babies her age needed the exercise to not only build strength and stamina, but to improve their mental capacity and immune system.

The last thing Cody wanted to do was bring harm to his daughter. But, she was just so SMALL. A tiny thing like her could easily find harm on a battleship, especially theirs.

Waxer and Boil had accused him of trying to babyproof the ship and maybe they were right. But he's a father now. Worrying about his child is what hes supposed to do.

Obi Wan took his outer robe off, laying it down on the floor.

'Will this ease your mind, Commander? Put her down on this and let her crawl around.'

That was an order.

Cody carefully lowered her down onto her buirs robe, and she happily gurgled and giggled, wriggling around in the soft, familiar smelling material.

Obi Wan and Cody had expected her to wriggle. Had expected her to roll and crawl and maybe even tumble around a bit.

What neither of them expected however, was for their ad'ika to stand on wobbly, unstable legs and walk off, at a pretty decent pace. The two men were stunned.

So much so they didnt really see the drop in the floor that led to the lower deck on the bridge before she fell down it.

Cody was on her in an instant, Obi Wan close behind. The clone scoped up his ad'ika, who was crying, although she didn't appear to be harmed.

'I told you this wasnt a safe idea!' Cody hissed, before trying to calm his bawling daughter.

'Shhh, shhh ad'ika. I know, I KNOW. It must hurt. But your alright. I'm here, buirs here.'

Cody layed kisses all across the infants head, her crying easing off into hiccups, then turning into giggles as Cody blew a raspberry on her wet cheek.

Obi Wan stepped up to Cody, laying a gentle hand under the girls head and taking a look at her, eyes peeled for any sort of injury.

'Cody, there is no injury-'

'This time. You saw how easily she fell down. What if she does it again and gets hurt?'

'I know you fear for her safety, but the truth is she was going to fall down regardless. That's just how they learn. The toddle, fall, cry, get back up and fall down again. She was just scared and shocked. Like us'

Obi Wan ran a gentle hand over his ex padawans hair. She tilted her head back and just stared at him with sweet smile, and a yawn.

Cody melted.

'Are you sleepy little one? Come on, let's go take a nap. You can snuggle up righybnext to me and Obi Wan.

'Cody sent him a look and Obi Wan sighed. He was ashamed to admit, even to himself, that more often than not he found himself enjoying this role he was forced into. Cody had don this against both his and her wills. Knowing hebwouldnt leave his padawan behind to escape, but, hed never seen her so carefree, or Cody so happy. This sentiment was becoming alarmingly frequent as of late, and Obi Wan found himself actively shutting down daydreams about his captor and their life together.

Picking up his robe Obi Wan followed Cody to his bunk. He could only help one thing at a time and right now, his youngling needed a break from her doting, helicopter 'Buir'.

Maybe the 501st could lend a hand....

Platonic Yandere Cody x child reader

He probably sees this kid and has hysterical flashbacks to being a naive child that boarded a pirate ship by accident. Whether or not the kiddo resembles him in any way is superfluous.

He just has a burning need to make sure that what happened to him doesn't happen to them. He doesn't regret meeting Luffy and his time under Alvida taught him a lot, but it very much could have just as easily not happened, thank you very much. And he will make sure this kid is safe.

He at least has plenty of resources to ensure that they are safe and well cared for, which is way more than what he had growing up. And hey, now Garp is a great-grandfather... Or maybe just has another grandchild? Depends on how emotional he gets over it and how Koby feels about being a dad so young... and isn't that nice?

I do write GN and for males, but I'm more used to writing feminine qualities and anatomy which is why I usually turn to them when gender or pro nouns aren't specified!

Its very rare for me to delete requests, but when I do its if I'm uncomfortable with writing about the subject. Also keep in mind that my tumblr likes to glitch out a lot and it sometimes eats requests, meaning they don't go through or pop up in my inbox. That’s what happens most of the time so you may have to send it a second time! I may not write specific requests because I do not feel like I can portray them accurately.

My style of writing:

- I prefer to be quite informal with my writing, often including jokes and personal comments in the pieces I make

- I also like putting text colour, italics, bold and small letters since I feel like that adds more character to the piece

- If you don't indicate (in x reader fics) what stage of the relationship the reader is in with the character(s), I will automatically assume they are already dating

- There is currently no character limit, but don't go silly with it lol (10 is probably a good amount but it depends)
