-un personaje de jojos recientemente introducido llamado Paco. En resumen es un tipo alto y musculoso que anda por la calle sin remera y con los ojos todos manchados con delineador. Es un forro y encima medio pelotudo pero en el fondo es buen tipo. Le encanta afanar cosas y es mejor amigo de un chico de quince años que lo ayuda a vender droga. Su superpoder es que puede agarrar cosas con la espalda. En mi humilde opinión este tipo es argentino porque su apellido es literalmente Laburantes y también porque es muy gracioso y lo amo.

La masculinidad tóxica abunda a veces pero la lección siempre es que ser campy le salva a uno la vida, lo cual es una lucha de todos los días acá en Latinoamérica.

Yo tambien vengo a nominar a los jojo. Siempre traen desmadre a donde sea que vayan y estoy segura que si alguna vez se hace reunión familiar, van a terminar en puras broncas por los terrenos/ofensas personales que ni al caso. Aparte se ven como que por cualquier cumple tiran cohetes 💁‍♀️

Ideas for Black!Reader Fic

I am going to try my hand again at writing. And I wanted to share some people and fandoms that I love. If you don’t know these shows/actors/franchises/movies/streamers I’m putting you on! For the following:

Johnny Depp- All his characters

Cameron Monaghan- I know that there are fics out there but it’s only always his Jerome/Jeremiah roles never just him or Cal Kestis

Anthony Carrigan- I loved Anothy as Victor Zsasz

Paul Dano- There are Riddler fics but not as many for his other roles

The Entire Cast of Hawaii Five-0 (2010) - Don’t even get me started on how good this show is! And the cast looks amazing!

Chicago Med/Fire/PD- These shows have so much potential for fanfic storylines!

The Game (2006)- Has great potential for slow burns and fluffs.

Star Wars franchise (1977-present) - I know I said Cal Kestis but there are also other characters like Anakin, Luke, Obi Wan,Boba Fett (etc.)

NCIS franchise- I honestly love this franchise and it’s characters!

Peacemaker - Don’t get me wrong I love Adrian Chase but I want to see just as much Peacemaker x black!reader fics because 2 words… JOHN CENA

MAWS- New animated Superman show! Love!

Smallville - The entire cast is hot! Tbh I fell hard for Tom Welling when I was younger when he was in Cheaper By The Dozen. Plus they literally whitewashed Vixen. COME ON! Vixen is a black female hero btw. She was also with Jon (Green Lantern) at one point.

Justice League/Justice League Unlimited (2001 and 2004)- I mean I literally can’t find any Jon Stewart x black!reader fics and he was with a BLACK WOMAN!

Warner Bros Franchise (minus the looney tunes & space jam)- There are lots of popular franchises that this company has from Fast & Furious to The Matrix!

Peaky Blinders- Saw a Tommy shelby x arms dealer black!female reader fic on my previous account but even then I couldn’t find it again on that account. So it’s gone with the wind. And the cast (i.e the actors and other characters they’ve portrayed). Example: Cillian Murphy as Johnathan Crane.

DCEU- Another franchise that pushes its other characters to the side. For example, Hush (Thomas Elliot) is literally the epitome of Bruce Wayne gone bad!

Ross Lynch- There are so many roles that Ross did so well in Like Teen Beach Movie or Sabrina.

Highschool Musical Franchise (2006- present ) I’m not just talking about HSMTS (2019), I mean even further back than that. I don’t see any Troy Bolton x black!reader and that’s crazy. I also can’t find any Zac Efron x black!reader

FANFIC WRITERS APPRECIATION POST 🥳🥳🥳

It’s me again 😇, i said i was doing one every month and i meant it. (Hopefully this will spark some of you to make a post like this too). Same as before this will have what i read from them but many of them do make other amazingly good content so be sure to check that out. Also some writers may also be on the other posts (Theres five of them!!!!) (probably everyone from that post will be here again)

Hi! It’s me again, i’ve done this for about five months now i think (can’t really remember) Basically i’m here to remind you how much you writing means to all of us. Writing is fun to do and it should always be something you do because you love it, and we love it too!! I read very often it’s probably what i do all day most days. I truly truly do appreciate all you guys do for us readers! You don’t have to write but you do and it means a lot. It’s really wonderful that you all work to expand on what we were all originally given. You all do such good work at making us feel through your fics. I’ve laughed and cried and felt like i’ve lived through hundreds of lives through your work. You are all super amazing ♥️♥️♥️

Most of us write for fun because it’s honestly amazing to put out fanfics for us and you all and it means so much when you show your support by commenting or re-blogging or doing both just so we all know you like our work!!!

I LOVE YOU ALL SO SO MUCH KEEP DOING YOU!!! THANK YOU FOR FEEDING US OUR FANFICS!!! The Spooktacular Halloween Movie Challenge: October 16, 2023

Haunted Mansion (2023)

A single mom named Gabbie hires a tour guide, a psychic, a priest, and a historian to help exorcise her newly purchased mansion after she discovers its previous inhabitants from the other side.

Okay, y’all. First movie from this year, and it’s one that I was waiting to watch until this month. I should preface that I’m not a big Disney head. I enjoy their movies, but I don’t lose sleep if I don’t catch every new release. I’ve been to Disney World. It was fun but way too expensive. I’d have just as much fun at Six Flags for a fraction of the price.

That being said, I loved this movie. It probably helps that New Orleans is my favorite city in the US and that this sort of upbeat ghoulishness is my bread and butter (remember my adoration for the Addams family). Whatever the reason, it charmed me. The characters were great, the visual effects were so fun, the music always put me in the right mood, and, best of all, it was giving me those 90s and early 2000s Disney Channel Halloween movie vibes that I get nostalgic for, a la Under Wraps, Halloweentown, Twitches, etc. (I’m not forgetting that Eddie Murphy’s Haunted Mansion was in that era too. I just don’t remember it well, and it would require revisiting before I could discuss it)

They could have left it there, but I actually loved the additional poignant life lessons they dropped in about self-confidence and how to deal with grief and the process of moving on. Plus, how could you not look at that cast line-up and know this would be a fun one? If you haven’t gotten around to it yet, ‘it’s the season!

Hi Nancy! Just wanted your take on this - I know you’ve probably touched on this a while ago, but for the life of me I can’t remember. Regarding Red One - Amazon hasn’t given a release date have they? I ask because I was watching something on Prime last night and saw a trailer for an Eddie Murphy Christmas movie (done by prime). That movies set to release on 12/10 it looks like. So I’m curious about whether red one would release this Christmas too? Plus if they’re putting out teasers/trailers for that Christmas movie, couldn’t they do the same for RO? Thoughts?

As far as I can tell, and other people I talk to can tell, no, Prime has not set a release date for Red One yet. And, yes, several of us were having discussions about how this Eddie Murphy holiday movie already has a release date and is seeming to get early promo, including a trailer. It's leading some of us to assume that Prime has pushed Red One back to 2024 due to the effects of the SAG strike on current filming and scheduling. However, this is all just our assumptions at play.

Hawkins' Finest | Eddie Munson x Gn! Reader

You sigh, letting your head fall between your bunched-up legs. The world seems to spin around you as you close your eyes, enveloping your view in total blackness. Your thoughts are fuzzy and incoherent, they lack structure or any real meaning, and you begin to daze out to the muffled sound of Eddie Murphy's Party All The Time coming from the house behind you.

You can feel a presence around you, but you ignore it, opting instead to stay curled up against your legs. Plus, you aren't sure if there's anything really there, or if it's just a figment of your now alcohol- driven imagination.

"Hey," You hear a voice, one that's not quite familiar, one you can just barely place. You lift your head from your knees, and peel your eyelids up from their lidded spot around your eyeballs. Your vision blurs and you widen your eyes, trying to make out just where you are.

"Huh?" You mumble, your eyes suddenly squinting, unable to stay open for long.

"Y/n?" The voice asks, and you can sort of make out where it's coming from. Slowly, your head turns towards the voice, and you can make out a pair of legs, clad in ripped jeans, standing next to you on the porch steps. You lift your head upwards to get a look at who the jeans belong to. Through the hazy view of your intoxicated gaze you can make out a thick halo of dark curls that surround a tall figure.

"Eddie?" You ask, despite your vague acquaintance with Hawkins' resident "freak" you'd recognize that head of hair absolutely anywhere.

"You alright?" He asks, peering down at your slumped-over figure.

"What are you doing here?" You ignore his question, more interested in why the town's greatest social pariah was at a house party thrown by Jason Carver himself.

"Apparently even Hawkins' finest need to stoop down a few levels when they need some drugs for a party," Eddie chuckles.

A small smile appears upon your lips at Eddie's comment,

"Hawkins' finest?" You giggle, "Does that include me?" You throw your head back lazily to catch a better look at the man above you.

"I mean, you are here, aren't you?"

You sigh, your smile slowly dissipating as an obscured recollection of tonight's events rumble around your brain.

"I guess," Your head falls back down to your knees, the weight of your head causing a strain in your neck against your lazy movements.

"You guess?" He asks. The wooden step creaks softly below Eddie as he bends down, sitting so he's level with you. You sit up from your position against your knees, feeling your exposed shoulder brush against the leather of Eddie's jacket- confirming your close proximity to him. "Something's got to be wrong if you're actually talking to me in public."

You turn your head to the side, looking back at Eddie,

"Don't say that," You whine, "Makes me feel bad." Your bottom lip pokes forward. It's true you and Eddie Munson weren't exactly friends per se, but, you'd been closer to him than you'd ever cared to admit to any of your friends. Well, close wasn't quite the word for it- he was your weed dealer.

"No, I get it, I'm just your drug dealer." Eddie chuckles.

"You're not just my drug dealer." You scrunch up your face, unsure of where you were going with your sentence because sober you would beg to disagree- Eddie Munson was indeed just your drug dealer. "I-mean, you're cool." You shrug.

"Did thee Y/N Y/L/N just call me, poor, outcast, freak, Eddie Munson cool? Wow, truly, it is an honor." Eddie's sarcastic proclamation is full of theatrics as he throws a hand over his leather-clad chest, scrunching the fabric that sits above his heart.

"Shut up," You giggle, shoving his shoulder lightly.

Eddie's smile slowly fades and his eyes train on yours- his stare against your own figure is intense and you struggle with whether you should feel secure or uneasy underneath his careful glare. "Seriously," He starts, "What's wrong- why are you out here?" He pauses for a moment, his eyes quickly drifting away from you leaving a moment of relief before they fall against you once more, "Is it Andy?" He asks.

Eddie was well aware of your relationship with one of Hawkins' star basketball players- after all you'd confided in him during your first-ever deal that the reason you'd copped from him was because Andy had been stressing you out far too much, and you needed something to deal with the pressure.

"Isn't it always?" You try to force a giggle between your slurred words, hoping to mask your upset.

"Did he do something?" Eddie asked.

"No-" You try to defend- "He just- he says some stupid shit when he's drunk sometimes, and I'm just- I'm just sensitive that's- that's all."

Eddie's mouth begins to curve, a barely-noticeable pout forming on his dusty pink lips, extending an offer of sympathy.

"I'm sorry," He consoles, "What did he say?"

You scrunch up your face, shaking your head, "I- I don't want to repeat it,"

Eddie nods, accepting your discomfort, deciding to not push you further into it.

"I'm sorry, Y/n." He repeats. "Do you want anything? I can take you home if you need-"

You think for a moment, but all logic has already left your brain, instead all your left with is emotion, emotion that your unsure of what to do with.

"I could just use a hug." You admit. If you were sober, perhaps you'd be horrified at your asking of Eddie Munson to comfort you in this time, but drunk you- drunk you had always been better at emoting.

"Sure," Eddie nods, you can sense there's some surprise in his voice, but he doesn't seem to let it phase him, instead- he places an arm around your hunched-over shoulders, and pulls you closer to him. You lean against Eddie's shoulder, the leather of his jacket squeaking against your cheek as you nuzzle it into him. Eddie reaches around with his other arm, wrapping it around you as well, fulling enveloping you in his embrace. There's an air of warmth about him- one that seems to bring an instant feeling of tranquility to you. You can smell the lingering smoke of cigarettes stuck to his hair, and a fading leather smell clinging to his jacket- the two smells on anyone else would be mundane, but for some reason, the smell of Eddie filled your nose and went straight to your brain clouding it in a mist of euphoria.

You lift your head slightly, letting your eyes rest on Eddie's face. You give him a small smile, just a quick extension of your appreciation. You breathe out a heavy sigh, and lift your hand to Eddie's face, letting your intoxication-fueled ideas get the better of you- your hand swipes from Eddie's cheek to his hair, your fingers brushing through his somewhat unruly locks. A small smile dusts against Eddie's face, one of apprehension,

"Has anyone ever told you, you have like really pretty hair?" You ask, continuing to smooth over his soft brown curls.

"Wow," Eddie breaths out, a grin of complete amusement finding itself on his mouth, "You are drunk!" He laughs.

"-M'not," You whine, dropping your hand from Eddie's hair.

"No?" He raises an eyebrow.

"I might have had a few shots." You admit coyly, frowning before hiding your face against Eddie's shoulder.

"I could tell."

Newest cold take I saw today: someone got offended because Brendan Fraser wore a fat suit for The Whale movie and said they’d rather have a “plus-sized” actor play the part because fat suits are apparently evil and should be forbidden. Mind you, the character is supposed to be 600lbs.

Don't think there's too many 600 pound actors out there, limited number of roles for them to begin with so that would stand to reason anyhow.

It's also called acting for a reason.

Next up I suppose we'll need to cast a real cannibal for the "silence of the lambs" reboot.

I recall people getting mad at Leo for how well he played his character in Django Unchained 'he was too comfortable using all the different racist language' was one of the big ones.

They're actors, they're acting, and sometimes the person who can play the part best isn't going to be the physical ideal for that role and it's it Wolverine then Hugh Jackson will get ripped again, if they need to be 600 pounds either Christian Bale will consume nothing but bacon fat and butter for a year to get up to that, or Brendan Fraser will opt to not destroy his body and wear a fat suit instead.

Eddie Murphy is on the list a few times, including playing Saul the Jewish barbershop customer, certainly they could have found a Jewish person to play the part right.

Or maybe the writer, director, and production company know what they're looking for for their movie and it's as simple as that.

People need to chill and let actors do their jobs, conversely actors need to chill and do their jobs and shut up about things they don't know about as well.

But that's a different post.

SO did a Haunted MAnsion double feature

I watched both the 2003 Haunted Mansion and the Muppet Haunted Mansion,because theres a new Haunted Mansion film on the horizon .Gonna give quick thoughts on both

Haunted Mansion 2003 is a nostalgic fave,but I get the complaints by Mansion fans .As a fan of spooky comedies ,I think its a fun spooky family film :The zombie scene is scary ,Jennifer Tilly is pretty funny as Madam Leota , Wallace Shawn is always a plus ,production design and cinematagrophy are beautiful,I think the ballroom scene is the best use of Mansion iconagraphy,and the always amazing Terrance Stamp is PERFECT as the villainous butler Ramsley .as for the big issues,I get what the film is trying to do be a throwback to oldschool horror comedies where ya take a comedian and put him in a spooky setting (Which is a shame they werent able to get Don Knotts as the caretaker ,as I think it wouldve made that clearer ,been perfect casting and a fun call back to the fact he did a spooky comedy,Ghost and Mr Chicken ) but Eddie Murphy while I maintain works half the time with some funny lines,and I think he is mostly good ....Is hit and miss here and I really think hes not great in the sentimental moments .I also think most the Mansion iconagraphy,feels really forced ,and the movie feels like a generic haunted house movie ,and the fanservice scenes feel like just detours.I also dont quite understand the ghost rules but I can usually overlook that .Oh and Mansion fans,while I think the ending works....I get your frustration .So I personally like the movie as a spooky comedy ,but as an adaptation of the ride its not great,but I do think its not bad and is underrated

Muppet Haunted Mansion.....I dont love it at first but it did grow on me and overall enjoyed it .I think the big song is great ,Taraji P Henson and Will Arnet are perfectly cast,Dave Goelz is great as always as Gonzo ,The Old GOnzo puppet is genuinely disturbing (My lil Sibling said "I hoped they burnt that thing "),and while I prefer Gonzo and Rizzo,Pepe grew on me despite not being a Pepe fan .I also think it used Mansion iconography really great .....My issues are the begining is slow ,I dont think the celeb cameos work ,it was made dueing the pandemic so it doesnt look great and....Its a personal gripe....Why in this HALLOWEEN special are none of the guest stars spooky related ?? I did end up liking it ,but I dont love it

Which was the first episode you ever watched? This immediately made you a fan?

Or which is your fav episode and why?

The first episode I remember watching was back when I was around five years old (I think). I was watching it on Cartoon Network in one of the few times I got to go on the channel (my mom wasn't a fan of CN or Nickelodeon, so at some point when I was 7 she scared me into avoiding the channels alltogether lol I was very dramatic growing up).

It was the episode "Hot Buttered Ed". The details of the episode REALLY stayed with me. The fact that Kevin took their spot by the lake, the depiction of the heat, the Eds transversing the top of the rocky hill, the way they get sunburnt at the end. Even though I wasn't an avid watcher of the network or the show, this really stuck with me! Seeing the episode now, I still enjoy it a lot. I like seeing the Eds camping in their yard. Very cute : )

Another episode I remember viscerally is the beginning portion of "Mirror Mirror, on The Ed." Specifically, the scene of the kids playing spin-the-bottle. The part where it is Jimmy's turn and Kevin dares him to give away his turn was so funny to me. Every time spin-the-bottle comed up as a subject, I think about that scene and Jimmy's "aw :(" of disappointment.

Neither of these episodes made me a "fan" though. Honestly, what made me a fan was when I decided I should watch the show on a whim and started on "The Edtouchables". It was so funny and down-to-earth in a really refreshing way despite it being now 25 years old (happy birthday!!!) I rewatched it some time ago, and it is still is really fun. Learning about it in tandem with how the show was pitched is so interesting to me as someone who wants to go into the field of animation.

As for the other question, selecting a favorite episode is super difficult. I love so many. I guess "Rent-a-Ed" is the one I rewatch the most. I just find the whole concept super funny, and the way the punchline expands is so good. Love it when the Eds doing one unconsequential thing leads to a bigger problem that ends with huge destruction. If I had to choose an episode to introduce the show to people, it would probably be that one. Other episodes I like are "Ed, Ed and Away" and "Don't Rain on My Ed". I like it when all three Eds are trying to reach a goal, and Murphy's Law is enacted. It is really funny. I dig how the show uses it as a way to explore the neighborhood. It's amazing how such a small location can feel so big depending on the context. "An Ed is Born" is also both narratively and technically fantastic. The storyboarding and cinematography are so complex, and it deepens a bit of Eddy's relationship with Bro. There is a lot to enjoy. (Plus, as a film buff, it tickles me seeing kids making home videos. I love that shit) Yeah, this is a huge list, sorry. It is really hard to choose. Hopefully, I can narrow it down soon.

As much as I like to draw mushy wholesome romance between two characters...I love horror to an almost unhealthy extent. It is my favorite genre of anything honestly (I have spent days binge watching horror films back to back to back on Netflix, even the bad ones)

I've never really done a recommendation list before for anything so I can only list my favorites that I could spend a day rewatching no problem. I also need to add that I am a gore hound and the gorier the film or series is, the higher my chances of enjoyment so please keep this in mind.

My FAVORITE horror films are:

Brain Dead/ Dead Alive: I need to state that this film basically has EVERY trigger in it and did not age well AT ALL in terms of some of the jokes. However, having watched it when I was young, it was a crucial part of me becoming a horror fan and I love this trainwreck dearly...for its special effects. Mainly just the special effects. I do appreciate how the film is kinda split in two. The first being funny zombie comedy stuff and the last half being...well a shit ton of blood and gore. Also it has stop motion in it at some points which I love as someone who also adores stop motion.

The Final Destination Franchise: Not recommended for the paranoid but I love this 2000s ass film franchise. The premise is creative as well as the deaths. I also love that Death is super petty in this series and refuses to just kill someone up front and instead chooses the Rube Goldberg approach to offing people. Plus the original voice actor for Kratos pops up in one of the films which is a bonus if you are a God of War fan like me. If I had to pick a favorite out of the franchise, I'd say it's a tie between the first and the last. HOWEVER, the last film is oh so more rewarding if you watched the entire franchise-I will not spoil why but just trust me.

Candyman: The original film specifically. It's so interesting how the antagonist is a living myth and is so poetic in his words that sometimes I kinda forgot he was the villain. I love his design and the fact this film deeply touches on certain issues and not just being focused on being a typical slasher.

The Haunted Mansion: Yes the...original Disney live action film with Eddie Murphy. I count it as a horror film because it was genuinely scary to me as a kid. There's still some horrific stuff in it now. I mean, you got the opening credit scenes leading up to a dude straight up hanging himself, the zombies looking like straight up corpses, A DUDE GETTING DRAGGED TO HELL. The music still haunts me to this day.

Nope: A recent addition but this is def one of the best horror films I've seen. It is filled to the brim with so many details that you don't catch on the first watch. Plus, the "spaceship" is such a well designed element that I still think about how it works and how smart of a concept it was. I love the protagonists in this film as well and the bit of humor sprinkled in. I actually enjoyed this film so much I read the script for it since it was online (which I've never done for any film before). Cannot recommend this film enough.

Us: This film is just a level or horror that I only feel when reading Junji Ito stories. The idea of a doppelganger never scared me until this film because the entire concept is your other self hunting you down to kill you. There's a murder spree scene in this film that is so well framed and done because you see both everything and nothing at the same time because of the camera angle. The Tethered are underrated as monsters.

The Thing: The old one with the husky dog. The original Among Us and the best "WHO THE FUCK IS THE KILLER" film. The special effects are amazing and the fact that the audience cannot tell who the alien is is so great because we feel just as scared as the crew members. Plus...the alien absorbing people is just straight horrific.

This list is getting long and I have so many horror films I got jingling around in my brain but my last one is Pet Semetary. I was gonna put Poltergeist, which is also a favorite and is the only paranormal film I enjoy (I am not a big fan of ghost movies but that's because I love gore and carnage), but I kinda...don't really see it as a horror film. It certainly is one but there's so many cute and funny moments and it's kinda more whimsical than scary to me.

ANYWAYS BACK TO PET SEMETARY-There's an unsettlingness to it that I can't really explain. It's not just the dead pet aspect, it's just the vibes in it. The happy music becoming twisted as well as the always foreboding mood where you know something bad is gonna happen. There's a couple things that are left up to the audience's imagination but there's enough context that you just KNOW something terrible happened (like that ending). Plus, the little kid actor going on a killing spree is...kinda funny. He's just a little fella with a knife having a good ole time before bedtime.
