Instead of queueing I’m gonna work on the executions for my Dangan Ronpa ocs

79th Class, “Warm Smiles”:

+ SHSL Mortician, Narciso Otsuka Moreno: “Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust” - because hes cremated alive lol!! The scene starts out with Narciso chained to the floor a church by the neck, a pipe organ in front of him (the music for the execution reflects this by having a pipe organ motif). The walls of the church fall away, revealing fire, and a cage with thick bars that obscure the view of Narciso arises around our poor mortician. Fire travels in a spiral pattern to the cage, quickly engulfing the boy. The cage spins, and the fire grows bigger, hotter, until white. Suddenly, the cage and fire stops. The pipe organ shifts, it’s pipes dislodging before lowering into the cage. Noises imply the ashes are being sucked up. The camera follows the pipes up to an urn - which is promptly launched into the air, and smashed by Monokuma, wielding a bat whilst blindfolded.

We see dust clouds floating down to the traumatized students for optimal morbidness.

-/+ (killed someone, was killed in turn before execution) SHSL Psychic, Homare Hitarashi: “Self-fulfilling Prophecy: - Homare is sat before a crystal ball, depicting herself looking into a crystal ball. Suddenly, the vision within the crystal ball is engulfed by flame. Horrified, she leans closers, watching the ball for answers - oblivious to the time bomb taped to the other side of the crystal ball.

Guess what happens next.

- SHSL Virologist, Daishi Gushiken: “Lethal Injection” - All I know is it involves giant needles.

+ SHSL Junior Justice, Masao Wakuri: I’m not sure yet. The first idea to come to mind involves giant gavels, but that doesn’t seem original enough for me. Then comes the idea of harpies tormenting him, using his whole “avenge my father” goal to reference Orestes, but... I wasn’t sure how to spin that. So I’m still at the drawing board for him.

- SHSL Actor, Miwaku Murata: “Curtain Call” - Miwaku is caught in a sword fight on stage with Monokuma. As this happens, bags of sand drop to the stage around him, as a Monokuma wearing a Phantom of the Opera mask cuts their ropes. Soon, this evolves to lights and the catwalk itself. Despite this, Miwaku’s character prevails, and Monokuma’s character is slain! The scene over, Miwaku bows as the crowd boos him and throws rotten tomatoes. Miwaku lifts his head and sees the only character in the crowd not booing - what appears to be his mother, yet all grey. He rises from his bow, and as he does, his “mother” stands, a single rose in hand. She pulls the hand holding the rose back, and raises her free hand as if to aim - and then throws the rose forward, tip first. It pierces Miwaku’s heart, and he fails to act surprised. He falls to his knees, one hand cupping the rose - and then falls forward.

The curtain closes, hiding his body, save the pool of blood seeping under it.

+ SHSL Carny, Akumako Kyabu: “Down with the Clown” - Mako sits atop a fusion of a dunk tank and drop tower. On a platform across him, Monokuma is dressed as a ringmaster. He whips at a line up of balls, aiming for the target next to Mako - all to make a “crack” at the trauma Mako experienced from his father. As Mako delves further and further into a flashback-induced panic attack, a roller coaster twines around the tower - eventually crashing into the target, sending Mako hurtling down to a tank of acid.

- SHSL Gardener, Mederu Narihana: “Painting the Roses Red” - Mederu runs through a field of white roses, away from a harvester (driven bya Monokuma, of course”. Her ankle is caught in the thorns, of a rose, sending her to the ground. She watches in horror as the blades of the harvester grow closer.

+(/? Undecided) SHSL Storyteller, Kaname Tatekawa: “Storybook Ending” - In front of a tower on a stage, a noose is lowered around Kaname’s neck - and in front of her, a cascade of long, blonde hair. As the noose begins to pull up, Kaname is left with no choice but to climb the hair. Along the way, she is assaulted by various challenges - first, birds, then poison clouds, and even dragons! Despite the challenges, she reaches a window, and within a dress, the source of the hair, a fair maiden - psyche! It’s Monokuma, obviously. With a pair of scissors! Cutting the hair, he sends Kaname to her death.

+ SHSL Know-it-All Trivialist Human Encyclopedia, Senju Yoshinaga: “(Your Life is in) Jeopardy!” - On the colorful stage of a game show, Senju is chained to a podium, wearing a metal gauntlet poised above a button. As Monokuma asks questions, a magnet in the podium activates, forcing Senju to pressed the button - earning him a shock from the jumper cables hooked up to the button. As time goes on, the questions come faster (and harder, despite not giving him a chance to answer). Finally, the final question arrives - “Are you going to heaven, or to hell?”. This time, the magnet is not released, and Senju fries.

- SHSL Contemporary Dancer, Saburo Morishita: “Dance Dance Despair” - Saburo stands upon a DDR platform in the middle of a circular stage - around him, blades. As the game starts, the blades move in junction, ready to impale him should he misstep. Soon, Monokuma is forced to change gears with a lever, as it becomes clear Saburo won’t mess up. The game bcomes faster in turn, the moves more complicated. Again, Monokuma makes the game harder, appearing to sweat. Finally, Monokuma pulls the lever to a setting marked “DANGER”. Still Saburo endures. The game does not fare as well, steam coming for the pistons piloting the blades, metal glowing with heat, the area becoming bathed by a red glow. Finally, the machines implodes, killing Saburo.

Small announcement

Riku here. This blog may or may not go into a small hiatus. Yeah, those four or five days we’ve been inactive were kind of a give away, but whatever. This is more official.

Reason number one is actually quite simple; school. Catvic has to yet settle down some things with university.

Reason number two, not so much. You see, Catvic decided to focus on writing and a really complicated story that’s been paused since, at least, seven years. And now has decided that is the perfect moment to return to that project.

Anyway, even though there’s not a definitive return date, this probably won’t be permanent. If you get a like or reblog, it means we are most likely still lurking around.

So, yeah, that would be all. Take care and all that stuff.

My DR OCs meet the NRC dorms

I wanted to write about my DR OCs but I also wanted to write about TW, so this is kind of a compromise. I’ll do just the boys first cause I can’t hande them all.

A little introduction of them:

Riku: A midly cynical and salty teenager who owns a blog. A little bit of a grammar nazi and has a habit of writing down everything that happens.

Ken: A major fanboy who’s somehow friends with Riku. Self appointed sidekick. Knows a little bit of martial arts.

Ryu: A gardener whose puberty never expanded outside his head. Has a little bad luck and is very sensible, especially with plants.

Yusei: Token shota. Was raised by traditional japanese grandparents so he’s a little out of touch with modern things. The moral compass.

Taishi: Self appointed mom friend. One of the presentors from “Doll talk” and starred on several newcasts.

Enjoy this product of my self indulgence. Now into the interesting part!:

Heartslabyul

Ryu is instantly delighted with the masive rose garden... until he learns that they paint them. Proceed to a twenty minute discussion with Riddle midget fight on why that’s bad for them. The whole dorm can hear it.

Meanwhile Cater approaches the group and end ups in a conversation with Riku, Ken and Taishi about how the media works on TW.

That’s until Riku learns the Wi-Fi password and pretty much leaves to be on his own. Ken notices it like ten minutes later and goes to search for him. Taishi leaves to do damage control with Trey.

Ace tries to make fun of Yusei’s apparence, to wich he says: “Is dragging others down the only way you feel good with youself?”. Needless to say Ace didn’t try that again on Yusei. He did try it on Ryu and he earned himself a shovel hit to the stomach.

Somehow the group end ups earning Deuce respect.

Both Riku and Yusei start arguing about the rules with Riddle. Riku says they are ridiculous (wich Riddle brushes off) while Yusei says that, if they are so important, how is that so few have access to them (that one actually hits Riddle). Yusei end ups being the one who follows all the rules and helping others. By the end, Trey and Riddle are practically begging to keep him.

Savanaclaw

Furrie jokes, like so many. Courtesy of Riku and Ken. and then you have Ryu and Yusei, very confused on how to treat the students. Like people or like the animals they are? Does that wolf guy there like pats?

Taishi tried to keep them in order, but he gave up and just asked Ruggie for advice on how things worked at Savanaclaw. Needless to say none of them were very happy with the strenght based dorm, as none them were exactly strong (they are all twinks).

Except Ken, the little bastard practiced martial arts and actually managed to take down some of the students. Then Ryu and Yusei remembered that they tecnically had weapons on them and shit almost goes down.

Leona is finally called by Ruggie and things seems to go quiet... until he starts arguing with Riku and the peace goes out the window.

Despite everything, Jack ends ups getting along with Yusei. They have a deep conversation about what actually is strenght.

Octavinelle

The group enjoy it their time at this dorm at first. The atmosphere is too soothing for even someone like Riku to say something bad (out loud). Still, Taishi has a worrying feeling about the place, like they shouldn’t be there. He eventually suggests it to the others, but Riku is the only other to acknowledge it.

Ken is the only one in the group with enough stamina to stand Floyd’s antics, so they left him to do exactly that.

Although their conversation start a little ankward, Jade and Ryu spend a lot of time talking about terrariums, plants and mushrooms. the small one is impressed by all the types of vegetation that exist in this world. He even shows the eel a small bag he has with strange seeds.

Floyd eventually grows tired of Ken and goes to try to annoy Yusei, but he barely gets a reaction out of him; so he tries with Ryu instead. Boy. That quickly turns on a battle on who has the worst mood swings. Jade is left a little dissapointed as he was having a interesting conversation with the gardener.

Is when Azul tries to offer a deal to them that Taishi realises something “You are a loan shark, aren’t you?”

-“What makes you think such a thing?”

-”I have dealt with ones like you”. Proceed to Azul being passive agresive, then to Yusei backing Taishi and to Riku being even more passive agresive.

Scarabia

After what happened at the last dorm the change of air was needed. Upon hearing their arrival, Kalim decided to throw a party. The boys decided to just go with the flow. Except Riku. He slips away every time he can.

Taishi and Yusei feel a little guilty about the whole ordeal and offer themselves to help with things. Jamil tries to convince them that isn’t neccesary to no avail, the smaller one is really persistant. Deep down he’s actually relieved and grateful of the offer.

Ryu is actually enjoying himself. Truth that he’s a little ankward, but the light hearted energy makes him calm. He eats, talks to students and even dances a little.

Ken gave himself in the mood from minute one. Talks to almost everyone, dances all the songs, tries clothes and food, etc. Kalim even offers him a ride on the magic carpet, wich he obviously accepts.

There’s a point where he keeps doing things but looks totally drained. That’s whe Riku appears from wherever he was to phisically take him down and make him rest.

Kalim managed to take all of them on the carpet ride at least once. After the party, all of them volunteer to clean.

Pomefiore

Vil almost has a heart attack when seeing Riku, and I don’t blame him. A sweater made out of other sweaters, jumper pants, espadrilles and the hair... oh dear, THE HAIR. Guess who’s banned from Pomefiore? They don’t just want him outside the building, but out period. He’s left waiting on the portals room.

Ryu seems content at first with the surrondings. Then some students start to ask if he is a dwarf and were he keeps his diamonds (ones with malice and others out of ignorance). This makes him stay outside. In the end, he goes to wait alongside Riku.

The rest have a pleasent time. Vil and Taishi discuss about how to impress people on public presentations, Rook and Ken talk about the art of appreciating others and Epel and Yusei bond over no one taking them seriously due their appearence.

Ken start talking about everybody’s talents, strenghts and weaknesses. Meanwhile, Rook is mentally writing down all the information.

That’s when he learns about Yusei’s talent, so he decides to have an archery competition. Epel and Ken are the ones who finally convince him to do it. It’s a rought fight, but Yusei is the overall winner.

Rook and Epel also jump on the “Please, can we keep this boy?” bandwagon.

Ignihyde

Oh, boy. If there are two things Yusei is terrified of, those are fire and technology. So yeah, while calm on the outside (cause boy doesn’t want to be disrepectful), on the inside he’s totally freaking out. Doesn’t help that little Ortho has taken an interest on him and constantly tries to approach him. He’s running out of polite ways to tell him to stay away.

Fortunately, Ken comes to the rescue and starts to talk to Ortho about all the fandoms he knows, wich are enough to write a book.

The other shortie of the group isn’t having a good time either. Everything is so dead, gloomy and artificial that this boy is near a meltdown. Ryu tries to seek help from others but 1) Yusei is just as distressed as him, 2) Ken is busy entertaining the Ignihyde students, 3) Taishi is too distracted by the cameras system and 4) Riku is nowhere to be found.

You see, even though Taishi is the appointed responsible of the group, he still a presentor and the sights of such high technology cameras have him mesmerized, to the point he doesn’t notices that two of them are bordeline breakdown and one is missing.

Speaking of wich, where’s Riku? Well, he went to a remote place of Ignihyde, connected to the dorms servers and started to write down all the archives that interested him. Meanwhile, he also managed to chat with Idia (who was obvioulsy absent to the whole ordeal) and bond over the fact that both are two antisocials with pessimistic and sassy tendencies.

In the end, Ken convinces Ortho to help looking for Riku. Then Ortho asks Idia to try to track him down, wich he reluctantly does.

Diasomnia

They are taken back at first because the intimating aura they give. Riku is the first to realize that, deep down, they are idiots.

It takes one comment from Ryu about the structure to trigger Malleus “gargoyle lover mode”. The group surprisingly enjoys it. Thanks to an observation from Riku, he comments about how dreadful with technology he is, to wich Yusei agrees with “Once I managed to burn a freezer and freeze a microwave”. They kinda bond over that.

Seeing that, Sebek also tries to bond with this human and he actually succeeds. The two of them share views on how to be a guard. Another one that he liked (but wont admit it) was Ken, for similar motives.

Meanwhile, Ken and Ryu managed to share Lillia’s attention, be it for teasing them, in the later case, or for strange conversations, in the former’s case.

Riku decides to stay with Silver as they have decent conversations and, when he’s asleep, he doesn’t bother the blogger too much.

For the first time, Taishi doesn’t have much to do. He talks here and there with some students but, overall, he isn’t doing much.
