Here comes me, late to the game... as usual.... Thanks for the tags @martassimsbook, @aisquaredchoco and @venusprincess-ts3 for the tags! I appreciate it!

Are you named after anyone? Yes, I have a family name... It is a very unique and unusual name. I was named after my late grandmother, and share the name with an aunt and cousin.

When was the last time you cried? Ooo... like yesterday. Currently going through a tough time, emotionally. Lots of stress at work. And other stuff.

Do you have kids? Not yet, but hubby and I have been trying for a year and a half now... which circles back to point 2. lol

Do you use sarcasm a lot? Yes, more than I should. Passive aggression is the only way I can let out frustrations these days, because punching people in the face is frowned upon.

What sports do you play/have you played? At school I played hockey. At university I did scuba diving... does that count?

What’s the first thing you notice about other people? Probably their height... I’m relatively tall myself, so most people feel like pipsqueaks next to me.

Any special talents? Nope, nothing that is unique to me

Where were you born? In the Kalahari desert in South Africa

What are your hobbies? Aside from sims, I love writing (and read tons of books). Art and painting is another favorite

Do you have any pets? Yes!!! My two cocky-monsters... commonly known as cockatiels. The sass it real.

How tall are you? 1.76m / 5′8′’

Fave subject in school? Technical drawing and computer programming

Dream job? Architect... Which also happens to be my career in real life (we have a love-hate relationship)

Eye color? Like a sage green type colour... very neutral... goes with everything.

It’s all in the hips, it’s all in the hips... Rosa rugosa (Japanese Rose, I prefer Itching Powder Rose) Today’s #oneadayplant . After many, lovely, deliciously scented flowers through summer, this species shrub rose will reliably produce handsome yellow/orange autumn colour and many of these large, ovoid (love that word) juicy hips. Inside each hip are lots of hairy seeds, commonly used by naughty schoolchildren as I once was as itching powder thrown down someone’s back. I don’t recommend or condone this, it is mean and irritates the skin horribly. . Birds will eat them to an extent, but they largely persist until the new year where they dry up on the plant before falling off. . A robust shrub that thicket forms in time. Very resilient in terms of pruning, you can hack it, hedge trim, or selectively prune (which is the best method for plant longevity). I prefer a three year cycle, removing wood older than three years to the base. This establishes a strong, neater plant, that flowers better and is less susceptible to mildew (not that they really are anyway) or other disease. . Makes an excellent informal hedge. You may want to mix up this with white forms, or my favourite, the double-magenta ‘Roseraie de l’Hay’, into a mixed hedge or screen. They all partner well. . A good thing, though it is listed as a 2010 addition to Schedule 9 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 as a plant that is illegal to be introduced from gardens into the wild as it is a coloniser that will and has done this, so do think about the greater landscape when selecting for garden use. . Now is the time for fruiting of many of our hardy trees, shrubs and perennials. How well they do over the years is dependent on this success.
