wake up sheeple !! the notion that katara is the overbearing, responsible member of the group was a lie peddled by Big Toph to distract from the fact that the actual overbearing, responsible member of the group (sokka) also happens to be her favorite.

I love that women like Jane Austen and Elizabeth Gaskell were out there in 1810 or 1855 unapologetically creating shippable couples and excruciating tension and swoonworthy moments in the most delicious slow-burn love stories. Like they were obviously drawing on their own desires to be able to hit the spot, to know what women want, and were writing to afford themselves and others a vicarious experience of love in a society that was probably pretty devoid of it. And here I am 200 years later, also a wistful romantic woman who needs escapism, still in agreement about what love should look like, and their otp is now my otp.

You know what era of romcoms I miss? It's the early 2000s teen romcoms that were based on classic literature. They were some of my favorite ones, and yeah, some were loosley based, but they still hit those important bases, and they were so much fun.
We had:
Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew - 10 Things I Hate About You
Shakespeare's 12th Night - She's the Man
Snow White - Sydney White
Cinderella - A Cinderella Story, What a Girl Wants
Little Mermaid - Aquamarine
Jane Austen's Emma - Clueless
The Scarlett Letter - Easy A
Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet - Warm Bodies
Shakespeare's Midnight Summer's Dream - Get Over It
Pygmalion - She's All That
Shakespeare's The Merry Wives of Windsor - John Tucker Must Die
Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility - Material Girls
I might be missing some, but I remember just having fun with these. One of my English teachers also showed us a few of these movies while studying Shakespeare to show how pieces of literature can change over the years and inspire other's own takes.

I’m glad to be included in gender, and it’s an honor to trans your gender, but gender is astrology to me. “Girl sun boy moon.” You don’t agree, but now you get me better. Send post

I think your art trademark is that it's full of gender! I'm sure there are other things too, but that's what I thought of first. Also, it's very good. <3
thank you! i’m also full of gender!

I love hybrid and shifter au's, but whenever I think too long about them, I start thinking about my own pets and the kind of things I say to them.
"[Dog] STOP following the cat! The cat would be happy to be friends but the cat does not want you to sniff her butt!"
"[Dog1], stop sniffing her genitals! [Dog2]'s already displaying all the behaviors of a submissive pup, you don't need to sniff her genitals too!"
"[Dog2] for god's sake, stop barking at the cat! The cat is hiding under a table! You don't need to bark at her! She's not doing anything to you!"
"[Dog1], NO! I gave that stick to [Dog2]! You cannot take that stick from her just because you're jealous that I gave her a stick! *gives stick back to dog2* Here, [Dog1], here's a new stick, this one is all yours *both dogs happily destroying sticks*"
"You better stop getting in her face, [Dog2]. She's gonna bap-bap-bap you! You better leave her alone! *dog2 predictably gets smacked in the face by the cat and begins crying despite having harassed the cat for an hour*"
*endless hours kicking the soccer/football ball for one dog while simultaneously playing tug-of-war with a stuffed alligator for the other dog*
*hears the cat hiss from another room and rushes in in time to see dog2 get absolutely wrecked by a smack-smack-smack to the face*
In short, Price is exhausted and is considering telling Gaz that he's not allowed to keep the cat hybrid. (But he can't stand the combined sad faces from his team and the kitty... no matter how many times the kitty smacks particular team members... daily...)

The best thing about BSD Lucy Montgomery is that she is trying so hard to live her fairy tale dream, like asking Atsushi to save her from the Guild and all that nonsense.
Instead, she just gets beaten by him once when they're enemies, gets out of the Guild on her own, and has to save that sorry boy's life over and over again.
Like, sorry, Lucy girl...you're not the damsel in distress in this fairy tale. You're the prince charming who had a bit of a villain arc and now is doing good out of sheer spite and stubborness. Better luck next arc?

I cannot believe the way this show treated Si-a.
Most bls don't have girls and when they do, they're either love interests, villains or cardboards. Somehow, their only link is to the main character who they will obsess over (in hate or in love)
But for some reason, this show decided to give Si-a multiple relationships and personal goals, so that there was a reason for her to be there.
Before the plot began, she was a photographer/model. She was Kyunhun's sister. She was Sangwon's bff. But as the story began, she became Myungha's boss. And then she grew from being Yeowoon's fan to his love coach.
She was a part of the plot. Not as a love interest or villain. Just as a character that existed among her fellow teenagers. A strongminded girl who quarreled with anyone who picked on her meek brother.
And for a bl? This is revolutionary.
